Teilson is the Skeld’s O2 specialist.

Passionate about plants since a young age, he is both a self taught and studied botanist and cares for them as he would an animal companion.

He is something of a homebody otherwise, knowing basic cooking, cleaning and household tasks- but is a master of none, save one.

He loves knitting and sewing. He often uses this skill to make cosmetic items for his crewmates as gifts.

The youngest on the ship, he is very energetic and often finishes his tasks before anyone else- he uses his extra time to either work on his hobbies or help his crewmates with their tasks.

And last but certainly not least- by boi Teilson.

I love all my beans- but this boi is our starry eyed protagonist.

Young and inexperienced outside a parental household- how will he fair in the great void of space where not everyone is as they seem?

To no one’s surprise: this one came about very fast behind my boy, Kopelli.

My sweet reptilian girl, Fafnir. She’s underwent the fewest changes of my characters, but recently I’ve added a bit more to her patterns and mottling.

Honestly- the more I did these the more I learned that I really do need to play around with my characters a lot more to produce better acquaintance with facial expressions. And I may open a Q&A for them- tell me what you guys think. Thanks for viewing ❤️

“I gotta hand it to em- those two are as slippery as a dodee bird in a thorn hedge.”- Renagade in regards to Vincent and Kopelli.

I decided to try getting to know my characters a bit better, especially since Rena had gone through a redesign- and it kinda turned into a small series of character studies.

despite being the shared oldest of my characters, Renagade for the longest time didn’t have a solid backstory. So much so she felt stunted to me from her personality to her design.

My biffer and I would occasionally joke during convo and RP about her being a cowgirl (her wearing a hat and riding an animal companion). But i always viewed it as a joke. It wasn’t until a mutual on Insta made the same joke and fsr it finally clicked that- maybe it should be more than a joke.

And to my great surprise, everything just CLICKED. Everything I needed to know about her suddenly was clear as day. So joke turned canon- this is Renagade “the Rex Rider”.

So here we have what I think I’m ready to call a finalized design. Though the hat may have a few altered details down the line- as one I’m not great at drawing this kind of hat, and two: kind of a bit sad to say goodby to her old hat :(

Genuinely like how this one came out- breaking my comfort zones and trying my hand at putting in BGs- learned like three things in procreate and went a little nuts.

Need to give my OChildren somewhere to play and run for their lives.

And here’s the baby boi of the group 🥰 Kopelli.

He is one of the youngest members of the group and is the most inquisitive due to his situation prior to meeting Vincent. Once he got out in the world and grew more confident, he began living life the best he can.

In all honesty I could have played more with his outfit- and likely will soon. But Kopelli isn’t much for wardrobes 😆 he prefers things simple- though…. That vest(which again now that I look at it is more than likely to change. Omg-) he wears was given to him as a gift and so he happily wears it.

Making him have more catlike features was definitely a plus(thanks biffer!)- and one thing I’m working on is the fact that he actually has a short layer of fur on his body, and has patterns to go with it (mostly on his back). He has baby spots.

Crewmate Blue, aka Nick, is the Skeld’s janitor, and is very vocal about how much he hates it.

Loud and rambunctious, Nick begrudgingly does his job, but when able likes causing problems for the rest of the crew via stealing important items/papers and planting them amongst other members of the crew, or otherwise just destroying things just enough to make them unusable and in need of repair.

He wanders the Skeld regularly, ignoring his job as often as possible in his growing impatience.

The further the Skeld goes, the more systems seem to be going offline.

This guy was actually inspired by a toxic player I bumped into in Among us- the last interaction I had with him was not only framed him and got him ejected- I legit had the pleasure of kicking him out the server.

I realize that Vincent is technically my middle son- and BOY HOWDY he’s gone through a lot of changes- particularly in the personality department.

Vincent was always set to be a gangster thrown into an insane situation and that did nothing for his mental health nor his ego.

Out of the main group of my characters, Vincent is definitely no angel and would easily sell you for the right price. His luxury had always been his primary vice, living mostly on the streets in Detro, known for its survival of the concrete jungle fittest mentality.

Most of his problems he causes himself.
