🌺Flowers Bloom AU with Sanji please?
Why yes of course!!
TW: none
WC: 2169
SFW
Sanji x reader
Tumblr media
You really want to know what type of person your soulmate is.
At times your legs would flare up with white carnation flowers and other times it would bloom on your fingers like little scars. You wonder if they're getting abused or they're just a reckless person.
Somehow you have a feeling that it started off as that but somehow it changed into the latter. As someone who's living a peaceful life in tending the family farm you were greatly concerned on how he's doing and what kind of chaos he would bring fourth.
When a child turns the age of 5, on their body it would bloom flowers that represent the type of person your soulmate is and it only blooms when they get injured. The bigger the flower that blooms on your body the more injured they are and the little flowers that comes out is more like a cut on their finger.
His flower is white carnation flowers. It presents innocence, pure love, and women’s good luck gift. As a kid you attended your local school that taught the symbolism of flowers and what they mean. It's a subject the world teaches to younger kids to understand the meaning of soulmates and know a little bit about them till the day they meet.
When you first got yours you can barely remember it, busy just running around and playing with your dog. However it did not go unnoticed by your mum, who was at that time giving you a bath. When she saw your body blooming, she was over the moon especially since she already knew the meaning of it.
Dressed you up and screamed for your family of 6 to come down. First came is your mature older brother, then your voted most beautiful in the village older sister and lastly your two idiotic twin brothers. Your father was already in the kitchen, your mum hurries over there. "Look, look!" she exclaimed. Showing off your mark to the family.
"Oh! her soulmate is going to be a wonderful person!" Back then at the age of 5, you didn't understand what's the big deal and why is your family so happy and excited for you but it didn't matter since the next day you got to eat your favorite desserts with them.
You would then insist on wearing cute sleeveless sundresses to show off the pretty flowers and your parents would share a concern look to each other but still let you dress however you want.
Now as an older woman you understand that they were concern that your soulmate might not be in a very loving home whether he's younger or older than you.
You really can't wait for the day you two would get to meet. And if your assumptions are true, you sure hope you would be enough to fill his heart with love.
“Are you going out?” You turn to face your sister who’s holding her sleeping baby in her arms, greeting her with a smile you said. “Yes I am, mum said she wanted to make some fish stew for dinner tonight so I’m going to buy some fresh ones at the market.”
Slipping in your sandals you went to grab your bag and basket from the counter moving to give a tiny kiss to your little nephew sleeping form before giving your sister a goodbye hug.
“Okay, make sure you come back safely love.” You wave her a goodbye one last time before getting out of the house and making your way to the food market. The busiest place in the village.
Your village is small but still famous around the New World for offering the freshest ingredients on the market, which you are very proud of since you and your family sell the tastiest vegetables and fruits around here.
It's a short distance from your house and the walk there went by rather quick with the greenery view and the sound of waves by the distant and the smell of fresh morning and of course it's a good morning if you smell auntie Honey fresh made bread.
You noted in your head to grab some so you can make delicious, creamy garlic bread to go well with the fish stew.
Reaching the stand where Auntie honey seems to scold the kids running around the street you laughed at the sight. Troublesome kids always driving her insane first thing in the morning so she can chase them away with free lemon raspberry loaf.
"Another tough day?" You sweetly ask, going up to her to greet her with a kiss on the checks, a traditional greeting around here. "Y/n! ugh you don't how these kids drive one insane. I ought to lock them up and stuff their faces with nothing but sweets so they can be knocked out the whole day!" You bark out a laugh at her ridiculous idea knowing that she will enjoy feeding those kids.
"Here you go hun fresh loaf right out of the oven." She smiled brightly at you. You thanked her for the loaf, placing it in your basket before pay her three sliver coins.
You started walking towards the shore where all the sailors bring in fresh fish to sell. About 5 minutes or so you reached there looking at all the colorful and fresh looking fish.
"Wow today seems like a crazy win for you sailors." you said looking over at the old man's stand with your family favorite fish. "oh yes most definitely. Today seems like a lucky day." You chuckled, it sure does feel like one.
"Old man, how much would these cost." Shivers ran up your spine when you heard a smooth gentleman's voice. Shocked by such reaction you glance towards the culprit. A man with a suit and blond hair is leaning against the stand with a focused eyes looking at fishes on display. "They cost about 3 gold coins."
Feeling a beautiful lady's eyes on him, Sanji turned around to face you.
Your nose started covering itself with flowers like freckles when the man nose started bleeding like crazy. "Oh my god! oh my god! Are you okay sir!" You went to touch his face which only made it worse however it didn't go unnoticed how when your skin made connect with his, yellow jasmine flowers bloomed onto his while your hands bloomed with white carnation flowers.
You gasp. ‘My soulmate!’
You started squealing and fanning yourself totally excited to have met your bond and forgetting about his not so healthy nose bleed.
Soon enough everything calmed down, you managed to get your fish and your soulmate back to your place safe. A little worried about him since he’s still looked worn out from all the bleeding.
You are relieved that your family is out and about not wanting them to see your bonded in such a state in case he would get embarrassed. With the help of the men in the village he was laid down on your home couch.
When you went into the kitchen to grab some water for him, he’s already awake and looking around the place. “It seems you’re doing well.” You sigh, that was a lot of stress on your poor heart. “Here you go drink some water” you said handing him his water.
“I-I, thank you.” He stuttered, with little a bit of blush coating his face like the peek of pink champagne. “I-yes.” You weren’t doing any better in this situation, looking down shyly and fumbling with your dress. “So we're soulmates.” He starts to speak, placing the glass down on the table.
You glance at him through your lashes, hiding your bashful face from him yet Sanji still felt his heart getting pierced with your loving gaze. Choking on his spit, he coughed out loud to clear his throat. “Would you mind if you stay the night for dinner?” You asked hopping he’ll accept.
Sanji lights up at the invitation. “Yes, of course I’ll like that.” He’s says before looking over at your basket. “Do you mind me asking what’re you planning to make?” You follow his eyes and see your food. “My mum is making some fish stew and I’ll be following it up with some garlic bread. I hope you’re not allergic to any of them.” You asked worried that would be the case.
“Oh no, not at all.” He assures you. “Do you mind if I use the kitchen to hook up some desserts too?” Your eyes gleamed at his thoughtfulness, “Why yes of course you can. I trust that you know your way in the kitchen.” You say ushering him to follow you towards the kitchen. “I’m actually a chef so yes I do know my way.” He chuckled.
You gleamed at his words. You secretly wished as a teen to have mate that can bake since you have a sweet-tooth and still do at this age. "Oh wow that's wonderful," Hearing you compliment him almost sent him to another rollercoaster of nose bleeding expect he just settles for heart eyes following you like a lost puppy.
Soon after you two started working together for the dessert and the garlic bread. It's comfortable how you two knew your way around each other and seem to connect your hearts by just being around each other.
In an hour or so your mum came into the kitchen and you introduced both of them to each other your mum is head over heels for him since Sanji kept flattering her for her cooking skills and her 'young beauty.' You just roll yours eyes and smiled at how well they're getting together. Once dinner is done the rest of the family came. Your older brother and his pregnant wife, your still mateless twin brothers, your sister and her husband with their four kids and lastly your dad with one his grandkids on his shoulder.
Sanji is shocked by how big of a family you guys are yet he just blended right in especially right after everyone tasted the cake Sanji baked. Your heart felt so full and content seeing how everyone got along so well together and seeing Sanji handsome face laughing and talking with you and the family like he knew you ages ago.
Seeing as your siblings took over cleaning duty you pulled Sanji out.
Night has fallen and stars blanketed your dark sky. Sanji takes your hands into his while you too walk together to the cliff at the back of your house.
"Y/n... I had a wonderful time today with you and your family." He glance at your eyes, watching them how they unravel your secrets and affections to him, you are like an open book that he won't get tried of reading over and over again. "I see how you feel joy surrounded by them... and I'm afraid to say that I can't be part of it." Your smile drops from your face at his words not believing what he's aiming at.
"You can't possibly say that you'll be leaving me." You still selfishly want more time with him. There's still so much you want to learn about him and do things with him. He takes your cheeks into his hands just like you did earlier with him and flowers blooms on both sides.
Sanji draws you close to him. You place your hands on his waist wanting to feel him as much as possible before he lets go. "Please don't." You whisper, tearing up a bit. You just met him yet the idea of letting go takes away every drop of your breathe. "I don't want to... but, are you welling to let go of your life here and sail the sea with a pirate crew? Cause that's who I am. A chef on a pirate ship." Sanji lets out.
Scared that you might reject him all together, he tries to come up with a solution.
You stayed quiet, your eyes glued down in thought. Just when Sanji is about to reject the idea, you look at him with determination, "Yes, I'll sail with you." You've never been so sure of something your whole life and this just might be it the next big step to your life. You never thought you would be leaving your family behind but you knew they'll understand and wish you the best. "Y/n I don't want to force your hands-"
"No. You're not Sanji. I'm sure that this is what I want." You say, ending anymore further discussion on this.
Sanji chuckles, content with your answer. "If you say so my love."
In sanji's embrace the world stopped still on it's axis. There is no time, no wind, no rain. Your mind is at peace. This is where you want to spent the rest of your life.
Stepping on your toes, you reach up to him and kiss his lip corner.
You probably shouldn't have done that, the man is just about to drain all his blood.

Shinsou is tired and worn out from a long day so he’s pretty happy to be heading home.
He’s even more excited by the delicious smell coming from the kitchen.
It doesn’t take long before he strolls in and sees you standing in one of his indigo sweaters, the one with the cute little black cat symbol the back, and a pair of lacey white panties.
Shinsou’s suddenly much more awake than he was.
He’s horny on main.
“What a sight, kitten.” He coos, stepping closer to you. You smile and turn to face him, happy to see him back in one piece.
“How was work?”
“It was work, but it was worth it if I get to see you like this afterward.” Shinsou places a kiss on your neck, his hands resting on your hips.
He’s pushing you up against the counter, hoisting you up so you’re sitting on it now.
“Toshi.” You whisper as his calloused fingers slip under the waistband of your panties, teasingly toying with your sensitive bundle of nerves.
His finger flicks across your clit a few times and you’ve become a moaning mess.
You’re gripping onto the cold marble counter tops as his fingers begin to pump inside of you, curling upward as they rub against your walls.
“Such a naughty kitten, wearing such naughty things.” Shinsou’s back to kissing and biting on your neck, marking you up good and well. You’d have those marks for a while which was exactly what Shinsou wanted.
“Fuck!” You moan out, feeling your stomach tighten into a knot as your climax approaches.
It’s not long before you’re cumming on his fingers and making a bit of a mess on the counter top you’re sitting on.
Shinsou cleans his fingers in his mouth, licking off your juices.
“The food!” You yelp, quickly jumping down from the counter to check on the food you’d been cooking.
Thankfully it wasn’t too hurt, but you couldn’t risk letting it get burnt like that again.
“Ready for round two kitten?”
“Shinsou dinner is gonna brun-”
“I have a perfect meal right in front of me.”

He’s more or less a volt or two away from short circuiting. He needs a serious recharge, and thankfully he gets to go home and do just that.
When he walks into the apartment the two of you shared, he’s enticed by the sweet and savory aroma filling the place, coming straight from the kitchen.
He’s taken back when he sees you in his favorite hoodie.
It’s black with a big lightning symbol across the chest and a cute little storm cloud on the back.
He’s even more surprised when he notices it’s all your wearing along with some cute lacey panties.
“Woah.” Denki is almost speechless. He’s always got a loss of words when it comes to you, but sometimes all he can manage to say is how impressed he is.
“Oh hey babe!” You smile, walking over to give Denki a kiss.
It starts out innocent, but Denki’s hands begin to wander, from your hips, down to your ass, grabbing it roughly and feeling it up.
“Someone’s excited to see me.” You tease, poking fun of the growing tent in his hero costume.
“Of course I am, god look at you.” Kaminari is eager to touch you. His lips move to your neck as he backs you against the counter.
He kisses down your neck before pulling his lips off of you and squatting down between your legs.
Tossing one over his shoulder, he hooks a finger under your panties and moves them to the side before diving in to what he’d been waiting for.
His tongue slides through your folds, flicking over your clit a few times.
Your hands tangle into his hair as he begins to eat you out, moans spilling from your mouth.
“Kami!” You cry out as he pumps two fingers inside you, adding to the pleasure he was already giving you.
It doesn’t take long for you to get all worked up. He;s making you cum within minutes and it’s messy.
Your juices drip down his chin but he doesn’t care. He’s hungry for more.
Overstimulating you is his specialty.
He brings his tongue through your folds a few more times before scooping out some of your juices with his two fingers, letting it drop into his mouth.
“You taste so good babygirl.” He mewls, his amber eyes staring up at you.
Your chest is heaving and he finally let’s you catch a breath. He stands up and places a few soft kisses on your cheek.
“I can’t wait for dinner.”
“It’s probably burnt by now!” You quickly turn to look at it, and to your dismay it was.
“Guess we’re eating out tonight!”

Kirishima is worn out but he could probably keep going for a bit. Nonetheless, he’s happy to be going home because he gets to see you.
Your house is quaint and pretty small and very homey.
Kirishima can already taste the delicious meal you’re cooking just by smelling it. It’s savory and smells delicious.
He’s tossed down most of his things by the door, excited to see you.
And excited he is.
He admires you, speechless by the sight of his beautiful girlfriend cooking in his red hoodie. The one with the rips in the sleeves from him using his quirk in it while training.
His eyes wander down to your legs which are bare. His eyes stop at the lacey panties your wearing. He feels bad for staring but you’re just so gorgeous.
“I know you’re there Kiri.” You call to him, pulling him out of his daydream.
He’s rushing over to you, hugging you from behind. You can feel how excited he is to see you.
“Are you using your quirk or are you excited to see me?” You tease. Kirishima’s cheeks are as red as his hair.
“I’m happy to see you.” Kirishima places a kiss on the back of you neck as his large hands pull your lacey panties to the side.
“Kiri!” You mewl, your chest pressing against the counter as he pushes you down, pulling his own pants down just enough to release his aching cock.
He’s hard as a rock.
“Fuck.” Kirishima curses, stroking his cock, just admiring your pussy from afar.
“Stop teasing me.” You whine, wiggling your hips at him.
One of Kirishima’s hands moves to pin your wrists against your back.
“You got it, princess.” Kirishima’s hips buck forward as he slides his cock into you, drawing a moan out of your throat.
“Kiri!” You mewl. He’s stretching you out. His cock fills you up so well it’s almost hard to ever get used to him.
“Fuck princess.” His hips are moving and slapping against yours, the lewd noises filling the kitchen.one of the only sounds over the low sizzling of the dinner you’d forgot about and the string of moans and curses you and Kirishima are letting out.
“Taking my cock so good.” Kirishima murmurs, his speech incoherent as he’s getting closer and closer to letting go.
You’re clenching around him and Kiri feels like you’re just about going to milk him dry.
“So tight.” He growls, sending an open palm down against your ass cheek. You throw your head back in pleasure as you feel yourself letting go.
“Kiri!” You cry out as you cum, Kirishima’s groans getting louder as you tighten around him, doing just what he thought you’d do.
Kirishima came inside of you, his hot seed sticking to your walls as he pulled out, the white liquid seeping out from between your folds.
“Fuck princess.” Kirishima curses again, admiring your post-fuck form still bent over the counter.
Something smells burnt.
You look over to dinner and notice it smoking. Your legs feel like jello and you can hardly move, but Kirishima manages to turn the stove burner off.
“What are we going to eat now?” You pout as Kirishima helps you clean up.
“Guess we’ll just have to order some food.”

Willuz prompts:
- Willow and her bumblebee Palisman grow an extravagant topiary of her and Luz, adorned with beautiful bouquets of flowers (as well as make delicious honey) for Luz to thank her for everything.
- Kind of a recap of Season 1's Luz and Willow adventures, but with the notable highlight that Willow gives Luz an appropriate flower bouquet as thanks of helping her out (can be combined with previous prompt if preferable)
- Amity and Hunter argue which of the two Luz loves the most, only to find Luz on a date/making out with Willow in a secluded, forested area, maybe with blossoming flowers (this is a non-serious fic as an allegory to the whole shipping war at the moment, but could come off as a bit mean :P)
- Luz practices with her Glyphs once more to make nice flowers and topiaries for Willow.
- Willow has a crush on Luz and can't help but feel a little jealous when she and Amity get close instead. Willow is too shy to confess her feelings for Luz, fearing rejection, and doesn't want to be in hot water with Amity again after they're finally getting along since their breach years ago. Willow wants to be happy for them, but Gus notices her depression.
- Boscha has thrashed Willow's beautiful plant garden, a passion project that's been taken years, and Willow is despaired by this, too depressed to continue and rebuild. Luz decides to fix the garden and improve it.
@Arendalphaeagle gave theses wonderful prompts so I have went with fourth one. The request was suppose to be uploaded on A03 but it didn't work out so until further notice all Willuz requests will be uploaded here. Feel free to drop ya'll request in my ask box. Enjoy.
A flower for Willow
Luz tapped the symbol emitting a green light and a single flower merge. She looks over at her spell book that specializes in plant magic for something new. She had committed her time to mastering a new glyph, hoping it would create the perfect gift for Willow. Luz didn't care if she spent the whole night out here and woke up with tired eyes caked with crust. Starting earlier this week would have been the wise thing to do but studying for her witch classes ate up the time. In a sluggish motion the sun disappeared behind the trees, allowing the moon to provide a dim light and usher in darkness. Luz casted a luminous orb as she read the instruction on how to evoke multiple flowers. She read the guide once more then traced the symbol on paper and activated it. A patch of lavender and lilac flowers bloom before her, this was just what she needed. Luz would allow her artistic skills to do the rest, she took her book and went inside.
She found Eda knocked out on the couch with an empty cup of apple blood dangling from her hand. A smile spread on her lips seeing the grey-haired witch in her apple blood coma. King was probably upstairs waiting for Luz's return so they could continue watching an anime series that she had downloaded on her phone. Upon entering the room Luz sees King scowling one of his stuffed animals.
When he noticed her presence. He stopped chiding the pink rabbit, "Oh hey Luz, are you ready to watch soul eater with me?" He asked, sitting on the sleeping mat.
"Not tonight love," She replied.
"Why not?!" King whined.
Luz faced the opposite direction and stripped from her outwear into pj's. She put them near the mat and got out her sketch pad.
"I have to finish a gift for Willow," she said, sitting down to begin sketching her friend's face.
"You can finish it tomorrow, I've been watching all week for us to watch soul eater!"
"Sorry King, I promise we will watch it together tomorrow" she assured.
The furry demon grumbled under his breath and joined her on the mat. "What are you drawing anyways?" He asked, peeking over her shoulder.
"A picture of Willow" she responded.
"What's the occasion?"
"None, I just want to do something nice for my friend," she said.
"Do you have anything else in mind?"
Luz had finished Willow's eyes and moved on to her nose, "Tomorrow I'm
going to create a plant statue with this picture".
"I want a plant statue of me!" King cried.
Luz chuckled.
"And you've been doing a lot for Willow lately, last week you went out of your way to get her that plant baby".
Luz's heart raced, she already knew the next words coming, "She sounds more than a friend" King commented.
"Friends do things for each other all the time" Luz struggled to tolerate her frisky heart, hoping the tone of her voice wasn't a dead give away.
"Eh, if you say so."
The room fell in silence and Luz worked diligently on Willow's portrait. The plant witch dominates her thoughts, now her heart flutters thinking of those olive green eyes behind the thin-rimmed glasses. The way her ear twitched at sudden noises. Willow had been nothing but a sweet-heart since day, she deserved the world and Luz was willing to give her it. Although these feelings bloomed, she didn't know if it was mutual on Willow's end, and she would keep them buried away. When Luz finally looked up from her sketch-pad King was fast asleep at the edge of her mat. She set aside the finished product and got some rest.
Later that night, Luz had woken up to relieve her heavy bladder, she carefully stepped over a sleeping King and visited the bathroom. After washing her hands, she found herself outside.
The moon's bright orbs brighten her path as she walks through the woods. Luz was a moth drawn to light, she felt compelled to keep moving. The orbs glowed rapidly like glistening gems, Luz could hear the vibration. She was led into the opening and a massive bush that resembled Willow's head came in view.
Woah...
"Thank you Luz!" It says
"Huh?"
Its large yellow luminous remind her of fireflies, she had accidentally swallowed one when she was seven.
"Thank you" it repeated.
"What for?" Luz asked.
She didn't get a response to her question,7 the bush thanked Luz on an endless loop. Suddenly, gravity reeled her forward and its mouth opened wide, swallowing her.
Luz was expecting to be engulfed in darkness, her eyes were squeezed shut. She felt warmth and a chubby body press against hers, opening her eyes. Luz realized it was Willow. She embraced the plant witch hug and gently ran her hand along Willow's turquoise hair.
"Luz!"
Everything faded. Luz woke up in her makeshift room with an annoyed little demon held prisoner in her arms. "Luz let go!" He whines struggling to break free.
"Sorry.." she said sheepishly.
Luz released him and King scurried off on all fours. She took care of her personal hygiene then returned to the room for her uniform. When Luz went downstairs, Eda was waiting at the door with her staff. She wore her pajamas. "Can we take the tub?”
“No, its for emergencies only”
“Please” Luz said, giving the grey haired woman pitiful eyes.
“I’m immune to those” Eda stated dismissively.
“But you can’t be the coolest witch without it,”
“Keep it up and you’ll be walking to school” Eda said heading out the door.
--
The schoolyard was still empty when Luz hopped off the staff. She watched Eda fly away, disappearing over the autumn colored trees. Luz took out her plant magic textbook and turned to the page about manipulation. After she got a good understanding, she pulled out the portrait of Willow and drew two symbols on them. Luz crossed her fingers and tapped the paper, a stem sprouted forth and the leaves took on the form of Willow's face. Two Lilac flowers blossomed on both sides, the topiary was the size of a miniature house plant. She had expected bigger  but before Luz could sulk her crush arrived.
"Willow!" She quickly hid the plant behind her back.
"Hey" Willow smiled.
Luz felt butterflies tickling her stomach, she forced a skittish smile and revealed the topiary. Willow eyes widened with astonishment, she took the plant from Luz's hands.
"Aww thanks" Willow shifted the plant in her other arm and gave her a hug. Luz no longer had butterflies pestering her insides. The euphoria buttered her up, if Luz hadn't stopped herself she would have kissed Willow. For a brief moment, the turquoise haired witch stared at her. Luz was about to look away but Willow touched her cheek and gently kissed her lips. She led Luz by the hand towards the school building.

A Date with an Angel // Part Three // Sasori and Itachi
Sasori
“Do you like this place? It’s really colorful, isn’t it?” “It’s alright.” “These nachos are delicious. Do you want some?” “No thanks, the cheese would upset my stomach. I’m mildly lactose intolerant.” Konan just sighs to herself and picks her drink back up, slowly sipping as she tries to think of a good topic for conversation. Earlier, when the redheaded house member Sasori had invited her to spend an evening with him, her surprise had been greater than with any of the others so far. When she’d first been introduced to the household back when she moved in, she’d taken one look at Sasori and had been shocked; later on she sat in Nagato’s room and demanded to know why he was employing children to do the type of work that they did. “Children?”, he’d responded, shaking his head. “Sasori is no child; he’s 35 years old. He’s older than me and you, even.” 35?? With his short stature, smooth, unlined face and vibrantly colored hair ... it was simply unbelievable. The more she got to know him, however, the more she realized that he was indeed very mature; maybe too mature. He never smiled, never laughed, and made even less conversation than Kakuzu did. Whenever Konan made meals, he never joined any of the others at the table. “Don’t worry; it don’t have anything to do with you or your cooking,” Deidara had told her one night when she questioned it. “The guy just never eats. Hardly sleeps, either. It’s like he’s not human or something.” Considering his quiet, serious personality, his choice of venue to take Konan to tonight was entirely odd. “A comedy club?”, she’d asked, as he guided her through the doors. “Mm. They’re amateurs but really quite good. I’m sure you’ll laugh a lot.” And laugh Konan did — but not Sasori. His facial expression didn’t change once all evening, and he didn’t so much as crack a smile through even the most hilarious of acts. Now it was the interlude between sets, and Konan was trying to find something, anything to make conversation about. Before she can, the next guy comes on. It’s a man with a small dummy that he sits on his knee, that “tells” the jokes for him. Konan happens to glance at Sasori and is startled; for once, he seems interested. His eyes stay fixated on the little wooden toy throughout the man’s set, and when he’s done, it’s the first time that Sasodi cracks any kind of a smile. “Are you a fan of ventriloquism?” Sasori turns towards her, and unleashes more words than she’s heard him say in the entire time of living at the house. Sasori is gesturing, he’s vivid and animated as he explains the process of creating dummies and puppets, and the finer points of ventriloquism. “I didn’t know this was a hobby of yours.” He raises an eyebrow, and tells her it goes far beyond a hobby. The show is over so he takes her back home, and brings her straight to his room (which she’s never seen the inside of before). She gives a little gasp upon entering; Sasori’s shelves are filled to the rafters with various wooden constructs, some unfinished, some painted, some clothes, some with hair and jewelry and —
Konan goes to pick up a smaller one laying on a bench, gently turning it this way and that. “This is so realistic,” she says, softly. “I wish I had the patience for creating art like this.” “What do you mean? Your art is amazing as well.” She blinks when he says that; surely he’s not referring to — “I’ve been in awe of your origami for quite some time. The things you create are very beautiful. I’d love it if you could teach me your technique sometime.” Konan blushes; nobody except Yahiko had ever complimented her origami hobby before. She sees a piece of paper laying on his desk, and begins slowly folding and teaching him how to make a basic flower. After observing and asking questions, he’s able to replicate the simple lotus. She then asks him if he could walk her through the process for creating one of his pieces, which he does, from sanding to sculpting to painting. “Things like this are better than humans,” he tells her, quietly, at one point. “These you can create, and you can control. But you never really know what a person is thinking, or feeling, or what they’re going to do next.” At the end of it, Konan glances up at the clock on his wall and gasps: 1am?! Where had the time gone?? She gets up and thanks Sasori for (what turned out to be) a lovely evening. He hesitates, then takes her hand and gives it a light kiss. “You are welcome to come back any time you wish,” he says, as he walks her to his door. “I’m a night owl so if I’m not out on a job, I’ll be awake and working.” She nods, smiles, then returns to her own room. Before she falls asleep she thinks of another flower to teach him: the campanula. These bright blossoms offer beauty, and intricacy ... and are a symbol of new friendships.
Itachi
“Oh my Goddd.” “What’s wrong, Konan?” “Nothing; it’s just, I haven’t felt this relaxed in a while. Itachi smiled and took a sip of his lemonade, before answering, in his quiet way, “Me, too.” When Konan had been approached by the dark-haired Itachi earlier in the day and asked if she wished to spend some time with him that afternoon, she’d been excited. Itachi was somebody that mostly kept to himself within the house; always quiet, very soft-spoken but when he DID speak he always said the most profound things Konan had ever heard. He was one of the most calm and mature members of Nagato’s team, an Konan’s shock upon discovering that he was only 21 years old was immense. One night she went into the kitchen to cook everyone a meal, and was pleasantly surprised to find Itachi there ahead of her, doing prep-work for the dish she had said she was going to make. From then on, the two developed a slow, lovely friendship, punctuated mostly by them cooking together and occasionally watching a movie in the living room. Today however was the very first time she went anywhere with him in public, and she was nearly flabbergasted when they pulled up to a well-known luxury spa. “This — Itachi this kinda stuff is expensive. I can’t let you —“ but he just waved her off, took her inside, and told the lady behind the desk that they both wanted “the works”. A slow, soothing full-body massage, manicures and pedicures, eye and hair treatment, mud masks, as many desserts as they wanted (Itachi especially seemed to have a thing for the sweet dumplings), and now, a hot tub. “I wouldn’t have thought a guy would be into stuff like this,” Konan commented, reaching for her sweet tea. “Man or woman, everyone needs the chance to relax, don’t they?” Konan nods, and then says “Well I’m sure that all of you that work for Nagato do. But me? What am I doing that I deserve something like this? MY job isn’t nearly as stressful, and —“ “You take care of all of us. You’re there for us. That may sound simplistic, but that’s no small feat, my dear.” The two are quiet for a while, listening to the relaxing nature-esque background music of the spa, before Itachi says, quietly, “If — if you ever feel like talking about HIM, you can talk to me. I don’t know if you’re ready but I want you to know I’ve experienced loss, too.” Konan closes her eyes; while she appreciates Itachi’s kindness, she’s NOT ready to talk about Yahiko. So she asks instead, “You lost someone close to you?” He nods, faces her, and tells her the story about losing his parents in a car accident when he was 12. His voice wavers when he tells her that they were coming home from a parent-teacher conference for HIM, and how, for the longest time, he blamed himself for their deaths. “Me and my younger brother Sasuke were taken in by my older cousin Shisui,” he explained, now smiling. “Nice guy but definitely not father material. I guess it’s just the Uchiha curse; you lose someone and have to go to someone else. It happened to me, to Obito —“ Konan stops him, and is REALLY surprised to learn that Itachi and Obito are distant cousins. “But anyway, I just want you to know I get it. If the day ever comes when you want to talk, I can be there for you.” She scoots over in the water and hugs him; she blushes when she realizes her towel has slipped, and for a brief few moments their bare chests are touching. “S-sorry about that,” she says, backing away and covering up. “Don’t worry about it,” he replies; but he’s blushing quite hard as well. The drive home is quiet, each feeling comfortably invigorated and relaxed. When they get to the front door, Konan leans up and kisses Itachi’s cheek, thanking him for a lovely day. He tells her that she made the day even lovelier. They go inside and all of the boys make it a point to go up to Konan and tell her how great she looks after her day of pampering, which she appreciates. She goes into the kitchen to start dinner, and once again finds Itachi there ahead of her. She smiles and ties on her apron, and the two create another delicious meal together.

Aahh it's here, it's finally here TwT
This story was written by cursedautumn on Instagram as her part of a story/art trade.
Woke up today to see that she was able to finish it and I just love it ToT
I just adore this ship so much and I'm happy the first kiss scenario exists through a story!
The original scenario has Veruca a bit more shy when asking for another kiss before Diego just smothers her and starts calling her cute. But this, this was perfect!!
And I think that last bit of the story may be a nod to Avis, Veruca's great grandmother, due to her patronus/symbolism being a blue butterfly. If it is, that's just so cute!
Tumblr media
The June evening of that year was absolutely perfect for a date: the sky was clear, dark blue and starry, and on the horizon there was a strip of sun so bright ruby color that it was painful to look at it. The air was heavy with the scent of pine and wood, and the flower beds flanking the Westside Park paths were filled with scarlet roses, yellow tulips, and white peonies-in short, a beautiful profusion of flowers. In the twilight, the gazebo, festooned with glittering garlands and lit with candles, looked like a real magic house, and Veruca, who came here to meet Diego, marveled at the beauty and romantic atmosphere of this place. Diego had a way of surprising her, even though this was probably their tenth date. By the way, they never kissed, and he was still eager to give her a real holiday every time. Romantic!
"Do you like it?" Diego asked coquettishly, adjusting the collar of his snow-white shirt. Veruca nodded confidently. "I told you, this is a great place for a date!"
"And you were right as always!" she laughed. They began to pull out of a wicker round basket the provisions they had brought with them for the date: a bottle of rose wine, expensive cheese, a mind-blowing scented baguette with a thin crisp crust, glasses, a bunch of ripe grapes and a bag of cherries, chocolates and napkins. "I think there are more garlands here than there are stars in the sky."
"And the brightest star is right here, right next to me," he said. Veruca smiled: her boyfriend offered a few standard, but very pleasant, compliments. Diego took one of the cherries in his mouth and took a big bite. A drop of juice rolled down his chin and was about to fall on his shirt, but he caught it and wiped it with his finger so that Veruca blushed involuntarily and turned away, pretending to be very busy looking at the wine in the bottle.
She and Diego had been dating for quite some time, and she couldn't even remember exactly when it all started. Their relationship flowed like a river: from date to date, hugs, dancing, talking — but so far without kissing or anything more daring. It seemed strange to Veruca that she, a grown-up girl, didn't kiss her boyfriend, but given the circumstances, she could be forgiven for that. And then, what's the point of a relationship if you have to force yourself into it? Diego didn't force her. He just waited. Veruca understood what he wanted, and she often found herself wanting to finally expand the horizons of possibilities. But she just didn't feel ready for it yet. Maybe it will happen today, maybe tomorrow, maybe next month. Veruca didn't make a wish. She had learned to expect anything from herself.
Although, frankly, she liked Diego not only in platonic terms. As a man, he was remarkable, but his merits were not limited to this. He was a rare beauty: dark, fit, muscular, with long, thick hair the color of bitter chocolate and pleasant dark eyes. When he undressed, smiled, ruffled his hair, Veruca was ready to devour him with her eyes, and inside she had a burning desire to kiss him. However, she held back. Controlled herself.
"Well, let's get started!" Diego said solemnly, picking up the wine bottle and carefully uncorking it. Veruca followed his strong, beautiful hands with her eyes. "Shall we start with a baguette with cheese? I'm starving."
They sat down at a table in the gazebo next to each other. The sun had set, and Westside Park was plunged into a romantic haze. They unwrapped the thin paper that served as the packaging for the baguette. Dark cherries and transparent grapes glittered enticingly on their round, glittering sides. Diego poured the wine into the glasses — the liquid sparkling and fresh as a morning lake.
There was silence for a while. Veruca sipped her wine. It was sweet, with hints of apricot, not too cloying or tart. Her throat burned pleasantly. It wasn't that she was getting drunk very quickly, but tonight the wine was particularly relaxing, and she quickly stopped thinking, stopped worrying, and leaned her elbows on the table with an exhalation. Diego didn't say a word, but his eyes said more: he looked at her with love and adoration. With each passing second, Veruca felt lighter and lighter, and wanted to laugh, jump up, and dance. She stared at his handsome face, at his broad shoulders, at his dark gold hair…
"Hey, honey!" Diego snapped his fingers in front of her face and smiled. "What are you thinking, mmm?" Veruca smiled and caught his hand. "Nothing, really."
"How's the wine?" he asked, rolling a seductive smile on his lips. Veruca shrugged, pretending to be only mildly impressed.: "Very pleasant. Light. I love that kind of thing."
"I know," Diego grinned, and moved closer to her. Veruca took a slice of bread and took a bite; it was fresh, crisp, and delicious. "Damn, this wine is crazy! I got it from a distant relative of mine, who works for Limmiani wine products."
"Oh, you're related to a Limmiani worker?" Veruca asked in a flirtatious tone. "I'm definitely not going to leave you now!"
They laughed as they sipped their wine and ate crusty bread, tender cheese, juicy, honey-sweet grapes and cherries, and hard but fast-melting chocolate. The sky overhead shimmered and glowed with cold bluish stars. It got a little cold. Veruca shivered, she forgot her coat at home. Diego noticed this and immediately asked her to take his jacket; she accepted the offer and did not regret it at all — the fabric was soft and warm, it smelled pleasantly of perfume and flowers. They sat there for half an hour, enjoying each other's relatively intimate physical company, until Diego asked her to dance.
"Dance? Here?" Veruca laughed, feeling a little light. It was already dark and not so warm. "That's nice, but I'm not sure I can waltz in my heels."
"Then take them off," Diego suggested. "The grass is soft, there are no insects here. There's nothing to be afraid of."
Veruca hesitated a little, but finally obeyed and kicked off her shoes. She put her bare feet on the ground. The grass was still warm, warmed by the afternoon sun, and very soft, like Wilhelmina's blue velvet dress, which she loved to wear on winter visits and of which she was insanely proud. For a second, Veruca thought she was going to fall, but she managed to stay on her feet and held out her arms to Diego.…
And at that moment, music began to pour out of nowhere. Pleasant, clear as a bird's song, it shimmered and flowed like a stream — a real delight for the ears! She relaxed, and she and Diego began a romantic dance in Westside Park, under the stars and trees.
Their dance was somewhat awkward, a little drunk, but pleasant and somehow natural, as if it wasn't some kind of surprise. Numerous golden lights blurred in Veruca's eyes. The scent of flowers, honey, and just-begun summer filled her lungs like fresh sweet wine filled a crystal glass. Veruca remembered the time she and Diego had been to the Hogwarts summer festival. It smelled like summer there, too. Memories intertwined with the melody, and suddenly it dawned on her — the same music played at the disco when they won the title of the best couple of the festival! Veruca wanted to laugh, but she didn't: she didn't want to ruin such a tender and romantic moment. Diego even remembered the music they had danced to when they were only sixteen or seventeen. Did he cherish everything connected with it so much that even the music from the festival was imprinted in his memory?..
Veruca's heart ached with love and tenderness. She rested her head on Diego's shoulder. He stroked her back with his hand. The rough palms touched the soft, exposed skin of her back; it was like a tickle, like a butterfly sitting on her back, and then it fluttered up, flapped its wings, and flew away.
She was frightened, excited, and attracted by their closeness. Veruca knew better than to be afraid of Diego, and she trusted him. No, perhaps it was not he who frightened her, but the unknown, the unknown romantic expanses. She was standing right on the edge of the abyss, ready to throw herself into it. The fear was gone. Veruca wanted to do something urgently, so that they would be even closer than they were now.
Even closer. Impossibly close.
The dance was not enough.
Breathing, too.
Veruca couldn't wait any longer. She lifted her head and met Diego's warm gaze. He was looking at her, waiting for something. His hands on her body felt like living, open fire.
Veruca cupped his face in her hands, raised herself on her toes, and pressed her lips to his. And Diego returned the kiss, holding her even tighter.
Veruca froze, feeling her hands grow cold, her head burn; her lips burned as his hot and sensual mouth pressed against hers, and she went limp and soft, her heart ached sweetly in her chest and fluttered with wonder and happiness. The smell of Diego enveloped her — the smell of hot chocolate, perfume and apricot wine, his warm hands, his shirt and smooth hair. They kissed timidly, carefully, as if they might hurt each other. It was... nice. Very much so. She had never been kissed before (the cheek doesn't count), and the kiss with Diego Caplan, her beloved man, was unexpected and completely beautiful. Everything around them — the gazebo, the darkness and cool wind, the wine and food left and the music — didn't matter, because Diego was there, and she was kissing him on the lips for the first time.
Finally, they pulled away. Veruca suddenly felt weak, vulnerable, and at the same time liberated. She did it! She kissed him! She kissed Diego Caplan on the lips herself, and he answered her! She was filled with a sweet delight in herself.
Diego smiled in surprise; he seemed equally shocked and delighted. Veruca heard his voice close to her ear: "What was that, Miss McQuaid?"
"Don't you understand, Mr. Caplan?" Veruca was not left in debt. Then she lowered her voice. "I think the second time you will understand for sure."
"Oh," Diego said knowingly. His eyes flashed. "Would you like to repeat it? I'd love to, believe me."
Veruca was flushed. Merlin, she had to be so drunk to pay compliments that gave a head start to Diego Caplan, the master of compliments! She laughed nervously and started to turn away, but Diego cupped her face in his hands — just as she had done a few minutes ago — and asked softly, "Did you like it?"
She bit her lip. "Yes. And you?"
"Me, too." Diego grinned with a raise of his eyebrows. "Can we try again?"
Veruca laughed and was about to agree when he kissed her. The second kiss was bolder, less innocent. They intertwined their tongues, bit each other's lower lip, hugged, squeezed and clung tighter, embodying in this kiss all that they could not express in words, all that Veruca was so shy, and what she could not get over. Finally, this barrier was overcome.
The second kiss was followed by a third. Veruca and Diego kissed hungrily, feeling an acute lack of each other's warmth. It had been dark for a long time, and the ground was cold, but they were warm, even hot. It was hard to stop. They finally broke away from each other, disheveled and flushed, and their hot foreheads touched.
"You're the best," Diego muttered breathlessly, "woman I've ever had. I adore you."
"And you're the best man I've ever had," Veruca replied with a sly smile. "By the way, I think we have some wine left. Why don't we finish it off?"
"Food is sacred," Diego agreed, and they walked back to the gazebo, holding hands and laughing. A butterfly with bright blue wings, hiding behind one of the light bulbs, fluttered into the air and flew away into the black sky, shimmering with flashing diamond stars, into a summer night full of love...

Oh sweet Heatherwax, I want to say all of them (and now I realize that I shot myself in the foot by asking people to dare me to pick faves while it’s something that I’m notoriously incapable of), but let’s see...
*not me scrolling through your AO3 page and immediately adding everything to my to re-read list*
So it has to be a tie between
do you like drugs (tonight)
Beth and Rio pop ecstasy and get super horny and nonsensical. It features some of the HOTTEST sexy times I’ve ever read, I still feel the urge to lie down every time I think about this sloppy dancing kiss... And drugged!Beth happily and obliviously humping Rio in the middle of the club is absolutely incredible (as her whole POV), and then the MORNING AFTER, oh my God!! I love this sort of grumpy friendship they have with each other! And all their past car seat and bar throne shenanigans!! Perfect! Also there’s more than one occasion to scream “poor Mick!!” which is obviously delicious. It’s gorgeously written and I still stand by what I told you the first time I read it:
Your words are like a soft and warm blanket that insulated me from the outside world, a stress-relieving parenthesis out of time, the rhythm of which was a lullaby for my brain...
Here are a few of my favourite sentences:
God, she hates being in his car. At least the first couple of times his idiotic highness demanded her presence in this ludicrous status symbol, Beth’d been deeply distracted
every time Rio speaks she craves pure ethanol
She’s somehow forever questing to impress him. Yet often ends up hating it when she does.
Of course the man who constantly dares people to shoot him taunts kitchen appliances to damage in similar fashion
and (a) time to kill
I’m a sucker for safe house situations with these two disasters, and this one is just so so good!!!!! There’s so much vulnerability seeping through their grumpy interactions, the comedic vibes are off-the-charts (the image of lunatic!Rio dismounting the bathroom door handle just BECAUSE will haunt me for eternity), and THEY SNUGGLE IN THEIR SLEEP!!!!!!  I absolutely love their disatrous bed-sharing adventures, and there’s so much reluctant softness too, and a heart-breaking obsession for 2.13!! Excellent traumatized!Mick content as well (HOWDY!!!!!!), and I still have DREAMS about this particular moment:
Beth finds she’s snuggled into his arms. It’s not – peculiar, weirdly. Maybe it’s just how much of his company she’s endured the past few days; this is by far the longest amount of time they’ve ever spent together. And all she’s been, for really quite some while, is a series of jumbles.
Muscle memory sparks. Like maybe this happened before, over the past few nights…? But surely not.
Rio goes to untangle, pulled to quasi-wakefulness by the force of her freaking. Beth makes an automatic noise of protest. His eyes crack. There’s a flicker of recognition.
“Back to sleep, sunshine,” he mumbles. Then adds something that sounds very much like it’s about pointy elbows. She hopes that’s him apologising for his, geez.
His hold tightens.
Beth coasts back under.
There’s just so much hidden care and tenderness covered with anger and grief in this fic, and that’s my jam in a nutshell.
Other favourite lines include:
And really – who wears pastels for a spot of afternoon crime?
“I told him I have herpes,” she says, a little nervy. He blinks. If that’s her idea of flirting – you know what. Makes perfect fucking sense, actually.
She doesn’t even have the decency to act like waking someone up screaming is weird. And, worse, she full on shakes him awake at one point to tell him she killed him. Which makes minus quantities of sense.
She must be broken. But he has to be too.
“Burn it. Just. Burn it,”
❤️❤️❤️
Send me 🎨 & I’ll tell you my favorite of your last ten creations

Lukadrien: Among the Wild Things: Chapter Five
Read it on AO3: Among the Wild Things: Chapter Five: Unity
Rose spent the morning dragging Adrien around the town at the center of the enchanted wood, helping him shop for new clothes and other personal items.
Adrien bit his lip nervously as Rose produced gold coin after gold coin to pay for their purchases. He wasn’t sure how much the goods were worth in mortal money, as he had never had to pay for anything before in his life, but he had the feeling that this shopping trip was expensive, and he was beginning to feel guilty.
“Rose,” he called tentatively as they left the second tailor’s shop. “Is there any way I could get some sort of employment, do you think?”
Rose arched an eyebrow at him. “I mean…maybe. I wouldn’t recommend it, but… Why do you ask?”
He lowered his head and his voice. “I just feel really bad. I didn’t mean to become a financial burden, so…I was hoping there was some way I could earn money to pay the family back and contribute somewhat.”
Rose openly laughed at the idea, reaching up to give his ear an affectionate tug. “Oh, Dri. You’re so cute. No, no, no. There is absolutely no need for you to go get a job. Just learn how to do practical things like cooking and cleaning and fixing things and help out around the house. That’s more than enough.”
He was very tempted to take her at her word and let it go, but he still felt like he wasn’t doing his part in comparison with everything the Couffaines were doing for him. “But…I’m sure it costs a great deal of money to keep an additional person fed and clothed. Are you certain I’m not a financial drain on the family?”
She laughed again and shook her head. “Dri, Anarka is clan leader for this whole district. We have plenty of money. Even with all that we’ve spent today, there’s still more than enough left for us all to live very comfortably for decades to come.”
Adrien’s eyes went wide, and he stopped walking. “Wait. You mean… Is Anarka, like…the queen of the fairy kingdom?”
“Not the whole thing,” Rose snickered, endlessly amused by her new mortal brother. “We don’t really have royalty. At least, not in this country. We have Parliament and a Prime Minister here. Anarka is kind of a big deal, though. She’s the appointed representative for this whole district, our ‘clan leader’. She runs things for the area, makes sure that resources are distributed fairly, mediates disagreements…that kind of thing. When all the clan leaders get together to discuss policy matters, she goes and represents our district, so…I don’t know if you humans have anything like that, but that’s what Anarka does.”
Adrien nodded in awed silence, rolling the ideas around in his mind as they began to walk again.
“So, you’re not a burden,” Rose summarized, tugging him towards a third tailor’s. “Come along. We need to get you an outfit for the ceremony tonight.”
Adrien was incredibly nervous as Rose helped him get ready for the ceremony.
She went over the proceedings several times with him, slowly walking him through every step so that he would know what to expect and what would be expected of him.
It still didn’t prepare him for how beautiful the ceremony was and how emotional the whole thing made him.
After sunset, along the bank of Anarka’s lake, the fair folk of the district gathered, seated in rows with a wide aisle between the two sections, not unlike the main aisle of the chapel on the castle’s grounds back home where Adrien was supposed to have gotten married to some duke or another’s daughter.
The clearing was lit with floating orbs of light that looked like fireflies or stars hovering overhead. The trees had been draped with blue, green, and yellow ribbons, and a canopy of vibrant flowers was suspended as if by magic over the spectators.
Anarka was waiting at the end of the aisle to perform the ceremony, dressed in her official clan leader robes.
Luka, looking somehow even more ethereal than the day when Adrien had met him, walked down the aisle first, accompanied by Juleka who proudly carried the red ribbon that would be used to tie Luka and Adrien’s hands together to symbolize their unity.
“Our turn,” Rose whispered once Juleka and Luka had reached Anarka, slipping her arm through Adrien’s and coaxing him down the aisle.
Adrien knew that hundreds of eyes were upon him, but he couldn’t feel their judgmental stares. All he saw was Luka: radiant, handsome, beaming, lovestruck Luka who was looking at Adrien as if he were the sole reason the sun rose in the morning and the stars came out at night.
Adrien floated down the aisle in a trance, and once he reached the end, Luka pulled Adrien into his arms, giving him a squeeze and letting their foreheads rest against one another for a private moment that lasted an eternity.
“Love you,” Luka whispered, not caring who saw how besotted he was with this mortal boy.
“Love you too,” Adrien chuckled, savoring this little pocket of time.
Too soon, they pulled back so that only their hands were joined, and Anarka started the traditional rites.
Anarka spoke for several minutes about love and partnership and respect and supporting one another, but Adrien didn’t hear any of it.
He was too busy drowning in Luka’s presence, trying to memorize the exact shade of aquamarine of Luka’s eyes, the tilt of Luka’s lips as he smiled lovingly back at Adrien, the way the mystical firefly light highlighted some parts of Luka’s face and cast others in shadow, the warmth and weight of Luka’s hands in his own…
Adrien only realized that Anarka had stopped talking when she cleared her throat, looking at Luka expectantly as she silently laughed with her eyes.
“Stop ogling your prince and recite the pledge already,” Juleka prompted with a fond eyeroll.
Luka gave a start and blushed as he came back to himself. He took a deep breath and bashfully recited, “I pledge myself to you, to be your partner in all things, to be your support and your shelter, to forever be on your side, never to trick or deceive you, and to respect and love you always, in this life and the next.”
All eyes turned to Adrien who took a shaky breath and nervously repeated the vow.
His voice cracked, and Luka gave his hand an encouraging squeeze.
They shared a tender smile, and Adrien finished strong with utter conviction in the words, “to respect and love you always, in this life and the next.”
The final part of the relatively quick ceremony (Rose had explained that this was because the afterparty was the main event for the fair folk and that the dancing, drinking, and feasting typically went on until dawn) was the tying of the hands.
Juleka stepped forward and held out the red ribbon to Anarka who gently wrapped it round and round Luka and Adrien’s intertwined hands, saying, “The string of fate now binds you together. You are one. Remember the oaths you pledged one another today, and do no purposeful harm, always act in the other’s best interest, be faithful and true, and never let anything come between you. You are one. Your mate is your other self. Remember that well so that you do not destroy yourself from the inside out. You are one.”
“Now kiss!” Rose stage whispered excitedly.
Adrien stepped in, pressing his mouth firmly to Luka’s ready and willing lips.
Luka responded eagerly as the applause of the gathered crowd faded into the background unnoticed as the couple focused every fiber of their attention on one another.
Slowly, Luka pulled back and gave Adrien’s cheek a reverent lick before carefully leading Adrien back down the aisle.
Adrien happened to catch glimpses of the expressions of some of the creatures who had gathered to celebrate their union. Some looked bored or indifferent, and others were scornful, but the majority of the faces Adrien spied as they made their exit seemed to be wearing positive expressions.
Adrien hadn’t been sure exactly what to expect. The fair folk he’d met earlier that day on his shopping trip with Rose had seemed pleasant enough, but the way Juleka had talked about the idea of Luka marrying a mortal and what the community would think hadn’t left Adrien optimistic…but maybe things would be okay after all.
They made it to the end of the aisle, and Anarka, Rose, and Juleka soon followed to help them untie their hands as the congregation started to file out on their way to the afterparty.
Adrien was introduced to over a hundred people and had a hard time keeping up with names, but most people were nice and repeated their names several times without being asked, and Luka and Rose made sure to say people’s names over and over throughout conversations to help Adrien out.
The banquet was delicious with dozens of dishes spread out on a long table by the lakeside that seemed to magically refill itself whenever the serving trays ran low.
The firefly orbs hovered overhead, and the guests gathered around bonfires to eat and mingle, giving the clearing a warm, cozy atmosphere.
Luka stayed close at Adrien’s side the majority of the night, but he occasionally got pulled away by some important person or another who had known him since he was a child and wanted to talk to him one-on-one to impart sage advice. At those times, Rose swooped in to play chaperon so that Adrien was never without a familiar face.
Adrien slowly began to feel like he had his feet under him as the night went on, and he even started to make friends. Ivan and his sweetheart Mylène were trolls from the foot of the mountain not far off from Anarka’s lake, and Ivan had been playing in a band with Luka, Rose, and Juleka for some time. Mylène was close friends with Juleka and Rose and very sweet and welcoming to Adrien.
It turned out that Alya, a fox spirit, was extremely curious about human beings and had often snuck away to visit the town surrounding Adrien’s castle. She and Adrien had a long discussion about human customs that Alya had always found fascinating but never understood.
Kim (a selkie), Max (a nix), Alix (a lamia), and Ondine (a siren) came from a lake on the other side of the trolls’ mountain and were all in some kind of polyamorous relationship with one another. They were very friendly, and Adrien had a good time talking with them and watching as Kim and Alix competed with one another, seeing who could eat more bite-sized yuzu tarts in one minute, who could fit more dates into their mouth at once, and who could swim more laps of the lake. Ondine joined in this last contest and won.
Adrien decided to participate when they competed to see who could swim down to the bottom of the lake the fastest. He lost by quite a bit, but everyone gave him credit for his efforts despite being at a clear disadvantage.
They were all laughing on the lakeshore when Luka found them.
“Do you guys mind if I steal my mate back from you?” he chuckled, smiling proudly at the fact that Adrien had managed to make friends.
“Actually, we’re thinking about annexing him,” Max joked, and his mates all joined in, affirming this assertion.
“Not funny,” Luka snorted, reaching down to pull Adrien up to his feet. “Mine,” he announced, wrapping his arms around Adrien and nuzzling his neck possessively.
“Luc,” Adrien chuckled. “They’re not serious. Relax,” he coaxed, turning around in Luka’s arms to give his cheek a dutiful lick. “You’re the only one for me.”
“Aww,” Ondine and Rose chorused while Alix made gagging sounds at the romantic display.
“Go ahead and go do nasty, couple-y things,” Kim snickered, waving them off. “You have our blessing, but know that we’ve got our eyes on your sexy human boy.”
“You are so crude,” Max sighed, shaking his head in fond exasperation as he patted Kim on the shoulder.
“Come on, Love,” Luka called gently, tugging Adrien away.
“It was nice meeting you all!” Adrien called back to them. “We’ll have to hang out again some time.”
“For sure!” Alix answered for them all.
“I’m glad you’re making friends,” Luka remarked as he led Adrien away from the crowd, into the woods.
“Me too,” Adrien chuckled giddily. “I think I mentioned before that I wasn’t really allowed to interact with peers much back at court. I mean, Chloé and Kagami and Lila were kind of sort of my friends, but…it was more in name only most of the time. Chloé and Kagami were a little closer to me, and we did connect sometimes, but…I didn’t really feel like I could be my true self with them. Their expectations were a little restrictive. I was really only myself in front of Nino and Marinette, but the crown prince isn’t really allowed to hang out with his guard and his seamstress, so… It means a lot to me to finally be able to freely interact with people,” he summarized.
“I’m so glad that you’re finally getting this opportunity,” Luka stressed as he came to a stop in a small clearing where the glow of the bonfires and fireflies just barely reached.
Adrien took a moment to look around curiously in the dim lighting. “So…what brings us here?”
“Nothing in particular,” Luka explained, sheepishly scratching at his cheek. “It’s just a secluded place, and I haven’t been truly alone with you since we left our room this morning, so…can you really blame me for wanting to be alone with my—what’s the human word for it again? Husband?”
“Husband,” Adrien agreed, pulling Luka into his arms and giving his throat a slow lick.
Luka shivered, letting out a low nicker of pleasure.
“I love that sound,” Adrien hummed happily.
“I’ll be sure to make it more often,” Luka chuckled, nuzzling Adrien’s hair.
“Mm,” Adrien agreed contentedly, savoring the sensation of having Luka in his arms. “…I feel like I’m living in a fairy story.”
“Is that a good thing?” Luka had to wonder.
“Mmhm,” Adrien confirmed. “In the stories my mother used to tell me, the princess always escaped from her evil stepmother’s clutches and found her prince and lived happily ever after. Now, here I am escaping my father’s plan to make me miserable and force me to be just like him, marrying my kelpie prince, and on my way to living very, very happily with him.”
“I’m not a prince, though,” Luka chuckled.
Adrien rolled his eyes. “Clan leader’s son. Whatever. Same difference.”
“Not really. My mother is an elected official,” Luka clarified, delighting in teasing his mate and seeing him pout. “The power of her office doesn’t extend to me.”
Adrien looked up at Luka and glared, “Orpheus, stop poking holes in my personal fairy story with your dumb facts. I’m trying to be a starry-eyed romantic over here. Where’s Rose?” He looked back at the crowd of revelers, trying to spot his sister-in-law. “She would get it.”
“I get it. I get it,” Luka protested, pulling Adrien back in close. “I was just teasing. I’m sorry.”
“Meh. I guess I forgive you,” Adrien snickered. “But only because it would be lame to be mad at you on our wedding night.”
“I thought last night was our wedding night?” Luka chuckled. “Didn’t we get married yesterday?” He hummed as he ran his fingers over the impromptu ring that Adrien still wore.
“Yes,” Adrien decided in a measured tone, “but tonight is too. Yesterday we celebrated like my people. Today we’re celebrating like your people so that it feels legitimate to both of us; therefore, we get two wedding nights.”
Luka bit his lip as he considered Adrien’s words. He pulled back to meet Adrien’s gaze as he hesitantly remarked, “You seem a little insecure about the legitimacy of our union. Are you okay, or is this something you want to talk about, or…?”
Adrien looked away, training his gaze on the party guests. He breathed a deep sigh as he replied, “…I don’t know. It’s just that almost all my life I knew I didn’t like girls like I was supposed to. I was always so scared that someone would find out, and I was always so jealous of the princesses who had been born ‘right’ so that it was okay for them to fall in love with and marry princes, so… Where I come from, what I feel for you is wrong. Expressing our love together is a crime, so…if you were a human like me, this wouldn’t be possible. I couldn’t be your husband, and we’d have to sneak away together in shame and hope that no one ever caught us because they would kill you and lock me up in a tower until they found some suitable woman to marry me off to, so…”
Adrien took a big breath and looked back at Luka with tears beading in the corners of his eyes. “So, yeah. I’m kind of insecure about the legitimacy of our union because, where I come from, our union isn’t legitimate. I never thought I’d be able to have this with someone I love. I thought I was doomed to be alone and miserable my whole life, but…”
He shook his head and shrugged. “Yeah. Being able to have a wedding and be treated by the community as a real couple is a big deal for me. I’ve wanted this so badly for so long, and I’m scared stiff that someone’s going to take it away.”
“No one is taking me away from you,” Luka promised, stepping in and resting his forehead against Adrien’s. “You heard what my mother said during the ceremony, right? You and I are one. The string of fate binds us together, and no one is capable of severing our bond. Not even your father. We’re safe, Little Prince. No one can break us apart.”
“Oh,” Adrien breathed, relaxing into Luka’s hold.
“Mmhm,” Luka whispered. “You’re mine now. Always. Just like I’m yours. We’ve got the rings on our fingers and the bite marks on our shoulders to prove it, don’t we?”
“Yeah,” Adrien mumbled tiredly, setting his head down on Luka’s shoulder. “You’re right. We’re safe, aren’t we?”
“Absolutely,” Luka assured, gently rocking Adrien from side to side.
They stayed there for a long time, holding one another and swaying in rhythm to the music coming from the clearing just beyond the trees.
Luka eventually began to hum along, and the calming sound of his husband’s breathy vocalizations nearly lulled Adrien to sleep as all tension left him.
“Hey,” Luka called softly, causing Adrien to stir.
“Hm?”
“Dance with me,” Luka entreated. “Teach me a human dance.”
“A human dance?” Adrien chuckled.
“I’ve seen humans dance before, so I know you do it,” Luka playfully accused. “Don’t play dumb with me, Little Prince. Show me your cultural practices.”
“I’m not a very good dancer,” Adrien excused himself perfunctorily, “but I guess I could try teaching you to slow dance.”
“Slow dance?” Luka echoed, intrigued. “Okay. Sure. Show me.”
“Here.” Adrien took Luka’s right hand in his own and guided Luka’s left hand up to rest on Adrien’s shoulder. He placed his right hand at the small of Luka’s back. “This is a standard dance hold. Now, all we’re going to do is step-touch with our feet back and forth. See?”
Adrien slowly stepped to the right and touched his left foot to the ground before stepping back to the left and touching with his right foot.
Tentatively, Luka joined in, mirroring Adrien.
“Okay. I think I’ve got it. Now what?” Luka prompted after several rounds of step-touching.
“Now we move,” Adrien informed with a smile, using his hands as leverage to guide Luka into a turn. “Just keep step-touching and follow where I lead you,” he instructed and found that Luka was a quick study.
“We’re dancing,” Luka laughed gleefully as Adrien carefully guided him around the clearing.
“Yep. You’re a really good student, Orpheus,” Adrien praised. “…Do you want to try leading now?”
“May I?” Luka questioned with a tentative eagerness.
Adrien readily nodded and stopped to change the positions of their hands. “Just lead me where you want me to go with a gentle pressure, and I’ll follow.”
Luka pursed his lips and furrowed his brow in concentration as they began to move. He was hesitant and careful, almost as if he were afraid of hurting Adrien.
“Luka,” Adrien called softly, “You’re not going to break me. I mean…you could if you wanted to, but you don’t, so you’re not going to. I trust you.”
Luka’s teeth sank deeper into his lip. “I worry that you trust me too much sometimes.”
Adrien shook his head. “You worry too much.”
“That’s what Juleka said,” Luka sighed.
“You weren’t so careful yesterday when we were in bed,” Adrien baited and did an internal victory dance as his husband’s face flushed scarlet.
“That… You…” Luka struggled to produce sentences. “Naughty human.”
“Very,” Adrien agreed with a devilish smirk.
“Hush. We’re dancing now,” Luka pouted, proceeding to lead Adrien around the clearing more assertively.
“There you go,” Adrien praised, proud at how quickly Luka was picking up the steps. “It must be a musician thing. You’re really good at this.”
“Maybe,” Luka allowed. “But aren’t you a musician too? You said you played the harpsicord, didn’t you?”
“Meh. I’m just a hobbyist,” Adrien deflected with a shrug. “You’re the real musician in this marriage.”
Luka hummed thoughtfully. “We Couffaines are all musicians. Music is in our blood. Maybe it’ll rub off on you.”
“Hm… I’d like that,” Adrien decided.
“…Teach me another dance?” Luka requested after they’d been going for some time.
“Maybe some other time,” Adrien answered apologetically. “The rest of the dances I know are kind of complicated. It would take a while to explain the figures, so we wouldn’t be able to actual dance right away, and I want to keep dancing with you.”
“Oh, all right,” Luka relented. “But I’m holding you to it.”
“Sure,” Adrien agreed. “Maybe you could even teach me some of your people’s dances too.”
“It would be my pleasure,” Luka assured. “The fair folk adore singing and dancing and merrymaking.”
“Then, I’ll show you a different version of the slow dance,” Adrien proposed, stepping in and circling his arms around Luka’s neck. “Put your hands on my waist,” he directed, and Luka complied. “Now, we just sway from side to side and shuffle our feet around a little.”
“Not a very exciting dance,” Luka started to chuckle but then abruptly stopped laughing as Adrien came in closer until their bodies were pressed flush together. “Oh.”
“Yeah,” Adrien purred. “It’s a nice, simple dance.”
“I like this dance,” Luka reported.
“This is the first time I’ve ever enjoyed it,” Adrien sighed, laying his head down on Luka’s shoulder. “Usually, it’s just a hurtful reminder of how I’m broken…when I’m at banquets and have to dance with women,” he elaborated.
“You’re not broken, My Love,” Luka cooed into Adrien’s hair. “You’re perfect just as you are.”
“I’m finally starting to believe that,” Adrien whispered. “It’s just…all this time, I was told that people like me were sick and disgusting. I guess there’s still a part of me that believes that lie.”
“Your society is what’s broken,” Luka insisted, squeezing Adrien tighter. “It’s okay, though. You’re safe here, and day by day it’s going to get easier to believe that there’s nothing wrong with you. It’s going to get easier.”
“Yeah,” Adrien breathed softly, melting into Luka’s embrace and trying to let go of all the baggage that had continually held him down throughout his life.
They swayed gently from side to side, enjoying this stolen moment together for as long as it would last.
Eventually, they slowly pulled away and gazed at each other with pure love in their eyes.
“Want to head back to the party?” Luka suggested, tipping his head back towards the clearing by the lake where the revelers were still eating, drinking, and dancing like it was their occupation.
Adrien shook his head, an impish smile peeking out from around the corner of his lips. “I want to head back to our room. Like you said earlier, we haven’t really been alone all day since we left our room this morning, and I want my husband all to myself.”
“Oh,” Luka snickered, eyes flickering with mischief. “Well, then. That can certainly be arranged.”
Adrien pursed his lips, cautiously inquiring, “We’re not going to offend anyone by sneaking off, are we? I don’t want to start my life here off on the wrong foot.”
Luka shook his head with a knowing smile, taking Adrien’s hand and leading him back towards the lake. “Trust me, so long as there’s food and wine and music, ninety-nine percent of our guests won’t care.”
Adrien’s brow furrowed slightly. “What about the other one percent?”
Luka chuckled. “That would be Maman, Rose, and Juleka, and Maman and Rose would find the reason for our truancy amusing.”
Adrien nodded slowly in understanding. “And Juleka already hates me anyway, so it doesn’t really matter.”
Luka flinched, shooting his mate a pleading look. “She doesn’t hate you, My Love. It’s just very complicated…. Please give her time.”
Adrien bit the inside of his cheek.
It sure felt like Juleka hated him, but…how did he really know what was going on inside his sister-in-law’s head? Luka had mentioned that she’d been traumatized by her interactions with humans when she was very young, and Adrien could plainly see why she didn’t want her brother marrying a mortal. He could understand some of the reasons why Juleka potentially didn’t like him, but that didn’t make her rejection of him hurt less.
Still.
Adrien was the cause of the Couffaines’ lives being turned upside-down, and yet they were treating him well and attempting to adapt. Rose had outright befriended him, and Anarka was trying her best despite her misgivings. Juleka wasn’t friendly, but she wasn’t making his life hell (which it would be well within her power to do) either.
The Couffaines’ reception of Adrien was far warmer than Luka’s would have been at court if their roles were reversed and Adrien had brought a kelpie fiancé home.
The least Adrien could do was be patient and give them time.
He forced his lips into a small smile and nodded dutifully. “Okay,” he acquiesced, giving Luka’s hand a gentle squeeze. “I’ll do my best. She did say yesterday that it was nothing personal, so…she’s probably just worried about you. I can tell she really loves you.”
Luka returned Adrien’s forced smile with a genuinely grateful one. “She does, and I love her too. I’m very close with my sister, so it makes me sick to think that my relationship with one of you could drive a wedge between me and the other. I know it’s very difficult for the both of you, but…if you two could just keep trying, it would mean the world to me.”
Adrien stopped to pull Luka in for a bolstering kiss. “Don’t worry, My Love. I would never do that to you, and if Juleka really does love you, she wouldn’t either. You’ll never have to choose between us. Okay?”
Luka placed a grateful kiss on Adrien’s forehead, affirming, “Okay. Thank you, Adrien.”
A jolt went through Adrien at Luka’s use of his real name, coursing through his veins and spreading out across his entire body. He pulled Luka in for another, rougher kiss, whispering, “Anything for you,” against Luka’s lips.
Luka hummed into the kiss, loving when Adrien’s buried assertive nature came out. “We really need to get home now.”
“Agreed,” Adrien sighed longingly, employing all of his self-control not to pounce his husband then and there on the lakeshore.

The Feeling is Mutual
Yandere Hawks x Yandere + Tsundere reader
Tw: yandere, obsession, stalking, cussing, violence, murder
Enjoy!
----------------------------------------------------------------
You were currently running for your life. Why? Because you're a badass. But really, a sleazy pervert thought he had the right to touch you. Too bad, you punch quite hard.
"Get back here you little bitch!" The pervert was definitely strong due to his muscular build but you were definitely fast.
Thundering footsteps take the quiet alley by storm as you start to pull ahead of him.
"Go suck a dick, you bag of cat piss!" You look back to mock him but your feet disapprove. Your face scrapes against the lose gravel along with your hands and knees. "Fuck...."
"Wanna repeat yourself?" He comes to a stop at your side, bends down, and yanks you up by your hair.
"You disgusting bag of cat piss!" Once again you're too cocky for your own good. You spit in his face and he throws you against the wall.
"Little bitch!" He wipes his face before grabbing your throat, pinning you to the wall, and raising his fist.
"Do it, you bag of cat piss!"
His face fumes red as he tries to hit you, only to be stopped by vivid red feathers.
"What the hell?" His grip on you loosens so you take the opportunity to kick him in his precious no-no square. He collapses in pain and grovels on the ground.
"Hehe do I get a thanks for saving that pretty face of yours?" You instantly feel your blood boil but as you look at your "savior" the only thing you feel heat up are your cheeks.
His whole appearance was absolutely delicious but what caught you most was how god damn beautiful his wings are.
"Hehe what's wrong, like what you see?" This over grow chicken then takes it upon himself to flex his arms and wings.
You scoff. "Nope." 'What. The. Fuck. What's wrong with you me!?!' You turn to hide your blushing face to help imply your unimpressed demeanor.
"Owwww you wound me! Anyway why were you running from that guy, doll?" You choke on the air, trying to register the pet name he gave you.
"Pfft doll? Try coming up with something more original, stranger." As you make your witty remark, both of you fail to notice the pervert silently escaping. It wasnt like he mattered anyway.
"Fair point, angel. Name's Hawks." He holds out a hand for you to shake. Somehow this name was even more cheesy but you loved it.
"As if that's better..." 'Shut the hell up with your sass!'
You go to shake Hawks' hand but before you can grab his, he grabs yours. He swiftly but gently pulls your hand to his lips to place a kiss atop of it. You snatched your hand away at mock speed.
Embarrassed and flustered to manage to stutter out, "H-hey! That's disgusting! I still have no idea who the hell you are!" But you loved it oh so much.
He merely laughs. "Well you can trust me, plus I dont know who you are so, what's your name?"
"What do you mean 'you can trust me'?"
"Awe, ignoring my question? Anyway what I mean by that is I'm pretty trustworthy. Being number 2. hero and all." Hawks leisurely puts his hands behind his head.
All you felt was utter shock. Not only did the number 2. hero come and "rescue" you but he has been FLIRTING with you.
"So? I still dont know who you are." 'Oh my god, you absolute idiot you have no hope.' But he just laughs it off.
"Still a valid point so let's make a deal. I give you my first name and you give me yours plus your number." You have to stop yourself from gagging at how adorable and cheesy that was.
You give him a deer in the headlights look.
"Oh c'mon! I'm basically putting my whole identity on the line and all I'm asking is for your digits plus a name."
"But why?" 'Stop questioning it and take it!'
"Why not?" You give a final scoff before mumbling something. "Can you repeat that a little louder angel?"
"(y/n)."
"(y/n). (y/n).(y/n).(y/n).(y/n).(y/n).(y/n).(y/n).(y/n)."
"What the hell are you doing? Stop saying my name." 'No, please keep saying it.'
"I'm saying it eight times so I never forget it. Cuz, ya know, eight on its side is the infinity symbol." He smiles the most innocent and pure smile anyone could make.
Your heart squeezes as you cant handle this. "That's dumb..."
"Maybe but you still need to give me your number."
"Name first."
"Ooo assertive, I like!" He steps closer causing you to step back.
'Please come closer.'
Very quickly your back hits the wall and Hawks brings his face dangerously close to your ear.
"Keigo." His voice was deep and had the effect of honey in your ear. It happened slowly leaving the sound stuck in your ear yet still traveling through your body.
As quickly as it happened, Keigo had pulled away and passed you his phone.
"Keep my name a secret, 'kay?" He smiles and winks only causeing you to function less and less.
"Whatever..." You put in your number and name, passing the phone back to Keigo.
"Thanks angel! I'd love to text you right away but I'm still on patrol so be sure to look out for my text later!" He swoops up your hand again to give it another kiss before flying off.
"Hey!" His response was laughter. As you begin to walk back towards your destination your face cools and you hold your hand close.
'He's suck a dummy but he's my dummy.'
Around 6:30 pm you receive a text from an unknown number.
'Hey angel.'
'Hey over grown chicken.' "Why the hell are you being so mean?!"
'lol are you calling me big?'
'Nope, tiny with succulent wings.'
'So you're only using me for my wings?! 😭'
'Yup!'
'Daw you dont need to lie to me angel.'
'But lying is so fun~'
'So you were lying!'
'....shit.'
'Ha! I knew I was irresistible.'
'Irresistible to carnivores.'
'You're an omnivore.'
'I have amazing self control.'
'Oh? prove it.'
'Pfft how?"
You leave the kitchen with your snack and plop on your bed. You were too engrossed in your conversation with Keigo that you didnt notice him peering through your window.
He simply adored how you try to contain how happy you become when you get a message from him.
Now was the test to see if you truely had amazing self control. Your phone buzzes and you quickly switch to your messages only to nearly die.
Inches from your face was the sexiest abb picture you've ever seen. His body was so well toned and to add to the picture his wings make up most of the background with very little blue sky poking through.
You were too distracted oogling and drooling over a simple picture it took a moment before you noticed his next texts.
'How's that self control treating ya?'
'I bet you're drooling over me.'
You pout, send a reply, and set your phone down.
'I think I'm a vegan now.'
After a second Keigo can notice the panic on your face as a faint "was that too mean?" was heard.
'Then I guess I'm the forbidden fruit.'
You bite your lip as you switch over to social media. Before your little banter started you were stalking his accounts. You didnt follow him or like any of his posts so he wouldnt be given that satisfaction but you truely did like them.
The only thing you disliked was how there were other girls who thought they could ever get with YOUR Hawks. He asked YOUR number and gave YOU his name. Clearly he was yours.
'Hey, you still there?'
'I like forbiden fruit. I have to shower. I'll text you in the morning, sweet dreams❤'
Keigo's heart flutters at the simple message. He flies home to shower as well.
While in the shower you slowly think of ways to eliminate the girls who think they can look at your Darling.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Two weeks have passed and have you been a little busy bee. You had to work to sustain life but you made it to every event your beloved was at. You made it to every meet and greet, interview, photoshoot, villain attack, his window at night. It really helped that you have a stealth quirk, so that way you wont be entirely in debt!
It wasnt like Keigo to not notice he was being followed, he knew exactly what you were doing, but he felt too endeared that his angel was watching out for him. He was also quite impressed on how you were able to sneak into his interviews and photoshoots.
Keigo felt guilty not being able to give you the attention you deserve but he tries to make up for it by watching you on his patrols and after you leave his house to go to sleep.
Tonight was no different as Keigo was perched on your apartment balcony. You liked to sleep with the curtains drawn back so you can see the stars but you always forgot to lock that door. Did you ever lock it?
Keigo silently fusses over how dangerous that is as he opens the door and kneels down at the side of your bed. His left hand holds on of yours as his right cups your face.
He was addicted to watching your sleeping face. So innocent. Plus he got a break from your adorable tsundere additude. Dont get him wrong, he loved it just he desires affection too.
He slowly retracts his hands to pull out his phone to take a picture. He probably had hundreds of pictures of your sleeping face but he needed to document everything. Tonight you must be having a bad dream, evident by the fact your eyebrows were scrunched and you sticking your tongue out ever so slightly.
"You need to stop being so adorable angel." He takes his pictures and kisses you forehead.
He wanted nothing more than to cuddle you but he had an extra early patrol. He slides the door to your balcony closed and flies off.
When you wake up with your mouth dryer than a desert. "Blah..." You grab your phone and text Keigo.
'Goodmorning early bird.'
You knew he'd be awake. You had memorized his schedule. Today after patrol he had a meet and greet then a photoshoot.
'Morning beautiful.'
You truely cant help smiling and blushing at all the cute things he says to you.
'How'd you sleep?'
'What's this? Concern????'
You roll your eyes at his teasing continue to eat your breakfast.
'Keep teasing me and it wont happen again.'
'lol sorry angel, I slept ok but it would've been better with you~'
Did he just say that? Oh my god he just said that.
(y/n). exe has stopped working. As your brain starts to reboot, your phone pings.
'How'd you sleep?'
The witty comments part of your brain was still rebooting, preventing the tsundere in you to actually work.
'Maybe if we spent the night together we'd sleep better.'
Now this caught Keigo off guard. He expected to be called a pervert or weirdo. Not for you to agree.
'Do you maybe wanna watch a movie tonight?'
He gotta shoot his shot sometime. Why not now?
Your brain could not comprehend what was happening. Were you dreaming? No, your sure you're awake. Was he joking? No, he didn't seem like the type to jokingly ask that. Maybe the world was just rewarding you for being so dedicated and loyal. That's probably it.
'Where and when?'
Keigo does a few flips in the sky to try and ease his excitement. Too bad that fails. "Its a date!"
'6 @ my place?'
'You better pick me up on time and have dinner prepared.'
'Anything for you angel!'
"Oh my fucking god it's a date." You jump up and down excited, running to your closet to pick out your outfit.
Since it wasnt a fancy restaurant or anything you decide to go more casual. A cute sundress maybe? Either way you put on your outfit and head out the door to go to your darling's meet and greet. It wasnt too far from your apartment so you were able to take a leisurely stroll there.
As you arrive you see the big crowd already forming. You didnt want to get your outfit dirty so you decide to stay more towards the back. A peppy blonde girl pushes you slightly to the side.
"Bitch.." you mumbled under your breath.
"Uh what did you just say?"
Not wanting to embarrass Keigo or have him have to separate a girl fight you decide to step down. "Nothing."
"Good choice bitch."
As the two of you reach the middle of the crowd, the girl takes out her phone. It was hard not to ease drop when she is purposely talking in your ear.
"Hawks is so hot. I bet he has a big dick too. Maybe after this he'll let me take some of that stress off of him~!" She puffs her chest out trying to get a reaction from you.
On the outside you're calm and collected but inside all hell was breaking lose. You wanted to snap her neck, pull out her fingernails, and slice off her tits.
Seeing as you're unfazed she continues. "I bet he'd be screaming how good I make him feel. He'd ask for my number and I'd break his heart. He is just a hunky of meat after all."
That's it.
You activate your stealth quirk and she questions where you went. You pull out a knife you always have on you, just in case, and glide it against her throat in a swift but silent manner. She collapses to the ground and a shrill scream sounds, alerting everyone near.
Before you run, you look at Keigo. His eyes meet yours. You know he can see you even if you were invisible. You know he knows you just killed her. His face holds disbelief but his eyes shimmer and smile for him.
You run from the crime scene and wash the blood from your hands.
Six o-clock slowly arrives and there was a knock on your door. You know its Keigo but you dont know how he found your adress. Opening the door you see him smiling so brightly.
"My little angel shed her white wings!" He traps you in a hug. You gladly hug him back.
"You're not mad?"
"Of course not! You did it for me didnt you?" You look up at him and nod. "Then its perfectly fine." He smiles at you before picking you up bridal style and closing your door.
"We better hurry, dinner is getting cold."

Chapter 18 – The Wedding
It was night, the sun had gone to bed and the sky was blanketed with stars. As was the custom in this village he was preparing to ride to claim his bride. Geralt stood dressed in his formal dress blacks, the only Jewellery the medallion hanging around his neck. His thick hair the whitest it had ever been after Jaskier insisted that it be washed with some special soap. He smelt of Chamomile and Honey. Funny, Julia had never commented on his smell except for when he had been around the horses too much. But tonight, he would have bathed in the petals of roses if he thought Julia would like it, and Jaskier did understand the female gender better than he did. The last thing he held was his bouquet of flowers to present to Julia. As Visenna and Yen had walked home with him he had remembered Tobias the day he went to get his bride, and how important it had been that he got it right. Well, this small bunch of wildflowers they had picked on the way back to the inn was not expensive or exotic but they represented him.
His Brothers, Father, Mother, Daughter, and closest friends behind him on their horses moved through town to the road leading to the estate. He was not sure what to expect as he had been waiting at the estate when Tobias and Renee were given to each other. All he was instructed to do was to ride to the house and kneel before Tobias asking for his blessing as the man of the house. As they reached the road leading to the estate, he saw an eery glow, as he got closer, he saw Villagers lining each side. The whole village must have turned out because It looked like the road to the estate was completely lined with Lanterns.
As he slowly pasted each lantern the villagers smiled at him and fell in behind the small band so that by the time, he got to the estate a large crowd was following. Geralt had never felt so accepted and loved. He dismounted at the entrance to the estate and the rest of his family followed suit. Jolna, Petra, and another servant took the horses as the progression walked the final distance to the house.
As he drew nearer, he stopped, the breath knocked from him at the sight of Julia holding her lamp the symbol of her love for him. She was breathtaking, her reddish-brown hair hung in curls around her shoulders and the top part was braided around her head to symbolize a crown. It was dotted with small white flowers and covered with a thin sheer vale. Her dress was made with the finest white silk edged with ivory and a bright royal purple sash accentuated her small waist. Around her neck was the finest lace wire that held the most beautiful mix of purple and ivory crystals. To Geralt she was perfect.
With moist eyes he made his final steps to the house, as instructed he went to Tobias who was standing with Renee. Kneeling before him, Geralt suddenly felt nervous, the whole village was watching, listening, and the words seemed to have gotten stuck in his throat. He looked up at Tobias who was smiling down at him. This gave him courage so he spoke with a clear baritone voice "Tobias Son of Julia of Wolnosci I have come here today to humbly ask for your blessing, I have fallen in love with your mother, and I wish to ask her to be my wife. I promise to cherish her all the days of her life and to honour this family all the days of my life."
Tobias replied to Geralt an unshed tear glistening in his eye "Geralt of Rivia, Renee, and I have watched from the beginning of your time here. We both saw the spark that lit between you during the days of your recovery. It has been an honour to watch as that spark became a flame. I have also observed your integrity, compassion, and gentleness as you worked with the horses, shared chores with the servants, and assisted the community. The greatest joy I had was watching you with Ciri and Julia, your love was evident for them both in every action, tenderness in touch and cherishing of spirit. It would be my honour to give you our blessing and welcome you into our family as a husband to Julia and Father to our house. But I can only give you my blessing, there is only one who can accept your offer."
Julia watched as Geralt humbled himself before Tobias, this tall muscular warrior was on his knees for her. It made her heart swell when he made his pledge to cherish her all the days of her life and her family all the days of his. To know that even when she was gone he would still be there to protect and love her family filled her with joy to almost overflowing. Tobias was talking to her and a chuckle could be heard coming from the crowd making Julia realise she had missed something. Geralt's facelifted in a gentle smile as he looked at her holding out a beautiful bunch of wildflowers "Ohh" Julia spoke softly taking the simple and yet beautiful bunch which spoke of Geralt's heart for her. Turning to Tobias she said with a soft but mischiefs voice "sorry I was distracted by this handsome warrior before me, presenting me this sweet bouquet. Can you repeat the question?"
Laughter bubbled loudly from the crowd as Tobias said with a chuckle "Mother, Do you take this man to be your husband, to fight life's hardships together by his side. To cherish each day and hold the memory's close. As you walk life's journey together?" Julia looked up into Geralt's Yellow amber eyes moist with tears the most precious gift he could give her and said in a firm and loud voice "With every fiber of my being Yes I will"
A great cheer rose from the Village as Geralt lifted her vale and placed a chaste kiss on her lips. Together they turned to Geralt's family. Julia had practiced what she wanted to do next as unlike most weddings she would not be presented to Geralt's mother but before she could speak a woman with red hair stepped from the crowd of his brothers. She looked to Geralt who only nodded the unspoken request. She came close to Julia and held out her hand taking Geralt's and Julia's hands she said in a voice that carried across the valley "My name is Visenna I am Geralt's mother." Julia gasped in shock and surprise at this regal woman standing before her. Geralt's free hand drew Julia close to his side as Visenna continued to speak "I know this is a surprise for you but if you are willing I would like to say a blessing over you" Both Geralt and Julia tears now flowing silently down her cheeks nodded their consent.
Visenna began to sing a lilting melody that floated around Julia and Geralt "May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon the fields. May the light of friendship guide your paths together. May the laughter of children grace the halls of your home. May the joy of living for one another trip a smile from your lips, a twinkle from your eye and today may the spirit of love find a dwelling place in your hearts" Lifting her eyes to the couple before her, Visenna declared, "I pray that life will be sweet for you both but above all that you will live a long full life together." With that Julia pulled the woman into a hug holding her tight. At first, she felt the resistance and fear but the longer she was in Julia's arms the more she relaxed and returned the hug.
Standing back from Visenna Julia looked to the rest of the family. Seeing Ciri she beckoned her to come forward and pulling her into her side 3then smiled at the rest. Julia spoke loudly enough that all the Village could hear "To you Vesemir, Eskel, Lambert and Coen, To you Visenna, Yennefer, Ciri, and Jaskier. This Home is now your home this Village is now your Village and whether you stay a day, month, or a lifetime we will always call you family." The Village once again gave a cheer, Tobias who stood closest to the door now turned and said with his loudest voice "Welcome Family it's now time to celebrate"
Geralt, Julia, and Ciri turned together and were ushered to the front of the line to enter the house. Excitement grew in Julia as they headed to the banquet hall, she had been itching to see what the girls had prepared for her and Geralt. Hannah, Ruth, and Nessie were waiting by the door to welcome them to the banquet. All three of them had bright smiles and unshed tears in their eyes. Pushing the doors open they let Geralt, Julia, and Ciri into the room.
Julia quickly put her hand to her mouth as a sob escaped, the room was almost like it had been all those years ago. But it was oh so much better. The Columns had ivy wrapped around them from floor to ceiling and randomly were hung Crystals of every colour. The tables were adorned with Ivory clothe, Ivory and Gold crockery, and Crystal glasses. The centerpieces were mixtures of wildflowers representing all the colours of spring and Candles surrounded by Prisms creating floating rainbows that danced over every wall. To say Julia was overwhelmed was an understatement. She felt Geralt's hand on her back as he slowly ushered her to the honoured seats of the bride and groom.
The room filled to overflowing and Julia found out later that they had set up chairs and tables in every spare room to accommodate the whole village. This was her family that Wilfred and Julia had cherished and now they were cherishing Geralt and his family. It warmed her heart and so did the warm body beside her. Geralt had tucked her against him as a sign that from today if he could make it happen, they would never be parted. At this, the night progressed with delicious food wonderful music, and the sounds of joy and laughter.
As Midnight approached Geralt leaned down to whisper into his beloved's ear, "My love I think it will be acceptable for us to be excused now." A soft smile lingering on his breath. Chuckling Julia looked up into his handsome face, she could see the candlelight dancing across his strong jaw and white hair which she had noticed had been washed and was right now awash with coloured rainbows. This caused her to giggle maybe she should call him her rainbow boy from now on. Still, it was the look in his eyes that caused her breath to hitch. They were soft and yet held a hunger that she knew they had worked hard to keep in check. Returning his gaze and hoping he could see the same desire in hers she breathed "Yes"
Geralt stood and helping Julia to her feet lifted her into his arms, smiling to the room he declared "Well folks keep eating drinking and making merry, Thank you for celebrating with us but we hope you don't mind we are ready to go do some celebrating on our own." Julia blushed at Geralt's brashness but smiled a farewell to the room. As they left the banquet Geralt walked swiftly down the hall to their chambers while Julia snuggled deeper into his arms. This strong warrior was her husband they no longer needed to steal kisses and keep battling with temptation. Tonight, was theirs to enjoy.
Julia smiled as they entered their chambers, the girls had been busy. The Fire had been lit, and a small table of fruit, cheeses, and bread along with two wine goblets and a flask of wine was now placed near her chair. Around the frame of the bed was threaded with fresh honeysuckle the fragrance lingering in the air. Geralt let Julia down but not relinquishing his hold of her lifted her face to his. His eyes were shining with warmth as he lowered his head to hers. They both were now breathing in each other's scents, enjoying the closeness.
Julia lifted her hand to his hair and fingered it lightly smelling something different she brought it closer to inhale "Chamomile and Honey?" she giggled the only smells she associated with Geralt was sweat, onions, and horse. Grunting a slight annoyance Geralt replied "Jaskier said you would like me better tonight if I didn't smell like a horse. He insisted I wash with this" Julia made a mental note and planned on thanking Jaskier later. She felt Geralt's hand reach around to her back as if searching which made Julia slightly nervous. They had taken pleasure from each other but it was all done in the dark, and without thought. Tonight she wanted to enjoy, to take him in slowly but she was also nervous what if he didn't like what she looked like in the light.
Geralt felt strange, here he was finally able to cherish his beloved, and yet unlike the last few months, he wasn't sure how to proceed. He wanted to see her, to enjoy what up till now had been kept hidden so had started to feel for a tie, ribbon, or buttons to remove her garment. As he did he felt Julia stiffen in his arms. He halted and looked at her closely for a moment. Was she alright? Was she nervous? Noticing the blush in her cheeks He leaned in and kissed her gently on the lips and pulling back whispered "would you like some wine?" he felt her body relax and then she smiled at him nodding.
While Geralt was pouring the wine Julia walked over to the bed and spotted a light blue bundle tied up with a pale green ribbon with a note on top. Julia picked up the note and read "Julia, we wanted to give you this special gift I hope that it will bring you much joy tonight. Love Renee, Ruth, Hannah, and Nessie." Placing the note to the side she started to pull at the ribbon. She felt Geralt come up behind her, placing his hands around her waist ,and resting his head on her shoulder looking at what she was doing. The bundle came apart and she looked in awe at a piece of sheer ivory fabric. Picking it up she fingered it finding it soft, delicate, and almost completely translucent. Blushing Julia heard Geralt's appreciative hum into her neck as he whispered close to her ear "I'd like to see you in that" a shiver ran down her spine as his breath grazed her neck. Nervously giggling Julia leaned back into Geralt's chest. "How about we have some of that wine first"
Geralt turned around and picked up the filled goblets handing one to Julia, he watched as she gently tipped the goblet to her lips taking a mouthful. Her tongue licking a small trickle that had escaped her lips. She smiled a small shy smile at him and picking up the bundle turned and went into the bathroom. Ohh that woman, he didn't know if she knew what she was doing or if she just naturally made his body burn for her.

City of the Living Dead
Chapter 5
Leon had pulled a lever right beside a metal door that was contained inside a box with packaging tapes sealing it and the said door slowly slid up to let us in. The room looked bright and comfortable. If you disregard the dust that caked the couches and tables and the dirt that was scattered all over the floor, it would've been a good resting area. Everything was organized and nothing was out of place.
"Y/N?" You heard the young man call your name. As soon as you turned around after picking up a potted green herb that was resting on top of a box, you were immediately caged in a tight embrace, the smell of Leon's newly-made uniform meeting your nostrils. "I thought we lost you, Y/N. We thought you were killed. Claire and I went to your house one day and saw your parents lying on the floor. I-we..." Tears began to drench your shoulder as Leon started sobbing at the mere thought of you being physically out of his life.
He nearly lost his shit when he saw the state of your home and he would've if he saw your body just laying somewhere in or out of the house and the poor guy hasn't told you everything he wanted to get out of his chest.
His sudden breakdown didn't go unnoticed by you. When you felt something hot soak your jacket and neck, you pulled away from the hug and cradled his cheeks before letting your eyes linger on his face. It was covered in tears and they seemed to continue to fall the more you stared at him.
"Hey, I'm here now. You didn't lose me." You pressed a gentle kiss on his nose and the gesture caused more tears to stream down Leon's face.
"I was so scared, Y/N," Leon whimpered. He held one of your hands in his and pressed his forehead against yours.
"Shh...I know, I know. I'm sorry." You both stayed like that for a moment, holding onto each other as you relished each other's presence after one year of absence. You knew that wasn't enough but you took what you could get and decided it would be best to catch up after you got out of the city. "Come on, let's go. We have some escaping to do." You placed one last kiss on his nose again before heading towards the door where the nightmare truly began.
Behind the door was a hallway.
A hallway.
A hallway where blood and grime embellished every wall and floor. Infinite darkness flooded the room and the smell was over-the-top unbearable.
You can do this, Y/N, you can do this. After you get out of the city you'll be living happily ever after again. It's just tonight.
At the end of the hall was an officer. He was slumped against the corner of a wall and if none of you knew what was happening that night, one could only guess it was not somebody who pulled a prank or died because of something less absurd than monsters and creatures.
"This is 73-Bird---------for rescue. Touchdown at R.P.D.----------minutes. I repeat----------" You managed to make out through the static from the radio of the officer.
You and Leon looked at each other, gulping down the lumps in your throats, before making your way towards the seemingly dead man with your flashlights guiding your way through the tenebrosity. Your eyes were glued to the officer the whole time, fearing that he might be one of the undead just waiting for his first or next prey. He didn't move though and that eased the two of you a little bit.
"Wanna...check on him? You know, just to make sure," You muttered as you gestured towards the body.
"Are you kidding? That's fucking suicide!" He whisper-yelled back. Though you heard Leon, your curiosity got the better of you, and no matter how much he told you not to touch the fucking body you still did it and you suddenly regretted your decision. Curiosity killed the cat, am I right?
When you slowly rose the man's head by its forehead, you were immediately met with the most delicious sight. The tissues that connected his jaw to the rest of his head stretched like slightly-hardened slime. Smelly blood dripped down to the officer's thighs and floor and the sound of you stretching the flesh a bit more sounded like somebody playing with wet and raw meat. Yuck!
"Oh...oh, fuck!" You whispered.
"I told you, Y/N. You didn't have to do this," Leon said as he suppressed the urge to gag and vomit at the repulsive sight.
Suddenly, the sound of something dropping to the floor was heard from another end of a hallway and it immediately got you to take your eyes off the officer.
"Huh?"
"What was that?" You pointed your lights to where you heard the noise and as soon as the light hit the end of the hallway, two things abruptly caught your attention: another body of an officer that was impaled on a pipe going through his mouth and a tin can that went tumbling around. Nobody, or perhaps, nothing was at the end of the corridor so what caused it to fall?
You and Leon exchanged glances again before proceeding to walk through the eerily quiet  corridor and as soon as the two of you nearly reached the end of the hallway, a fucking zombie slammed itself on the window, growling and clawing against the glass to get her bloody hands on you and devour you. It might've been the scariest jumpscare you had that night so far.
"Holy fuck!"
"Shit!" You and Leon cursed at the same time after nearly getting a heart attack.
"I hope you can't bust through the window!" You exclaimed as you yanked Leon's arm towards a corner where a wooden double door was just waiting patiently for you to open and get a safe place while storing some more stuff that could be proven useful to you behind it.
Just as you pushed the door open with your hand that was holding your flashlight, the window that the zombie had given its attention to suddenly shattered and the sound of it breaking caused more panic to erupt inside of you, fearing that some unwanted people had heard it, and you immediately rushed inside the room.
"They can bust through windows, Y/N."
"Then we'll need something to board every window up if we don't want any hindrance while we find these things," You replied as you grabbed the small journal Marvin handed to you earlier and studied the symbols that were drawn on two blank pages while Leon snatched a map that was laying on a table.
As you were finishing with studying the notebook you had in your hands and picking up a box of ammo you had found just resting and blending in with the mess in the other corner of the room, you promptly heard the rookie cop mumbling to himself and made your way towards him to see a piece of paper pinned in between his thumbs and index fingers -- a record of events to be exact.
September 25th
We're turning the station into a temporary shelter due to the massive sudden outbreak. All police personnel have been instructed to make the safety of the citizens their top priority as we try to accommodate as many of them as possible.
September 25th (addendum)
One of the refugees attacked us in the middle of the night, resulting in the death of 1 officer and injuring 3 others. The person in question was quickly restrained. We believe this was simply a case of someone snapping under intense stress.
September 26th
A mob attacked the station today, resulting in a number of casualties. A few survivors were able to make it safely behind the emergency shutters, but surrounded as we are, it'll be hard for any of us to escape this place. We're not sure we can fix any of our comm equipment, so we remain cut off from the outside world.
September 27th
There was another clash on the west side of the station around 1pm. Twelve people died, and there is only a handful of survivors left. Everything is falling into disarray in here.
David Ford
"Well, that explains why the police station isn't a safe place either," You broke the silence after taking in what you just read. Leon set the note back on the table before leaning forward with his arms supporting his weight and let out a big sigh. That concerned you.
"Hey, what's wrong?" You softly asked him as you placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. You guessed the stress, anxiety, and fear were taking a toll on him and you wanted to ease him up a little bit at least with your touch. You get it, the nightmare you were in was already too overwhelming.
"I just...I wish I came here earlier, you know. I was about to start working here last week until I got a call to stay away. Now...I really wish I got here earlier. I could've-" You immediately cut Leon off, knowing he would say something along the lines of 'I could've saved them' and made him turn around to face you with the palm of your hand resting against his cheek.
"Hey, this isn't your fault. Even if you were here a week earlier, who knows how many are already infected. There's nothing any of us can do, Leon." Leon pulled away from you and your gaze in frustration for himself. He knew there was nothing he could do but somehow his emotions got the better of him.
"Y/N, I-maybe we could've saved the others from getting infected. I don't know. I just-" You took Leon's hands in yours, stopping him from pacing around so much before looking him in the eyes again.
"Leon, there is nothing we could do. I know you wish things were different -- I wish things were different. But they ain't. I would've graduated by now. You would've been buying donuts and patrolling across the city by now, just like how you always told me. But we aren't. Everything happens for a reason, Leon. If this whole ordeal is going to lead us up to something then we'll take it. Unless you're ready to give up and let your emotions get the better of you again. Everything I said might not be the answer you want but you gotta know that...we can't save everybody... Fuck, I don't even know what the hell I'm saying. I'm just rambling right now but...I hope you understand, Leon." The said boy let out a huge sigh again and looked down to the ground in hopes of getting himself together and not let his brain get himself killed tonight. He'll deal with his own demons later once you get out of the city but for now, escaping is all that matters.
"I'm sorry, Y/N. I'm...just...I'm scared and I don't know what's gotten into me."
"It's okay, Chipmunk. We all have our moments," You whispered as you carressed his cheekbone with your thumb. You almost forgot where you were until a thud coming from the door suddenly broke you out of your trances and you immediately grabbed everything you needed before jumping out of a broken window.

Well, how was it? I just wrote shit in this and didn't proofread this. Lolz

lunar new year. // todoroki shouto x reader.
lunar new year. // todoroki shouto x reader
hello! hope you have had a lovely day, here’s a little todoroki love for you all as the Chinese New Year starts tomorrow! much love to you all~
words : 1528
tw : none , fluffy fluff !
request status at time of post : open !
in which he failed the first time to convey his feelings, but luckily, he had another shot.
————
Todoroki glances at the small house, tilting his head softly as he glanced from the red packets in his hands to the soft glow of the candles guiding towards the backyard. He heard the chatter in the background, how everyone from class had joined together to celebrate the lunar new year. Although rarely celebrated in Japan, many of those in the area decided to support their Chinese neighbors and cheerfully greet the new year. It was also another reason to party, which no one could deny. Your parents had decided to go to their friend's house to celebrate, leaving you with just the house to yourself until tomorrow. It was smaller than most, however, after doing a small raffle, your name was drawn from the jar and here he was, in front of your home.
Todoroki has just gotten back from seeing his mother in the hospital, in which he had finished ranting to her about what would partake in the night. Of course he was nervous, you were the only person who could make him feel such a way. His mom reassured him that everything would be fine, but what if it was not? He shook his head, no time for that now. It is also where he got his red packets from, as everyone was forced to bring something as a token of cheer, whether it be food or games, and needless to say, the boy was not exactly poor. His mother insisted to stick to tradition, smiling at her son as he took them with a swift nod but slight concern. A sigh escaped his lips as he began to walk towards the back, hoping for the best as he kept a relatively cool demeanor.
Todoroki walked into your backyard and took in the sight. It has a large tree sprouting from the ground, lanterns of all colors, shapes, and sizes hanging with various symbols in both Chinese and Japanese wishing good luck for the new year. Bamboo lined along the white picket fence, little red banners hanging off their small branches with stars and more writing Todoroki did not recognize. All around the tree were small tables, and various red mats were sprawled around them for his friends to sit and talk, whether about school or how excited they were. A long table lined the side of the house, food decorating every inch of it. The smell of moon cake, rice, pork dumplings, and duck filled his nose, making his mouth water slightly as he walked closer. The whole place was brightly lit up, decorations of stars of gold and red painting his vision, along with various peonies, carnations, and orchids. It was amazing how much effort you had put into making this an enjoyable experience for all, and frankly, he was touched.
“It’s Todoroki!” The boy whipped his head around and looked at the owner of the voice, who happened to be Midoriya. He sported a red sweater and black pants, grinning from ear to ear. Actually, everyone was decked out somehow with the color, whether it be a simple bracelet to Kirishima, who had on a red outfit head to toe. Todoroki got pulled towards the food, where he finally saw you for the first time this night.
You had your hair brushed out and away from your face, eyes sparkling as you served food and made conversation with all of your friends. Your energetic attitude was contagious, and Todoroki could not help but smile at how cute you were when you were passionate about something. Sporting a red jean jacket and gold bracelets, earrings, and necklaces, you looked right at home as you explained to Iida what eating long noodles symbolizes to the Chinese. As he picked up a plate and began to grab some food, he caught your eyesight and gladly went up to him to talk
“Hey! Todoroki, I am so glad you could make it! And- Oh! Red envelopes? Here, let’s add them to the pile over here, I will be handing them out later after everyone settles down from the food.” You took them from him quickly, putting them into a basket full to the brim of various family names and money. Turning back around to face him, you paused as you opened your mouth slowly and began again.
“Hey, Todo, mind heading inside with me? I need to pull out some more food, looks like noodles and dumplings are running out.” Todoroki blushes lightly at the nickname as he nodded, watching as you made your way towards the back door and allowed him to slip in with you and towards the kitchen.
Trays of food were stacked on top of each other, still piping hot as he shuffled quietly behind you. You took a deep inhale, exhaling loudly as you took some trays and separated them from the rest, supposedly what was needed more outside. It was a bit weird for once, since both of you were quiet and there was no one else around. Maybe this was an opening, maybe he could-
“Take these outside for me, will you?” He retracted his outstretched arm, quietly sighing as he nodded and grabbed the various trays and doing obediently as he was told.
The night unpaused after that brief moment alone with you. His heart was racing inside his chest. Jeez, it’s as if you used his own fire quirk against himself, he was heating up just looking at you. He went on to sit at your table along with Midoriya, Iida, and Uraraka. He chewed his food silently, internally praising you for your delicious seasoning on the pork buns. With his cheeks stuffed, the conversation varied in the night, but all he could focus on was you. He saw words come out of your lips, but no response was made on his part. Just sitting by you was enough for him, and he was content with the positioning. It was bugging him, though, that he had not completed his final motive, and he only had a little time left to succeed.
The hours began to lengthen, and soon enough, people were starting to leave. You had handed out all the red envelopes and it was fun to see people jump for joy at how much cash they were getting. One by one, he watched as his classmates received a hug and a wave from you, holding various leftovers as the food coma was beginning to hit and drowsiness arose. He waved off his friends goodbye, cracking a small smile as he then turned around to see you working hard to get everything put away. With a large amount of pity from him, he sighed and began to help you pack up tables and stack mats. Lanterns were turned off one by one, and with a quick flick of his fingers, a frosty blast sent all of the candles out, nothing but smoke left.
Inside, you two panted as the effects of doing so much hit you all at once. Stretching slightly, you pulled your hair tie down and he watched as your face was cupped by your lovely locks. Now, since it was just the two of you and silence, he decided to break out. May his mother’s words be true, and with courage, he spoke.
“Y/N, a word?” You glanced back at him in small confusion, grinning from ear to ear as you shuffled close to him, signaling for him to continue.
“I missed it at the beginning of January, and I was meant to tell you that night. However, I never gained the courage to do so, so tonight…” He took a shaky inhale, glancing away softly as he pulled out a packet he had saved for you along with some deep red roses, making you stop in your tracks in awe.
“I wanted to try again, since the lunar new year is another beginning. Basically, I am here to say I’m in love with you. No, wait, scratch that, I’m infatuated with you. You make my head spin and makes me freeze up and melt at the same time. So, would you happen to want to become...a couple?” He repeated his phrase that he had said over a million times in the mirror, hoping that his words would be enough. He could not read your reaction for a second, but soon enough, tears began to flow out of your eyes as you nodded sweetly, taking his red envelope and flowers into your hands and quickly grabbing him into a hug. Although Todoroki did stumble a bit, he caught his balance and hugged back, a breath of relief flying into his lungs before he began to smile and bury his face into your neck shyly. A sweet blush overtook both your faces, and innocently, you pecked his cheek with the brightest smile in existence and he mimicked your actions back at you. Elated, exhilarated, overjoyed, you two were many things, but to describe it the best...
You both were over the moon as the ringing of fireworks popped in the background, signaling the start of the new lunar year and your relationship.

Celebrating Samhain + Blue Full Moon + Halloween weekend
As I mentioned in a previous post, I had some pretty detailed plans for celebrating Halloween, Samhain and the blue full moon this weekend. Although we’re still technically in the weekend as I type this, I wanted to share the difference of what I had planned versus what I’ve actually done so far.
I’ve said before that one of my biggest issues I have is that I often plan to do too much or put too much pressure on myself by trying to fill every moment with something worthwhile. I’m learning to do less of that, but it’s still a process.
So keep that in mind as I share what I’ve been up to. I also had to work on Friday and Saturday, so that too affected how much time I had to do the things I had planned.
On Thursday, after returning home from work, I got started on my holiday weekend dessert to mark the final harvest: an apple crumble. Although this was before the weekend started, I knew it was better to get the dessert out of the way before the first night of the full moon.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That’s 11 Gala apples + 3 apples gifted to me from my bosses who went apple picking in Upstate New York last weekend peeled and sliced.
Tumblr media
It’s not the best photo, but this is the apple crumble after it was all finished. I added foil to the pan to help make it easier to clean, but it would’ve probably looked more appetizing if I hadn’t. It still tasted delicious.
On Friday, I sort of did the same thing by cooking the Samhain Stew recipe I found so I didn’t have to feel pressured to get it done in time for Saturday evening. It turned out OK. I made a few substitutions that I probably wouldn’t make next time, but overall, I’m glad I tried something new.
Tumblr media
After I cooked the stew, I actually made myself a pizza (store bought) and watched my first movie in my Halloween cinematic celebration: The Dead Don’t Die. My mother recommended it to me, but it wasn’t very good unfortunately. It’s one of those films where a lot of actors you like may be in it, but the story just isn’t very good. I’m not a big fan of zombie movies, but I really liked the cast. Oh well. It doesn’t hurt to give something new and different a chance. Here’s what one of the posters for the movie looked like:

The day of Samhain/Halloween/the full Blue Moon began with more meditation and a tarot reading. This time, I did this Blue Moon Tarot Spread by @kikicauldron.
Tumblr media
And here was the reading of my result:
Tumblr media
1. Your uniqueness and personal power
Death/Rebirth
2. A blessing in your life to reflect on
The Wheel
3. A goal to develop this blue moon
8 of Wands
4. A lesson that will reveal itself this blue moon
9 of Swords
5. A wish that will come true this blue moon
2 of Pentacles
6. A message from divinity about your spiritual evolution
4 of Cups
It was rather insightful, and gave me a lot to think about.
Then I got ready for work, which thankfully I got to do from home instead of going into the office. Around 3pm, I took a break from work and went for a walk in the park near my house. Here are a few photos of that trip.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I especially love this shot of a ray of sunlight that my camera managed to capture when I paused to take in the open field.
Tumblr media
And check out this capture of the Samhain sun.
Tumblr media
The gift of fall is so beautiful, isn’t it?
Tumblr media
On the way back to my flat, I passed this house doing their best to keep trick or treating alive during the pandemic.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That’s a PVC pipe from the top step of the porch that leads down to a small candy bucket for the sweets to land in when trick or treaters come by. Isn’t that cute?
Once I was back in the house, I finished up one more task that I needed to finish for work, then I officially begin my celebration. Although I meant to create an ancestral altar earlier in the month, I didn’t make one until the day of Samhain. It’s my first attempt at an altar, but it’s not too bad I think.
Tumblr media
I had to clear off the space and clean it before adding all the things I wanted to lay out. As I mentioned, it’s my first attempt, so I know it’s rather basic. It’s an altar to honor my grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Although now that I look at this, I realized that in each photo, each woman is holding one of my younger cousins and maybe I shouldn’t use these images.
Unfortunately, I don’t have any other photos of them. Dang. I read you weren’t supposed to include any images of living relatives, and now I’m worried. OK. I’m going to change that tonight.
In the meantime, the deck of cards are for my grandmother who played cards all the time, and was even the bookkeeper for her bi-weekly card-playing women’s club, which used to organize events in the community and offer weekend trips out of town to gambling boats for all the other women in their circle who wanted a weekend getaway from their husbands and kids. :-D
I didn’t really have anything to offer to my great-grandmother or great-great-grandmother. Maybe next year, I can offer them something specific. I remember my great-great-grandmother loved those candy pieces that look like orange slices. I could probably find some in time for next year. My great-grandmother will be a little more difficult to come up with something for an offering. I could’ve left her a pack of cigarettes, but since she died of lung cancer after smoking for 40+ years, that felt in poor taste. I’ll think of something in time for next year.
The rose quartz crystal is just to symbolize my love for all 3 of these amazing women who affected my life. The apple is just a food offering and the water is something for them to drink. Like I said, pretty basic. The jade plant, is there to represent Earth energy as they were all a major connection to my foundation who defining what it means to stand strong in the face of adversity and a literal connection to my ancestral roots, plus jade represents a connection to luck and well wishes.
I bought white tealights for my candle holder, and I picked 3 tarot cards from my new True Heart Intuitive Tarot Deck (by Rachel True) to add to the altar. Each card represents one of the women in the photos: my grandmother - Queen of Pentacles, my great-grandmother - Queen of Swords, and my great-great-grandmother - Judgment.
I’m going to refresh the water tonight, remove the photos for now until I can find images of them by themselves, and light the candles for All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day.
After I finished the altar on Saturday, I lit my candles (for the altar and the white candle in the windowsill for spirits passing through), I sat down to eat my Samhain Stew and watch Arsenic and Old Lace for the evening. I rented the movie on YouTube for $4, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I remembered after all these years. (I haven’t watched it in at least 5 years so some of the details were fuzzy.) After dinner, I ate some of my apple crumble dessert, and felt myself drifting off to sleep.
Tumblr media
Out of fear that I might cause a fire or that my cat might knock over some of the candle holders while I was sleeping, I made myself blow out all the candles before going to bed. I don’t know if that’s how the tradition was meant to go, but my fear for my own safety and the others in my apartment building won out.
Today (Sunday), I haven’t done much, but that’s been the plan. I slept in, finished my book, ate the last of my Samhain stew for lunch, and started my day-long Ghostbusters movie marathon.
Tumblr media
I also cleaned around the house a bit more, dusted a few shelves, washed dishes, re-organized a couple of things, while enjoying the movies and preparing for this evening.
Tumblr media
Maybe I’ll be back after I’ve completed what I have left on my list and share with you how I finished this 3-day celebration of the season’s final harvest and my first attempt at honoring special occasion. Until then ...

A day on the life of your favourite radio host
You woke up before your alarm did it’s job and then turned it off when it did. After putting on your shoes for home, stand up to open up the window and breath the smell of the beatiful flowers around the house. What a lovely morning! The sun was clear, there wasn’t any bird chirping and you could feel optimistic about today. But then again, when weren’t you a ball of sunshine with that bright smile on your face?
You could have greeted your neighborhood good morning, of course, but there was no one left to greet. The houses both at the sides of your own and in the front were empty, waiting for new owners, but it was so hard on the current economy and so funny for you in particular. How many people have sold their own children for one of those houses? Killed for them? Lied, stole? Oh, who knows! But it was entertaining to think about it as you dressed up.
You wear a white shirt you ironed yourself last night after cleaning it up; the closed vest matching the tone of your pants and your shoes, so pleasantly shiny and clean as if they were new. A wonderful way to start any day as you hummed your way down to the kitchen, preparing some toast and tea. You made a recount of your nocturnal activities and mental notes to keep track off for later. Thank goodness you had such a excelent memory, because the things you needed to remember were not things meant for writing on any common language. After cleaning up everything, you stepped outside and looked at your house with a inevitable sigh of nostalgia. It looked almost exactly the same as when your dear beloved mother was there, even the boarded up window of the attic. To think your own mother didn’t believe you when you said you threw the neighbor’s kid from there. It had been a perfectly honest accident. You just opened up for that small little boy to reach the wooden plane that had landed on your roof and then watched with amusement as he tried to balance out over the inclined surfice, only to finally slip out and meet his bitter end against the ground. You would have never harm a child, that is for sure. A man such as yourself might not have a lot of rules to live by, but that was certainly one of them. But watch them do reckless things without moving a finger to prevent it… well, that was another story, isn’t it? He couldn’t control gravity. And who was he to intervene betwen a boy and his new toy? You walked all the way to the radio station you were working, greeting everyone you knew and even some that didn't; they stared at you with such pathetic little admiration that was hard to resist to aknowledge it. Sat down on your chair, rolled up your sleeve  and waited for the signal indicating you were ready to talk. “Good day, my lovely listeners! Isn’t a espectular day today? Our way of living maybe be crushing under our feet and the hope of ever returning to what is normal seems dimmer with every second we are breathing the poison that is our life, but don’t fret, your good friend radio host will always be here for you! Let’s take a look to the news of the day, shall we?” You grabbed on a newspaper an assistant had handed to you and unfolded it, taking care for not to do it over the microphone. “My, it seems like the rate of suicides is rising once again! It seems that everyone’s salary is not the only thing that is dropping, ha! Oh, and it seems so many kids are currently on the streets right now as their parents sold them for their own sake. Better take care of your garbage, listeners, or you might find one of them looking for their lunch as you are listening and then you will have to clean up that mess! Mmm, I guess you could throw away a couple of scraps for the little lads but, between you and me, my friend, do you really want to? But you all know how children are, and unfortunely  their attempts can’t be avoided until are not able to keep looking anymore. It’s a sad, sad situation, indeedy, but that is why we must appreciate still the few delights we have left on this corrupted world, my friend. Like music! Let us hear some more about that lady that has everyone perking up their ears.” You flicked some buttons and put one one of the newest records on the station as you received a few calls on the meantime. Most of the calls were about people talking about their own sad situation. I had to sell the precious chinese porcelain of my grandmother, I lost all my money thanks to some thief, the bread is so expensive that my family is eating paper and blah blah blah Almost the exact same speech from yesterday, too boring to lose too much time on them, and instead concetrated on the people requesting for a new song or talking about their new misfortunes that your dear listeners haven’t heard of yet. Someone had to actually eat their pet dog and that got their entire family a food poisoning! Ha! Hilarious!  You can make up this, folks! You continued the show until midday and you had to say goodbye for now to give place to the next host. You didn’t have to come back until a couple of hours so you had a chance to grab lunch on some of the few restaurants that remained open. There a lady asked you if you were who she thought you were and you said yes, inviting her to take a seat in front of you and engage on a conversation. There was no wedding ring or the usual bags under the eyes of a mother stressing about what to feed her children, so when the route went about talking for a date, you played along to please her by inviting her to come over your house so you could both have a home meal. She blushed and pretended like it was a hard choice. You played as well, convincing her that it would be fine, just a perfectly decent, not at all attention worthy dinner between a pair of new friends, nothing else to see. After a little of back and forth, she finally promised to be there and stood up to continue with her chores. You made another mental note and kept enjoying your food, that you were almost sure it was actually a cat caught on an alley, but at least tasted good. Back to work, you put music, told a few easy jokes that your mother was so fond of and had a little talk with a carpenter who had his entire business burning just last week, a fire in which all his family died during their sleep. It was highly amusing to ask him about if he still dreamt about their faces so peacefully in the night, as if they were sleeping, but knowing they were never going to wake up again and he was, quite frankly, at least somewhat responsable.
Of course with enough jokes that the carpenter just sniffed a little bit and was able to contain from crying until the microphone was off. Then the night came and you had to say goodbye until tomorrow. And they better wished them luck, dear listeners, because he was going to have a date tonight with some lovely lady! You returned back home with your usual high spirit, humming the most popular song today, and prepared everything for the big event. When your new friend appeared, the dinner was already done and ready to be served. Some delicious deer meat that he bought from some local hunters that before were just doing it for the hobby, but now they practically only survived on their meat, whenever they could find it. Unfortunately the population of aceptable prey had diminished so much since so many other people had similar ideas, so it was getting quite hard out there. Well, at least people were being more creative now! Didn’t you noticed some “feline grace” on your meal today? Ha! You were kidding of course. Not really. Anyway, as you both finished, you took her hand to accompany you into the basement, where you had your record player and they could listen to some nice music more comfortable. Why do you have a record player on the basement, she aks? Why, it was initially just not to bother your sweet mother since she prefered a silent environment to read her books, but even after her death, it became just a habit to keep it there. Yes, it is smells terrible, you know, you assured her as you secure the grip on her wrist and closetd the door with a key only you had. It was dark, you know, and you were aware the smell was so intense that was going to make your darling guest to puke on her beautiful dress. What is that smell? Oh, nothing extraodinary, just the stench of rotting corpses you had yet to get rid of. Oh, what a enjoyable moment of silence was that. Did she thought you were joking? Did she assume you meant anything else but exactly what you said? On the darker stairs you could see her face changing, the beautiful and slow metamorphosis from a pleasant but confused smile to an actual realization that you were not joking, not at all, and your smile wasn’t because you were laughing at her incredulity but rather, at her whole life. By the time she turned her head to the door, you had already pulled her down stair and kicked her knees out so she would stumble the rest of the way and crash her head against the concret cube you had precisely for those situation. Ah, it was almost magical when their fall was just right and their lives ended with a clear and satisfying crack. The truly fun part is when they didn’t die right away, just knocked out for the time being, with some unimportant brain damage nobody cared about; then you had the chance to help them stay alive a little longer… and they'd regret the fall didn’t kill them. You were so excited when you discovered she was still breathing despite the blood and the weird shape her head had adquired. So you hummed happily as you dragged to the center of your hard learned symbols and grabbed some of the ritual knifes all over the wall. When you were done with her, you cut out some of her bodyparts and put it on a bag, but it didn’t seem heavy enough and added some other parts of the other guests you had the past week. They weren’t actually rotting, of course. You kinda exagerated it just for the shits and giggles, but you had to start getting rid of them again. They were so much useful outside on the garden, feeding the flowers that you were proud to keep alive, colorful and beautiful against an ugly reality. As usual, once the bag was sufficiently heavy enough, all that was left was put in a suitcase and carried to your car; it was to be buried under the same tree where the powers you were so devoted to would have their feast. They were so glotonous those rascals, but it was a small price to pay for all the things you were promised long ago. Even if the time you were going to receive those rewards wasn't exactly clear, and even if it was a tiny bit frustrating, you didn't mind. The show must go on, as they say! The job was entertaining per se and you wouldn’t have minded to continue doing it for as long as necesary. Besides, it’s not like you could actually do anything even if you did had a problem. Which you don’t, for sure, so who cares? When you came back on the morning, you were surprised to see some people coming and going the house on your left, not just as sometimes curious youngsters would do, but carrying stuff from one place to another and not minding seeing enter your home, a bright disposition on your face despite still needing a shower. New neighbors, finally! How long was it since you took out the last one? Not that long, that you could remember. Oh, you so hope they were fun people.  Or miserable ones, which was almost the same thing as far you were concerned. The last thing you needed in your neighborhood was boredom.

Ship: Shinobu/Mitsuri
Prompt: Fluff/domestic, cuddling by the fireplace
____________________________________________________________________________________
In this dark night, snowflakes were falling down from the sky to the ground like autumn leaves. The ground had been painted white thanks from the snow. Glittering stars that shine in the dark canvas of night sky likes jewels from the treasure chest. All the trees have no more green leaves on their branches, except hanging icicles that reflected like mirrors. Every houses and building were decorated with string of colorful neon lights from red to green. There’s even few small Christmas tree that had been beautify with variety looks of decoration ranging from the lights, dolls and shiny balls. Despite the late night, there were few individuals and couples who still walked in the midst of street, bundled themselves with scarves and thick coat.
Among the sea of people, a young woman in purple with butterfly hairpin was walking back to her home. In her hand, there’s a plastic bag with a symbol of a famous bakery not far from her places. The idea of having this cake as a dessert later with her girlfriend put a smile on her face.
She went through a few corners from the train station to her neighborhood in her route. She greeted ‘Merry Christmas’ to an old lady as she passed some small shops and houses. When she finally arrived at a small house, she knocked the door of the house a few times and unlocked the door herself.
“Mitsuri-chan, I’m home~”.
“Welcome home, Shinobu-chan~”
A young woman with her pink/green-haired tied up in two braid answered her. She had an apron over her chest and behind her, the table already filled with simple yet definitely delicious dinner.
The woman, Shinobu-chan, smiled warmly at the sight of Mitsuri-chan. She gave her girlfriend a slight peck on her cheek before taking off her coat and put them over the hanger not far from the door.
Mitsuri looked down and saw the plastic bag that Shinobu brought home, then squealed giddily as she picked them up and investigated the content. As she expected, there’s a cake box with the symbol of her favorite bakery.
“When did you buy the cakes from Kamado’s?!” Mitsuri asked with such joy.
“On the way home from work, they were having an offer during Christmas time,” Shinobu explained. She knew that Mitsuri would be ecstatic to have them.
“I’ve been craving for them, thank you so much Shinobu-chan!” Mitsuri pulled her petite girlfriend into a tight embrace. She was too excited that she did not noticed of her own strength and that Shinobu was having slight trouble in breathing because of her chest. Thank goodness it did not last that long as she finally let her go.
“I’ll keep them in the fridge first. Let’s have dinner here. I already made your favorite,” Mitsuri said as she took out the box from the plastic bag and placed them inside the refrigerator “Later on we could cuddle and watch something on Netflix?”
“Sounds nice,” Shinobu really likes that plan. The two of them had been busy with their own work lately and it just today that Mitsuri happen to have half-day at her workplace. They were lucky that tomorrow is Christmas and their boss were kind enough to give their worker a day off on this festivity. Tonight, they could just wind off from their fatigue and have it easy together.
During dinner, they talked and shared stories on how their day goes by. Mitsuri had been wondering if Kanao-chan and Aoi-chan, Shinobu’s junior, had been doing well at their new workplace. Shinobu laughed hearing the shenaniganry and humorous banter between Shinazugawa-san and Tomioka-san. Shinobu also talked about her big sister, Kanae-san, was making a new type of medicine at their pharmacy. Mitsuri delightfully shared to Shinobu about her current work in progress for her latest illustration and believed she could finish them in no time.
Cheerful laughter and experiences were exchanged on this table and before they knew it, their plates were already empty and there’s only a sip left in their drink.
“Oh, let me clean up this table for you,” Shinobu wanted to stop Mitsuri from picking any of these plates “You already did the dinner so I should be the one handling this,”.
“Nope!” however, Mitsuri shook her head and refused that offer with closed eyes and wide smile “I know you’re tired from work, so let me handle the rest. After all, I’m the one who prepared the food earlier, right? So, let me be the one to clean up this mess,”.
“But— “
“If you wanna help, why don’t you start the fire at fireplace?” Mitsuri tilted her head slightly at the mentioned household object “Get our spot warm and cozy when we’re watching some shows or movies, how about that?”
“Huh… okay,” unable to refute against Mitsuri’s wish, Shinobu could only sighed with a weak smile, yet her eyes stared fondly to her partner. Mitsuri always like that, so honest and helpful. It’s hard to ignore her request with her smile that could shine even in the darkest room.
Shinobu took a match not far from her and lit it up. She threw them into the pile of wood and let them burn. After tending it a bit to adjust the fire, it was finally small and warm enough for the room. Once she was done, she crouched closely to the fireplace and placed both of her open palm nearby. The warmth soothes her cold body that she could not helped herself from taking a long breath in relax manner.
She wanted to stay a bit longer when suddenly, a thick comforter covered her body from behind out of nowhere. The surprise contact pulled Shinobu back to reality from her headspace. She turned around and saw Mitsuri was standing behind with a pair of mugs.
“I made hot cocoa,” Mitsuri lifted those mugs slightly “And Netflix is already on. Why don’t you come with me to the couch, so we drink these while watching some sappy stuff about Christmas?”
“Why, if I don’t know any better, I might be thinking that you’re jealous of this fireplace for getting my attention and try to get me away from it with hot cocoa and Netflix,” Shinobu teased Mitsuri with a cheeky grin. She slung the comforter over her body as carried them to the couch. Before she makes herself comfortable, she made more than enough space for Mitsuri to sit down next to her. She even threw the comforter a bit so that Mitsuri can also join her to cuddle under it together.
“I’m just rather have my girlfriend look at me instead of fire, that’s all,” Mitsuri put down both mug on the coffee table before pulling the comforter over her body and snuggled closely to Shinobu. She wondered which one is her source of warmth; the fireplace or her girlfriend? Either way, she doesn’t want to leave this spot anytime soon.
Shinobu giggled slightly before placing her head on Mitsuri’s shoulder. She took the remote control and browsed the screen for a bit. They ended up picking an old Christmas movie from the 2000’s with romance genre. When the movie started, Mitsuri took a sip from the hot cocoa and hold the mug closely to her chest.
Honestly, they could not care less what they are watching right now. This is just an excuse for them to cuddle during this cold winter. What’s a better way to spend a silent night for a couple than cuddling under the protection of their shared home?
Maybe it was around half an hour later, but Mitsuri’s ear picked up a soft snore. She turned her head slightly and her face became fond. The sight of her sleeping girlfriend with comfortable and vulnerable look made her heart melted. She must have been so weary after a whole day of work.
“Merry Chistmas, Shinobu-chan…” Mitsuri whispered softly, gently caressed her hair and kissed her forehead. She pulled her girlfriend closer and made sure the comforter covered her body mostly. She then proceeds to watch the movie on her own.
The snowflakes were getting more and more outside and the temperature gradually dropped, yet there’s nothing but love and warmness in the home of this couple who full of love.
