Fun facts!

-Adriana and Luciano are actually OCs that I had for G Gundam, with Adriana representing Ecuador and Luciano being the new Italian fighter. On her off time, Adriana is a DJ and her music inspires fighters. In the massive RP I had with Hunter, she and Lacus have collaborated together multiple times. Luciano, in RP canon, is half shadow beast and adopted son of Marciano, Dark's shadow beast. So he's kinda unofficially her adopted kid. -Kreine and Echo are considered opposites, so I had a little nod to that with their clothing of choice. -Xoah is very much an otaku, but she really enjoys magical girls.

I’m gonna say this because it needs to be said...

NOT ALL VICTIMS WANT THEIR ABUSER DEAD.

First of all this narrative that all victims need to hurt or destroy their abuser in order to move on is so outdated and puts pressure on abuse victims.

And second Caleb has come a VERY long way but I always felt and it seems Liam feels the same way, that Caleb is still not mentally ready to face his abuser in combat. He still doesn’t want to face him after all this time and THAT’S OKAY.

One day he may be ready to face icky-thong but for now he’s not ready and I think that’s very realistic role playing that I respect.

🏠 Do they have a home base? What is it like? How much time do they spend there?   

Tin Lizzy

Her house in Megaton is her little base of operations after she leaves the Vault. The place is pretty barren when she first gets it. With Moira’s help she moves some furniture into it, and over time it’s slowly filled with knick nacks and various decorations she finds in her travels. There’s her teddy bear collection and several weird souvenirs she hauls out of the museums, plus, of course, bobbleheads. It’s also an impromptu crash pad for people close to her who bring their own touches to it - Charon’s got a makeshift armory going on and Butch tends to stash all the comic books he’s read there. Lizzy makes a point of hoofin’ it back to Megaton at least a couple of times a month if she’s able and spends a few days decompressing there. As time goes by, it’s the one place she feels comfortable having a really good cry.

After the Brotherhood’s change of leadership and the shifting political scene she ends up leaving the house to Butch and moving into a clinic in the deeper Wasteland. It’s not the same. :(

Carmen

Leading up to the battle of the Dam, the Lucky 38 is her home base after she deals with House. She’s not fond of it and finds the place eerie, but it’s the one guaranteed safe place in the Mojave and that counts for a lot. While she doesn’t do much to make it homey, her traveling companions are a little more sentimental. Cass gets a liquor bottle collection going, Veronica likes to build little scrap metal figures in her spare time, and Arcade has potted plants for ‘research’ - and also to help the place feel less dead and creepy.

After leaving the Mojave, she ends up buying Home Plate with the funds from dealing with the Latimer drug deal. It’s somewhat homier than the Lucky 38 - mostly thanks to the previous resident - but as before, any sentimentality is thanks to the people she knows. As Shaun grows older he makes a little experimental lab and crash pad in the workshop area of the house when he wants to escape the side-eyes at Mercer.

Eleanora

Before meeting the Railroad, Nora was too busy trying to track down her son to bother with a base at all. After starting her work with them, HQ is her go to place to rest and recover until she’s asked to set up Mercer Safehouse.

Mercer’s located in what was once Hangman’s Alley, the apartment buildings flanking it opened up and the livable parts turned into living spaces. She and Deacon turned the top floor of the building facing the river into their own home base. It’s filled to the brim with whatever struck their interest - books, weird furniture, mannequins dressed in outfits they like, paintings they’ve pilfered, potted plants. It’s very eclectically decorated. Once Shaun comes onto the scene he turns the attic into his room - though as he grows into a teenager (and a younger sibling comes onto the scene) he surrenders it and starts to hang around Diamond City more.

Tin Lizzy

Three Dog’s got a monopoly, and he’s lucky he’s charismatic enough to make up for giving Lizzy the run around when she was looking for her dad. Dear Hearts and Gentle People will make her bawl like a baby when she hears it, but A Wonderful Guy is her favorite.

Special mention to the piano instrumental of Just One of Those Things that plays in the Vault - sometimes James would sing the lyrics to it when she was younger. Usually he sang it with the big band cheeriness, but sometimes he sang it sadly and she felt like it was the closest she could get to knowing her mother.

My Favorite Voice Actors

I’ve been wanting to make a list of all my favorite voice actors for a while now.

I’ll be listing them all in no particular order along with pictures of my favorite characters they voice. Keep in mind I am listing my personal favorite roles of theirs, not their “biggest” roles. Some characters are original characters I created as they were made in a game featuring a create-a-character. My favorites sometimes shift a bit as I hear new voice talent, but this list is mostly all my staple favorites.

The big one, the guy that got me interested in learning about voice actors. First heard him in Saints Row: The Third as my player character and have loved him in every role ever since!

Funny how I discovered him. Heard him first as the replacement for Troy Baker’s roles of Yamato and Pain in Naruto. At first I was like, I miss Troy Baker, but then I realized how amazingly talented Matt Mercer is! Absolutely love this guy, one of my top favorites!

Another of my favorite male VAs. Really happy to have him as the English voice for Marth in Fire Emblem. 

Very cool “emo” sounding voice for lack of better words. Really like his roles as Ichigo in Bleach and Nero in Devil May Cry.

First heard him as Dean. For the longest time he was just goofy Dean... then I started hearing him in anime and video games and his voice really started to grow on me... a lot. I’m currently use his voice for my Dragon Ball Xenoverse and Soul Calibur OCs as he is featured as a create-a-character voice in both of those games.

I like how Max Mittelman voices overpowered characters like Saitama from One Punch Man and Meruem from Hunter X Hunter. Robbie Daymond is great at voicing the more calm and collected characters like Chrollo from Hunter X Hunter and Mitsuki from Boruto. Heard Steve Staley as Neji and Toshiro, but really started to like him after hearing him as McGillis Fareed in Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans.

Heard her in Fallout 4 as my female player character and then heard her in Resident Evil 6 as Ada Wong. I don’t have a lot of favorite roles from her, but the two I like, I like a lot.

Actually met her at a convention! Super nice person and one of my favorite female VAs!

Even more talented Voice Actors that I wanted to mention, but don’t have the time to make pics for them right now as its really time consuming... I'll probably just make a huge voice actors collage at some point with everyone on it.

Critical Cocktails

Patrons and adventurers who are looking for some drink ideas for New Year's Eve - or any other time during the year can find some inspiration with cocktails from the Critical Role cast. Earlier this year, Critical Role fans had the opportunity to learn more about their favorite cast of characters in the "Between the Sheets" series. Hosted by Brian W. Foster, the series focuses on each Critical Role cast member, their beginnings and the path that led them to the table. Sorry, I have a bad habit of referring to pretty much any character as an OC. And yes, in short.

It’s okay! I’ll try to make their stories short and include their names in case you need to search them later. And I’ll try to put them in summary and put it under a read more so it won’t mess up your dash. Chances are I will be changing and updating the muses tab soon.

Just a heads up. I have a lot of ‘em.

Anyway! I’ll try my best to summarize them.

Starkiller/Galen Marek: Star is a Jedi, born to two Jedi Knights then later kidnapped and trained by Vader. He left Vader to become part of the Rebellion and later settled somewhere and now shares a house with the others. He was killed, cloned and brought back to life, killed again, and once again cloned. Usually reffered to as Star.

Alex Mercer: Originally a scientist that worked for Gentek in Prototype. Alex defied Gentek and unleashed a virus on himself in Penn Station in New York and is now the blacklight virus, unlike other Virus infected, Alex has a mind of his own and is not a mindless zombie.

Ezra Bridger: An orphan that unwittingly joined the rebels in Star Wars rebels. He is a Jedi in training that is being trained by Kanan Jarrus and is part of the Ghost crew.

Alexsandr/Agent Kallus: Kallus was an ISB agent in Star Wars Rebels. After an encounter on Bahryn, Kallus started to change his views later joined the rebellion.

Maxi: Is a character from Soul Calibur. He is a Ryukyu pirate. In THIS BLOGS canon he is over almost 400 years old and holds onto Soul Edge, an evil sword that eats souls.

Travis Touchdown: A 37 year old that is an assassin for hire and gamer. Grew up in Santa destroy and uses a beam Katana (basically downgraded lightsabers, of which he has four sets he can switch between) and wrestling moves to complete the hired job for.

Aiden/(EX) Dark Apprentice: Is the same as Star but with the dark side in Star War: The Force Unleashed and unfortunately spent most of his waking time training with Vader. He is considered Star’s brother.

And I think that’s the muses that are not OC’s. I’ll do the actual OC’s here.

Raze Shysa: A trainee in the Imperial army turned Rebel. He was part of Ezra’s imperial training class but didn’t feel comfortable with what the Empire did.

Cypher Valara. An Stormtrooper that was turned rebels when he found Raze and was shown what the Empire does and changed sides.

Damien Pavish: Almost same story as Cypher only he’s a little more harsh on others.

Reaper: A student of Death that formed a sort of pact with Star and is often uses his abilities to bring certain people back to give them a second chance or to help Death with his list of people to pass on.

And that should be everyone… I have a lot of muses, so don’t feel too pressured about picking any favorites. My most active as a heads are Star, Kallus, Alex, Maxi and Travis if that helps to make choosing a little easier. a

Gender: Is your character female? Male? Gender-fluid? Non-Gender? - male

Age: What is your characters physical age? - he’s not sure, but he’s in his 30s

Sexuality: Is your character heterosexual? Homosexual? Asexual? - hetero

Ethnicity: Is your character of a specific ethnicity? - nah he’s just white :P

Race: Is your character of a different race? Or are they just human? - “just human” LOL. he literally looks exactly like Matt Mercer so... XD

Clothing Style: Does your character prefer dresses to pants? - he wears his hunter cloak kinda sideways cause he likes the way it feels draped over his shoulder. he never goes anywhere without wearing the lucky pants Cayde gave him. he prefers strong, metal chestpieces as opposed to cloth ones. AKA he dresses like McCree I mean a cowboy all the time :P

Character Personality

Character Traits: Using adjectives, list a few words to describe your character. - kind, helpful, likeable, skilled, VERY nerdy

Extensive Personality: Write a paragraph or two describing your character’s personality - Matt is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet in your life. people have a hard time believing he’s a Hunter because he’s so approachable and nice.

Flaws: What imperfections does your character’s personality have? - he spends a lot of time making sure other people are ok, which means he doesn’t spend a lot of time on himself. he’s pushed himself too far one too many times, which has earned him many scoldings from his Ghost. also he... tends to run into bad luck more often than not. Rocky swears that he was cursed by a Hive Wizard at some point because of how many unfortunate things have happened to him over time LOL

Ambitions & Dreams: Does your character have any hopes or dreams? - he’s extremely hopeful for the future and wants to make it a safe and happy place for everyone to live in (which is why he’s hardcore New Monarchy LOL)

Fears: Everyone is afraid of something. What’s your character afraid of? - not being able to save the people he cares most about

Hobbies: What does your character do in their spare time? - he collects stuff. mainly action figures and other collectibles related to his interests. he has a whole bunch of junk that he’s gotten from his excursions that he claims are really “valuable” but is actually just a bunch of junk that he keeps for sentimental reasons :P

Favorite food: This can go in likes, but if you want to split it up you can. - he’s a BIG coffee drinker. Cayde always wants to take him to bars and stuff, but he’d much rather have a cup o’ joe than alcohol hahaha

Least favorite food: Same goes for this. - he doesn’t like the Spicy Ramen. Cayde is disgusted :P

Motivation: What is driving your character through this story? - the same thing I wrote for his ambitions and dreams really, he’s trying to make the world a safe place for people to live in

Family: Does your character have any family or are they an orphan?  Do they belong to a tribe? - he doesn’t remember if he had a family before being reborn as a Guardian. he considers the Vanguard and his fireteam the closest thing to his family now :3

Relationship(s): Do they have a partner? A close friend? - Rocky is his best friend, and he knows Cayde pretty well too, of course. he also has a huuuuuuuuuge crush on Hawthorne hehe

Pet(s): Does your character have a companion? What’s their name? - just his Ghost. he’s a bit more serious than Matt and doesn’t really understand why Matt is so interested in all the junk he collects, but whatever. as long as Matt doesn’t bring anything living back with him, his Ghost is fine with it. he sounds like Travis Willingham.

Job: Does your character work or is he jobless? - he’s one of Cayde’s top favorite Hunters, so I’d say he’s pretty busy LOL

Weapon(s): Does your character use any weapons? What type? Do those weapons have names? - he uses scout rifles, snipers, hand cannons, and the occasional rocket launcher. his signature weapon is the Sunshot.

Magical Abilitie(s): Any special abilities? Telekinetic? Fireballs? Mind-reading? - he uses solar energy, so his special ability is the Golden Gun.

Vehicle(s): Does your character have a car? An airplane? - he goes back and forth between Sparrows, but his ship is the Symmetry Flight

You can make it as long or short as you want, it’s just to give you an idea of who your character is and where they come from. - when Matt first came to the City, he wasn’t sure if he’d make a good Guardian or not. all he knew is that he wanted to help. he saw the chaos outside of the City and knew he had to do something about it. and he was willing to do whatever he had to do to protect the City. that’s why he was one of the Guardians chosen to take out Crota, Oryx, the House of Wolves, and all the other threats that popped up leading to the Red War. that’s why he survived losing his Light. and that’s why he still fights to this day \o/

Birthplace: Where were they born? - he doesn’t remember his human life, he just knows that he was remade as an Exo at the same place as everybody else during the Golden Age

Hair: And what about their hair? - no hair, just a big black metal strip across the top of his head, kinda like a very short mohawk

Build: What is their body-type? - extremely well-built and muscular, like the robot equivalent of a wrestler

Complexion: What is your characters skin tone? - he’s got all kind of knicks and scratches on his body

Tattoo(s): Do they have tattoos? - sort of... he got some marks on his arms that resemble tattoos, but not of anything in particular

Piercing(s): Any piercings? - nope

Special Feature(s): Does your character have a peg leg or any other kind of special characteristics? - aside from what I’ve already mentioned? nope

Clothing Style: Does your character prefer dresses to pants? - he likes big, clunky Titan armor that makes him look even bigger than he already is. he tries to embody Saint-14 as much as possible really LOL

Character Personality

Character Traits: Using adjectives, list a few words to describe your character. - loud, brash, fearless, tough, self-absorbed 

Extensive Personality: Write a paragraph or two describing your character’s personality - Rocky is the closest thing to a stereotypical jock that you can get in a Guardian. he’s always showing off and trying to make himself look good and win the adoration of everyone around him. but despite all that, he’s still dependable and willing to help out with whatever Zavala needs him to do (with a lot of grumbling and eye rolling of course).

Flaws: What imperfections does your character’s personality have? - like I said before, he’s pretty self-absorbed. he’s also kinda reckless and has been scolded by Zavala many times for breaking or knocking down something unnecessarily :P

Ambitions & Dreams: Does your character have any hopes or dreams? - to be as well-known and beloved as Saint-14 someday

Fears: Everyone is afraid of something. What’s your character afraid of? - being forgotten

Hobbies: What does your character do in their spare time? - the Crucible. O. M. G. this guy is pretty much always in the Crucible on his down time. he’s one of Shaxx’s favorites LOL

Job: Does your character work or is he jobless? - he’s one of Zavala’s best Titans, and a favorite of Lord Shaxx in the Crucible, so yeah, he’s pretty busy

Weapon(s): Does your character use any weapons? What type? Do those weapons have names? - I haven’t created his file in D2 yet, so I have no idea what weapons he’s going to use! I’ll have to come back to fill this out once I’ve played through his file.

You can make it as long or short as you want, it’s just to give you an idea of who your character is and where they come from. - Rocky came to the City unsure of what he wanted. he was told he had to be a Guardian and protect the City, but he wasn’t really feelin’ it. he refused to do anything for a long time, much to the dismay of Zavala and the rest of the Vanguard. but then... he saw the Crucible. he met Lord Shaxx. he heard stories of all the Guardians who fought valiantly and performed daring feats with their Light. he heard about Saint-14, the greatest Guardian who ever lived, an Exo Titan just like Rocky himself. and after that... Rocky knew what he had to do. he had to outdo them all. but what started out as a selfish endeavor turned into a real passion for protecting the City. despite what he might say, Rocky has no problem doing whatever needs to be done to protect the City. and he’ll do it in the most Extra™ way he possibly can LOL.
