dating girl (jjk)
pairing: jungkook x reader
summary: you try to convince yourself that you're really okay with 'casually dating' your crush.
genre: college au, fwb kinda thing but more than friends ygm? angst!
"Are they allowed to cancel an entire day at college? That can't be good for anyone..." Your mother ponders out loud as you walk around the city hand-in-hand.
"There's not much you can do if someone decides to paint over every projector lens on campus." You nod.
"Lucky for me, I get to spend time with my little baby," she nuzzles her nose into your hair, squeezing you in a side-hug, "Still can't believe we have to schedule our hangouts now."
"Yeah, there's that..." You smile half-heartedly.
You stop near a flower stall, taking in the hustle and bustle of the city. It's especially crowded because of your university abruptly cancelling a bunch of classes.
After your day had freed up unexpectedly, you had invited your sorta but not really boyfriend, Jungkook, to go cafe hopping to find where all the good teas are because you knew he'd be available. But he never responded.
So your mood has been a bit damp all day.
You had just stepped out of this store that sold handmade sweaters and yarn balls. Not even a good shopping spree could lift your spirits.
What certainly doesn't help is randomly seeing said sorta but not really boyfriend who didn't respond to your texts out and about with some leggy blonde girl.
You've never seen her around.
Not that you know every single person on campus, but if they've crossed Jungkook's path, you know them.
They're dining together al fresco, at one of the cafes you had literally listed in your text to Jungkook.
Talk about a slap in your face.
For a second, you think she might just be his sister or something.
But that thought bubble is quickly shot at with a razor-sharp arrow when you see him kiss her knuckles.
Your eyes involuntary darken, and your mouth forms a pout. The kind one has when they're trying to hold back a cry or a sob.
All the while, your mother had talked about your grandparents' separation, the local diner having caught fire, and matching mother and daughter shoes she had bought for your birthday.
You were listening passively so you didn't quite catch everything.
When your mother notices the look on your face, she frowns, following the line of your vision.
Upon spotting Jungkook and mystery girl, she gasps angrily, "Oh, no, he sucks." She turns back to you, "Honey, I'm so sorry."
"No, mom, this is normal," you smile weakly, "And it's okay."
"You're still seeing him, aren't you?" She tilted her head in confusion.
"Yes." You nod, "I am."
"But then he's there," she points at the pair with her chin, "seeing her. How's that okay?"
"It just is, mom! Really," you attempt to convince your mother (and yourself) that you were 100% fine with witnessing Jungkook out with other women. "We're keeping things casual. Very... casual."
"And that's a mutual decision?" She confirms.
"We both agreed." You concur.
Your mother's still unsure about your choices. "Well. Okay then."
You glance at Jungkook and mystery girl one last time.
The picture isn't pretty. He's leaning into her ear and has his large hand placed over her bare thigh as she caressed his arm with her much smaller hand, thoroughly enjoying his attention.
Your mother watches your expression go stiff, "So, how does this work again?"
Snapping you out of your daze, she pushes a few strands of hair away from your eyes.
"Oh. Um..." You exhale, "Well, we see each other and we see other people, and that's that. We're cas-" - "Yeah, casual, I heard." Your mother interrupts your blabber.
When you frown at her she sighs, "Sorry..."
"It's ok." You look down at your feet, kicking a few stray pebbles out of the way.
"I just--- I thought you guys were sleeping together." She blurts.
"Mom!" You exclaim, looking around to see if anyone had heard her, "It's not that big of a deal. I want this too. And I need to learn to date too."
Again, you try to ease your mind about your decision.
"So who else are you dating?" She asks pointedly.
This is suddenly getting very exhausting.
You lightly cringe and look around, "Uh... Nobody yet. But this guy from one of my extras--- his name's Hoseok but we call him Hobi, or Hoba, depending on how close you are to him--- anyway, he asked me out to a halloween theme party next week."
Your mother gives you a knowing look, deciding to play along anyway, "Oh! You've never mentioned him before."
"Mhm. Because it's new." You hunch your shoulders nervously.
The party was hosted by the student body to raise funds for, you don't know, collegiate stuff.
You had imagined going with Jungkook, with matching Dentist and Tooth Fairy couple costumes. But he hadn't asked you yet and you definitely weren't going to bring it up first.
It's less than a week away, so you're not expecting anything from him either. He probably already has another date lined up.
You wonder if it's the blonde he's with now.
Maybe you can do the look with Hoseok instead.
"So, are you gonna do it?"
"Do what?" Was she in your head?
"Go with Hobi or Hoba." She makes air quotations for 'Hobi or Hoba.'
"Oh, yeah. Yep. Definitely." Suddenly remembering, you add, "Oh and can you make me my costume? I want to be the Tooth Fairy?" You softly ask her, knowing it's a little last minute, but also knowing she wouldn't deny you.
"Why of course! Does... Hobi need a costume too?" She asks carefully.
"Oh, no. Probably not." Well, you don't know. You don't know if his offer even stands now and you might end up not going at all.
Your mother rubs your shoulder, "Ask him and let me know, 'kay?"
You force out an uncomfortable smile and nod, "Thanks."
Although your mother's not convinced, she decides to drop the topic all together.
"Well, that's good," she smiles down at you warmly, "Do you want to get that sweater exchanged?"
It was vague, but you appreciated her attempt either way.
"Mhm. Back to the store we go." You narrate with an airy laugh.
Your mother was in the lead, already making her way to the store you had just walked out of.
Once again, your gaze falls on Jungkook and his date, and to your surprise he was staring right back at you.
You want to give him a little smile. To show him you're unbothered. But you couldn't seem to force one out this time.
So you settle with giving him a small wave, which he returns, mirroring your expression.
His date follows his line of sight and spots you too, giving you a tight smile. It's not passive aggressive, just... decent. Not polite either. But why should she be?
Jungkook blinks at you as you hurriedly leave trying to keep up with your mother.
Maybe you should focus on Hoseok for now.
note: nobody asked for this but i was feeling a little silly :p needed some angsty ouchie with the possibility of a favourable conclusion so i indulged!
hey bonus points if you can tell what inspired this! and if you read all this lmk what you think regardless :D

Hello!!! It's nice to see new genshin wlw writers!!! I have a request, feel free to take creative liberties with it. Can I have a Harbinger! Reader x Arlecchino, where basically Arlecchino shadows reader to learn from about harbinger duties and responsibilities? The more they're together the more they like and fall for each other.
I struggled a bit on how to write this so I hope you enjoy it.
Arlecchino x harbinger!reader
Arlecchino is 19 at the start of this. Your age is not mentioned but you’re implied to be a little older. Mentions of alcohol.I might have made Arlecchino an angsty teen (but let’s be honest who wasn’t an angsty teen)but the fic is has a two year time skip.
You’re a harbinger and the new fourth harbinger has been assigned to shadow you. She’s so young no older than 20. She was pardoned not even a week ago and already a harbinger. You haven’t been a harbinger for long but you had to work for years to become one. And here’s the new big shot, a criminal turned harbinger.
You got dragged out of your thoughts when your door opened. You set your work down, looking up. She stood there. Her hair was too her shoulders clearly hasn’t been cut in a while, she just got out of jail what did you expect. She wore a suit. “So you’re the new harbinger?” You gathered your work up. Putting it in your drawer.
“Yes.” She had no emotion in her voice. God it was true Crucabena was a monster, you heard rumors about it, but you thought it was over exaggerated. But the look of this girl, it’s clear it’s true, sure she was good at hiding it but you could tell she looked like her whole world has been destroyed. Her voice rang out again dragging you from your thoughts a second time. “my name is Peruer- I mean Arlecchino.”
You laughed. “Not used to the new name? Don’t worry it took me a while too. I’ve read your file, you were raised in the house of hearth. Now you are the knave, and moth-“ she cut you off.
“Im the father. The title mother died with that woman.” You saw the blacken part on her arms to rise slightly.
“Father? Ok, ok sorry, that woman was a horrible person. But most of us are. You will have to control that anger and curse of yours.” Her fists unclench her face going blank again. You sighed. “I’ll be honest with you harbinger work is not as fun as it seems. We do paperwork I lot, we do get the most important missions. But we usually delegate the work. And if you need anything you can ask me. Now come here I’ll show you most of the work we tend to do.” She walked to your side and watched you. You went on explaining how to delegate work and getting to know your agents to make sure they can handle the work. “Now I do actually have a mission we have to do, it’s nothing too much but it’s something.”
Arlecchino followed you she’s not much younger than you but it’s clear she’s used to shutting up and doing what she’s told. “you can talk, I don’t care if you have questions. You are here to learn not to just mindlessly follow orders,”
“I don’t do small talk, not after her.” Arlecchino clearly doesn’t like talking all that much.
“Her?” It was clear she peaked your interest. Her eyes widened slightly. “Was it a girlfriend?”
“No.” She said it coldly. “She was just my best friend.”
“Did she die, was it the former knave’s fault?” You wanted this woman to open up a bit. Getting to know her was a need.
“Yes, she’s dead, but her death wasn’t that woman’s fault entirely. I killed her.” Her eyes looked dead, it was heartbreaking.
“Oh,” you didn’t know what to say. “Why?”
“Why? Because that woman that I called mother found a it funny to force children to fight to the death.”
“What?” She- she. That bitch. children?” You were surprised this was monstrous. “I’m sorry it must have been hard. Living like that.”
“she impaled herself on my sword. She was mother’s own flesh and blood.” She said all of this with a straight face. Nothing.
“I’m sorry,” you put your hand on her shoulder she tensed, it was clear that she’s been abused. “You don’t have to worry about the old mother. You’re the father of the house now, you can create a new beginning. For the new children as well as the ones that survived her. And rest assured that I will be there if you ever need help.”
She looked at you pushing your hand off her shoulder, it wasn’t hard she just grabbed your hand to took it off. “Alright. I’ll be sure to keep that in mind”
It was like this for a while, she shadowed you for a month before she was allow on her own. You could see her slowly piece her mask together. She was gracefully, and calm. Seeming to be uncaring. You knew better though she seemed to trust you. She comes by your office every once in a while. It’s been about two years since she became a harbinger. And you two ended up on a mission together. It wasn’t hard pretty easy in fact you barely did anything.
“It was nice working with you again, it reminded me of when I was shadowing you.” You smiled at her as she talked.
“You were still piecing together your mask. I think I’m the only one that knows about how angry you were when you got out of prison.”
“I was still a child. I couldn’t help but get mad.”
“Child? you were like 20”
“19 actually, I’m 21 now”
“Oh, a year off forgive me.” You were messing with her. When she stopped suddenly. “Arlecchino?” You looked back at her.
“You’re important to me. You know that right?” You felt your face heat up, Arlecchino’s changed a lot from when you first met her. She was angry, and a reckless teenager, now she was a graceful and calculated woman. “Be ready at 8 pm tonight I’m taking you somewhere fancy to thank you for everything.”
“You don’t have to do that. I swear”
“It’s to late I already have a reservation. Do not keep me waiting.” She walked forward. You walked along side her.
“You don’t take no for an answer do you?” You teased her
“You didn’t say no technically. But no I am taking you to dinner tonight.” She looked at you her Crimson x’s burning into you.
“Alright, alright. I’ll go to dinner with you. Fancy you say?”
“Yes I’m taking you to a fancy restaurant, it’s the least I can do, you’ve always did whatever you could to help me and the house. It means a lot to me.”
It was 6:30 when you got home. Arlecchino’s taking you to dinner. You barely had enough time to get ready in fact you barely put on your shoes when you heard her knock. “Come in” you touched up your lipstick as she opened the door.
“Are you ready?” She walked into your room, archons she was beautiful, her once short hair now reached her butt, pulled into a low ponytail. She was wearing her normal suit. While you were all dolled up, in a full face of makeup, your hair curled, a long skintight black dress, black heals and a silver clutch. “Well look at you all dressed up.”
“You told me we are going somewhere fancy. So I dressed up.” You were blushing slightly, Arlecchino is so much taller the you and the way she was leaning on the doorframe had you melting. You forgot when you started to like her, but you never did anything you know she’s not one to form relations. Your relationship with her was purely based on work.
“You look beautiful, truly” there you go again your face is definitely super red. Arlecchino grabbed your hand and pulled to to follow her, you did of course,
“You’re not one to dish out compliments.” You giggled a bit.
“Then you should know I’m being sincere” she didn’t let go of your hand, she held it all the way to the restaurant. She only let go when you were sat, in a private little corner. “Go ahead and pick out anything you want, I’m paying after all” you looked at the menu. Everything was pretty pricey, now with you being a harbinger the price would be no problem but still you live way below your means. So going to fancy places isn’t something you do often.
“I’ll just have the steak.”
“I’ll order the same then” after a bit the waiter arrived.
“What would you like to drink, ladies?
“Just get us on red wine,” the waiter nodded before hurrying off. And coming back with the wine. Pouring two cups of wine, Arlecchino took a sip of wine.
“So why did you wish to take me to a restaurant? Especially such a fancy one?”
“Am I not allowed to treat my closest confidant.” She raised her eyes brow at you, her expression barely changing but enough for you to notice.
“I’m not saying that, it’s just” you sighed. “You treat me so differently from everyone else”
“Well maybe that’s because I think of you differently.” She grabbed your hand. Placing a kiss on it. “And I always have.”
“Arle.” Your face heating up. When she raised her eyes to meet yours. This crimson x’s focused on you. And only you.
“I, you’re not someone I can lose. Ever.” She placed a kiss on your hand again.

Found the inbox, i think😅 could you please make a shortstory with aegon/tom the actor? Where yn is a co actress playing a servant/love interest for aegon, and they are supposed to kinda film a feisty makeout scene (on aegons bed🙄) . Anyway it’s kinda awkward so ofc Tom is gonna be a crackhead and try make yn laugh as well as being fliirtyyy (and dirtyminded). That’s it that’s all I’ve got. If this made some sense at all and you would be so kind to use your time and talent on this, I will be blushing and screaming for a week!!
A Total Babe
Tom Glynn-Carney x Actress!Reader
Summary: Aegon is yucky but Tom is baby (confirmed.)
Word Count: >800
Warnings: fem!reader, tom being super cutie and annoying T_T, set shenanigans, i have never actually been on set so im making stuff up as I go, fluff, typos, etc.
A/N: hello lovie im giving you an express pass (even though its not as express but trust me it's express lololol) because youre new here and im sure youre super panicked that i havent replied yet lol i btw combined your req with another one (i actually thought you were the anon that sent that) because they're quite similar. btw nonnie, i didn;t want to redo the matt smith fic, so i changed it up a bit <3 i hope you both like it <3 Tagging: @pinksirensong @deniixlovezelda
"Cut!" the director calls.
Tom, who was hovering atop me from the bed we were laid upon, pulls back, pressings his lips into a line, and rolls off, landing on his back.
I, who had been making out him for about 30 minutes, prop myself up on my elbows and eventually sit up. I suck in a breath, willing the haze that comes in the aftermath of kissing. I catch sight of the incoming stylists, ready to retouch our makeup and readjust our wardrobe.
I straighten up as the makeup artist redoes my foundation with her brush. I turn to the artist that goes up to Tom and I point a bit worriedly, "I think I accidentally messed with his wig."
Tom, who's stylist immediately check on his platinum hairpiece, turns to me, chuckle, "her fingers were two inches away from snatching it off."
They all laugh at his sentiment. I, in particular, snort and frown playfully, "fake news. You're such a drama enticer."
"What?" Tom chuckles, "I'm not kink shaming," he raises his hands, "but you can't just snatch my wig, baby."
I scoff, rolling my eyes, holding back my grin. I turn to the the stylists, absolutely humored and enamored by Tom's English drawl and smooth talking, "he's such a dweeb."
Tom pulls his upper lip up in faux annoyance, "I'm offended you think so little of me."
Once our makeup was retouched and ready, Tom and I go back to our spots on the other side of the set. He extends a hand out to help me up, although I didn't need it, and I take his hand, allowing him to lead us back to our marks. Totally normal. Totally no butterflies in my stomach.
Tom and I face each other, waiting for our queue. We absentmindedly look around the set. There are distant voices of crew members conversing behind the camera.
It turn to Tom when he pushes back hair behind my ear.
I give him a look and he gives me a narrow eyed smirk, as if nonverbally saying he did that just to mess with me. I ignore him and the tightening of my chest.
The next moment, the intimacy coordinator walks up to us with the director, the latter of the two says, "great shot guys, but I'm thinking wilder."
"Are we ok with that?" the intimacy coordinator asks, looking between us as she raises a thumb up with her questioning gaze.
Tom and I turn to each other, nodding softly as we purse our lips and mutter agreements.
"Ok," the director points, motioning over to the bed, "I think in this part, where you push up her skirt, you have to make sure the camera can see your hand on her thigh, Aegon."
Aegon's actor nods as we walk over to bed.
"Should we practice it?" I apprehensively offer.
"We can," Tom says, turning between the three of us, raising his hand out to me. I grab his hand and place it on my hip, hiking my skirt, placing up the bunched up fabric in Tom's hand. Much like a while ago, I place my hands on Tom's shoulders, leaning back a bit. His hand goes to my waist, and I huff, ignoring the washing machine turns in my stomach.
"Are we good?" the intimacy coordinator asks again, coming near us, placing a hand on our shoulders. Both Tom and I turn to her and agree. She smiles and nods, stepping back, "okie dokie.
The director steps forward, adjusting our form, turning over her shoulder, "how are we looking?"
One of the assistants calls, "looking hot!"
"Nice," the director grins, turning back to us. She turns to me, "you're good with whining out his name?"
"Tom?" I catch myself, "I- I mean-" but it's too late.
Tom, the director, the intimacy coordinator, and everyone else who catches my questioning tone, breaks into a giggle.
I bare my teeth in a tight grin, straightening myself up, pulling my hands away from Tom, "I meant Aegon," I weakly say.
Tom chortles, loosening his grip on me as he looks off to the camera, "for the record, she did not."
The director chuckles, slapping Tom's shoulder playfully as she turns to me, correcting, "Aegon!"
"Aegon," I nod my head.
"Aegon," Tom grins, as he says my character's name sequentially.
I roll my eyes at him, "yes but Aegon keeps forgetting her name."
"Fine," Tom says, continuing with my name as he throws a lopsided smile.
"Enough," our director, chastised lightly tapping Tom's nose, "if you two screw this up I'm making you do 600 push ups."
Tom gasps, pulling his hands away from me altogether, to hover his them by either side of his cheeks, "not corporal punishment."
I cross my arms, scoffing in amusement, turning to the director, "please actually make him do 600 pushups if he messes up."
Tom laughs loudly, "aha," he tilts his head, "and what should I do to you for calling out my name on," he raises his two fingers and wiggles them " 'accident', sweetheart?"
"Quit being annoying," I raise my brows at him, pursing my lips.
"That means you find me distracting," he retorts victoriously, wiggling his eyebrows next.
"Alright," the director raises her hands in front of both our faces, "that's enough flirting. On your marks."

A/N : I swear this is just a Kiyoomi drabble, the set up just got a tiny bit too long
Ok so imagine the MSBY 4 having to make a 'day in the life of' type vlog for a promotion for an upcoming game, event, or collab. Where everyone can take turns holding the camera and vlog about their individual days and routines, so the whole video would be like a compilation vlog showcasing the team in their purest form.
Shoyo and Koutaro will absolutely just ramble on camera about every little thing that happened to them, often getting distracted when it's their turn with the camera. At times both are just going on about their mornings when either one of them holds the camera while the other 2 members just walk in silence behind them.
Being able to capture moments like Kou forgetting he's supposed to put the camera on the bench to get good enough shots of their practice, so the shots of their practice were from far away with a clear blur to it or when Shoyo accidentally dropped the handheld, picked it back up quickly and immediately apologized to the coach while offering to pay for it despite nothing being actually broken. All caught on camera, blurry figures and a lot of fast camera shakes.
Out of the 2, Kou is the one who most likely forgets the next thing he's going to talk about because he was focused on the current topic. He may be older but that doesn't mean he changed all that much, it's still ok though, the marketing department in charge of the editing said it makes him look all the more approachable.
Meanwhile, Shoyo is the 'golden boy' of this vlog. He's energetic, humble, kind, encouraging and he has just the type of face that screams 'We look forward to your support! I promise we won't let you down!'. He also does the same things Kou does, but he gets visibly flustered when he forgets. Everyone would find that cute, the marketing team just knew it.
He and Kou are on the same basis in terms of the 'pure and lovable one people just can't help but support' but they're on different wavelengths.
Kou appeals to the crowd that just craves this type of whimsy and fast paced energy, someone who forgets to think before he does most things but will be the most visibly sincere about apologizing that you can't help but forgive him.
While Shoyo appeals to a more mellowed out side, much like Kou but he's a bit more aware of his actions and surroundings. He does have his moments though and that paired with his pure hearted nature just makes it sweeter to watch.
On the other hand, you have Atsumu and Kiyoomi. Two very different players with very different appeals on camera, yet able to have some of the best back and forths throughout the vlog.
Atsumu, to no one's surprise, will try to capitalize every part of the screen. Whenever it's his turn to hold the camera, it's his turn. So much happens in such a short amount of time that it felt like he was on a multi-week reality show and not a one day vlog, he would go on and on about himself and his life story that it's hard not to feel like you've known the guy your whole life at that point.
Not to mention the amount of mishaps he tries to shake off is enough for his fans to make an entire compilation video. It's so much fun to see Atsumu trip, stagger that clearly shows he was caught off guard, then going back to vlogging on camera like nothing happened while the others laugh behind him. Other notable things were Kiyoomi 'accidentally' serving a ball straight into the back of Tsumu's head while he was explaining his routine on camera and Atsumu also accidentally dropping the camera but instead of admitting it he just pretends nothing happened.
Too bad the editing crew decided to keep that little moment in the video.
One last tidbit that showed Atsumu being just as caring as the sunshine pair was his 'attempt' at subtly promoting Onigiri Miya throughout his parts, emphasis on attempt. Because he would say things like,
"I like ta' go to Onigiri Miya sometimes, cause' I gotta brag to Samu' about another win ya' know? The food 's also good,"
"Is this an ad for Onigiri Miya?"
"...No"
Yeah, no one believes him. But it's so cute, watching him deny every accusation that he wants to brag about his twin's accomplishments as much as his own. Samu definitely put in extra fatty tuna in Tsumu's onigiri for that, don't tell him that though.
And lastly Kiyoomi, your boyfriend and very captivating volleyball player of the MSBY Black Jackals.
Every time he's on-screen, it's just a whole different energy. Calm and collected with minimal words, a drastic difference from the many life stories you get from the others, Kiyoomi prefers to be as vague and general as possible. However, even if his talking is minimal, he still manages to have some of the funniest shots in the video. Courtesy of the other members helping to fill Kiyoomi's segments.
Though the one moment you can say will stick with you, and him, til the day you probably get married (hopefully, fingers crossed). So, each of the boys have a little clip that encapsulates each of their characters and dynamics with each other. Those moments include Shoyo and Koutaro having a little game of rock-paper-scissors in the corner of the gym, everyone trying to imitate Kiyoomi's bendy wrist, 3/4 of the MSBY 4 getting reprimanded by Meian while the rest just watch with smug looks.
All the best moments that show how close they are in a little montage. The moment you're referring to, is this clip of the Jackal's gym. Empty and quiet, the lights are still on and everything is in its place. There, in the corner on a bench, is Kiyoomi sitting by himself. Munching on some dried plums from this little white packet, just sitting there.
It's not something you can explain but seeing him there alone, not to mention the way it was shot that made him look teeny tiny, just about did it for you. The second that clip was shown, you were gone, sent to the sky never to return.
He just looked so small and alone, it's so sad but it's so funny to you. It gives you the uncontrollable urge to coo at him and kick your feet a little, the b roll of the shot just slowly panning towards his little big figure on that bench minding his own business.
He's so little, so cute, so by himself in that gym and he's so going to be your fiance because you want that clip played in your guys' engagement party as one of your reasons to marry him.

Moving right along. Episode 5
Sad guy is sad and is hallucinating the weirdo.
wait what happened with the teacher and the voice that I assumed was the rival? did I miss something. Did they? oh well
Ok what was that? was that suppose to have come out of his mouth? Cause his mouth didn't move. not even a little. But it seems like what comes after is a continuation.
ok. weirdo apologized but that doesn't seem to help. this is some very weak conflict even by bl standards.
sad boys montage. And I'm not an expert but this song is really not doing it for me. it's not good. Seriously, not even the music? I am in pain.
The guy is sick. Of course weirdo found the guy's house and shows up. At least he brought food. And of course he just walks in.
Ok. I haven't mentioned until now but what is it with this lip tint? It was obviously put in post and it does not look good.
Obligatory messy eater moment. So of course he needs to be fed. And hugged. Did they just make up?
Rival in the house. And he also brought porridge. This isn't awkward at all.
Great moment for weirdo to confess and then run away. And it's the rival's turn. The guy is popular today.
oh the guy thinks he's bad luck for other people. that's sad.
He needs to choose. He chooses weirdo. Every pot or whatever it is.
Ok this time weirdo asks for the kiss. This is improvement.
Episode 6 - oh it's the last one. let's get it over with.
flashback time. I literally just saw this.it's been 10 seconds.
Ok, that was a good kiss. And a long one for kbl.
We're back at the weirdly lit coffee shop. Oh wait I recognize this dude. Isn't he from a strongberry short? which one? I need to look this up later.
Ok. the guy got the job at the coffee shop.that cake looks good. is that cheesecake? it looks like it. like blueberry cheesecake. and now I want blueberries. preferably on top of cheesecake.
More kisses and the sound effects are back. also the silent comedy music. How much longer? wait is the weirdo also working there?
OMG. WHAT WAS THAT VOICE? THIS WAS THE CRINGE TO END ALL CRINGE. Ok, it turns out that they are both weirdos and they are perfect together. I'm sorry but this bit of dialogue needs to be shared.
the guy : today was tough huh? the weirdo: It's very different from when I was a costumer.
Was it? that's so weird. It's just going from one side of the counter to the other. I mean how different can it really be. 🤦♀️
Oh the kbl classic. Boy sleeps on table with one hand under his head and arm stretched.
Another good kiss. oh he was just helping his boyfriend but now he got the job.
Hug from behind my beloved.
They're missing an ingredient and one of them has to go get it. I'm having MODC flashbacks.
of course weirdo wouldn't let him go alone.
What's with the sudden tension, is that the rival? can't be.
AND THAT'S WHERE IT ENDS???? WTF? Is that it? ok, then...
Final thoughts
Strongberry we need to talk. I forgave that whole 20 minute short split in 3 parts. Mostly because those 20 minutes were at least well shot and well acted. And because we've been together for quite a few of these and there was a certain level of trust between us. I'm afraid going forward that will no longer be the case. Of course I'll keep my eyes open and if you decide to drop by I still wanna see you, but it's not the same. I have been burned too many times in this bl world and sadly I need to protect myself from future disappointment. So consider this an adjustment of expectations. I'm getting really good at these so don't worry about me. I'll be fine. I wish you well on all your future endeavours.
If anyone has made it through all that, I thank you. posting these made the whole experience a bit better. also I did not spellcheck or look over anything so sorry if there are mistakes. 💜💜💜
Edit: previous posts in the series if anyone is interested. E1 E2 E3&4

Through the Canopy of Our Memories
Ch. 1 of “My Sunshine” [Treech TBoSaS x reader]
Warnings: cursing, war, violence, uhhh your dads an asshole. Not physically abusive. But he's an asshole 😡
It was always a struggle for you to make friends. So when your book was taken out of your hands by some other kids, you just resigned to the fact you wouldn't get it back.
"Hey, give it back," a voice said.
You looked up shyly, seeing one of the boys in your class. Dark messy curls, dark eyes that were filled with rage at the moment.
The other kids scoffed, throwing your book down.
"You alright?" He whispered, walking over to you.
You grabbed you book and looked at him with a smile.
"Just dandy... thanks for helpin' me..." you said, noticing him fidgeting with his hands, his foot kicking some dirt near him.
"It's no problem... my names Treech..."
"My names (Y/N)... it's nice to meet you."
The day went on and you two became quick friends. Your only friend. He was a jokester. But quiet, calm, contemplative... and protective.
****
"My Pa says that we might be a target next," you mumbled on your walk to the school with Treech next to you. You had heard your father talking this morning about the bombings, and how the rebels and Capitol had a midway point here in seven to try and kill each other.
"Don't you worry. They'll stay out far, wayyy farther than the lumber yard and our part of the woods... and if they're here in town we'll be ok. Don't worry alright?" He gave you a toothy grin as you reached the school building.
His words made you feel comforted as you entered the classroom. The lecture was dull. And boring. Much like the day outside. You liked the clouds however. Made the sunshine seem even more beautiful when it was out. What wasn't dull and boring were the small pieces of paper, Treech would pass you under the desk. You had to stop yourself from laughing out loud, or risk getting caught.
When it was time for recess, you both ran to the big willow tree near the end of the playground. He grabbed your hand and smiled widely as you raced to it.
"Betcha you can't climb this one," he said with a small grin.
"Betcha I can," you smiled, starting the climb.
Soon you were both sitting on one of the highest tree branches that was sturdy enough for you both to sit on.
A yawn escaped you lips as you lay your head on his shoulder.
"Later tonight... the-"
He didn't get to finish his sentence as all of a sudden you heard kids and teachers screaming. Everyone ran back inside, and you tried to look between the thick leaves of the willow.
You saw smoke from the building next door, and some men with weapons. Rebels. Some men in uniform showed up not long after, going after them, shooting at them. Capitol soldiers.
A teacher cried out that this was a school and there were children to be careful and to leave, but that seemed to make them angry. You didn't see which side did it, but they shot her.
You gasped and started to cry, but Treech was quick to comfort you, trying to calm you down. You two were safe up here. No one should be able to see up into where you two where and besides, your clothing matched the tree almost too well. You always wore green.
Some rebel soldiers came close to the tree and shot up at it. Scare the birds away. Mocking Jays. One bullet scrapped by you, grazing your arm.
You almost scream in fear, and a little pain, but Treech's hand quickly goes over your mouth and he pulls you as close as possible.
With his other hand he puts a finger over his lips, making a shushing motion.
You two spent hours up there, waiting until someone came to say it was ok.
You heard his mom and dad calling for him, and you both quickly climbed down. He got down first and held his arms out for you. You took the short jump, and he caught you grabbing your hand tightly as you ran over to his parents.
His eyes filled with tears as he shouted for his mom.
"(Y/N), Treech! Oh sweethearts, oh goodness, are y'all alright?" His mom ran to the both of you, falling to her knees to hug you both.
"Mama, w-we were in the tree we-we- and then the rebels and the soldiers and we-" he couldn't stop stammering or crying so you gripped onto him tightly.
Your protector.
——
Tears rolled down your cheeks. It has been a week since your dad told you you would be packing up and moving to the capitol.
You told Treech to meet you out in the woods at your guys' spot.
"Hey there sunshine, long time no see," he chirped, using the stupid rhyme you'd come up with as kids as his greeting.
"H-hi lumberjack, did ya get stuck in a t-tree?" You whispered.
The smile immediately dropped from his face.
"Hey? You've been cryin'? Who made you cry I swear I-"
"Treech... Pa said we're movin' to the capitol. I-I should've told you sooner i-I," you stammered as tears rolled down your face.
He wrapped you up in his arms, hugging you tightly.
"When?" He asked. You could tell he was trying not to cry as he would never give you one word answers.
"Two days... two days and we're takin' the first train out... I don't wanna go... I-i-... this is my home. You are my home. I don't wanna go," you sobbed, gripping onto his shirt.
His eyes well up with tears and his voice cracks as he speaks the next words, "Then we are gonna make these last two days the best damn days."
Walking home, hand and hand. Like you'd done all your life. Treech demanded you let him walk you home.
"Mama says I can't let you walk home alone. Says she'll kill me. I believe her."
He had said that so long ago, back when you were little little kids. Yet he still walked you home everyday.
He left you on your porch with a smile and a promise of going out to the lake tomorrow.
Entering the door of your cabin you saw all the things packed up in boxes. You stared at them blankly and curiously. You weren't supposed to pack until tomorrow.
"Ma?" You called out. "Why are all of our things packed?"
"We leave tomorrow. First train in the morning," your father said, coming out of the room.
You shook your head.
"No. Pa, you said I have two more days. Two. No I'm not-"
"You said your goodbyes today. From tomorrow on out you'll be a Capitol girl, and you'll forget all about this... district. You'll forget all about Treech. Everything."
You shook your head, tears falling down your face. You turned around, running out the door.
Your heard your mom screaming out your name, but you ran. Down the dirt roads down the pathways until you reached the familiar cabin. You went around to his window and knocked on it.
It was only a few seconds before he pulled you into his room.
"What... what are you doing here? What's wrong? You're cryin' again..." he mumbled, drying your tears.
"Pa lied. We leave tomorrow. First thing in the morning..."
The next morning, Treech took you down to the train station. You'd stayed overnight with him. Your parents were already waiting.
Treech pulled something out of his pocket and placed it in your hand.
It was a beautiful ring, made out of polished wood. There were small flakes of gold inside it. A small, dainty golden chain was put through the middle. It was obviously much to big for him as of right now.
"Treech, I-.. I can't take this from you it's too fine-"
"It's for you to remember me... and plus, when you come back when we see eachother again, you can give it back."
You took your necklace that had your great grandmother's ring which was in similar fashion to the one he'd given you. It was much to big for you now, so you kept it on the chain. You handed it to him.
"Remember me?"
"Always."
You hugged him tightly, his arms wrapping around you as you cried.
You felt another pair of arms pull me away. You kicked and screamed and begged to have just five more minutes.
Treech grabbed your hand one last time as your father pulled you into the train.
****
It was reaping day and you couldn't believe that your father had made you late. You rush in quietly, seeing Sejanus had save you a seat.
"They already called your name by the way..." he whispered.
Dean Highbottom turned and gave you a questioning look.
"Sorry, I take responsibility for my being late. My father had a meeting and I needed to attend," you whispered apologetically.
He nods and continues on the list.
"You got the boy from district seven-"
You cut Sejanus off before he could finish.
"My Father has been hinting at something all week. And I am not ready to face if he is tellin' the truth..." you mumble.
Sejanus places a comforting hand on your knee.
"I got the boy from district two... used to have class with him," he mumbled.
You placed your hand on top of his, "I'm so sorry..."
After seeing Lucy Gray perform it brought a smile to my face.
"Coriolanus, you've got yourself a beautiful song bird," I whisper after we all stand up.
He turns with a small, fake smile.
"I uh... I have a favor to ask of you," he whispers, leading you out into the hallway.
"To what do I owe the pleasure of you needing my help?" You tease.
While you and Coriolanus had never been 'close', you two knew each other. It was through his cousin that you knew him and his family's situation.
"Cut the act. It's weird not hearing you talk normally," he muttered.
You raised an eyebrow and nodded.
"What do you need?"
"Tomorrow. I'm heading to the train station to meet my tribute. I need her to trust me. I... I need to win. And Highbottom favors you, it's no secret. If I do something stupid and you're doing it too, maybe I'll be forgiven, or let off the hook easier...I know I haven't always been... the nicest to you.... But, please." he looks at you with pleading eyes.
"Alright. I'll see you then."

Word Salad #10
hey hi hey jklfds;ajfklds aaaaa i did a thing aa babababa look!
it ball! 🥺
ok so, i like dabbling with animation a bunch. yesterday I ended up watching a bunch of animation tutorials including One where an animator walks through the process of drawing an animation inbetween...on paper and another one which talks about using timing charts to figure out where a drawing should go.....also on paper!! I understand that like digital vs traditional art each has its own flaws and benefits and whatnot, but what intrigues my brain, personally, is how people were drawing all these super nice well animated shots without the aid or assistance of a computer! and I guess seeing how they explain the process and what they're thinking while they're flipping pages around and eyeballing where the nest line should go, and all this from practice and experience. it gets me thinking like how can this be applied to the software we have today.
i made these on toonsquid on ipad earlier. i think learning timing charts and learning easing in and out helps make animation a bit livelier, and also helped with learning where to draw the inbetweens which i tended to struggle with the most. i think my mindset during all this is just "if people did this on paper over a century ago, i can do this today" and honestly....it's actually a lot simpler than i expected. still time consuming no doubt, but simple.
youtube
also related side tangent, when I first started watching friendship is magic, I found a youtube channel where someone was going through the show and analyzing the animation. I was hooked so hard to these, and it's amazing just how much time and effort the animators would put into the show. after seeing this and also the double rainboom flash puppet tutorials, that led me to spontaneously make this asdflyra parody while I quickly put together a Lyra flash puppet from scratch. currently this video is my most watched animation with currently 21K views aa
youtube
so yeah, thats all i got for now. i'm definitely excited to dabble more with animation stuff down the line now that I'm slowly finding a process that works for me.

supernatural s1e3 dead in the water (w. sera gamble, raelle tucker)
(this is a rewatch, so spoilers abound)
i'd like to present some of my very early reports to someone about watching spn
forgot i was trying to watch this over lunch LOL. backed up drain water is a hard pass for mealtime. god that reminds me of a gross bathtub drain moment with my girl lydia in teen wolf. *shudder*
i get it, the jaws of it all, but also rolling my eyes at the repeated cuts to her ass underwater :p
DEAN You know, Sam, we are allowed to have fun once in a while. DEAN points to WENDY walking away; she's wearing short shorts. DEAN That's fun.
i like how sam shuts him down without a word
SAM Closure? What closure? People don't just disappear, Dean. Other people just stop looking for them. DEAN Something you want to say to me? SAM The trail for Dad. It's getting colder every day. DEAN Exactly. So what are we supposed to do? SAM I don't know. Something. Anything. DEAN You know what? I'm sick of this attitude. You don't think I wanna find Dad as much as you do? SAM Yeah, I know you do, it's just— DEAN I'm the one that's been with him every single day for the past two years, while you've been off to college going to pep rallies. We will find Dad, but until then, we're gonna kill everything bad between here and there. Okay?
again kind of framing dean as being tough but fair and sam being impatient (dare i say bratty) kid who ran away. i don't think i really caught so much that sam wasn't really that invested in finding john specifically, but that it's also about the as-yet-unnamed demon that john's going after having killed jess too, need to get to john to assist the revenge plot. though he does go more sympathetic to john for other reasons when dean goes the opposite direction. but anyway i semi-regularly think about how sam was to be the audience insert-ish, he's who we're supposed to sympathize with more. but i don't think anyone quite anticipated the extent of the jackles-whammy
cheesy rock and this shot, feels like a laundry detergent commercial. ok so the cheesy rock is a netflix special, supposed to be round and round by ratt which isn't completely not-cheesy, but it's better :p
s1e3 daniel hugh kelly as sheriff jake devins / star trek: insurrection (1998) as sojef
ANDREA Must be hard, with your sense of direction, never being able to find your way to a decent pickup line. Enjoy your stay! SAM 'Kids are the best'? You don't even like kids. DEAN I love kids. SAM Name three children that you even know.
sam was very amused by the bad attempt at flirting and her shutting him down. also, how many opportunities does the unattached drifter get to even meet kids, sam? :p anyway the very special episode where we learn dean is actually great with kids (and totally should have the chance to have one in the future)
padalecki with the extra crispy R on "theory", there. also dean doing the sniff test. reminds me of the post with a snippet from one of the novels having an outsider pov saying they're stinky boys :p
Supernatural: Bone Key (Supernatural Series, 3) August 26, 2008 by Keith R.A. DeCandido
lol and somewhat related dean crowding sam and getting his face very close to the laptop
s1e3 / s5e22 swan song
it's fine, everything's fine 🥲
DEAN You know, I'm thinking you can hear me, you just don't want to talk. I don't know exactly what happened to your dad, but I know it was something real bad. I think I know how you feel. When I was your age, I saw something.
oh, dean.
the official website's journal entries for john via wiki
December 4, 1983 [...] Dean still hardly talks. I try to make small talk, or ask him if he wants to throw the baseball around. Anything to make him feel like a normal kid again. He never budges from my side – or from his brother. Every morning when I wake up, Dean is inside the crib, arms wrapped around baby Sam. Like he’s trying to protect him from whatever is out there in the night.
even without ghostly drownings, i am not sticking my hand in the gross backed up drain :S
sam listening to this, see above gif
DEAN You're scared. It's okay. I understand. See, when I was your age, I saw something real bad happen to my mom, and I was scared, too. I didn't feel like talking, just like you. But see, my mom—I know she wanted me to be brave. I think about that every day. And I do my best to be brave. And maybe, your dad wants you to be brave too.
don't personally think that's a great approach with a traumatized kid, the whole being brave thing, but whatever :p
SAM What you said about Mom... you never told me that before. DEAN It's no big deal. Oh God, we're not gonna have to hug or anything, are we?
yes. yes, you are
ghost aside--girl, turn off the water your tub is about to overflow
gross ghost water turning her modesty garment thing green lol and good thing sam's jacked, no more dead moms on his watch
look at those pretty eyeballs
good grief, padalecki. arm veins poppin even back then
SAM Look, we're not gonna save everybody. DEAN I know.
and how the roles will be reversed by s2, but with way more angst
s2e11 playthings
DEAN Yeah, well, you can't save everyone. Even you said that. SAM No, Dean, you don't understand, all right? The more people I save, the more I can change! DEAN Change what? SAM My destiny, Dean!
i feel bad but drunk sammy so emphatically and earnestly saying "my destiny, dean!!!" makes me giggle. so much so that i posted the full clip of it with the same comment lol
LOL sam and his too-small sweatshirt
(script linked via wiki)
interesting, i don't think that's what ended up onscreen. more of feeling a little awkward/pleased about the unexpected kiss. also sam dimpling out in the background watching it go down
also via wiki
Jensen Ackles again cited this episode in the premiere issue of the Official Supernatural Magazine: "...but Dead in the Water holds a special place in my heart, too. I liked what my character had to go through in that episode. It was kind of the first time where I really got a sense of who Dean was, and I was able to peel back some layers. I thought it was a good story that was directed well, so that was definitely one of my favorites. When I had to hold my breath with that kid, holding him in my arms...I hope you've never had to experience something like that. When you're treading water, just getting your mind around having two people below you in the water, pulling you down...that was a really weird sensation that I wasn't prepared for, not to mention I was responsible for the life of this 10-year-old kid that was in my arms. He's supposed to be dead, so he's limp. I'm actually treading water, keeping us both afloat with my left arm. And when they say action and I have to hold my breath, he holds his breath, and I have two divers pulling me down. So after the first time, I kicked the divers loose and I sprung right back out of the water and I'm like, 'Okay, wait a second - I'm going to need a minute for this one.' But we ended up getting the shot, and it was nice."
woof, that sounds scary/unsettling indeed. especially for the kid, yikes
i was also under the jackles-whammy a bit the first time around (i love faces and he has an exceptional face), so i'm paying more attention to what's going on with sam/jared i think this time

Chapter 1 - Prologue
??? POV
Stone is almost never a comfortable place but here it seems a bit more cold. The darkness in the room is crushing. If the area is in fact a room is unknown. Even now the circumstances are unknown despite repeated attempts to comprehend or even understand them. So the only intelligent thing to do was done.
[Retracing how he got here]
School. It's not a fun place for most people but it can have some benefits. Friends are pretty easy to make and, on occasion, you'll learn something useful. Jeru in particular believes that while school does need some changes, most of the hate is from peer pressure and the words of the people. There is probably something wrong with this line of reasoning but he never really followed it. It'd be a waste of time.
What IS important though is learning about the people around you; at least to some extent. Many people have a small habit, on the grand scale of things they don't mean much. Whether it be biting your nails or your eyes wandering. But right now, or right then, there would be two main ones that matter.
First of all, when the teacher hasn't entered the room for a while, students get a bit energetic and fidgety and want to release pent-up energy. That can mean simply reading a book, talking to friends or playing a game. Some games are more violent, like right now. A play fight, an annoying habit. Where a student is knocked into an empty desk and chair. This, as you might expect, results in a good amount of noise. No teacher is coming though, the student at watch by the door is still just watching, although he did jump from the crash.
But the second one is a bit more subtle but somehow more impactful. A sigh, just a sigh. Not a loud one or a really angry one. Just a sigh. There's a moment of silence across the classroom and students near Jeru lean out of the way, allowing for a pretty much straight line to the still standing student. But, as tradition, Jeru lines up his shot. With a flick, an eraser goes flying... and misses by about 10 feet... despite there being a 10 foot distance between the shot and the target.
A few disappointed remarks from the audience, a few laughs and a comment on how he'll get it next time but most of the class stays silent since the real show is about to begin. Jeru gets up from his seat and walks over to his eraser and pockets it. He then walks over to the fighters who are actually still going at it. There are about 4 students participating, 2 on each side, but they all stop to face Jeru.
"Alright, break it up." Jeru starts. "It's Monday, can't we do this another time?"
"Can't you mind you business, today?" One of the fighter comment rudely.
Some exclamatory sentences from the audience, quickly interrupted by Jeru, "Come on guys, that doesn't count as a creative insult," Jeru pauses for a moment, "Or an insult at all."
Some more exclamatory sentences, negative this time, which Jeru rolls his eyes at before looking at someone.
"Hey, Drea!" Jeru says looking at a girl in the back of the classroom, "Do you want a part of this one?"
Drea, along with Jeru, keeps the peace in this class. It gets pretty rowdy sometimes. Drea outranks him in most physical aspects while Jeru usually takes the mental aspects. They're both pretty popular in class, even among the ones they've already beaten. Drea maybe more so due to her... proportions but the popularity might just be in Jeru's imagination. She's usually able to handle herself or his stares at whoever even stares at her in a perverted manner. They remain associates though, never making it a point to go out of they're way to talk to each other. But when a problem arises they don't hesitate to reach out.
"Nah, it's your turn, I'll watch this one." Drea comments, smiling, "I'll do it next time."
"Yes. Next Time. They'll definitely survive for next time"
"Of course. Of course."
After the short joke exchange, Jeru turns back to the fighters, "Ok, just sit back down before a teacher eventually comes." Almost never one to throw the first punch, Jeru offers a chance to surrender. As has happened many time before and as usual the result is the same. The first punch is thrown.
Despite being fairly bulky, Jeru can be pretty quick when he wants to be and he parries the attack away from his head with his right fist by directing the punch past the right side of his head. And as a quick counter he jabs the opponent's solar plexus with his left fist. They stumble back and are knocked down when he punches them in the chest.
"One down, just sit down before anyone gets seriously hurt," Jeru warns, he's pretty relaxed but his fists are still up to parry and counter.
"Tch," the only female fighter there scoffs at him as the knocked down student gets back up. "You wish."
"Yeah, I do wish. Four on one isn't very fair," Jeru prepares for the next attack.
Jeru isn't particularly skilled in combat but he definitely isn't bad at it, at least from an average standpoint. However, he always holds back so that he doesn't injure someone. Anyone he fight does not have to worry about that; while he can't really take many hits head-on, he usually parries and his dark skin makes bruises more difficult to see. That latter isn't taken into account; when Jeru steps into a fight the main goal of his opponents isn't usually to win, it's to have fun so details in the future are not taken into account to some extent they can't really be blamed. They haven't gotten very far after they begin; if they're being honest, Jeru and Drea enjoy stopping them.
Two of the play fight students stand at the left and right of the girl and the student that got back up. They both throw a straight punch with the fists closest to Jeru; Both are parried and Jeru counter with a left hook to the shoulder of the one on his right; followed by a right hook to the one on the left. Jeru claps his fists together twice, making audible knocks, an invitation for his opponents to get closer. The girl throws a kick to Jeru's stomach; however, it is met with a backhand punch to the side of her shin. The student who threw the first punch throws a quicker punch this time which is swatted away with Jeru's forearm.
Jeru steps back as the two outer students close in again. Two more predictable punches and Jeru catches them both by the forearm' gripping them tightly. Jeru would crouch down and pull both of the students to the floor if he did then that would certainly put them out of commission in the fight. But there's a pause as Jeru feels a tug in his head and his vision blurs for a moment but he sees and hears something. The cracking of skulls together as they fall towards the ground. Jeru's vision clears and he snaps right back to reality.
Not at all phased, Jeru throws both of the arms down with a flick of the wrist and delivers a simultaneous backhand punch to the skulls he just saw cracking. Hits from Jeru are never enough to injure someone, he's made sure of that, but can certainly keep someone down; the two students fall down and land on their backs.
"Two opponents left," Jeru punches the air for show. "Would you like to stop here for today?" Jeru offers although the answer is predictable as always.
Another punch is thrown from the male student; it is quickly deflected when Jeru clashes his right forearm into their left and extends his arm sending the student's fist through empty space and to the side. The female student steps forwards with a hook. Jeru leans his head back, dodging the blow before another hook is thrown with the other arm; Jeru steps back to regain momentum as soon as possible. As soon as the next punch was about to be thrown, Jeru slams his fist down on her forearm and performs an uppercut to the girl's solar plexus.
At this point, the male student had regained his footing and attempted to sucker punch Jeru in the side of the head. Jeru bats away the fist with his forearm and uses his other hand to perform another uppercut to the girl's abdomen before switching targets and stepping on the boy's foot hard. He performs an open-palm strike to the child's chin, knocking him down for good. And turns back to the girl, whom is now holding her abdomen and breathing heavily, . Jeru slams her hands away from her stomach. No emotion in his eyes, he winds up for a final uppercut one hit left and this would be over.
And his vision blurs, all the students are one the floor. The girl has a few tears dropping from her eyes in pain and desperately gasping for breath whole clutching her abdomen and the the others are still on the floor in a daze. It would be satisfying, no one would be seriously hurt, at least not after a few weeks. He'd he'd help them up, they'd get back to his seats and behave. But that's not fair, not to him. No one really knows what these students go through each day. They didn't fight with the intent to harm. They didn't hurt him or even land to good blow. (Though he silently acknowledges that he's a fairly big target) In a very real way, he would be placing more force than necessary. So his vision clears and he stops the strike just before it makes contact.
"Good attempt today," he gives a light smile and pats the girl on her shoulder, "Catch your breath slowly, deep breaths. " Jeru would turn to the rest of the class as Drea stands up.
"And that will conclude would conclude our fight. A round of applause for our competitors." The entire class erupts in applause and Jeru gives a small bow before helping the fallen children stand.
[TWO MINUTES LATER]
"You're usually more silent and uptight, what's up today?" Jeru asks Drea with a smile from his seat.
"I don't know, I guess today feels like a special day."
Jeru would slightly smile at this, "I'm glad you're feeling a bit more outspoken, I think."
"You think... Interesting choice of words."
Jeru opens his mouth to speak but then quickly closes his mouth as a sense stops him. His shoulders tense as his heart races suddenly as he suddenly senses something. This had never happened before, being able to visualize the consequences of actions is one thing but now he feels something out of nowhere. It's ridiculous, surely this would have happened before. Nevertheless, he scans the room rapidly to confirm that there was nothing happening
"Woah, what's up?" Drea asks, surprised by the sudden change in attitude.
Nothing. There was nothing. But he still felt something. Jeru attempts to relax and turns to face Drea again, "...I guess nothing I thought I felt something but I guess no one-"
Jeru suddenly jerks up from his chair, almost tripping over his large bag as the room shakes violently as his attention turns to two things, his bag and the class.
"Alright class, you should know the drill but I'll explain it anyways!" Jeru yells over the rumbling walls and screams of the fallen, or in other words the student that were thrown out of their seats, as he crouches down and opens his bag. "Under the tables and hold on to them!"
Jeru quickly pulls out something from his bag; an item very dear to him; a brown teddy bear with red pearl-like stones for eyes. He's had it since he was small and didn't want to risk losing it. He dashed under his desk, crouching and grapples a table leg while holding the bear in his other arm. So this is what he felt, the tremors in the ground were just enough for him to feel. What he felt next, however, was beyond all logic.
Suddenly, his senses are crushing him. Adrenaline rushes through him as every nerve in his body flares with danger forcing him to let go of the table leg. He quickly scrambles from under the table with his bear as soon as he can. He turns around at the table just just in time to see a metric foot of concrete crash into it from above, crushing it completely. Shrapnel from the rubble burst out as Jeru covers his eyes with his free forearm.
Jeru's attention is then shifted to the ceiling. Even while sitting and and shaking, not just because of the earthquake, Jeru can tell the ceiling is very thick, the sky isn't visible even though the ceiling has a giant gaping hole in the ceiling from where the rubble just fell. Even worse, there are cracks almost everywhere on the ceiling as well.
"It doesn't seem very stable," Jeru thinks; an obvious thought but he's still stunned from the near-death experience.
As soon as the thought leaves his mind, another block of rubble falls, smaller but probably still lethal.
"OH sh-" Jeru starts to move away in a random direction beforehand feels a strong tug on his shoulder, dragging him under the table.
"Holy-" Drea is interrupted as more shrapnel explodes from the rubble, "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, thanks." Jeru rubs his forearm, which is bleeding badly from the shrapnel and scrambling around, to prevent it from becoming numb; at the same time he scans the classroom. Screams struggle and fear and rumbling of furniture and debris fill the air. One thing is immediately clear.
"We can't stay here," Jeru and Drea think out loud in sync.
Drea and Jeru lift the table to get a better view of the class and make it easier to be heard. It's difficult to stand but they keep their grip
"Alright class, new drill we'd usually delay this but we don't have time for that. If you have any objections shut up because then you're being dragged out by force! We're going to be running out of this classroom now because the ceiling will not be holding up! If you can help it grab hold something above your heads to avoid instant death, stay together and thank for your co-operation!" Jeru doesn't hesitate. There's no waiting, there's no questioning, there's no room for objection, there's only pure power in his voice to carry over the noise.
Children almost immediately dash out of the room to escape what could be their grave. Unfortunately, their class is the furthest from the door to outside. Children fall down and are stepped over, only to be picked up again to continue the cycle. All things considered, the class emptied out quickly. Jeru and Drea quickly grab their own bags to avoid holding the much heavier tables. Any other day and they'd have said the tables were LIGHTER. Jeru stuff his bear back into the bag, choosing it as a safer place for his item.
"Move forward to prevent traffic jams, I'll make sure that everyone leaves," Jeru tells Drea as they dash out of the door.
Drea responds with a grumble , never one to enjoy being ordered around even situations like this, but she obeys. Fortunately for Jeru, the classrooms were already in the process of clearing out, only needing to stay a bit behind everyone else to double-check the classes. The students that he fought a few minutes ago were warning the students in other classrooms. The classes were all mostly empty by the time Jeru had gotten to them, only needing a few seconds and words to get the remaining students and teachers out. Once Jeru was sure, he was the last person in the school, he ran out, almost.
As soon as he was about five feet from the exit, the entire building crumbled down. He didn't die instantly but was immediately trapped in debris. Every nerve in his body felt the pain, not even get knocked out. Red liquid covered his eye as he tries to conserve his breath. Strangely enough, his bag had opened, dropping the bear on his head.
"Well, I guess it's not that bad..."
Then it all went black. And it stayed black for a good while. Then, there was a single flash of red and there was more dark. There was still rock and there was still pain. But the rock surrounded him a bit more openly.
[The Present]
His body was still in pain, he still didn't know where he was an somehow his senses seemed numbed. But he was still alive. He breathed a sigh, uncertain whether it was fear, relief or uncertainty. He somehow could still see to an extent despite the seeming lack of light but he stood up. He had noticed a single passage way when he had looked around, now he did the only stupid thing but only option he could thing of. He ventured through.

[this is from thursday i just kept forgetting to finish the transcript]
another recorded rant lmao
transcript:
so my devilish little self decided to have one of these little rants again because i like to rant (and because i probably have ADHD) and, um, i'm home alone and this is what i do when i'm home alone, because i don't get to speak, because i don't like speaking, because i don't like interrupting people, being weird, people KNOWING i'm weird, or anything like that. even though my family are well aware of that, i don't want them hearing it.
anyway! i reckon i could probably do a fluttershy voice if i tried.
uhh... what's a thing fluttershy would say?
...
ok, this isn't a thing fluttershy would say. but it's on my mind.
[high pitched fluttershy voice] every day is the same. that's not. fluttershy. [fluttershy voice] every day is the same, wake up, look at the fire in the sky festival, be awesome, brood.
i'm so fucking high right now do you see my eyes? they are brrIIGGHt red. i haven't watched the shadow- i haven't watched the '06 dub in too long to remember this. i like doing this voice. i don't think it sounds like fluttershy but, y'know, it's got a bit of a wobble to it [dave the intern voice] it's more like dave the intern, really. i bruise like a delicate peeeach... [slight giggling]
i do love dave the intern- like, i can't lie, half of his lines are soooo bad... but the other half are absolute gold and i love them.

The Mission
"Mind if I come too? Gotta get everyone together. We need to talk." It was news Auburn was dreading having to break. Even with more time to prepare, telling this to their faces wasn't going to be easy.
The next chapter of my RWBY OC fic Flames of Change. Make sure to see the pinned post for the other chapters in order!
Auburn Vulpes belongs to me.
Jade Meadows, Amber Himmel, and Riley Currant belong to @gruntnuker-rwby
Rin Aozora belongs to @solar-moon-byul
Amber wasn’t sure what to think. Up until this point, it had been an otherwise unremarkable day. Another day at work at Shade Academy trying to stabilize communications between the other two kingdoms that weren’t deemed lost causes. Another day hoping the team at Beacon would make some headway in their repairs. Another day hoping that comforting voice would come through. But another day that it never does. Regardless, she began her walk home, wondering how long the usual song and dance of deciding what to eat for dinner tonight would take. Until she spotted one of her closest friends that she hadn’t seen since Beacon standing on a rooftop with another girl she had never seen before, and both of them looked freshly worse for wear.
“Auburn? Are you ok? You look like you got into an argument with a Beringel,” Amber inquired. The approaching fox faunus was holding her side and sporting a couple of newly acquired bruises. The other girl similarly limped through pain and soreness. Amber couldn't tell if the Beringel had won.
“Hey, where ya headed?” Auburn resolutely dismissed her concern through gritted teeth.
“Um I was just heading back to our apartment now. Jade and Riley are waiting for me.”
“Mind if I come too? Gotta get everyone together. We need to talk.” Auburn had said the same thing while on the roof. It didn't carry the weight of someone who wanted to catch up with a chat over drinks. It sounded more like what someone says when they're about to end a relationship that isn't working anymore.
“Sure? You’re always welcome. We can patch you up while we’re there.” Amber wasn’t sure what to think, but as she clutched onto her cat backpack a little tighter and led the march down the sidewalk, she could feel the anxiety welling in her chest. She wanted to talk with Auburn about nothing in particular like they used to after class. She wanted to rekindle some of the magic that was desperately missing from Beacon. It was a wish she had been pining for more frequently as of late. But, hushed inaudible murmurs from behind nixed her plans for the present moment.
"Who is this girl?" Rin whispered from over Auburn's shoulder.
"That girl we just fought? That's one of her teammates," Auburn said.
"Wait what??" Rin's ears shot straight up in shock. "Does that mean-? Does she know?" Auburn shook her head.
"She has no clue, none of them do. They've been looking for her since the fall. All they know is she disappeared." Rin's ears lowered in sorrow. Sorrow for this girl she hadn't even spoken a word to yet. Her heart broke into more pieces when she realized she and Auburn were about to share the truth they were burdened with.
“Hey Auburn?” Amber’s usual soft-spoken mildness coaxed the two of them out of their respective mindspaces. “Have you… heard from Solomon?”
“No. But I know he’s alright out there. He’s tougher than you first think,” she replied. The optimism didn’t quite connect with Amber.
“I see,” she said solemnly. “What about Dash? Do you have any news on him?”
“You could say that.” Amber turned her head to look back at her for an elaboration, but received none for her troubles. The conversation came to a tense and uneasy halt after that, so Rin tried her best to make small talk with the orange-haired stranger.
“I like your backpack. I kinda have a thing for cats too,” she said with a chuckle. Amber gave her a nod as a genuine thank you, but it did little to ease everyone’s nerves. Again they returned to awkward silence. Rin had to fight back the urge to sigh. “Is it much farther? I’m not exactly built for this heat.”
“Just around the block,” Amber said. As promised, only half a block later Amber led the Leash duo into an apartment complex. They went through the lobby, up two flights of stairs, then stopping at the first door on the right, room 302. One turn of the key later and the three of them were met with an arctic blast. The apartment was kept like an igloo, the polar opposite to the desert heat outside. Rin tilted her head back and outstretched her arms in relief like she had just reached the promised land after a hero’s long, arduous journey. Posters of bands and shows garnished the walls. One corner of the living room was marked by a pile of laundry, while another had a duffel bag of hockey gear complete with a full set of goalie pads. On the coffee table sat a stack of comic books next to a bong that was recently used, as evident by the faint aroma in the air.
“Look decent, guys. We have guests,” Amber called out while dropping her backpack on the couch. Stepping into the room from the girls’ left first was Team JASR’s leader Jade Meadows. Her stark black hair, free from her beanies for once, fell messily down the shoulders of her hallmark purple hoodie.
“Hey Auburn, about time you came to visit. Finally gonna show us all your hangout spots?” Jade smiled as she passed by to make a quick pit stop at the fridge before flopping into a bean bag next to the couch.
“Auburn’s here? She doesn’t count for looking decent,” another female voice came in from the other room. Auburn smirked to herself; she knew full well “decent” in this household just meant wearing pants. The other voice sauntered in to reveal a taller woman with maroon hair in a hockey jersey that didn’t quite stretch down enough to show a slip of short gym shorts on underneath. Riley Currant gave her old friend a fist bump before looking past her curiously. “Although your friend does. Sup.”
“Oh yeah, right. Everyone, this is Rin. Rin, meet Amber, Jade, and Riley. We were all close back at Beacon,” Auburn said.
“Nice to meet all of ya,” Rin said while flashing a peace sign. Each of the JASR girls gave her their own version of pleasantries. Rin tried to buck up with a chipper smile, but it took considerably more effort than normal. She really didn't want to just open up with this truth bomb that she and Auburn were loaded with. She scanned around the room for something to break the ice with, again trying to drum up light banter. And in her infinite wisdom, she settled on the bong.
"Sooooooo who can take the biggest hit?" she asked with a snicker to cover up
"Sienna," all three answered in unison with a soft yet heavy, almost mournfully reminiscent chuckle. Well that didn't work.
"It's not even close," Jade added.
"Hey I can give her a run for her money," Riley said before her gaze was magnetized downward. After a dragging moment, she willed herself upward to face their new and probably confused visitor. "Sorry, Sienna's our fourth, and my girlfriend. We… haven't seen her for a while though."
"Have you had any luck finding her? Any leads?" Auburn asked. Maybe they already knew. Maybe she didn't have to be the herald of terrible news. However, the silence that followed spoke volumes, as the magnet on the floor tugged at Riley once again.
"I haven't had time to look with all the tech stuff keeping me busy," Amber filled the quiet void.
"I don't even know where to begin looking. I miss her but… where do I even start?" Jade spoke up next.
"I've been doing everything I could, but Jade's right. I just… wish I knew she was alright. That she's alive and not hurt so I can bring her home." Riley sighed. "I know she's still out there though. She's too stubborn to go down." Auburn folded her arms and leaned on the wall behind her. How was she supposed to this? She was never the type to keep secrets. The truth was always quicker in her mind, so why waste time? It’s gonna hurt no matter what, so rip the band-aid off. But, that had never been harder to live by than this very moment. How was she supposed to say the right words when her heart was in her throat. How was she supposed to even look them in the eyes?
“You miss her too, don’t you Auburn?” Jade said. “It’s not like we’re the only ones who lost a friend, you two were really close. Not to mention Dash. I’m worried about him too. I know he was an ass but I always felt kinda bad for him. I don’t think he was all bad.”
“Yeah…” she trailed off again. She was mentally cursing at herself to say something. “Kinda hard to miss her right now though.”
“What does that mean?” Riley said, recoiling in indignation. The question hung in the air for an uncomfortable amount of time for her liking. Likewise, Amber also had her head tilted in puzzlement and Jade cocked an eyebrow.
“Hard to miss what you just saw.” It was barely a strained croak past Auburn’s lips. Rin was backing her Leash leader, eyes darting between each JASR member, examining for any kind of reaction.
“Wait. You saw her??” Jade exclaimed first.
“So she’s alive!” Amber said next, echoing the relief coming from her green-eyed teammate.
“Oh thank gods!” Emotion surged through Riley to the point where her body couldn’t contain it. Rushing to Auburn, she pulled the boxer into a tight hug, barely able to stand on her own. “Thank you, Auburn! Wait, that must mean she’s in Vacuo! Where is she? I gotta see her.” Auburn’s reddish fox tail tucked between her legs, accidentally brushing past Riley’s knee. “Ohhh I get it, it’s like a surprise right? She’s waiting jump in here from out the hallway.” Once Riley released the hug, she still had Auburn by the shoulders. Then she could read her expression. It was dejection. Each agonizing second the beam on the hockey star’s face slowly, painfully slowly, diminished. “Auburn. Why isn’t she with you?”
“Does she not wanna see us?” Amber asked sheepishly.
“We didn’t do anything wrong, did we?” Jade said. Auburn sighed heavily, so heavy it felt like it could drop out of her lungs and through the floor.
“No you didn’t. She did. She… joined the White Fang.” The grip on Auburn’s shoulders loosened bit by tiny bit, but Riley’s arms still remained extended outward, frozen beside slight trembling. Her expression was also motionless, nothing more than a blank, dead stare that pierced right through Auburn. “I’m… really sorry you had to learn this way.”
“I am too. Not the first impression I wanted to make with you guys,” Rin tacked on. Jade wanted to get up and console Riley, but all she could do was sink further into the clutches of her bean bag. Amber clung to a pillow from the sofa, wrapping it around her chest like it was a bulletproof vest. All of her concern, however, was bouncing back and forth between her friends.
“W…what?” Riley said. Shock, bewilderment, disgust, utter devastation. It’s like she couldn’t compute. It didn’t add up. “What? No that’s not- why? Why would she leave us? Leave me? I-is it something I did? Why would she go back to the Fang?”
“Back?” Rin’s husky ears twitched.
“She and her brother both joined when they were kids back when it was peaceful. Their parents didn’t want them to, but they did it to try and help their family. And help themselves,” Jade swooped in to answer to save Riley the trouble.
“You kidding me? So she has a track record of this?” Auburn said.
"But she wouldn't go back to them! Not the way they are now!" said Riley, trying to grasp any tatter of hope. "Are you absolutely sure it was her?"
"Do you really think I wouldn't be able to tell if it was her? There aren't many people with pierced fox ears and two different colored eyes that spit flames. She went back to-"
"There's no way, there has to be more to the story. I can't believe you."
"Really? Still think I'm lying?" In a huff of exasperation, Auburn lifted her shirt to show newly acquired battle scars, scratches and burns from an all too familiar pair of fiery claws. She then pulled out the two pieces that remained of her trusted whip. What once had helped Auburn win countless duels while training was now indistinguishable from scrap metal. Finally with the fortitude gathered to rise from her seat, Jade peered over Riley's shoulder and clasped a hand over her mouth.
"No way. Hang on I got a med kit here, I can help take care of that," she said, but Auburn waved her off. Meanwhile, Riley took one of the junked halves into her hand and
"A-anyone could've done this. That doesn't mean-"
"Riley, c'mon," Auburn fired back.
"No! I can't believe you! I… I just can't!" Riley turned around and stormed back into the room she originally came in from, slamming the door shut behind her. The only noise that accompanied the thick fog of tension were crashing sounds of things being thrown around carrying through the wall from the other room. None were feeling it more than Jade and Amber, both of them glued back to their seats.
“Should I go check on her?” Amber said softly to Jade.
“Not right now. She’s gonna need a minute.” A louder thud suddenly snapped all four of them to eye the wall. “A long one.” No one had anything else to say. The aura of defeat and devastation was too deafening. They were left to just wallow in silence. Rin had her hands firmly stuffed in the pockets of her bomber jacket. Auburn held her fists behind her back to prevent them from lashing out at the nearest wall. Amber kept her attention up and chest out as if her posture was the only thing keeping the floodgates of tears from pouring out, while Jade just looked… tired. So very tired.
“This… feels really personal. Do I need to leave?” Rin posed to the crowd. She wasn’t sure if it was more for her sake or theirs at this point.
“No you’re fine,” said Jade. “This isn’t your fault it’s just-” The JASR leader was cut off by the sudden swinging open of that same door with it meeting the wall with a sharp smack. Now dressed in actual pants, Riley flew between the two sides of the discussion and made a beeline for the pile of hockey equipment. Even then, the slight glisten from her cheeks displayed to everyone she was not as fortunate in holding back the tears. The first thing she went for was a stick that clearly stood out from the rest as something more than just a tool for a pickup game on the rink. Then, she knelt down and, unceremoniously tossing some pads and dirty jerseys aside, fished out a custom mask and placed it on the top of her head.
“What are you doing?” Rin decided to be the one to inquire.
“You said you just saw Sienna. That means she’s still gotta be in the city. I’m going to bring her home. Even if I gotta scour every single block and every single street corner and I gotta fucking kick the ass of every White Fang member including hers to do it!” With a small twitch of her wrists, the stick transformed, with the taped up blade of the stick being replaced by the gleaming blade of a scythe.
“Alone? Riley wait we can come with you,” Amber interjected.
“You’ve got no leads to go off of, let’s think about this,” Jade tried to plead reason next.
“C’mon Riley, you know this ain’t gonna help anything. All it’s gonna do is tire you out and make you feel worse, so just sit your ass down.” Auburn’s bluntness certainly wasn’t helping, but nothing else was working either. Riley clearly wasn’t listening. Without another word, with the scythe resting on her shoulder, she exited through the front door and disappeared from view once the door shut with a loud bang. Auburn clenched her fists and shook her head. Rin went to put a hand on her shoulder but it was quickly pushed away.
“Great fuckin idea! Let’s just act stupid and start a parade down the street looking like Jason Voorhees just subscribed to the NHL Network!” The only thing stopping her from putting a hole in the nearest sheet of drywall was the fact that this was not her apartment.
“She’s just hurt, Auburn,” Amber said sympathetically to try and soothe her.
“Hurt? This is how we deal with hurt now? We’re all hurt! I’m hurting! First Ospreay, now this?? I’ve had to hear these headlines for weeks now. I’ve been worried sick he hasn’t been brought home yet!” She tried to take a deep breath, but it did little to temper her intensity, only the volume in her voice. “He wasn’t given the choice to leave like Sienna.”
“I know, Auburn. Trust me, I know. I don’t like it either. I wish she handled it differently too. But we all deal with trauma differently,” Jade said, hanging on to any resolve she can.
“We all got trauma! That doesn’t give any of us an excuse to run away and become a mercenary!” Auburn yelled.
“I’m not excusing it! Everyone’s trauma is different! Sienna’s is different from yours, which is different from mine, which is different from hers!” She pointed to Rin, chaining her back into a debate she was praying to stay out of.
“I’m sorry but I kinda agree with Auburn here. It doesn’t sit well with me that she left. I know the huntsman teams aren’t forever, but to me that means you stick together with those people through thick and thin,” Rin chimed in. “And the redhead? Not exactly helping. She acts like she’s the only one missing someone when she’s not…”
“It doesn’t sit well with me that she’s the reason Bubblegum is a prisoner of war right now!” Auburn fired, using her longtime nickname for Dash.
“That’s not true, it’s just a coincidence,” Jade said, still trying to pacify the resident punch-happy fox.
“Then why was she bragging to me about it?! Why did she tell me she was picked because she personally knew Dash?!” If it was possible for someone’s heart to sink past rock bottom, it was evident from their faces that Amber and Jade had achieved it. The color drained from their faces. Auburn’s ears instantly slicked back apologetically and she winced. “I-I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to just drop it on you like that.”
“She… she really told you that?” Jade’s voice was nothing more than a quivering, heartbreaking whisper. “Oh fuck.”
“D-do we tell Riley?” The tears Amber had miraculously suppressed for this long to stream down her face, leaving visible glowing trails down her cheeks before burying her face into a pillow. Auburn raised a hand toward the tech expert, but she knew it would be futile to try and get her to stop crying. Nor should she try. Amber badly needed this release. They all did, but Jade was still holding stern. Months of worrying bottled up just to come crashing down with something barely a half step above the worst possible outcome. She was still alive, but to be in the White Fang doing their biggest dirty work jobs so far out of reach from them.
“Sorry, guys. Really I am. I understand if you need some time,” Auburn said while rubbing her arm before nudging Rin with her elbow. “C’mon, Snowdog. Let’s go find her.”
“Which one? The flaming fox or the star goalie?”
“Whoever we find first.”
By the time Riley had left, only the final breaths of light from dusk watched over her. That was a few hours ago, and night had long made itself cozy within Vacuo by this point. Certain neighborhoods in the kingdom that were already sketchy during the day became downright treacherous in the dark. But, Auburn knew them too well to care, to the point of sending Rin to split up to cover more ground. It was unclear if it was confidence or determination or sheer rage that motivated her to walk these streets so worry-free. But nonetheless, she passed Sunshine Estates, The Lanes, anywhere that looked like it could house a White Fang hideout, anywhere that looked like it could remotely capture Riley’s attention. But, there was no sign of anything. Rin hadn’t called, so it was unlikely she was having any luck either. No gang would’ve dared messing with Riley so long as she was lugging that scythe around. Maybe she went home. Maybe her experience mirrored Auburn’s right now so she decided to call it a night.
As Auburn decided to circle back home, she whipped out her phone to text Rin to do the same if she hadn’t already. Before she could message Jade next to ask if Riley returned home, she noticed something while passing a public playground. A lone figure barely discernable through the darkness sat at the base of a slide slumped forward with their hands covering their face. Auburn passed the gate and tiptoed closer, and she did the sobbing grew louder and louder. Then, Auburn laid eyes on the hockey stick sat at her feet, and the goalie mask leaning against one of ther thighs. Riley choked back a sob with an ugly gasp.
“Auburn,” she started despite her not saying a word or noticing that Riley saw her approach, “everyone always said I was the strong one. They looked at us and thought I was the stability, I was the rock. Sienna would always agree. But it’s wrong, it’s all wrong.” Auburn was a little grateful her tear-glazed eyes were fixated on her mask. She couldn’t bear to look her in the eyes right now. “I’m nothing without her. I need her back.” Auburn wanted to tell her how she was connected to the Ospreays’ kidnappings. She wanted to tell her that the Sienna from Beacon, the stoner chaos monster that would stuff her dinner plate with nothing but ice cream and would let loose pigeons during classes for the hell of it, was gone. But she couldn’t. Not right now.
“I getcha. It was bad enough wanting to do everything in my power to get Bubblegum back. I thought there’d be some kind of ransom paid by now and he’d be back with his family. I want him back too. But I’ve had to be strong about it. You say you’re not the strong one, but you’re the one still here, still fighting for your relationship.”
“No no no, I’m not, I’m not the strong one.” Riley was emphatically shaking her head before Auburn even finished before repeating, “I need her back.”
“I do too, she’s my partner in fox crime, but-”
“Do you know how long it took Alex to convince her to give Beacon a shot? Months of trying to get her to take the entrance exams. He told me he hoped it would be both of their tickets out of their shitty childhood and onto something better. I had hoped that Beacon would give her security in her life that she needed and it would never get ripped away. And I was wrong…”
“Yeah, but that doesn’t mean she gets to respond like this,” Auburn said.
“I’m not saying she’s right. But I know she’s scared and alone. She needs help. I am going to get her back. Even though I don’t have any inkling of what the first step of doing that is.” Part of Auburn’s brain couldn’t fathom why she was more worried for a girl who abandoned her than a friend who was forcibly taken from his home. It was enraging having to bottle those feelings up, but the other part of her brain knew exactly what she was going through, and condolence didn’t even begin to describe. However, after a moment of contemplation, her eyes widened and her ears perked with an idea. Maybe this was the push needed to get both of their friends back.
“I may have an idea,” she said.
“You do??” Riley finally looked up at her fellow huntress in training like she was the last bastion against hopelessness.
“I know someone we can talk to. It’s a complete shot in the dark but it’s better than anything else I got. You ever been to the Scarlet Heart?”
“That bar on Carmine Street?” Riley said after a pause with slight confusion on what that had to do with anything. “No, never been. Why?”
“Go home for the night. Get off this playground and be with Jade and Amber. They need you bad right now and you need them. We’ll meet there tomorrow. Just get some rest for me tonight, ok?” Auburn plunked a hand on Riley’s shoulder before the latter suddenly sprung up and wrapped her in a tight hug. She buried her face in Auburn’s shoulder, her tears staining and running down her leather jacket.
“Thank you for even trying. Thank you thank you thank you,” Riley said softly. After a moment to collect herself, Auburn softly returned the embrace for a few moments before letting go.
“We’re gonna get them back. Dash and Sienna both,” she said. Not much else was exchanged between the two as Riley picked up her things and Auburn escorted her home. Auburn wasn’t absolutely confident that they were going to get Dash out of the White Fang’s control in one piece, or that Sienna would even want to come home if they found her. She wasn’t sure how, or if she was even wanted to see Sienna, but she knew that’s what Riley needed to hear. And she needed to hear it too. Deep down, she knew it. They were going to get their friends back.

CW: female bodied reader, reader wears a skirt, reader's nickname is Princess (used by multiple characters), public sex and I mean real public, exhibitionism, degradation, dirty talk, vaginal penetration, creampie (seriously be safe a wrap it), reader orgasm
2.1k words
"Now it's time for amateur hour," some kid announced.
S had been much more frequented recently with all kinds of younger kids wanting in on the big races. That lead to once a week amateur hour. Where those who weren't as versed as others could still get in on some of the action and get their names out in the community.
"The amateurs are lining up, you don't wanna be late to the start," Cherry teased.
You snorted, "Come on, I could smoke those losers any day."
"I hear there's a new kid who is really good in this one," Joe chimed in.
The three of you had come to see some of the newcomers. Joe was right. There was a rumor going around the community that there was a young kid who would give even the best of the best a run for their money. It intrigued you all, which was probably why you all ended up here together.
"They're getting started now," Joe observed. "You guys wanna move down the track?"
"Sounds like a good idea to me," you beamed.
Cherry sighed, following behind as you and Joe made the walk through the crowd, "I suppose."
Thankfully, Joe parted the sea of people in front of you all. There weren't many people who didn't move, so the walk down to a more secluded spot was pretty quick and painless.
"Damn, it's more crowded here than usual," Joe groaned.
"Well, there possibly is some more excitement than usual this time," Cherry reminded.
"Come on, Joe," you cooed up at him. "You know you can push your way to the front, can't you?"
Your feigned puppy eyes made his features go soft before showing irritation.
"Fine," he grumbled.
Joe went to push his way through the crowd with you close behind. However, you were stopped rather abruptly.
Cherry's hand gripped tight against your hip and he lowered himself to growl in your ear, "Better watch it, princess."
You shivered at his tone.
His voice was low and demanding. He meant every word he was saying. It would be in your best interest to listen to him, but where's the fun in that?
"Joe, wait up," you called after him, dragging Cherry behind you towards him.
Joe did a pretty good job at getting you all to the front. You stood in front of Cherry who was able to easily see over you. There was a huge rock next to you which allowed you to lean on since you were standing. Joe stood on the opposite side of you as the rock. You all had a very good view of the track and should be able to see the racers coming and going for a while.
"So, Joe, how's work going?" you asked.
You leaned over the railing as you listened to Joe droll on and on about his work. He talked about customers and new recipes and anything else he could think of. While you had no real interest in Joe, it was very remarkable how much passion he had for his job.
You felt a quick pinch to your ass and yelped a bit.
"You alright?" Joe asked.
Cherry looked down at you, "Yes, Princess, are you ok?"
Oh, he was such a cheeky little shit.
"Yeah, I'm fine," you waved them off. "I thought I felt a bug on me."
You shot Cherry a look when Joe wasn't paying attention.
You see, the two of you had been seeing each other in secret for a while now. It wasn't for any particular reason other than to preserve your personal lives. No one had any idea with how well the two of you hid things.
Usually, because of wanting to keep things private, you both would hold back on things like PDA or paying special attention to one another. Which just gave you the opportunity to tease Cherry by flirting with Joe every once in a while.
"I warned you to watch it," Cherry spoke down in your ear.
You glared at him over your shoulder, "You should be more careful. We are out in public."
"Oh, please," Cherry chuckled. "You think that will stop me from stuffing your pretty little cunt with my cock?"
His words sent chills down your spine and a flush to your cheeks.
"There they are!" you heard Reki call.
Of course. Just in time to see you flustered.
"Hey, guys," Reki greeted.
You gave a small smile and wave to them, pretending to watch for the racers.
"Is everything alright, Princess?" Langa asked.
"Fine," you waved them off.
"Are you sure?" Cherry asked. "You seem like something might be wrong."
You could see the smirk on his lips reaching his eyes. He was thankful in these moments that he was wearing a mask. It helped keep his true expression covered, but you knew what he was hiding.
"Seriously, guys, I'm fine," you reassured.
They all gave you skeptical looks, but returned their attention back to the race.
Large screens flashed before you all showcasing the different racers. Someone with a mic talked about where they all were and what was going on. It was exciting, even though they weren't at the top.
"What do you say we have a little fun," Cherry suggested.
You looked over your shoulder at him skeptically, then moved your gaze back to the rest of your friends. Everyone had their attention on the race, thankfully.
"Here?" you questioned him.
His hand trailed up your skirt and over the soft skin of your ass, right over where he had pinched before. He squeezed a bit, but you were more prepared this time and didn't alert the rest.
You leaned over the small railing in front of you. To anyone else around, it just looked like you were trying to get a better look at the screen. Cherry took the opportunity to press his finger against your bare cunt.
"No panties," he lowly chuckled. "Bold choice, don't you think?"
"What are you two whispering about over there?" Joe chimed towards you and Cherry.
"We were just talking about the spot we're going to get you in the next amateur race," Cherry smirked.
"Oh, shut up," Joe retorted, turning his attention back to the race.
You giggled, "Good one."
Cherry pressed one of his long and skilled fingers into you suddenly causing you to let out a low whimper.
You internally thanked yourself for your outfit choice of the day. Cherry was easily able to hide his hands under your skirt on the opposite side of the crowd. The no panties was just an added touch of ease today... though, this was the last thing you thought would happen today.
His fingers curved within you to caress your g-spot just right. Your legs threatened to give out from under you. You choked down a moan. Damn, why was he so good at this?
"Hey, you can see them up on the hill," Reki called out to everyone.
The crowd seemed to press in a bit more.
"Perfect," you hear Cherry smirk.
He had something planned, and you were at his mercy.
His finger left you, causing you to let out a quiet whine. However, it was quickly replaced with his cock prodding at your entrance.
You sucked in a sharp breath.
"Are you sure you're alright?" Langa asked placing a hand on your shoulder.
"Fine," you managed.
Cherry saw you going to speak more and moved his cock slowly between your folds, going straight through to your clit.
"I-oh," you started and were cut off by Cherry's actions. "Shit, sorry. I thought one of th-the racers was-was in trouble."
Langa looked at you skeptically.
"Maybe you should go sit down," Reki suggested.
"No-no, I'm fine, really," you reassured again.
It was impossibly hard to concentrate on their words. Cherry continued to slowly and barely move his hips causing the tip of his cock to repeatedly brush against your clit.
Without much warning, he pulled his hips back and pressed himself fully into you.
You bit your bottom lip so hard, you swore you drew blood. It was the only action that kept you from letting out a moan. Cherry always felt so good inside of you. He fit within you perfectly and hit all the right spots with ease.
It was all you could do to hold yourself up on the railing and try not to let yourself jerk too much as Cherry thrust in and out of you. His hips were barely noticeably bucking into you. Still, he was long and easily pressed the tip of his cock against your cervix.
"Here they come," you faintly heard someone call.
Skaters went flying past you, but you weren't paying attention. You felt the cool air from them going by cool your very flushed face.
"Come on, I bet we can make it down to the bottom before they get there," Reki called out as he was already running off.
"Hey, you two coming?" Joe asked, lingering behind the others.
Cherry looked down at you, "I think we might just stay here and take a minute."
You were so thankful that he was so willing to cover for the both of you right now. You weren't sure that you could form words as his cock stilled within you and only moved slightly as he shifted, effectively grinding his hips into yours.
"Ok, I'll see you two down there," Joe beamed.
It was a moment where the two of you stayed like that before Cherry began moving his hips again.
"Everyone's gone now, Princess," he cooed in your ear.
"Thank-ahhh," you were cut off by a quick snap of his hips back into you.
"Look at you," he snarled as he continued snapping his hips into yours with brute force. "Who do you think you are coming out here in this short of a skirt with no panties on?"
"I-I-I'm-fuck, s-sorr-sorry," you managed.
Each thrust had you gripping the railing harder and pressing yourself back into him.
He scoffed, "Such a slut. Flirting with that idiot, and right in front of me. Have you no shame?"
"No, I'm just a slut," you moaned out.
"Of course you are," he teased. "Only a slut would be taking my cock like this. Everyone was just so close. Even now, anyone could come around the corner. I'm sure there are some racers left."
You let out a beautiful moan.
He flipped you around, so you were leaning with your back against the railing. His hands gripped at the back of your thighs and lifted you. He lined his cock back up with your cunt and slid back in. He began thrusting again.
Your legs were pressed so tight to your chest, as you were suspended and completely at his mercy.
He scoffed again, "Look at how disgusting you are. Taking me out in the open for anyone to see."
"Please, I'm gonna cum," you panted out.
You could hear the slaps of his balls against your ass. His gaze was so stern on you. He moved his mask down and kissed you once.
His skilled fingers trailed down to your clit. He pinched and circled it pushing you over the edge.
"That's right, cum all over me," he instructed.
You were trying to hold back, but when he gave you the go ahead, you let go. You felt your legs shake uncontrollably and your cunt spasmed around him.
He let out a low growl as he looked down to see the white rim you left around the base of his cock. With just a few more pumps, he leaned over you and filled you with his own release.
There was a moment where he just stayed leaned over you. He lifted himself off of you and kissed you again sweetly. His cock pulled out of you, while also pulling some of his release from you.
"Well, that's something I never get tired of seeing," he smirked down at the sight.
His fingers pressed the mix of your releases back into you. You moaned at the overstimulation he was causing you as his fingers curled upwards into your most sensitive spot.
"Hm, think you can keep that there?" he asked.
"I can try," you managed out.
His fingers retreated and he helped you back to your feet.
Immediately, you felt the thick liquids dripping down your thigh.
"Shit," you huffed.
Cherry chuckled, "I guess you're just going to have to face everyone like that."
"You ass," you spat.
"Come on, we've got a race to finish watching," he spoke, helping you walk down the hill.
You rolled your eyes, "Can we at least stop and try to get me a little cleaned up?"
"Why?" he shrugged. "I think you look beautiful."
"Yeah, well I would like to not have to explain the liquids rolling down my leg."
"Oh, now you have a problem with being so forward in public?"
"Shut up."

Draken, Chifuyu, Mitsuya, the Kawata twins and Kazutora in:
When they see you with your ex.
Disclaimer: E/N means Ex's name. The ex changes gender for each one to be more exclusive I'm sorry if it feels confusing. Kazutora's has mild angst but otherwise this is really sfw.
🌟 Draken
☆ He'd kinda crashed Mikey and Emma's day out. You'd told him you had something to do this weekend so what else was he supposed to do with his free time? The three of them had stopped to eat on the outdoor patio at a nice restaurant and while Emma and Mikey chatted away about something school related. Draken sat quietly sipping his tea.
☆ You'd been kinda weird when he'd asked why the two of you couldn't hang out today. You didn't even tell him what it was you were doing instead. And you always told him literally everything about your life. Sometimes unprompted.
• "Hey, isn't that Name?" Emma's voice suddenly caught his attention.
• "Who's the guy?" Mikey questioned in between bites of his food.
☆ Draken's head shot in the direction Emma had pointed in. Sure enough there you were, talking with a guy who was about the same height as Draken. Weirdly enough Draken felt like he'd seen this guy somewhere before.
• "Is that?.. E/N?"
☆ Draken squinted still staring at the two of you talking. You didn't exactly look happy but you and your ex were standing way too close. He felt a little pang in his heart.
• "Maybe she just.." Emma cut herself off. Your arm came up to wrap around your ex's neck. Pulling him in for a hug which he just as soon reciprocated.
• "Let's just go." Draken said and Emma seemed to immediately agree. As soon as Draken and Emma squeezed back into the open doors of the restaurant Mikey hightailed it in the opposite direction.
• "Dammit Mikey!"
• "Mikey!" Emma called but it was definitely too late for that.
☆ Mikey ran up behind you tapping your shoulder as Emma and Draken made their way down to the scene that was now forming.
• "Are you cheating on Ken chin?" Mikey questioned with zero hesitation. His face stern and his shoulders bared.
• "Mikey.." You said
• "I would've preferred to do this later." Draken grit. Though Mikey didn't even spare him a glance.
• "This is.. your new boyfriend right?" E/N asked
• "Name." Emma began "I know you wouldn't cheat on Draken.."
☆ You sighed putting some space between Mikey who looked two seconds away from punching someone and your ex whose confusion seemed to grow the longer this went on.
• "I'm not, I would never.." You sighed before continuing on. "He's dating my friend now and since we had some bad blood between us.. I figured I should try to get along with him since he's staying in my life. But I'm so sorry Ken Ken, I should've told you yesterday when you asked."
☆ Mikey stepped to the side as you held out your hand for Draken to take. He wasted no time pulling you into his arms, pressing a kiss to the top of your forehead.
• "Don't ever do this again."
• "Go out with my ex without explaining myself? Or get caught going out with my ex without explaining myself?"
• "All of it." Mikey interjected, hands placed in his pocket but his normal smile was starting to reappear.
• "Go home you two. I'm going to spend the rest of the afternoon with these two."
• "Oh? Is it because you're worried something will happen?" You asked Draken laced your finger tips slipping your hand into his pocket.
• "I was never worried, I just wanted to spend time with you." He explained
☆ Definitely should've just invited him in the first place because within a couple hours your ex and Draken have become better friends than the two of you were supposed to be.
🌟 Chifuyu
☆ Him and Takemichi decided to spend the afternoon in Chifuyu's favorite manga shop since sitting at home had become tiresome.
☆ Takemichi had organized a small pile of books around his body like a nest while Chifuyu just searched the aisles aimlessly. He didn't have a book in mind before coming here so he figured he'd pick one out from his favorite section once they got there.
• "Hey Chifuyu?" Takemichi looked up as Chifuyu flipped through one book while he held another in his hand.
• "I can't buy both of these. Takemichi which one do you think is better?"
• "Isn't that Name?" Takemichi pointed over the stack of books on his left sure enough just outside the aisle was you with a girl chatting away.
• "Who's the girl Name's talking with?" Takemichi asked looking up at Chifuyu, though Chifuyu had already ducked his way behind the bookshelf peering out of the aisle at the current scenario.
• "What the hell are you doing?" He asked coming over.
• "That's Name's ex."
• Takemichi fell in line next to Chifuyu peering over his head, "I didn't know Name dated girls too.."
• "Yeah.. it's not a big deal.." Chifuyu said as the two of you giggled about something a couple feet away.
• "If it's not a big deal why are we hiding?"
• "Shh!" Chifuyu ducked back as you and your ex walked a little ways away. "Come on let's follow them."
• "Why don't we just go talk to them?" Takemichi followed reluctantly.
• "I don't want Name to think I came here because I was stalking-"
☆ Just as Chifuyu had made it to the next aisle he tripped over a snag in the carpet causing an oblivious Takemichi to bump into him. A loud oof from both of them alerting you and your ex of their presence.
• "Chi?" You called annndd now you were coming over. "Hey Chi, what are you doing here?"
• "This is my favorite manga place." Chifuyu answered with a grunt, stepping into the aisle.
• "I know.. I just thought you and Takemichi would be at your place."
• "What's going on?.. This is what you were busy with?" He gestured between the two of you.
• "Chi." You stepped forward and Chifuyu took one step back. "You know how me and, E/N are childhood best friends and how my grandmother is sick right now? My grandmother is basically a second mother to her so she invited me out to take my mind and her's off things, She suggested we come in here and I said ok but it wasn't right of me to not tell you, I'm sorry baby."
☆ Chifuyu looked between you and your ex his eyes slowly beginning to soften.
• "I'm not mad love. It was just weird you don't normally do underhanded things like this." He pulled you into his chest for a hug and you wrapped your arms around his waist.
• "You should come with us." E/N said pointing to Chifuyu and Takemichi. "Name won't stop talking about how wonderful you are as a boyfriend anyway."
☆ A bright pink flutters over both you and Chifuyu's cheeks as Takemichi snickers behind you both.
• "Next time you can bring Hina and we can make this into an outing." Chifuyu said, poking Takemichi in his side with his elbow before wrapping his arm around your midsection.
☆ You guys probably end up staying in the store for a couple more hours honestly because if there's anything you and Chifuyu have in common it's your love for manga.
🌟 Mitsuya
☆ He'd been running errands for his mother all morning so by the time he reached the supermarket he was completely exhausted. He pushed his shopping cart through the aisles with a long sigh, checking off items as he went.
☆ He rounded the last corner glad that his day was nearly over and already thinking about what he was going to prepare for dinner when the sound of your voice caught his attention.
☆ His first assumption was that he was so tired he was imagining it but the airy ring of your laugh soon validated his suspicions. You'd told him you were hanging out with friends today after all.
☆ He grabbed the last thing on his list deciding to go say hi. He wheeled the cart directly into the next aisle walking up as you and a person he didn't recognize were having a chat with an elderly woman.
• "You two are so cute together." The woman gestured with a small smile.
• "Oh.. no we're exes and friends." E/N explained
• "Aw I'm sorry things didn't work out for you two." The woman nodded
☆ You opened your mouth to respond but Mitsuya's warm gaze caught your attention first.
• "Suya, hey!" You greeted, walking over to greet your boyfriend with a small hug.
• "That's the actual boyfriend." Your ex explained to the woman.
• "This is the friend you told me about yesterday?" Mitsuya asked looking at your ex with a blank expression.
☆ The tension in the aisle could be sliced with a knife and the lady from before quickly walked away to another side of the store.
• "We are just friends now I promise. There's nothing going on between us and they're having a party tonight that's why we're here." You gestured to your ex who awkwardly waved back. "I was going to invite you later so that you could sneak out when Luna and Mana are asleep."
• Mitsuya nodded his expression softening as he reached up to cup your cheek, "I wish you had just explained that earlier, next time just tell me I won't be angry."
• "I will, I promise." You gave him a quick peck which he reciprocated. "I'm going to head with Suya but I'll see you at the party later?" You asked turning to your ex.
• "Yeah, I'll see you then." They replied as they left.
☆ And yeah sure Mitsuya said he was cool with it but you two ended up skipping the party and after dinner you both stayed in bed all night.. (Do with that what you will. 🙃)
🌟 Nahoya/Smiley
☆ You'd only been dating Nahoya for a month and everyday you two met up at the same place after school.
☆ Sometimes (like today) he'd grab Souya/Angry and head out to meet you. Today the three of you were just supposed to grab a quick bite to eat before heading to the Toman meeting.
☆ The second the two of them had stopped their bikes Souya pointed you out where you were holding a box and talking to some stranger.
• "Who's that guy?" Nahoya's grin tightened as he watched the way the guy yapped away while you just silently listened.
• "He looks like somebody." Souya pondered for a second before his gaze fell on his brother. "I recognize his face he was in some picture on Name's wall."
☆ Nahoya didn't wait another second to storm over to the situation Souya trotting along behind with his teeth grit.
• "What the hell is this?" Nahoya grunted though his smile never wavered. The indent of anger extremely noticeable on his forehead.
• "Hoya, this is E/N he-"
• "E/N as in your ex?" Souya chimed up before you could finish.
• "You invited your ex here when you knew I was coming? What kind of shit are you pulling here Name?"
☆ His smile began to dip at the edges but it was obvious he was trying to keep up his natural facade. His fists clenching at his side, book bag carefully slipped into Souya's arms behind him.
• "I just needed my stuff back, I promise." You tried to explain, shaking the box in your possession for Nahoya to see.
• "I didn't mean to intrude on your-"
• "You shut the fuck up!"
• "Hoya!"
• "So you thought you should invite him on our date? Are you trying to piss me off?"
• You stomped your foot exasperation slowly starting to take over in your face and tone. "Hoya, I didn't invite him! I told him I was here and he's gonna be on vacation for three weeks but I needed my camera back." You hold up the camera that you'd fished from the box, Desperation thick in your voice. "So he decided to drop my stuff off with me and you just happened to get here before he could leave." You rest your fingertips on the bridge of your nose. Glad for the silence that soon arises.
• "I should go." Your ex whispers doing a little scoot around Nahoya who still hadn't completely cooled off.
• "Hey, stop it." Nahoya grips your chin pulling your shaky form closer to himself. "You should've just asked me to get your shit for you."
• You muster a little giggle, sniffling and wiping your face with the back of your hand. "You would've kicked his ass then brought me my stuff."
• "He would've deserved it."
☆ You pull Nahoya closer though he's still a little hesitant to return your affection.
• "Let me make it up to you please? You and Souya." You turn to Souya who's still holding both his and Nahoya's backpacks.
• "You're paying for lunch today." Nahoya replies pulling you into his side. He lowers his voice leaning into your ear as Souya walks ahead to his bike. "And if I ever see that jackass again I'll break his jaw."
🌟 Kazutora
☆ Baji and him had spent the day riding their motorcycles until they decided to take a break not too far away from the shrine where Toman meetings were always held.
☆ They soon found themselves parking their bikes and skipping stones by the riverbed.
• "So, why is it that you're hanging out with me instead of your partner today?" Baji asked as his stone plopped into the water.
• "They said they had something going on." Kazutora replied
• "If I was with someone that gorgeous I'd be willing to go with them but whatever."
• "Maybe you should have someone before you start dishing out relationship advice."
☆ Baji grinned wide throwing a soft punch which Kazutora caught with a snicker pretending to right hook him. It soon lead into a chase with Baji dodging all of Kazutora's playful jabs walking backwards and making sound effects to go along with each swipe of his fists.
☆ Baji grabbed both of Kazutora's fists pushing him back until he nearly tumbled onto his ass. His laugh unbridled in its volume.
• "Come here Kazutora I'll show you how to throw a real punch."
• "What the fuck.." Kazutora's gaze followed two people walking along the path that went just overhead.
☆ Baji's head whipped around to track Kazutora's gaze stopping on the two people walking side by side almost out of sight at this point.
• "Is that-" Kazutora was nearly gone by the time Baji had processed the words. "Hey!" He called out running to catch up but Kazutora had already sprinted to the top of the bank, jogging along to catch up to the people they'd spotted.
• "Name!" His voice boomed closing the distance scarily quick.
☆ You'd stopped dead in your tracks, turning to face the chilling look in your boyfriend's eyes as he stood before you. Baji right behind and practically out of breath.
• "Who is that?" Kazutora pointed
• "Tora.. baby don't freak out.."
☆ His earring clinked against his face as he stared into your eyes.
• "Are you leaving me now? Is that it?"
• "Tora!" You huff, putting your hands out.
• "Kazutora.." Baji called out already sensing the weight of the situation.
• "She's my ex but listen-"
• "So you are cheating on me.." Kazutora's jaw locks and when you reach out for his sleeves with pleas of his name he just slaps your arms away.
☆ When he leaves he runs for his bike. His leg anchored over the side already gripping the handle bars tightly when Baji's loud scream of his name rips through the air.
☆ He's got his bike out of park but just as he starts to drive away you dash out from nowhere and yank his handle bar.
• "Dammit Tora listen to me!!" You beg, he can clearly see the beginnings of tears stinging the corners of your eyes as you hold onto the hand still clutching his handlebars.
• "What could you possibly say? That it didn't mean anything? That you love me?!"
• "Yes! I do love you! You mean everything to me! I needed to be with E/N today because her mom went missing a couple days ago! The woman that took me in and loved me all my life is out there somewhere and no one knows anything about it so dammit Kazutora if you love me even half as much as I love you, don't leave me right now!"
☆ You latched onto his jacket letting your loud sobs fill the now quiet air.
• "You told me.. You love me.." His whispered tone barely reaches your ears as you continue to choke on your own tears.
• "I.. love you.. Tora.." You hiccuped
☆ His arms wrapped gently around your waist, face deep in the crook of your neck as you slowly began to relax.
• "I'm sorry." You felt him tremble as he held you closer than he ever had before. "I love you.." He reciprocated. "I'm here.."
🌟 Souya/Angry
☆ Souya tended to listen more than you realized. Like when you go on and on about a band you absolutely adore to the point where he stays up until almost 12 am to snag tickets for the two of you to go see them on the weekend. And this was that weekend.
☆ He'd been nearly bursting with excitement over it and now he could finally surprise you with the news after holding it in for a solid week.
☆ He parked his bike across the street from your house, reaching into his jacket pocket for the umpteenth time to check that both tickets were there. After a few more minutes of preparing, blowing into his hand to check his breath, smoothing his sweaty hands over his jacket. He rung your doorbell. The heel of his toe tapping against the floor as he waited for you to answer.
☆ When the door finally opened a person much taller than Souya answered.
• "Yup." The person pursed their lips one hand on the tool belt wrapped around their waist. For a second Souya pondered if he'd somehow rung the wrong doorbell until he looked at the number in plain view embellished on your door front.
• "Who are you?" It definitely came off more aggressive thanks to Angry's naturally violent resting face.
☆ Before the person could answer you came bounding down the stairs, pulling the door open wider.
• "Why the hell would you answer my door?" You spit at the person standing beside you as you pull your boyfriend inside, shutting the door behind him.
• "I think you mean thank you."
• "Fuck off." You tell the person who was already walking back to the kitchen.
☆ The naturally angry imprint on Souya's face seems to deepen as he makes eye contact with you.
• "I wish you had called." You sighed, tugging Souya into the living room by his jacket sleeves.
• "Who the hell is that?"
• "You remember how I said my ex is in the remodeling business.."
• "That's your ex?"
• "Yes but listen! If I work with him I can get a discount, I just want that wall taken out to open up the space a bit more." You gesture to the kitchen where your ex is currently examining the wall. "I would've told you sooner but between my friend coaxing me into doing this remodel and that drunk night with you and Nahoya it was hard to find time."
☆ Souya dipped his hands into his pockets, staring blankly into the distance. His brow furrowed deeper than normal and his foot tapped against the hardwood.
• "If you're uncomfortable with this I'll get someone else.."
• "Get someone else."
• "Wait before you answer." You scoot closer to your still ticked boyfriend and he makes eye contact with you again. "This kind of remodel normally costs way more than the bargain I'm getting with them."
☆ Souya blinked blankly at you.
• "Sou plllleeeeaaasssee, you can be here whenever they are." You gesture to the kitchen.
• "No I can't I have a job."
• "Fine.. I'll call you the entire time." He sighed with a roll of his eyes. And you rubbed both his arms with a long groan of his name. "How about this, I bring you and them to dinner. Once you see how disinterested I am you might be more for it."
• "Not worried about you, I'm worried about them." His forehead rubbed against yours and you giggled.
• "I promise I only love you."
• "Would you love me more if I got tickets to your favorite band for today?"
• "I'm never leaving you." You proclaim wrapping your arms tightly around Souya's midsection. "That's a proposal by the way we're engaged now. I don't make the rules."
• "E/N I'm engaged now!" You yell towards the kitchen.
• "I heard, congrats!" They yelled back
☆ Souya just scoffed but his cheeks bloomed into the deepest shade of red as he walked upstairs with you to your bedroom to help you pick out an outfit for the concert.

"C'mon, big boy! Nat is gonna be here soon." You called down the hall, Bucky walking out of his bedroom as he pulled his shirt on. "I'm coming, calm down." He sighed. "Well, don't you look handsome." You smiled, smoothing your hands over his shoulders, feeling the muscles tense a little under your touch. "Oh, stop flirting."
"Nevermind, you look horrible." You teased, Bucky rolling his eyes at you as he got in the fridge for a water. "If I was to set you up with one of my friends- would you go?"
"Nope."
Though a small wave of relief washed over him, he couldn't stop himself from asking- "why not?"
"I have plenty of fun- by myself." You winked, a low chuckle pulling from Bucky's chest as he took a quick drink from the bottle. "Well, any guy who gets to date you is lucky, dollface."
You jutted your bottom lip out, reaching your hands out to hold his jaw. "Awe, Bucky. So sweet, gimme some sugar." You giggled, planting a kiss on his stubbled cheek.
Bucky looked at the tinted gloss painted on your lips and groaned. "Oh, c'mon, get it off. Sam teases me enough." He frowned. "Ok, ok. Lemme see." You laughed, pulling him down closer by the back of his neck.
"Hey!" He whined when you left another one on the opposite cheek. "Now, you match. Want some more?" You teased, Bucky trying to wiggle away as you wrapped your arms around his sturdy waist. "No, no more sugar."
"Oh, all of the sugar. C'mere, big boy." You giggled, making kissy noises at him as his face went beet red, laughter bubbling from his chest. "Stop! We gotta- we gotta go."
🍒 🍒 🍒 🍒 🍒 🍒
Bucky tried to keep his eyes from staring a hole into you the entire time you were at the club not far from the apartment. Occasionally glancing over Steve's shoulder to where you were enjoying yourself with Natasha, the hem of your dress lifting every so often to give a peek at the lacy underwear underneath.
"You listenin', Buck?" The blonde chuckled, snapping his fingers in front of Bucky to get his attention again. "Hmm? Yeah, I heard ya'." Bucky lied.
"Obviously not. You're staring so hard that it's getting creepy." Steve teased. "Is that drool?" Sam quipped, making Bucky mock laughter and roll his eyes as he lifted the glass bottle to his lips.
He had been waiting for a half an hour for a reason to ditch, seeing you shaking your head at a man who just stepped closer when Natasha walked away was the perfect reason.
"There goes Bucky, swooping in to save the day." He shot a look to Sam over his shoulder, snaking his arms around your waist and leaning to nuzzle his face in the crook of your neck.
Your face heated up at the sudden action, but the look on the strangers face as he backed away made you give a soft smile and place your hands on the metal forearm that was around your waist.
"Ready to leave? I'm bored." He muttered as he pulled you away from the crowd and the lingering man, facial hair scratching at your skin as he talked. "My hero." You laughed, pulling out of his grip and waving to the group of friends who sat at the bar.
"Unspoken rule number three, it is my job as your roommate to save you from unwanted situations." Bucky smiled, pushing open the door to hold it for you. "What a gentleman."
🍒 🍒 🍒 🍒 🍒 🍒
3am hit while Bucky was scrolling his phone. The weekly notification dropping down at the top of his screen.
This time, there were two new videos; Bucky's eyes going wide when he saw the title on the second one.
For the best tipper- Soldat107
He hesitated at first to click it, his hand slipping into the waistband of his briefs to grip himself when the video loaded.
The swirling in the pit of his stomach started quicker than he had expected. Bucky rutting his hips into his hand as his top teeth bit down into his lip to make sure you didn't hear him this time and eyes fluttering shut as he spilled over the edge.
Once he was done, his phone and headphones were thrown to the side. Being quick to clean the mess on his hand and stomach before leaving his room to go shower.
🍒 🍒 🍒 🍒 🍒 🍒
The next morning, Bucky went on his run with Sam and Steve after breakfast. The main topic being how he hadn't asked you on a date yet.
"Just ask her and stop being a whimp about it." Sam said, nudging his shoulder as they walked up the stairs of the apartment building. "She's my roommate, that's what makes it more difficult."
"That should make it easier, Buck. You already know almost everything about each other, there wouldn't be any awkward silences if you took her out." Steve pointed, as if Bucky hadn't already weighed the pros and cons.
"It's also very convenient that her room is across the hall from yours." Sam nodded, making Bucky roll his eyes as he opened the door to his apartment.
You looked over your shoulder from washing the dishes to where he was walking in, athletic shorts low on his hips and hair tied up messily. "It was my turn to do those." Bucky said with a pointed look. "I got bored." You shrugged, feeling the heat from his form when he stood behind you.
"When most people get bored, they watch tv." He turned the water off and you turned to face him. "How was your run?" You asked, leaning back against the counter. "Annoying and sweaty."
You nodded, letting your eyes wander down to his sweat slicked chest. The shine making his muscular torso seem even more defined. "I can tell."
Bucky hummed in response and went to pull you in for a hug, your hands pressing to his chest to keep him away as a mischievous smile tugged his lips. "Get off, Bucky. I don't want a sweaty hug." You warned with a laugh. "You know you like seeing me sweaty."
Your face warmed and you curled your fingers under his to try to pry them from your waist. "Go- take a shower." You giggled, Bucky pouting as he backed away to go down the hall.
You could hear Bucky rustling around in his room as you put the dishes away, a call of your name making you walk into his view as he walked back into the hall.
"Have you seen my sweats?" He sighed. "Which ones?"
"Dark grey." You didn't let yourself look down as he adjusted the waistband of his briefs. "Check my closet if they're not in yours."
Bucky nodded and opened your bedroom door, going to looked through the folded clothes on the top shelf of your closet.
Not finding them there, he went to the trunk that was at the foot of your bed, thinking you kept more clothes in it as he opened it.
He choked on air when he saw the familiar sight of a masquerade mask along with the same backdrop the camgirl he watched and different sets of lingerie neatly placed inside.
"Did you find it?" Bucky heard your voice say as you got closer. "I fuckin' found something, cherry." He huffed, everything in him wanting him to just shut the trunk and forget he ever saw it.
You rolled your eyes and waved his hand away to shut it, folding your arms across your chest. "That's an invasion of privacy, Buck."
"I'm canceling my subscription." Bucky said, looking up at the ceiling. "You're what now?" You said, cocking your head to the side. Everything not clicking in place for you yet.
"I'm canceling." He repeated, looking down at you. The fact that Bucky had seen your videos settling in. "You- oh, god." You bit back a laugh, covering your mouth with your hand.
"Yep. Remember the best tipper? Me. Now, I'm gonna go take a very cold shower. Don't look at me for awhile, I'm embarrassed." Bucky turned to leave the room, you following right behind him.
"Bucky, please, don't make this weird." You whined, reaching to grab the metal of his wrist in your hand.
He stopped and let out a long breath through his nose, running a hand down his face. "Four months. You've lived here four months and I didn't know I watched your videos every weekend? I feel-" A visible shudder passed through him, a guilty feeling settling deep in his stomach along with a little bit of curiosity. "Lemme see it."
"See what?" You asked, letting go of his wrist. "The cherry. I wanna see it." He shrugged.
You rolled your eyes and turned so your back was to him before lifting the hem of your dress, pulling the waistband of your underwear down enough for him to see the tattoo.
Bucky swallowed thickly and moved his hands to cover himself, tearing his gaze away from your backside. "Yeah. That made it worse. I'm gonna go shower now."
🍒 🍒 🍒 🍒 🍒 🍒
A few days passed, Bucky hadn't mentioned anything else about what he had found in your room. Everything stayed normal, except the increase in lingering looks you'd catch.
And the curiosity of what it was like to film yourself doing such personal things.
"I wanna do it." Bucky blurted out as you handed him a beer and the bowl of popcorn. "Do what?" You asked, taking your spot next to him on the couch and grabbing the remote from the coffee table. "The thing you do."
You looked over at him with an amused smile. "You'd make good money doing it." You said, Bucky's eyebrows raising. "You think?"
"Well, obviously. Look at you." You breathed a laugh, gesturing a hand towards him. His tongue swiped across his bottom lip, thinking over what he was about to say. "Do you ever think about... having a guest?"
You cocked an eyebrow at him, silently debating what he had said. Bucky had the build something like what you would see on a statue in a museum, a handsome face and delightful personality to match. You'd be lying if you said you didn't have some type of attraction towards him.
"You offering, Buck?"

Hii hope you're having a great week! If you feel like writing it i was thinking of a steve h x wheeler!reader, where they're having a dinner at the wheeler's and reader is nervous thinking it's going to be awkward and all but it actually goes pretty well.
LOVELY MESS — STEVE HARRINGTON
WARNINGS: anxiety, language??
PAIRING: Steve Harrington x GN! Wheeler! Reader
PSYCHOIE RADIO: What You Like — Wallows
L: Tysm for requesting anon!! This is actually something I’ve been wanting to write for a long ass time, and I’m so sorry this is a month late, I was In a rut for the third time this year, but finally, here it is!!
“Don’t worry, it’s going to be okay!” The kind-hearted guy, leaned towards you by the metal, old lockers, while you switched your books, shaking your head side to side, “Come on, whatever happened to Nance and I is over.”
Your eyes shifted to meet Steve Harrington’s, your 6-month boyfriend, who was also your younger sister’s ex boyfriend, Nancy Wheeler. Although she may have been younger, Nancy had it all, popularity, the smarts, and the looks, except you, the shadowed sister. Even your brother Mike Wheeler knew that Nance had outshined you, still being younger than you. That terribly tumbled apart as soon as Nancy confessed that she no longer loved Steve, telling him it was all bullshit, the words that hurt Steve those past nights.
You somehow got ahold of him, to get over the breakup as the two of you fought for the fate of the world along the group of kids, Mike’s friends, bringing you guys closer, leading up to confessing their feelings for one another.
“Steve I’d think it would be a bad idea.”
”How would it be a bad idea if we never tried it?” Steve cheekily grins, placing a warm kiss on your thin lips, smiling between them. You pushed his chest away with your hands, making him whine, “One more kiss come on! Or else we’ll have to go to the dinner!!”
You placed a notebook to block his wildly handsome face from kissing you again, giggling hysterically, “No, that’s my final answer.”
Steve had always been so fond about your family, the Wheelers, he knew Mike due to the previous events with the Mind Flayer and has met your mom when he was together with Nancy. But you still think it’d be awkward, you were going to bring your boyfriend, not your friend, nor Nancy’s boyfriend, but yours.
In denial, you always tried to not touch the subject, scared of it going wrong. As you saw Steve pout and cross his arms like a child, he mumbled, “I promised it’ll be ok, just let me go for once.”
”You already went to their house!” You squeaked as your palm hit his shoulder, slapping him playfully.
Steve raises his eyebrows, straightening his face while he sternly stares at you, “Yeah but I went as Nancy’s boyfriend, not yours right? So give me a shot honey.”
“I don’t know,” You started pacing along the hallway to get to class, knowing you were five minutes late, the weirdest thoughts flooding in. What if your parents don’t like the fact you’re with Steve? What if they prefer Nancy with him instead? What if-
Clearing his throat and whispering in your ear, Steve mumbled jokingly, “I know you’re overthinking Y/N.”
“Stop it!” You move a strand of hair from your face, clutching your books tighter, strolling away from him to the hallway of lockers, “What if it gets awkward? What if my parents don’t like the fact you’re with me!?”
”Can you at least think about it?” He shouts from afar, leaving his arms in the air, trying to get your attention while you tried your best to ignore him.
Soon enough, a teacher peeped their head out of the corresponding room towards the hallway for the source of disruption to find Steve’s tall figure continuing to get your attention, “Harrington! Off to class, you’re late!”
”Right! I’m sorry m’am,” Steve rapidly nods, zooming away to his Basketball period, where he knew for sure he’d get in trouble with the couch for being late. Still awaiting for his proposal to be answered with his loving mess, for a one of a kind dinner with your family, the Wheelers.
”Mike I swear to god you better not embarrass me!” You rush down the rug stairs, fixing your hair as you tucked it behind your ear, chasing your younger brother down. After Steve’s persuasion driving you nuts for that same day you both talked, you finally gave in to bring him over on a Thursday night under one condition, he wasn’t allowed to embarrass you or himself, just to keep things proper, and not awkward between your family.
As the days grew closer to the date of the dinner, the more anxious you got to the point you couldn’t bare to see Steve, keeping you and your thoughts to yourself for the past weeks. It was simple, a simple gathering with your family and boyfriend.
What could go wrong?
Everything and anything. From your parents making you look like a fool to be going out with your sister’s ex to Steve making a terrible impression on them although he’s met them already. You weren’t so logical, you were scared, not nervous but scared. What if this whole dinner would be an awkward disaster full of embarrassment and inconvenience?
But here you were, getting ready for the small event taking place in your home, chasing your brother to shut him up due to his witty comments. Now shoving your little sister Holly softly on the side to clear Mike’s path, he taunted, “Well I’m not the one kissing the pillow thinking it’s Steve! Mwah mwah!”
”Thats not true, Mike!”
You tried to reach to stop Mike from speeding through the kitchen but before you could make any other move, Mrs. Wheeler scolds at you two, “No running inside the house!”
”Sorry mom!” Both you and Mike loudly shout, slowing down your pace, suddenly catching up to Mike by dragging the collar of his blue striped polo.
As he squealed in pain and angst, you tackle him to the couch, tickling his sides on the soft brown cushion, “I got you! Now say it! Surrender!”
”Never!” His high-pitched giggled filled the cozy room, squirming under you, trying to free from your grip. Another wave of the tingles on his ribs were coming back, your fingers moving on his back.
You continued to make him laugh hysterically, lowering your voice to mimicking a villain both of you once watched on tv during a weekend night, “You must proclaim yourself as a liar! Or ye shall face the consequences!”
“I will not surrender-“
Instantly after the sharing of laughter being held by the siblings, you heard the rhythmic chime from the doorbell, Holly was making a fuss about her lack of apple juice in her sippy cup as Nancy tried to leave the porcelain plates on the clothed table in the dining room. You and Mike frantically got up from the couch after your mother was pulling you away apart, “Hey, he’s here!”
Shit.
You knew for a fact your loved one was here, an awful feel of unease aroused, making you tense unlike the past few moments before you heard the doorbell. Steve Harrington was here, at your door, for dinner with your family.
Gulping nervously, you hurried to get the door, but surprisingly Mrs. Wheeler got there before you could stand up from the comfortable couch, your heart pacing at an unstoppable speed, ruffling your top. Mrs. Wheeler opened the wooden door to find that same familiar, attractive face, both Mike and you peering on the side, roses in his hands.
”Mrs. Wheeler!” Steve kindly greets, handing her the bouquet of roses at the door, making her receive them with a soft grin.
“Hey there Steve- oh!” Mrs. Wheeler yelps when Mike harshly shoved you next to your mother, bumping shoulders with her, goofily grinning in front of him.
”Hi Steve,” You childly mimicked, but realizing the fool you made yourself look like, regretting your stupid action you made in front of your boyfriend.
As your mom signaled the brunette to walk inside the welcoming room, Steve lightly pecked your cheek, slightly bringing you closer to himself from the side as both of you solemnly walked inside the warm room. Watching the two of you, Mike made smooching and kissing noises behind you, kicking him in the shin, squeaks of pain coming out of your younger brother’s mouth in order for him to shut up.
And right as you saw Nancy slightly wave at him while walking off rapidly to find Holly for dinnertime, a sense of insecurity rushed in you. You leisurely shifted away from him, his eyes darting towards you knowing that something was up while Mrs. Wheeler rushed to the kitchen for the home cooked meal. Only 5 minutes in of the gathering and you were an anxious mess already, quietly panicking if anything else so terrible would happen, your fingers tapping the side of your thighs where they stood upon you.
“You know you can sit down right?” A gentle voice, your sister’s voice perked in the silence telling Steve. Nancy holding the little one in her arms, moved to sit Holly down as Mike lounged in the wooden chair almost staring you down jokingly to see your funny expressions.
Steve whips his head around, chuckling softly, pulling out a chair for you to sit in, “Yeah, this is why this is a dinner Nancy. You know, for sitting down and eating?”
A silence formed between the five of you, later on creating an awkward melody of chuckles being shared between Nancy and Steve, then turning away from each other, leaving this pit in your stomach at such uncomfortable state. Thoughts. Terrible thoughts rolled in meanwhile you sat which Steve offered to give you, Mike’s eyes widening while drinking the glass of milk being on the top of the table to try his best not to giggle.
Afterwards, Mrs. Wheeler interrupted the awfully weird silence with a fake, cheerful tone you knew wouldn’t be her usual self, carrying in the large plate with roasted chicken. She strictly ushered you and Nancy to bring in the rest of the side dishes from the kitchen out to the dining room as Mike and Steve chatted a little before your father strolled in to greet your boyfriend.
“Chill out Y/N,” Nancy places her thin hand on your left arm calmly, you turned your head around you understand what she was saying, “You seem tense, it’s okay.”
You scoffed at her comment jokingly, placing the bowl of greens onto the table when Nancy put the dish with fresh mashed potatoes as well. All of you took a seat, ready to feast, Steve clearing his throat to speak up, “Thank you so much Mrs. Wheeler for inviting me and for this wonderful dinner.”
“No problem Steve, ever since we met you with Nancy, you’ve been a great guy,” Your mother softly smiled, but changed her expressions once you shot your eyes towards her, “Anyways, enjoy the meal.”
Mumbles of thank yous and your welcomes being shared between one another, beginning to eat the delicious food for the evening. Shakily, you grabbed onto the silver fork, stabbing it into the chicken to eat it, the sound of plates moving around and cups being sipped, you decided to speak up, “Steve has been hanging out with Mike lately, they’re getting alone quite well.”
Your mother’s eyes widened, “Oh really? That seems like fun, having an older brother figure must be pretty cool knowing that Mike has grown up with a house full of girls right?”
Caught off guard from his meal, Mike hesitantly nodded while he falsely smiled, peering over to Steve for an agreement, “Yeah, Mike might be a little trouble with the rest of the boys, but he’s fun to be with at times.”
”A little trouble,” Your brother repeated jokingly under his breath, applying a mischievous look on his face, leaning back onto his chair, “I don’t think Y/N and Steve studying their human anatomy is-“
Before any reactions were being made from the regrettable comment your annoying brother made, Nancy slapped her hand across his mouth to shut up before he said anymore weird nonsense about you and your significant other. Steve worriedly glanced towards you with a beet red tinted face, almost wishing your mom hadn’t heard him while you stuffed your face trying to hide your expression.
“Michael what was that?” Mrs. Wheeler shot up a look towards your brother, laying her fork down with a confused face, “Human anatomy?”
In a stuttering mess, you tried to bring up some lame excuse to cover up along with Steve, you were sick to your core, knowing the stupidity that Mike claimed to be. It could be that your parents would say something terrible, you were flushed in multiple shades of red. You knew this dinner was even more terrible than expected, now your brother was making you and Steve look like a couple of fools, your hands sweating. Nancy chimed in to help between your idiotic stumbling, “It was this code name Mike used with the party and them.”
“Mmm yeah totally!” Steve wearily smiled, readjusting the hem of his red blouse he wore, watching you nod in response, a wave of relief washing inside you, “It’s the most oblivious things that are the most secretive, right Mike?”
Both you and Nancy darted a death glare towards the black-haired boy, who nodded rapidly under the threat of the siblings, “Yeah, Dustin was the one who made it up.”
”Kids these days,” Your father, Mr. Wheeler mumbles, slicing his part of the chicken in half with the butter knife as he shook his head.
Mrs. Wheeler humbly agreed, you mouthed a silent “thank you” towards Nancy’s direction, giving you a kind thumbs up later to kick Mike’s shin under the table, a quiet yelp escaping his lips for the second time. Later, feeling your hands gripping ever so tightly onto Steve’s large ones, being placed on your shaky leg.
Nancy brought up a conversation about an upcoming school event for the seniors at Hawkins High, Steve being able to catch up on the conversation. The mood was slightly calmer than it were before, things lessened up a bit as your harsh grip softened, feeling more balmy. Your boyfriend smiled, while looking off to your mom and dad who were intrigued by the conversation you were all having. Peace at last, worries washed away, it was okay.
Giggles and words were filled the large home, dessert was already handed out, Steve was on a roll to making your parents life along with your siblings, everything had merrily turned out great except the part where your mother talked about your embarrassing stories when you were little. This wasn’t so bad after all, Steve was definitely correct for once.
“Okay I have one more joke,” Your boyfriend sighed happily after the amount of laughter shared, your cheeks almost hurt from smiling too much. Steve set down his spoon then proceeded, “What did the grape say when they squished it?”
Everyone on the table shrugged, waiting for the hilarious response from him, Mike being close to burst into laughter before he said anything until Steve cleared his throat to answer, “Nothing, it just whined a little, get it?”
Once the joke was heard, your family surrounded the room with laughter, Mrs. Wheeler happily sighed after catching her breath, getting up to take the dessert plates back to the kitchen, picking one up at a time. Meanwhile your father and sister chuckled, you smiled like a freak towards Steve who was sitting next to you, holding your hand.
“See? I told you you shouldn’t have worried about his,” He whispers softly, giving you a light kiss, smiling as well, “You’re a lovely mess.”
You smacked his shoulder, earning a laugh from him, “I know I know, but at least I’m your lovely mess right?”
”Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!” Both Nancy and Mike, your siblings chanted with cheeky smiles plastered on their face, being in front of you and overhearing your conversation. Steve leaned in and shut his eyes to peck your lips, suddenly you placed a napkin in front of you to avoid him, catching him off guard. Such small act brought your siblings to laugh at him, he shook his head playfully, sniggering along. Maybe this wasn’t so bad, this brought all of you together, it was okay, no, better than okay. I guess it was just Steve’s lovely mess.
