Link was drawn to him because of how much older and experienced he was, and Javert took pity on Link, both in a sort of genuine but also kind of overbearing way. ultimately Link got annoyed by him pretty quickly and once he started to get to know Malon he basically ghosted him. another example of how Link struggles to balance relationships, especially those who really care for him. obviously i. didn't go further with this. but it was planned for about a year before I scrapped it. But i hope you reread their scene together to pick up on some vibes.....

my fave so far has been the fake dating chapters between mei and yuuma :3 literally so cute. its like 4 tropes in one couple!! plus the contrast between the badass mei and the shy (but still dependable) hana(e) is adorable!!!

something i've noticed thaat i really enjoy is that hana(e) whille in "girl mode", does a complete personality 180, while mei seems to basically act the same no matter how she looks, simply just more smiley around hana , and i find that contrast really cute! its like hana is hana(e)'s "true" self, or at least the self she wants to be, whereas (shuu)mei is able to be himself no matter what she looks like .. or at least thats the way i've been analysing it

hana definitely does do a complete flip in personality and becomes more outgoing and comfortable around people as a girl and its rly sweet, presenting as a girl does so much for her and the person he's always wanted to be like i wish her only the best. love how supportive hiyoko's been going so far as to let him keep her girl clothes in her closet djkgsjkgsdh both little sibling charas mean the world to me actually

mei on the other hand definitely isnt much different from his usual shuumei persona other than maybe less rough in line with the "girl" image (though i adore when she starts going beast mode also. i love u mei) and even if at first he only started to become mei in order to get to know hana it seems shes started to enjoy herself in general and its super neat to me. i think about the mei and pride bonus chapter every day of my life its ok girl you can have fun. free yourself!!

though the few interactions between yuuma-mei and shuumei-hana r also super sweet, seeing them let a bit of their hana and mei tendencies slip during those times is super cute i absolutely cannot wait for them to figure it out/reveal themselves at some point :'] also this parallel in particular super funny to me you can really see the yuuma behind hana and shuumei under mei. silly guys

I'm new to marauders, this is the second fic I've read.

Summary: I liked this fic, a lot. It was a fun read and I really liked the progression of both Wolfstar and James/Lili (is it Jilly? I can’t remember). A bit less angsty than what I usually read and some parts felt underbaked, but the author kept my attention INCREDIBLY. I stayed up about four hours later than I usually do binge reading this. I liked this fic, a lot. It was a fun read and I really liked the progression of both Wolfstar and James/Lili (is it Jilly? I can’t remember)

I do feel like it was a little too light at times, there wasn’t a whole lot of grey area morally, and a lot of big issues weren’t fully fleshed out. I wish they’d dived into Regulus more, and Snape. I wish they’d addressed Sirius’ use of the Cruiciatus curse, and I wish they’d address Dumbledores failings more directly

Werewolf shit was fantastic to read, the angst, the fear, the violence, the drama. I thought the transformations were excellently done and I really enjoyed the progression of them figuring out the roaming/playing

Hogsmeade passage shut off? Strange.

I did not enjoy that I cannot be sure they are safe. That’s a benefit of post-hog warts fic, if its truly marauders James and Lily often don’t die.

Overall very happy fic. I did love the aggressive use of drunkness as a plot device, I liked Lily’s characterization for the most part, and it was pretty addicting in the middle.

I thought Characterization was good, not fantastic but definitely good. Peter threw me, not very likable. It’s hard to do him correctly and have him add worth to the story, but I just did not like him the whole time, and I felt like Remus and Sirius both didn’t care for him and found him annoying.

My rankings are not supposed to be biased. Horrible shitty fic would get like a one, something readable but bad would get a fourish. Most fics that I read will be around 7-9 simply because I sort by Kudos and get recs from misuss so they’re better quality to begin with.

Great light silly read, with just enough depth to keep it interesting. I could see myself re-reading this fic once I get to know the marauders better.

Also, I do not like the fanart in this fic but I'm sure that's not universal. The artist is credited within the fic but I'd like to tag them here just to acknoledge the hard work that went into it. I checked them out and ADORE some of their other work, this one was just not to my liking. They have some percy jackson shit up that EATS.

Saw your most recent post on dhmis and tma and I've got opinions to say I believe Computers is an Eye episode because Colin's whole deal is stealing personal info and being smart but its not my strongest I see Jobs as a buried because while it doesn't involve much claustrophobia its more about harmful workplaces and overworking which ties in with the buried in a symbolic sense. I will argue so strongly Death is an End episode. The End is LITERALLY the fear of death smh. While I can see the argument its a Stranger because of Stain Edwards the theme of death is so strong that it isn't that relevant. I see Family as both Stranger and Corruption, Stranger because the whole episode feels very uncanny with the design of the family and set being a "real" place. It's also Corruption because the episode is about toxic family relations. I still cannot believe how you thought Friendship was originally a Vast episode. While I can see why you would assign it Lonely it's clearly a Corruption, it's literally about toxic friendships. Also bugs. Tbh i don't know what to assign to Transport my closest guess is Vast but my argument isn't very strong Electricity is a hard one, I don't think i can assign it to one entity. I think Electracey is a Extinction avatar because she's a robot and the "everything in the home will be plugged in and part of the electric family" line. I could see Charged Yellow being either Eye, Stranger or Extinction. Eye because he's want to find the truth and also green eyes, Stranger because Yellow gets replaced, and Extinction because he gets replaced using specifically technology. The power outage is probably Dark because darkness. Lesley is a Web avatar, I will fight you on this. She's controlling them, she's the literal puppet master. You said that Lesley isn't the main one pulling the string making her less Web aligned but I would argue that makes her MORE web aligned because she's knows she's not fully in control. I interpret becoming a web avatar as not only being manipulative, but accepting your lack of free will. As Annabelle said in 147, "let it never be said that I do not dance the steps I am assigned." im rereading the scene where james gets collared and like. at first I interpreted it as "oh yeah ofc the power feels familiar bc he felt it in his past life with sarcean" but like. you can also interpret it as him realizing it felt familiar bc he felt it with WILL, and him piecing together that dark king = will in the moment. especially with the line "why had he thought it would be any different? always and forever he was bound to one person" idk this is extremely delulu and maybe I'm completely wrong 🤪

sorry more about the collar. like. what the fuck is it. it almost seems like it's a key that unlocks the dark kings powers, or a conduit that allows James to unlock it with his magic. very interesting how he can feel a direct connection to the power. almost makes me think the collar was made by the sun king to exploit the dark kings endless amount of magic by channeling it thru anharion. OR they did some fuckery and locked away sarceans magic and it can only be unlocked by anharion. idk

ultimately I think the series is gonna end with a peace treaty between the light and dark, bc will is very different from the dark king of past, and Elizabeth (if she ends up being the lady of light) also seems very different from the original lady of light, so there is a chance they recognize each other as who they Are, not who they Were, and they'll bring about a new age where light and dark coexist with each other

this last one I'm absolutely pulling out of my ass but I have a feeling that anharion was the lady's brother. idk. that's just me. also they're quite ambiguous about the "love" that Sarcean felt for the lady. was it platonic? familial? romantic? did he have a poly relationship with them?? so many questions

ok so idk about Magnum Opus but . you can hear it in the silence is probably the most personal fic i have ever written and the closest to a magnum opus i’ll ever get bc 1. i relate so deeply to mike wheeler as is and this was kind of how i interpreted his struggle w his identity and coming into himself just as a teenager navigating that weird place between high school and college and figuring out your interests and who u are,, and 2. full disclosure bc we’re all Friends here i Did write this fic right after a long distance relationship ended earlier in the summer which definitely influenced my decision to write it in the first place and 3. idk! there were so many aspects of this fic that were just me projecting, like mike getting the older sister mentor figure he deserves (i love nancy but she is Not the greatest older sister ok) and learning to take his time w things when you feel like u dont have enough of it,, anyways i would say this fic is probably my Favorite ive written ! it’s rly hard for me to reread my works but this one ive read back a few times and i actually. enjoy it?
