I would love to hear more about Uraraka's passive aggressive behavior towards Izuku. I remember seeing one of your posts calling her attitude towards him passive aggressive and I finally felt like my feelings regarding their relationship could actually be described in words.
Hi @lordmommy
I was thinking about how to respond to this question. I hope I found a good way. So, one thing to be in mind here is how Ochako is not only passive-aggressive toward Izu but we are meant to see this as either cute or a joke.
When Izu mutters, Ochako literally looks at him as if he is the monster in a Lovecraftian horror. I heard back and forth about his muttering, and even though I don´t know much about Japan's societal rules, muttering doesn´t exactly seem like THE HORROR.
Ochako looks at him as if he is the horror. Think that for a moment, it´s not cute a supposed love interest (not to say a love interest can´t playful tease the mc here and there, but Ochako doesn´t do that)
Also
Not about Ochako here, but Hori hates Izuku A LOT to say he is the gag character, and BK, the ugliest MF, is handsome. Now, Ochako calls Izu plain...rich as SHE IS THE PLAIN CHARACTER EVER. I´m not being mean here, SHE IS THE PLAINEST MF EVER.
Another thing that bothers me is Ochako calling Izu Deku after BK tried to kill him. Yes, she thought it was dekiru but can´t she read the room? She´s from Kanto and Deku and Dekiru sound similar, but even if bk was screaming Dekiru...HE TRIED TO KILL IZU. (Hori undermines Izu´s pain again bc he has to simp for a PLAIN girl being nice to him. I don´t like Iida either but he was right in that moment when Izu accepted the name Deku from Ochako..."don't you want to think this a bit more?")
(COnsidering Izu does see himself as useless and worthless, Hori hates him. He is the gag. Bk is the main character and SHOCKED Kaachako is not canon)
Suddenly liking Izu is...a problem for her career, nevermind she is in the first year and NEVER stated "no dating with heroes" but Ochako had to distance herself from Izu...bc HER PRECIOUS CAREER.
(She never makes plans for her precious career. If she is so focused in her precious career...why we don't see her not hanging out with friends and working? Oh right...liking Izu IS EMBARRASSING)
In the camp arc, Izu IS SINGLE OUT bc ofc. Ochako doesn´t even try to speak "Hey can he join my team?" NO. Look, not saying she needs to cater to his every whims and needs, but Ochako isn't even a friend to Izu, she leaves him alone and happily enters with her friends.
(Izu saved her ass in the admission entrance, not saying SHE NEEDS TO REWARD HIM FOREVER, but like...come on, she join Sero´s group but didn't even try to speak "Can my friend join?" On that note, I don't get what they were supposed to learn in that arc)
Izuku was damaged after defeating a villain LIKE MUSCULAR. HE IS A GULT TRIP TO SAVE BK and when BK vs Izu happens...Izu is seen by others as a criminal (IDA YOU BITCH YOU WENT TO KILL A MAN, SHUT THE FUC UP) AND OCHAKO AGREES.
Ochako has no desire to know Izuku...BUT SHE IS OK IN BEING TOGA´S BLOOD BANK. OCHAKO IS SAD ABOUT TOGA, AND IZU COMFORTS HER ...OCHAKO CALLS HIM UGLY BC OF THE HAIRCUT HE GAINED THANKS TO SHIG.
She ghosted him for 8 years.
Like Ochako doesn't want to be his friend, let alone girlfriend.
Izu gets more relationship with Mei, Melissa or anyone who isn't Ochako or a girl from A1.

Listen...I detest spinner now thanks to hori's canon. No hate to anyone who likes him and yes you can fix spinner in fics and arts...but to me, I see him as a raving and fanatical fan of shig who ....honestly didn't give a fuck about spinner...it was so oneside.
Spinner hating Izu and calling him murder???
Spinner saying he could have saved shig???
And Izu takes all bc ofc he does ...he is the perfect victim.
This is MHA ...Izu gets nothing but pain and blame. Bk and shoto have fangirls ...Shoto I get it (even if we ignore the whole dabi's situation) but bk?
And Izu is saddle with that superficial bitch ??. (I know people can fix ochako in fics. She is a character...but god canon makes me detest her)
To sum up, spinner is an insane fan who thinks he and shig are besties since day 1 and will write his fanfic about shig meaning he will write his own version of shig...not how the real shig is bc no one knows...and blames Izu for this.
Im tired of this manga.
But it does make me realize how...I can do better. I was feeling a bit insecure about my writing ...it boost my confidence a lil.
Hi @mikeellee , 👋
Not much filled me with anger quite like watching Bakugou get fangirls for existing and being his detestable self - and Izuku getting none.
There's also Spinner venting his rage at Izuku for Shigaraki's death (Izuku, who tried his very best to save Shig). Spinner's rage should be at All For One - not Izuku. So this was pretty rage inducing as well - considering this is in the same chapter Bkg and Todoroki get fangirls, the contrast is jarring. - And a spit in the face for Izuku from Hori once again.
Izuku owes none of the LOV, not even Shig in canon, a damn thing. If Izuku had decided to kill him (which he didn't), he would have been justified because Shig was a country ending threat with decay and AFO who was not gonna back down!
There's also the fact that Spinner is a hypocrite, turning around and calling Shoji a mutant slur when he has apparently been discriminated against himself.
Spinner for the love of God, sit down and shut up.
Also, I suppose that's one good thing to come from the state of MHA's writing now. I'm glad you are feeling proud in your own writing - as you should.

You know I hate Ochako.... superficial bitch! Hori does love to make Izu the joke. But you mentioned Toko and yes, dude is Quirkless and is still a hero....anyone can be a hero but Izu.
As for Shinso....people celebrate this shit? Like, sure he has fans in the fandom but in the story Shinso and A1 are strangers so....why the celebration?!
As for the parents being neglectful...yeah, I agree. There no excuse here. Their kids were sent into a war, why no one throws a fuss about this? No one has anything to say....fuck we see no parents in the damn graduation....where is fucking Inko?
I hope the new character is Kuro or maybe Izu's dad...could be Tenko too as hori loves to pussy out. I hope it's one of the 3 bc if ...this is a new character and "in the future he will be the villain" it ...won't hit well, it will weak.
MHA chapter 425
Iam not really sure how to feel about this chapter. Well I can definitely say that I still think that the entirety of the second war arc especially the last few chapters weren't my favourite and ruined the series for me but we have the power of rewrites on our side so not to worry
So we finally have a 1A member that left. It's surprising that it took a total of 425 chapters for someone to finally leave the hero course. This low-key makes me question if 1A just all has neglectful parents that don't care about them because I think any sane parent would of took their kids out of UA a long time ago and the first war arc should of been a wake up call. Now that yuuga has left it does make me wonder what he will do. I mean he has to continue his education somewhere 🤷♀️
Shinsou joins class 1A and Iam surprised his parents let him. I get that shinsou was due to join the hero course in their second year but like this series sometimes make me question if any of these characters have sane parents because why would you let your kid join in such a dangerous job?!?! Also I respectfully think that shinsou is heavily underdeveloped and didn't get any moment to shine in the war arc. Also there isn't much of a relationship between 1A and shinsou so it does feel a bit off I guess and maybe this is just me but I always thought that he fit in better with 1b
Pacing is hella fast! How are they going back to school already and throwing a graduation ceremony. It hasn't been a week and somehow everything is rebuilt like that, we get little to no information from what they plan to do in the future. We do get a tiny speech but we don't get them starting to do such things and personally I would of at least enjoyed a panel seeing some heroes help rebuild and clean the damage caused. Plus I think everyone can tell that the MHA society is flawed so saying that they want to go back to their old ways seems very iffy to me. I also would of liked an acknowledgement in what actually happen in the war arc but considering that not many people died they weren't gonna do any type of memorial thing or anything.
Is that shigaraki?!?! Or kurogiri?!?!?!? Who is it!!! Iam totally unsure of who it is but I don't think it would make sense if it was shigaraki because he literally died unless hori is actually going along with the plan of separating Tenko and shigaraki and thats not shigaraki but the innocent and crying Tenko type of bs (I absolutely hate this idea tbh) also what happend for tenko to come back as a child I suppose? Or is this someone completely new who has been effected by society and we're supposed to be like well evil is still brewing as society hasn't changed type thing? Maybe it's kurogiri idk I just want to see kurogiri again.
Enji is in a wheelchair (don't really care for him). This makes me question if endy is even a hero anymore and if he ain't who is the number one then? ( I still think they're going by that system because they said they wanna go back to the old ways)
Wait are we gonna see Dabi next chapter!!!!. Enji is facing somewhere with a ton of wires and all so maybe it could be where Dabi is being held at? I mean we don't know if Dabi is dead and we didn't get todoroki talking about it at all
I need Izuku's old hair back!! I miss the fluffy hair and I get that the convo was supposed to be lighthearted and all but I would of enjoyed the pages being used for something else like them actually checking up on eachother. Is tokoyami quirkless? How did they spend their time? Questions like that would of sufficed but I hated Izuku's hair at least he has some people telling him it's cool even if they might be lying
This chapter didn't give us much clarification on much to be honest. Yeah I was expecting this chapter to have huge focus on other villains and characters yet it didn't. I know I have to be patient blah blah but the last two panels of 424 did give us ochako and Todoroki but we got the least focus on them this chapter. I was hoping the villain situations might start to get addressed but I guess that will be next chapter with maybe Tenko making a comeback?
In conclusion, it was ok I didn't expect it to be amazing because it was a chapter that was gonna expand on stuff I didn't like 🤷♀️.

Electric Moment Chapter 3
READ ON AO3
MOTHER POST
--
Momo Yaoyorozu often felt as if her world could only be best described as a frozen pond. A chilling abyss, beneath a thick layer on impenetrable ice that which only hurt to touch with the tips of her bare fingers. If she placed her palm flat open it, pushing in an attempt of escape, her skin would merely stick to its surface.
That is the price she bared. For this life, for this name. She was stuck in an eternal purgatory with no means of crossing over into the other world. This lifestyle was her shackles, her name the chains that bound her to the floor, and sometime there felt as if there were no means of escape. She would cry out, beg, plead, but only in the sanctuary of her own mind.
On the outside she was the tall and recluse daughter of the Yaoyorozu household. Her hair was always neat, nails always manicured, clothes always ironed and pressed, modest and delicate. She was the picturesque definition of elegance and refinement, and it drove her insane with grief. She didn't want this, she'd never wanted this. To play this part, to be this person. She had lost her freedom far before she was even born, and it was hell on earth.
The bathroom overflowed with the sounds of running water, the quiet sir of the near empty lavatory drowning in waves of water as they hit the porcaline basin, bouncing off its surface, striking its edges, before twirling down the drain with ease. A wealthy person privilege, water wastage, what a hypocrite she was, but Momo felt as if it were all she could do in order to conceal the shaking exhales escape her lips, the wheezing of her chest as she tried to swallow down the overwhelming emotions that threatened to explode fourth from within her.
Momo Yaoyorozu's world was a frozen pond, and she was drowning from beneath its surface.
Staring back at herself through the mirror, droplets of water slipping along the contours of her jaw, slipping from her brow and down her cheeks. She blinked, her own reflection distant like the look in her eyes. Her face seemed far less red now, which was an improvement. God forbid that she walk into that hall and people could see her for what she truly was, human, filled with emotions far from those of the rest of them.
"I have to go out there...I have to...they're waiting..." she whispered to only herself, moving to stand straight, adjusting the way her dress sat upon her hips. It was a navy blue, silken and elegant. Perfect for the occasion. She may have even liked it otherwise, if not for the occasion.
Momo took a washcloth from her bag, patting her face dry gently, before replacing it back. Now she would go.
"Okay?" Came the simple question as she made her way out, it's asker moving themselves from their place against the wall by the women's bathroom door.
There he stood, handsome as ever, Shouto Todoroki, her best friend, and her fiancé. Though the later was merely a formality in their eyes. They'd grown up connected at the hip, always finding their own forms of entertaining around various office buildings and meeting halls. When Shouto had come out, she was the first and only one to know. When Momo cried, Shouto was the one to wipe her tears, but not today. She couldn't present herself as weak. She had to be strong, they both did. For each other.
"Mm." She simply hummed in response, reaching to take his hand in hers, twisting their fingers together in a familiar and comfortable fashion. His hair was slicked back, the eyelashes long and endearing. Sometimes she felt like if she could fall for him, even if only in a superficial manor, mixed with her platonic adoration. Maybe she could marry him, but she knew she surely couldn't, "Just wanted to make sure I look my best for my husband-to-be."
Shouto let a small smile appear upon his face, a soft chuckle escaping between his lips, an action so intimate it was only ever really reserved for Momo. God how she paid for the day he would share it with someone far more worthy.
"You don't have to pretend you're happy Mo, we both know this isn't the ideal situation for either of us."
"I..." Momo began, gently crossing the space between them so that she could lie her forehead upon his, "This is fucking awful. What is this really going to do for our future? How are you so calm?"
Shouto hummed softly against her nose, running his hand along a stray hair that fell loosely from Momo's up do, "I don't really mind the idea of spending my life married to you Momo, I wouldn't want it to be anyone else."
"Liar." Momo teased lightly, tears still threatening to fall down her cheeks, "What do you think that boy you're talking to would say to that? What are you going to tell him? 'Hey, I actually am a flaming homosexual and I think you're amazing, but I'd like you tom meet my mess of a wife Momo, how about we have some tea?"
Shouto laughed a little louder this time, hand reaching up to pinch at Momo's cheek, "You're not a mess. Well...your massacre is bu-"
"What?!" Momo panicked instantly, pulling herself back from Shouto's arms, hand hovering over her face in sheer horror. She couldn't walk into their engagement party in such a state. Her parents would never let her hear the end of it.
"Kidding." Shouto teased, a product even more rare, even more hidden from plain view. Momo huffed out a sigh, reaching to slap him hard upon his shoulder.
"God, why do you have to do that?" She groaned out, holding her fist against his chest in a threatening manner, yet after a moment, she simply let it fall, rolling her eyes as she smiled at Shouto lovingly.
"Now c'mon future Mrs Todoroki, we can't keep people waiting."
And just like that, Momo was back to envisioned the pond, but at least for now, she wasn't hitting at it's icy surface alone.
--
When Katsuki awoke that morning, it was to the relentless ringing of his pre-set alarm, which only worked to make him irritated, regardless of it's reasoning. He wasn't sure how he felt really, about joining Electric Moment, about playing his music in front of crowds of people, but he'd made his decision, and today would solidify it. His first practice.
Katsuki pushed himself up from his pillow, lulling his head forward, covers falling from his bare chest to pool around his waist. He held him weight upon the palms of his hands, groaning in response to the morning sun as it trickled in from between his hooded eye lines, slipping between the gaps of his lashes.
"Katsu-chaaaaannnnn, you have to be at the studio by ten, remember?!" Mina's voice pierced through the heavy wood of his bedroom door, her fists colliding with it's surface in rhythm with her words.
"Shut your hole you alien fucker! I'm awake!" He screamed back, head only pounding for a moment longer, before he was pushing himself to his feet, pyjama pants sitting low upon his waist.
Katsuki reached for his phone, pulling it from its charger and staring down at the screen. A bunch of useless notifications, messages from Ochako -begging for his forgiveness most probably, she'd been receiving the silent treatment for days since the Snapchat incident. Katsuki was a private person, she knew that.
Speaking of which, his phone was once again bombarded with a series of Snapchat notifications from none other than the infamous Red Riot, who of which Katsuki had discovered, was one of the members of the band. Supposedly he'd meet him the night they'd rocked up to his performance in Roppongi, but Katsuki hadn't paid much attention to the group, other than the fact that they looked like a bunch of losers.
The guy hadn't given his room to breath since. He wasn't sure exactly why Mina had bothered to ask for it on his behalf, especially seeing the UFO bitch hadn't even bothered to add him herself, but that he really cared. He didn't wanna see anymore of her face than he already had to. Yet, this Red Riot dude was constantly bombarding him with what Katsuki considered to be pointless bullshit. Pointless bullshit that he hadn't bothered to reply to out of a hope that he might get bored and actually fuck off.
Alas, on the daily he seemed to receive snap after snap of random horse shit. A picture of the sky, a picture of the kids goofy face and messy red locks amongst a tussle of pillows and bedding, pictures of random neighbourhood cats, gym shots of what was actually a pretty attractive body, but Katsuki would rather die than ever admit that those thoughts had passed through his mind.
Today it was a couple snaps from the night prior. Short videos of Red Riot and two other people playing video games on a small tv, plus a picture of a messed table of beer cans and debris. Then there was a single snap from this morning. It was a picture of a can of coffee, sat neatly upon a base guitar. So Red Riot was the bassist, huh?
The snap didn't move. Katsuki hadn't met someone that used infinite snaps as much as this guy. However this time it gave him the opportunity to read the caption connected to the picture. The words, "First day back cant wait to work with our gorgeous new guitarist ;) ;)" only managed to process an odd feeling in the based of Katsuki's abdomen that he'd rather not acknowledge.
"Katsuki! C'mon!" Mina's voice broke him from his screen, causing the boy to throw his phone towards his bed, scowling in the direction of the door.
"One more time you extraterrestrial moron and I'll come out and kick your fucking ass!" Katsuki growled back, stalking towards the door.
"Fight me you overgrown valcro strip! I'm not scared!"
Katsuki hisses under his breath, glaring in the direction of the door. Sometimes he scorned himself for ever agreeing to room with Mina Ashido. At the time it had been his only convenience. She was looking at a place with cheap enough rent, close to book stores and cafes so it would be easy enough for him to escape and study nearby if need be. It was two floors about a Family Mart, and reasonably large for something so cheap. They later found out that it so happened to have something to do with a recent tenants death, a large stain hidden under a devilishly large rug being all that now hid the evidence. She was a girl, which was a plus, and she seemed more invested in building a friendship rather than anything else so he wouldn't have to worry about awkward one-sided romance. It worked, even if she was incredibly irritating at times.
He glanced over at his phone, the image of Red Riot's most recent snap, still turning in the back of his eyes as he attempted to process what he was suppose to do with that particular piece of information. He'd sent it to Katsuki directly, and with further inspection, it was a part of his story as well. Why had he felt the need to say something so fucking stupid? Why did he want Katsuki to see it?
Katsuki dragged his bottom lip through his teeth, reaching to grip his phone in his hand, glaring at it fort a short while. It wasn't like it was the first time someone had said something nice about the way he looks. Fuck, he got it all the time. Of course he did, Katsuki knew he was attractive and people would be fucking stupid not to see it.
Yet, it was hardly ever someone he was going to have to interact with on a regular basis. It was always people in bars, sometimes people on campus. It's not like it should bother him, except it did. Except this guy was kind of cute from his pictures and something about this situation left his body warming in an odd fashion.
Well fuck this. If this guy thought he was gorgeous, two could play at this game.
--
Eijiro let a reserved sigh escape his lips, pressing his head back against the wall of the studio, his base sitting neatly in his lap as his eyes wandering over the screen of his phone.
"Hey Eji, wanna stop talking to your boyfriend and actually get some practice in? Midnight's gonna be here any minute." Denki exclaimed from his place upon a small platform, head hanging low off it's edge as he lay on his back.
"Says you bro" the redhead retorted, sticking his tongue out from between his sharpened teeth, "Plus, I'm not talking to him anyways."
"Not opening your snapchats?" Kyoka quarried, stepping towards him, looming over her friend with a teasing smirk, a series of chains and crosses from around her neck, dangling towards his face.
"He is..." Eijiro huffed, peaking up at her from beneath his eyelashes, "He's just not replying to them..."
Kyoka let out a minute, pitied sound, kneeling before Eijiro, blinking her heavily coated eyelashes at him, a long section of studs from the back the back of her boots digging into her tight-clad thighs, "Don't worry Ejirou..." she spoke, placing her hand upon his shoulder, "I still love you. You can have my attention."
Eijiro moaned, throwing his phone to the side, "Why are you lesbians always so mean?"
"Awful generalisation my man." She responded, moving to push herself back into a stance, "Now put your phone away. He's gonna be here soon regardless."
Eijiro only grumbled to himself, his eyes glossing over his base as his fingers moved gracefully along the strings, not quite flicking hard enough to play a note, merely testing the waters. A small notification tone from the direction of his misplaced phone, draws him from his daydream. He slips the device back in hand, eyes widening as he stairs down at it's screen. Surely this couldn't be right. An app glitch, or his over active imagination.
(Snapchat) Katsuki Bakugou 9:56am
Eijiro felt he might choke from the sheer excitement he felt in that very moment. He knew in retrospect it probably wasn't that big of a deal. It was just a snapchat from someone who was now a member of his band, but it was a snapchat he felt as if he had earned from an extending amount of effort.
Letting his fingers slide across the glass of his phone screen, he stared down at the loading snap with a profound intensity. Then it was there, loaded and ready for him to see with his own two eyes, and my god it was beautiful when he did.
It was a simple picture of the other male, the plastic lid of a hot drink pressed against his lips. His eyes were intense, rested behind a large pair of eyeglasses, hair ashy and messed upon his head, but he still appeared put together, which was something that Eijiro could admire. His joy was fleeting however, as the picture only lasted around four seconds before it disappeared forever, leaving Eijiro groaning in disappointment. He despised short snaps. It never gave his brain enough time to process what he was looking at before it was gone completely.
Maybe Bakugou was just shy? That would be kind of cute actually. He did kind of have that air about him. When they'd all met, he never really made eye contact at all, and his over-aggressive responses might have been the result of a complex? He could picture that. Though it would make things difficult for Eijiro himself, who in contrast never shied away from anything or anyone. He'd never been good at understanding how to interact with people that weren't open the way he was. It's part of the reason he and Mina had become lifelong friend's straight from middle school. It had taken him a few months to even get use to Kyoka's quiet demeanour, though now that they were friend's it was hard to get the girl not to interact with him, maybe if he was lucky it would be the same for Bakugou?
--
It was only about another twenty minutes before Bakugou arrived, and by arrived, Eijirou meant shoved. They'd all been sitting around Kyoka, listening to her practice the vocals to one of their songs, Hanta strumming away in time, when a bundle of blond hair and pale blue sweater landed on the floor, directly in front of the door. His loud cries poured throughout the room as he screamed up a storm of profanities, pushing himself to his feet almost as soon as he'd landed.
Normally, for any other group of people, this would have been quite intimidating, but for one, his anger was not directed in their direction, and two, the person who appeared through the doorway next was the person that they all truly feared.
Slipping in after Bakugou came the group's self assigned manager and the scariest person they knew, Nemuri Kayama, otherwise known as Midnight. She managed many of the more popular bands signed to their label, so at the time when they'd been informed that they'd be working under her, they'd been ecstatic. However, then they actually had to start working with her.
Next to someone as seemingly placid as the bands handler, Shouta Aizawa, who's anger only reached it's peak very rarely, though that was a rather terrifying concept in itself, Midnight seemed to live in a perpetual rage. Maybe it had something to do with the stress of the job, or the fact that her outfits always seemed to be far too tight -a lack of blood to the brain can do some pretty intense shit to people. None of them ever really seemed to question it however, instead choosing to just attempt to stay of far on her good side at all times as they good, which Katsuki, having only been introduced into the band a few days ago, arriving at his very first practice, seemed to have not gotten to memo.
"I believe this belongs to you Kyoka-chan?" Midnight stated simply, motioning her hand towards Katsuki as he continued to yell in her direction, but phasing his tantrum out completely.
Kyoka chuckled slightly, moving to step away from her mic stand, slipping herself from the small platform with a little more effort than the other' side usually did, simply because of her short stature.
"Actually ma'am, he belongs to Mina." She explained, pressing her fingers through her bangs.
"Ah." Midnight agreed, side eyeing the angry boy, a smirk pulling upon her lips, "That actually makes a lot of sense."
Bakugou hissed audibly, stripping forward towards Midnight without hesitation, which had ever other person in the room stepping in the opposite direction, faces scrunched up. You never stood against Midnight, they all knew that. Denki knew from experience actually. Kyoka spent about half an hour just attempting to will his knows to stop bleeding while her friend clung to her, crying in her arms.
They all watched in horror as Midnight drew her knee up, the tip over her knee-length boots flying to hit Bakugou directly in the abdomen, sending him flying back, clenching his stomach tightly as his body toppled to the floor.
"Now what did I tell you in the hallway about speaking to me in such a manor?" She growled, stepping towards his crumbled form, "Just because these hooligans chose you, doesn't mean I will keep you around if you don't behave yourself."
Eijiro flinched from beside Hanta as the sole of Midnight's boot ghosted over Bakugou's face, his body instinctively stepping forward, Hanta's hand pressed against his chest stopping him in his tracks.
"Fucking bitch..." Bakugou groaned, pushing himself onto his knees, eyes glaring into the woman as she loomed over him, "Not my fucking fault you! You bumped into me!"
"You spilt cheap coffee over my new dress." She retorted nonchalantly, her finger's digging into her own hips.
"You kicked me in the fucking face!"
"Now we're even." Midnight stated, stepping back from Bakugou, causing Eijirou to go lax against Hanta's palm, "Now go grab your shit from the hallway. I want to hear you play."
--
Watching Bakugou step upon the platform near the instruments, brushing past Eijiro's base with the confidence of someone who knew they already had this in the bag, was one of the most attractive thing's that Eijiro had ever had the pleasure of witnessing. His dusty-blue sweater was cosmetically torn in a few places, sneaking a peak at the skin beneath, his ageing converse almost matching in colour from years of use. He'd removed his glasses, something that Eijiro hadn't minded either way. Her was gorgeous, and Eijirou had to hold himself back just enough that he wouldn't visibly swoon.
Then he began to play, paying no attention to the group before him, not even Midnight who sat higher than the rest upon a stack of cases, watching him with a questioning glare.
The sound of the music thumbed through the small room. No fear of radiating outside the soundproofing that's lined the walls. He played well, holding his guitar loosely as his fingers moved with intent, so naturally that Eijiro began to question if the boy had been playing since his childhood, something that the rest of them hadn't had the pleasure of saying for themselves.
Eijirou couldn't hold back the smile the began to form upon his face, eyes eyes cleaning in adoration. How was a guy this cute, also this good? He continued to smile as Bakugou's eyes drew up for just a moment, meeting Eijiro's, glossing over his face and body, a small smirk pulling onto the blonds lips, before he was looking down again. Eijirou was fucking destroyed. What was that look for? Had it actually been at him?
Kyoka however, appeared even more mesmerised than himself. Her lips were moving silently, cheeks a dusted rose, but not for the same reason that Eijiro's were. He didn't think she was even blinking, too caught up in watching Bakugou play. Then she began to sing, starting off softly, before singing loyd enough for the rest to hear. They turned their heads toward her, but Bakugou didn't stop playing, only continued, eyes pressed shut.
"We gazed into the telescope, hoping to know things we didn't know..." she sang, projecting her voice, her eyes still stuck on Bakugou as she did, "We gazed into the telescope, hoping to know things we didn't know. We looked for those faint glimmers of light that seem to illuminate the darkness and the pain we discovered through this, I still remember to this day, and this comet we call "the present", I'm still chasing alone to this day..."
Midnight's eyes glossed between the pair. From Katsuki who stood sharp upon the stage, playing with the ferocity of a lion in heat, dominating the stage in a way that even alone sent shivers through her body. The she gleamed towards Kyoka, who's voice rang through the room like a choir all her own, lips moving with words she obviously knew. It was outstanding, watching cooperation so natural between a pair that had never worked together before. It was a sound that Midnight never wanted to hear end. Her lips forward yet another smirk as the song rang out, Kyoka's voice going quiet and the playing stopping not long after her singing. Katsuki looked up, meeting his eyes with the younger girls, their intensity fleeting.
"Bump of Chicken..." Kyoka muttered, her cheeks growing warm as she suddenly noticed the gaze of those around her, "They're my favourite..."
"They're alright..." Bakugou replied, rolling his eyes slightly as he pulled the guitar from around his form, "Masukawa, the guitarist...I like his sound..." he said, quieter this time, as if he was embarrassed to even say it.
"And I like yours." Midnight suddenly chimed in, jumping from her place to land smoothly upon her feet, her eyes watching Bakugou like a hawk after it's prey.
"You're in you little idiot. Now you better get your ass working. You shit's have a come back performance planned for two weeks time."

Their studio is in Shibuya, which again is a district in Tokyo. It's one of their bigger ones, and I'm probably going to mention it a bit, because these guys like to spend time there. Especially Kacchan.
Family Mart is a chain of convienience stores, and tbh they're probably my favourite. Waking up in the morning and entering a Family Mart to get a piece of chicken when you're having a bad day will always 110% make it better.
Also Bump of Chicken are a japanese rock band. Their music is some of my favourite stuff ever, so you should definitely check them out if you have the time! The song I used was Tentai Kansoku, from their 2002 album Jupiter.

Hi @mikeellee
Do you remember the confession Toga did to Izuku during the final War
And how Hori wrote in plain text that Izuku was a loser who couldn't belive a cute girl was confessing to him
It genuinely surprised me that Hori wrote that in, it's like he wrote that for readers who didn't see Izuku as a loser.
Hi @kite2013
Funny you mentioned that bc in the twitter, in the era of the dark Izu arc, people did found Izu cool...one person even make a post how Izu is cool now...
And then ...Toga´s confession happens and Izu tells his dream date, which btw, is the cutest thing ever...and BOOM...Izu is a loser. IzuOcha shippers joking how Ochako falls for his cringe ass...How Toga went sappho after such cringe response.
THERE´S NOTHING CRINGE IN HIS ANSWER...WTF.
Wish Toga accepted that as his dream date (no ochako) bc well...how would that be cringe if the "yandere" girl thinks is cute and wants to help him now.
Ochako? Fuck her.

Hi Mikellee
Can you remember if Izuku mentioned anything about Shig when he was comforting Ochako?
Because if he did, then that may be why Hori had Class 1A interrupt them
I feel that Ochako might have asked Izuku about how feels about killing Izuku. Even though it might be a stretch, since Shoto never even asks Izuku about this.
Hi @kite2013
No. I don't think Izu mentioned shig to anyone (maybe spinner to deliver that line and that lizard responded by trying to kill him)
Ochako made that scene all about her...A1 comforted her, never once asking why she was upset.
And no one talked Izu.

Both are odds in the best way.
Ochako only remembers she has a crush on Izu once Izu has a way to be a hero again. It may not be intentional but it makes her come cross bad. Superficial bitch.
In light of the last ask I got, it's so interesting that now Izuku is getting hate. Because when he was a blank prop who worshipped Bakugou at every turn, that was fine. When he didn't show a hint of malice against Bakugou, that was defended as him just not holding a grudge. But now that he's exercising agency against his abuser as a conscious adult who's (presumably) had time to come to terms with his trauma, y'all are mad?
Bakugou stans and BakuDeku shippers never cared about Izuku. They only cared about how he could make Bakugou look better. Now that he isn't doing that anymore, he's being thrown out like garbage

I love Ochako but for some reason it rubbed me the wrong way when she just didn't interact with Izuku after the war and just dismissed him by telling him to 'get a haircut'. And people defending by saying that Ochako and Shoto aren't obligated to talk to Izuku because they have their own problems to deal with - yeah okay, but guess who came to console Ochako when she was breaking down and crying over Toga? Izuku!!
I don't know I just wish we could have had her saying something to comfort him as well cause he's been through a lot too.
Hi @izubun-
Let me just say that in MHA the main thing here is to make sure Izu feels like shit, always. He is Rei Himura but few fans give a shit about her and less so about Izu.
Ochako can dismiss Izu and be a superficial bitch( I know you like her, and I'm trying to be respectful but like that last comment of her os awful) who can be comfort by everyone else but she and everyone else don't need to care for Izu's feelings.
Shoto is like that too. He trauma dump Izu(smth Izu could have seen as a manipulation to let him win, guys, he never interacted with Shoto before...that came out nowhere) and never apologized.
Shoto did help him in the stain arc (the only one who shows up when Izu asked for help and notice how Ochako didn't apologize for that either)
But after that....nothing else.
When Izu was house arrest, Iida ( a boy who wanted to commit murder) treated Izu as if he is in the wrong, Ochako goes along. No one even thought in ask Izu what happened.
Izu has no friends, never had and never will.
When he lost his quirk...he lost its useful for the others and they drop him. The whole "secretly everyone was co funding an armour for Izu for 8 years" is the biggest bs I ever seen, more than bk resurrection.

Regarding the ending of MHA...it's was how I imagined, not that I predicted with clarity, it's just...ofc Izu has no friends, no family and is a perpetual child ...to go with how useless and weak Hori always made him to be and always sees him as.
This is supposed to be a mf adult who has job, instead he looks like a teen, perpetually and was out of the hero ranking until BK and am chip in to give him a iron suit ...smth in delay for 8 years.
Only them the "friends" greet Izu.
Izu has no friends.
Ochako is a superficial bitch!
And yeah I predicted the ending would be this bad but thought we would get adult Izu.
Ofc Izu has no respect, no friends (I think am was out of his life too, it's the vibe it gave me) Aiza calls him to say how Shoto and BK are doing much better than him and he gets a pity rankings number.
Ofc Izu would mumble about quirk and the eternal joke "isn't that creepy?!" With a kid who has a useless quirk.
It's mean spirit as fuck
But "the LoV is dead that is the tragedy"
Hori is pleased. You guys don't care for Izu, he won.
Hope he doesn't write again for a long time.

Hi, I was wondering about shoto Todoroki before going to be so this may sound a bit nonsense but ...did Shoto really changed or the narrative tricked us?
I want to preface I have no beef with Shoto, this is not a Shoto slander nor hate. I'm curious bc his storyline could have been great haven't be allowed to be.
My thing with Shoto is...his big changing moment is when Izu said "it's your power, bit his" and cool moment, Shoto used his fire and won. I have grievances on how Izu sacrificed a win (I admit I don't think he could have won against Shoto nor BK should but moving on) and got...nothing. Look, not saying Izu should be reward for every little thing but after that moment we could have got a Shoto and Izu friendship (to justify why the fuck Shoto would give his backstory to a complete stranger. Srsly he and Izu were non entities prior the moment)
And yes, Shoto get brownie points for helping Izu in the stain arc. That was nice of him - it set him apart from class A1 who ignored his calls/message "ah but his message was a mess" maybe so but no one shows concern for him! Izu is not someone who cries wolf. Plus they were in patrol.
But ...after that, it seems the character didn't change. He still wants to be a hero. I wouldn't understand if Shoto couldn't stop being hero bc of his father...bc he fears him, let's be real Shoto was a minor and Endy is violent and powerful enough to make his life awful if Shoto decides to be anything else...very convenient shoto wants to be a hero.
In the license arc, Shoto didn't get the license. We do attribute this to Inasa being an entitled fan...but is that just this? Does Shoto helped the others? Acted like a hero? I still remember moments of that anime and in this arc I don't remember Shoto being a team player...I could misremember here.
He makes no friendship, certainly not with Izu. I would argue he befriend BK and that is a Freudian slip - yes, let's blame hori and this is correct as Shoto should hate BK since he hates his father.
There a oneshot to explain the movie "Izu you are a mass murder" where Shoto looks amazed at BK destroying smth of Izu. As if Endy never did smth similar to him in the past which for sure happened.
Its just ...I don't think Shoto changed or had to change.
Izu ...sort change...for worse. He started the story thinking he is worthless. Ended thinking he is a loser- he voiced that, canon. And can only be a hero if someone, his lifelong abuser, handed him a magical suit. Its something so sad bc it fits perfectly on the whole "character hallucinate everything you see in the story"
Something @thr0wnawayy mentioned about Izuku's delusion stuck with me bc...it makes sense.
Not sure why I'm talking about shoto. You could argue many characters didn't change or got worse.
Ochako now is a superficial bitch. Even if hori makes Izuocha canon with kids and marriage ...he will still write Ochako being passive aggressive with Izu, people will joke the kids aren't his - cucko Izu was big and while decreased, it never stopped.
Class A1 is how a bunch of fake friends who only call Izu when they need something. Izu just accepts this is his life.
We read this manga expecting him to be a great hero...and we have this "happy ending" where it would be kinder if Izuku had died along side Shig.
That...makes me think. A lot.
Tô any novice writers reading this...you can fall in love with a character, you can fall out of love with a character but be professional. Think of the story and...don't be a Hori.

There more. his so called friend open agencies and whatnot and...kept no contact with Izu. Fuck that perpetual child.
Am and BK chip in to help Izu get a iron suit that took 8 years to be ready. Only then Shoto smile at him.
Also ...it's not clear if Izuocha is canon. In my heart, it isn't bc Ochako is a superficial bitch.
Midoriya never telling anyone about what Todoroki said to him before their fight really bothers me. How do you want to be a hero and save people and not think that your friend needs saving from the super abusive situation he lives in at home? I know Midoriya has problems with authorities and trusting people, especially teachers and adults in general, but he also trusts his mum and he should have spoken to her, and she could have bridged the gap between him, Todoroki and the school. Inko would never leave that child in the hands of a bloke who bought his wife and thinks his children are toy soldiers that he can break because he can just make another one.

You know? If Izuku was written by someone else, he would've EASILY become a villain.
I mean, he got all those scars, lost his arms, and lost his powers. and for what cost? Just to be forsaken, ignored and used as everyone's meat shield, scapegoat and punching bag?
He literally has a lot of reasons to hate heroes and hero students. especially since no one cares about him until he becomes their patsy/fanboy.
I mean if someone else wrote Izu...we would get a very different Izu for sure and as well world.
He could be a great hero and grow confidence and a support system who truly helps him.
Fuck Ochako wouldn't be a superficial bitch.
Shoto wouldn't trauma dump on him and left
Nor Iida would call him criminal.
It's all about the intention.

Send ask again, I guess. The name deku is a dark joke and fewer people get it (is it a dark joke if fewer people get it?) izu is mistreated bc he exists (I know people attempt to justify as "quirkless discrimination" but honestly, it feel as if is to ease up bk's crime. We never saw any quirklees be treated as izu is and....you know, he is openly mistreated once he got a quirk) and....the name deku is attached to him.
He goes to UA and...the name stays but Izu let's bc Ochako (superficial bitch) says it's cool. I do wonder if she did on purpose. Maybe you will say no and how I'm being unfair to Ochako (yeah it's easy for me to hate her) and I know deku and dekiru sound phonetically similar...so I give her some slack but....she doesn't know what deku means? BK was barking the word with hostility ....did she really thought it was a praise?
Izu is the deku.
Shig is the dark deku
Izu is the perfect victim
Shig is the bad vicitm.
The joke here is how....Izu is still shit on by the fandom while people hauls shig a better writing character bc.... SHIRTLESS!
Hi 👋 @mikeellee
In Hori's canon, Izu is mistreated because he exists. Quirkless Discrimination as a concept is used by some to excuse Bkg (ew) however I personally like it to 1) add world building and 2) why else would anyone be so cruel to Izu who is such a kind kid? Just why? It logically doesn't make sense.
Later, Ochako hears Bkg barking the word "Deku" like a rabid angry dog and thinks, "Ah! Deku! That's a nice nickname just like Dekiru..." maybe she thinks Bkg just has issues (he does) that is why he is always is the embodiment of this face (😬) while shouting pure trash? I don't know.
But she's corrected. Izuku tells her this name means useless and is actually "deku" along with the history around it then reassures her its ok to not lose his new friend and she just goes "oh OK!" And then calls him that forevermore...
Something about that (for a supposedly sweet intuitive character) doesn't feel right.
In Hori's narrative Izu and Shigs fight turned into Good Deku vs Bad Deku, Good victim vs Bad Victim and I hated it so so much.

MHA can be officially label "anyone can be a hero but Izu" already? Bc like the manga is following a theme where Izu is the joke....his pain is a joke....everyone in the fandom and the story treats him so poorly. Ochako's latest comment makes me made (I call her superficial bitch. I'm aware as I writer I can change her, but honestly. Why? She has nothing interesting to want to salvage. She is not a good friend to Izu. Izu has no friends)
Watch as the next episode will have more bs
"the next big hero is a quirkless hero...and is not izu"
"izu is kicked out of ua bc yes"
Fuck there so many ways Hori can make his life awful....izu already thinks he is worthless. The rest is details.

Izuku getting cuck is really trending? ouch. it didn't even stop there, some have him getting cucked in exchange for a suit and let someone have his mom for the suit. sheesh
Hi @mega321boom
Actually, if you think about it Izu is shrouder in NRT feelings. For example, Ochako suddenly is Toga´s girl and will do anything for her, while YES, they never kissed or make out, its a stark contrast on how she treats Izu.
Then we get the ending where, yes, she is not making out with Bk but she has time and money for anything else...but Izu...there´s a mem about how Bk is grabbing her butt and she didn´t mind at all. There´s no confirmation they are a couple.
Good, bc Izu doesn´t deserve this superficial bitch;
To clean the mind...Izumei is the best ship.
An Adult looking Izu (srsly, saw a Brazilian Youtuber talking about the ending, giving good takes as usual, and even dhow fanarts of adult Izu that are superior to what Hori did) with adult Mei? Superior couple.
Ochako? Has no one...she is weeping forever for Toga.

Wanna know smth funnier? Many writers make their characters face horrible things....and while can't deny hori hates Izu and mistreated him...he never is over the top, or too obvious, yes he made IZU lost his arms and....quick made him grow new ones.
There are characters who get disabled for good.
Ochako is a superficial bitch and will be his gf. I hate her and this relationship
But some authors would make the oc date someone ...only to be cheated on.
My point is...either hori was reels on by the editors or he is that incompetent to even show hate to Izu as he wanted
I'm honestly appalled at the ending of this manga.
It's so mean-spirited of Horikoshi to drill it into the narrative that Izuku can't be a hero without a Quirk, and when he does have a Quirk, he's only a liability with it so he should just give up. Then for him to take that Quirk away from him when that's all he ever wanted is just a slap in the face to Izuku and what little character development he had.
Not only that, but for how much 1A is supposedly close to one another, they sure were quick to forget about Aoyama when discount Goob replaced him. He's been nothing but an asshole to them, so why are they so excited to see him?
Why can't the adults get off of their asses and be the primary ones helping with rebuilding? Why rope the second years into it? Furthermore, why the fuck are they having school so soon after a near apocalyptic war?
Also, I love how Bakugou is supposedly praised for his "effort" when all he did was nearly get himself killed because AS USUAL, he charged ahead without a plan, and just waited for AFO to rewind out of existence. Meanwhile, Izuku's just left by himself with All Might, because God fucking forbid anybody actually give Izuku the time of day for the right reasons.
Bakugou can go fuck himself for making Izuku's Quirklessness about himself and their "rIvAlRy", and Horikoshi can go fuck himself for making Izuku's attitude towards losing the thing he dreamed of having for 12 years: 🤷.
PS: So much for Aizawa's "apology" towards Izuku meaning anything. All he said was sorry, used Izuku's first name without earning the privilege, and then onto the next scene.
Hi @nutzgunray-lvt 👋
You and me both.
Hori hates Izuku. It is as plain a fact as the sky being blue at this point. It is intensely mean to have Izuku suffer for being quirkless (especially at the hands of Bkg*), gain OFA and work so hard with it only to lose it by the end of the story and then Hori doesn't allow Izu to have any form of upset about this. Instead, he is forced to comfort BAKUGOU about this*- the same Bakugou who calls him Deku (useless) for being quirkless! The same Bakugou who abused him for a decade largely for this!?! What the fuck is this Hori? Get boo-hoo'ing Bak-U-Go out the damn door! Focus on Izuku for once! This is traumatising! Let Izuku actually feel it instead of being puppeteered to make Bkg look good!
This is one of the reasons Izuku feels kind of flat now (I hate to say it as an Izuku fan but he doesn't react in a way that makes sense and we haven't seen in his head in so long...)
I don't buy "Class 1A is a Family," not after they chased down Izuku in the Dark Deku arc and certainly not now. Look at how easily they let Aoyama go! No crying or anything? Like wow...
And for Shinsou? Who has canonically only been an asshole to all of 1A this whole time? And no one has a problem with him or is gutted about Aoyama leaving? Nah... that's some B.S. right there.
To add Ochaco, making fun of Izuku's new hair and saying not to talk to her with that hair was in very poor taste. They were all in a WAR, Izuku didn't just have poor luck with barbers. She comes off like a bitch here not gonna lie...
Having school so soon after a whole WAR and floating UA occurring is so unrealistic... 😑 The fact that students are helping proves the school shouldn't be open yet. But Nedzu gives no shit - who is one of Japan's smartest beings, apparently...
Bakugou being praised for his "effort" over Izuku is simply laughable but sadly nothing new.
Aizawa's "apology" was hollow, simply an item on the checklist for Hori, and it shows. Also, using Izuku's first name was OOC for him and rude for him to use without asking.
In addition, we have seen the Bakugou's, but where is Inko? Hori gives no shit to her, clearly. At least she isn't there for Izuku to be forced to comfort alongside Bakugou - about a traumatic thing that happened to HIM! What is this mess Hori?!
