Examine: octo-inkling boy ((From octoinkling-charger-boy))

You had no idea who this person was at a distance. You weren’t sure who they were, but for some reason, they had... octopus hair? Were they some sort of beast species you never met before? It was all strange. Still, they were pretty cute, despite that, and you had half a mind to not wonder how they would taste fries and with marinara sauce. That would be rude, after all.

"I'm not hungry..." The young man muttered, leaning into Quint's hand.

He wanted to move on and live for the present, but what his father did just ruined him. Morgan won't recover from this for a long time.

"You don't even know how bad it was... I was born from a test tube, Quint. A test tube. My entire existence was an experiment." Morgan began to sob, the tears falling from his cheeks. "H-he held my mom captive and stole her DNA, mixed it with his and cr-created a freak of nature."

The octoinkling sat up to face Quint, staring at him with teary eyes. "I can't just forget it!"

The octoinkling held on tight, not wanting to let go of the hug. It’s the only form of physical affection he’s felt after all that time. The embrace was so refreshing for him.

Alas, he let go to avoid making things weird. He stepped inside Quint’s apartment and flopped onto the couch, laying down in a fetal position.

“It was awful, Quint… I met my father, but I don’t wanna call him my father after what he did!” Tears formed in Morgan’s eyes. “Now I know why my mom hates him and never talks about him…. Now I know why I exist, and now I wish I didn’t exist!”

“Hey now. Don’t think like that.” Quint joins him on the couch and carefully rests his hand on Morgan’s head. “For what it’s worth, I’m glad you exist. When I thought you had died… I don’t even know. It got to me…” He trembled. “But let’s forget that and focus on the here and now okay? Are you hungry? I have left over shrimp in the kitchen.” 

He was worried about the other male and it was rather obvious. His voice had obvious distress and Quint didn’t like that. He did still care for Morgan after all and really wasn’t keen on seeing those he cared about in this kind of state. It was distressing.
