(Things sure were a mess when “HELLSING” were involved, but “UNDEAD” could grow even bigger by absorbin’ em.)

(Thanks to that, we were performin’ and doing variety TV shows – things were super hectic, but I wanted to keep busy.)

(My schedule’s also packed to the brim and even though I’ve just graduated Yumenosaki, I ain’t got any time to get burnt out.)

(Actually, I think I’ve been ignorin’ real life and other small stuff ‘cause I’ve been so busy… Hm?)

What the hell…? Why’re there so many people in front of the dorm entrance?

Keito: –Oogami!

Kouga: Huh? What’s wrong, frickin’ Four-Eyes? Why’d you call out my name so energetically first thing in the mornin’?

Keito: Stop slandering glasses. In fact, you should show some respect.

Kouga: The hell? Why do I have to respect glasses?

Anyway, that ain’t important. What’s with the crowd? Did somethin’ happen?

Kouga: Why do you sometimes act like you’re my big brother or somethin’!? I’m a lone wolf, you hear – an only child!

Keito: B-bed? That strange thing is your bed?

Kanna: Yes. I checked the dormitory rules, and I don't think it prohibited bringing furniture into Seisoukan.

Koga: I see. Things must seriously be tough for Kiryu-senpai and Zakki, I feel real sorry for them.

Keito: It stands for whatever you’d like, from ‘remake’, to ‘restart’, to ‘revolution’.

Keito: In order to prevent such a miserable end, the gods and Buddhas sent us, ‘Spirits of Light.’

Keito: We travel through time and involve ourselves in various historical events.

Keito: Then, we correct everything that went wrong over the course of history, and set humanity back on the right path— That’s the set-up.

Koga: Uh, somethin’ seems kinda fishy.

Keito: Yes, I’m well aware that this sort of cold-hearted language sounds like what Eichi might say in a speech.

Keito: However, having just been born, we ‘Spirits of Light’ have no reason to doubt this development principle.

Keito: So we actively try to intervene in history. For example, we’d try and prevent tragic events from occurring.

Keito: But ultimately, for the most part, our actions change nothing, and when they do, they lead to even more suffering.

Keito: During all of this, we ‘Spirits of Light’ begin to change through our interactions with various historical figures.

Keito: We begin to question if we’re doing the right thing.

Keito: And we begin to think about what history actually is.

Keito: We think, “Is it really okay to tamper with and distort the shape of it by force?”

Keito: In the midst of this, forces who are also trying to change the course of history appear and oppose us.

Keito: Questions begin to arise, and we start to wonder if perhaps the destruction of the world will be brought about by the heavens attempting to manipulate humanity to suit their will.

Keito: …… Well, there’s quite a bit that happens.

Koga: Th-That sounds kinda grand. Felt like I was listenin’ to a movie synopsis.

Keito: Dramatic, right? Since the previous version of the show was lacking in the drama department, we decided to introduce a narrative element into ‘Rumbling Heaven and Earth R.’

Keito: The narrative is further supported by our media mix strategy, through mediums like manga.

OH MAN. THE ENTIRE WAR ?? IN GREAT DETAIL ???? ME ?????? omg the war has like. So many moving parts and theres so many characters involevd all of which doing what they do for their own unique reasons (which tended to lean selfish) and i am just a mere switchP i do not know the inner-workings of all these guys (plus if i had to sit down and try to psychoanalyze wataru and truly understand what was going on inside that mans head i feel like id evaporate) BUT!!!!! there is actually a section of the enstars wiki COMPLETELY dedicated to the war that you can read! https://ensemble-stars.fandom.com/wiki/The_War

but, to summarize; eichi had always loved idols his whole life and naturally wanted to become one. but when he had enrolled at the esteemed yumenosaki he noticed none of these students took being an idol seriously, which really got to him as eichi could die at any moment, and now he sees no one taking what he had always dreamed of seriously? so he crafted a plan with the help of keito (who has ties to the student council) and tsumugi (who is on good terms with practically everyone) to make the students feel like they could be the heroes rising from the ashes by "defeating the villain" that put yumenosaki in such disarray (even though this was of their own making). And who would be more suitable to play the antagonist against people who are selfish and lazy and dont care to put in effort themselves? why, the newly established Five Eccentrics formed completely against the members will of course! the five eccentrics who are naturally gifted and perfect in every way, unlike the other students who have now become "the underdog." and, since eichi is aware of how lazy these students are, he created a protagonist, Fine, to defeat the five eccentrics. fine was meant to represent the underdogs, hence why eichi made tsumugi officially considered the unit leader since he was the only one who was actually fitting of the title "underdog who came from nothing," and could thus set a greater example than the likes of eichi or hiyori who were born into wealth

the war was eichis meticulous plan to basically save the idol industry? or at least yumenosakis reputation, and eichi needed this done FAST because again; he could die at any minute, and he NEEDED to see it out til the end. and because he needed this plan executed in such a short amount of time he didnt care about spilling blood, ruining relationships, or making himself the villain in the end. eichi is a very self-loathing person, and during the war he had failed to realize that some people might actually genuinely like him as a friend. that part would lead to eichi unintentionally hurting those he held close too such as tsumugi, but his plan also ended up hurting the likes of leo, who he never even wanted to be part of the war to begin with because itd feel like kicking a lost puppy. only for the war to then affect leo probably the greatest of them all, as the events of Checkmate made him a depressed shut-in for half a year or so. once the war was over, the regret eichi felt was so great he didnt think he deserved to live, only for wataru to then show himself to eichi and express a desire for them to join forces and plan a second revolution, where they will be the villains and "defeated" by the shining new idols who will set a better example than they ever couldve

Among the members, who is the most kind?

Sekai: It depends on the type of kindness~ Sawa: If it’s kindness... Sekai: If you mean in terms of getting along (with others), wouldn’t it be Keito? Sawa: Yeah~ Sekai: No matter what happens he never has on a negative face/expression. Hori: Keito is definitely kind. Sawa: As expected, it's Keito. Hori: He messes around but is still caring.

Which member cries the most?

Hori: Keito! Sawa: This one is also Keito. Hori: Or it could be Yusei too~ Sekai: Those two have an image of crying a lot. If Keito watches a movie he will definitely cry, and Yusei has cried on stage many times.

Which member is the most spoiled?

Hori: It’s Taiki-kun. Taiki-kun always has to have a member or someone else with him. Sawa: Yeah for sure (laughs) Hori: Rather than being really obviously/openly spoiled, (he doesn’t like being alone so) actually he often calls Keito... (to meet him) Sekai: That guy can’t go anywhere alone! Hori: He’s also good at finding out where Yusei is and going there. He has the image of always keeping someone around him (laughs).

If you had to choose one member to be your girlfriend, who would you choose?

Sawa: Oh, we're making them our girlfriend~ Sekai: Yeah, if they were a girl. Sawa: It’s not the usual "if you were a girl (who would you date)" question. It’s the opposite. Hori: If I'm a guy and dating one of them as a girl... this is hard. Sekai: Right.... I choose myself! Since we would be the same in everything, if I had myself as a girlfriend, I think it would be really nice. To me, anyway! However… the fact that I can’t cook isn’t so good. But that much is whatever. Having the same interests is nice. Sawa: Choosing a girlfriend is hard… Sekai: Never thought about it, right~ Sawa: I don’t really want any of them as my girlfriend (laughs) but maybe Keito... since he usually becomes a girl! Keiko-chan! Hori: Honestly, since he crossdresses for our concerts and dramas, in terms of visual he’s probably the best (laughs). Sawa: Because in Fanta he’s the one who crossdresses the most (laughs). Hori: He seems to be getting better at it lately. It seems like his face is becoming more well suited to dressing up as a girl (laughs) Sawa: In our drama, he played a girl too, right? If it’s female roles, he did one in Mannequin. (tn: Mannequin Night Fever) Staff: So in terms of looks, it’s Keito? Sawa: Yeah, in terms of looks (laughs). Hori: I think so too (laughs).

If you were to become a fan of a member, who would you choose?

Hori: Probably Sota. I think since he updates his SNS and stuff so faithfully, if I became his fan I would get to see him a lot. So if I really think about it I would likely become his fan. Sekai: SawaNatsu. Because he's sexy! Even though he doesn’t take off his clothes during concerts or try hard to appeal himself (to fans) he’s still sexy. Sawa: A fan of sexiness (laughs). Sekai: Yes, I'm a fan of sexiness. Sawa: For me, probably Sekai-san. He often does things like live broadcasts. Since he often does fan-only broadcasts, I think he’s someone who thinks about his fans a lot.

If you were to bring one member with you to a deserted island, who would you choose?

Hori: One person to a deserted island, huh... Sekai: One person right? Then Taiki~ Ah, but he would probably feel betrayed. Sawa: If he feels betrayed you’re in trouble (laughs). Hori: For me, Keito. Because then I can do whatever I want (laughs). Sawa: Definitely (laughs). Then for me I'd say Sota. I feel like when we’re together we can breathe easily. Outside of work when we go on walks together, or go eat we get along really well, so I think (taking) Sota is good. Sekai: Yeah, I'm okay with Taiki. If he seems betrayed, we can just battle! However, when it comes to making fire and stuff I'll probably have to do it all myself and make the place for us to sleep too, but that’s fine.

Who is the strongest drinker amongst the members?

Sekai: Huh?! Alcohol?! Sawa: I have no idea… Hori: The vocals have an image of being strong drinkers. Sekai: Isn’t SawaNatsu strong? Sawa: No no, I’m weak. I’m so weak (laughs) Sekai: Really? Last time we went to eat I felt like you just kept drinking. Sawa: Because (the drink) was weak! Sekai: Yusei is strong, but his engine is slow to start (tn: takes a while to get into drinking mode) Sawa: If I think of it that way, then Taiki-kun is strong too. Hori: Yusei’s crazy. Sekai: Definitely Yusei. Even though he only drinks occasionally, he’s strong. Staff: Do you drink outside of work? Hori: I don’t drink much. Sekai: I hate drinking! Sawa: Sekai-san is the weakest (laughs)

Among the members, who is the most girly? (lit: heart is most like a girl)

Hori: Like a girl... Sekai: Who’s heart is most like a girl!? Sawa: If it’s like this we can probably never answer (laughs) Hori: "Heart" huh... Sawa: This is hard… Hori: What (qualifies as) like a girl...? (laughs) Sawa: I know right. Hori: I don’t know the criteria for being like a girl (laughs) Sekai: Aside from us three, they’re all girly! Sawa: Ah, maybe (laughs) Sekai: They only care about little things!!

What member can you most rely on?

Sekai: Rely on them?! Hori: Rely on... for me the two oldest. Sawa: I can rely on Sekai-san. Sekai: Huh! For me SawaNatsu~ I can rely on him more than Taiki (laughs) I can rely on Taiki too, but there’s less categories (tn: that he can rely on him for) Sawa: He’s specialized in specific areas (laughs) Sekai: That’s right, (he’s) specialized. He’s the type that fails if you rely on him too much. SawaNatsu is the type that never fails! Sawa: No, I don’t know about that. That’s a lot of pressure (laughs) Sekai: Since these two (NatsuNatsu) are the strong type, they’re really reliable.

Who has the biggest gap (in personality) between onstage and offstage (in private)?

Sawa: Keito is unexpectedly like that. He’s really cool. Onstage he’s amazing, while showing those faces and making those expressions (laughs) In private he never shows that face. There’s not even a hint of it. As expected since he’s the youngest, he tries to put the senpais above him and is very cute. But onstage, Keito is unyielding. Hori: That’s definitely true. Sekai: Yusei is exactly the same. A little dumb and cute. A careless person!

Nazuna: We’re all done here for today! Come on over and get rest, I got some drinks for everyone too ♪

Koga: Oh, I just happen to be thirsty too. Aren’t you a pretty reliable guy.

Nazuna: Koga-chin, Adonis-chin, and you too, Kuro-chin, please let me properly thank each one of you for today! We couldn’t have done it without you guys!

You guys should’ve been having fun and enjoying yourselves here at the amusement park, but instead, you ended up sticking around to help me and Tomo-chin out. Sorry about that.

Koga: I thought it would’ve made more sense to do this~ Besides, Kiryu-senpai said you pitched in for these tickets. Take this as me returnin’ the favour.

Kuro: I didn’t really expect mascot work to suit ya, Oogami. I dare say you ended up hoggin’ the spotlight from the few of us — the crowd loved you.

Adonis: Agreed. Although Oogami wasn’t sure of how mascots worked at first and was naturally clumsy, that clumsiness added flair to his charm and attracted many people to us.

Once he got used to it, he looked really cool air-guitaring [1] in the dog mascot. A lot of kids started imitating him and had a lot of fun.

Koga: Hah! Of course I’d look cool! Unfortunately, they didn’t have a wolf mascot, so I had no choice but to put on the dog one.

But y’all should always, always remember that I’m a lone wolf! And that’s never gonna change — ever!

Nazuna: Whatever you say~ If we get the chance to work with them again in the future, I’ll try to suggest adding a wolf mascot as well. After all, wolves can be both cool and kind too, don’t you think~?

Tomoya: Phew… Sorry about that, I made you guys wait too long!

Since the promotional performance was such a big hit, and we even got other idols to promote with us, other than the additional pay for overtime work, they even gave us some extra tickets, other souvenirs and trinkets.

Koga: Oooh, that guitar keychain doesn’t look too shabby, I’m callin’ dibs on it ♪ Adonis, do you want one too?

Nazuna: I’ll just give mine to Hajime-chin. I’m sure he would really love to share it with his younger siblings ♪

Kuro: Now that you’ve mentioned it, I should probably ask my li’l sister if she wants to come here over the summer too. Since movin’ to Seishou Hall, it’s probably been a hot minute since I last got to spend some time with her.

I could take advantage of this time to write up an itinerary for her beforehand. Do you guys think girls would want to ride on that roller coaster…? Or would that be too overkill?

Nazuna: Hm? Do you know him, Kuro-chin?

Kuro: Nah, I just saw him when I first started handin’ out those balloons from earlier. I might’ve scared him at that time that he almost fell over.

We just locked eyes now, I feel like the kid’s still afraid of me. Nito, could I trouble you guys to go check up on him? If he is lost, his family’s probably worried by now.

Nazuna: Kuro-chin…

Koga: Oi, you there, what’s with that gloomy look for, huh? And here I thought somethin’ bad happened.

Don’t you wanna ride the roller coaster? If you don’t wanna go alone, then I could just go with you, you know!

Nazuna: K-Koga-chin, let’s not get ahead of ourselves… It’s probably best to ask the child what he actually wants first.

Koga: Tch, if this guy can’t make up his damn mind, then he should get out of my sight.

Kuro: Yo, Otogari. I could hear Oogami’s loud voice all the way from here, but I still don’t think I should go over… Could I trouble you to tell me what’s goin’ on over that?

Adonis: Of course. Basically, the kid came here together with his friends, but all of them went their separate ways to do their own thing, so now he has no one to ride the roller coaster with.

Actually, the roller coaster’s quite famous in the neighbourhood. It seems to be some kind of symbol of courage to the kids.

He’s always wanted to try it out but was too scared to go alone. That’s why he just stood there, lamenting over how he wasn’t brave enough to do it.

Tomoya: Huh… I think I really get how he’s probably feeling. I’m the same too, whenever I bump into problems that seem hard to solve. I end up wanting to give up because I’m so bummed over how I don’t have what it takes to get through it.

But if he does manage to overcome this obstacle, then this would help him grow a lot.

Koga: …‘Kay then, he says he’s fine with it, so let’s go ride that roller coaster now!

Tomoya: Ahaha, you seem really assertive, Oogami-senpai. It makes me wonder if the kid even had a choice…

Koga: Oi, what are you even shiverin’ for? We’re literally just linin’ up, the real challenge has yet to come.

Haaaa? So you’re sayin’ you’re already tryin’ your best to mentally prepare yourself, but the screamin’ of other people still scares you?

…You’re hopeless. Fine, take my hand then. Ain’t it really reassurin’ to have someone by your side?

Since you chose to pluck up the courage to face this and not run away from it, I’ll let you in on a secret.

Look closely, ai’ght? If you ever feel like a cat on hot bricks, all you have to do is do this sign with your hand and yell, “ROCK N’ ROLL—”!!

There we go! That’s how you do it! Just scream out all your pent-up feelin’s! Aren’t you a natural at this ♪

Kuro: Haha, looks like Oogami’s back to his usual self. I never thought that he’d be this good with kids.

But I still don’t think I’ll be up for roller coaster rides as a form of entertainment anytime soon… That to me is like an upgraded vehicle version of a trial to hell.

Nazuna: Ahaha, you’ve already done enough for us today, Kuro-chin. If it triggers your motion sickness, you shouldn’t have to push yourself to do it.

Besides, we have our reliable Koga-chin to accompany the kid. So let’s all just sit back, relax, and watch the brave warrior save the day ♪

— A few minutes later

Koga: Yo—! I’m back! Sorry for makin’ everyone wait!

Adonis: Hm? Oogami, what’s that in your hand?

Koga: Oh, it’s a copy of a photo from when we rode the roller coaster. I mean, this is proof of our courage ♪

Look at our photo, don’t you think we look real cool and swag?

Adonis: Ah. The both of you did that Rock n’ Roll sign with your hands as the roller coaster fell. I think that’s rather creative.

Tomoya: Plus, Oogami-senpai’s other hand has been holding the kid’s hand tightly the entire time so he wouldn’t feel scared. I never thought you could be this considerate.

Koga: Oi, oi. I was just showin’ this to y’all so you could praise me for bein’ cool! Stop goin’ off-track, would you?!

…Oh, right. That li’l brat still has somethin’ he wants to do.

Kuro: Oh? Why’s that kid suddenly walkin’ towards me? What on earth is happenin’?

You wanna apologise to me? So you’re try’na tell me that you ran away earlier not because you hated me, but because you sized me up so quickly from my appearance alone and thought I looked mean, so you ran away?

And then you realised I wasn’t even scary at all after ya mustered up the courage from ridin’ that rollercoaster? That Oogami-nii-chan over there told ya real courageous warriors know how to own up to their mistakes and apologise for them?

Haha, I didn’t take it to heart, so, it’s fine. Ya really seem to be becomin’ braver, good boy, good boy ♪

Nazuna: Sobs… This is great… Koga-chin, thank you so much for today.

Koga: Hah? But I didn’t even do anythin’? I just tried to knock some sense into that guy, so what are ya even thankin’ me for?

Nazuna: The kid even says he wants to be as cool and as mature as you in the future. Looks like you’ve become his role model, Koga-chin ♪

Koga: Ahah… Seems like you have a good eye for things, huh. Well then, you’re my kouhai now.

Keito: …? Sakuma, what are you talking about while looking at your phone? Did you receive information about work?

Rei: Unfortunately, you are wrong. Adonis-kun sent me a photo of him and Koga in the amusement park. Seeing such joyous smiles on the faces of your juniors is quite healing ♪

have a rough plan in place or even an outline if you can

and you know that rush you get when you imagine your characters doing stuff in an amv or when you chat about them with a friend? you gotta jump into thew riting while thats still buzzing if you can!

plus it helps to have lovely pepole to encourage you, while its also VERY important to make srue not to prioritize ao3 comments or peoples attention over your enjoyment, as long as you can take that part in without working FOR attention and love you'll do great.

think of it like, Wataru

Wataru is doing his acts and all his amazing things for praise

as lovely as wataru is , hes very very sad and he's just trying to be loved <3 so even if he does an amzing job at everything he does, he's not happy unless someone else enjoys what he does! and that can trap you in trying too hard to gain others aprooval and forgetting what you yourself do!

another thing is challenging yourself, if you doubt yourself doing something big and scary like nanowrimo or actually completing an entire book can make the big scary thing not so bad. The important thing there to remember is that anything that can bleed, can die. That is to say, if you can 'cause damage' to somethings hp bar, you can defeat it as long as you keep attacking it! eventually it will fall.

you can write an entire book just fine, if you just keep writing it.

But you gotta give yourself an hp bar for the thing or it can feel overwhelming. personally i go with a "ask a question, answer it, and ask another question" style usually when im writing

usually i would say a good chapter length is about 5,000 words max, and then writing out an outline

reveal: Eichi is turning into a horrrible magical monster and keito has to become a magical boy to save him

resolution: keito becomes a magical boy and saves eichi!

question: what's going on and how is keito going to save the world from these aliens

(in this case the question kind of sets up the overarching primary plot point- having at least one can help a lot in storytelling but theres so many different ways to tell stories. i like personally really like the 'no conflict narrative' that some japanese stories have, not that they really lack a conflict but its great for slice of life things and can kind of be stretched a lot of ways i think its called Kishotenketsu

but you know, find a method that works for you but the most important rule for writing a lot fast, is to just have fun and be self indulgent, the hardest thing to do when it comes to writing a lot, is make yourself write at all after all, as long as you actually are writing something you REALLY enjoy and like writing, you'll want to keep writing. stay true and honest to yourself and if you hae ONE big scene in mind you freaking LOVE and dont erally want to write the rest you are tottaly allowed to do that. The difference between talent and skill is often passion.

Oh and NEVER. EVER. INSULT YOUR WRITING.

DONT BE HARSH. DONT BE CRUEL.

AND DONT JUDGE YOUR WRITING UNFAIRLY, INF ACT, TRY NOT TO JUDGE IT AT ALL ,JUST ENJOY IT. SURE ITS OKAY TO STUDY AND SEE WHERE YOU COULD IMPROVE AND GROW, BUT DO THAT BECAUSE YOU ENJOY WRITING AND WANT TO WRITE BETTER NOT BECAUSE YOU THINK YOU'RE BAD do it because you love writing and you want to love it even more and show it how much you love it by getting better <3 compliment yourself and your creative projects often

tldr: Do what you enjoy, never insult yourself, and remember to not push yourself to conform to others expectations and praise, but do praise yourself lots and lots <3 source: a lovely writer who enjoys it very much and can truly say they love writing

personally i got stuck in a huge rut by the way a few years back when my mom told me she struggled to get into my writing because i never finished anything and it took me a long time to finally work past that though she never meant anything harsh by it. It took facing nanowrimo to suddenly kick my love of writing back into gear. completing and sucessfully writing an entire actual book proved to me i could.

also on that note one more tip

writing an entire book actually isint that big a deal, its super exciting sure! you should celebrate it! but it's something we put on a pedestal which makes it seem superhuman to complete, but...it's really not. now ive written several books since nanowrimo last year, and you can really see just looking at my fanfictions how heavily beating that helped me. writing is FUN

writing can BE fun

the biggest thing ive ever seen stop writers is fear, shame, and doubt. Same with artists, or anyone else with any skills. love, love , love~ <3

just keep writing, keep loving it, and you'll find that even if you only write a little a day, youll eventually get your goals done <3 any mountain is climbable with patience time and love!

The two of you strayed from the path to the festival, taken away by the beauty of a meadow of dandelions which laid downhill, past some trees. In excitement, you took him by his hand and rushed to the direction of the flowery field. He didn't like sudden surprises, but he didn't stop you from taking him with you. Wherever you went, he wanted to go with you.

When you reached the field, you both settled somewhere in the middle, under the ray of sun that shone through the sky clear of trees. The meadow felt absolutely surreal. It was as if the two of you stepped into a portal, to a place where it was just the two of you alone, surrounded by the swaying dandelions.

"I have never seen so many flowers in one place, it's as if we are in a whole different world!" You exclaimed in wonder, taking in the scene around you.

You looked so beautiful with the way you were mesmerized by the dandelions. It was a moment he wanted to freeze, to take into his hands and hold close to his heart. He picked one dandelion from the ground and looked at it, lost in his feelings.

"Oh Keito have you heard? If you make a wish and blow on a dandelion, your wish will come true!" You looked at him in excitement. "Let's make wishes together and see if they come true!"

Keito chuckled at your childlike demeanor brought upon by the field of dandelions. "Yes, I supposed that wouldn't hurt," he said as he picked another with his free hand. A second wish in case his first one didn't come true.

"Yes, let's make two wishes! Two is better than one!" You smiled as you picked a dandelion with each hand. "Okay Keito, you can go first!"

He looked at you and then at the dandelion in his hand. All of this felt silly to him; of course, there was nothing that proved dandelions could make your wishes come true. But deep inside, there was a wish that he had really wanted to come true. If only this dandelion in his hand held the power to do so. If it did have the power, then why not wish for it?

He took a breath and began his wish: Please let y/n be mine.

It wasn't a long wish, but it meant so much to him. Those simple words had led him down a trail of thoughts and memories of the times he had spent together with you, each and every one he cherished with the heart he opened for you. For so long he had been by your side, and by your side is forevermore where he wants to be. If only the dandelion in his hand could grant him this much.

You watched him as he sat silently with his eyes closed, surprised that he actually put faith in the dandelions. He looked serene for the most part, but upon a closer look, the small creases in his skin indicated his desire for his wish to come true. It was a beautiful sight, and you hoped that whatever he wished for, it would come true. After a moment, he opened his eyes and blew on the dandelion, watching the fluff dance in the air before they hit the ground.

"Wow Keito, you took a really long time, you must really want your wish to come true!" You said to him thoughtfully.

Keito glanced at you for a second before immediately turning his head away, shielding your eyes from the bright red that spread throughout his cheeks. "N-no it wasn't anything serious. It's not like dandelions can actually make wishes come true anyways." He slid up his glasses nervously and tried to pull himself together.

"Yes they can! I hope they can make your wish come true!" You smiled at him. He quickly turned his head back towards you with a surprised look on his face. The way you said those words, unaware of what they truly meant. He felt his heart ache at the thought of you realizing his feelings and rejecting them, after giving him so much hope for his wish to come true.

"Okay now it's my turn!" You held the dandelion in front of you and closed your eyes. There wasn't anything in particular that you wished for, but there was one thing that you could not ignore: You wished that this feeling could never go away. It was an unnamed feeling that had been occupying your chest for a while, but today it was stronger than ever. You didn't know what caused this feeling to surge: was it the sight of dandelions combined with the gentle warmth of the sun? Was it the underlying wonder and excitement that dandelions could possibly make wishes come true? Was it the man next to you, the person you had admiration for and trusted? The person you had known since the beginning of time, with whom you had shared your happiest moments with? Even though a small part of you wished to know what brought upon this feeling, whatever this feeling was, you wanted to continue feeling it.

You opened your eyes and blew the dandelion, watching the fluff with hope that your wish could come true.

And then for a moment, the world had gone quiet. You watched as the dandelions swayed quietly in the gentle breeze, until you had felt a pair of lips softly make contact with your cheek. It hadn't startled you, nor did you try to stop it. It was as if you were welcomed into a warm embrace, telling you that you had finally made it to where you belong.

As soon as the lips left your cheek, you turned towards him slowly, shades of red spread across your cheeks. He met your eyes for only a brief moment, before looking away in embarrassment. it's like never stated when eihiyo meets but it's Obviously fairly young because of the way they refer to each other . i have insane bias so i put them as like toddler friends but realistically they may have met shortly before nagisa came into the tomoe family, since it's stated that the foundation is falling as of ! era meaning they were far more likely to have met years prior in its peak .

SO . let's look at what eichi says here . he says he's similar to hiyori by admitting it would be like looking at himself, and this is a sentiment they both repeat in other stories; i haven't read altered but i am so sure it probably echoes this . he also knows hiyori well enough to understand that they're not particularly amicable, nor is hiyori someone who's easy to deal with when he doesn't fancy it . additionally, in pretty mission, we get these interactions;

it's very likely the two of them attended social gatherings for high society families, which would also perhaps be where hiyori could vaguely know the himemiya family from aside from word of mouth ( it's established in a hiyori side story from ! that he has met tori before, but i believe tori says it was during his time with exfine ? )

we also get to see, in altered, that eichi is more than capable of courtesy and awareness of hiyori's false behaviors . he also says here that they've known each other a long time 🧐 fascinating . okay then . so they mutually understand one another and can't lie to each other ? sounds like something people in a FORMER RELATIONSHIP WOULD SAY !!!!!!! congrats to eichi for being the most divorced nineteen year old in the world

moving onto summer live which ummm was done by kotofucius ( a long inactive tl :( hope they're okay ) right here, but i have screenshots from the wiki saved so it's what you get lol ❤️ anyway hiyori states it's been a long time since he's seen eichi, and we know this is after the war so we can assume hiyori and eichi more or less fell out after hiyori transferred to reimei . tsumugi states ( in a story i can't recall ? may be ss ) that he keeps in contact with hiyori and nagisa, and that ibara ( <- i believe he says "that kid" or something though, referring to nagisa's roommate and partner, who is ibara ) has helped nagisa grow as a person etc etc so Why did hiyori ghost eichi 🧐 but it's easy enough to understand .

i accidentally grabbed so many screenshots but wonder game gives us a decent glimpse into their dynamic too .

i put them all side by side on mobile to save space a little but the gist of this is that eichi is . very .. aware ? of hiyori's personality and mannerisms, and feels comfortable calling them out . hiyori is someone who canonically wears a facade so imo it's very interesting that eichi calls his bluffs, points out his flaws, etc without much thought at all . they're obviously close and well acquainted no matter how much they appear to hate one another .

we see it later in summer live too, he advises hokuto almost nonstop for the trickstar/eve meeting because he understands hiyori and grasps quite well that he's difficult when he wants to be, which is exactly how he ends up acting with hokuto; really the only reason they get through that meeting is eichi's guidance and hokuto getting pissed off enough to get hiyori to respect him . a tiny bit .

also, in wonder game again, we get to see the fact that hiyori is eventually dedicated to eichi's cause despite hating him . in my opinion this is hiyori deflecting; i believe they're actually much closer than either of them admit in ! era stories ( which is Basically all i've referenced so far ), and their !! banter is definitely meant to be read as far more playful

hiyori acknowledges eichi's dedication and seems to admire it, and also shut up look at what hiyori says in summer live you will not believe this shit

Touri: I–I was thinking of talking to you about it sooner or later.

Yuzuru: Hehe. He currently doesn’t have a favourable position in the election, so he must not have wanted to show you how shameful he looks, Eichi-sama.

Eichi: If that’s true, then all the more reason he should’ve talked to me about it. Well, oddly enough, Touri doesn’t tend to rely on me.

Yuzuru: And he’s someone who prefers to act bigger than he really is. I think both of you are being stand-offish with each other.

Touri: Oh, enough! Yumenosaki has nothing to do with what we’re talking about!

It’s okay. I’ll handle it myself. Anyway, this Atlantis thing is more important right now, isn’t it?

Eichi: You mean “Project-ATLANTIS.”

Touri: Yeah! That’s what we were talking about.

Yuzuru: It’s an everyday occurrence for the conversation to split into different directions, though.

Eichi: Reality isn’t a one-way story, after all. We have no choice but to stretch our arms out and use a deductive method to get the real image to rise to the surface.

Even if it’s an impractical way of doing things.

In any case, This “Project-ATLANTIS”...

“Project-ATLANTIS” is something created as a part of the “big wave” and refers to the plan to create ES branch offices throughout the country.

I say branches but it may be more appropriate to say that it’ll be an outpost to suppress the anti-ES organisations scattered around Japan.

Yuzuru: I see. That would indeed be necessary. 

As long as ES remains as an organisation based under centralised authoritarian rule, their power will become weaker and weaker the more one travels to the regional areas.

An apparatus would be needed to thoroughly control the entire nation.

Touri: Is it? What’s atlantis? I think I’ve seen the name pop up in manga or something before…

Yuzuru: The Young Master has been recently quoting and referencing manga often so I’m quite worried.

Eichi: Liking manga is nothing to be embarrassed about. You can be an honest man even if you’re a fan of manga – Keito is proof of that.

Read manga and it’ll dull your intellect. Play video games and it’ll do the same. That’s simply hearsay that arose from the feelings of discrimination manga fans felt between themselves and the rest of humanity.

There is no scientific explanation for it. In any case…

Yuzuru: That’s the fourth time now.

Eichi: How much are you getting paid to count that? …I’m planning on increasing the number of ES branches and their related businesses within the country in the future.

The things that will be handled in “Project-ATLANTIS” will be the components that will form the trunk as it takes root all over the nation.

Five big trees – ES included – will be planted throughout the country. ES will be at the centre of it all, spreading its branches far and wide over the land.

All the while exterminating the pests – the anti-ES organisations – that gnaw away at it.

Yuzuru: An outpost… So that is what you had meant by colonisation.

Eichi: Yeah. And from there, arrangements will be put in place for new idols to be born from that colony.

Idols will harvest from those fields in the future – from massive plantations that are made up of ES and the other trees throughout the country.

But there is a lot of history at the centre of one of those five trees.

The building progress for one of the branch offices has been quite slow for a variety of reasons.

For us in the idol industry, the land the branch will be built on has been untouchable for a long time.

In that land, “Godfather”, who established and controlled the idol industry for many years, had set his eyes on it.

It seems the man who was once referred to as god tried to build a prototype of ES there.

That mythical and original version of ES is called “ATLANTIS”.

You said it was an inauspicious name, didn’t you, Yuzuru? You chose the perfect word to describe it.

God had his eyes set on the “land that was planned to be a utopia”, but a great disaster befell the land and it left behind a large scar that still exists to this day.

That land carried away God's dreams and ideals in a big wave and submerged it all.

Just like the mythical ancient civilisation of Atlantis, which was destroyed in a disaster.

It was a disaster from more than twenty years ago and we weren’t even born then, so I only know of the event, though.

It wouldn’t be odd if that region ended up cursed, but we’ll reach our arms out once again. No, we’ll build the utopia that even God couldn’t realise.

We’ll make ATLANTIS, which ended in a dream, become reality.

That’s why this plan is called “Project-ATLANTIS”.

Keito: Anzu, you'll be making my 'Special outfit'. I thought it might be possible to incorporate my personal feelings as an idol into this costume, so I made an attempt to tell them to you.

Here's small progress on a fanfic im making!

What happens after you die?

That’s a question that has been asked since the beginning of time.

To Eichi it meant nothing.

He, as an angel, saw countless lives be lost and reborn. The cycle was endless.

There were few humans he felt any connection with, but they all ended in the same way.

Death.

Tsumugi Aoba, a kind but unfortunate person, died in a terrible car accident.

Kanta Shinkai, a quite eccentric individual, drowned. His body was never to be recovered.

Leo Tsukinaga, a genius musician- his melodies enchanted and brought joy to millions… only to have ended his life.

All human lives had to end.

However, no matter what he did, Eichi always found wonder, joy, and curiosity in their lives.

Keito, a lower-ranking angel who never seemed to leave him alone, always chastised him for interacting with humans. Today was another one of those days.

“Eichi! How many times do I have I have to tell you! We only collect their souls, what even is that you’re holding!?” Keito shouted.

“Hm? It’s a ‘potato chip’, I’ve heard it’s a trendy human food.” He waves it in front of the other angel. “You should try it.”

Keito slaps it out of his hands. “Ugh! You’re insufferable.” He then hands him a scroll. “Here, this is your next soul.”

Eichi takes the scroll and quickly scans it- ‘Wataru Hibiki’

The basic information was quite lacking, with little to no background about this particular human, however, Eichi noticed that he was quite young.

"What a waste~," he said in a sing-song voice. "Life as a human is so cruel. I wonder what God's purpose is..." He is about to fall into one of his typical rambles, however, Keito glares at him.

"Eichi, you know if you keep questioning our Lord's actions you'll fall due to your curiosity and hubris. Just make sure to retrieve the soul quickly and leave." He says as he goes back to his stuffy study.

Eichi sighed, it was time to work.

He looks around where the soul had led him, seeing a young man walking across a theater stage, despite being all alone his presence could fill the whole room.

"And so, with all my heart I shall say 'This is Love'" Wataru shouted in a dramatic tone, his voice was one to rival his fellow angels, and the force of which it resonated was something inhuman- Eichi's eyes shined.

Suddenly, he could feel a gaze upon him, Wataru was looking straight at Eichi, but that couldn't be possible, he was invisible to humans at the moment.

"Why, hello there, audience member~! Have you come to see my performance? Or have you come here to take my soul?" He said with a flamboyant bow, Eichi was shocked.

"Oh my, you can see me," Wataru just nodded while approaching him. "Yes, it's true, I have come for your life." He had many questions for this man, however, he was so entranced he felt like all of his worries faded away.

"I see," Wataru takes his hand against his. He can feel the warmth that radiates from him, he is so... alive. "I do have some requests if you will before your precious hands take me away." 

Eichi recalls Keito's words, just take the soul and leave, just take the soul and leave... but it wouldn't be a crime to let him have his way, right?

And so, with a gentle smile, Eichi agreed.

ok wild question but im oh so curious on who do you think would keep short hair when in femstars i feel like long haired shu is the most befitting of her character (and desperately wished og shu also had long hair bc like. dude is missing out. we know what you are, itsuki!) but with certain characters i feel like still having semi short hair if not outright their originals would fit them (ilke eichi for example i can imagine only having slightly longer hair or keeping her hair the same as her og counterpart)

eichi and yuzuru are two characters i like to picture with short hair! shoulder-length for eichi would be cute, and yuzuru keeping that hairstyle would look beautiful i think !!

i think maos hair would remain the same, and maybe subaru would have Relatively short hair, although i think itd be a little longer than canon at the very least

chiaki has a messy short bob that she puts into a ponytail! and kanata keeps her canonical hair due to her backstory. i can see tetora rocking short hair aswell, but im a bit torn bc i can ALSO see her growing it out so HMMM.....
