OH MY GOD, OIKAWA WOULD 💯 SLUT SHAME READER FOR WEARING A SKIRT OR SOMETHING SHORT.

He would!!! But like... he doesn't actually believe in it, especially if he's a platonic yandere. He's only saying it to "tease" you or bug you like most brothers do. He'd never compliment you if you ever looking nice, or if he did, it'd be a backhanded compliment. Something like- "that's a nice dress. Too bad you need to wear heels to compensate for your height! Haha, have fun!"

I can see the yandere fan girls actually dressing you up in one of the cute skirts and doing a proper "girly girl" look on you because you mentioned that you were gonna go out on a date (that Oikawa doesn't know about yet and you made the fan girls promise not to tell him because you wanted to see how things would go. In exchange for singing their praises to Oikawa of course, no good deed is free). And maybe they wanted to show you off to Oikawa, let him be impressed by how they take care of you.

They drag you to the gymnasium where he's practicing with the team.

"Tooru-chan!" They call it to him, while you're standing there, arms linked with theirs so that you can't run off.

Oikawa turns towards you, eyes widening ever so slightly at your appearance. You looked beautiful, absolutely adorable.

He walks closer, the fan girls are bubbling in excitement, you are shifting from one foot to another, nervous under his eyes that never leave yours.

"We dressed Y/n up!" One of the girls said cheerfully. "Do you like it?"

Did we a good job, Tooru? They all wondered silently.

Oikawa smiled, and the girls automatically matched his expression, only to turn to confusion as he suddenly began laughing, belly aching, thigh slapping laugh.

He was laughing at you.

"W-what the hell are you wearing!" He said between his laughs, gasping for air.

"I-" you were at a loss for words, immeadiately turning red at his reaction. Did you look bad?

He stopped laughing, slowing down to chuckles as he wiped the tears from his eyes. "Heh, what in the world were you thinking? You looked like someone puked pink on you." He pointed to your skirt and snorted. "And why would you wear a skirt? What are you trying to show off? Your square buff calves? And heels? Wow, I did not know you had chubby ankles." Your eyes welled up with tears, threatening to spill. And the fan girls could sense your humiliation, so they tried to intervene.

The leader of the fan club spoke up. "Tooru, stop joking around. She looks beautiful and you-"

"Was I taking to you?" He cut her off swiftly, glaring at her.

Oikawa walked closer to you until he was right in front of you. He bended his knees a little so he could be face to face with you. His eyes bore into your teary ones and Oikawa didn't smile as his thumb came up to smear the gloss off your lips.

"Pink gloss? Really? You look like an idiot. Change. Now." That was all it took for your tears to start falling as you ran out of the gymnasium.

Oikawa only stared at the gymnasium door that you had just ran out of, as he spoke to fan girls, but to no one in particular.

"Never dress her up like that again. She looked like a slut." He didn't need to say "or else", his fans already knew of the deadly consequences. As he returned to his practice, the girls left the gymnasium, some went to console you, while others went to their room to silently ponder upon your outfit that Oikawa deemed "slutty".

Especially because all of them dressed up like that.

So was it okay for them to look "slutty"? Or did Oikawa not like their style too?

While they went over a existential crisis over their wardrobe, Oikawa was being scolded by Iwazumi for what he said to you. Oikawa didn't bother explaining himself, because he knew what he did was right.

You did not look slutty, but if you showed your skin like that, other guys will get the wrong idea. He knows "locker room talk" the guys have, what they reduce girls to. And he'd rather you he single and insecure by his side eh were he can protect you, than look available and be hurt and heartbroken a million times worse by some scum bag, all while you're away from him.

What Oikawa didn't see was you leaving the house dressed in your comfy clothes (the girls made you change into the sweats that Oikawa had gotten for you, still trying to win his favour) and meeting your date, who proceded to hang his jacket around you when the wind picked up.

Different Friend Types HC's Pt. 1

I wanted to do some platonic friendship hc's so I picked characters that fit certain types of friends. ^-^

💚 The Doting Parent – Makoto Tachibana (Free!)

Makoto is totally the type to fuss and care for you much like a doting parent regardless of how competent you are. He’s always looking out for you and wants to make sure you’re doing well.

If you’re not very good at taking care of yourself, Makoto will step in and help. He already has some experience with his own siblings and Haruka after all, what's one more? He’ll make sure you’re on time for whatever you have to do, he’ll kindly fuss and try to get you to go outside if you don’t get out enough, make sure you're not skipping meals, drinking enough liquids, keep you on task and help you with anything you need to get done. If you’re feeling down or upset about anything, he’s right there with a kind smile and asking what you need from him.

Makoto gets embarrassed if you try to take care of him and if he's unable to take care of himself for whatever reason, he'll constantly apologize for it because he doesn't want to inconvenience you. But when he's able, he'll definitely either get you a thank you gift or return that care two fold. It's not often anybody takes care of him so he appreciates it greatly and will let you know that.

If you're the type to become a dual parent friend with Makoto, you two are gonna be quite the pair. Sometimes you'll both become almost overwhelmed with how much you two take on to help your friends, but you two will always be in sync catching wherever the other falls short. It's a lot of work for sure but you guys easily become an essential core to your friend group and really make it feel like a family. Outside of your friend group though, you and Makoto definitely at least take one day every week to do a spa day or have a chill lazy hangout day together to refresh yourselves.

Mirio is the best cheerleader you’ll ever have in your corner. He's all about bringing out people's greatest potential and any buddy of his is guaranteed to feel supported and self-assured.

Even though Mirio's an overall high energy optimist, he understands that everybody can have different preferences for what they want in encouragement. He also understands that sometimes people just need general support and he's more than willing to provide just that. He'll never push you to do anything you don't want to do or force optimism on you. He just wants you to know he's got your back.

Mirio’s favorite kind of motivation is to hype people up! Compliments and praises left and right, motivational talks all over the place if needed, he’ll make sure you won’t leave without at least some upgrade in your confidence. He’ll even chant his encouragement to you with enough energy for a whole crowd. He believes in you 1000% even if you don’t, and by no means do mistakes or failures mean you’re any less of an amazing person in his eyes because it's all part of the process of progress. You're trying and that's what really matters!

If you’re one of those people that aren’t quite that high energy and have trouble with motivation, he’s got you. He’ll listen to what troubles you and gives calmer words of encouragement. If you need help with doing things that are too overwhelming for you, he’s ready to assist in any way he can to make it easier. If you need a little push to do something that scares you, he’s there to be your safety net and express how proud he is that you had the courage to try. If you feel like you can’t do anything because life is just too hard, he’ll tell you that that’s ok. He’s proud of you for trying to push through because it takes a lot of strength to endure what you’re going through. If you ever need anything, he’ll always be there for you.

💀 Partner in Crime – Guzma (Pokémon)

Guzma’s that type of friend that’s fun to get in trouble with and may or may not be a bad influence on you. Parents hate him lol.

Despite Guzma’s delinquent ways he has a moral compass in there. He wouldn’t go as far as to do anything truly heinous, he’s just here to let loose and have fun. His kind of misfit fun is pranking people (especially assholes), maybe a little vandalizing and stealing things from said assholes, graffiti, trespassing to explore abandoned places, hitting up underground parties or clubs, etc. If there’s anything you haven’t tried that you weren’t sure about or didn’t want to do alone, he’s totally down for it. If anything, he might be the safest person to have around for whatever it is because he always makes sure to look out for you when you guys get up to stuff.

Guzma would never snitch on you for anything, momma didn’t raise no snitch. You won’t realize it until he does this or if you guys start playing with hypotheticals, but Guzma will give himself up or take the blame to protect you if needed. He’s aware that the way he lives isn’t a good lifestyle and he’ll partially blame himself for letting you almost get in trouble. But it hardly gets up to that point because he’s pretty good at getting you guys out of trouble whether it be through clever street smarts or intimidation. Also you know, he's got a whole gang/family to back him up and by extension back you up.

FOR LEGAL REASONS, I DO NOT CONDONE THIS AND IT’S A JOKE-: Assuming you and Guzma are thick as thieves, he’d help you get away with murder. There will be no questions. The less he knows, the better, but you're gonna be handling the majority of taking care of the body. He'll put up with a lot, but the dead gives him the jeebies.

😏 Are Y'all Dating or...? (The Bestie) – Oikawa Tooru (HQ)

Oikawa’s that type of friend to be so close with you that people wonder and ask if you two are dating. The answer is always no…uNLESS…!!

Oikawa wants to do ALL the things with you and you two never truly get tired of each other. There will be many sleepovers, shopping trips, gossip, spa days, trying new things together, road trips. Each of your families and friends will be well acquainted with you two to the point that it’s almost annoying how much you two bring each other up to people. His other good friend Iwa-chan is kind of relieved at first that there’s someone else to take on Oikawa’s antics, but soon realizes that it’s become double trouble for him as a result.

For Oikawa it’s like he’s found his platonic soulmate and he couldn’t imagine his life without you. Which is why he’s also pretty protective of you and becomes suspicious of any newcomers, though he knows how to respect your boundaries and let you live your life how you want. If you have a crush that he gets good enough vibes from, he will hype you up and try to figure out a plan to help you two get together. If anyone hurts you, he will get them back for it in a crafty yet subtle way that will simultaneously make it obvious to only that person that he’s the source of their torment.

At first people thought you guys were like siblings but with the amount of joking you guys do about cuddling and how excessively you compliment each other, people’s perceptions quickly turned. Some people might even want you two to get together, but you guys aren’t into each other like that. You’re both just platonically comfortable and close enough to make those kinds of jokes and find it amusing that people even think you two are romantically involved.

👿😈The Chaotic Gremlin(s) – Denji & Power (CSM)

Denji and Power are about the same type of gremlin with slightly different quirks and might as well be a packaged deal, so here we are.

What could go wrong with these two? Literally everything. If you choose to hang out with these two you know exactly what you signed up for. You’re going to constantly get in trouble with them for destroying large amounts of property. You will be dragged into devil fights and often become the damsel in distress if you don’t have a way to protect yourself, but at least these two will literally rip the devil to shreds or be ripped to shreds to protect you. While this is nice, you’ll more than likely end up with broken bones anyways because Denji accidentally drops you from a considerable height or Power flings you out of the way without considering what the impact could do to you, much less looking where she flings you. You better be durable.

Denji and Power are constantly bickering and since you’re a third addition to this now group, they’re gonna fight over you. They come up with strange and nonsensical ways to compete in spending time with you or even just getting your attention. You’ve basically become the older sibling that the younger siblings will do anything to gain your favor and praises. Whether you use this to your advantage or not is up to you, but I have a sneaking suspicion you get these two into trouble in doing so and quickly make your escape before they can blame you for it.

On a more wholesome side of things, Denji and Power would be like a brother and sister for you. If they do anything they find personally impressive, they want you to witness it and praise them. As mentioned before they always want to win you over: Denji trying to be genuinely considerate of you and make you laugh while Power will sabotage him and even go as far as to cause trouble on purpose and accuse him of being the culprit. They’re basically your feral guard dogs, so if anybody ever harasses you these two will be threatening them with things worse than death. Whenever they want to play games or go out, you’re always dragged along. Sure their constant quarreling and grapple for your attention can get annoying, but that comes with the territory and you wouldn't have it any other way with these dummies.

Power: “The great Power demands your presence! Let’s go. Leave stinky Denji.” Denji: “Hey no fair, it’s my turn to hang out with them! And you stink worse!!”

Regret III

Oikawa Tooru and Iwaizumi Hajime. You couldn't say one's name without the other. It was just how things were. They have been together since forever, and inseparable since then. Wherever one was, the other would definitely be nearby. One could say they were each others' soulmate, that the world made them for each other, that their hearts beat as one and their brains thought as one.

Well that's what Oikawa always thought. That Hajime would be his forever, he felt confident in their strong bond knowing that nothing to separate the two.

So Oikawa could only hear his confidence shatter when on one sunny Saturday when he barged into Hajime's house and saw him watching a movie with a girl clinging to his arm. His eyes widened and the boy froze, his friend's barks bubbling away as if he was sinking. Past the black haired demon, was his girlfriend, staring curiously back at him. How dare she, not know the most important person in Hajime's life?

His jaws tensed up feeling heat rush through, his brain began to turn and think. Then he grinned brightly and skipped pass Hajime, flopping down next to his girlfriend.

"My my~! Iwa-chan, how could you hide such a beauty from me?!", he pouted leaning to the girl and making her blush, "Fuck off Shittykawa!", a cushion bounced on his brunette locks.

But Iwaizumi's girlfriend only giggled, "Hajime, calm down and sit with me", Oikawa felt annoyance grow at her sweet voice which lulled his friend to sitting down with a huff, "Don't bother with that idiot. He'll leave soon enough."

Oikawa jutted his bottom lip, "Nuh uh! I'm staying here the whooooole day!", and cackled when his friend groaned.

Except the day didn't turn out like he expected. Nothing he did stopped Hajime and that girl from watching the movie while holding hands. Nothing he tried stopped the two of them from making food like they were already married. And despite everything Oikawa did, he failed to squeeze in between the two of them. He called out he was going to bathroom, but Hajime didn't notice as he was too busy nuzzling into her neck.

After splashing his face with water, Oikawa stared at his miserable face in the mirror. His body trembled and he felt himself disappear out of Iwaizumi's life. But how was that possible when he and Hajime came together? Nothing should be able to separate them! Desperately he racked his brain for a master plan, something that would return everything to the way it was before.

Then he stared at himself in the mirrior, before slowly smirking.

You hummed leaning against the wall when there was a voice, "Sorry I'm late!"

Turning, you found Iwaizumi speeding towards you and chuckled when you vanished from the world in his arms, "It's okay, it was only a few minutes."

The two of you were ignorant of the students around you, amazed at how Iwaizumi was not scowling or shouting for once. Here he was, pushing your noses together and grinning as he suggested places to hang out at. Then you felt a gaze, different from the other ones.

Brown eyes blinked at you blankly. It was that boy from the other day, Oikawa Tooru. Hajime has spoken about him before, his lifelong friend and someone irreplaceable yet somehow managed to get on his nerves everyday. Apparently he was a person feared in the volleyball world, but you were never really a sports person. Every ironic, since Hajime was planning to become an athletic trainer.

"Oi, Crappykawa, why are you standing there like a creep?!", the brunette blinked and light returned to his eyes, "Iwa-chan, pretty-chan~!"

You yelped when Oikawa pounced onto the both of you and whined, "Let me hang out with you otherwise I'll so lonely! And you know I don't like being alone!"

Your boyfriend scoffed and started pushing him away, "As if! Get lost", but you frowned, "Hajime, maybe we can let him join for today?"

Immediately, Oikawa was squeezing up against you, "Right, pretty-chan~! Iwa-chan is so mean~!", you giggled petting the child's head, "He is, isn't he~?", "Hey! Don't encourage him!"

...

Hajime reluctantly allowed the boy to join them and watched as Oikawa dragged you from shop to shop. Slowly, the frown melted off his face watching the two of you laugh together. Even he didn't want to, the first thing Hajime told you was that this relationship would be a secret. And he was very thankful you agreed with a soft smile. Because he was afraid, afraid that Oikawa would do something to hurt you.

Oikawa was very possessive of everything he owned, and that translated to him as well. Since they were little, no matter what he was doing with which friend, the brunette always needed to be first in receiving his attention. Oikawa had told all of their classmates that they shared a special bond no one else could replicate. And he had blatantly told Hajime's first girlfriend that they may be dating, but she was nothing compared to him.

So he felt a million tonnes lift from his shoulders when the two of you got along very well. With that, he started letting Oikawa follow you two around in hopes that you two will also become important to each other.

After establishing his place, Oikawa began to make his moves. Hajime, despite being known for shouting, also had a lot of fan girls and many who liked him. It only took a couple of nudges for them to start coming onto him.

And he watched in glee when the two of you met at the front gates after school, only to have a girl confess to Hajime. Right in front of your face. The black haired boy panicked, he didn't want to be rude to the other girl but he couldn't just leave it as if it was nothing.

Then they watched as your eyes lit up, "You're quite rude aren't you? If you truly love Hajime, then you should respect the fact that he's in a loving relationship and it's not your place to ruin. You come out here to confess knowing that he'll turn you down, how pathetic."

"Y-You don't know that!", Hajime scowled at the girl but contained his anger, "Well now you do, I don't want anything to do with you. So get lost."

Oikawa watched as the girl ran away crying and Hajime apologised profusely to you, but all you did was smile and pinch his cheeks, "It's okay, there are just some wild people in this world."

The volleyball star bit his lip realising that he underestimated your relationship. He knew he had to upgrade before your bond only grew stronger.

And so he started introducing some girls as temporary managers, tempting them into becoming his lackey. He watched on amused as they pushed themselves against his friend, who only politely removed himself. But there was one that went through his guard, a sweet girl who also seemed to be studying health and sports science. Hajime was relieved Oikawa had chosen a proper girl this time, one who respected his privacy and seemed to think a little. The two of them instantly clicked, talking at lunchtime and even during practice. He beamed knowing the seeds had been sown.

You blinked when Oikawa brought her along stating she was Iwa-chan's new bestie. Of course, you welcomed her kindly and thought she would be a great addition.

"Haji-", your smile faltered when you found him standing towards the back of the arcade having a great conversation with the new girl.

It was quite a difficult conversation about health and body parts you would never know studying international affairs. While you never felt insecure for not knowing the content of his rambles, you did feel sorry that Hajime was not having the conversations he wanted and needed.

A figure stood beside you, "Wow, those two are getting along, aren't they?", Oikawa smiled brightly, "I'm glad I encouraged her to join as a manager. Iwa-chan rarely looks this happy without you, now he's smiling a lot more at school."

His eyes turned down to the bear in your hand, resembling Hajime's dopey smile when he was around you, "Oh my gosh, you won that cute teddy bear~? Good job!"

You turned to him and smiled softly, "Thanks."

And over the course of a few weeks, Hajime had become very close with this girl. Your after school dates changed to after school studying with those two sitting together while you and Oikawa sat doing your own things. Suddenly, you who was so confident before, felt weird when the girl accidentally touched his hand or leaned against him. Hajime never pulled away.

As more time passed, you two were spending less time together. You would stand outside his school for a few minutes before receiving a message apologising, because he was going to busy with her. It was okay, you told yourself, they were only friends.

Yet there was a small voice always whispering in your ear that they may turn into something more. Because you weren't special anymore, Hajime had bonded with someone. And you couldn't break that bond.

But still, you had to bring it up just in case. You loved Hajime way to much to potentially let him slip from your grasps. Hajime blinked before his face fell, hugging you tightly and apologising for making you feel self conscious.

The boy was horrified watching your eyes travel everywhere as if they were a boat in a dark sea searching for a nonexistent lighthouse. Your lips were cracked as the desert with no life constantly and your throat tightened around the words you wanted to say.

You were always the most confident person, and the most bravest, and the most caring person he has ever met. When a friend had mentioned how his school always lost to Shiratorizawa Academy, your eyes lit up once again.

"They're still one of the best schools in the country", you glanced them up and down, "I don't see you being best at anything?"

Hajime winced and placed the ice pack against your swollen cheek, "Why would you say that? Now look at you", you huff rising up, "And? Did you look at their face? I won that fight!"

He calmed you down and sighed, "I'm just saying, that was your friend", before screaming as you pounced onto him and made him fall back onto the bed.

His heartbeat raced as you smirked, "Blood, friend, or foe...no one touches my man and walks away clean", then you giggled pinching his blushing cheeks, "Aww, look at you~"

And Hajime swore to do the same. So the only thing he could do was punch himself again and again, you panicked hugging him to stop the boy.

"Hajime, what was that?!", he only repeated softly, "Blood, friend, or foe...no one touches my sweetheart and walks away clean. Even it's myself", and your eyes widened.

Your body melted in his arms and you pecked his lips, "I love you so much", and Hajime smiled, "And I love you even more than that."

Hajime was devastated at the fact he almost lost you. Choosing your dates over studying with her, stepping back and letting the others drool over her in practice, and kept his personal space whenever they talked in class.

But things fell when the two of them were on duty to clean up after school. The girl kept glancing at him and the black haired boy thought about before turning to her with smile.

"Is there a problem?", she hesitated before asking softly, "You...seem to be distancing yourself from me. Is it because of your girlfriend?", he froze and her lips pursed, "So that was it...you know, you shouldn't let yourself be controlled like this."

His eyes widened and she continued, "She's restricting your freedom! Clearly she's jealous that we get along, you can't feed into that! Haji-", "Don't fucking call me that."

She gasped and faltered at his growl, "How dare you accuse my girlfriend of such things? What do you know about her to fucking ramble like you're a professional? Let me make it clear, I distanced myself because I don't ever want to be the one to cause her pain. And it distancing myself from some girl will help, then so be it. There's a million other people I can talk to."

There was a moment of silence before the girl swore and threw the cleaning cloth on a table, "Fuck Tooru, I can't do this shit anymore!"

Hajime frowned and watched as she kicked a desk, "Oikawa?", the girl turned to him clicking her tongue, "Ah, that fucking asshole told me if I make you break up with your girl then he'll date me. Fuck that shit, I'm done!"

She slammed the door open and stopped, Hajime whispered your name in shock. And right next to you, was Oikawa who trembled watching his plans unfold rapidly.

Your jaws rolled and you hiss, "You think that was enough to break us...clearly you don't know shit about relationships!", and the girl screamed as you shoved her into the nearest desk.

Immediately, your boyfriend was there to hold you back and growled at the sobbing girl, "Get lost, now!", she glared at Oikawa before shouting, "All of you can fucking go to hell!"

When she disappeared, Hajime released you and watched as you directed your anger onto Oikawa. The brunette's head swung to the side as you slapped him. You screamed, punching him and throwing things at him.

Soon enough, Hajime went around cleaning the place and you sobbed at the lifeless volleyball star, "I hate you! I trusted you as a friend! I thought you were my friend! I was so happy when you finally accepted me! Only for you to pull that bullshit!?"

After a while your tears stopped and your sobs turned to sniffles, "...One chance, you get one chance to become a proper person", the two boys looked at you speechless.

"Fix your insecurity and get rid of that possessiveness", your eyebrows furrowed, "Because Hajime is his own person, but I'm the one he'll gonna marry and start a family with."

Hajime covered his mouth because you just basically proposed to him.

Oikawa gulped, "Y-You might regret this, what if I try to break you up again?", your voice trembled, "Then...it'll be your fault that you lose your best friend. Because I gave you the chance to live with him forever."

Brown eyes shook at your words, "You could be the best man at his wedding, the friend he relies on when we have fights, the first to hold his baby, the one that becomes the godfather of his children, and come on holiday with us every season. And he'll do the same for you", his heart twisted at his potential future.

Suddenly, Oikawa was asking himself why he wanted to ruin this future in the beginning? Because it was everything he wanted and more.

So he cries at your feet, "I-I promise you won't regret this!", swearing that he'll do anything to protect the bond you two shared comforted from knowing that he has a place in it.

Holding Hajime's hand, you let Oikawa reappear back into your lives again.

Hello lovelies! Thanks for reading this and I hope you enjoy the happy ending because this will be the first and final one (JK).

I was going to make this sad with Iwaizumi believing the girl's words and the relationship falls apart leaving him depressed and Oikawa feels regretful. However I just couldn't write Iwaizumi like that because it didn't feel like him, he's just so mature that I feel like these problems are just small bumps in a happily ever after.

While I don't personally ship Oikage, I also think it's one of the more interesting dynamics of Haikyuu, there's rivalry, admiration and ultimately a bit of support from both sides as well. Not to mention that both are obsessed with each other. So yeah, Oikage is one of the coolest ships in the anime and I wouldn't be surprised if in a few weeks I'd be completely into it (besides the fact that there are so many beautiful art about them).
