Our Bard, Murphy, has recently decided to start a cult in Barovia. He’s convinced a guard to go on a date with him in order to let the party into the city of Vallaki.
At the date, over a single lit candle and a dying flower:
Guard (npc): You have beautiful eyes, sweet traveler, we don’t get many outsiders here- where are you from?
Bard: Yes, Yes, but now that I have your full and undivided attention…
[The Bard pulls out a homemade pamphlet]
Bard: Have you heard of our lord and savior Murphy?
Lya made me love boobs, also insecure about my already kinda big boobs but they aren't as big as hers, I want big boobs and be a whore and wear that dress she wears.
So what I understand is: You wish your boobs were even bigger than they already are, as big as Lya's, so you can be a full-fledged whore and wear that dress she wears?
I mean, I'm flattered, but... uh... well yes bigger boobs sure are nice but don't you fear your back would hurt more? O(-( Like, I don't have boobs so I can't know for sure, but I heard huge boobs hurt your back...
i'm so endeared by the idea that they exist in the same world and that they're twins who care deeply for each other HBJERBFJHERF.
dol pc1 and 2 are just the same pc, just different genders HJERFBJHERF but their storylines/purpose as pcs are so different i got curious and thought,,, you know it'd be fun to have twins au!
so far what i have is: inseparable and protective twin siblings who have been with each other for years. when they became of age, and bailey started charging them, eros knew it was too dangerous for his sister to work in this town. although he was as sheltered as eri, he was friends with a lot of the older orphans, who wouldn't exactly hide what goes on in the town. since then, he's offered to go work most days of the week to earn both of their keep while eri attends school on his behalf. he'll only attend school every fridays to just pass the exams so he could keep his grades up and graduate. eros is apart of the Temple and is an initiate. eri isn't, she's just a normal schoolkid and although she is a lot more sheltered, she wasn't naive. she could only imagine the kind of danger eros put himself through just to keep them from getting sold by bailey. despite her begging, eros refuses to let her get a job, and insists she focuses on school so she could also teach him for friday exams.
though that does all change when robin can't keep up with his debt payments, and without eros knowing, eri went to look for work as well (and gets up to all sorts of shenanigans with guys) BHERBFBHRF
*the party is attempting to put on a tragic play; it’s not going well*
DM, halfway through, OOC: Oh. Apparently there were pre-written lines for this in the back of the book I was supposed to photocopy and hand out. But to be totally honest, I didn’t prep that far ahead because I thought you guys would take way longer than necessary to get through a normal unlocked door again. My bad.
Don't Starve is the only game I know that somehow senses my HUBRIS.
I was 2 MINUTES AWAY FROM THE FINAL PORTAL IN THE FINAL LEVEL OF ADVENTURE MODE WITHOUT CHEATING OR ANYTHING. I had spent DAYS working to win the game, 2 MINUTES away from the end! I had Chester! I had a billion pierogies! I had two activated touchstones! I had it all, baby!!!!
I even bragged to my wife that the game was almost easy now!
Big mistake. The Hubris Sensing Technology (TM) of the World's Most Unforgiving Game sensed my complacency and the next thing I knew I was barraged by more Clockwork Bishops than I have ever seen in a single place in my hundreds and hundreds of hours playing this evil evil game!!!
I got through more killer bees than I'd ever seen, and a huge dense forest of 1,000 spiders! All that I could handle!!
But I have NO IDEA what I was supposed to do about a bottleneck that involved 60 ranged attacks hitting me within 5 seconds and stun-locking me to death. I have never been so Humbled by a game, and I've been playing this game for so long!
I have made this art piece to commemorate the occasion.
DISCLAIMER/CREDIT:
To make this, I cut out sprites from the game and from other official art by Klei Games, and then I added all the lighting effects and arranged it all together.
The only other thing I actually drew for this is Wigfrid's hand holding the torch.
Normally, I illustrate every element of a piece I do; but for this, I just wanted to quickly communicate the High-Pitched Silly Screaming Horror of running into this monstrosity in the "all-darkness" level of Adventure Mode!!
EDIT: Someone confirmed for me after making this post that the *Impossible Bishop Gauntlet of Doom* was, in fact, a glitch. -- OR IS THAT JUST WHAT THE BISHOPS WANT ME TO THINK????
