am I in bed procrastinating sleep? yes did I forget to make this post from the Cathedral anniversary from the beginning of the month? also yes. so you get it now

in regards to my Cathedral Anniversary fic where Icarixis has a breakdown in the worldport when they realized the date, and the grave that the wack glitched in, in the Cave of First Breath the grave had an abstract drawing of the reaver with the blade being a yellow feather instead of being Centross’ normal one and I drew this so long ago and keep forgetting to post it

rant about it and it’s part in the fic under cut

so the idea of it was that 1: Centross died there. it’s his reaver, when they held then gave to Fable when he told them he’d bring him back. He used it to protect them. it was used for other not so good stuff in the past but it’s his

2: it’s Icarus’. it’s their feather. a part of them died in that cave. they also physically started dying from their time there after the Cathedral. Centross died. a part of them and who they were died too

3. it reminds them of Fable’s wings. his wings, when first given to him by Rae, were basically laser lights shining from his back. a light around him. a light in Icarus’ life. but after what happened in the cave, they changed to long, golden blades. and with the yellow feather being a long blade, their mind just went to that.
