The Goddess form of Carnation made of stars and storms. I like the idea of ethereal but ultimately indifferent gods. Here is a powerful form for her but one that strips her of her identity, that makes her blend in with the vacuum of space. She becomes something more, but in the process losses what she already had.

Heyo yall, back again with more Steve OCs for Stevetember! And today I've got a pair of my Red Steves for day 25: quarrelsome!

This prompt fits them so well 🥰

Funny thing is, this morning I had an annoying time outside (me? Going outside? What a shocker). Almost lost my bandanna, had to run back for it, ran into a spiderweb, AND it was hot out :')

Soooo after a sec I realized I needed to chill bc it wasn't THAT bad, and then remembered my OCs + this prompt! Decided to put that annoyance to use :]

Okok so we've got my SS/RQ Red oc (Orhystes) on the left and my RQ Red-Orange hybrid oc (Ravinde) on the right!

The AU is just a slightly modern version of RQ where the Red Kingdom has phones and office buildings, mostly. And at the old SL kingdom's ruins, there's a secret portal to the Steve Saga/Steve Saga Origins universe (not sure which still).

I actually got annoyed with them not having names while writing this so I literally grabbed a name book and did it lmao. Work smarter not harder 👍 Orhystes is a combo of Rhys and Orestes, Rhys means rashness in Welsh, and Orestes is a Greek mythological figure that was extremely (almost violently) loyal. Ravinde is a slight change in Ravinder to be like Ravid, Ravid means adornment or jewelry in Hebrew and Ravinder means rushing water in Old French, implying an intense joy for life!

Anywaysssss...so the story goes that Orhystes came through that portal in the ruins, and grew up in the Red Kingdom. He didn't know he was just a different type of Red Steve, and hid parts of himself he was told were ugly. He grew up believing anger was a sign of stupidity, and therefore, he was an idiot every time he gave in to his emotions. He tried to be "wise" in the ways that the kingdom taught him, even though it didn't come naturally at all. He even brute forced learning to teleport (since non-Purple SS Color Steves often can't teleport, iirc).

Steve Saga Red Steves don't just have fire hair, but also a distinct facial and body structure, alongside neck fur, horns, and a furred tail. They also have unique markings on their arms and faces, and more of a "fanged" appearance compared to RQ Reds. Orhystes would always wear hats and shave his fur, and had cut off his horns long before he was an adult. He was born without a tail. That is, until the plot comes along and snatches his coping mechanisms. His origins fully transform him, leaving him feeling incredibly alienated. Ravinde decides they need to learn more, and an adventure ensues.

Ravinde's parents had to "divorce" when he was a child because of the Red Kingdom going into hiding, his father is an Orange Steve and his mother is a Red Steve. Still, Ravinde sometimes sneaks out to visit. He has a very good sense of style and loves makeup. In part because he likes to cover his orange patches, despite the fact that he knows "fitting in" is not artistic. He has a dramatic streak and likes to flaunt his stuff. He became friends with Orhystes as a young adult, and despite his angry personality, Ravinde trusts him with all his heart. He genuinely believes Orhystes is smart in a way the kingdom has never seen before, much like himself.

Random facts about my listener ocs (I love them and need to share them more):

Angel is blind in one eye, they were born with it but they still manage to trip and run into things

Babe is albino and had 5 siblings (theyre the oldest, i love the idea Babe has a big family so they treat the pack like siblings)

Darlin is a few years younger then the other wolves (Ravid, Ash,and Milo)

Sweetheart heart is Australian and definitely has an accent

Freelancer and Starlight are siblings and both ran away from home, they didn't have contact with each other before Starlight met Avior so Freelancer has no idea they're gone

Freelancer bleached and cut their hair after the Kody and Vega thing (before they told Gavin and before the cost)

Starlight has freckles and likes to make up consolations like theyre freckles are stars

Sunshine hates driving or riding in cars, they only let Elliott drive them around

I have been working on a giant project as a follow-up to this post where I redesigned Alpha Squad in the Halo 4 customizer, and I have finally finished the bare bones of it and consolidated the pictures into an amount Tumblr won’t hate.

Some of these agents appeared in Temple’s murderfridge, but I have no way of telling who’s who and no access to any armor that’s in Halo 5 but not in Halo 4, so I just yote them all and started over.

First up is Alpha Squad once more - Tex, Carolina (MAJ Rebeca Church), York (MAJ Joey Marchesi), Wyoming (SPC Reginald Winthrop-Covington VI), North (CPT Ustin Voronin), Wash (CPL David Ortez), Maine (MAJ Moses-046), South (MAJ Viktoriya Voronin), Florida (CPT Butch Flowers), Connecticut (LT Iona Blair).

And then we get into my OCs starting with Bravo Squad. Georgia was an absolute dick in Season 14, so he gets to be an incompetent and self-important white boy followed by eight increasingly terrifying women and one himbo. Left to right, top to bottom - Georgia (PFC James Wright), Kansas (SSG Elena ”Wheat Thin” Campo Escarra, ODST), Indiana (SPC Tereza “Zippy” Kudrna), Louisiana (SPC Takara “Swamp Lady” Mori, ONI), Michigan (LT Ravid Wolff), Nevada (MAJ Antonia “Tony” Marchesi), Tennessee (LT Yona Keyes, ONI), California (CPT [REDACTED]), Hawai’i (SPC Zoe Choi), Massachusetts (CPT Jean Martel).

Michigan is a nonbinary Jewish person who chose that name because I, a nonbinary Jewish person, think it’s a fucking awesome name. California does not have a name yet because I have a very specific facecanon in mind for her and I’m waiting to hear back from a direct source on a respectful name for her background.

Charlie Squad is entirely OCs! There’s Arizona (CPL Naomi Blum), Kentucky (LT Miles Parker), Oregon (Dorian “Dory” Teague), Mississippi (SGT Justice Hawkins), Arkansas (SSG Noelle Abrams), Vermont (SSG Colby “Cheese Man” Leafield), Oklahoma (SPC Skylar “OK�� Ned, ODST), Wisconsin (CPL Ernst “Ravioli” Kasperson), Rhode Island (SPC Lovel Short), and Montana (SSG Daisy Feng).

Dory doesn’t have a rank because he was recruited straight from mercenary work. You might recognize Montana from this fic series I published recently featuring North/York/Montana.

Delta Squad has a familiar face (potentially a second if you’ve seen Zero, though I forgot that guy’s real name, if it was ever revealed) and also, accidentally, the most agents that look alike. There’s West Virginia (COL Rasmus Lucassen), New Mexico (SSG Lars Korhonen), Utah (LT Oriole Vives), Pennsylvania (SPC Sladjana Novak), Puerto Rico (CPT Dina Abbing), New Hampshire (SPC Phoebe Daugherty), Delaware (SGT Jeremiel Carver), Alabama (SPC Priyanka Devi, ODST), Illinois (SGT Roger Lennox), and Maryland (SPC Tuana Demirci).

Echo Squad has the triplets, but I wanted to mix it up a little. Ohio (SPC Vera Czajkowski) actually leads this squad, with Idaho (CPL Ezra Katz) as her second. After them are Alaska (SGT Faraj Nejem), Colorado (SPC Marvin Cole), Minnesota (SSG Anton Peerenboom), New Jersey (CPL Kyung-Hee Moon), Nebraska (LT Armann Gunnarsson), Virginia (SGT Zarina Zaman), and then Iowa (PFC Michael Gutermuth, ODST) at #49, followed by Missouri (PFC Fabiano Necchi) at #50.

After the triplets are abandoned, this squad falls apart in a major way and all the other agents in it leave or are made to leave.

(I want to start leaning into the leaderboard really just being arbitrary bullshit but not starting that way in my writing, and the not starting that way is most clear with Echo Squad.)

And, then, because I used Puerto Rico but haven’t seen anyone use any of the other inhabited US Territories in RvB before, I also put together the Quality Assurance Squad, aka the Counselor’s snitches among the non-agent personnel, the crew running the day-to-day of the Mother of Invention and, later, Freelancer Command.

This is Guam (CW2 Isabela Hernandez), American Samoa (CW2 Lee Michaels), US Virgin Islands (CW2 Ulysse Desrosiers), and Northern Mariana Islands (CW2 Erik Bergstrom). They’re not a part of the leaderboard and most people - including the other agents - don’t actually know they exist. They all report directly to the Counselor, but Samoa, Virgin, and Mariana also all report to Guam. Mostly, though, she’s only in charge of Quality Assurance as another one of the Counselor’s experiments, they’re all equally capable. Of all Freelancer personnel aside from the Director and Counselor, these four know the most of what’s going on - and they actually are encouraged to work together as a team - but they still don’t know everything.

Updated Carnation ref,

I worked with her hairstyle and made her purple more pinkish. As well as helping the outfits b/c I’m not use to princess outfits and stuff like that.

Her ties with Lady Raven, the goddess of prophecies and death. Shattered parts of a being dealing with her identities of Goddess vs Remeberence, Priestess vs Princess, & Poet vs Narrator.

The Goddess, the potential to godhood and the power that comes with it. Yet she knows the truth of such power and godhood such omnipotence, the price of personhood. She wishes to be a person.

The Remembrance, a shard of that godhood yet holds the omniscience of it. Yet knowing all, for gods like that means there is no way of acting. No way of acting due to her knowledge.

The Priestess and Princess are outward labels and facades. One due to her religious duties and other of her privilege and birth. One she loves and accepts the other she shuns and feels bad for. She knows how horrible her family is with the poison and familicide for the throne. Her divinity feels I deserved feeling she needs to pay for the monstrous acts of Rhea family and ancestors. The Priestess as a facade is her repentance. Serving her community spiritually and through community service. Most don’t know her face but they do know her wing ears. Her soft angelic voice. Her calming and nurturing nature and wisdom.

Ravid Panoptes - The One Eyed Seer

Ravid Panoptes is the last member of Team HCTR and the most prominent dust user of the group. Born to a family of mediums and seers, Ravid thought that he would live a normal life until he was exposed to the family’s dark secret which ‘costed’ him his right eye.

Ravid’s weapons are called Eyes of the Pantheon. They are the Hexa Dust Combat Orbs (HDCO). They are 6 medium sized orbs that are infused with specific dust types. Ravid manipulate these orbs to levitate around him and use them and their dust capabilities. The dust types Ravid uses include: Fire, Water, Ice, Wind, Electricity and Gravity.

His semblance, Giant’s Sight allows for Ravid to glimpse exactly 5 seconds into the future, allowing him to forsee attacks just as they’re about to occur. However, if this semblance is overused it can cause painful migraines for Ravid.

Any of your ocs broken a bone, like a leg or arm or something?

Yes, Ravid did. It was when he was a young child and got caught in a bad carriage accident. His leg didn't heal properly for reasons unknown, so he was left with a permanent limp (hence why he uses the cane, to walk more properly).
