Rae/Heyhay Questions

What happened to Icarus's birds?? We know Rae said he'd take care of them, but with the birds being wacked and Icarus whole memory type thing, what would happen with that.

Sherb and I talked about this a bit and landed on the birds seeking out Rae and he builds an aviary for the strange new little friends following him around. I might even write a fic for it!

Heyhay how long did the scrapbook (shown at the end) take to be made?

I worked on it for nearly a month and a half between organizing with the artists and making it myself!

How did you come up with Vaeh's Name?

It's from Fenris' sister Nevaeh!

Will you continue to cosplay the characters after this?

Absolutely!

To Rae/Hayhay: what was your favorite memory to make in the Always Remember Book?

I think probably all of the wedding details. I loved talking with my friends to plan out the details and outfits SO MUCH and a lot of the poses are based on my own wedding photos!

Are there any plot lines that you wish you could have done or explored more in depth, but couldn't due to time?

We initially had some ideas for finding a few more Telchin temples, including Project Protetus. I really like building the temple/facilities so that would have been fun!!

How did lore planning/pre stream work?

We usually plan out rough ideas for a stream in dms and then meet 30 minutes before a stream to go over everything, dry run some things like flight paths, and do sound checks!

Out of all the characters on fable smp, which one do you think you could win in a fight against?

Will we see other versions of the fable characters in other smp's like Bound?

Rae's took FOREVER to actually land on. I was really stuck on wanting something that felt more correct than Knowledge and we tossed around a lot of ideas until landing on Wonder.

How much of the relationship constellation was planned?

Literally only Raax and Ocie's original partners (Rust, Jerry, Shawn) were planned! The others came about naturally as the lore progressed.

Did Rae ever get better at baking/cooking?

YES! At least slightly-

How old is Rae in the time period that Rye made in Rae’s epilogue

Not an exact age for Rae, but his epilogue takes place when Vaeh is roughly 4-5 years old.

The first two seasons have “names” (endstone reset and skulk reset) but what would be season three’s?

Rae remembers Icarus as a child up until when Icarus' first death would have been! Isla would also remember Icarusa as a child as well.

Was the release me book from season one written by fable?

Yes!

What is Haley? She came back from the dead but no body ever said if Midas made her come back or if she was a god.

Midas brought her back, switching her and Fable's places so he would go back into Purgatory

Why couldn’t Haley see quixis’ changes from purgatory?(and fable)

There is no record of Quixis in the Akashic Records. This is also why Icarus is missing from the records in Rae's epilogue!

Are you guys gonna do another smp where its everyone as the same cast?

Nope, not with this exact cast at this time, but we all are on a bunch of other smps you can check out! Mer, Bound, Siege, and more!

Is there a reason behind all of the seeds you use in Minecraft? Or is it just the first biome that pops up is the new setting for the season?

We actually look really hard for a good world seed that we like. For season 3, we really wanted a good spot that the tree could be near the ocean and this seed worked out great for that!

Will we be able to have a world file of S3?

I waited for ven epilogue to go rant about head cannons. And I’m so glad I did.

Anyway

Head cannons!

1. I headcannon that ven remembered Icarus a few hours after getting back to the past. And he spend the rest of his life making small little drawings or something for Icarus. Which of course disappeared a few minutes later.

2.Rea knows something is wrong with his memory. He’s aware that something or someone is missing. He’s searches his mind several times looking for it but found nothing. It’s one of his other projects. He’s not yet thought of any connection to his quixis research.

3.Veah talks to Icarus like Icarus talked to Midas with the wall and pond. Though instead of big things they talk through flowers. Small things that are insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Veah’s got her own notebook and everything. Wanting to be just like his dad. Rea doesn’t know. Cause Veah like his dad wants to figure it all out before sharing anything.

4. Ocie remembers Ven. The first time she realized the others don’t she tried to tell someone about ven only for Icarus to intervene and tell her to not talk about Ven. Ocie put up a bit of a fight cause to her this was yet another god like person trying to tell her what to do. But eventually Icarus got her to pinky swear she wouldn’t tell anyone.

5. The first time isla met aax she was very curious about him. She wanted to know as much as possible about her sons partner.

Similarly when isla met wolf she asked him a whole bunch of questions as well. Until she learned that fenris was a prince and where he was from. They spend the rest of the day talking about fenris’s family

Now, with that being said- something about them becoming romantic didn't and still doesn't sit right with me. I can totally see the two in a QPR, they have a great dynamic as partners, but I just prefer them as a platonic ship.

4. Ari/Momboo- I have seen like three posts about them as partners and I hold them in my hands. The sun/moon imagery. The potential for nicknames. They would be wonderful QPPs.

Also, if you also sometimes go for older girl/younger boy, I have two very lighthearted generally wholesome picks!

First is 5 Minutes with You at a Convenience Store, which is about a 17 year old convenience store clerk, Shibasaki, and the office lady who frequents the store, unnamed so we just call her OL-san. It’s very low-romance, though Shibasaki has a clear crush on OL-san and she starts to catch some feelings later, so a lot of it is just them interacting with swapping povs. It’s so funny and so cute, and the dynamic between the extremely earnest, deadpan, and at times very dramatic Shibasaki and the very sweet-natured, good-humored, and silly OL-san is excellent. It’s one of my favorite mangas and I highly recommend it for a nice, chill read.

The second is more… controversial haha, but I really enjoy how cute the one-sided crush the kid has on the lead is. Anyway it’s called Yankee Shota to Otaku Oneesan, and it’s about 11 year old delinquent Ryuoh who has a very awkward aggressive childhood crush on his nerdy adult neighbor, Kazuko, who’s a doujin artist with social anxiety and struggles to engage with loud people, extraverts, and guys. So a lot of it is her not knowing how to deal with this scary kid who insists on following her around because he doesn’t know how to deal with his crush on her. It’s very funny, cute, and charming, and I really enjoy how Kazuko has these problematic tastes in fiction but totally treats Ryuoh like a normal kid while respecting his feelings. (There’s also some brocon stuff in the side cast which I love and wish they showed more of.)

Oh no problem, I prefer older m/younger f, but am totally ok with vise versa! First one sounds good! In the second one I don't think I'll ship this, as an adult x a 11 year old is not to my taste, but aside from that doesn't sound bad! Thank you, Ocie :3

Hari minggu kemarin (28/5/23) adalah hari yang cukup membingungkan karena semua rasa terjadi di hari itu

Pagi-pagi aku terburu-buru berangkat ke SBM, dari hari Kamis aku sudah berencana akan ke Dmall (untuk soksok me time) habis pulang dari SBM, jadilah aku ngga naik motor dan memesan gojek.

Aku pesan gojek di bawah, dan ternyata abangnya deket (padahal biasanya rada jauh), jadilah aku semakin terburu-buru dan panik. Kemudian aku ingat meletakkan hape di rak sepatu di garasi.

Tetapi aku kembali lagi ke dalam, karena ketinggalan tas yang isinya bahan belajar untuk ke SBM, kemudian sembari pamit, aku keluar, merasa sudah memasukkan hape yang ada di rak sepatu ke tas yang tadi baru saja diambil, kemudian pakai helm, dan naik gojek.

Belum sampai 500 meter, kira-kira semenitan, di atas motor, aku dan abang gojek kembali lagi, karena aku tidak menemukan hapeku di tas itu, aku kira tertinggal di atas rak sepatu, tapi tidak ada setelah aku hampiri. Kemudian aku cek tas ransel tidak ada.

Ayah ibu panik, perasaan baru bentar?, ketinggalan di atas kali?, tapi setelah 5 menit mencari tidak ketemu juga, jam sudah menunjukkan pukul 9 lewat, dan harusnya aku sudah berangkat. Kemudian ayah bilang, ini bukan hapenya di kamar? sedikit lega, eh ternyata bukan, itu hape lama yang masih dipake, kemudian aku bawa saja hape itu (yang ngga ada paket internet) dan berangkat dengan penuh harapan bahwa itu hape entah keselip di tas bagian mana.

Sampai di SBM, aku turun dari motor dan minta doa sama abang gojeknya, pak doain hape saya ketemu ya, iya neng, katanya

Lalu aku bernyanyi, mengajak ngobrol adik, dengan lebih semangat, berusaha untuk menghilangkan kegalauan di hati karena hapeku tidak ada. Selesai mengajar, aku kembali cek, tas ransel, tas jinjing, nihil.

Sambil terbengong-bengong, setelah evaluasi kaka kaka SBM, aku berpikir oh mungkin jatuh di teras, di sela-sela rak sepatu. Ya, pasti di situ.

Karena tidak bawa motor dan bawa hape yang tidak ada internetnya, aku meminta kepada Kak Oci untuk tethering wifi, trus katanya, kenapa ngga bareng aku aja ka?, eh emang kaka bawa helm, nanti ada polisi lo, dan memang pas banget di hari minggu itu bertepatan dengan orang-orang tes masuk polisi.

Santai ka, lewat gang abis margo aja, nembus ke juanda, tapi tumben ka ngga bawa motor? kemudian aku menceritakan drama pagi hari tentang hape yang tiba-tiba lenyap. Lalu diantarlah diriku ke depan GTA, sebelum turun Ka Oci bilang, semoga hapeny ketemu ya ka.

Dari GTA sambil jalan ke rumah, aku gamang. Itu hape dikasih idad, apa yang harus aku bilang sama dia, itu hape ada banknya nanti harus ke bank kah? ada foto ktp juga nanti dijadiin pinjol ngga ya? harus ke grapari ya buat urus no? Ah tapi pasti ada keselip di rak sepatu.

Sampai rumah, aku berjongkok-jongkok depan mobil melihat kolongnya, nihil. Merunduk-runduk di taneman-taneman, kosong. Masuk pagar, melongok-longok di rak sepatu, tidak ada. Huft.

Masuk ke dalam rumah, mencoba mencari di ruang tamu, tangga, kamar, dan nope tidak ada. Lalu dengan hape lama, yang sudah tersambung ke wifi rumah, aku teride untuk search my phone. Baru tau ternyata google ada fitur itu.

Hapeku di silent, biasa benci notif hape, jadi ngga kedengeran suara hape, tapi masih nyambung ditelpon, di whatsapp juga masih centang dua. Aman at least. belum dimatiin powernya.

Di fitur google itu, ada bunyikan handphone, artinya meski silent, hape itu akan berbunyi. Dan setelah aku mengklik bunyikan suara. Tidak ada suara nihil. Berbarengan dengan adzan Dzuhur berkumandang. Oh mungkin nunggu adzan dulu. Tapi setelah adzan selesai tetap sunyi. Hatiku mencelos. Hal yang ditakutkan terjadi diambil orang lain. Kemudian aku bunyikan lagi dan dimatikan dari hapeku yang entah di mana itu.

Eh ternyata di fitur google itu, bisa dilacak hape ku di mana, ternyata ada di daerah bukit cengkeh, kira-kira 5 menitan dari rumah. Jleb, mencelos hatiku, gimana coba ambilnya. Ayah ke masjid bawa motor, ngga bisa disamper, trus kalau disamper bilang apa coba.

Lalu, aku berpikir, ah sudahlah, mau sekarang ke sana juga ngga ada motor, udah sholat dulu. Baru mau wudhu. tiba-tiba ibu keluar dari kamar, ko fida nelpon? lalu diangkatlah, suara bapak-bapak terdengar, ia bilang ia menemukan hapeku di jalan, kalau mau di ambil besok aja dipertigaan inpres, tapi ibu menego, untuk ambil sekarang, bapak itu bilang ia sedang di bukit cengkeh 2 (you’re right google) lagi mangkal di pos satpam, ibu bertanya, bapak jual apa, bubur kacang ijo bu, oh ya udah nanti suami saya ke sana kira-kira 10 menitan ya pak lagi ke masjid, kemudian bapak burkajo OK, telpon ditutup.

Hatiku meletup penuh gembira tapi lebih banyak waspada. Kemudian kami sholat, dan ibuku bilang, ibu ada uang segini, fida juga ada segini, ya udah kasih aja kita hargai kejujurannya kata ibu, iya akupun setuju.

Aku pakai lagi baju yang tadi dipake pas ke SBM, kemudian aku masukkan uang ke amplop, dan ayah datang dari masjid. Kami menuju ke bungkit cengkeh, tapi kami ngga yakin yang mana yang bukit cengkeh 2, aku turun dan tanya ke abang warung.

“ Bang bukit cengkeh 2 yang mana ya?”

“ Oh lurus aja ke sana”

“ Oke  pak makasih ya”

“ Yang mau ambil hape ya?”

“ (hahhh, dalam hati) iya bang”

“ itu teh abang tukang bubur”

“ oh iya iya bang, makasih”

Kemudian aku dan ayah melanjutkan perjalanan selama 1 menitan, dan terlihatlah pos satpam, dan ada bapak-bapak dengan gerobak buburnya. Aku samperin. Bapaknya memberiku hape ku, hape dengan casing biru kulit yang dikatain idad ketinggalan jaman, tapi aman karena kalau jatuh teredam, tapi karena teredam juga itu hape kalau jatoh ngga ada suaranya.

Kemudian aku sodorkan amplop putih, bapaknya bilang ngga usah sambil mundur 1 langkah, aku maju, bapaknya bilang ngga usah sambil mundur sekali lagi, kemudian aku bilang, anggap aja rezeki pak, bapaknya berhenti mundur, dan menerima amplopnya. mengucap terima kasih.

Kami pamit, dan melaju. Masih di atas motor, aku mengecek hape, aman, semua sama seperti terakhir aku melihatnya. Alhamdulillah. Aku senang bahagia lega. I’m over the moon kalau kata orang enggres.

Sampai rumah, ibuku menyambut dengan sukacita, Alhamdulillah, kalau rezeki ngga kemana teh. Akupun sujud syukur, Alhamdulillah atas kembalinya si hape.

Sampai kamar, aku coba-coba lagi fitur google yang tadi, dan ternyata emang hapenya bunyi meski silent, dan posisi hapenya sudah di rumahku. Berfungsi dengan benar memang.

Kemudian aku buka gojek, dan memberi tip ke bapak driver, dan mengucap pak hape saya ketemu, makasi tadi udah ditungguin, dan dalam hati makasih juga pak udah didoain

Kemudian aku buka whatsapp, dan mengirim pesan ke Kak Oci, kak hapeku ketemu, makasih ya ka, ahaha, dan

berakhirlah kisah yang penuh drama, dan mengucek-ngucek emosi

Rezeki aku hapeku masih kembali

Aku berpikir, ini cara Allah ngasih rezeki ke hambaNya, uang yang tadinya cuma buat hedon di mall, bisa sampai ke orang yang bisa jadi lebih membutuhkan. Dan uang itu bahkan tidak sama dengan harga hape yang itu juga dikasi Idad..

Alhamdulillah, sungguh, pelajaran tentang rezeki kali ini sangat mengena,,,
