I need to stop asking for things to be more fun, because whenever they ARE I suffer greatly.  “Oh I’ll post a lot of these!” I said.  “I’ll catch up!” I said.  This took me over a month to get right.

But hey at least I finally figured out what 直伝 means.  I got it from a dojo’s facebook page that said “some dojos give BULLSHIT certificates to BULLSHIT students” lmao.  You tell them, dojo.

Also I’m going to just still call them Undateables in this set to differentiate the support cards from the main cards.

1. Levi says 見ないと (minai to), which is a colloquial form of 見なければ (minakereba), basically meaning “if I don’t see [it won’t be good]”.  Also, “the other guy” could be a companion or an opponent and I’m leaning towards the latter, but I don’t have the card yet so I went with a vague middle ground for now. 2. In the Japanese version, they use Pochi! 3. 発生 means “outbreak” or “occurrence,” but honestly after seeing the English version I don’t really see a better translation than what they actually did. 4. This literally says “Barbatos’ direct transmission,” which is like when something like a skill is given from a master to a student.  I think Simeon is saying he wishes he was learning from Barbatos too? 5. This one confused me a bit, since あげる usually means the speaker is the one doing the favor, but I think it can also be used if you’re speaking from the giver’s point of view. 6. I love when they corrupt real titles like this for copyright purposes, but at the same time I’m always afraid when I see it because I need to have some idea of what the original was or else it’s almost impossible to understand.  Looking at you, 70s sports manga.
