Recently I’ve been getting a ton of emails of people asking me why A Little Rain Oracle doesn’t come with a guidebook or that they’ve “lost” their guidebook ( without proof of purchase)

Initially when these “lost guidebook “ email started to come in I was silly enough to not ask for proof of purchase and gave away my own copies of the guidebook only charging the cost of shipping. However as these emails started to accumulate, I realized something was wrong and realized that pirated copies of A Little Rain Oracle was being sold online with no guidebook, hence the emails.

If you see any decks on @Wish @temu @aliexpress it’s 100% fake. Even shops like @etsy @ebay @amazon are not free from counterfeit products either as I have often seen counterfeits of Oriens Animal Tarot or A Little Rain Oracle sold there.

Despite my best efforts, these pirated decks always reappear on market a few weeks/months after I report them. They know full well that small indie creators aren’t able to constantly report them as running a solo business already takes up most of their time.

If you’ve ever unknowingly purchased a pirated deck of mine or another creator, please do not feel too guilty over something you were tricked into. Instead please help to share this post or just help to spread awareness about the rampant piracy issues when you can.

As a small artist it’s really disheartening to see all these emails asking for the guidebook all while knowing that less than 3 people purchased the deck in the last few months. its been a while, here’s a little update on my tarot project 🧌 i’m kind of starting over, i made some design changes to most of the cards i had done before and i’ve started re-carving them at a slightly bigger size. making a deck this way is a huge labor of love that i’ve wanted to do for years, and part of the reason it took me a while to even start was the fact that my drawing style / design skills / tastes are ever changing, but i feel a lot more solid in my design choices now than i did before. once i have these re-dos done yall can expect to see me yap about the deck a lot more often

Anakin Skywalker

He has done horrible things, but he also gained redemption. People like to pick one of those to ignore. He tormented the galaxy for 19 years, he had a hand in the massacre of his own people. He deserves to be held accountable for his actions, and not have the fandom pretend he is the specialist little angel who’s crimes were everyone else’s fault but not his. On the other side, before he fell, he did a lot of good things, and his fall was orchestrated by an extremely smart individual who had been grooming him since he was nine. The entire point of the original trilogy was his redemption. How he felt genuine remorse for his actions and tried to do better (and he died for his efforts). His redemption is a key part of his story that people love to ignore because he did bad things.

A segment of the fandom believes he did nothing wrong whatsoever and his every action has been justified or can be excused as not being truly him doing them. Another segment believes he's a completely irredeemable monster who should burn in the fiery depths of hell. Me, I'm waiting for the moment when he has a redemption arc and stops using the Magic That Makes Him Not Feel Emotions and allows himself to feel regret for what he's done.

i absolutely do not have the time to do it but i’d love one day to redo the Sonic themed tarot deck i made. I had great concepts but my art has improved quite a bit since i made it

alternatively it would also be a great zine/collaboration idea; 78 or so artists are assigned a card each and draw their own Sonic version of it

What are your thoughts on the canon? ‘Cause it’s kinda wild as it stands. So far, the only consistent thread of lore I could find are the CM graphic novels, the AoR comics, the AoR show, and the og film/novelization + World Of book. Which, I’d say, is a bit of a shame. JM Lee’s books were quite well written and have expanded upon the mythos in many ways — so it’s sad seeing figures like skekSa, urSan, skekLi, and urLii not get featured in the Bestiary despite urSen and urMa getting sections.

I've concluded some time back because the official website states that all of those things are canonical that they exist on separate timelines. The franchise may or may not allude to this with Aughra, who is able to see multiple timelines, saying things like "I've seen many endings laid before us" and similar lines.

I think by design JMC is very loose with its storytelling, allowing new writers to come in and craft a story. There are pros to this, but of course this means continuity suffers. Even the pieces of media you listed contradict each other.

Kay, so let's pretend that Danny's a part of the justice league, and he wants to mess with them.

Now they don't know a lot about the ghost zone, so they kinda have to take his words as the truth (since he is a resident of the place) which means he can say the most insane shit and they believe it.

Someone says "when pigs fly!" Danny informs them that the ghost zone has flying pigs and there's also flying pineapples.

And then he invents The Game.

He grabs normal playing cards, pokemon cards, yi-gi-oh cards, Bakugan cards, Uno cards, and then he mixes them all together and calls it an official Game of the zone.

He makes up rules and everything.

And then John Constantine comes along, and he wants in on the chaos, so he adds tarot cards.

And when anybody asks him if something about the zone is true (since he is the only person other than Danny who knows so much about it) he says yes.

Somewhere along the way, The Game becomes an actual official ghost zone game.

And all the other things Danny's said exists in the zone now actually exist in the zone because people believe that they do.

He asks Clockwork about it, and he just says that "the power of belief is a powerful thing."
