Nora and Eliot, the two siblings from my earlier project, are evolving! I'm planning a little comic with them, which I uh...need to get to start later today or tomorrow, actually. Around 60 pages are planned, which means I'lll get around 80-90.

I made an oc so I could give nora a name

The only character interaction I have for them so far:

Every Shinki of Tajimamori knows how to make sweets. As Amatsuyu is the newest addition to Tajimamori's clan, she took it upon herself to teach the girl how to make some dango.

Tajimamori, looking at the mishapened dango: My, I've never seen anyone be this bad at shaping balls.

Amatsuyu: (visibly sulking)

Tajimamori: (sees that Amatsuyu is sulking, takes one dango and pops it in her mouth) but it tastes good.

Amatsuyu: you're just saying that to make me feel better.

Tajimamori: (as she is giving back the dango) have you tried it yet? Taste it for yourself.

Amatsuyu: (eats the dango) it doesn't look good though.

Tajimamori: they all look the same once they come out of the other end.

Amatsuyu: you didn't have to point that out.

Tajimamori: I didn't. Did you enjoy the dango?

Amatsuyu: it's a dango, it's nothing special.

Tajimamori: it doesn't have to be special. Did you enjoy it?

Amatsuyu: ... I did. I didn't enjoy making it.

Tajimamori: Get used to it, all my Shinki has to at least know how to make a dango. Otherwise I can't call myself the god of sweets!

Amatsuyu: ...Do I get to eat them?

Tajimamori: you get to eat as much sweets as you like.

Tajimamori keeps Amatsuyu close to her all the time, partly because she is dangerous but also, Amatsuyu is one of the few shinki's she has that is battle appropriate.

I just want her to have a name. Considering how much Kofuku loves Daikoku I felt like it makes sense why Nora wasn't named by her. We understand why Nora is the way she is but we also can't ignore the very real threat that she possesses that she had used against them before.

So I made an oc to give her a name!

I did wonder what name Kofuku might give her lol.

大緋- Haruhi, it uses the clan name (大) and the name Yato gave her (緋)

The downside is, obviously, it's not pronounced with 'dai' I dunno if 'daihi' is an acceptable reading.

The other options I have is literally any other feminine name with (大) that is read 'dai'

well, actually, the orange haired ones are the same person. we did a rule 63 au with our ocs, the lesbian couple is our original ocs that we've had for over six years and the other guys are their gender swap counterparts

i didn't originally say this because tumblr used to have insanely weird opinions about gender swaps, which personally as a young confused/trans person that liked gender swaps, they were super toxic opinions

lately I've been more whatever about it, though, so as not to perpetuate that kinda weird puritanical take that made me feel so bad as a kid, I don't want to make other trans kids feel bad either. everyone experiences their gender fuckery differently. some people hate it and some don't, the ones that hate it need to get over it

and I'm answering this ask so boldly because with all the force fem jokes on tumblr lately and force masc talk that happened casually in the replies of a question I asked earlier, I feel much safer admitting this without fear of being ostracized

A friend of mine suggested she just. Woke up one day, and they were there, which I find hilarious, so.

Anyway it is mostly just an excuse for me to draw tiny chimera pups because they're cute lol. Imagine the shenanigans...

Also, it's specifically Scout over all the other Sev AUs because Scout is an actual adult, and it felt the least weird. Also, extra fluffy babs...

Idk where to begin on a lore drop here, but I’ve drawn these two before! This picture is more symbolic than their literal end. Theirs is the tale of two souls intertwined throughout time:

Nora, as she is here, is on her 2nd reincarnation. The first life ending in fire and an instinctive drive to destroy all that would bring evil upon the world. The second life ending is hurt, betrayal, and love lost. A literal stab to the back by a man she’d fallen for. Her eyes locked onto his each time she died, including this last one.

The first time he ran from her, new to immortality and still fearful of a violent death. The second, he seduced and embraced her, using his knowledge to his advantage and ensuring he’d continue on his already-supernatural lifespan. The third… she held the knife herself… he wouldn’t expect it, but he’d know he’d finally lost, and he’s nothing if not a good sport. 😏
