i heard a rumor….

eren jaeger is so nosey when he hears the rumor going around. he’s intrigued by your crush on him and he wants to know every little detail, of course by everyone else and not you. he gathers everyone’s opinion and saves you for last. he doesn’t beat around the bush; he tells you he knows that you’re crushing hardcore on him. he’s playful and witty, trying to get you all flustered.

armin arlert, bless his heart, tries to be cool about it. and he does a fairly good job you think. he often finds ways to get you two alone but he never makes a bold move. he asks if he can help you do things, tries to find common interests, etc. you know he knows because you find him trying to spend too much time with you, not that you’re complaining. he just lets things take their course.

jean kirsteins plays the disinterested, too-cool-for-you character. he’s damn good at it too. his actions and short replies hurt your ego and your heart. so, you give him the same treatment back. this, he’s not a fan of. he demands that you tell him why you’re treating him like this and you respond that you’re just dishing out what he is. that makes him go ‘oh’ and it results in a very around the bush way of telling you he has some sort of feelings for you but he was trying to repress it.

connie springer grins from ear to ear for days end when he hears the news. he was already crushing on you big time and now that you like him back, he’s convinced your soulmate. shamelessly, connie asks (it’s more of a statement) that you go on a date. you cant believe he knows. you want to just disappear when he confronts you but he doesn’t understand why. “am i coming on too strong? hold on, i can get weak in the knees real quick.”

levi ackerman acts like he doesn’t know about your feelings for him. his behavior isn’t much different than when he didn’t know- his eye’s just tend to linger on you a bit longer. his gaze makes you feel…violated. it’s like he’s looking right through you or undressing you with his eyes. hard to tell. he continues driving you crazy in various subtle ways until you can’t take it anymore and wind up confessing at him in a ‘why are you doing this to me’ moment. he just laughs.

reiner braun's interest is piqued, that's for sure. he's not so smooth about it, always turning into a flustered mess when he's around you. you, now beginning to panic he knows your secret, turn into a shorter flustered mess. your awkwardness makes all your friends laugh and they just tease you more, which causes more stuttering and the cycle repeats. eren's the one who finally sets you up, not able to bare any more of reiner's incoherence.

bertholdt hoover makes the brave decision of telling you how he feels. he doesn't pick the greatest time. he tells you in front of all your friends and that leaves you feeling a little pressured. so, you get up and drag him away from everyone. the two of you share a raw confessional in peace and quiet. it leaves your heart full.

zeke jaeger texts you as soon as eren tells him. he doesn't wait for any more clarification. the text reads, heard you're basically in love with me. I'll pick you up later: a man of his word, he comes and picks you up. you try to him he's ridiculous but he knows you're his future wife.

erwin smith does his best to avoid you. a crush is meaningless to him.but fuck, the way you look at him makes his heart stop. he's beginning to think that there's something wrong with him- he can't breathe when you're around him. one night, he has too much wine to drink and accidentally lets it slip that he knows. he decides he doesn't care anymore and kisses you on the forehead, leaving you confused about the way he feels about you.

porco galliard's too fucking cocky. he starts spreading the rumor himself once he gets wind of it. he tells everyone he knows, bragging about it over and over. the rumor makes it's way back to you and you want to cry. so, that's what you do. you know everyone knows, so he must know. porco catches you crying and is upset with himself for spreading it. he didn't know you'd be so embarassed, considering he ‘obviously feels the same way’

Summary: Eren confronts you, Armin, and Mikasa about how he actually feels. Is that all really true though? Maybe your confession will give you an answer.

This wasn’t what was supposed to happen. Not like this. The tension in the room was dangerously thick. Gabi sat at the table with Armin, Mikasa, and you.

Your hands were tightly clutching your thighs as Armin spoke to her. She killed Sasha. Your roommate. Your friend.

“We won’t kill you,” Armin said, his eyes downcast.

“Why not? I know you must want to.” Gabi’s eyes were filled with a dim glow.

“Why would I want that?” He sighed. “Always with the killing. It’s all you ever think about… just like someone else I know.”

The door opened suddenly, and footsteps entered the room. It was Eren.

"Oh, look. It's the brat that killed Sasha."

The three of you gasped upon seeing him. He looked so different and you could tell the light from his eyes was gone. Now just a dull glow. Your breath hitched in your throat at the sight of him.

“Eren..”

Eren’s hand raised to show a deep cut on his palm, blood trailing out. He sat down at the table across from everyone.

“I don’t want any trouble.” He said, his voice deep and sullen. “More conflict isn’t necessary to solve Eldia’s problems. Hange and the others are fine. We’re just relocating them.”

“Eren.” Armin started, surprising even himself almost. “We’ve all wanted to talk to you too.”

It almost seems too surreal. Your thoughts swirled through your head as you tried to listen to Armin’s words.

“…did they really convince you to join their side?”

Silence. Eren’s gaze was set on the white tablecloth. His blood oozed out of his wound and the crimson liquid stained the cloth.

“I am free, Armin.”

The words made you shudder. Mikasa and Armin both tensed next to you.

“My actions are governed by nothing but my own free will.” He continued.

“So you’re saying this was all on you?” Armin asked, his voice a bit shaky in disbelief.

“Yes-”

Mikasa shifted and cut in. “No. You’re being manipulated! The Eren we know would never involve civilians and children in war, even if they were enemies.”

“And you wouldn’t put us at risk either. You care about us more than anything.” You argued, making Eren’s gaze shift to you. His eyes were different, anything but loving. This was no longer the kid you fell in love with.

“Right?” Mikasa added, her tone becoming shakier and her eyes glossy. She stood up at the table. “You saved me from those kidnappers back at the cabin. You wrapped this scarf around me because you care!”

“I said keep your hands on the table, Mikasa.” Eren’s voice was sharp. She was startled by him and sat back down. You glanced towards Gabi next to you and her eyes were wide in dread, not looking at anything but the table.

Eren explained about his talk with Zeke and the Titans. “Armin.”

The blonde looked up at Eren.

“What made you start visiting Annie? Do you really believe it was your own free will?”

“W-what?” Armin’s eyes widened. “I don’t-”

“If memories play a major role in shaping us into who we are, then a part of you has become Bertholdt. Do you understand? An enemy within an enemy. He’s gotten in your head. You’re the one being manipulated by the enemy.”

“Hey! Why would you-?” Mikasa quickly cut in.

“You’re being controlled too.” Eren quipped. His eyes then met yours. “And so are you.”

He made your breathing quiver as you refused to believe him, you wanted to refuse. But the way his eyes held no sentiment or remorse for his words signified everything.

Eren looked back to Mikasa. “The Ackerman clan was designed perfectly to protect the King. Your instincts were dormant until I awakened it inside of you when I ordered you to fight. Your blood mistook me as the host you needed to protect.”

“No- that can’t be.” She whimpered and clenched the tablecloth in her hands.

“It can’t?” Eren’s tone had a bit of surprise in it. “Why not.”

“Because it wasn’t a mistake.” 

Eren stopped her and continued clarifying her Ackerman blood background.

“No, I-” She whispered.

“In other words: slaves. You're a slave, Mikasa.”

Armin stood up abruptly and slammed his hands on the table.

“Stop! Leave her alone!” He pleaded. You glanced at Mikasa and you could see her holding back her tears. Her head was down and you quickly placed your hand on hers in consolation, she grasped tightly onto yours.

You were only half paying attention to Eren’s speech. Now, your fixation was settling your friend. Your thumb swiped over her hand in small circles. Her soft cries escaped her lips.

It wasn’t until you heard Eren say those horrible words that you stopped.

“Ever since I was a kid, Mikasa. I've always hated you.”

“Eren, how could you say that to her?” Armin yelled and climbed over the table, desperate to grab at Eren.

Mikasa shoved you off of her and quickly stood up. Her hands seized Armin and pinned him down to the table, his arm bent dangerously behind his back.

“Mikasa, let go!” You shouted and gripped her elbow.

Armin looked at her in shock and she quickly let go of him. Mikasa backed away with tears streaming down her face and gasped at what she had done.

“No, I-I was just…” She couldn’t even finish her sentence before Eren cut her off.

“You see? That blood is all you are.” Eren said.

You held an arm up in front of Mikasa as Armin once again jumped onto the table and swung his fist at Eren.

Gabi stood up abruptly as the table flipped over and Eren fell back on the floor. Armin let out a yell and raised his fists again as Eren quickly stood up.

You both watched in horror as Eren punched Armin in the jaw, evading his other attempts to hit him. Eren grabbed the collar of Armin’s uniform and threw him into the wine cabinet, bottles and glasses toppling over and shattering on impact.

“Eren!” You yelled with tears in your eyes. You were about to take a step forward to break them up when Mikasa held you back.

Turning towards her with wide eyes, she shook her head, the tears still falling down her face. “No, he’ll hurt you too.”

“Jeager!” Three soldiers quickly came into the room upon hearing the commotion.

Eren stood back and watched Armin try to get back up. “I’m fine. I’ll handle this.”

“Just tell me where Zeke is.” He said.

Armin weakly raised his fists again and that’s when Eren beat him. Again and again.

“Eren, stop!” You yelled. Tears now rushed down your face as you watched Armin get beaten up mercilessly. The blonde dropped to the floor in a heap, blood trailing out of his mouth.

“Armin.” You pushed off Mikasa’s arm and quickly knelt beside Armin on the floor. Turning him over, you brushed the hair out of his eyes and used your sleeve to wipe the blood off.

Your hard stare met Eren’s eyes. “What the hell is wrong with you? How could you do this to them? After everything we’ve been through.”

“Funny… you used to follow every choice I made.” He said with the same dull voice, his eyes searching yours for the reaction he craved. “Unless those feelings of yours never went away.”

You paused, he knew?

“It was cute at first, I’ll admit, but like Mikasa, it seems like you were never your own person. Pathetic. Everything you did was to always appeal to me, wasn’t it?”

No (y/n), don’t let him manipulate you. This is what he wants.

“Every day you stood by me with hope that I would love you the way you loved me. Tell me, how does it feel knowing all that work you did was for nothing?”

You gritted your teeth as tears continued to fall.

“This isn’t about me, not about us! This is about you and we don’t want you to do something that you will regret.” Swallowing the lump in your throat, you slowly rose to your feet and glared at Eren. “Yes, you figured it out, Eren, and you’re a damn fool if you try to deny how you felt too!”

Eren’s breath hitched and his eyes widened in surprise.

“Remember all those times we snuck out after hours and talked about our future? It didn’t matter what crazy scenario we made up each time, we were always together in the end!” You yelled. “I don’t think a man who spent his youth 'hating' me would allow himself to become so vulnerable. You told me everything.”

Mikasa knelt by Armin and cradled him in her arms. You moved closer to Eren, the sudden sound of guns cocking made you tense up as the guards all trained their rifles on you. 

Eren quickly held up his hand at the guards. His eyes never left yours as they lowered their weapons. Honestly, his immediate defense surprised you.

“Is this what freedom is to you?” You continued, gesturing to your two friends still kneeling on the floor. “It looks like now you’re the one who's a slave, and your master is a worthless bastard.”

Eren gritted his teeth and scowled at you. “Let’s go.” He gripped your upper arm tightly, the other guards doing the same to Mikasa and Armin. “Take the brat that killed Sasha, too. We’re going back to the place where it all started... Shiganshina.”

Gabi stumbled against the soldier's grip while Armin and Mikasa went with no struggle. Eren still hadn't moved yet, keeping you in place. You clenched your teeth in pain as Eren tightened his grip every time you twisted your arm to break free.

“Sir?” One of the guards asked from the doorway.

Eren shifted his vision away from you. “Take them. We’ll be down shortly. I have some business to take care of first.”

The guards escorted your friends away from you. Now, you were all alone. With Eren.

Silence rang between you two as his other hand gripped your other shoulder. He turned you to face him, but you kept your gaze down.

“Hmph, you spent years standing by my side, and now you can’t even look me in the eye.” Eren tutted and gripped your chin with his hand, forcing your eyes to meet his. “There we go.”

You tried to break from his grip, but his hands only tightened more and you had to resist struggling when it began to hurt.

“Were you ever going to tell me?” He asked suddenly. The question seemed innocent, but his eyes told a whole other story.

“Tell you-”

“Don’t play dumb with me, (y/n). I’ll tell you right now it’s not the wisest decision.”

“Y-yeah. The day you left.” You muttered with tears in your eyes.

"I see.” His tone turned solemn.

“Eren, I love you.” You started, pausing briefly to take a shuddering breath and try to rid your tears. “W-was any of it… ever real?”

The memories, laughter, adventures... anything? 

He stared at you, taken aback by your words. “You said love not loved... you still love me?”

You sniffled as the tears slipped down your cheeks, trying to avoid his gaze. “Y-yeah, I still do.” You didn’t want to. With all the actions Eren has pulled recently, you didn’t want to. But yet, you still did.

“You shouldn’t.” He commented, thumb swiping over to brush one of your stray tears.

“I don’t want to.”

“But you do.”

Silence washed over you. His eyes were piercing under the grip he still had on your chin.

“Why?” You asked. “Why this way, there wasn’t any other option?”

This time his gaze evaded yours. “No.” He released a heavy sigh and something changed in his eyes. It’s like any small ounce of compassion he held just faded. “It’ll work out in the end. This isn’t over, (y/n). You always come running back to me and I always welcome you.”

Jerk.

A sob left your lips and you managed to rip your face out of his grip. “You know what, Eren?”

Eren’s gaze stiffened when he heard the tone in your voice. “What.”

“I don’t care what you do. Whatever the hell you do, just know I’ll never stop loving you.”

“Don’t you understand?!” His hands grabbed your wrists tightly. “You can’t love me.”

“Eren, ah- you’re hurting me.”

“Don’t you get it? Things aren’t going to end the way you hope.”

“I don’t care-”

“You should!”

Your wrists were still clutched tightly in his grip, but he loosened his hold enough to let you gently cup his face.

“If it’s not in this life, then another one perhaps. I love you, Eren.”

Eren’s face scrunched up in anger, a distraught look crossing his features. “N-no, (y/n). Please, you can’t. The worst has yet to come.”

“Tell me.” You pleaded, your thumb swiping over his cheekbone. “Tell me you don’t love me. I just want to hear you say it.”

Eren stayed silent and dropped his stare. Thoughts ran through his mind.

“Tell me.” You urged.

“I…”

He couldn’t.

“It’s safer for you if I don’t.”

“That didn’t answer my question, Eren.” You scoffed.

“Fine.” His voice was hard. “I love you.”

His hand moved from your wrist to grasp your palm. “But I can’t. You’re right, maybe in another life, we can make this work.” Eren’s eyes met yours. “Just not this one.”

“Wait-”

“Everything I’m doing is to protect you!” He yelled. You blinked at him.

Protecting you? It didn’t make sense. He’s only started a war Eldia wasn’t ready to fight.

He took your hand in his and placed a light kiss on your knuckles. Your eyes softened at the sudden gesture.

A soft metal clinking was heard and before you could even register what happen, your wrist was shackled. The other cuff latching to his own.

“Let’s go.”

“Eren-”

“I told you, (y/n).” Eren looked at you with tears in his eyes. “Not in this life.”

"hm? oh, nothing important." you mumble, running your hands through his soft, freshly washed hair. it's still slightly damp and smells minty. his brows furrow and his hands slightly tighten around your waist. “i don’t believe you. what’s going on?” he asks again. you grin at him and peck his lips. “huh?” he looks confused. one second you looked like you were deep in thought and then you grin stupidly at him and kiss him. “what is it?” he returns your grin. “i was just thinking about you.” his grin turns into a smirk when he finally received your answer. “about me? tell me the details.” his hands wander from your waist down to your ass, squeezing it. you roll your eyes at him. “that is not what i was thinking about.” he pouts at your reply and his hands travel from your ass to your thighs, where he slips them under your shorts and massages them gently. “well? what were you thinking about then?”

you pull away again and baji leans his head back against the couch. he's looking up at you with tired looking eyes, lips slightly plump from the kisses you just shared. you brush the hair that fell onto his face away and gently scratch his scalp. baji closes his eyes at the feeling and lets out a quiet groan. “i love you. ya hear me?” his raspy voice hits your ears and he opens one eye to look at your pretty face again. “i love you too, kei.” you press a lingering kiss on his forehead, then one on his lips again. “love you forever. gonna marry you, promise.” he says and grabs your hand to place a soft kiss on the promise ring he gave you for your last anniversary. baji pulls you close, into a tight hug. the both of you spend the rest of the evening on the couch, sharing more kisses and eventually falling asleep there.

Thank you so much for asking, and I had so much fun while answering and thinking about it, so I might accidentally wrote an outline for a fic...

You know, I really love canon-compliant and canon-divergent scenarios, but I have a very weak spot against the historical AUs or mythology AUs. In general, I really love AUs which take canon and transform into AU, without changing the main topic/character arcs too much, but adapting it into the new scneario. And I really love Medieval AU, Ancient Greece AU, 1900-1920's AU, but now, I want to stop on another AU which was sitting in my head for a while, and with your ask, I gave it more thought and structured all these ideas into something more proper, so here I present you -

Here, I want to make a quick disclaimer that I took as a base the whole period as a whole and in my AU, there's the fictional geography which is based on original AoT, but some events are inspired by real historical events and the whole vibe of the epoch. Plus, I focused on some general points of this plot without too much details and it's written more like the outline, rather than some fic (so sorry if it's not very good...)

Far away from home she never saw, Annie is raised by the man who is in slavery, among others people from the conquered lands - but there, in complete secret, they raise their children as Warriors - someone to give revenge for the King bloodline, who sent them there and who conquered their lands.

They worked from a very young age on the fields, and at night - they train, they are raised to be weapons and with the solo goal - to buy themselves freedom and then, to use for the killing. So when times comes, Bertholdt, Reiner and Annie are sent to Paradis Kingdom.

They know that the King is quite not sane - by age and illness he gained by various sexual connections, and he has three children: the oldest son, Erwin, twins Historia Armin, the youngest son. Erwin is an heir, a talented warrior and promised leader; meanwhile, Armin is much younger and not so strong, but his intelligence, bravery and the desire for knowledge is enormous. However, their father didn't really favor Armin, and always neglects him, sending him to battlefields, which are already meant to be lost. Erwin, on the contrary, recognizes Armin's talent and they are close; he, as an older brother, teaches him a lot and they like spending time together. Historia and Armin are close too, not only as twins but as allies: Historia isn't really loved by their father as she's a daughter and can't heir the throne, and by gossips. she has love affairs with one of her guardians, Ymir, which is also not approved by their father - but Armin always supports his sister and her lover, trying his best to cover Historia's missing for nights.

Annie, Reiner and Bert, when they arrive to Paradis Kingdom, they join the Warriors who didn't belong to any village, gathered only by desire of fight and war, the legendary order of Viking mercenaries. There, they meet Zeke, Pieck, Porco, Marcel, and many other people, who was informed of their arrival, and so starts the years of the battlefields. Endless, endless battlefields, full of blood to prepare themselves for the King killing.

Until one day they learn the news from their spies: Erwin, the heir, should be on the battlefield not so far away from their location, and they decide to capture him to manipulate the King, that will eventually lead to his death, but... Instead of Erwin, they find Armin and his army. Armin at the age of 17 is already an excellent strategist, however, his subordinates mocked him for being too merciful, kind and coming up with strategies that save lives, so commanders didn't obey his orders that led to almost his own capture. Annie, Reiner and Bert and their order used this situation, and they helped Armin to win, but... They caught him as a hostage. Not Erwin, but Armin is still an heir.

Firstly, there was an obvious tension, but Annie couldn't miss that Armin was different from what she imagined him to be, how... Royal should be. He is kind, smart, very attentive, and yet, he is manipulative and he never choose to opt to violence, only as a last resort when he could save someone important to him or when he realizes that there's no other choice. It's strange, Annie thinks, and she doesn't understand him. He is the first person in this cruel world who is so unconditionally kind - and yet, not without venom in him, and she couldn't just wrap up her mind how to understand him. She always thought she was nice at reading people. But with Armin, she realizes that she never was.

After some time, Armin and Annie start to speak with each other, and Annie hates that she starts craving these conversations. She hats that this boy should paint his hand - beautiful hand, maybe, more suitable for some crafter or painter - with blood. So when she hears Armin speaks with Marcel that he wants to train to become stronger and more capable in fight, Annie bursts in anger. At this moment, she was practicing with her daggers, and so she throws one of the daggers to the tree trunk, just a few inches away from Armin's face, cutting a few strands from his locks. She hopes it would scare him. She hops he would just step away and refuses to train to become a Viking. To become a Warrior.

She hopes.

But Armin looks directly at her, with his hazel eyes, so deep, like the autumn foliage in the sunset, and the determination in his gaze chokes her with the tight grip.

"Teach me.".

"Me? To teach you?" Annie snorts, trying her best to stay indifferent. "You're helpless. Don't even try."

"I know I am now," Armin nods, taking a step to her. "But with your help, I can become stronger."

"And? What benefit is it for me?"

"I'll teach you reading and writing. And I can also pay you. For you being my guard. When we come back to the capital, I can make you my guardian."

Annie looks at him, and she couldn't fight against his gaze. It's beneficial for her mission, isn't it? It is. And so-

She agrees.

Their training starts, they stay together, since she's now his guardian and his teacher. Armin struggles at first,, failing and failing miserable, but after every fall, he gets up with no complaints, the same determined fire in his irises, and... In one year, he really becomes stronger.

And they become closer. Annie learns about his twin-sister, how close they are, about Erwin, about their crazy father, about all the intrigues and horrors happening in the royal court. She learns that Armin loves to read, that his dreams - not to conquer lands but to see them, experience every single land with respect and admiration, that he never really wanted to be a King. She learns that he knows how to braid hair exactly thanks to Historia: she did it to him, and he did it for her, and now, he does it to Annie's hair too. She learns so many things about him, and she learns another thing, that braided hair by his hands looks so beautiful on her. So beautiful and she doesn't deserve this beauty.

One day, Armin cuts his hair, and Annie suddenly realizes that he grew up. And so she is, too.

And so grew up something in her heart she didn't know a name.

Reiner, Bert and other Warrior pressure her that she started losing her head and betraying them, but she always fight back., defending herself and always dismissing their accusations.

Until, one day, both she and Armin train on the cliff, the sea shimmers at the horizon with molten gold, and just at the very end, their bodies suddenly pressed so closed, caught between the daggers and their battle stances. Eye to eye, torso to torso, their jagged breathes wash each other with warm waves.

"Don't be so cocky," Annie says, her dagger stops inches away from his neck, . "If you think that you can win easily in the battlefield, someone will kill you faster that you can even imagine."

"I wouldn't be so sure," he whispers, and it sent shivers down her spine.

Confusion furrows her brows, and Armin nods down, somewhere to her abdomen. When she looks down, she sees Armin's dagger pointed right into her gut.

Something coils right in her abdomen - impression, surprise, pride and something else. Something she is afraid to name our loud.

"Not so bad for a dead man," Annie whispers, and instead, with the effortless maneuver of her hands, perfected by years and years of war, she flips him.

Armin falls on his back, right into the long grass, but instead of groaning or insults, he smiles, starting laughing.

"You're honestly amazing," he says and looks at her with so much joy and tenderness, and it just makes her blush intensely.

That day she realizes that she can't run away any more from her true feelings. She realizes that she really loves him. And it terrifies, and excites her at the same time.

Weeks later, their hands touch for the first time longer than a sudden brush, and decided to stay for a few minutes longer interwined. Months later, their first kiss happens. A few more - their first intimacy.

But time goes on, they're closer to the capital. And once they arrive in the capital, the King is not really happy to see Armin having his own subordinates. He feels that he's not safe anymore - and he plans to kill Armin after the celebration of his return.

Warriors plan to kill the King, some high-ranked vassals and King's advisors plan to kill Erwin because they see that Armin his more powerful army with him now, and King also has his own plans - none of the sides know what the other plan, so during the celebration, the total mess happens. Both the King and Erwin are killed: King when everything happens, he orders to kill Armin right away, and Annie protects him by killing the King; and Erwin - is killed by Zeke.

Armin becomes a King.

But since Annie killed the former King, she should be now executed, and it's Armin who should ordering since she killed the King in front of his vassals and subordinates. If he wouldn't do it - they wouldn't recognize him. She understands that she failed. She put her feelings first, and now, when she sees Armin in blood and with bloody crown, his eyes so terrified and so... Broken, she sees his heart broken in his gaze when she realizes that she was lying all this time, she just realized that she failed something that was more important than her mission.

She succeeded in her mission.

But she failed him.

"Since when... You... Started to look at me with these eyes, Armin?"

She mumbles, as the hands of soldiers dragged her away. Armin is devastated, but to save her life, he orders to sell her to slavery - he couldn't leave her with him, and he couldn't execute her either. He asks only for one condition - to find a farm where she can work with not so grave conditions.

Then, 4 years pass.

Armin was immediately dragged into wars and he won them, by his excellent mind and strategies. But all this time he was utterly depressed and totally alone, the weight of the crown and responsibility killing him bit by bit, and all this time he was searching for Annie - when he asked the farm of the slaves where he ordered to sell her, his vassals lied to him and told him that she died, not wanting to see her near the new King. Armin was devastated, but searched for her for 4 years, not leaving this hope that she was alive.

Until one day, they met again, on the random market place, when Armin was with his guardian Connie, eating a pie.

And so she was. Alive. And so beautiful, even with the stuffed cheeks and startled gaze, but for him, she was the most beautiful and strong woman he ever met.

And so... The new story begins. But, this is completely another story :D

lil’ bro gets soooo mad. jean was chit chatting to you about something you guys had in common and there was too much laughing, giggling and jean was FAR too close. like he doesn’t need to be making you laugh first of all, but then being all up in your business?!? nahhh, eren was NOT having it.

“‘that’s it. i’m going up to him, how DARE HE—” then he feels a tug on his shirt and gets yanked back right into his seat.

“you need to learn how to chill out, eren.” reiner says, lecturing him “i know it looks bad, but it’s gonna be embarrassing for you and y/n if you go up there and cause an argument.”

god, he’s right. eren knew he was. but, he was SO angry, he needed to let out his anger somehow! the only option was to go to the dorm and just start punching shit.

MIKASA ACKERMAN -

silence suddenly took over in mikasa and sasha’s conversation. sasha slowly turned to her left to see what had mikasa in such shock and there you were with none other than ymir. ymir had her arm right above you, looking down on you. what the fuck did she think she was doing?! mikasa was furious and you could tell she was just by her energy. it was pure silence but those looks could kill.

sasha decided it was probably best for her to step back a bit.. she was also terrified that mikasa would kill her with one glance although she wasn’t doing anything bad..

ARMIN ARLERT -

as armin was strolling around town, he sees you! he starts walking over, shouting your name through the busy crowds of the town centre when he sees you and bertholdt.. laughing, bumping shoulders, looking through what seemed to be like some sort of gift shop. armins never really the jealous type, he doesn’t like to get worked up over things like that but something about this made his stomach turn.

he decided to head back to the dorms.

eventually, when you and bertholdt came back from your little shopping trip - you obviously, go to go see armin! you knock on his door and gently start pushing it open,

“hey babe~ whatcha doing?”

“oh nothing, just uh, sharpening my blades ready for tomorrow” he tried to put on a smile because he really doesn’t want to start anything. he just wants to act like nothings happened.

“oh.. well then. i- erm, i got you something today..”

“w-what?” he swung his head around to face you

“yeah! i know you’ve been wanting those maps of the outside world but i didn’t know where to find them but bertholdt did, so he took me to the shops!”

armins jaw dropped. first of all, maps of the outside world?!? that’s incredible! but also.. that whole situation that made him so jealous, was about buying something for him? god. he feels SO silly.

SASHA BRAUS -

honestly, this queen isn’t the jealous type. i feel like she doesn’t care over little things like touching, laughing, spending time with others - it’s the BIG things like if someone’s trying to flirt with you. but even then, she doesn’t feel jealous. she loves you and you love her and that’s enough for her.

there was a celebratory party with the military after you guys finally caught the female titan. this include the whole military obviously the survey corps but even garrisons and military police.

a girl from the garrisons, whom you’ve never met before, makes her way over to you and strikes up a conversation. you think nothing of it until she starts laughing, shoving you away by your shoulder and then.. she started flirting. as you were about to calm the situation down before she got any ideas, your girlfriend walks over.

“hey babe” sasha exclaims

“oh, sasha!” you say in shock, you really hope she isn’t upset.

“hey i’m sasha, i don’t think we’ve met before!” she puts her hand out to the girl, “by the way, this is my s/o. i don’t mind you guys talking but boundaries! thanks.” she giggles slightly.

“oh god— this is so embarrassing. i’m so sorry, i have to go.” the girl says before she runs off.

“sasha, i’m so sorry. i was just about to tell her” you quickly explain yourself

“it’s fine! honestly, i know that you love me and i love you. i trust you” she says, giving you a tender smile.

CONNIE SPRINGER -

he tries to act soo nonchalant. but omg he’s so jealous because, he sees armin as this insanely intelligent, witty, incredible leader and you, also being crazy smart, tend to help armin out with plans for the survey corps.

“i already sent some soldiers to do some scouting around that area, they’ll be back in a couple of hours”

“god armin!”

“what..”

“it’s like you read my mind! i was literally gonna ask to go do that.” you giggle slightly at the coincidence. armin lets out a sigh of relief and says ‘y/n!! don’t scare me like that, i thought i did something wrong!” you both giggle at armins fright but as you two were laughing away, little did you know, a mr. connie springer was watching from the crack in the door.

connie quickly walked off after he realised he was literally eavesdropping on you and armin. ‘why am i feeling so jealous? god, get a grip connie.’ he thought to himself and he stomps down the corridor, getting far away from you two in that room.

eventually, you find connie chilling outside, “connie!!” you run towards him in excitement. “i’m so sorry, i’ve been stuck in that room planning with armin all day. but i missed you so much” you say before wrapping your arms around him.

“ugh, babe. it’s fine, seriously!” he says hugging you back, slightly too tight.. “connie. cant. breathe.” he quickly lets you go, “shit, sorry.”

you raise an eyebrow and ask “are you sure you’re okay..?” “what?! what a preposterous accusation!” he says defensively “okay now i know somethings wrong. since when do you say ‘preposterous’?”

he sighs in defeat, he cant lie any longer “okay fine. i just got a bit.. jealous.. when you were with armin today, okay? armins super smart and so are you, so maybe you two should just marry each other and have super smart babies” he says, as he slides down a post, hitting the ground with a thud.

“connie…” you slide down to sit next to him, “connie, i know you think me and armin are super smart but, i think YOU’RE super smart. you’re so emotionally and socially intelligent. i love that about you and not even just that, i love everything about you! and if i’m gonna get married and have super smart babies with anyone, it’s gonna be you.” you say as you give me a sweet, genuine smile.

thank god you know him so well or else he would’ve never had said anything.

JEAN KIRSTEIN -

is that what jean think he just saw? y/n, HIS partner with eren jaeger?? oh wow. greatttt, no it’s fine.

IT IS NOT FINE. why were you talking with him and why did you both seem so happy? this jealous anger that was building up inside of jean quickly switched so sadness. this man was so heartbroken.

his ego just felt it got crushed by a 100 buses. his first instinct was to fight eren as usual but, it had been a while since their last fight honestly and if anything.. jean looked up to eren. sort of. he really appreciated his boldness, his strength and his willingness to keep going no matter what. although, he was still a suicidal maniac.

jean already felt like second place to eren in most things but now his partner? really?! jean couldn’t take it anymore so he decided to go on a walk in trost, maybe even pop by his house and have his mum make him an omelette.

after you were done talking to eren, you go to find jean but.. he’s no where to be seen? and after EXTENSIVE searching for the whole place - you knew where he had gone. you get to trost as fasttt as possible and end up at his house, talking to his mother. she lets you inside, of course, offers you tea and omelette, which you politely decline and head straight for jeans childhood room.

you slowly open the door, the old creaking letting jean know of your presence before you even said a word. “hi babe..” you say slightly awkwardly, “so, how come you ended up here?” you ask and you slowly make your way towards the bed. jean stares at you as he chews his omelette, which he eventually swallows and continues to stare at you. “why were you with eren?” he eventually asks after some silence “oh jean! really? that’s what this is about?” you ask, slightly annoyed.

“yes it is!” he exclaimed and jumped off his bed in anger “do you know how—” he begins to choke up “how much i hate yet respect eren? he’s so much better than me in so many aspects and he has some god awful traits but also some incredible ones that people could only DREAM of having.” tears begin to stream down his face and before he says another word, you jump up and wrap your arms around him.

you guys stand there momentarily. while still hugging, you say to him “i’m sorry, jean. i didn’t know you felt like that. i just- i hope you know how much i admire you more than anyone else. it’s not just because we’re together, it’s because you’re an amazing person.“ you slowly pull away from him “you may look up and respect eren, but i look up to YOU.” you wipe his tears gently “and so do so many other people.” you smile tenderly at him.

he’s such a lucky guy to have someone like you.

REINER BRAUN -

big bro does not get jealous. sorry but, this man is too perfect. he doesn’t get jealous because why would he? he knows you love him and that’s more than enough for him. he genuinely trusts you with every fibre of his being however, he doesn’t trust other people.

it’s less of a jealously thing and more of a protective one. he doesn’t get jealous if someone’s flirting with you, he gets protective over you. like get the fuck away from my s/o, bro!!

hot take: annie gets so jealous and so insecure when someone she believes you could like gets too close with you.

the ONLY REASON she would ever get so jealous or insecure is because you guys are in a relationship. this cold demeanour that she keeps up with around everyone else is not a thing when she’s around you, she just feels so herself and so authentic around you and the thought of that getting taken away scares the ever living shit out of her.

so, when she sees you chatting it up with sasha, she shits herself. now usually, sasha wouldn’t faze her but sashas bright, outgoing personality seems like something that you would like and that’s terrifying.

however, annie doesn’t say a WORD about how jealous she’s feeling. she’s already scared enough but she’s more scared to piss you off by saying something. but, that’s your mfing girlfriend!! you know when there’s something wrong with her, so obviously you asked,

“annie, are you okay? you’ve been really off lately.”

BERTOLT HOOVER -

connie springer. most people wouldn’t be jealous of a 5’2 teenage boy but this 6’3 teenage boy is. connie is just so outgoing, bright and funny and bertolt is scared that you may just find him better than him.

so when he sees you two acting really close, he starts freaking THE FUCK OUT. he’s soooo flipping scared, he’s genuinely scared to face you again.

when you you over to him after being with connie, he just freezes and you’re so confused, “bertolt, what’s up with you?” you ask “o-oh, um, it’s nothing. i just couldn’t sleep last night.” he says, sounding very unconvincing. for the next week, he does EVERYTHING for you, just hoping that that’ll be enough to override connie’s impeccable humour.

“hey y/n, you can have the rest of my food! i don’t want it.” he says as he holds out his plate to you.

“bert.. why do you keep giving me your food? and making my bed? and washing my clothes? and just doing everything..?”

“i- umm. well—” he freezes.

you pat the seat next to you “come here, what’s wrong?”

he sighs “well.. you’ve been hanging out with connie a lot and i don’t know, he’s just a great guy..”

“bert..” you say sorrowfully, “connie may be a good guy, but you’re the greatest guy i know! there’s no need to ignore me or try to impress me. i love you just the way you are.”

bertolt puts his head in his hands “god, you’re right. i was being silly wasnt i?” he said sheepishly

you giggle at his embarrassment “yes, very silly.”

LEVI ACKERMAN -

brother, this man has been through enough shit. honestly, he doesn’t get jealous - the worst that could happen to you is you dying. which happens to everyone he loves. if for someone reason you were to cheat or break up with him and move on to someone else, at least he knows you’re happy and loved.

“hey levi, i’m going to help erwin with something, will you be okay on your own?” you ask

“yes, i’ll be fine, y/n.”

“i’m sorry if i’ve been with erwin more often lately, it’s just that-”

he cuts you off, “y/n, it’s fine. i seriously don’t mind you spending time with him for whatever reason.”

you look at him sweetly “okay.. sorry. i’m gonna go now, i love you!”

ERWIN SMITH -

nile dok. always going around trying to take erwin’s partners man😭.

you’ve been in wall sina with the military police a lot lately, dealing with all the shit they’ve got going on and therefore, you’ve come in contact with their former commander, nile dok, A LOT.

although erwin had chosen the secrets of the titans over marie, doesn’t mean he wasn’t lightly suspicious and jealous when you kept mentioning nile. however, this is erwin smith, he’s a grown and mature man and what do grown and mature men do? talk about their problems!!

“y/n?”

“yes..?”

he chuckles slightly before speaking “gosh, this is going to sound so silly now i’m thinking about it. but, is anything happening between you and nile?”

you burst out laughing “what?! me and nile? erwin, come on now!”

he rubs his forehead “i knew it was silly.. i was just feeling a bit jealous, that’s all.”

you sympathise with him very quickly “aww erwin” you go into hug him “i’m sorry, i know i’ve been there a lot but i promise, there’s nothing happen, just pure innocent work.” you say as you rub his back.

you both pull away “i do know that, i think i just wanted some reassurance that’s all.” he says.

HANGE ZÖE -

what is y/n doing.. talking to mr. levi ackerman? aha.

now.. hange wouldn’t think much of this, but they could see what people would like and appreciate levi, especially after seeing how petra was with him - for someone reason, they can’t shake this feeling of jealously! what does one do when they’re jealous? get angry? cry? talk to their partner?

nope. hange is going to distract themselves until they simply forget. they begin to get super indulged in their work like i’m talking, you’ll leave the lab and they’ll say they’ll be another 5 minutes then you go back in the morning and they’re STILL there. researching titans over and over, taking any mission they possibly can, yapping about random stuff over and over, and eventually, you reach a breaking point.

“and then i said YOU CANT DO THA—”

“OKAY HANGE. hange..” you yelled

hange looked shocked at the sudden outburst and quickly shut their mouth.

“hange, what on earth is going on here?! why’ve you been indulging yourself in your work more than usual? you’re spending hours and hours on work and random stuff and i feel like i haven’t been able to get a word into our conversations lately!”

hange stops and reflects, oh my god. has it really been that bad? hange just wanted to do a little more work than usual, to distract themselves but clearly it’s been much more.

“i-i-” hange is speechless for once. “i-i’m sorry. i’m sorry y/n, oh my god!! what have i been doooiiinnngg..?” they slam their head on the table in front of them

“i don’t know, what have you been doing? i wanna know!” you ask, feeling slightly frustrated.

“god, y/n!! i’ve been so stupid, i was JEALOUS over you and LEVI, OUT OF PEOPLE?!” it’s like it all hit them at once, how crazy and silly they’ve been.

“i am soooo sorryyyy, snuchems” they say, pouting. “please, tell me a really long story so i’ll finally shut up for a few hours, i’m begging you. im sick of hearing myself at this rate!” they say with their hands clasped together, pleading with you.

“first of all, forgiven. second of all, LEVI ACKERMAN REALLY? third of all..” you look mischievous.

“okay so it started when i was 13 right and i was still living—”

he has a dog I’m not even gonna lie, he comes across as a dog person, he doesn’t care what breed but prefers big dogs specifically German shepherds he bought a dog when y’all moved in together and he’s actually really close with the dog, you named the dog bobo you chose the name cuz you thought it would be cute, the dog is very attached to eren

armin-

a cat, an orange tabby cat. Armin comes across as a more calm less crazy person meaning he would want a cat to chill and read with. He named the cat tangerine cuz it’s orange. You bought him the cat for Christmas one year since you didn’t know what to get him. It’s the wholesome moments, when you see him on the couch after work holding the cat, you fall in love all over again with your gentle small ray of sunshine

Jean-

you may think that he has a horse but your very wrong, he has an annoying green parrot that calls you mom, you can simply walk by the change and you’ll hear “food mom?” And you eventually get used to it and get another parrot for them to play together and stop bugging you

connie-

oh you poor unfortunate soul, him and that tortoise. Jk he has a dog still, you poor unfortunate soul, him and that dog do everything together, he has a border collie that joins you two in everything, taking a shower, the dog is at the door, using the bathroom?, the dog is staring into your soul, trying to leave? The dog is following you out the door. The dogs same is bacon cuz the dog loves bacon

Reiner-

Bull dog off the bat, he has a big dog strong like him, they wrestle on the living room floor all the time, go on walks, play fetch, chase little kids- wait- what?! a lazy pug named Mr. There’s no question just a fat lazy pug that sheds buckets of fur.

Levi-

you begged him to get an animal and he kept saying no until he came home to you having bought one without his permission, he glared and looked pissed until that fat fluffy black cat looked him in the eyes with her emerald ones. He caved in. The cat was named jasmine and he allowed you to keep it because cats are very hygienic and easy to take care of. He hates changing the litter box but will do it for Jasmine. And when he does actually sleep it’s curled up with you and jasmine and absolutely precious, jasmine sits on his lap when he’s doing work and he shares his food with her all of the time strangely enough she loves lettuce, you’ll be in the kitchen making salad and she’ll prance over and sit there meowing for lettuce

In Zeke's mind, Tom Ksaver is still his real father. Even if he had to eat him in the long run

Zeke is an odd man and he doesn't really emote much but he takes a hit off his cigarette, puts it out and turns to you. Zeke offers you a sympathetic nod, an apology, and pulls you close

Zeke, unlike Reiner, would absolutely use his position as the Warchief against the people who hurt you most

Zeke would lull you to sleep, letting you sleep in his bed and feel all the perks he gets as a Warchief that can actually speak during meetings with Marleyans 

His sweet nothings persistent until you've drifted away and then he steps out, probably finds Yelena while he leans beside him with a cigarette

The hushed voices of the two siblings filled the silence of the now empty and dark hallway and kitchen, their tiny steps light as they rushed towards the culminating point of their late night adventure. It was way past their bedtime, that much they knew. The moon bright in the dark pit that was the night sky- they could see its light pouring over their kitchen table as they approached cautiously.

''Are we sure he even made caramels today?'' Ymir's voice would yet again break the silence, earning a gentle scoff from their brother.

''You doubt me? Come on Ymir, I know our father better than he knows himself!'' Young Bertholdt exclaimed silently yet proudly, picking up the pace at which he moved. That however caused him to step on that one damned floorboard that always squeaked like someone was killing it- and the boy grew pale. ''Fuck-'' Ymir whispered, immediately lifting a hand to dismiss the same sentence they knew their brother would spit out at them. ''Yeah yeah, father doesn't like swearing, but how can I not when you put us in such danger?!''

''I'm sorryyyy!'' The poor boy whined, watching as his sibling grabbed a hold of his hand and simply dragged him along. He would do his very best not to make any unnecessary noise from now on.

Determination filled both of their tiny bodies as they finally entered the kitchen, spotting what seemed to be a white porcelain bowl resting atop of the dinner table. Hearts pounding, their tiny bare feet approached slowly, as if whatever resided on that table was some sort of holy grail- to them it was. ''Oh my goodness-'' Ymir whispered, their warm eyes staring at the full bowl of caramels in awe. They could so clearly smell them now, and their heart craved the sweetness of their father's sweets.

''Oh my goodness indeed- this time they're salted!'' Bertholdt hummed excitedly as he studied the candy before them. Noticing some movement outside the window that they faced, the boy leaned in closer, holding onto the table for support. And good thing that he did, for he nearly had had a heart attack upon noticing two big eyes staring inside.

''M-Mama Rosa you'll be the death of me one day!!'' The boy nearly shouted, catching himself in it on time not to. Watching as the big creature outside seemed to move closer, the boy would sigh, shaking his head. '' Don't make a sound, we beg you.''

Ah, Mama Rosa. A ginger cow their father claimed to have had since his youth, yet many years later would Bertholdt and Ymir realize that was highly improbable. Or perhaps Rosa was simply...different. Eh, who knew. She was just as much part of their family as they themselves were.

Mama Rosa seemed to ponder, her knowing eyes staring at the two children as she thought...and when she'd reached a conclusion, the children too understood.

''I mean...it IS made from her milk. Why not?'' Ymir shrugged as they moved over to open the window. And before either of them got to taste that day's heavenly sweet, they'd each chuck a piece of caramel into the cow's open mouth.

''This has to stay between us, okay?'' Bertholdt whispered, lifting his free hand to place a finger against his own lips. Ymir had done the same, and the two shared a silent moment...simply smiling.

Sacrifice received, Mama Rosa had been appeased, and so she turned around and walked away, her tail wagging slightly.

Gentle laughter filled the room dimly lit by the candle Bertholdt carried, and the two children would soon eat their first piece of caramel for the night, staring at each other in silence, marveling at the flavor. Their father must be magical or something!

Their father was nothing but driven by the love for his sweet children. The sickly man now standing in the shadows, watching the two as they feasted on the sweet treats he had purposefully left out for them. They knew him, but he knew them better.

Making his way back towards his room, Mr. Hoover would pause by a window, staring out.

PORCO:

I feel like he’s pretty independent when it comes to gaming ngl so when he finds out you are a gamer he just kind of like “oh word? Cool”

Since he plays a lot of games like FIFA and GTA, he usually plays those while you do your thing

Idk why but I also feel like he would be the type of guy to have a spotless apartment? Takes pride in his cleanliness so he’s usually cleaning the apartment while you game

Which is okay with him! He likes hearing you talk to your friends

To him, gaming is kind of his thing to do when he wants to be alone? Even when he’s playing with other people it’s kind of like his private time

So when you’re playing with your friends he lets you have space!

He and Jean are probably the two gamers who would want to spend more time with you outside of the apartment doing things anyway!

But if you want to play with him he’s totally down!

He’s a pretty casual gamer but you can still expect him to get heated, especially if he thinks someone is targeting you or cheating

“No, Porco it’s okay! I made a bad play that’s all” “no (y/n) there’s no way he could have hit you from there, something’s going on”

He will make dinner while you’re gaming and surprise you with it after your match! Even though you can smell it from your desk lmao

“C‘mon, dummy, it’s getting cold,” he’ll call out and gestures to the chair he’s holding out for you

He scoots you in once you’ve sat and he asks you about how your matches are going

If you lost he’ll slide your dessert away from you and then say “sorry, winners only” 😐😐

He’s still not the most active when it comes to their DOTA or League games, but he invites you in to play with his friends so it’s okay!

Eventually he starts to insists on you being in their discord call while they’re playing just so that he can talk to you while you’re playing your own solo game or something!

Don’t get me wrong he still likes his private gaming time and thinks you deserve your own gaming time! But he quickly warms up to the idea of you being together and sharing that time together

REINER:

Okay I love Reiner to pieces yeah? But this man does not understand video games before he meets you

He just doesn’t understand the point??

“Why not just go outside and do something, love?”

He’ll comfort you if you get emotional playing a game like the Last of Us, but then he’ll ruin it by saying “I mean, they’re all dead when you think about it, yeah? They've never actually been alive! They’re not real, sweetie”

But he’s trying to comfort you I promise

I think if there was a game you could get him to play it would be a Dark Souls/Elden Ring type game! I think the dramatic music and fight scenes would pique his interest as he walks past your desk

After watching you fight Malenia or something he says he’ll give it a try

And then he loses to the Tree Sentinel and you have to comfort him. “Babe, that’s kind of the point, you have to go and level up first!” He thought he could impress you oh lord

Otherwise he’d love to watch you play Stardew Valley! Loves the characters and thinks that the heart events are super special

You might be able to convince him to start his own game of Stardew Valley, but he’s busy a lot and feels guilty about ‘abandoning them’, so he prefers to watch you play!

Will also cook you dinner and make sure your water is full while you play! He likes to watch you play and loves seeing you all happy when you’re winning

Sometimes he will try and hug you while you’re playing because he loves seeing you do something you love, but then you have to remind him that you’re in the middle of a game!

“So how was your game!” “It was good! Eren always plays aggro so he took most of the attention away from me!” “There’s a character named Eren in your game? Huh,” it takes him a second to understand that you’re playing with REAL PEOPLE

LEVI:

Just like Reiner (honestly all of these men who don’t understand video games) he doesn’t see the point? Like why not go outside and do something?

Kind of rolls his eyes at the games you play despite him not knowing about them

But he secretly takes pride in the fact that you’re sometimes the one taking control and bossing the others around

He’ll hear you tell Eren to shut up so you can focus and he’ll sneak behind you and peer over your head, maybe smooth out your hair a bit to let you know he’s there

You can talk to him about your games and he’ll listen but he’ll definitely not understand any of it

He’ll respond with a lot of “Ah”s and “Oh, I see” and “..is that good or bad?”

Silently brings you tea when you’re playing late and will usually stay up reading on the couch while you do! He’s a classy guy, likes to go to bed with you

Sometimes he’ll fall asleep on the couch so you have to wake him up :(

He just kind of shuffles over and wordlessly invites you to sleep with him there, cradled in his arms on the couch

I don’t think there’s any way you could get him to play a video game though, sorry

If you get upset over a loss he doesn’t really know how to comfort you, but he’ll kind of sneak over and mutter something like “that kid’s a bastard anyway” and kiss your head

ZEKE:

Will straight up tell you to go outside and touch grass if he thinks you’ve been inside too long

He’ll pick you up from your desk and try and carry him out to go on a walk with him or something after a match lmao!

Will ask you what is so exciting about your games and why you’d rather do that than do something with him :( poor Zeke

But he just says those kinds of things to get a rise from you lmaoo! He’s glad you have some hobby because it lets him also have private time, like Porco I think Zeke would like some space to do his own thing every now and then

Or maybe he’s just busy and glad you can keep yourself busy? I headcanon him to be going into a medical field like his dad! So Dr. Jaeger knows that you won’t be too lonely while he’s at work

You can get him to play surgeon simulator when he’s in a good mood. He thinks it’ll be easy. Ooh boy

He doesn’t become addicted or anything but when he fails, he insists that he can do it and he’s trying again. And again. And again.

Genuinely likes seeing you have a hobby and is impressed with your ability to balance your responsibilities and have time to unwind with a game

Likes to see you kill Eren in whatever game you’re playing, even minecraft hahah

Judges you for playing animal crossing though? Sorry he thinks it’s a kids game?

You tell him he’d be a grumpy villager and he ruffles your hair before walking away with a huff hahah
