My Commentary: This A.M.V. showcases mostly Koushiro's Adoptee storyline, while also including brief scenes from 2020 eps that focused on Koushiro's inclusion or highlights. (There are a few tiny semi-spoilery segments from final battle of Digimon 2020 Episodes 66~67, but mainly show Koushiro.) There are no Tri, Kizuna, or The Beginning spoilers here. However, a finalized version may add in other moments later!

Extended Commentary: An A.M.V. I made in just under 2 hours, or, about an hour and 50 minutes total of editing, plus saving and review checks; as I aimed to finish just in time for: "Kou&Ten Day" a.k.a a "Koushiro & Tentomon Day" {Focus} (5/10, May 10) in the J.P.N fan base, the name comes from the "Kou" of Koushiro's J.P.N name, {Kou = Go = "Five" (5)} as pronounced in J.P.N + "Ten", a nickname for "Tentomon" partially given by Mrs. Izumi during "02" ("Tento-san") Koushiro fans often share Koushiro works on this day, including platonic works.

This particular work, specifically for Koushiro x Taichi, includes a Queer focus lens as the original song did. (Please be respectful if interacting on this work!)

Hello everyone!

First of all, thank you to all 48 participants of the interest poll, it was very interesting to see how another ship week would be perceived! Considering that at least 12 voters confirmed to be happy to dive into participating, I think there isn’t a more suitable date than June 1st, the beginning of Pridemonth, to officially announce this year’s Taikouvember event! (Title picture + new icon provided by @seventeenlovesthree)

November is the last month of autumn, right before Christmas time begins. It’s a time that can be filled with light and coziness but also lurking shadows and gloominess. So, November 6th to November 12th shall be dedicated to the platonic or romantic relationship between Taichi Yagami and Koushiro Izumi (Taikou, Koutai or mainly known as Taishiro(u) in the English speaking fandom). Since "Digimon Adventure 02 - The Beginning" will air on October 27th 2023 as well, some of the prompts are inspired by the potential theme of the movie:

Anne Lister ... was an English landowner and diarist from Halifax, West Yorkshire. Throughout her life, she kept diaries that chronicled the details of her daily life, including her lesbian relationships, her financial concerns, her industrial activities, and her work improving Shibden Hall.[1] Her diaries contain 7,720 pages and more than 5 million words,[2] and about a sixth of them—those concerning the intimate details of her romantic and sexual relationships—were written in code.[1] The code, derived from a combination of algebra and Ancient Greek, was deciphered in the 1930s.[3][4]

Ann Walker ... was an English landowner from West Riding of Yorkshire.

Walker and Lister became neighbours when Lister moved to Shibden Hall in 1815, but met only occasionally.[4] It wasn't until 1832 that the pair became involved in a romantic and sexual relationship.[3] Their relationship intensified over the next few months. Walker and Lister exchanged vows on 10 February 1834,[2] the date they considered their union official, and exchanged rings on 27 February 1834[5] as a symbol of their commitment to one another. They took communion together in Holy Trinity Church, Goodramgate, York on Easter Sunday (30 March) in 1834 to seal their union, considering themselves married.[5] The building now displays a commemorative rainbow plaque.[6]

Lister died on 22 September 1840, aged 49, of a fever at Koutais (now Kutaisi in Georgia) while travelling with Ann Walker.[36][37]

Walker struggled with mental health issues throughout her life. She was prone to bouts of anxiety and depression, which appeared in part to be linked to her religious faith.[5] Walker struggled to accept her own sexuality, which put additional strain on her mental health as well as her relationship with Lister.

In 1843, three years after the death of Lister, Walker was declared to be of 'unsound mind' and removed from Shibden Hall and treated by Dr. Steph Belcombe in York. She returned to Shibden Hall after a brief stay under Dr. Belcombe's care and later moved back to her family's estate in Lightcliffe, living at Cliffe Hill until her death in 1854.[5]

Lister tutored herself in geology, algebra, astronomy, philosophy, literature, French, Greek, and anatomy. She would often attend scientific lectures.

In 1830, Lister earned the distinction of becoming the first woman to ascend Mount Perdu, the third highest mountain in the Pyrenees Range. Eight years later, she became the first amateur climber to ever scale the Vignemale. M

Despite her progressive lifestyle, Lister’s political views were staunchly conservative in general. For example, she did not believe in a woman’s right to vote. She used to pressure her tenants into voting conservative and refused to rent land to people who didn’t share her political beliefs. After a dispute broke out over a drinking well on Walker’s land, she had a barrel of tar dumped into the water—making it unfit for consumption—to assert her control over the situation. Although residents of the broader community depended on that well, Lister considered it family property. In retaliation, effigies of Lister were burned.

She and her partner Ann Walker were the first known women to have a same-sex wedding ceremony, without legal recognition, at Holy Trinity Church, Goodramgate, York in 1834.

Lister had previously shared a ceremony with Mariana Belcombe.

She died aged 49, of a fever (possibly as the result of a tick bite) at Koutais (now Kutaisi in Georgia) while travelling with Ann Walker.

Digimon Adventure/02/Tri/Kizuna AMV [PREVIEW] ~ A.M.V. featuring pairing: Koushiro(u) Izumi x Taichi Yagami ~ “ ‘Ladybug’ ” {Un-official Title} Music from the M.L. P.V. {the Anime-style trailer by Toei Animation that the M.L. series originated from}

{Feel free to compare the two to ‘See What I Did There TM’!} (Note: Select “H.D.” setting on A.M.V. for better quality!) (Click the gear icon on the video, ‘Quality’ menu, and ‘1080p’!) A.U. A.M.V Spin-off of my KouTai/Taishiro(u) fic-verse “REPEAT?_” - but this AMV can be viewed as a standalone too ! (For most past A.M.V.s in the series + Notes, check here!) [For my later M.L. A.U. A.M.V. “In the rain”, view it here!] * Please read ALL notes (authors’ notes at the beginning + ends of each chapter) before/if you read the fic! (The fic deals with some heavy subject matters which are all included in the notes!)**

** This particular A.M.V doesn’t have AS heavy themes BUT it is still rather emotional and still deals with SOME implied “dramatic”, trope-y themes. {For the most part, also, at least what the M.L. P.V. plot implied}; {Koushiro’s backstory and initial self doubt also plays an important part in the background} Unlike past A.M.V’s for this series, however, the track used is a more ‘slower’ (to a point); shorter, emotional-yet-fun instrumental track (that eventually becomes upbeat / dance-y in-chorus) and focuses more on fun + ‘dramatic’ scenes that intend to tell a story. {Though it sounds like “lyrics” they’re actually ‘just’ ‘gibberish’!} {The M.L. fans sure had fun trying to pick lyrics out way back when though} The track / M.L. series can be described as “in which two people, each having their own personal issues to deal with, eventually become super-heroes” (Magical Girl-style!) {And Also, They Have Strange Feelings On The Opposite Hero’s Alternate Forms} (AND THEY DON’T KNOW WHO the Other, Hero IS) {Because you have to keep each other’s identity A Secret, right??}

As for the A.M.V. itself, Obviously, they don’t have “masked” ‘outfits’ to use, So, I Improvised TM (and EVEN made it somewhat semi canon-compliant.) {Isn’t it funny how easily These Two cleanly slip into A.U. A.M.V.s?}

In which Koushiro Izumi has Many Secrets, Taichi Yagami Has Hidden Fears Just Like Anyone Else, And They Kind Of Have To Stop The Destruction of the Worlds Together (And learn to trust/rely on each other along the way)

This A.M.V contains spoilers for: - Digimon Adventure Tri: Saikai; Taichi-“aesthetic” scenes - Digimon Adventure Tri: Kokuhaku; brief scenes - Digimon Adventure Tri: Our Future; small scenes of battle + characters’ reactions to the ending - Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna [Trailer] an implication of what may be happening involving a certain plot “device” (this A.M.V. was made before Kizuna released, so there’s no further Kizuna spoilers than that; however, at end, contains a significant moment from a later trailer) {it is the very final scene and skippable.}

Overall the A.M.V is rather short and focuses more on Character Growth and development as well as their interactions, and less on “major”/finale “spoilers”. * This DOES also imply slight spoilers for the fic-verse itself though! (Maybe without deeper contexts at least)

The line Koushiro says at the end is what he’s actually “saying” in Adventure Ep. 24 (J.P.N. Ver); (Taichi may have mis-heard him)
