Hey guys big update on my OTGW comic dubbing series! I'm starting on the Hollow Town comic first and will be splitting each comic into parts! Plus I'm working on hollow Town first cause tbh it's my least favorite in the franchise. Uh actually, I don't know if anyone else noticed but we didn't actually see Asami in her mansion since she discovered that her father was an Equalist and ran away with the others.

Does she live in her mansion at all, since she was mostly seen together with Korra on Air Temple Island (or in her factory halls or in her office building), and in Book 4 after Korra returned they were together on the island, while in the mansion we see only Wu, Mako and his family.

Even in the comics Asami is not seen anywhere near her mansion, and in the last comic Asami is seen again along with Korra on Air Temple Island.

Nowhere is it directly said but does that imply that Asami now lives with Korra on Air Temple Island with Tenzin and his family?

I like the idea that Asami gave up living in a huge mansion and chose to live more modestly with Korra on Air Temple Island.

Some visual evidence:

Whatever you do‼️don't think about Asami rattling around in that big old mansion after her dad went to prison. I feel like she probably would've been too nice to let any of the household staff go until she literally ran out of money, so it was probably just her and the maids and cooks trying to ignore that big empty space Hiroshi used to fill. She must've been so damn lonely on top of dealing with the trauma of having her dad try to kill her, and I wonder if it was some kind of relief when Mako & Bolin's family came to stay with her.
