Day 7: Free day All the healing! | Characters: Takeru Takaishi, Sora Takenouchi, Koushiro Izumi, Taichi Yagami, Yamato Ishida, Jyou Kido | Wordcount: 1.037
Silly boys
Takeru found her softly sobbing in the doorway when he arrived to pick her up. As he approached, she wondered aloud why out of everyone, it was him who had to see her like this. Why he was the one to check in on her.
“Because you are my nee-san,” He answered, even though she didn’t expect a reply. Sora looked at him confused. “Not really, of course, but you always felt like one.”
The smile that formed on Takeru’s lips made Sora carefully smile along. But just a discreet smile, since she was still pretty heartbroken.
Yesterday came the news that Sora and her boyfriend of almost five years had decided to breakup. Apparently they had mutually decided it, though it still came as a shock to most of the others. But Takeru had already seen it coming. He always had a special connection with the auburn haired girl. She truly felt like an older sister at times, hence why the breakup was just a matter of close observation and gut feeling.
Takeru also knew that next weekend would be an important Ikebana exhibition for Sora’s mother, and the whole group was invited. Naturally, Sora had also planned on bringing her boyfriend as her date, but this only further broke the redhead’s heart as she realized she’d be alone for the event.
Though she was strong, and after a full day of crying and eating ice cream with Mimi, Hikari and Miyako, Sora had straightened her back. It wasn’t a secret that Takeru admired Sora’s strength, but at times, especially these, he wished she was able to tell the people around her exactly what she wanted, no, needed them to do.
And he knew that what she needed was friends soothing her. And maybe a new date…
Takeru smirked to himself, increasing his pace and with it, dragging Sora along.
“Oi, Takeru-kun, why the hurry..?” She asked with a mixture of curiosity, tiredness, and annoyance in her voice.
“Because I’ve got to show you something.”
“But I’m not in the mood for anything. I just want to crawl up into my bed and—”
“Wow.” Takeru stopped suddenly, making Sora turn her head slightly in confusion. His hand held tightly to her wrist, the strong blue of his eyes grabbing the attention of her own copper orbs. “That’s not the Sora I know. I know you’re sad, disappointed, probably even angry, but you’ve got to trust me on this. Sora-san, do you? Do you trust me?”
A careful nod with a trembling lip said it all. He could see her swallow and it absolutely pained Takeru to see her look so sad and vulnerable. He flashed her his trademark grin and Sora finally let out a giggle, her puffy eyes beginning to shine as her red cheeks turned into a genuine smile. Even with the aftermath of her sorrow written on her features, Takeru was glad to see the old Sora was still there.
“I can see you have something in store for me.”
“That’s correct. Or… actually we. Anyway, so I take that as you trusting me, right? Good, because we’re almost there.” Takeru said as he started walking again, Sora’s hand in his, guiding her to the place where the surprise for his nee-san was waiting.
“Koushiro-kun’s office?”
Takeru nodded and brought Sora with him into the building, guiding her to the front door of the office. Silently, Takeru slid open the door that divided the pair from the office, and by extension, Sora’s surprise. Holding Sora’s hands in his own, his fingers brushing over her wrist, he could feel her heart pulsating like mad. It was an excitement he was happy to feel, knowing that Sora’s heart wasn’t truly broken just yet. Besides, Takeru knew that this would help with healing the heart that cared so deeply for him and their friends.
In the middle of the office was Koushiro, accompanied by Taichi, Yamato and Jyou. Genuine smiles on their faces, their bodies clad in kimonos that Sora herself had designed for the boys during one of her school assignments. Each of the boys had a flower in their hands, the same ones that Sora had used in her favorite Ikebana piece. Remembering how Koushiro and Jyou had done their utmost best to discover what flowers she had used was a great memory to him. It reminded him of the yellow flower he had been carrying with him the entire time.
“I couldn’t wear mine, since that would spoil the surprise,” Takeru said as he stepped forward and away from Sora, turning around so he could take his place between the boys with a wide grin on his face. He pulled out the yellow flower he had been carrying with him. “But I do have my flower.”
He looked at Sora, who was already tearing up. This time not from her broken heart, but because of her heart mending slightly with every piece of the sight she took in. She put her hand in front of her mouth when Taichi pulled out a small little box with chocolates, gasping a little since Taichi looked like he was about to pop another kind of question. Instead, Taichi hit Yamato with his elbow, beckoning him to step forward as well.
Sora’s emotions went from tearing up, to a flushed face, to an almost anxious one, unaware of what was about to come next. Takeru could see her swallow, and soon after an already small smile formed on her lips, copper eyes twinkling from both tears and excitement. And he thought to himself how much his nee-san deserved this little piece of all of them.
Yamato scraped his throat, making Sora’s heart visibly skip a beat.
“Please, give us the pleasure to be your date next weekend.”
It was for the first time since the breakup that Sora truly and genuinely laughed. Sora’s feet glided across the floor to the boys as fast as they could carry her, nodding fiercely and falling into their arms for a warm group hug. Tears of pure joy streamed down her face.
“We love you, Sora.” Taichi concluded for all of them.
“Silly boys,” Sora sniffed, “I love you too.”

Michi Week 2022 - Day 7: Coda
Days: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] Title: Parents² Characters: Mimi Tachikawa, Taichi Yagami, Takato Yagami (OC), Koushiro Izumi and Hikari Yagami. Summary: Mimi has some news for Taichi while they plan Takato's second birthday party. When Taichi arrived home from work that night, he found his nearly two-year old son riding the tricycle he had gotten from Hikari on his first birthday. He couldn’t help but wonder why Takato was alone in the living room, since Mimi always kept an eye on him after he started crawling and then walking. “Hey, son.” Taichi picked him up and turned him around. Takato’s shirt didn’t go unnoticed by the ambassador, who raised his eyebrows with confusion. “Big brother? What’s that… Mimi?” “What’s wrong, honey?” Her voice echoed on the house and she couldn’t help but smile before he even walked into their bedroom. “Why is our son wearing a T-shirt that says ‘big brother’?” “Isn’t it obvious?” She said without making eye contact with him, her smile turning into a grin. “He’s going to be a big brother.” “What? How’s that even…” “Didn’t you find the tiny sweater by the door?” “No.” He placed Takato on their bed and went back to look for the clothing. He found it at the right side of it. Taichi bent down to pick it up and a note fell from it. He grabbed it and then returned to his previous position, unfolding it. Congratulations! You’re going to be a square dad. “So it’s for real?” He turned to Mimi again, not quite sure how he was feeling at the moment. “I wouldn’t lie or joke about something so special like this.” Mimi finally looked at him. “It’s for real.” “I’m so…” Taichi sat on the bed and Takato immediately jumped on his arms, completely interrupting him. “Papa, play.” “Do you want to play?” “His caretaker said he didn’t sleep at all this afternoon. I’m surprised he’s still full of energy.” “Let’s go, papa.” The child got off the bed and grabbed Taichi’s hand. “I’ll be right there, son. Papa is talking to Mama right now.” “That’s okay.” Mimi smiled at him. “We’ll talk about it when he goes to bed soon.” “Are you sure?” “I am.” She nodded. “He misses his papa.” “Alright then.” He leaned over his wife and kissed her briefly. “I really want to talk about it.” “We will later on.” She cupped his cheeks and gave him another brief kiss. “We also have to plan his second birthday party.” “Okay.” “Come on, papa!” “I’m going, Takato.” Taichi held his hand tight and they headed to the living room. “Honey?” Mimi called him from the bedroom. “Don’t play with him for over an hour, okay? He still needs to shower and eat.” “Got it. You give him a bath and I’ll make dinner tonight?” “That sounds perfect to me.” “Is there anything you or our child want to eat?” “I’ll let you surprise us.” Keep reading it on FFN or AO3

oof did i come in late? can i have "do you want a hug" with either mimato or taiora? whichever you prefer! :D
I know you sent this ask eons ago, and I’m so sorry I never got around to writing something for this prompt!
I signed up for Camp NaNoWriMo today and well this seemed like a good place to start, and luckily I was able to include both Taiora and Mimato, though the latter should be read with a comical lens.
The setting is a filler episode in the reboot where Taichi and Agumon end up doing their own thing and the other kids rush after them to help them as things get out of hand, but Yamato is the only one who reaches him on time and even he has his hands full and isn’t able to rescue Taichi from an explosion, so this is what happens after that ⬇️
Sora’s eyes sought him, in between all the dust and the rubble, his brown, unruly hair easily distinguishable. She drew in a sharp breath as the dust started to clear gradually and the rest of him came into view as well. Moving faster than the others, she was by his side in an instant, swiftly navigating her way around the debris, she stretched out her hand the minute she reached him and even despite his eyes looking out of focus and his vision disoriented, Taichi immediately grabbed onto her hand and with all her remaining strength Sora pulled him to his feet. He staggered as he rose slowly, but she reacted instantly and supported him by putting his arm around her shoulder and letting him lean onto her frame. The other kids, and their Digimon, were probably watching them, but right now the embarrassment of being so close to Taichi did not matter to Sora, since the guilt of not being able to protect him in time was gnawing on her insides at a ferocious speed.
“Are you okay, Taichi? Where does it hurt the most? There must be a first aide kit in Jou’s getaway bag, I’ll treat your wounds right away!” She spoke as quickly as possible as they dragged their feet along the ground, there was no time to waste after all, she had to make up for the delay in their arrival.
“Sora...Agumon, where is he? And Yamato, is he okay?” He replied with his own questions, his voice was slow and drained and when she turned to glance at his face, she saw that he could barely keep his eyes open.
As much as Sora wanted to get started on his upkeep, she knew Taichi wouldn’t sit still and only damage his wounds further till he knew everyone was okay, so she quickly scanned the debris again, in her rush to be by Taichi’s side she had completely forgotten about Agumon, but to her relief, she saw Piyomon and Tailmon had already pulled him out of the rubble and were attending to him along with Koushiro and Hikari.
“Agumon’s okay too, look!” She said, pointing with her free hand in the Digimon’s direction, but it took Taichi some time to lift his head and follow her gaze, “And Yamato’s perfectly okay, MetalGarurumon was able to fly him out of the explosion just in time.”
“That’s great.” Taichi whispered with whatever remaining strength he had, with his heart soothed, he relaxed further into Sora’s hold, leaning towards her more heavily than he had at first, with his eyes half-closed he murmured an apology to her.
“You need to worry about yourself for now,” Sora muttered to herself under her breath, but heard Taichi let out a chuckle, and she couldn’t help but send a frown his way, how could he be reckless with his own self and still have the heart to care about others’ well being first?
“Coming from you…” Taichi chuckled, and attempted to form a grin but could barely manage half a smile and the whole attempt ended up with his face looking contorted out of pain.
“This isn’t the time to joke around, Taichi,” Sora gritted her teeth as anger flashed through her ember eyes and they came to a halt, she turned her body slightly to face him, her voice cracking slightly and eyes shining with latent tears, “You could’ve seriously hurt yourself back there, and Agumon too! Just because you got a lucky break doesn’t make what you did okay.”
Taichi remained silent, out of exhaustion or because of a lack of excuse, Sora didn’t know, but she did know that the kids had spent the past hour in a wild chase attempt to find him and help him after he had rushed out on his own while they had been asleep. She didn’t know what would’ve happened if Gabumon hadn’t been woken up by Agumon’s voice and alerted the others, she didn’t know what would’ve happened if Yamato hadn’t sped up ahead from the rest of them to lend Taichi a hand, she didn’t know what she would’ve done if they’d arrived just a moment later.
“I’m sorry I made you worry, I thought I was doing the right thing…” He trailed off as the hand that had been wrapped around Sora’s neck slid down suddenly, “Thank you, Sora.” His voice was just above a faint whisper and before she knew it, Taichi had both his hands around her neck and his head resting on her shoulders as he let out a deep, relieved sigh that made Sora’s whole body freeze on the spot.
Out of all the time and places in their lives did Taichi really need to pick right now to give her a hug, Sora screamed inside her head, as she felt her face heat up under the watchful gaze of all their friends and their Digimon, she turned her head in an attempt to tell Taichi to back off a little bit so she could help him out of the debris and onto plainer ground and finally begin looking after his wounds, but she saw that his eyes were now comfortably shut with a small smile playing on his lips as he took deep, routinely breaths that made Sora realise that he had fallen asleep in her arms. She struggled to keep him upright, as he was heavier than he looked and had no choice but to put her own hands on his shoulders to steady him, making their position look more and more suspicious to the spectators surrounding them and her cheeks turn redder at the thought of all the misunderstandings that this might cause.
“Taichi, you idiot!” She cried out, embarrassed by his actions and frustrated that she could barely move a muscle and yet no one else come forward to help her, “Jou, a little help please! He has completely passed out!” Sora called out, she couldn’t see where the rest of the kids were because Taichi’s big hair was blocking her view, but she could trust in her senior to jump into action if asked to.
And sure enough, the navy haired senior was at her side in a moment, helping undo Taichi’s hold on her frame, when she sneaked a look at him in the process, Taichi’s face looked peaceful and content, and displayed no signs of being caught in an explosion and being stuck under heavy debris up until a few minutes ago. And while Sora was grateful to know that he was happy and healthy, and most of all, safe, she decided she would still hold him accountable for his sudden and intimate actions when he woke up, whether he’d done it intentionally or not, was something she didn’t wish to ponder on.
~
Mimi quietly watched the scene unfold in front of her, she’d always thought that Taichi and Sora had been a little too upfront with all the smiles and deep gazes they sent each other’s way on a daily basis, but hugging in plain sight was a little out of bounds even by her standards, they were still only 10 years old after all. It did however, manage to perk up everyone’s attention as the recent events had left everyone tired and exhausted, both mentally and physically. So it was a bit relieving and exciting, when Taichi suddenly wrapped his arms around Sora’s necks and grabbed everyone’s attention, even Koushiro and Hikari, who had been concentrating hard on getting Agumon to regain his energy, stopped their attempts to turn and pass a surprised look in the couple’s direction. Next to Mimi, Jou’s mouth fell wide open and their Digimons, Palmon and Gomamon, let out surprised squeals.
Yamato, who had been sitting crossed legged with nothing but exhaustion filling his azure eyes as he stared blankly at the sky, while Takeru and Patamon consoled Gabumon with compliments over his quick rescue next to him, straightened up and turned his attention towards Taichi and Sora, which made Mimi want to turn to the blond instead, because she hadn’t ever seen him this interested in his surroundings right after a battle and that piqued her interest.
She studied his face carefully, there was a flicker of emotion in his eyes, which went away as quickly as it appeared and left Mimi with no choice but to speculate about what it had meant. Was Yamato annoyed by what was happening in front of him, did he too disapprove of this bold move from Taichi, or was he jealous that his friend had beaten him to the task? Mimi just couldn’t come up with a correct answer, no matter how much she peered at Yamato’s deadpan face. And then Sora cried out for help and Jou rushed over to assist her, and soon Taichi was being carried over towards them on Jou’s back as Sora trailed behind them, her bright red cheeks and ears visible to anyone with a decent eyesight.
So Mimi once again turned her attention towards the seated blond, this time she even lowered herself to level her gaze with him for a clearer look, and noticed that while his face was still as devoid of expression as ever, there was a sense of dissatisfaction in the blankness, as he watched the trio make their way towards them. Sensing her presence however, Yamato leaned back as he noticed that Mimi was sitting down quite close to him, immediately his face was taken over by an annoyed expression while his eyes darkened as he put his guard up.
“Can I help you with something?” He asked her, his voice agitated but also a little anxious, and Mimi wasn’t sure what to attribute the latter to.
“No, I was just wondering.”
“Well can you do that from a bit far away?” He demanded, a pinkish tint settling on his ears as he did so, making Mimi more confused about what was causing the blond, who was usually so adept at keeping his cool, to get so fidgety.
So of course she leaned in further towards him, in an attempt to study him even him more carefully, and immediately he leaned back and the tinge around his ears deepened. His whole body was radiating exhaustion which made Mimi feel a bit guilty about not being able to assist him enough during the battle, she was grateful however, that Yamato and Gabumon had given their all to make it to Taichi and Agumon on time and that both the duos had managed to come out of this safe and sound, with some injuries to boot in the latter’s case. So she smiled brightly at him, hoping to convey that she appreciated his efforts, but it seemed to make him even more flustered than before, and Mimi was taken aback by his expression, she’d thought Yamato was as smart as Koushiro and yet he was acting extremely dumbfounded and peculiar right now.
Then it clicked, the content look which had been visible on Taichi’s face after the hug, the one that made it seem like all the fatigue and weariness of the battle had disappeared from him, that could be what the blond was pining for too, to feel relived and refreshed after a hard day of work.
Satisfied with her conclusion, Mimi grinned as she tilted her head and met Yamato’s panicked gaze with a cheerful one of her own, “Do you want a hug too?”
And before she knew it, Yamato’s whole face turned a deep shade of red as his eyes went out of focus and he passed out in front of her.

day five: alternate universe
a studio ghibli au where hikari is an only child and her mother has passed. luckily, the neighborhood boys offer to help find her.
The floorboards creaked under her socked feet, soot covering the once pristine cotton. Hikari didn’t care if her clothes got dirty, but she didn’t want to give her father another reason to fret over her.
Cardboard boxes littered the hallway. Despite moving in a week prior, neither her or her father had the motivation or strength to pry open memories. Instead, Hikari stacked the boxes in a makeshift castle. One day, she hoped that their Queen would find her way home.
But she had been there to see her mother’s coffin lower in the ground; she had held her father as he wept.
A bookbag hung mockingly in the kitchen. The first day of school, once the happiest day of Hikari’s life, now served as a reminder of yet another first her mother would miss. Her father slouched over the stove. Hikari couldn’t help but to feel responsible for the bags under his eyes. In between finalizing the funeral arrangements and moving across the country, he had little energy to spare for Hikari, much less himself.
A whiff of burnt eggs did little to calm her anxieties, but she stomached her breakfast like a dutiful daughter.
“See you later, dad.”
He gave a half-hearted wave as Hikari slipped out of the front door. For a moment, she considered staying home for another day. She could unpack her room and make sure that her father ate a decent lunch, but her silent wishes disappeared as a herd of boys clamoured down the dirt road. Their feet pounded the ground, a race in progress. Six bookbags struggled to maintain their grasps on little shoulders as the group ran down the road.
A raven-haired boy took the lead, navigating the rocks and potholes with a practiced ease.
From the end of her driveway, Hikari watched him draw nearer. Too focused on his impending victory, the boy failed to notice her as he stopped beside her.
“See, ‘Keru? I told you I could win!”
A head of sweaty, blond hair followed close behind. Once he caught his breath, he pushed his friend’s side. The victor erupted into giggles as he continued to antagonize his friend.
With a huff, the blond crossed his arms. His cheeks were still rosy from the wind, blue eyes bright with mirth. “That’s not fair, Ken! You got a head start!”
Before Ken was able to muster up a response, a second redhead stepped forward.
“Who are you?” An accusing finger hung in front of Hikari’s face. Six pairs of eyes, colored in surprised, focused on her. A flush crawled up her neck, her breath caught in her throat.
Her mother had taught her about the importance of a first impression, but any confidence Hikari had dissipated into the morning air. Her fingers had gone numb, palms clammy. A toe dug into the dirt, her eyes focusing on the path to school. They looked at her expectantly, eyes narrowed. Silence crackled like static, interrupted by impatience.
“She’s weird. Let’s go, Daisuke.” Ken pulled his mirror image along with him, scurrying away like frightened animals.
The others didn’t bother to stick around, chasing each other the rest of the way to school.
Hikari waited for their dust trail to settle before walking down the path. Anxiety welled into her stomach; her mother would be disappointed in her. A gentle gust of wind ruffled her bangs in reassurance.
Her feet carried her onward, further away from the comforts of her new house. The school building emerged from the meadow, a field of flowers surrounding it on either side. It reminded Hikari of the story books her father used to read to her before bedtime, back when his smile reached his eyes and her mother was there .
Throngs of children gathered like dandelion seeds on a breeze, rosy cheeks and kind smiles adorning most faces. The strange group of boys stood off to one side. Huddled in a circle, their eyes trailed her suspiciously as Hikari made her way into the building.
Her little hands clutched the straps of her bookbag, as if pulling it closer to her body would quench her worries.
Living amongst rice farmers and livestock had been her father’s choice. Hikari’s mother had been raised in the countryside, escaping into the city for her first taste of freedom. It was strange to think that her mother, headstrong and accomplished, had sat in this same room; studied at these same desks.
The room was large, accommodating for all of the children in the village. With the older kids staking their claim in the back, Hikari rushed to the last empty space.
A pair of large blue eyes gazed at her, fear puckering at their eyebrow. It was the blond boy from earlier, his cheeks still flushed from his loss. Hikari squirmed under his gaze.
His fear must have dissipated quickly. It was the only explanation Hikari had for the fingers that poked into her side between lessons.
“Psst. Psst, girl.”
Her pencil continued to scratch at her paper, dodging dirty looks from the other students. His fingers continued to dig into her sensitive side. Thin lips pursed as Hikari swallowed down the giggle that bubbled in her throat. It would be disrespectful to laugh while her teacher was talking, and she figured that disappointing her mother once already was enough.
Still, the corners of her mouth couldn’t help but to tilt upwards. Chocolate eyes danced around his cerulean ones, and his fingers stilled.
“My name’s Takeru. What’s yours?” Whispering came naturally to some while a sense of quiet evaded others. Hikari assumed that Takeru was a part of the latter, his voice bouncing off the walls.
Some luck must have been on her side. Their teacher had been distracted with the younger students, too encaptured in their homesick tears to hear the blond’s outburst.
“You need to be quiet or we’ll get in trouble,” she chastised. A crestfallen shadow danced across his features before the light returned to his eyes.
“But you never answered my question.” Takeru’s voice was more hushed than before - he was trying. A toothy grin was plastered on his cheeks, his eyes aglow with childish anticipation.
She slipped her given name through her teeth, turning her full attention towards the chalkboard.
Later, the late summer sun kissed her cheeks as school children began their trek home. Takeru rushed out behind her, looking more like a mother duck with five boys in tow than an elementary student.
“So, Hikari, since when did you live here?” Glasses glinting in the sunlight, it was difficult to see what the dark-haired boy was thinking. Several paces ahead, Hikari wracked her brain for his name. As soon as school ended, Takeru had wasted no time in introducing her to everyone. Their names swam around in her head, none of them sticking.
“My father and I moved here a few weeks ago.” She didn’t turn to them, nor did she offer any other explanation.
One of the boys scoffed. “Why’d you have to move here?” It must have been Ken, the one with angry eyebrows. Hikari stopped, turning to face him. “Well, it’s not like I had a choice. My dad just wanted a change of scenery ever since my mom went away.”
Iori’s sugary smile wilted, looking up towards the tallest of their group. “That’s sad. Right, Koushiro?”
He nodded while the others let silence wash over them. Pebbles crunched underneath them as they continued on. Wind whistled through the treetops, a babbling brook accompanying the group on their journey. Crickets chimed in harmony, the background music to a most auspicious moment.
“I know!” Takeru propelled himself beside her, arms flailing in excitement. “We can help you find your Mama!” Grabbing her wrist, he broke into a sprint. The air was warm as it ran through her short hair.
He guided them to the edge of woods. Trees stretched to the sky, their arms caressing the clouds. Hikari pulled herself out of Takeru’s grasp as the group followed him further into the forest. “Wait! Where are you going?”
Hikari could see her house just over the hill, her stomach twisting at the thought of going back to her boxed up home. The boys disappeared into the underbrush, their twinkling laughter chasing after them. Impulsively, she started after them, branches scratching at her cheeks. A stray root caught Hikari’s ankle. A pair of spindly arms caught her, Daisuke’s disgruntled expression greeting her.
“You should be more careful. I don’t want cooties.” He stuck his tongue out, weaving through the trees. It seemed as if the dust bunnies from her house had followed her here, dancing around the feet of her young companions. Cheerfully, the soot sprites lead them deeper.
The trees gave way to a clearing. Lush, green grass was bordered by wildflowers, the occasional bumble bee flitting around.
“This is exactly where a Momma would wait for her baby!” Takeru declared, a triumphant grin spread across his cheeks as if he had already won. The others seemed to agree, their chatter flowing freely amidst the tree trunks.
Boisterous plants sprouted at the meadow’s edge. With leaves as big as Iori himself, he found it no trouble to crawl underneath them. Using the hem of his shirt to wipe the sweat off his glasses, Jou peered over the tops of the bushes. “Is she under there, Iori?”
Poking his head out from between the leaves, Iori shook his head. “It’s too dark under here for a grown lady,” he paused for a moment, brown eyes glistening, “And it’s too dark for six-year-old boys.” His voice wavered, tears gathering in the corners of his eyes. In an attempt to avoid the inevitable, Jou tugged Iori out of the brush.
Little soot sprites tangled themselves in his hair, chittering at the commotion. “C’mon, you know it’s rude to ask for a free ride.” Not even enchanted dust bunnies could argue with Jou’s logic. They cascaded down to the ground, tittering as their host swatted at his hair.
Daisuke couldn’t help but to laugh from the treeline, legs dangling off Koushiro’s shoulers. Being the tallest in the group came with a price, one that he happily paid anytime his friends needed him.
From this new vantage point, Daisuke scanned the branches for something. “Hey, Hikari!”
Koushiro’s grip tightened on his knees as the pair turned towards her.
Alone, in the middle of the lush grass, she looked like a fairy. If fairies wore ill-fitting Pokemon theme shirts, that is. She turned towards them, a question dancing in her eyes.
“Does your mom like climbing trees? Maybe she got stuck!” Daisuke almost gave himself a pat on the back; he was so smart!
With the leaves ruffling his cheeks, Daisuke’s attention was easily diverted. He signaled for Koushiro to take him deeper into the woods, much to Hikari’s relief. She didn’t have the heart to say it out loud.
Not too far from her, Ken sat amongst the wild blackberry bushes. His cheeks were swollen with fruit, lips stained purple. Hikari plopped herself down beside him. With his mouth full, he was less likely to ask questions she didn’t want to answer.
Ken’s attempt at speaking was obscured by the berries, a few stray escaping past his lips. Hikari couldn’t stop her laughter, a relief from the turmoil that bubbled in her stomach. Picking a few fresh from the vine, Ken offered his sticky palm, blackberries glistening on top.
“Thank you,” she said, tossing a few in her mouth. Takeru plopped himself between the two, taking two of Ken’s berries for his own. “Wow, these are good!”
True to his boisterous nature, Takeru’s voice reverberated through the meadow. Four curious heads turned before they, too, joined the impromptu picnic.
“Hikari, do you ever think you’ll find your momma?”
She wasn’t sure who asked the question. Cicadas carried on their twilight lullaby as the sun kissed the horizon in passing.
Fireflies began to twinkle at the treeline. Hikari looked up into six pairs of softened eyes. Though their curiosity rolled off of them like waves, none of them said anything else.
The grass was soft underneath her, the breeze caressing her cheek. “I’m sure I will, someday. But, for now, at least you guys keep me company.”

Number 3 with a Taichi/Koushiro friendship pairing? 💚
Ok, this story turned out a little silly. So quick details. As usual, the story takes place inside my Digi-verse :3. Taichi is a littly goofier than usual due to stress and probably the medication. So forgive him lol (?)
Koushiro has a lot of patience, to be fair.
Hope you like it!

I may be stupid, but I’m not an idiot
“Honestly, if you were any slower, you’d be going backward.”
― J.K. Rowling
Taichi had been having a bad day. It had all started when he realized that he had accidentally marked the deadline for his anthropology work on the wrong date, which meant that he had less than 6 hours to finish and send the document to his tutor. To make matters worse, his computer was under maintenance, and he had a bad cold.
It was curious, and extremely tragic, how something as simple as writing a wrong date could cause such apocalyptic results, but there was not much that Taichi could do about it. Hikari, seeing how miserable her brother was, agreed to lend him her laptop so that he could finish his work calmly. The girl wasn't going to need it anyway, since she had plans with Takeru that day, and she wouldn’t be back until late afternoon that day.
This was how Taichi, made a cocoon of blankets, with a cold compress on his forehead, and a dripping nose, had ended up sitting in the living room armchair, desperately typing about the development of civilization and the evolution of social consciousness based on use of the digital humanities. Agumon watched him curiously from a corner of the room, but Taichi was on Takeru mode, and did not notice the digimon concerned look.
“There!” Taichi roared triumphantly “Now all I need is to sen….what? Oh nono….nonono….don’t do this to me now!”
“What’s wrong Taichi?”
“From all days for the internet to fail….why now?”
Taichi took the laptop and started maneuvering around the room trying to get a wifi signal. The boy was so desperate that he began to try the most ridiculous positions possible; from the table in the living room to the inside of the shower, but no matter how much he stood on his tip toes or how much he bent down, the connection was too unstable to send the mail.
“I told Hikari we needed a new router!” Taichi growled “Come on damn it! I have 10 minutes to send this or I lose the credits!”
Taichi continued chasing after the wifi signal until he finally got a full signal and the mail went out. The boy let out a triumphant cry.
“Taichi! Be careful!” Agumon screeched.
In the middle of his search for a wifi signal, Taichi had barely been conscient of where he’d walked into. He was standing dangerously close to the balcony railing, with one feet on a stool and barely keeping the balance with the laptop in his hand. The sudden realization of this unnatural position made Taichi lose his balance a fall off. Luckily for him, agumon managed to stop his fall, but the laptop was not that lucky. It landed on the floor with a loud thud.
There was small pause, while both Taichi and Agumon stared at the fallen device with horror.
“Oh no,no….” Taichi said, horrified “Hikari is gonna kill me.”
Taichi picked the laptop and began to check it. It wasn’t broken, at least not as far he could see. The screen wasn’t even scratched , but the hit had turned it off, so he tried turning it back on.
Taichi held his air as the screen lit up, but then, it went into a blue screen and turned off again. He tried once more, and it happened again. Hikari was SO going to kill him.
His day couldn't get worse.
“Ok...keep calm…” he told himself “It’s not a big deal, we need help. It might be fixable. Koushiro! Oh yeah...I need Koushiro...now!”
Taichi took the laptop and without even bothering to change his clothes, he sprinted out of the apartment. He was lucky that Koushiro lived one floor above. Mrs. Izumi was very surprised to see him knocking desperately on their door and after the boy had given her a pretty desperate greeting, she had told him that Koushiro was in his room. Taichi thanked the confused woman and ran into the room, causing Koushiro to fall from his chair in surprise.
“Taichi-san! What are you doing here?” Koushiro cried.
“Koushiro...this is an emergency….you might be my only hope right now; no, scratch that, you might be my only chance of survival! Is that Mimi?”
Koushiro's cheeks went bright red and he quickly rushed to turn off his screen. Taichi watched the black screen stunned and then he shook his head.
“ Forget it. This is more important.” Taichi saId “ I screwed up.”
“ I should be surprised, but strangely, I am not.” Koushiro sighed “ what did you tell Sora.san this time?”
“What? No, I didn’t tell her anything.” “Ok, then what did you do to Sora-san?”
“Why are you assuming I did something to her?” “Because most of the time you get this panicky is because you messed up with her.”
“ Not true...well, at least not this time! No, this is worse…” Taichi said, putting down Hikari’s laptop on the table “I broke Hikari’s laptop.”
“Again?”
“What do you mean “again”? I’ve never broken her laptop!”
“Well there was that time when we were on middle school….”
“Ah! That doesn’t count...How was I supposed to know that book would fall over there?” Taichi said, shaking his head “No, for real...I don’t know what’s wrong with it and she’s gonna kill me if she finds out. Hell, I think not even Takeru might be able to save me this time…”
“Fine, I’ll take a look. “ Koushiro sighed “What exactly happened?”
Koushiro tried turning on the laptop, but just like Taichi, the device turned on, showed a blue screen and then went off again. Sighing, Koushiro opened his cabinet and took out a small tool kit and began working on the laptop. “It’s a long story…” Taichi said, walking around the the room like a restless lion “ The summary is, I wrote my reports deadline wrongly, so it turns out I had to hand it in today by noon, and my computer is on the store for maintenance, so I had no computer and had to use Hikari’s to finish, but hell when I had like 15 min for the deadline, I couldn’t get wifi signal to send it, so I had to look around the apartment to see where I had enough signal to send it and happens that the balcony gets full service, anyway...I tripped and the laptop fell.”
“From the balcony?”
“Hell, no! If so there would be no laptop. I fell to the ground.” “RIght….” “It’s all the router’s fault. The signal is so bad.”
“Did you even consider using your phone’s hotspot? Or perhaps that Lan collection instead of walking around the apartment?”
“The what?”
“Never mind…” Koushiro sighed “I think I might have an idea of what’s wrong, but it is going to take me awhile. What time does Hikari come home?”
“In about two hours…” Taichi said, looking at the clock “but no problem. I have a plan.”
“YOu do?”
“Yeah!” Taichi said, taking out his phone “I’m texting Takeru. I’ll lift his curfew for this time, so he can distract Hikari and get her home later....”
“You do know, Takeru is a poor liar and Hikari is actually pretty sharp. She will suspect something is up…”
“She’s with Takeru. He can kiss her or something and she’ll forget about it.”
“I thought you weren’t pleased with your sister getting kissed by any boys, Takeru included.”
“Priorities Koushiro. I hate the idea, I truly do...but sacrifices are required for my survival.” “You’re overreacting…” Koushiro laughed “I doubt Hikari would kill you.”
“You had no idea how she gets when she’s really angry.” Taichi said, rolling his eyes “So...why exactly were you seeing Mimi’s photos when I came in.”
Koushiro dropped the screwdriver and then let out a painful groan when he accidentally got a little electrocuted with the laptop’s static.
“I wasn’t!” he replied, blushing “Not ...strictly willingly. Mimi-san borrowed my tablet and when I got it back, I was notified that the memory was full. So I was going through the files to see what she had done to saturate my 1TB memory card.”
“Ahhhh...and what was it?” “Mimi-san seems to enjoy selfies.”
“She took selfies with your tablet?” Taichi smirked “That’s a message, you know?”
“A message?”
“Yup” Taichi nodded “She’s sending you an invitation. Believe, I know about this things.”
“Right, and that would explain your current status with Sora-san…”
“Hey, things with Sora are complicated ok.”
“How complicated could it be. Everyone knows you two are into each other.”
“Pff, of course not.”
“Right, that is why you made all that fuss when she was dating that...what was his name again? Yotaro?”
“Ryutaro...and for the record, the guy was a douche. He wasn't good enough for her.”
“Yeah, well, shouldn’t you do something about it?”
“I did, didn’t I? Sora wasn’t too happy about it though.”
“I didn’t mean that…” Koushiro rolled his eyes and said, “ I meant, ask her out.”
“Me?”
“Yeah, you. Everyone knows she went out with that guy to make you jealous.”
“No way. Sora would kick my butt if I even brought it up.”
“How do you know? My sources say that you might have a good chance.”
“Your sources, huh?” Taichi smirked “Is Mimi telling you all the gossip now?”
“That’s...out of the subject.”
“Riiight. Returning the question, then. When are you going to do something about it?”
“What do you mean?”
“You two have been sending smoke signs to each other since highschool. Aren’t you going to do something about it?”
“Smoke signs?”
“Yeah, you are even more obvious than Takeru and Hikari, and those two beat you at it.”
“That’s different. Mimi-san and I are just friends.”
“Aha...that’s what Takeru said, you know?”
Koushiro gave Taichi an irritated glare, but the older kid smirked.
“Taichi-san...if you keep distracting me, I won’t be able to fix this.”
“Ok, ok...sorry.” Taichi answered, raising his hand in a peaceful gesture “so...what’s wrong with it?”
“Good news, it isn’t unfixable. “Koushiro replied “the fal messed up with some of the RAM memory components, so I’ll just have to check it and put it back together.”
“What’s the bad news?”
“I’m not sure if I might have the spare pieces here.”
“Well, I guess it could be worse.”
“Yeah, well….” Koushiro sighed “next time, do me a favor, Taichi.”
“What?”
“Don’t drop the computer.”
“Of course I won’t. I might be stupid, but not an idiot….”
“Sometimes you make me wonder….”
“It was an accident!”
“Yeah, I’m sure it was.” Koushiro laughed “You’re lucky I can fix it.” “Yeah, I’m lucky to have you as a friend. I am so grateful that I could kiss you.”
“I’ll rather not.”
“Right...How about I ask Mimi to do it instead?”
“Taichi-san…”
Taichi smirked. He was lucky to have friends like Koushiro, there was no doubt about that.
============================================================
I don’t ship them (Unless I you count BROTP’s as shipping) but I am pretty sure this is how Taichi was feeling at the time Lol

One day past, and then another, and another, and another.
All he want was to back to normality, back to the long days haunting on the forest and the short nights on the arms of his lover.
But all he get from Yamato was silence, coldness, indifference, sometimes even fear.
At the begining Taichi thought that he only needed time, a few nights to cry over his lost friend, that at some point the both would talk about it, but that time never came.
And everyday that past the air felt thicker between them, he want to scream and run and fight, but they put him against an enemy he would never beat, a bigger obstacule than Yamato´s bitterners
His sister talked and whispered and sang, always the same nonsense, Hikari continues all day every day, she join him for breakfast and dinner, she walked him around the halls of the castle and in the meetings with the council; and when she was not there, Koushiro was, and when they disappear and he finally could breath it was night, and he was left alone on his room with his wife.
And Yamato guarded the room
And Sora looked at him demanding something that he refuse to give
And everything he could think about was Yamato outside the room
And the woman inside the room grew impatient, but also proud; she wasn´t going to beg and he wasn´t going to bend.
In the morning Hikari was waiting for him outside the room, and Yamato looked at the floor and Taichi died for explain him that nothing happened, that he never touch her as he had touch him, but his little sister smile at him, and the routine begins again.
Days and nights, thoughts that what could be tormented him, he should stay on the island for the execution of Iory and Ken; he should never come back for the war; sometimes he wonder if it was bad luck that Kouji stroke that arrow...
“What a wonderful moon” Hikari exclaim when the same cheerful voice, maybe a little bit cheerful that the usual “you should rest, go to bed earlier tonight”
As if he want that, between the eyes of the lights and the lies of the crown it was the Kingdom, if something allowed him not to drown was his duty, his work, the only vow that he hadn't broken, so he devoted himself, he worked late, hardly and constand.
“ If you need rest go to your room” he smiled stacking a pile of papers that could totally wait until next morning “ This is important Hikari” He lied, in the corner of his eye it was Yamato, of course, silence Yamato guarding the door in the room when only he and his sister where, if only, if this time she would let them alone
“Is not as important brother, you know...” a little red appear on her sister cheeks “this moon is a powerful augury, this night could be the night”
“The night?”
“You know…” It was not the presence of his sister what bothered him, sometimes he felt that Hikari did not exist anymore, they had somehow replaced the sweet girl who was scared of the shadows, the annoying young woman who scolded him about his manners, who joked, who laughed, for one more of them, an endless recital of light proverbs, a tool for their scams “because it such a beautiful full moon” she mamble
“ the moon?” but behind her rosy cheeks Taichi somehow saw a glimpse of his little sister “ should I let my work because of the moon?”
“Brother!” Hikari was there “You may not know, but the moon is a light vessel, its dictade the fluctuations of the soul, enlight the spirit, especially those from women” she avoided his eyes “and I don't ask you to quit your job, just to focus on one of greater importance”
Taichi late a minute to catch up on her words “What you want Kari?”
“Is not about what a i want brother! is more about what I know” she lowered her voice Was she trying to prevent Yamato from listening to them?
“I dont think you know as much as you think”
“I have been studying the texts, I have looked at the stars, I have prayed every day since your return, I have ..." she stuttered "I have monitored the fluctuations in the queen's body, believe me, toning must be the night” the knight at the door turn around
He stand up, livid in anger and shame “you have no right!”
“Brother!”
“Dont you dare!” he feels the rage burning his skin “Dont call me brother when you act like nothing more that a priest!”
“I only want the best for you!”
“The best for me? is this the best for me? did I look like the best I had been? HOW?! How you have time for stars and book and prayers when you are watching me all day?!”
“I´m not…”
“Yes you are! Do you think i don´t know? that I´m stupid?! You are here talking about trues and life and you lie and kill”
“I never…”
“You are killing me Hikari, don´t you see? all this pat that your light draw end with my death” he laughs, sitting again “ you are just like the rest of them, are you still my sister Hikari? are something of you still there?”
“What do you mean? of course im your sister”
“Then talk to me, ask me if I want any of this, act as if you care when I´m suffering!”
“Of course I care! but brother you must know, suffering is how we gains forgiveness, sacrifice will give us the eternal paradise, is the only way for The Light to enter in our souls “ the words of a priest, Hikari spoke with such a devotion, Taichi was sure she believes every single line “Only through suffering can we atone our sins”
“what do you know about my sins?”
she said nothing but her eyes move to the door
“Live me alone sister” His voice drop a shadow between them
“I cant…I have orders ”
“orders from who? You are nothing more than a lady of the court”
“I´m a sister of The Light!”
“No you are not! you are a tool! a pretty face that they train to recitate old passage! They haven't even let you give the votes!, did you know why? “ he stand up “because you are the princess of the mountains, you are the key to our parents titles and everything than you are doing to me sister, they are gonna force on you too! and I remind you I'm still the damn King of all the living land and I command you to leave me alone!”
She shook and tremble, her little body looked like it would broke
“Yes your majesty” a little bow, not a single tear “ I must inform you that the queen is waiting for you on your chamber” she walk out, not before calling Yamato to follow her, finally leaving him alone.
And felt alone indeed, not Hikari or Yamato turn back to looked at him when they walk away, he knew he had lost his sister, it was not sudden; slowly the claws of The Light had dragged her for years until they took control of her entire body, there was nothing he could do to get her back, but Yamato …
Taichi leaves his study and walked with the head up and stop in front of the door with no guards, sacrifice would bring him paradise.
Sora was sitting near to the window, holding a book she wasn't reading, it wasn´t even midnight when her husband appear.
“You are late” you stupid, stupid man
“I know” she didn't expect him to talk back, he never did, He took so long but finally walked until her and took her hand, one knee on the floor “I need to know, did you want a son? is really your wish or is a mandate of The Light?”
She move with confusion, only Taichi ever ask for what she want
“I want a heir, I don't want the legacy of my father to died with me” he expect sincerity “and I… I wish for a baby, I want to be a mother it has nothing to do with The Light”
“ fine, then I'm gonna need your word”
“My word?” she was used to be ignore by him, but this? Taichi suddenly care and for onces she was completely lost
“Yes, the promise that you won't kill me as soon as you have a heir”
“I would never do that!” she rush and dear heaven he touch her shoulder; he had no right, when was the last time anyone touch her? was that his fear? that was what was holding him back? a hope that she thought dead blooms
“Promise me that you won't let them kill him” a stupid woman for a stupid man “Promise me….”
“And what about the promises you made to me? what about your lies? how you dare to ask me for anything!”
“You need it to be my son” who was that men? why the sudden confidence? “promise me that you won't let them kill him” he repeat “promise me that Yamato would be alright” the audacy
She thought in refuse, but only the fools fight a battle already lost.
“You have my word” she didn't need his heart anyway, she only needs his body, his touch, his hands, his strong arms took her and carried to their bed “But you must never lie to me again”
That's smile, he closed his eyes and stroked her skin, what a horrible way to be a gentleman, if only she care, if only they had not already passed the point of no return.
She undress herself, he do the same.
If it was a defeat, she hope every failure in life feels that good

An extract:
It’s all happening in a flash, I don’t really have time to take in everything. Only halfway through the morning walk do I realize this is the last time I’ll be using this specific route to get from our apartment to the school. It wasn’t until we were gathered in the courtyard did I realize I won’t have to listen to the eighth-month and counting construction occurring across the street. It’s only when we’re in the auditorium, facing the polished stage and being surrounded with lavish decorations does it settle in : Once more, Hikari Yagami has been fostered to move onto the next stage of life without a second to celebrate how she entered the last one. This is something I haven’t told Takeru-kun, Tailmon, or even Yamato-kun. Sometimes, it feels like I’ve navigated through life on autopilot . I’m not saying that I’ve ‘faked it’ until now. Every small I flashed, every tear I’ve shed, each time my voice is raised - that’s all me. But I don’t think I’ve had time to breathe, to really enjoy what’s happening in the present. If I’m being honest, I think that’s also why I took up photography, to relive the moments where I didn’t give myself permission to be alive. Up until this point, things have always been organized for me. I like structure, but sometimes it gets too suffocating, too mundane. I wouldn’t change anything about our adventures with the Digimon, but that too made me realize I don’t always have autonomy in my life. So here I am, dressed in my high school uniform for the last time, and hopefully the last day of my youth where I’ll have to adhere to a uniform system.
After today, Hikari Yagami will be reborn . Dramatic, I know, but I can’t help but dwell on this matter. If dreams could materialize into reality, I would have taken a Photography degree. Takeru-kun has my respect, secretly working towards being a full-on creative when the industry’s so uncertain. But for me? I don’t have the courage to do that. I adore children, as young as eleven years old did I consider becoming a kindergarten teacher. I can help foster not only their understanding of the world but of themselves. Yes, when I’m too much of a coward to chase after my own dreams; I can help the next generation with theirs. I’ll be one of a million points of light to shed a sliver of kindness in this bizarre world.
The actual ceremony goes on, a round of applause and a whole auditorium’s worth of sniffles begin. Most of the Digimon are content with staying in Koushiro-san’s laptop; but we’ve made an exception for Veemon, Patamon and Tailmon. They wanted to be present beyond being digital flesh. Ichijouji-kun’s having his ceremony on a different day since he doesn’t go here but insisted to come. I appreciate everyone that made the effort to show up, how my heart swelled up when I first saw all the Chosen Children gathered. Sora-san took the initiative to arrange personalized bouquets, I hope mine doesn’t wilt too soon and I can preserve her love. Being the oldest one, Joe-senpai graciously offered to ‘take us out for drinks' afterward. Most of us took it as a joke, but Daisuke-kun and Takeru-kun jumped right on; quickly followed by Mimi-san and Onii-chan. For once, I’m not the photographer, it feels odd to be on the receiving end of the lenses. But with a couple of linked arms and another few wrapped around my shoulders, I grew comfortable with flashing the thousandth smile for this morning. After all the formalities are out of the way, everyone’s in the mood to get a little rowdy.
Teachers and parents attempt to maintain a level of discipline, but it falls upon deaf ears. My eye drifts to a pair of blonde brothers, and despite being within close proximity, this is the first time I’ve had a chance to speak to them alone. While Takeru-kun waves goodbye to a trio of sobbing juniors, it’s Yamato-kun who notices me first and wears the sweetest smile in the universe. I hope I’m not blushing too hard and perhaps pass it off as a trick of the light being under the cherry blossom trees. “You two got a minute?” I ask them, clutching onto my certificate scroll, watching them starry-eyed. “Hikari-chan, you know this loser would defy the physics of reality for you,” my best friend jokes, my cheeks only continue to become rosier while his brother slaps him on the back. Composing himself, Yamato-kun offers another million-dollar smile. “You okay, Ange ?” he asks softly, I approach him closer for a quick hug, then have to stand on my toes to hug Takeru-kun (when did he get so tall?). “Close your eyes and hold out your hands,” I request of them, and they do so. Smiling to myself, I fish around my pockets and successfully find my items, carefully placing each one at the palm of their hands. “Okay, now you can look.” Their azure eyes flutter open, first focusing back on me, then devoting themselves to what’s sitting in their respective hands. Takeru-kun gasps in excitement, Yamato-kun’s eyes water at the corners; and from his expression, I know that if we weren’t in public - he’d unabashedly express what tugged his heartstrings. “For the man who has my heart,” I begin as a whisper, my entire face matching my flower corsage, “And the one who I call my best friend, my second and third button .” Maybe it’s not so bad how time goes on, but I want to savour this moment of being enveloped in a joint Ishida-Takaishi brothers hug. “Oh, and this is from my own jacket. Yamato-kun, the buttons on yours are still intact-” As soft as a butterfly’s landing, the older Ishida brushes his lips against my forehead, and once more I’m burning up. Yamato-kun pats down my hair and tightens his arm around me, Takeru-kun pulling away to give us space. “...you’ve already taken my heart, Ange . You can do whatever you want to my old uniform.”

Sora really is pissed about the reboot not working out with Meicoomon
Can Jou's girlfriend appear already
How can the Digimon not know their own names
After Mimi openly stating Palmon was ugly it's nice to see her saying she's pretty
My brother just really wants Meiko dead LMAOOOO he has no idea
Whenever Meicoomon's angry the infection reappears this is something
MY TAISHIRO'S BACK I LOVE MY KIDDOS SO MUCHHHH
In 1999 they didn't have phones life was simpler
TAKERU AND TAICHI TEAMING UP JUST TO TROLL YAMATO I'M HERE FOR THIS
Taichi and Yamato sharing looks because they know Sora's unstable
TAICHI AND YAMATO LITERALLY APPEAR IN 5 SECONDS NEXT TO SORA AYCIABG
Taichi really tries his best to make Sora feel better and Yamato wants to get closer but they really are clueless
LMAO AGUMON WHY DID YOU HAVE TO APPEAR I HATE TJIS AYVIEB
Maki's computer has a DigiWorld Google Maps
Taichi is the worst he never knows when to SHUT UP
Sora really exploded with Taichi and Yamato, perhaps because they're the closer to her. Calling them selfish, and they really are
THAT FLASHBACK WITH PIYOMON WAS REALLY UNCALLED FOR MY POOR HEART
Can Taichi, Sora and Yamato openly get in a polyamorous relationship already
I wonder what would've happened if Taichi and Yamato hadn't gone looking for Sora
What did the rest of the gang think when the golden trio came out of the woods how kinky
Sora really closes herself when she's bad with Piyomon yet she doesn't stop caring for her at all
Maki made the reboot her final goal in life, she got obsessed
DAIGO'S LOVE DECLARATION WAS SO SMOOTH SOMEONE GIVE HIM A TROPHY
I wonder if Meicoomon opened portals in the distortion so the kids would survive
Piyomon is stone cold how many times must she make Sora CRY
Will they ever let us know how did Meiko get to the DigiWorld
Hikari is so pure so graceful she was simply taking a nap next next to a tree
ELECMON YOU WERE MISSED
The kids appeared in iconic places i wish they had done more things there
Meiko is a girl scout this is canon
EVERYONE WAS WORRIED ABOUT MEIKO BUT NO ONE WAS WORRIED ABOUT SORA AND SHE KNOWS IT
What kind of drugs did Hackmon use on Daigo oh my GOD
KOUSHIRO SHOWING GOMAMON AND AGUMON SLIDESHOWS CAN THIS KID GET ANY NERDER
Palmon is a better artist than Taichi
Piyomon sleeping next to Meiko instead of Sora was too much WHY TOEI WHY
The train was coming after Koushiro and Yamato and the Digimon wouldn't move AT ALL
Everyone loves trolling Yamato let's make an OVA where everyone trolls him 10/10 would watch
Hikari saying they should accept their partners as they are now was such a nice thing to say, plus she knows Nyaromon didn't get to suffer this time around
I'm glad Meiko was there to comfort Sora tbh she really needed to be listened
Sora saved Meiko's ass
I wonder if the Mysterious Man gets to control whoever he wants
Meicoomon opened tge portals so the rest of the gang could go help them out
Sora throwing rocks at the MM is so iconic I want this in every fanfiction
THE MYSTERIOUS MAN LICKING SORA'S CHEEK WAS SO UNCALLED FOR I WILL FOREVER HAVE NIGHTMARES
The Mysterious Man: licks Sora's cheek
Sora: does nothing
Mugendramon attacks Piyomon.
Sora: PUSHES THE HECK OF THE MYSTERIOUS MAN FUCK HIM
Will forever fangirl at the fact Taichi and Yamato got into the PORTALS TO SAVE SORA
I wonder if the gang saw Gennai/the MM harassing Sora like shit
Taichi: are you okay, Sora?
Sora: I DON'T THINK SO
Gennai on full sith mode is scary as fuck
How powerful can Plotmon's attack be
Joe saying the bad guy is Yg whatever he's called ayfiebf
Koushiro typing random stuff in the laptop and everyone getting his plan is too funny
Leaving Meiko alone was a badddd idea y'all
Sora's eyes when Piyomon called her by her name <3 <3
JOU ATTACKING THE MM IS MY FAVORITE PART OF THIS WHOLE FILM
HUGE TENTO IS ADORABLE
Yamato!!!!!!...... kun
How did Maki know where to find Bakumon exactly
Maki really went full cray cray
What was that underwater scene where Taichi and Yamato die it was so weird
Was the lake frozen or how did they manage to stand now
Palmon saying Tentomon got shrunk is so CUTE
what kind of food does Sora eat to make her bones so strong
Yeah, don't mind me here I am about to die yet I want to talk about meatballs
I love Hououmon's sparkly feathers
HOW CREEPIER CAN GENNAI GET
JOU SAVING SORA GIVES ME SO MUCH LIFEEEEEE
Seraphimon and HerkulesKabuterimon really were unnecessary imo
20 minutes of evolution sequences later
Pyocomon's de-evolution sequence was super cool okay
So Jou did notice Piyomon and Sora weren't getting alone
I never knew how much I needed a Star Wars x Digimon crossover
The first thing that Sora says to Taichi and Yamato is asking them if they got hurt I adore this woman so MUCH
Taichi: hits Yamato so he'd talk to Sora
Yamato: hits Taichi so he'd talk to Sora
Sora: bakas
Meiko is like super dead but not really.
My brother can't stop laughing at the fact Seraphimon appeared just because lmao
sooo.... Hackmon is with Homeostasis and Alphamon is with Yggdrasil
What I still don't get is why Gennai needed Ken's for to get into the Real World when he already could get into with his Digital form
I still feel like I have to watch it one more time to fully appreciate everything... but this definitely was something.
I really enjoyed seeing Sora have the spotlight, I didn’t enjoy all the time lost with evolution sequences, but what to do.
Also, that cliffhanger?? God knows when will OVA number 5 will come out.
