GIBSON AND GORO ARE SO IMPORTANT TO ME!!!! despite their history there was never any lingering hostility or anything between them. they respected each other so much and took so much inspiration from one another and grew as people because of it. like gibson had been so arrogant and almost selfish in his debut eps but he transformed thanks to goro's influence and became such a humble and selfless person like even when he was dying he never put himself first. it was all about keeping his promise to goro, and making up for lost time with junior, and upholding the pride of his country, even if it meant putting his life on the line to do so. and in the last arc of season 5 we saw how he touched the hearts of fans all around the world with his resolve and i think it's so so beautiful

ok i promise ill sleep but- but i got hit with these ideas and i need to write them down before i forget

count this as a preview to some of my wips ;)

1) streamer shin brainrot. he unconsciously reads chat out loud, and to test this somebody sends “aw fine i guess you are my lil pogchamp. cmere” in chat. which he reads. on stream. it takes a solid second for him to realize he even said it but when he does he’s dead. somebody he’s streaming with(midoriya?) chokes on laughter. somebody else is howling

2) so, this one’ll be in two parts. shin’s a runaway and is, y’know, homeless. he meets the reader and the reader is awesome so they let him have a place to stay. the two fall in love and have their sweet moments, except shin’s aware that he’s lowkey dependent and that he needs to step up, get his stuff together, start taking care of himself. at one point the reader offers to buy him a phone, for better communication, but that’s when he realizes “no this is bad i need to get out of this i feel like i’m literally taking advantage of them” so while they’re at work one day he packs up and leaves, leaving behind a note about how “you were the right person. but it just wasn’t the right time. i’m sorry” fast forward a year or two and the reader has an encounter that reminds them of him, so they write down their memories of him and end up posting said memories online- so that if anybody sees him, or something, they can just let the reader know that he’s doing okay in part 2, another couple years go by. the reader’s recovered for the most part, though sometimes people do still message them about how they think they’ve spotted shin, or something. they mostly ignore that, now. but then one day, somebody messages them with a picture and an address- a big, brick wall, with a 75% finished mural on it- all done in spray paint. it doesn’t take long to realize that the mural is literally the reader’s face. they spend like, a week pondering it and wondering if it’s not shin but just some random street artist. but eventually, they decide to just throw caution to the wind- their heart aches too much. they go to the mural to find  that it’s now finished and that it’s gotten kind of viral- people keep stopping by to stare at it. right at the top of the art is the reader’s name, written in a familiar chicken scratch. in the bottom corner is written, “call me” with a phone number. somebody realizes that the model of the portrait is there and is like “OH MY GODHSBJSIJANF CROWD DISPERSE READER YOU NEEDA COME GET A CLEAR LOOK AT THIS PHONE NUMBER” then they do. it takes a lot of confidence, but... they feel kind of pressured by the people around them. so they call him. the first thing they hear is an annoyed voice, “don’t tell me it’s another fake y/n. if it is, i’m seriously painting over that th-” “no. it’s me. asshole.” then a little gasp. there’s silence for a little while “...i know, yeah, that’s me. i don’t expect you to forgive me. but still... i want to see you again. is that, um, okay?” “yeah. all i’ve ever wanted is to see you again”

3) shinsou sees the reader at a bus stop and imagines a whole life with them

4) it’s 3 am at the ua dorms, and somebody comes down to see shin.. baking? he’s facetiming the reader(his s/o <3) and playing soft music and he’s highkey insecure abt the brownies, to the point he keeps stopping to ask them if he’s doing well. whoever’s witnessing this sees a whole new side of him that they can’t help kinda falling in love(platonic! love) with... so in the week after that shin finds he has an unexpected new friend <3

5) the first time you say love to him. it gets kind of angsty and highkey awkward but it’s sweet <3

sdjgdjs i’ve only ever watched cringe dramas if the man is good looking (but like only clips in this case) or i need to make fun of it with my friends . i like to indulge in horror when i’m anxious bc it somehow makes it better like 😭 at least i have it better than THOSE guys lmfao <3 but also i don’t like heavy gore ahaha. 

some parts of the aib live action i liked WAY better especially bc the actors did so incredibly well portraying the characters (and the 7 of hearts game... bye i took so long coming to terms with it it’s WAY more emotional in the live) and i liked the first game (different in the manga) way more in the live. as for the manga i HATE the ending but also the manga introduces side characters and their stories and i really like that about it! the whole tunnel distance game was actually a side story in the manga and i kind of don’t like them centering the plot too much around arisu (but .. also.. it’s yamazaki kento... and i like that man too much for my dignity..) and also.... i don’t like how they left niragi and aguni’s status undisclosed like that??? like [LIGHT MANGA SPOILERS] they play a very key role in the manga so ?!?! i just hope s2 turns out well netflix i am begging u

SO NAUGHTY BOY is one of my favorite title tracks ever esp w how the album has like. for naughty boy, the reflective page and then the lyrics written backwards so when you hold it up w the reflective page it shows correctly, but i also love like this for v sentimental reasons of it being the first time hui got to write a title track and when they started being self produced !!! i also rlly like genie:us era - even though w that i wasnt the Biggest Fan of uh. certain specific styling choices i rlly love that album so much w the pop up + shinwons page of universe wishes? + the "raise your head, you're a genius" page at the end w the reflective bit is very comforting ??? i also love the album as a whole, how all the songs are very different genres but when you look at the lyrics and themes its all connected and makes sense cause its abt...them and their perseverence ???? aaa i could rant abt this for a long time rgkjdlk
