oh snap i can't believe i hadn't thought about the fact that Stolas clearly saw Striker there!!
i had noticed that Blitz wasn't seen or mentioned in the video, and that Stolas had (& still has) no idea that he was even there. it makes me wonder how he'd react if he found out. petty jealousy (however irrational) feels likely to me at this point in the story arc-- "oh so you rescued Fizzarolli but not me, eh?" (and ohhh Blitz has no idea about Stolas' role in all this either, does he??)
i love how this show actually does the miscommunication trope really well. there's a lot that the characters couldn't have known, for actually legit reasons. as opposed to Lost (sorry Lost, i love you but...) where easily more than half of the conflicts in the whole series could have ended or been entirely avoided if the damn characters would just talk to each other. say, when something is directly brought up to Character A who knows something crucial about the situation that Character B doesn't, and it would clarify everything, and there's literally no in-character reason why A wouldn't tell B. except, of course, for the writers to draw out the conflict for several more episodes.
I've been rewatching s2 e6 and I feel like most of us probably overlooked Stolas' reaction to Striker in the video.
Like before Striker showed up, Stolas appeared to be feeling pity for Asmodeus, but when Striker shows up? Stolas' face appears to change a little (he obviously still feels pity for Asmodeus but that's not the point I'm making here), it's kinda hard to tell tbh but I don't think Stolas is looking at Crimson here, my guess would be that he's looking at Striker, since he got tortured by him 2 episodes ago, so my guess here is that Stolas is currently having flashbacks of the torture, and probably the hospital as well.
I imagine Stolas was willing to help out Asmodeus anyways, but my guess is that a large part of Stolas' motivation was because of Striker, to try and stop Fizzarolli from going through something similar than he did by Striker's hand. Just imagine if Stolas found out Blitz got captured as well.
#oh man do you think Stolas thinks Striker is dead now??#Ozzie must have apologized to Stolas and thanked him when he gave him the crystal tho right??#and ohhhh Ozzie probably assumed that Blitz would have told Stolas about everything so he didn't mention it!!#because Ozzie has no way of knowing about all the Stolitz turmoil and drama!!#i fuckin love all the little unstated details#this show is such a damn good example of “show don't tell”#helluva boss#helluva boss theory#stolitz#abc lost#lost 2004#lost show#DAMMIT KATE AND JACK

Apology tour spoilers
I kept putting this off because I pretty much agree with everybody else's takes on this, but I just want to get my opinions out anyways
So right off the bat we get THIS line from Blitzo
wow, gee, i wonder how that must feel like. Oh how i wonder
Anyways Stolas goes on directly to say that he doesn’t want to talk to Blitzo right know.
And you know what, thats vaid. All Stolas is saying in this entire interaction is “It’s too soon and i still mad at you, leave.” And i’m sorry but thats not an unreasonable request, especially after a fight that big. I was actually really impressed with how Stolas voiced his feelings thorough the entire confrontation: “I don't want to do words with you, so how about you respect that” “Seeing you right know is hard” “I don’t want to feel worse than I already do” “Im uncomfortable with how you’re speaking to me” This is textbook definition of healthy language.
And Blitzo for some reason just can’t respect that. Because he’s so dead set on getting things back to the status quo, what’s comfortable and familiar to him: this transactional relationship with no feelings, that he ignore Stolas’s requests blindly.
I saw someone claim that the show was trying to make it seem like Blitzo likes Stolas’s abuse, and I don’t think that’s what’s happening at all. Blitzo loves Stolas, that much is clear. But that doesn’t mean it’s healthy. And sometimes going back to an unhealthy relationship can feel better than without it, because that’s what’s familiar, what’s comfortable. Even if it’s not good for you. Especially for Blitz who already has so many abandonment insecurities. This actually happens a lot in real life and Im glad that HB decided to explore it.
But Stolas doesn’t get off the hook that easily
My dude, WHAT? Listen, Stolas, you are my favorite part of this episode. Nay, this show. But JESUS CHRIST WOULD EVEN AN OUNCE OF SELF AWARENESS KILL YOU???? “Impish little plaything,” “itty itty imp,” “you are so cute when you are serious,” “Blitzy,” none of that ringing a bell? SERIOUSLY??
Ok in all seriousness I think this line really emphasizes that Stolas is completely ignorant to the very prevalent power dynamic between them. He has no idea that all these actions and things he says to Blitzo hurt him. And that doesn’t makes it ok. Listen, Stolas has demonstrated that he’s willing to put in the work to improving himself. Just now I mentioned how his language changed to be more constructive and effective. The Stolas from the pilot and the Stolas in the last few episode are drastically different people. What Stolas needs is his own call-out episode, someone to give him a slap in the face and say “What you did is F’ed up” and for him to APOLOGIZE to Blitzo.
Also my man ate up this entire exchange
I have a bit less to say about the Striker stuff, I honestly don't think t was too relavent to the conversation, it’s just more well-written angst with fantastic animation and expressions. And seeing Blitzo slowly realize he screwed up was great too.
Unrelated but this probably to the biggest laugh out of me this episode
Brandon Rogers and Bryce Pinkham continue to be the best voice acting pair I’ve seen in a long time
and guys we FINALLY got Blitzo airing out his feelings to Stolas, completely dumping everything on the table. And then he just backpedals so violently because he’s scared of letting people see his true self, in fear they might hurt him. Also Stolas’s face be like “that escalated quickly…”
To be honest i could go on and on about all the little charachter detains and mannerisms, the animation, and how BEAUTIFUL the colors are. I want to talk about the section at the party, but this is already long enough. I might make a part two if i find the time, but those were just my thoughts

I cannot stop watching the first four minutes of Apology Tour because it’s so well-acted and animated (especially Bryan Pinkham, oh my god he was told Stolas was a cunt this episode and he delivered).
Stolas admittedly got petty when he brought up Striker and reminded Blitz that Blitz wasn’t there when he was being tortured and was almost murdered. But I think he knows Blitz was prioritizing his child and while it may hurt, as a father himself, he doesn’t actually hold it against Blitz for not being there.
What I think is actually cutting him up is that the guy he’s in a situationship with and in limerance with (meaning intense, obsessive crush), never showed up to see him at the hospital and kept making excuses to to not talk to him after he was tortured and almost murdered.
Like, fuck man. That has to hurt. That has to feel like a stab to the gut. We know as the audience that Blitz is keeping himself at a distance because of his self-hatred and complicated feelings and guilt, but Stolas doesn’t.
And shoutout to @timkontheunsure for finding this:
To be very quickly followed up by Blitz admitting he already knew Striker was trying to kill Stolas, even if he didn’t take it seriously (I take it at face value that Blitz didn’t think of Striker as a threat to Stolas. He took the assassination attempt itself seriously but had no reason to think Striker would attempt a second time and especially be successful. He seemed genuinely shocked that Stolas could be killed in Western Energy).
So, from Stolas’ POV: you’re have this intense, obsessive crush on your situationship. The other guy does not take it seriously that you were badly injured, never saw you in the hospital, is avoiding seeing you after you get out of hospital, sent you pictures of your torturer’s horse as memes, and then admitted that he already knew your torturer had plans to murder you while calling your a racist. Stolas probably believes Blitz does not care if he lives or dies. And while we as the audience agree that Stolas has racial blindness to work on, I’m sure the first time he’s ever had to think about race/class dynamics being when he’s being tortured is not giving him any motivation to check himself on it. I wouldn’t be surprised if the whole topic throws him into a PTSD episode. This is especially heartbreaking because Stolas is making an effort to hide an injury he still has from Striker, most likely because he’s royalty and royalty have to appear strong at all times.
Sometimes I wonder if Blitz knows if Stolas wasn’t a pacifist, he would have murdered him ten times over by now.
And Stolas’ little drunken speech at the end is so fucking sad. I think he’s being literal when he says he wants someone to care if he stays or goes, but also euphemistic. He wants someone to care if he leaves the morning after, but he wants someone to care if he’s fucking murdered or not.
My sad birb, the bar cannot be this low.
And I think it’s going to be another thing that makes things very complicated and vitriolic between them. On Blitz’s end, you have the racism/classism and the power dynamic. On Stolas’ end, you have the knowledge that your situationship only wanted to see you for your access to the human world (there’s no way he didn’t figure that out after months of being left on read, which he mentions in S1E1) and probably wouldn’t have known if you passed at the hospital because he had no intention of seeing you. And Stolas deserves to have that hurt acknowledged. All the birb wanted was a “hey I’m glad you’re not dead here’s a little kiss on the forehead and a horse movie to keep you entertained.” That’s it. The bar is so low it’s six feet under Hell and it still wasn’t met.
And Stolas’s response was to get a little petty one time when they were already arguing? My ass would be using this to win every argument from now until Armageddon.
“Stolas did you do the dishes?”
“IDK Blitz. Did you come visit me in the hospital after Striker tried to gouge my eyes out?”
#stolas#blitzø#apology tour#western energy#striker#helluva boss#lowkey Blitzø needs to apologize for this too#not for prioritizing Loona but for never checking up on Stolas in the hospital#that’s an objectively shitty thing to do

I’m sorry but how was striker's core kept intact? He’s like a parody of his former self in the latest episode and a bad parody at that.
Ohhhh anon, anon, anon. I am more than happy to extrapolate on all things Helluva Boss! You have come to the right place for my personal hot take on why Striker is awesome and the latest episode hasn't tarnished that whatsoever.
I made it quite known back when he was the latest "controversy" in the tag that I disagree with the critics and thoroughly enjoyed not only the episode, but his portrayal, and saw no diminishments from our first introduction to him. I've explained my perspective on this in snippets across a few posts, and it's been some time, but I'll do my best to explain it all here yet again!
This may get ramble-y. I'm putting it under a cut.
Firstly note. We've seen this character a grand total of TWO TIMES. Two. That is two instances for us to learn about him and witness how he acts and reacts to the world around him. Doesn't sound like a lot of time, right? Yeah. That's 'cause it's not. For all we know, there's more layers and nuance to this character that's yet to be explored and explained. Remember, Spindlehorse has this series mapped out to the end for the most part. It's how Vivzie could tell us the number of seasons. They obviously have more plans for Striker and more episodes to explore his character in. Probably answer a lot of questions raised by his second episode as well! There's no real telling. We aren't part of Spindlehorse. But that's part of the fun and excitement of watching a show.
Now, everyone and their mother wants to cry "flanderization!" and "bastardization!" and "oh they ruined him, he's not like before, they made him a giant joke." Do people realize the Striker we got in the first episode was literally a played up caricature? The character was playing a character. It's so obvious after his second episode. Think about it.
When we meet Striker, he's this badass, untouchable, suave farm hand. Clearly he knows what he's doing and it's so obvious he's worked hard to impress and charm Millie's parents. For the best view he can get of Stolas's head, of course. Make a good impression, gain their trust. Look at how he talked to Blitzo! Total manipulator. But even in this episode you can see the cracks.
During his fight with them in the attic, he loses some of his cool. Gets emotional. Loses his manipulative edge. He tries patching it back together to act unbothered but it's clear man's got an ego and it's been bruised.
Jump to episode two. Not only do we see Striker again, we have loads more time with him. Just him and Stolas, they have a huge chunk allll alone together. We get to see so much more in-depth. The outside layers are peeled back. Striker is skilled and confident and egotistical, but that isn't all there is to his character. His lair is a testament to that. Him bitching at the singers on the way to said lair speaks volumes.
Everyone bitches about the statue but you know what? Striker's ego is enormous. I wasn't shocked at all. His ego is similar to Chaz's, however, unlike the dumbass shark he's actually capable. He knows how to put on a real façade. He tries maintaining it while dealing with Stolas but Stolas breaks it down, and Striker probably feels more comfortable removing the mask thinking Stolas is going to die. Dead men tell no tales.
He's defensive. He's prickly. He wants, desperately, to be taken seriously- just like Blitzo. He mentions having some kind of tragic backstory which probably influenced all of this, and will likely be explored in future episodes. He's deadly but he isn't some untouchable mastermind. He's a person. Someone with feelings and vulnerabilities and weaknesses. Defense mechanisms.
Stolas doesn't take him seriously even when Striker is torturing him. It probably taps into that trauma. It makes him lose his cool. And that scene during the fight, when Moxxie sexually teases Striker to gain the upper hand? Striker took that the same way. He wants to be viewed as a threat.
His fight with Moxxie and Millie was epic. He literally almost killed them both. He came so fucking close but people act like they stole his balls. Like he's no longer threatening. I guess they watched a different fight scene?
Personally, I think an additional reason he may have reacted oddly to the sexual teasing from Stolas and Moxxie could be that he's some flavor of asexual. Where he'll utilize sexual manipulation, as he did with Blitzo, but if it's thrown back at him he can't stomach it. Maybe he's caught off-guard by anyone trying to manipulate him back- use his own tactics against him. That's a common response for egoists and narcissists. The giant boner on his statue? That's an ego flex. It's Hell. Of fucking course it is.
At the end of the day, we've seen what is clearly a very complex character twice. A character who is obviously going to get more screen time. Maybe, just maybe, instead of people automatically assuming the surface level is the end-all of a character, they can wait and see where the team takes them. Characters have arcs. They have depth- good ones, anyway. And I'm so fucking excited to learn more about Striker and the reason he's like this. So excited.
And as a bonus note? If you don't like the humor used in the show? Too fucking bad. Some people do. No media can please everyone. Go watch something else.
#helluva boss#helluva boss striker#hb striker#and that's the fucking tea#apologies if it's a little messy it's been so long#too busy telling people off for the shit about bee tbh

"Oops" review
Time to spend some time with Fizz.
Ozzie is pretty buff for a bird demon.
While Fizz is getting dress, you can see a pic of a white version of those fly dogs that roam Hell. Now I want to see a pic of Fizz and his dog hanging out with Angel Dust and Fat Nuggets!
(insert Ozzie not being an early bird joke here)
Again from time to time the other 2 heads of Ozzie don’t emote the same feelings as Ozzie’s rooster head, making me wonder if they have some sentience of their own. It would be funny to see a scene where all 3 of them arguing with each other, maybe during a moment where Ozzie is feeling a lot of emotions at once. If that ever happens I’m going to call the sheep head Larry and the Bull head Greg. That means they are called L.O.G. XD
You know Ozzie’s place is pretty nice. I was expecting his place to be filled with NSFW stuff, maybe a wall full of people he thinks are hot which would have been a fun chance to have a pic of Lilith in the episode since I headcanon that Ozzie use to have crush on her.
Fizz destroying evidence about people thinking he and Ozzie are a couple. Nothing odd about that.
It’s cute seeing Ozzie care about Fizz’s safety. It also seems like Ozzie doesn’t like Mammon that much, or at least his ring which I don’t blame as a person/place like that would make anyone annoyed or scared.
“Says something only to do the opposite” trope.
For the Greed Ring, there is a lot of free money on the ground though I bet with how high the prices of things are there, those bills are equal to finding a penny on the ground.
Aww his white dog has walkin wheels, just like Fizz! Also the rollerblade scene a definitely a DCAU Harley Quinn reference. R.I.P. Arleen Sorkin
Ouch, that baby from the pilot is sure unlucky.
Pterodactyl demon! MORE dinosaur demons! Wait I recall there being an overlord that looks like a dinosaur in Hazbin Hotel that is Lucifers bodyguard, is she a Hell born demon like Rosie?!?!
Blitzo meets Fizz, HERE WE GO! Though I already knew this was going to happen given a leak, it’s still surprising to see Crimson and Striker in this episode. It also explains why this episode took so much time to come out, WHICH I DON’T MIND!
Cobra demon. I wonder if Lucifer or his snake friend that’s on his hat is a big fan of that species?
“Western Energy” takes place a week before this episode. Good to know, especially for later.
“something of value” AKA Moxxie.
The mom of the stroller kid is in the crowd with a broken bottle. You think she is going to use that on Fizz? If so she is a good mom :)
So that…. factory seems to confirm my headcanon/theory about Ozzie being a technical genius. Also HOW is Vivzie still getting away with stuff like this on YouTube?????
Again it’s been a week since Western Energy and Stolas’ wounds have already fully healed, yet he was stabbed with an angelic blade. You think that would take longer to heal or lead to some permanent damage or else how is an angelic weapon truly different from a regular weapon. I think the writers should do a “MCU Iron Man” and from now on show that Stolas’ arm is not what it use to be, like he grabs it in pain from time to time or he can’t lift as much/cast spells as fast with that arm.
So the meeting is about Stolas going over his feelings for Blitz! What about trying to keep the relationship a secret? Oh forget it that goal seems to be dead anyway. Also were at the halfway point of the season and we finally get to the “I.M.P. getting Asmodean Crystal” plot point people having been pointing out since the season 2 premiere.
Love potions are real in this series? That can’t be good. I hope the writers just make fun of the idea, and not actually use that for an episode.
DON’T TELL A SIN AN IMP IS GOING TO EARTH ILLEGALLY STOLAS!!! Also why does someone like Ozzie NOT care something like that is being broken! It just makes the idea of Blitzo and the others getting caught less dramatic now since if an Sin doesn’t care, likely no one will unless I.M.P. screw up really bad or it affects someone personally.
I will admit that Ozzie is nicer than he seems. Not the first time we have seen that in demons but still.
Crimson has guts threatening a sin, I’ll give him that.
I wonder if what Crimson said about Ozzie being the weakest is accurate? Maybe Crimson only cause him that cause of how nice Ozzie is?
Ozzie getting mad like that makes my headcanon of him and Satan being close friends one step closer to coming true.
Should the Blitzo and Fizz scenes in the warehouse count as a “bottle episode”?
I’m curious about what Stolas said about a deal with a sin being an everlasting bond. Does this apply to Charlie too since she is the daughter of the devil? IS THAT WHY ALASTOR WAS TRYING TO MAKE A DEAL WITH HER IN THE PILOT!!!
IDK about you but Stolas enjoying reading contracts is just funny to me. It makes me think about one of my old ideas about how Stolas doesn’t seem to have a lot of royal responsibilities, as maybe he enjoys stuff like that so much he finishes pretty quickly and ends up having nothing to do.
Points for Blitzo in having a secret knife, as usually he isn’t that smart. Wait is this why he wears those boots? I recall a theory about him being part Imp and something else and how that explains how (slightly) different he is from other Imps, in this case has regular feet instead of hooves and I’m kind of hoping that’s still true.
Though mostly luck, I will give another smart point to Blitzo.
I do like that we got to instantly learn about the origins of what caused Fizz to lose his limbs and that Blitzo is the reason his mom is gone, but that should have been saved for a flashback episode (which I thought was going to happen here or the next episode) so it can be fleshed out more.
I’m going to guess that either Barbie Wire or Blitzo’s dad was the one who prevented Blitzo and Fizz from seeing each other after the accident, as a sort of revenge for causing the fire.
If this was a HISHE video, the mobsters would have just shot Fizz and move on with their lives.
It would have been funny if Fizz telling Blitzo to hurry up abruptly ended the song and leading to another fight.
An active torch and dynamites, oh no. Oh wait never mind.
Okay I’m willing to let Striker get away this time, only because this would be his 3rd time doing so and with the rule of 3s his last appearance will likely be his last. Let’s just hope it’s not with Crimson as along with how I think he won’t be hiring him again after this, its better to have Crimson be by himself in my Millie’s family episode idea.
OH I know that was going to happen. At least Blitzo redeemed himself, at least as much as a demon can.
The way Ozzie said Fizzy was adorable.
I like that scene of Stolas being happy about Fizz and Ozzie getting together, as it seems to express that if they can work together, he knows he and Blitzo can work together.
Okay though not pics, those statues are close to what I was getting at earlier. Thankfully Lilith wasn’t shown there, though for a second I thought she was as I personally think that lady succubus shares some physical traits with her. I mean look at it! It’s those Vaggie and Velvette Hellhounds all over again!
Was Ozzie surprised about the rain?
So I.M.P. will be getting a crystal to go on Earth now. It's a good backup way for them to keep working but I don't like how they are losing Stolas' book, as we never did see anyone try and utilize the other spells from it which I think could have led to some fun. Hopefully Blitzo and Stolas get together soon so Blitzo and co. can have access to the book again.
I sometimes wish that episodes had end credit scenes, as I could see a scene connected to tales about how Asmodeus was defeated by fish/smell of fish. In this case Fizz forgets to tell him he was around shark demons and before you know it Ozzie is having an allergic reaction.
This was one the best episodes in some time now. I loved how we got to finally learn about Fizz, (especially his past with Blitzo) but also Ozzie which gave us a lot of character and world building too. Even some unnecessary stuff like having Crimson and Striker having a role was great when I thought it wasn’t going to be.
One small thing I liked that I think we should focus on from this episode is the fact that deals with sins sound like they are ever binding, something I think is going to happen with Charlie in Hazbin Hotel. It’s very fitting for this idea I brought up involving her and Adam.
I’m also curious about what is going to happen with Crimson now. He likely still wants revenge on his son (or something else) but after failing to win against Ozzie, he is likely going to suffer some major drawbacks soon. Personally I think he is going to try and go out with a bang and I have just the episode where that can happen.
The weakest part about the episode was how the story quickly skimmed over the origins of Fizz’s accident and what caused him and Blitzo to drift apart. Again that was something they should have saved and went over more in a later episode, maybe the episode could have kept it a secret throughout the episode allowing fans to speculate what happened until it was eventually revealed.
The next episode is going to be another Fizz and Ozzie heavy episode, and though I can see us getting flashbacks to Blitzo and Fizz’s younger days where maybe we can learn more about what led to the accident and its aftermath along with what led to Fizz wanting to become a performer, I feel like most of the story is going to take place in the present.
With Mammon being the focus of Fizz’s upcoming show, I bet we will see Fizz and Ozzie having to deal with Mammon making fun of their relationship or put a lot of pressure on Fizz that he has a panic attack until Ozzie calms him down. We’ also likely see flashbacks about how they met and became a couple which leads them to just admitting they love each other to all of Hell during Fizz’s show.
This episode would be a nice chance to learn more about the sins, maybe learn about how they feel about one another, how they run Hell, and maybe see a new pic of Lucifer and Lilith before Hazbin Hotel starts airing?
There is also a chance this episode could have Blitzo and Stolas being in it and after seeing Fizz and Ozzie admit their feelings, the two decides to try dating and see where it leads? That or we see Loona Octavia appear at the performance and bond as friends.
What were your thoughts on the episode?

When Striker drops down onto one Knee, after the rewards ceremony in front of everyone. Blitzo didn’t know what was going on, if this was some horrible prank, that is until his eyes locked upon Striker’s and realized the cowboy was dead serious.
“Blitz, I know we’ve just met, but I can’t get you off my mind, darlin your all I think about, whatya say sugar cube would you do be the honor of becoming my mate?” Would you marry me and take my last name?”
Blitzo stood their speechless, Stolas’s feathers ruffled, his eyes glowing bright red he was about to attack the ranch hand for even suggesting such absurdness. Wally Wakford had a difficult time restraining the prince as everyone anticipated the Boss Imp’s answer.
Moxie’s mouth opened and closed, this was the worst possible thing, that could ever happen to IMP.
“Come on, come on, say no Blitz put that cowboy in his place!” Moxie growled Millie watched her husband a concerned look on her face. Everyone was on edge, the whole crowd shushed as Wally leaned on the microphone.
“Your fucking with me right?” inquires Blitzo “Is this part of your mind games?”
“I- I’m flattered but I have esscort duties, to the prince- I- I- he looks down.
“Damn your insufferable”
Striker pulls out a gold and silver band. “it ain’t much darlin But its my mother’s ,she had it before she passed on, I’ve been keep’ in it for someone special I ain’t pulling the wool over your eyes sugar, I want you to have it”
Wally placed the microphone between the two contestants as the crowd waited with baited breath.
“You know Striker, you make it damn hard, to say no- I will” Striker twirls Blitzo around lowering his hat, he shielded Blitzo from the many eyes, before kissing him senseless.
“FUCK! MY LIFE! yells Moxie, as Striker takes the stage. Blitzo plops down beside Moxie and Millie.
“You offered him more than just a job!”
“Will Mox, if you were listening, he sprung it on me”
“And you said yes”
“I need a best man, Mox are you for it, or do I have to ask your wife?”
Mox took a shuddering breath a nodded. “Mox lets get you cleaned up, you had a rough day.
“ I myself can’t believe I said yes, I put the whole company down the crapper for a pair of big eyes, boots and spurs, a voice like dark whiskey and a hellish horse?”
He listened, to Striker’s encore song “Oh Blitzy,” Blitzo thought he heard Moxie shouting from the house
“Now that fucker steals my Millie’s song too!” “Sugar, its alright, so long as Blitz is happy remember. “I’ve never seen seen our Boss take to someone like he has taken to Striker” “Though, that Cowboy, is a little too slippery for my taste if Blitzo wants to get married, lets support him” Millie Says
“So long as he has to asks permission from Lord Mammon” grumbles Moxie remembering a Loo-Loo land poster of Blitzo’s silhouette.
“That’s The spirit Moxie!”
In the glow of the spontaneous news, Blitz wanted to spend as much time with Bombproof as possible. The Boss imp rolls his eyes at the instant buzz of his phone. He was about to tell Stolas off when a dark voice from the past greets him.
“Hello Blitz, how is my kitten doing? - It was Sebastian Michalis an old friend from his distant past. The Butler had saved Blitzo from the rainy streets: Blitzo was mistaken as a small kitten: wearing a peculiar harlequin uniform. He looked miserable in it. Ciel Phantomhive had eventually warmed up to him.
“Why are you calling?” “I’m calling to lend my services on behalf of the Phantomhive name, “To get the chance to orchestrate your wedding, and to grill the groom” “It will be one Hellvua Wedding”
Striker has to swallow his pride and envy, when he has to ask Lord Mammon for Blitzo’s hand in marriage: Fizzouali gives Striker the third degree. And Robo-Fizz wants to be a bridesmaid.
Verosika is surprised to hear from Blitzo, as he makes amends with his ex, she agrees to help him find the perfect wedding dress.
Between wedding crashers, sabotages a large, gothic a Large towering, Gothic cake exquisite food, decadent treats. Beneath the flickering lanterns that lit the way and the stunning fireworks that exploded across the night skies.
Lucifer gets in on the act, posing as a preacher. while black-eyed children ran amuck.
After the wedding, during the reception, Alastor steals the first dance from Striker Angel Dust claims the second dance while plotting turf wars with Striker’s new bride. Lord Mammon cuts in, dancing with Blitzo during the father/Daughter dance: now renamed father/Son dance. Angel dust is busy snapping photos of the bride and groom. while spiking the punch bowl. Husk is happy to man, the liquor station.
Eventually, Striker has enough Stealing the best man: and challenges Blitzo to a dance off Sebastian agrees to be Blitzo’s partner. through the pumping music; Sebastian makes Striker work for it.
Verosika steps in for Moxie: hoping to switch, Striker out for Sebastian, as soon as she is finished spiking the punch. Sebastian twirls Blitz, as Striker copies him with Verosika. Both Verosika and Blitzo spin, this time the butler hand is pressed into Veerosika’s waist and Striker is grinning down at Blitzo.

A Villainous Meeting
“Good morning, my fucklings!”
Verosika Mayday, the pink succubus, strolled into the room, wearing her high heels, heart-shaped sunglasses, short black and white dress and her faux pink scarf. She blew a bubble of pink gum before spitting it out in a nearby trash can. The fellow employees sat at a cracked black round table with bloodstained high-backed chairs with eyes on the tops. The Wrath Ring imp Striker merely smirked and nodded as he fiddled with the wheat stalk in his mouth. He wore his usual gray and brown cowboy gear with a hat and boots. Fizzarolli, the robotic jester imp, looked around eagerly at the small office room decorated with circus posters and porn magazine covers. Verosika was shown in a seductive pose with her gang on one poster, while another poster showed a sinister Fizzarolli with handcuffs advertising a “Loo Loo Land’s Fizzy Buddy, Brand New Vibrating Toy, Use At Your Own Risk!” A few pictures here and there displayed Striker riding his black hell-horse BulletProof through the desert with a mane and tail of fire. Finally, Vortex, the dark grey hellhound bodyguard, stared at his phone, wearing all black clothing.
They were located somewhere in the Lust Ring under a pink sky in an abandoned building that looked like a warehouse from the outside. Spray-painted in red were the words “D.I.C.K. Headquarters,” on the door to the office.
“Remind me why you choose “dick” to be our name?” Striker muttered to Verosika.
“It’s spelled D.I.C.K. It stands for Demonic Immediate Crazed Killers,” Verosika replied. “Figured it described all of us well, because we do what I.M.P. does, only better.”
“You and your sexual innuendos,” Striker began, and then winked. “I like it.” Fizzarolli giggled.
Verosika cleared her throat. “Do any of you fuckers know why we’re here?”
“Because I took this job after you and I got drunk and did a one night stand?” Striker asked with a smirk.
“No!” Verosika bellowed in anger, though she knew it was true. She then blushed and stepped back. “I drank too much beelzejuice after returning back from Earth, alright? And you happened to be there staring at me with lust in your eyes with a bottle of Inferno 66 in hand. Let me tell you, sucking prisoner dick with your gang is worse than eating shit out of a toilet. Besides, I needed some time to recover after having to walk around after Blitzo took my parking spot. When we were together, he left me to pay for the hotel room, rang three rings around Wrath and maxed my credit card...”
“…on shitty horse-riding lessons, yeah yeah, I got it,” Striker said with a wave of his hand. “You told us the story like five times.”
“Is it because that imp was so jealous of my accomplishments at the circus that he set all of Loo-Loo Land on fire and allowed my robotic counterpart Robo Fizz to get eaten by a dragon?” asked Fizzarolli.
“How did you hear about that?” Vortex asked without looking up.
Fizzarolli turned nervous. “My boss Mammon heard about the incident and was furious. He said that unless I helped boost sales, fix the theme park and capture him…”
“Yeah, I know how you feel,” Verosika sighed. “My gang and I got a bunch of warnings and threats from daddy Ozzie.”
“You mean Asmodeus?” asked Vortex.
“Yeah. He wasn’t very happy that I nearly exposed the humans to the existence of demons. We go topside in disguise to feed on their lust every spring. If Blitzo hadn’t kept that fact secret…well let’s just say Valentino pales in comparison to what Ozzie can do to you.”
Everyone shivered at the prospect of the Ring Overlords’ plans.
“To answer your question, Verosika, it is because I failed to kill that pompous owl prince Stolas?” Striker asked. “I was this close to finishing off that wimp imp and persuading Blitzo to join me. He’s a formidable fighter, and he’s half succubus.”
Verosika crossed her arms. “There’s nothing special about him. He just pushes people away when they get too close and only cares about his job, murder and his stupid horses!”
“Hmm…he’d be a fun little toy to play with,” Striker mused as Fizzarolli smirked. “We can all agree on that, right?”
Everyone but Vortex murmured in agreement.
“Yes,” Verosika called, shoulders square. “That is the reason why we’re all here. Because of them!”
Verosika pointed to the whiteboard which had pictures of Blitzo, Moxxie, Millie, Loona and Stolas pinned on it. Several knives were stuck inside the pictures and scribbles in red on the white board read “Fuck I.M.P.!” “Striker Is Better Than You!” “Fizzarolli Was Here!” and “Verosika, Call Me For a Good Time!”
“And I’m gonna led this shit!” she added.
“What makes you the leader?” Striker inquired with a raised eyebrow.
“I’m not the leader per se. Stella organized this group and Striker recruited us,” Verosika explained. “Though I’m technically higher than imps, sinners and hellhounds, so I say the position is a good fit.”
Striker scowled. “We get treated like scum in Wrath enough as it is. I ain’t gonna play nice if you don’t show me some respect.”
“Prove to me you’re better than that scumbag Blitzo.”
“I already did…in bed at the club, remember?”
Fizzarolli laughed much to Verosika’s disgust.
“While I will admit it felt amazing, that’ll be the last time I ever sleep with an imp. And I certainly don’t need some rogue cowboy to get in the way of my revenge.”
“Need I remind you, missy,” said Striker, “That I’m the one who recruited you and the jester in the first place? After you were getting over your hangover, you told me to fuck off or else your friends would have their fun with me.”
“Yeah, and?”
“I then noticed your heart tattoo on your shoulder with “Blitzo” crossed out. Then I asked, ‘Having imp problems, too? Wishing to see a certain imp?’”
“And I said ‘no, none of your damn business, imp.’”
Striker continued, “But then I told you, ‘I’m on a covert mission to take down a worthless royal…and to meet up with I.M.P.s leader. Perhaps I could offer you my services to you, monetary and otherwise, if you could tell me more about him.’”
“Yes and I did,” she said. “I remembered Robo Fizz back when I worked in the circus with Blitzo and figured he’d be a good person to talk to.”
“Hmpth,” Fizzarolli interrupted. “His business may be impressive, but his jokes were utterly pathetic! I got to be the star of the shows while he got to be alone and unloved! Ha!”
Verosika briefly stared at him. “You sure you didn’t get jealous because Blitzo left you behind and made more money killing people?”
Fizzarolli turned slightly red. “What?! No! How stupid are you?”
“Perhaps smarter than you think,” Verosika remarked, her boobs bouncing slightly.
“Get a room, love-fuckers!” Fizzarolli mocked to Striker and Verosika. “At least I was the first villain to appear in the show! First is the best! And my Ring is higher than yours!”
“Oh partner, even a sex bot like you…”
“I’m not a bot!”
“…could never handle what’s under these jeans.”
Striker smirked and continued the story. “Then I told slutty clown about Blitzo and he seemed to understand who he was,” said Striker. “I said, ‘A Goetia is giving me cash to kill a royal and that imp leader from I.M.P. What do you say we bask in riches, glory and chaos?’”
“I remember saying, ‘Is this a scam? Loo Loo Land must be fixed!’” said Fizzarolli.
Striker recalled what he said back to Fizzarolli,“’Mammon sent you off on a mission, didn’t he? Just like Asmodeus gave a warning to Verosika and what Stella did to me. All our stories and failures are connected. Connected because of what those imps did. If you can help me track down I.M.P. and that prince…no more worries for you.’”
“The show must always go on,” mused Fizzarolli. “It wasn’t like I had many other options. As long as my boss is satisfied…”
“And mine…” added Verosika.
“And mine…” added Striker.
“Indeed, we must all complete this mission, or else we’re all dead,” Verosika finished.
“Double dead,” Vortex corrected in a low voice, making the others shiver. “The Seven Deadly Sins do have angelic weapons. You’ll wish you were frozen in the Ninth Circle.”
“Hell only has seven,” Fizzarolli added.
“Shut up.”
“Loo Loo Land burned down, Asmodeus and Mammon got together, we took the Hellevator through the Ring portals and the rest is history,” said Verosika. “Now I’m stuck with an imp and a robot.”
“I’m an imp!” Fizzarolli protested.
“You’re just a robot,” Verosika replied.
“With partial robotic features! The model for all Robo Fizzs made by Mammon himself!”
“Still just a sex toy,” said Verosika.
“A useful one, nevertheless. One who Stella herself deems valuable, right Striker?”
“She did say to me, ‘I don’t care who you have to go through.’ Never thought I’d be dealing with a bunch of hooligans from other Rings,” Striker remarked.
After several minutes of loud arguments and hisses, Vortex barked loudly. “Shut the fuck up!”
Everyone then sat down in silence before Vortex stared at his phone again. “I never get paid enough for this shit,” he muttered.
“Somebody tell me any useful information about I.M.P. before I lose my shit!” Verosika barked, almost going into her demonic shadow form.
“The only reason why I’m here,” said Striker, his voice turning calmer and darker, “Is for my money from Stella. And revenge of course. Let me tell you where I think Blitzo will be at next.”
The villains crept closer.
“I came to the Lust Ring because I heard from Stella that this is where Stolas likes to “entertain” himself as it were.” His glowing eyes spiraled in yellow-green hypnotic circles. “Rumor has it that he goes to Ozzie’s place to cheer himself up. Heard he suffered quite a breakup from his dear hurt wife. And to have Stella potentially gain custody over his dear daughter…man that must’ve broken that bird’s heart.”
“Oooh what a charming little theater!” Fizzarolli remarked. “Stripper dances, pole dances, lots of lustful siren songs. Winged imps serve you food and other imps are in cages for display! Hahahaha! It is almost as good as the Big Top in Loo Loo Land!”
“Was, you mean,” Striker smirked before the jester seethed.
“I still perform there,” Verosika said. “When I’m not traveling around the Rings on tour. Lust is my home, after all.”
“Greed is mine!” Fizzarolli said.
“You already know where I’m from,” said Striker. “No one fucking cares.”
“Mammon and Asmodeus heard the news as well,” said Fizzarolli. “I heard Stella had a meeting with them at midnight last night. That was before we all got our orders to come here to Lust.”
Vortex looked up in concern. “It’ll only be a matter of time before Lucifer hears about this, too. Not just about the trouble I.M.P. has caused, but now that humans know of Hell…”
“Let’s focus on one problem at a time,” said Verosika with a deep breath. “We’re in no rush. It’s not like our leader’s gonna call us and demand…”
Just then, Verosika’s pink computer beeped and rang.
“Shit,” she muttered. “It’s her.”
Everyone straightened up as Verosika pushed a button. Stella’s angry white feathered face appeared on the Zoom/Doom screen. She scrutinized all their faces with pink glowing eyes, her face appearing on the screen.
“Striker,” Stella began, her golden crown shining on her head. “So this is the gang you recruited?”
“Yes ma’am!” he grinned.
“Hmm…” she pondered. There’s you…there’s some clown imp, there’s a fine-looking succubus…from who knows where…”
“The clown is Fizzarolli or Robo Fizz,” said Striker. “The succubus is Verosika.”
“Working for a queen, Striker?” Verosika asked. “How…”
“Long story, I already told you,” Striker said. “She’s desperate…”
“You bet that’s right!” Stella barked. “Then again, I’m…mildly impressed that you managed to get such a…diverse crew together.” She didn’t bother to hide her disgust. “Well done.”
Striker beamed with pride.
“But we’re far from done! You have no idea how long I’ve waited to properly unleash these feelings in me.”
Fizzarolli giggled and Striker elbowed him hard.
“That stupid prick of my husband thinks he can sleep all he wants with that assassin imp…in our fucking bed behind my back! If he stays any longer, my family will be a laughing stock. I’ll be stripped of my royal status and goodness knows what bad influence he’ll have on Octavia.”
Stella paused, brief hurt in her voice. She didn’t dare cry, though. “Sometimes I wish he didn’t have to die. That all three of us could be a good family again like we once were. He could’ve been a proper responsible father, kept the grimoire safe from the imp, and none of this would’ve happened.”
Fizzarolli cried tears at the rant while Vortex rolled his eyes. Striker yawned. Verosika, however, seemed to listen with a common understanding. She and Blitzo had been together and then they were broken up and fighting. Although she wanted power and revenge like Fizzarolli and Striker, she knew what it was like to get the short end of the stick in a relationship.
“Then again, I was forced into marrying Stolas millennia ago by my parents. It’s obvious I’d concern myself with status and wealth and hold my resentment inside.”
‘All that wealth, all that power,’ thought Striker, greedily. ‘Watch her talk on and on until the rug slips from under her feet…and the glory becomes all mine!’
“I love my daughter and Stolas…I really do…but…I must do what has to be done!” Right then, her regal imposing side was back.
She stared into their eyes, glaring at Striker in particular. “First of all, if any of you land a finger on my daughter, I’ll make sure your screams are heard by every Ring in Hell. She must not be harmed. But…if I have to use Octavia as leverage as a last resort to bring Stolas to his knees…then so be it. I don’t care what we have to do…I just want him dead. Do you all understand?”
“Yes ma’am,” said Striker. The others nodded.
“Good. Now to review the plan. Stolas and I recently had our breakup. He will be going to the same place he always goes to when he’s upset: Ozzie’s place. If you spot I.M.P., follow them, but do not attack yet.”
She continued. “Striker, your objective is the same: kill Stolas with your angelic weapons. Keep them safe in your hands at all times, but eliminate anyone who gets in your way.”
Striker already glowered at Fizzarolli and Verosika who were staring closely at his pistol.
“If you use it on anyone else important,” Stella said, suspicion already in her eyes. “I’ll fuck you with your own horns.”
Striker nodded, with the tip of his hat.
“Verosika, you will track down Blitzo and distract him inside the club,” said Stella. “Use any manipulative means necessary to catch him off guard. Fizzarolli, you and Asmodeus will sneak behind Moxxie and take down the other I.M.P. members. Verosika’s crew and some Robo Fizzs will also join in.”
She added in a sing-song voice, “You’ll all receive an extra bonus and royalty favors if you bring me their heads!”
Fizzarolli grinned. “This is gonna be so fun!”
“The rewards. Striker, you’ll be rewarded by me for killing Stolas. 10,000 souls or more. And a new home in Wrath for you and your family.”
Striker had to roll his eyes. He didn’t have a family anymore. He didn’t just want 10,000 souls. Now that he thought about it, he wanted much more.
“Fizzarolli, Loo-Loo land will be repaired and you’ll get to lead future productions in Lu Lu World. Plus money, your own brand and perhaps…” she whispered so only he could hear, “…freedom.”
“Oh goody!”
“Verosika…more tours, more sex and money for you. You’ll be the star of every Ring in Hell.”
Verosika grinned and fluffed her long pink-white hair.
Stella smirked in a manner unfit for a queen. “And to make things a little more fun…as a way to show Stolas what his infidelity means…a special prize for the first one to kill Blitzo for me…”
She playfully massaged her boobs under her pink dress. All the villains minus Vortex blushed in delight and shock as they knew what she was implying. Verosika’s gang in the far back of the room watched while eating popcorn. Vortex made a face of disgust.
Seconds later, Stella was regal again. “And you there, dog!” Stella called, making Vortex look up. “Verosika has a special assignment for you.”
“What?” he asked.
“Keep a close eye on that loony hellhound of theirs,” Verosika grinned deviously.
Worry was etched onto Vortex’s face as he nodded. Though he had a girlfriend, he had found Loona adorable at the beach on Earth. He couldn’t believe what he had to do now.
“I’ll keep you updated on Stolas’ whereabouts and when it’s time to move,” Stella finished. “Do not disappoint me.”
The screen went dark.
“Well, that’s a wrap folks,” said Verosika. “Meeting dismissed. Fuck around, get some sleep, we have a big day tomorrow.”
Verosika took out her phone and began texting.
“Who are you texting?” Vortex asked.
“There’s this pink southern succubus sinner named Martha,” Verosika grinned. “She says she leads an army in the name of Satan and they want blood after being killed by you know who on Earth. Ralphie and her two kids live with her there. She also wants this Mayberry sinner dead.”
“What does that mean?” Striker asked.
Verosika grinned. “It means…we have a potential ally in the Pride Ring!”
“Awesome!” said Fizzarolli. “Their enemies keep growing and growing!”
The villains laughed.
“With so many souls seeking revenge, I.M.P. won’t know what hit ‘em!” Fizzarolli cackled.
“Yes, but let’s focus on our main mission first,” said Striker. “Perhaps we’ll have the honor of getting to them first!”
The villains laughed again and retired to bed.
‘This plan better work,’ Striker thought. ‘Because Stolas’ blood will not be the only blood that’ll be on my hands soon enough…’

"Apology Tour" review
While a surprise reveal, I’m glad this episode is out as I could use a laugh after watching “Full Moon”.
Let’s see if Blitzo and Verosika will have their “Oops” moment here.
The ticking at the disclaimer isn’t as serious as in the previous episodes.
Stolas in a new outfit near a pool. How come we never saw Stella near that pool :3
Damn Stolas is pissed at Blitzo’s arrival. I’ve stated before how I wish Stolas expressed more emotions to Blitzo then lust or “I want to be with you on a romantic level” but this isn’t the right time.
So this episode takes place the day after the ending of Full Moon. Nice to know.
Man the writers are really hammering in the fact season 2 Stolas isn’t the sex crazed Goetia from season 1.
So all of Hell does know about Blitzo and Stolas. At least they ended that mystery though it is kind of disappointing that in the end no one really cared OR worse no one has connection their relationship to any crimes and such, but more on that in comments if you are curious.
I question how much Verosika hates Blitzo to the point of throwing a party about hating him, but then I remember the times she challenged him over a parking spot and embarrassed him at a popular club. And yet I can’t help but think she still has feelings for him as anyone else would have moved on by now.
The note says its Halloween on Earth! This made me wonder why this isn’t the Halloween episode, till I realized the “Ghostfuckers” will likely be more on brand due to how scary it looks.
At first I was wondering “how did Verosika got Stolas’ address” but since Stolas lives in a giant walled off mansion, it likely wasn’t hard to find.
Love that Stolas compared Blitzo to Striker, since I pointed that out near the end of my “Full Moon” review.
Oh crap Stolas made a good point, why didn’t Blitzo and co. tell Stolas what was going on?
What was to stop Striker from coming back or Stella hiring someone else? Imagine if someone did kill Stolas in between “Harvest Moon” and “Western Energy”, that would have put IMP out of business either cause someone framed them or they no longer had access to his book.
I might make a pic about this topic, but I’m surprised we didn’t get a moment in this scene or at the end of Full Moon where Stolas brings up Stella. I mean I totally saw that look in Stolas’ eye when he realizes Stella has wanted him dead sine “Harvest Moon” yet isn’t bringing it or even her up on all his misery.
Blitzo is so stubborn its annoying!
HOLY CRAP ITS MARTHA! WHAT THE FUCK, MS. MAYBERRY!!! I think that has to be the most random thing in this series so far and I love it. Does this mean Ms. Mayberry is a cannibal now? I’m also surprised Blitzo remembered Martha’s name.
What is that creature in that meme on Blitzo’s phone supposed to be, a horse?
Liking all the references to past episodes like DHORKS, the bouncer (now solo), the Fizzbot and Loo Loo mascot, dead agents of DHORKS, and that director from “Seeing Stars”.
Keenie has a cone on XD.
Is that old guy a reference to someone? Also why do I feel like he is connected to the Leviathan theory. I just feel like it’s going to be revealed that Leviathan has been keeping an eye on Blitzo and co for quite some time now when they’ve been on Earth and is likely going to teach them a lesson in the next episode.
“character doing something they weren’t going to do” cliché.
Stolas being the odd one out. Also why do I feel like some of the people aren’t Blitzo’s exes, just people crashing. I’m surprised Stolas isn’t gathering much attention which again makes me wonder how serious people take royals that aren’t the sins and the Morningstars.
“Demons can visit Earth on Halloween” cliché.
Does Verosika’s design look different to anyone else? She looks less busty then before. I wonder if because she is a succubus (likely full blood in my theory) she can alter her physique in ways, in this case she didn’t feel like being too top heavy.
Verosika is drunk.
When she kisses Stolas, he is blushing a bit which though very small reminds me of my comment in my “The Circus” review about how I think Stolas could have likely been pan and wouldn’t have said no to being with a lady as long as she was nicer then Stella.
Stolas’ line about not getting invited out much makes me wonder if Hell’s hierarchy is already isolating him so they don’t associate with his Imp loving lifestyle, since again his hook up with Blitzo is apparently well known now.
I’m surprised Stolas didn’t stop that sacrifice from happening. I wonder if a sacrificed soul in Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel strengthens the demon it is going to, or if it is just a waste of time and the people there just go directly to Hell after they die if they had a change of heart since then.
Why does that demon in the cat suit (is she an actual cat demon?) look so much like Millie?!?! There is even one guy that looks like Moxxie. Is this why Blitzo really likes seeing M and M doing it? XD
Again someone big, or the reason for this party to exist is at the party and there isn’t a bigger reaction.
In that scene before it cuts to the demons playing darts, there is an Imp with red horns that looks A LOT like Blitzo when he made that smug face in the pilot. Also that pink demon next to her is pretty hot, hope she appears more :3
Heh they’re burning a real life Blitzo plushie.
Tex singing, didn’t see that coming. This is going to be awkward if he and Loona get together, which I personally hope they don’t as along with how underrated Tex and Bee is and deserves more fan art, I personally think Loona needs more friends than a love interest. It’d also be the perfect revenge for Vivzie for all the odd art people have made about Loona XD.
Of course Coco and Apple are dressed as Ivy and Harley. Also I think that female Imp is dressed up as Borderland’s Mad Moxxi.
Yeah not really liking the singing voice for Stolas here as you can really hear the difference.
Looks like Blitzo is having a breakthrough!
Oh uh Stolas is drinking heavily again. If what Blitzo said is true, then he wasn’t a heavy drinker when they were meeting up.
That goat demon has a snake like tail. Is it actually part of her costume or is she 2/3 of a Chimera, again supporting my idea of “Heaven and Hell inspiring other mythologies and religions in the HH/HB world”.
Again Stolas doesn’t bring up Stella in this conversation. Does Blitzo even know what she is like and what she put Stolas through? If not then maybe Stolas should as maybe then Blitzo would realize why Stolas was the way he is.
Nice to see Blitzo let Stolas dance with that incubus. Makes me lean more to the “Blitzo and Stolas should get together” side of things I mentioned in the last review.
Finally some Blitzo and Verosika interaction. Just like last time the story waits at the last minute to go over what we’ve been waiting for so long.
Just because you live in Hell, doesn’t mean you have to live up the stereotypes if it Blitzo. Several characters have shown that so why can’t you.
Interesting learning that Blitzo and Verosika broke up cause she said “I love you” to Blitzo, which given his past explains why he broke up with her. Still it was shitty of him to do it like that. You also think Blitzo seeing the tattoo she got would be a sign that she felt that strongly of him and prepare him for hearing her say those words.
It is nice to see that Verosika while still holding onto the pain in a immature way, is helping others who went through what she did. Also Stolas was right about how if someone throws a party about hating you, it means that had real feelings for you.
Nice to see Blitzo and Verosika get closure. I bet some thought they would end up like Blitzo and Fizz did in “Oops”, but this ending is the best outcome without being too cheesy.
The ending feels like a sadder ending of Truth Seekers with a bit of Ozzie’s, as while it hurts, I feel like Blitzo will actually try to change in the future, likely starting in the “Ghostfuckers” episode, as I’m starting to get some Silent Hill vibes from what will happen in it and this will be the final lesson before Blitzo changes for good.
There’s Wally XD.
An odd note to end on but I hope that Incubus guy won’t turn out to be another assassin. In the S2 trailer there is a line from Vassago asking where Stolas is, so I wonder if Andre and Stella (mostly Andrea) will get Stolas kidnap and keep him hidden during the trial episode as they need someone to win and he is a key witness.
Another meh, heavy Stolitz episode. It is nice seeing Blitzo and Stolas air out all their issues, but it’s just really annoying seeing Blitzo still be so defensive and being a jerk even after all he has been through recently AND Stolas giving him every chance to make things right.
I like that the episode wasn’t played out exactly like “Oops” as it felt right to have Blitzo and Verosika be on more mutual terms then completely make up. However it does remind me of a plot point that could have been if the writing was different for the season, but I’m saving that for my Helluva Boss rewrite.
As for any sad Stolitz fans out there, cheer up as there is still more episodes later in the season so there is still hope for Blitzo and Stolas getting together in the end, let’s just hope you like it as I feel like when they do there is going to be a big consequence for the two at the end of the season.
I think my favorite thing about the episode was the cameos of Martha and Ms. Mayberry as that was so random that it was hilarious.
Well the next episode won’t be out till Halloween, so that gives everyone time to take a break from the show, theorize and predict about stuff, and make some art. I do plan on getting back to working on my Helluva Boss rewrite soon, so stay tune for that as well as other Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel art I have in the works, 1 of which I just thought of while making these reviews today
I also hope we get some more of those Helluva Shorts over the next few months AND a few Hazbin Hotel shorts because why not. Some Helluva shorts I think they should do is one where we see some of the sins hanging out together. I feel like Ozzie would be friend with Belphor, the sin of sloth as maybe they bonded while working on Fizz’s prosthetic limbs and maybe they have a business contract where Fizz helps make medical equipment for her. Imagine him and Fizz giving prosthetics to other demons suffering from what Fizz went through. I also could see something similar with Mammon and Leviathan since Greed and Envy both involve a want for something. Maybe we can see what the Envy ring is like, as that is the only ring we haven’t seen yet. Throw in a reference to the von Eldritch family and it would be an entertaining episode.
There could one about Octavia like one about her want to go to a demon college and be a regular girl for a change, despite what her mom keeps telling her.
What were your thoughts on the episode. Is there anything I missed/didn’t write down that you want me to go over?
