The main characters of my story, Connection Lost! I'm not going to post too many details atm as I'm still putting everything together, but I'm excited to share it with you all!

I made an OC, his name is Pilot, hes a dragon and he really likes planes, he lives in the water cause...hes a fish guy so hes always finding plane wreckages and everytime without fail he thinks its the coolest thing ever

At first this was just me wanting to get the idea of a flying fish dragon out but i always end up making ocs out of everything ;_; its so easy to think up character traits

reboot of some ocs from a comic I drew in middle school but I'm lazy so it's just some chibis + shitty memes

they don't have names yet but I'm open to suggestions

some lore under the cut:

the story was originally set in a fantasy world with many different kingdoms

the main characters had to flee various kingdoms after demons/monsters appeared and caused destruction

it's sorta a post-apocalyptic story, but also a fantasy?

captain, pilot, mechanic, and navigator are the crew of an airship travelling... somewhere (it's been a while since I did the og comic)

wizard and scientist are twins and had a ship of their own but later teamed up with the others

literally all of the lore is fluid rn I'm trying to rework the old story

also some things that arent noticable because theyre only heads + other stuffs:

wizard has a prosthetic arm on the same side as her eye scar (scientist built it)

pilot has gills but she usually hides them under a choker

captain uses forearm crutches + leg braces

navigator has wings all the time (she could hide them, she just doesn't want to)

scientist and wizard dress very similarly, just in opposite colors usually, and most of the time it's not even on purpose

pilot and scientist help do each others hair

captain is the one who pierced the others' ears

people think that mechanic's strength is supernatural but actually he's just Like That™

the 3 other original crew all see navigator as their little sister but she prefers mechanic over the others

Drew a mech for @katastrofish's pilot! For all the catgirl jokes the Enkidu spawns, I wanted to make something actually cat-like while still being visibly an enkidu. Also if it has the trait All Fours. I want to see it on all fours.

I wanted the design to work on all fours and on twos(??)

Didn't go incredibly cat on the design because I still wanted some Lancer uncanniness/esoterism (cats are too familiar)

Very important to keep long ass limbs beause it's Threat 3 for a reason (4 specifically for Calcifer's mech iirc)

Still gave it tiny cat ears (instead of original bolts), the claws (with accurate dew claws!!), a mimicry of whiskers, and a mimicry of a tail tho!

Calcifer and co are inspired by Howl's Moving Castle and Kabu, Cal's ex-fiance, was based off Turnip Head. Since Calcifer stole Kabu's mech, I used Turnip Head's colour scheme instead of Calcifer's :)

coincidentally turnip head's colour scheme is also lowkey the trans pride flag LMAOOO
