okay but why is this season of the boys such a mess. like. episodes 1 - 5 were actually pretty good (especially 4 and 5, specifically the homelander + hughie and his dad plotlines respectively in those were SO good), then ep 6 was a clusterfuck outside of butcher's stuff, and i kinda thought we were on track for something pretty okay when annie took hughie's assault seriously at the end of the episode only for it to just be brushed off this episode AND hughie gets SA'd AGAIN?????? HELLO?????

this is nothing fancy but I just want to get this out, so you see the boys ? Imagine int in actor au (just like aot actor au) where the characters are obviously acting. I know this probably doesn’t make sense with the lack of specific scenes but my Brian chose not to brain 😭😔 this whole thing began because I realised that all what homelander is someone who longs and aches for someone to love him , and Ben wanting to not be like his father but then he abandoned homelander, and suddenly a picture of these hugging each and just be happy even if it’s in some other universe , even when they aren’t a son and a father But they are the closest they could ever dream to be if they were family.
