Bionicle oc sketches

Seradoka used to be a Po-Matoran, but I made him a Ko-Matoran instead. The Toa is him if he became a Toa. The Turaga is called Yhatokk.

I decided to go in with a pen to add some line art. I think I’m gonna focus more on tumblr than instagram, sine people on tumblr seem to like my art a lot more.

The lore behind these ocs has changed a lot over the months, but as of now, Seradoka is the Turaga’s right hand, and they live in a village which is partially in a cave, partially out in the snow.

Seradoka: What do you mean! I was the one who flipped the switch! Isn’t it my fault?

Seradoka: Hey… I have a confession to make… I once met with Toa Tuyet. She told me to flip a switch for 100 widgets, and I did, but then I heard electrical noises and screaming in the other room.

The next day, my friend went missing… What do you think happened to him?

*stares at you and then looks away, bashfully*

"I hate to break it do to you, but Tuyet killed them painfully."

He wears an Akaku now. I think the Matoran equivalent of tattoos would be the scorching of the metal to the point where it darkens. Unlike in real life where we have lasers remove our tattoos, you can’t unscorch metal.

The one on the right is Tarinaa (a Toa of sonics), the one in the middle is Seradoka (a Toa of ice), and the one sleeping in the background is Mekti (a Toa of fire.)

The background took me AGES! It’s supposed to be Stelt, by the way. You can see some Steltians and Matoran in the background. One of them is using a paddle ball. One of them fell off of the stairs of that castle thingerdinger.

Seradoka is a Toa of stone who comes from a small sister island of Mata Nui, [I decided to just call it “Huatak Nui” ]. He wears a Kanohi Olani (a fanmade kanohi mask that I designed for him.) It is referred to as “the mask of radiation transference”. Basically, he can take the radiation out of things like idk some random polluted piece of trash that came from Metru nui, and put it into something else like a case meant to carry nuclear radiation or you if you try and hurt any of the matoran in the local village.

(Fun fact: The word “Olani” sounded very Polynesian to me, so I checked to see if I appropriating any sacred words, but it turns out that it just means “dry roast by a fire”. 😂😂😂 If Seradoka ever became evil, Tahu would totally Olani him.)

Anyway, he became a Toa after his brother brought back a Toa stone, saying it was fake because he would wouldn’t become a Toa when he touched it. Seradoka, at this point known as “Doka”, told him to put it in the spare chest they had in the upstairs portion of their house because “it might be worth a fortune”. After forgetting the stone existed, Doka one day checked inside of the chest, touched the stone, and shaboom shabang, you already know what happens!

EDIT: The picture of him as a matoran is more of what he’d look like in the bionicle movie, I made an updated version that looks less like the movie version.

After Seradoka becomes a Turaga, his friend Osuk takes up the mantle via accidentally finding the Toa stone that Seradoka left his power inside of.

also, I have to mention that at this point in time, Yhatokk Nui itself was moved closer to Metru Nui because nobody there wanted to abandon the place. Now it is resting on top of a special underwater ship that is circling/orbiting around Metru Nui.
