Getting better at the oil pastels! ❤️

Did a light marker base as a sketch first. The lines on the 2nd pass were a little too dark but definitely helped with the tag shadow not getting lost in the red. Still learning!

I planned to do one still life a month this year but only made it to 9, Im still proud of myself though!

The still lifes are a fun way for me to explore different traditional art techniques and make something physical i can hold. This year i explored gel plate printing, collage, pastels, and tried out using a smart cutting machine too.

The apples represent the mercy pocket because mercy players are fruity. (Apples are the focal point because the unskilled Pharah player needs a mercy pocket to get above 2k damage.)

The fake sky represents unskilled Pharah players who always need a pocket because they always have like 4729749274 deaths bc of bad positioning. So they aren’t even playing the game hence why the sky is fake.

I put texturing because they always say “Gg EZ 🤓🤓” after their whole team carries them and it makes me mad.

Heh.. IIIII guess you can say I’m Surrealism Samuel 🤓

What are we some kind of Pharahmercy?
