⛅ — Let's be honest, any characters can be made yandere if you give them a reason why they became like this, so I could probably write about all the plot characters of ninjago, but I have specific characters in mind.

☆ ┈ To begin with, in my opinion, Lloyd could most likely become a yandere towards you because of all the shit that happened to him. If you've known him for a long time, the older he gets, the worse he feeling about your safety.

it's hard to see you leave for work every day.

it's the same routine. you wake up early, you prepare breakfast for him, you take something on the go for yourself, then he waits, and waits, and waits. that is, until you come back home and rest in his arms again. morro likes it when you come back to him. a little bit more than he'd ever admit. you know it's hard for him to tell you he loves you. he wants you. he needs you. you're the only thing that could help him adjust to being alive again because you make him feel alive.

so whenever it's days like these, your days off, he's just a bit more clingy than usual. they're days where he can have you all to himself. days where your attention is solely on him. and he loves it so much. when you could cook breakfast at a reasonable time and he could hold you as you flip his pancakes. when you could lounge around in his clothes and play video games with him.

look I’m not the best at analyzing stuff like this but I do my fair share in writing and research so I do want to share my personal opinion on the story and etc.

sora GOING WITH ARIN?? WHAT THE F- why. WHY. I’M LITERALLY GONNA JUMP I LOVE THEIR FRIENDSHIP BUT THAT IS NOT IT

I REALLY REALLY need to see Lloyd start crashing out about losing BOTH his students (i have no idea if Frak is considered his student because… he basically didn’t get focus either)

Ras’ bxtch ahh should go to hell just saying

the only thing I liked was MORRO THE LOML AND MY WIFE PIX AND JAYYYAYAYA MY LOVE

OH AND WYFY AND ROBY THEYRE SOOAJRJRJFJ we love supportive Kai that was the best part btw; theyre literally so father and daughter FIGHT W THE WALL ^^

to be completely honest, I feel like in general there was a lot of comedic moments and less storytelling. the only good storytelling part imo was Ras and Arin’s side: specifically Ras’ mfing manipulation over Arin.

tbf that part was always a masterpiece… not the literal manipulation though

and the part where Jay says Arin’s parents are alive… I’m gonna jump if Ras faked their deaths to use Arin like a fvcking puppet

The flashback of Sora and Arin meeting was definitely wholesome, but not… really… expected or like kind of random ig? I feel like they could have showed it through Arin and Sora maybe feeling guilty and remembering how they met or something, more-so Sora since she ends up going with Arin.

like I get they’re best friends and all but… I feel like more could’ve been done with that(?) to show Sora wanting to stay with Arin in the end, esp with the relationship between the ninja and Ras.

And FRAK. DID. NOT. GET. ENOUGH. …development? Character-wise

Frak suddenly going all “I don’t think you understand what being a ninja is” in the last or second to last episode to Arin, but we don’t see enough interaction to build his idea of that other than being a superfan of them in general

I will never stop saying this: they should give him some kind of arc in helping him switch over from Ras’ “anger and hate becomes strength” technique to the ninja’s. We clearly see him more aggressive on the obstacle course in the first episode, but that’s barely touched on later on…

i do like how Arin ends up being able to do object Spinjitzu well enough in the end by.. using his kindness or wtvr that was… to defeat Thunderfang (who will definitely come back and better die for basically killing Morro… he’s already dead but that’s not the point)

i don’t think redoing the merge can “bring back his parents” even if they were actually dead because despite all that talk on it reshaping reality… idk if that’s how things work

I am glad about Arin still stopping Ras from fighting at times and etc.; his character is probably the best here other than Ras imo

other than we have:

that part in the First Realm (or Land ig) where Frak freaks out about the Oni… dude you’re literally right next to one

frak is so real btw I love him, just wish he could be more refined in terms of character

never mind frak though, COLE BETTER HAVE A LOT MORE SCREENTIME IN PART 2; never gonna forgive the writers for this

Oh and Zane dying for the nth time, that was great

I whole heartedly love making really cool characters be even bigger losers than they actually are, and the Ninja are the definition of cool losers

Lloyd writes really cringe fanfics about whatever fandom he’s in. Sometimes he makes self insert fanfics of him being wooed by whatever character he is the most fascinated by. Other times, he writes ninja fanfics under a name no one will suspect him of. He has indeed written a fanfic making fun of each of them whenever they make him mad. They definitely don’t have thousands of kudos and he’s definitely not the reason why villains now know Nya is ticklish. Definitely not.

Kai talks to himself in mirrors like a loser, and this one is CANON. He flexes in front of any mirror and calls himself ‘hotshot’ and absolutely pretends the mirror is someone else complimenting him. “Oh ho, you wanna know how i got these bad boys? Well, ehe, being a ninja is no easy job sweetheart. Saving the world means I’m saving you, after all.” And he winks at himself with the biggest smirk and yes Jay is recording from the bathroom door.

Nya often acts confident in things she ends up struggling to do, like lift up a building. Shes not Cole yet she aspires to look as badass as he does when picking stuff up. No her arm isn’t cramping Zane, no its not bending at an awkward angle Kai. Leave her alone her arm is absolutely not in pain right now.

Zane really enjoys sounding smart, so often that he names random facts or tries to predict situations without using any of the software in him thats actually supposed to help him get it right. Because of that, you can see him predicting the world is gonna end and they’re all gonna die to the ninja who are all understandably panicked by that, only for that to not happen. The only response he has is “I told you all the world wasn’t going to end. This is why I believe you all should listen to me more often.” Whilst looking away from them. Lloyd throws a rock at Zane.

Cole is horribly bad at lying. So bad that it hurts. Big lies he can for some reason do, smaller ones and he’s like a stuttering baby and everyone’s now gonna die. No one even knows the reason why is because his dad told him when he was younger heroes never lie and he embarrassingly held onto that. Nya has learnt her lesson not to get Cole to be the one to lie as to why she’s not home, Kai standing unimpressed with the magical sword she found a few days before and was researching for enough proof.

Jay gets injured often and hides said minor injuries, that could easily be patched up. So now you have Cole watching confused when Jay is walking like a weirdo. They’ve reached a point in their lives that they’re all aware Jay messed up his toe somehow and thats why he’s walking funny, but its so much funnier watching him walk around like a new born baby or a penguin. And hearing him say his excuses is even funnier because what do you mean your arm is spinning around like that because a screw is loose you aren’t a nindroid Jay.

Extra+

Morro trips. Often. He trained himself heavily with and after Wu to better his balance so it won’t be an issue later on and his balance is quite literally perfect. It’s not even a question if he can stand on his tiptoes carrying a box on his other leg thats held up straight like a line, because yes, he can. Somehow, he still trips often. People believe he is making excuses for his lameness by blaming the wind but he swears he’s telling the truth. He’s gotten used to floating around to save his nose the embarrassment of being squished again.

Does she have an elemental power? No. I don’t dare I’m still gonna write this.

It’s down below because I wrote quite a bit.. there might be spelling mistakes and I apologise. And characters may be out of character..

Lloyd tapped his foot against the floor, impatiently waiting for the next fight. Wyldfire staring off to Roby who was getting ready to announce the next fighters. Nya looking around at crowds and packs of people nearby in hope she would find her lost lover; Jay Walker. He’d been missing since the merge after all.

Arin and Sora were off near a wall, Sora trying to see for any technology to use for her advantage and Arin wondering why he’s even here. He couldn’t fight he didn’t have an elemental power and his “spinjitzu” seemed more like a “fake-I’m-a-wannabe-ninja-it-su.” Like any other ninja fan.

Zane inspected anything that seemed out of the ordinary, with Cole by his side. Out of the two, Cole was the first to speak up.

“I wonder if people without elemental powers would be able to fight here.. like example, Arin, or! If the tournament allows 2v2! Then again I’m just, disliking how similar this is to the tournament of elements.” Cole recalled the past events of the ninjas quest to a separate island in hope of finding Zane. Which. Thank FSM they did, because well. Cole turned his head towards Zane, his titanium appearance standing out between everyone else’s.

“Perhaps, but I believe that would just be a typical tournament, not one that contains any, “history” to it. Or am I over examining it? I have been out of my mindset lately. The lack of my companion is affecting me.” Zane respond.

“Companion? Oh, P.I.X.A.L. You can call her your girlfriend, it’s easier!”

“I suppose, I will have to check in with her boundaries if I see her again.”

“When. You’ll find her Zane, I know you will.”

“Thank you Cole, that is kind of y—“

“Sorry for the long wait! But I’m announcing the next two competitors!” Roby shouted out, echoing through the whole area.

Everyone’s heads looked up towards Roby.

“Next up is… The one who makes you go “brrr!”, the one who brings the snow, the cold weather, the smart ninja. Zane! The elemental master of Ice!”

If Zane could breathe. He would have taken a deep breath.

“Versus.” Roby followed up, “A strange one, not an elemental master but instead a thick furred, shapeshifter, sorry- FORMLING! Akita!”

Lloyd couldn’t help but smile, knowing she was alive. But he quickly pieced the two together. He looked to Zane. If he remembers Akita, Akita is not one to pass up an opportunity for revenge. He just hopes Akita wouldn’t have remembered.

Zane covered any clear emotions. He muttered to himself.

“Talk about a rematch. I just hope she doesn’t get frozen this time.”

With a bit of hesitation, Zane walked up to the arena. Akita already there and you could tell, she was not impressed, her appearance reminded the same as what he last remembered her to look like. A wolf like hat. Braided black hair, that same Formling tribe outfit that he once hated to see, finished with red face paint on her cheeks and a white cape that resembled a tail with red tips.

She held her hands out, once the fight starts Zane knew she would transform into a wolf. Normally this wouldn’t have been an issue, a Formling would be frozen at sight. But he isn’t The Ice Emperor anymore.

He is going to fight fairly.

Worst of the Worst

There were three unspoken rules in Ninjago high. Only three.

#1: Don't piss off Morro. #2: Don't piss of (y/n). #3: If you were dumb enough to brake either of the prior two rules... pray to the First Spinjitzu Master.

And guess what? Lloyd had already broken them all. And unfortunately, the First Spinjitzu Master wasn't on his side.

Honestly, Lloyd thought the worst thing in life was being born Lord Garmadon's son. No, that came second. The first was going to the same high school as your two biggest enemies.

Middle school had been bad already, getting scared glances from a few, and hateful glares from most. High school was almost the same, but instead of leaving it at the looks he received, it was much worse.

Lloyd didn't want to blame his mom, but she was the one who had deliberately hidden the fact (y/n) went to Ninjago High from Lloyd in hopes of getting the cousins a little closer. Unbeknownst to Koko, her plan had backfired, hard.

You're probably wondering, why are those the rules? Simple. The two owned the school. All of it.

Morro is easier to explain. He was your typical strong, mean, delinquent, who was strong enough to beat any of the students in a fight, and to even challenge him was like having a death wish.

And breaking the rules seemed to be his driving force. If the school had a dress code, Morro would have broken it just to piss the teachers off.

Then there was (y/n). He didn't throw punches, he didn't pick fights. But if he didn't like you, he had ways to make you suffer. Lloyd knew that better than anyone.

If (y/n) found a reason to, he could make you a nobody. A person whose name even the teachers would forget. In Lloyd's case (y/n) had been even worse.

And of course he was really popular too. To most he looked like an angel on earth. But to those who really knew him, he was a devil with a smile on his face.

Can it get any worse? Yes, yes, it can, because (y/n)'s influence wasn't only on the students, but the teachers as well, and even the adults outside of school adored him.

Together the two made high school for Lloyd like hell on earth. (y/n) made sure the rumors would keep moving through the school while Morro made sure Lloyd wouldn't do anything about it.

Only thing that brought the school any peace of mind was the fact the two didn't look for trouble. They weren't monsters, they didn't start a fight without reason.

That's why nobody defended you. They believed it was just karma getting to you.

Lloyd arrived to school on time, like a good student should. He greeted his friends, his only friends, the group a grade above his. Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane and Nya were the only ones who knew not to trust the rumors, and also had the gut to stand up for Lloyd. Well, because of that, even they were pretty much outsiders.

Then Lloyd walked to his locker, that was everything but clean, words that really shouldn't be tolerated in high school covering it. taking out his books when suddenly a hand slammed his locker door shut.

Lloyd didn't flinch, he knew it was coming.

"Lloyd! Good morning." (y/n) smiled his usual bright smile. Surprisingly, Morro wasn't with him.

"Morning..." Lloyd reluctantly said, and moved away, intending to head to class.

"Oh, don't go just yet." (y/n) said it a little louder, the people around them turned to stare, but (y/n) just waved to them and they went back to their own things.

"I have something important to talk about at lunch. Just for today, come sit at our table."

Morro's and (y/n)'s table. It was big enough for eight people, but no one had the right to sit with the two.

"Can't it wait?" Lloyd asked, glancing at the clock anxiously. Why hadn't is friends arrived yet?

"No, it can't." (y/n)'s shining smile faltered. "I won't take much of your time, it's such a simple matter."

"...Fine."

"Great!" (y/n) beamed, clapping his hands together before turning away.

"Chad!" He called, and suddenly, from the other side of the hallway, the captain of the cheer squad came running. Much like most students, he was one of (y/n)'s lap dogs. Listened to everything he said.

"Is Lloyd Garmadon bothering you again?" Chad asked as he glared at Lloyd.

"No, actually. But I know you have cheer training in a bit, but won't you clean Lloyd's locker for me?" Chad was stumped at (y/n)'s words.

"Clean his locker?" He spoke, as if confirming he heard right. "You want me to-"

"Yes I do." (y/n) cleared up. "I'm in such a hurry, I cannot possibly do it by myself!" He let out ever so dramatically.

"Uh..." Chad hesitated, but after looking at (y/n)'s fake smile a while longer, he gave in. "Of course, I'll do it!"

"Great, then I'll just get going." (y/n) said and turned to leave, before shooting Lloyd one more glance.

"I'll see you at lunch."

Lloyd was supposed to eat lunch with his friends, but still reluctantly went to sit at Morro's an (y/n)'s table. Everyone who noticed stared, looking at Lloyd like he'd gone mad.

His team was sitting at another table, looking a little worried. Lloyd had already told his crew about what had happened that morning, but they couldn't help but worry.

Morro and (y/n) arrived only a few minuted later, (y/n) sitting down opposite of Lloyd, while Morro sat down next to his boyfriend.

"Thank you for coming, cousin." For once (y/n) looked serious, like he actually had an important reason to talk to Lloyd like this. Lloyd had a hard time believing it.

Lloyd didn't want to, but he spoke up. "You made Chad clean my locker, so... What do you want?"

Morro kept quiet, just listening and watching as (y/n) handled everything. Lloyd knew Morro could easily beat him up if (y/n) gave him the word, or if he didn't. It was specifically (y/n)'s word that allowed Lloyd to even sit here right now without regretting it.

"Well, I don't usually do deals, but I was hoping you could help me with something."

Lloyd knew better than to let him continue, nothing that came from (y/n) or his boyfriend led to any good. But if he just said no, he could say goodbye to that freshly cleaned locker.

"Well," Lloyd muttered. "What is it?"

(y/n) leaned on his elbows and smiled. "You know our family dinner is this Saturday, right?"

"Unfortunately," Lloyd muttered.

The family dinner. Yep, it was another thing in Lloyd's list of 'The worst things in the world.'

Once a year, Wu and Koko organized a little gathering for their families to eat dinner and chat. Though they only knew each other because of Lloyd's dad, the adults still found it important for their families to get together and talk like a normal family. Without thinking about Garmadon's... misdoings.

Lloyd liked his uncle, Wu was not only one of his greatest supporters, but also his mentor. Unfortunately, he didn't believe a word Lloyd spoke about (y/n), Wu's son.

Even Koko loved (y/n). She knew the cousins didn't get along, but that was exactly why she liked the family dinners so much. A chance for Lloyd and (y/n) to talk. Yeah, Lloyd hated it. (y/n) meanwhile reveled in it.

"...What about it?" Lloyd continued warily.

(y/n)'s grin suddenly dropped. "I want you act like you like me."

Lloyd blinked. "Huh?"

"I mean it. None of that 'I'd rather be anywhere but here' attitude. No sulking, no glaring at me from across the table, and no words about our disputes here at school." (y/n) waved his hand as if it was all just a minor inconvenience. "Just behave."

Lloyd tilted his head. "Why?"

For a moment (y/n) seemed a little confused too. "Did Koko not tell you?" (y/n) asked, and Lloyd just looked at him with the 'tell me what?' look.

"Oh, so she didn't." (y/n) shrugged, then motioned to the boy sitting next to him. "I guess she forgot to mention it, Morro's coming this year."

Silence. Lloyd's brain short-circuited.

"Excuse me?!" He practically choked.

Morro smirked, leaning back while casually placing an arm over (y/n)'s shoulders. "Surprise, Garmadon."

As much of a disaster this was, Lloyd kinda wanted to laugh. "You can't be serious. You're bringing Morro and your telling me to behave?"

"Oh, I'm serious." (y/n) huffed. "I haven't introduced Morro to Wu either, so I thought, why not kill two birds with one stone and introduce him to the whole family?"

(y/n) took a breath, the continued. "Please."

Lloyd froze. Please. Either (y/n) was lying and this was an elaborate plan to kill Lloyd, or this was the end of the world.

Morro muttered darkly. "He's going to say no."

(y/n) lightly nudged Morro without turning his eyes away from Lloyd.

Lloyd didn't want to do this. He didn't want to be part of (y/n)'s games. But for once, (y/n) seemed... genuine.

"…Fine," Lloyd sighed. "I won't say a word."

(y/n) beamed. "That's the spirit! This year's dinner is gonna be so much fun."

"Okay, you can go now." He continued, waving for Lloyd to go away. "Shoo, shoo!"

Lloyd hated when he did that, but still stood up, took his lunch tray and went to his and his team's table to actually eat lunch.

Whether fortunately or unfortunately, Lloyd wasn't sure which, but the day of the family dinner came faster than expected.

Wu had come over first, greeting his nephew with a proud smile before turning to Koko to have a long winded conversation about Garmadon, as always.

Wu said that (y/n) had gone to Morro's place to get ready together, and that the two would join the dinner a little late.

As Koko ushered Wu to sit down, Lloyd helped set the last few bowls of food on the table. For starters Lloyd had helped prepare tiny meat buns, also they had fresh wok for the main course, and a neatly sliced cheese cake for dessert.

"Is it true this Morro is (y/n)'s partner?" Koko asked Wu.

"That much is obvious from the way he acts. But whatever the case, let's pressure him about the matter." Wu said as Koko hummed in understanding. Unlike Lloyd, she was excited that (y/n) was bringing someone along.

Then came the long awaited second knock at the door.

"Door's open! Please let yourselves in!"

Lloyd straightened up. He instinctively smoothed down his shirt and tried very hard not to look like he was bracing for impact.

The door creaked open, and out rang (y/n), voice. "Hi, Auntie Koko!" He let out, cheerful as always.

And after his call came a quieter, "Hello."

Koko beamed, rushing from the kitchen over to the door to greet them both. "There you are! You're dressed fancy as usual. And you must be Morro! It's so nice to meet you!"

Morro gave a short, polite nod. "It's good to meet you."

A minute of shedding warm overcoats later, the three walked into the he found his cousin grinning and Morro standing beside him, holding a box wrapped in a neat pink bow.

"We brought these," (y/n) said, lifting the box. "I made some pistachio macarons."

Koko lit up. "How thoughtful! I'll heat them up right now, you darlings just sit yourselves down at the table and wait."

"Alright, thank you Koko." (y/n) smiled, then took Morro's hand and guided him to the small dinner table. (y/n) sat Morro down opposite of Lloyd, then sat down next to his boyfriend. And of course, (y/n) gave Lloyd a smile that Lloyd couldn't return, because Wu had already spoke up.

"Morro, is it?" Wu, sitting at the end of the table, right by Lloyd and Morro.

"Yes, sir." Morro answered. His voice was low in a way that freaked Lloyd out, because it kind of sounded like Morro was... nervous.

"Oh, no need for that. Really, no one calls me sir." Wu said, then offered his hand to Morro. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

"The pleasure is all mine, sir."

Lloyd blinked. Wow, Morro's actually behaving.

Wu squinted at the sir part, right as (y/n) leaned forward, placing a calming hand on Morro's shoulder.

"He's a bit nervous, dad." (y/n) spoke as Wu nodded.

"No need to be, you are among family." Morro nodded at the words.

They ate while making small talk of all kinds. From introducing Morro to how things were at school (which was effortlessly lied through), to the food and small topics like movies, music, art and everything else.

And surprisingly, Lloyd found out something new.

"Excuse me, I have to use the restroom." (y/n) said at one point. Immediately after, Morro tensed.

"Go ahead, I put a green towel ready for you and Morro. It's on the counter, you'll see it." Koko called as (y/n) stood up from the table.

His hand dragged on Morro's shoulders, and he whispered something into his boyfriend's ear, then finally went to the restroom.

Immediately, the adults' eyes were on Morro.

"So," Wu started, Lloyd had a strong gut feeling he should be worried. "How do you know my son? School?"

"Uh- uh... Yes." As he answered, Morro spared a doubtful glance at Lloyd. "We are in the same class."

"So you met in class?" Koko asked a follow-up question from her seat next to Lloyd.

"...No." Morro shook his head. "We were in different classes during our first year."

There was a silence, everyone was expecting Morro to continue. The boy looked a little tense, but did so anyway.

"I, uh, got into a bit of trouble," A fight, Lloyd realized. He didn't know Morro had done that even during his own first year. "I ended up getting a bit roughed up."

Lloyd blinked. Every time Morro fought, he escaped unscathed, a bruise or two at most. Wu listened intently, Koko gave Morro an empathetic look.

"(y/n) found me in the library. He patched me up, even though I told him not to." Morro looked down, not even looking at Lloyd now. "That somehow became a habit for us, and things just... happened."

Lloyd stared at Morro. For the first time in Lloyd's life, seemed more like a human than a devil sent from hell.

Before anyone could say anything, (y/n) returned from his restroom trip.

"Why so quiet, everyone?" (y/n) questioned. "Did Lloyd do something?"

"Wha- don't just assume that!" Lloyd let out.

"Hey, calm down, cousin. I was just joking. Sorry." (y/n) chuckled awkwardly, then sat back down. And everything went back to normal. Lloyd was left to wonder if he'd ever see these sides of (y/n) and Morro ever again.
