I've ultimately settled on the name "vehementi"

I decided to make a fallout caesers legion oc because I wanted to make an oc which was completely irredeemable. he'd probably be one of the legion's assassins, I'm thinking...

any name suggestions for this motherfucker?

“Stag” - a very rough draft of a fill for the Phoenix Wright kink meme (this is the most recent thing that I've started)

the beginnings of the 4th and 5th installments of “In the Grey of the Morning” (sitting at approx 100 and 250 words, respectively)

ch 22 of “From a Shell” (currently about 40% finished, as it has been since late November)

ch 4 of “Legacy” (still only have 4 sentences written down even though i know exactly what needs to happen in the chapter)

COMPLETELY EMPTY documents for the next chapters of at least 5 different multichap fics which I have not touched in years

ch 11 of “Lukewarm Rain” (currently sitting at approx 90 words.... I don’t really write for HP anymore but might go back and finish this one sometime)

ch 4 of “Mother of Little Bears” (sitting at approx 90 words, as it has been since shortly after the 3rd chapter was posted)

random unframed dialogue exchange that i’m not sure what i’m doing with (Castlevania, approx 90 words, vampire generals discussing why sleeping with Carmilla is a bad idea)

this was going to be a whooole comic of one of vehementi’s night terrors (specifically the one where caesar “wakes him up” then strangles him) but i gave up on the second page- this is the first. maybe one day i will finish it !

2. Can they take care of a plant? What about a pet? What about a child?

- I feel like he /might/ be able to ! maybe only a plant though... this poor man has a habit of pushing people away- cant even hold a solid companion... he ended up telling boone to leave :( I don't think he would be good with taking care of any other living beings. he feels lonely very easily when hes in the presence of another person

14. Would they agree with the term ‘guilty pleasure’? Do they have any?

- i think vehementi would say the exact words of "its not a guilty pleasure if im not guilty about being pleasured" HFSNFJD also he loves sugar bombs <3 and irradiated food, for some reason?? its probably the added sense of danger, dude is a huge adrenaline junkie & will take anything, even if its mild radiation

22. Do they like being called pet names? Do they call other people pet names? What’s their go-to?

- ira LOVES pet names !! they make him melt. almost every person in the legion calls him "dear ira" (note that in nv, he insists everyone calls him "vehementi", he doesnt like anyone using his first name). they only started calling him that after he was accepted into the legion. im sure some ppl in the legion even have specialized pet names for him but who knows ! (pet names are also a weird way of keeping him. obedient i guess??? at this point "dear ira" has become/been used as a casual positive conditioning method in the legion for him oof) EDIT: adding on to other side- ira probably isn't one for calling ppl pet names unless they're VERY close- ira calls vulpas "foxi" for example LOL

29. What recurring dreams do they have?

- Ok buckle up, this subject means a lot to me. just last night i had a recurring nightmare and i love giving my oc's self-indulgent sleep issues + dreams JKSNFJ firstly, i imagine that in each dream ira has, he dies in some shape or form by the end

dream 1: vehementi will be standing at the bottom of hoover dam, it seems to be empty at first. he stares up at the top as the water starts gushing down, and at the same time he sees the NCR and the legion at the top of the dam, staring down at him, unmoving. the water keeps gushing- the only difference in these dreams are sometimes ira drowns from the water gushing down immediately, but in some it has the fill up and he drowns from the amount of the water. any way it ends, both the legion & the NCR are staring down at him, watching him die

dream 2: in one of his dreams (its short but repeats over and over back to back) he’s sleeping and caesar will come up to him, flip him onto his back and puts his hands around ira’s throat, suffocating him while repeating “dear sweet emil, my dear sweet emil”. this nightmare ends with vehementi’s death and will repeat multiple times, around 4-5. this one sometimes causes ira to wake up bolted up & gasping... its more of a night terror tbh- hes always convinced hes being suffocated by caesar when he wakes up from the nightmare, even if hes no where near the legion

dream 3: ira will be in an open field, reletively grassy, sitting under a single tree. the sky is grey & cloudy, like theres about to be a storm, but its just very windy and never ends up turning into an actual storm/even rains. theres a person standing in front of him that he doesnt know or recognize (its always the same person each time) saying something to him, but theres no words coming from their mouth/its completely silent. it looks like theyre speaking normally but theyre on mute. ira normally wakes up in a cold sweat from the dream, always forgetting the last part; last thing is the person in the middle of “speaking”

omg omg I have no idea which ones u saw but. I have a /lot/ of ocs so I'm just gonna throw a bunch of oc lore @ u jfjdng in order of some recent oc art !!!

- tragedy: belongs to my story, boreastillae, and is a homicide investigator possessed by a demon. the demons name is "comedy"!

- ira vehementi: he's a fallout oc! "died" around the same time as courier six, since the legion was around at the time & vehementi got shot by a stray bullet. he's a legionarie assassin who was brought in as a slave of caeser's legion but kinda developed stockholm syndrome & proved himself worthy of joining the legion. he has brain damage from the stray bullet now & has forgotten the legion. I could go on & on abt his lil journey !!

- clyde daniels: belongs to my story, boreastillae, and is also apart of the detective agency ! he's a wight undead, being brutally murdered by a serial killer he was chasing due to some impulsive actions on his part. thankfully he made a deal with a "devil" at some train tracks awhile before his murder and his death got in the way of the plans of this devil <3 yay revival

- corbin blackburn: he's a pathfinder 2e character !! he's a goblin tiefling sorcerer/investigator who's a true neutral alignment. he's an occultist librarian & only cares about his work above all else. and his adopted bird son named fech :)

- candi: an elder scrolls oblivion oc! tbh I saw how the goblins in oblivion felt kinda anti-semitic so I just wanted to design a cute goblin as an oblivion oc out of spite LOL but I truly do love him !! he lives in the Shivering isles, specifically around in mania and I like to think he writes sheogorath love letters & loves to eat paper <3 no real reason either just mmm paper

- keith & himari: just some lil guys for a story I'm making !!! I've been making it for years :) it's about the deep & dark web and takes place in japan. I don't wanna get too into it bcuz it's a passion project but keith is one of the main antagonists & himari is one of the protags

some lil headcanons for my own oc, rob hernández:

- first language is spanish, having been born & raised in mexico

- always wanted to be able to help with supernatural/evil entities and feels very privileged that he was mandated to preform exorcisms

- he's a bit dense & has a huge flaw of ignoring anything supernatural that might be happening with his close ones, unless they come to him about it. it's something he'd rather repress unless faced directly with the idea of it

- elaborating on the close ones hc, rob definitely takes notes of suspicious activity in people! but he's more inclined to shrug things off when it comes to those close to him

- rob is very dedicated to his religion (catholicism) but also understands & even disdains it's flaws and part in colonialism

- rob will wear steel-toed combat shoes wherever he goes! however, there isn't actually steel in it, instead it has sterling silver :) he wears pants & a priest's shirt on jobs like vampire hunting & prefers his robes while chilling in his local church but he ALWAYS wears his combat boots

- nobody would ever know his combat boots have anything in the toes because it's hidden underneath material (though some people who assume steel). the silver hidden in there is for kicking a werewolf in a dangerous situation and it's saved his life more than once

- had a fellow priest in training carve the jerusalem cross into the top of his right hand. to this day, rob isn't sure why he allowed that man to do that to him, since rob didn't know much about the cross at the time & just trusted it was a symbol of protection. he now has a scar of it on his hand

- rob refuses to invite anybody to his church, claiming he doesn't want to force anyone in who isn't comfortable with it. fun fact it's actually a self precaution he has in place to keep vampires from coming in
