" oh you're a person too ! " silence, and shuuzou flips over, tail twisting, " I haven't seen anyone glow like this besides myself. " and even then, he doesn't always glow. he leans forward, " thats so cool. " mere seconds before he's shocked when he touches fins. he falters, sinks a bit in the water,and sees stars. when vision finally focuses again, " ow okay. no touching. sorry, sorry. I'm shuu, who are you ? "/ oceanverse uwu

makoto notices the other before he's seen, simply choosing to hide away instead of coming out, fearing that it'll be more of the same. trying to avoid this, makoto swims towards the rocks, lowering himself and dimming himself as to not be noticed / a failed effort as the other person begins swimming over. he speaks and makoto blinks at him, slowly pushing himself further behind rock before he's followed more and makoto comes out from the other side, staring at the new person, head tilted. new person -- creature -- shuuzou, he calls himself, touches his fin just as makoto tries shying away, only for makoto to shock him before he shifts to sit atop the rock. again, makoto tilts his head, watching shuuzou recollects himself, only tilting his head the opposite way in response.

kazuya lingers near tatsuya, watching the other two. fingers gently runs over tentacle, careful to not let his nails scratch and he heaves out a slow breath, " you killed for him and he still didn't say anything? " oddly enough, he shares such an experience, not that he thinks to bring it up. " ... does that mean we're special or something? "

enkai shakes his head, eyes closing when enyo turns to look at him, ignoring all gazes. " i didn't know how to speak that well, then. and i didn't really want to. " not to mention generally speaking, he was still spooked by outsiders. " but i trusted you before i told you my name. " he pauses, slowly rolling off of shuuzou to settle beside him, now looking towards kazuya and tatsuya. " i trusted them so quickly because i trust you. "

@sociieties asked: enyo is pouting, which makes enkai frown and kazuya asks him what the issue is. enkai likes kazuya and tatsuya more than enyo, is the issue, apparently and this is news to enkai. " no...? " enkai is confused and even a bit offended. curious of how this conclusion was made, he swims over to enyo, flipping over to lean his back atop enyo's, head tilted as he looks upwards. " i don't know what you're talking about; i like you more than i like them. "

he likes this rock, arms wrapped the base as rock is cool against abdomen and he's been thinking. he's specifically been thinking about enkai and how he talked so much sooner around kazuya and tatsuya than he did him -- and sure, enkai had been bullied at that point and was hurt -- but. he's pulled out of his thoughts when he's asked what's wrong, and he mutters that enkai likes them better than him. it makes sense. why else would enkai warm up to them quicker than he warmed up to shuuzou ? soon there's pressure on his back, little shocks traveling down and enyo shivers as he picks his head up, twisting uncomfortable to look at the other. he huffs, " you talked to them quicker than you talked to me. " he points out, " you didn't trust me for a long time. i killed others and still didn't get your name for a lot of big moons after that. they come around and you warm up to them so easily. "

@peachmuses: he's exploring ! swimming along. that's all. he thinks about his friend-not-friend, enkai, only to spot electric currents sparking and he's flipping himself around to look, to see a pod of dolphins going at him. shuuzou rockets forward, wrapping enkai around in his vibrantly flashing red tail, and snarls at the pod.

he should be used to this, and yet -- they're his friends, at it again. it's the same as usual, something that started off as mild play, the dolphins circling him as he wanders back home, stopped by the others as they call him what they usually do and enkai's not surprised when things escalate. what does surprise him is when the attacks stop and there's something wrapping around him / he blinks and it's enyo. ------ enyo? and he's upset, it seems, but enkai's focus only shifts down towards enyo's tail, briefly noting the new color and how heat seems to be coming off of it. ( still, enkai instinctively shocks his enyo when he's touched in all the confusion, and he thinks nothing of it. ) enyo's snarling at the others, who again begin circling the two of them.

" what? " one of them goes on to say, teasing as he come to a stop, leaning in before he rocks back, head tilting left to right, eyes on the newcomer. " don't tell me he's your kill... back off. "
