You've been visited by the random OC question fairy! :D ~☆
Does your character listen more to their head or heart? Do their emotions control them, or do they control their emotions? Has there been a time when they've regretted following their emotions or head?
Kyiari tries to do both. She tends to be impulsive and follow her heart a lot, often trying to sacrifice her own health and safety in order to protect others. She does try to think things through though, to act deliberately and with forethought. While her emotions do have influence over her, she does her best to control them instead of being controlled by them. This is made more difficult by being a person who bonds quickly with others as well as having psychometry and Force enhanced telepathic empathy thing that Jedi have, hers being stronger then average. She regretted losing control of her emotions after the loss of her first master. Her emotions overwhelmed her and she accidently caused the entire pirate base she was in to explode. It was only thanks to Mace being there and able to use the Force to shield both of them that they weren’t killed. Everyone else in the base was. A massive loss of life in an instant. They were terrible people, but it’s still something that she regrets.

You asked for cool Jedi ocs. I think my girl Kyiari Lesana is pretty cool. She's a dark blue twi'lek with bright green eyes and she tattooed all her markings on her face and lekku black because she thought it looked good. She's about 20 and padawan to Mace Windu, uses Vapaad, occasionally a variant with two blades.
She sounds super cool! I love seeing twi'leks with tattoos on their lekku. It's so badass.
I imagine she needs a lot of discipline to master Vapaad. Kio could never XD He's decent with his lightsaber, but definitely doesn't have the patience or self control to learn such a complicated form.

It’s all over
@firstofficerwiggles, My piece for the Clone Wars Victory Ball AU event.
mostly fluff, OC Clones and their OC Jedi.
Drift moved away from the crowds to lean against the wall and take a moment. The war was finally over. They’d won and he and all his brothers had been invited to this ball so that they could be shown off. He still didn’t believe that they were being appreciated for themselves by senators. But maybe time would make him believe. This party was too fancy, he’d been to a few fancy parties, ordered to attend fundraisers to be shown off and bragged about as one of the Republic's prize weapons. To try and encourage donations to the senator hosting the event. But he’d never gotten to really be part of the party and he felt so uncomfortable. This sort of event was not what he was used to. The war still weighed heavy on his mind and the future as well. The chancellor being a separatist was still making his head spin even now. How had everyone missed that? Even the Jedi, for everything they knew, they could sense, had missed it.
Breeze passed by with a civilian on his arm and winked at him. He had to smile. It was admittedly nice to see his vode relaxing. They wouldn’t have to go to war again. They could finally learn to live like regular people. They wouldn’t die, forgotten on some battlefield. They’d get to live and meet people and do things. There was even a rumor that several Jedi were helping to craft a clone rights bill to get them all citizenship. His Jedi had whispered that there’d been a bit of an argument through the temple on which Jedi got to work on it.
His Jedi, there was the topic that was still weighing on his mind. It had been one thing when they were general and commander and they were in the field all the time and the galaxy was at war. But now he got to add other things besides war to his life. Kyiari would return to the temple and to her life as a Jedi. Would he get to see her? Would she even want him anymore, now that they weren’t facing life and death every day? He didn’t know and he wasn’t sure he wanted to. He’d admitted he loved her long ago and he firmly believed that he would love her until something finally killed him.
He wasn’t sure what life would look like now. But he hoped that everything would work out. The Jedi didn’t seem inclined to simply abandon them to figure out a galaxy that they quite literally hadn’t been created to ‘live’ in, alone. They were meant to die for it, not be part of it. And those damn chips. He reached his hand up and felt the small scar on his head again, just like he’d been doing since the thing was removed. The thought that someone could have used him, could have overrode his own will and forced him to hurt his Jedi, his Kyiari, the thought still chilled him. And that someone could have controlled his vode, that made him furious. He wasn’t usually one to be anxious about the future, but he couldn’t help it now. So much had happened and so much seemed uncertain.
Another vod passing near drew his attention. This time it was Aspect. He was actually dancing. Aspect, who had always refused any opportunity to dance, even at 79’s, was dancing. Of course, it had a lot to do with his partner though, that much Drift was sure of. The Jedi healer, Elsie, who’d been brought into their legion as a field medic. They’d been spending time together since Elsie started coming around and Drift had been sure they were together. Seeing them now, together and how happy Aspect looked. He had no doubts. He wouldn’t push the medic to talk. He was just happy that his brothers were getting a chance to celebrate together. Not just the 727 and the RRL. But all of them, the entire GAR.
He wasn’t surprised when a hand landed hard on each shoulder. He’d seen his boys trying to sneak up on him. Staying aware of his surroundings was a survival habit. He would likely never be rid of the ability. Checkmate stood on his left, likely having been next to Breeze, they were practically inseparable and always had been. Feedback was on his right and probably either on his way to Breeze and Checkmate or to the table full of food. Both of them had big grins and were simply staring at him. “What?” They didn’t bother to say anything, both just pointing at the entrance to this over the top event. There stood Kyiari,
She wore the outer cloak of the Jedi over an actual dress. If he could have thought, he would have found it strange that she was wearing a dress, but he couldn’t think. He didn’t even notice Checkmate and Feedback moving away to continue the party. All he could see was her. It had been a couple days since he’d last seen her. She’d come by to explain some of what had happened and to check on the boys, but she’d been insisting on otherwise staying near General Windu. He’d apparently been injured in his fight with the Chancellor and according to Kyiari, both she and General Billaba were staying close. She turned her head and looked at him and started towards him, but was quickly swarmed by senators and some of the natborn who’d been invited. He chuckled, always attracting attention everywhere they went, that was his girl.
He settled against the wall a bit more and just watched. The thoughts that had started to bother him finally settled down. They’d return later. But he could once again just enjoy the night off.
As he waited for her to be able to slip away, his comm pinged. He’d been told it was a night off, so he almost didn’t check it, but out of the corner of his eye, he saw Checkmate pulling out his; Feedback and Aspect as well. Fishing them out of the suits they’d been given for the evening. It was a message from Kyiari. “Found a surprise a couple hours ago. Thought you’d all want to see, head over to the furthest lounge.” Across the massive room he could see the men of the 727 extracting themselves from whatever they were doing. It seemed the message had only been sent to one company in the battalion though, based on who was going. If he’d gotten it, the surprise must be for him as well.
He joined the rest of them is trying to slip out as subtly as a group of clones could. Luckily, there were plenty of their brothers around to distract those who’d stop them. He saw Tempest Squad and Thunderwave among those moving. Sinks and the other company pilots. Even Bynn had gotten the message and he’d been transferred over to the Coruscant Guard a while back. Whatever their general had arranged for them. It must be big.
The vode who had gotten to the room ahead of him were standing and staring when he got there. The room was empty except for a trooper standing near the window staring out, wearing a clean set of blacks instead of the suits or armor the rest were wearing. As he moves into the crowd around the door, they must have finally made enough noise to be noticed, because the vod at the window turned and Drift could swear he stopped breathing. Those tattoos, that stupid smile that was spreading over his face as he looked from face to face. Drift had never thought he’d see him again. That he was dead, another brother fallen on a dust ball far away who’s body couldn’t be retrieved. But there he stood, alive and smiling, hurt, but standing. Sinks was one of the first to move. They’d had a rivalry, but it had mostly been lighthearted. He’d been nearly broken when they’d lost Crash. The hug they shared was one of relief and joy and the shared comfort of familiarity. Drift let most of the others go first. He always put himself last, let his men, his brothers have their time, get what they needed first. But there was no denying that he was crying when he finally had the chance to embrace his vod’ika and welcome him home.
It was a while before any of them felt like leaving that room. Having their vod come back made most want to stay close, as though he’d slip away again the minute they turned their back. It seemed Sinks and Coil weren’t about to let him go anytime soon. They were hovering so close that there was always a hand or arm or leg touching him at all times. Eventually though, most went back. After all, somebody had to serve as the distraction so that those who’d been closest to Crash could stay without being bothered by the natborns.
Walking back into the main ballroom though, it felt a little like he’d been punched again. Kyiari had removed her robe, leaving her dress on full display. She was a vision. The dress was nearly the same dark brown as her robes. One shoulder was bare while a piece of softer brown satin brushed across her breasts to cover the other shoulder. Her waist was emphasized with the only embroidery on the dress, a gold leaf pattern stretching similar to a belt. The skirt, the skirt was full and reached to the floor, but there was a slit in the side all the way up to her thigh, her blue skin taunting him as she moved. This was not her usual attire. She usually stayed covered up in layers at these events. Wearing this, it was different, it was unusual, it was for him, it had to be. Especially as she turned and he caught sight of her necklace, a rather inexpensive thing. A small purple flower with three green leaves and lying partially hidden behind the flower, a durasteel ring, polished but handmade. His ring, on the necklace he’d given her.
he was moving toward her before he even realized what he was doing, before he could stop and make it look like he was doing anything but making a beeline for his general though, she was walking towards him as well.
“Hello Commander” His rank had never sounded so sweet as it did when she said it in that soft voice as she looked him over. But tonight, he wanted something more, the war was supposed to be over after all.
“No titles today Kyiari,” He said softly, mindful of where they were. “It’s just us for now.”
The smile she gave him, that was the smile he’d fought for. “Drift.”
He needed to say it before he forgot, before that damn dress and his ring on her neck made him forget, He’d get more answers later, for now though, “Thank you for bringing Crash. It’s good to know he’s alive. To be able to see him and know he’s back and alive and with his vode where he belongs.”
“I’ll always bring your brothers home whenever I can. You all deserved to be together as much as you want. He needed it too. To know he’s not alone anymore.” She slowly looked him up and down, that familiar glimmer in her eyes “you look nice, ankai’a”
He gently tugged at her hand, prompting her to twirl for him, before moving closer. “You look beautiful, cyare. Mesh’la” he let himself smirk just a bit. It was satisfying to know that she thought he looked better than he thought he did. “I don’t think I’m seen this dress before. It looks spectacular on you, wear this for someone special?”
“Of course, I wore this for the best man I’ve ever met, and I love him very much. I thought a victory ball might be a nice place to dress up for him.”
He smiled and would have stayed there forever, but those battlefield senses hadn’t dulled in the days since the war ended. He could see the senators and their guests eyeing them and some moving closer, clearly trying to hear what they were whispering to each other. That just wouldn’t do. Maybe it was selfish, but he wanted his Jedi all to himself for just awhile longer. He’d have to share her with the rest of the galaxy soon enough. He lifted a hand and gestured to the dancefloor. “Care for a dance.”
“Of course Drift, I’d love to” Kyiari placed her small blue hand in his and he led her out on the floor. As he pulled her in close and began swaying to the music, it seemed the galaxy narrowed. His brothers laughter surrounding him and his girl in his arms as the music swelled. It was almost enough to make him believe it was all truly over.

I guess there is some good news
I have another deployment. This one my command, Master Mace has council business he has to attend to. So I’m off on my own with my troops. We’ll see how things go without my masters council. Obviously I can handle it. It’s just going to be strange having command of an entire destroyer full of soldiers. Then again, can’t be that much different then the trip back. And that was mostly fine. The good news is that my second in command Drift and me get along. He didn’t panic or flail or freak out at all when I decided to take the fast route down the tower and drag him with me after the last pre-deployment briefing with the council. He said it was fun. Finally! someone who get’s it who isn’t another Jedi! We all get it, the rest of the galaxy is weird for not!
Aspect, If you’re reading this, I’m not wearing a Jetpack. The Force doesn’t randomly fail. It doesn’t work like that.
Note to self: Find Sinks, order him to not injure Crash in his retaliation for his pranks. Also consider teaching meditation to Hajin and Stel

2- What question would they most like to know the answer to?
3- What one thing would they do if it was impossible to fail?
5- What small act from a stranger made the biggest impact in their lives?
8- What is something they need to let go of?
hey anon, thanks for the ask :)
2. Would her first master be proud of the Jedi she’s becoming? or later in the war, Will any of them (the Jedi, the Order itself, the troopers) make it?
3. Either locate and kill both Dooku and the Sith that started the war, or Find the lost holocrons of the Jedi founders and masters who are only mentioned in some of their oldest legends. Depends of the day and the needs and her mood.
5. Well, growing up on Ryloth before the seperatists, knowing enough about the Jedi to casually comment on them when you see a toddler throwing a tantrum in the market isn’t really a small thing. But that’s how Kyiari ended up with the Jedi. They would have come to her eventually, but before they could, Kyiari threw a tantrum while out with her mother and caused a few items from a nearby stall to fly off. A passing stranger noticed, helped pick them up and told her mother that she should probably call the Jedi and then carried on with their shopping. Two days later they did just that. Leading the Jedi to bring Kyiari to the temple earlier then they might have otherwise.
8. She needs to let go of her guilt over the events surrounding her first masters death. She’s carries guilt for not saving her, for being the reason Windu had to go into that situation, for almost killing both of them, for killing as many pirates as she did. That guilt drove her to try harder and work longer at every aspect of her training for years to try and prove that the council wasn’t wrong when they let her stay, that her master’s sacrifice wasn’t in vain and that she can be a good padawan and will be worth the trust and effort that Mace put into training her.

To GAR medics
Ner Vode, fellow medics specifically, is anyone else’s Jedi commanders absolutely, stupidly ridiculous and reckless? I have been on ONE assignment with my new commander and she has done the following:
*stayed up half the night doing some sort of stretching exercise that I’m not familiar with. Stretching... Good. Staying up all night after a full day of combat and more to come... Seriously!... Go to bed!
*Jumped out of a very tall tree that no one saw her climb, in front of thousands of HEAVILY ARMED TROOPERS READY FOR COMBAT!
*Threw multiple troopers through the air onto the top of droids using the Force.
*Threw herself into combat without actual armor while ordering her troops to wait for her signal while again NOT WEARING ARMOR. I get that she’s faster and stronger then she looks because Jedi, but she still got hurt. If you’re reading this Commander, YOU ARE NOT INVINCIBLE. AS YOUR MEDIC, I’M TELLING YOU TO BE MORE CAREFUL! WEAR ARMOR WHEN RUNNING INTO BLASTER FIRE!
*KEPT JUMPING OFF STUPIDLY HIGH CLIFFS AND TREES FOR NO REASON.
*Talked back to the general
*decided that taking a small squad and charging straight at the largest group of droids because she has a laser sword and is fast was a smart plan.
*more things that I can’t think of right now because she’s coming to the medbay on the ship because apparently she twisted her ankle before we left the planet JUMPING OFF ANOTHER REALLY HIGH CLIFF. She’s going to die doing this one of these days. How am I going to keep this chaotic being of energy with no common sense alive? It’s been one mission and I’m exhausted with these stunts. Are all the Jedi commanders like this? How are we supposed to handle it? Can I order her to listen to someone else and not to do the stupid things? I was not prepared for dealing with this. I can handle injuries and dumb decisions leading to injury in the heat of battle. But we were not trained to handle this kind of a person.
- Lt. Aspect - CMO, 727 Battalion

kiss prompts: …casually.
One casual kiss for Kyiari and Drift as requested, my friend 😘👍
Kyiari lounged back against the pillows and stretched, reveling in the softness. She’s been dealing with either a bedroll in the field or the hard bunk in her quarters on the Aurora. She likely wouldn’t be back to the Coruscant temple and her comfortable bed there for several more weeks, so she’d take the luxury of these pillows in her rented room.
Technically, she was on a meditative retreat, or she was supposed to be, while her ship was being repaired. She’d been planning on spending it at the temple on Coruscant, spend a little extra time with Master Mace, and with Depa, be there for them when things got rough as they always seemed to lately. She’d had to be away so much, she’d been looking forward to time to reconnect with the Force.
Running into a separatist convoy was unintentional. They’d dropped out of hyperspace briefly to check the engines, and were practically on top of them. Her men were brilliant as always and they’d managed to win. They’d taken a lot of damage though. Enough so that they were forced, limping and barely functional, into the nearest friendly spaceport for many many repairs. Her quarters happened to have been in the part of the ship most damaged, leading to her staying in this room for the past 3 days and probably at least another 2, most likely more. The repairs were considered to be a priority and almost every mechanic and engineer in the area had been hired on for extra help, but it was a big ship, it would still take time.
As she reclined trying to still her mind and rest, she heard the door to the room open and close softly and Drift’s deliberate footsteps as Drift entered the room with a big bag of food and moved towards the small table.
He’d been staying with her every night that they’d been in this port. It was strange, having real privacy, not having to worry about sep ambushes or one of the men bursting in, or the million other things they had to worry about. Just her and him and time to themselves, to learn and explore and just relax.
She almost wondered about what he told the men, he wasn’t staying in his quarters on the Aurora even though they weren’t damaged, and he wasn’t spending his time with his brothers, so she was sure they’d have questions. Cres had arrived yesterday and he would certainly have questions. Tempest squad was always in each other's business so they probably bugged him about where he was going. She wasn’t sure she cared about his excuses though. It didn’t really matter to her what they thought their Major was up to.
Drift sat the bag on the table and moved over to the bed, leaning down and kissing her softly. He straightened with the sweetest smile and stepped back towards the table. “Dinner’s ready, cyar’ika.”
It was a little surprising how easily they’d switched from stolen kisses and secretive whispers to this simple, sweet, open affection as soon as they had the space without thousands of others crowded around and aware of their every move. It was bliss. Kyiari knew it wouldn’t last. There was still a war on after all, and she would always be a Jedi. That came with complications, and duties, and they’d have to convince the council and get permission if they wanted to be public. But all that could wait, for now they had time to themselves. The rest could be sorted out after the war was won. Until then....
She rolled up out of bed and stepped over to Drift, wrapping her arms around him and resting her cheek against his back.
Until then, they would have this.

I just have a feeling that after the first battle, when everyone except those on watch went to bed, probably in tents they had to share because one tent per person is inefficient and bulky, Drift just wanders into his and groans into his pillow. Cres telling him that if he’s hurt, he needs to go to the medics. After a few minutes of back and forth, he finally gets out what’s wrong. “Did we have to get Commander Lesana? We couldn’t have been assigned to any other corp. They didn’t train us to deal with Jedi or any of this.” Cres is concerned, worrying that Drift resents their new commander which could cause problems. When he asks what exactly is wrong with Commander Lesana, after all, they’d fought with her and while inexperienced at command, she seemed competent in combat and that was about all they could expect. Drift just sits up and starts listing things. She jumps off high objects without looking. She’s overly confident. She’s reckless. She moves too fast for them to keep up. And falling back onto his bedroll, “And she’s the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen”
Cres doesn’t even blink, just rolling his eyes, they’re fresh off Kamino after all “She’s the only woman you’ve ever seen.”
His brothers are so dramatic, even the most laidback of them have their moments and somehow it’s exhausting even when he doesn’t have to deal with much of it.

Hajin and Odi are the two who are the most protective of the other clones. Like they all watch out for each other, but these two are almost overprotective, even throwing themselves into what they believe to be certain death on the off chance they can get one of their brothers to safety. The difference is that while Hajin is almost ridiculously overprotective, he’s at least smart about it. He uses some degree of strategy. He’ll call for backup, or radio in his location quickly before jumping in. He usually has a plan. Odi never does. Odi while sweet, is not smart. He does not think at all when he decides that some stupid idea that randomly popped into his head is absolutely necessary to save one of his brothers. Sometimes this works. Sometimes his brothers have to save his ass because his idea DID NOT work. He is a loveable himbo idiot who Hajin is always trying to keep track of. They are also batchmates which makes it much funnier for some of the others

Charity Balls and Senate Events
I am not a fan of politicians and I am not a fan of those Charity balls and senate events that I occasionally have to go to. There’s yet another one coming up when I return to Coruscant. I have to go to a lot of them because Master Mace has to go to a lot of them since he’s a council member and Master of the Order. They’re so boring. No one is doing anything but complaining about problems with no intention of doing anything to solve them. Not even writing and presenting bills to fix the problem, which is the senators job. Also the charity balls don’t really get much for their causes since it’s an open secret that most of that money goes right back into the pockets of the individuals hosting the events. Jedi aren’t even needed to keep the senators safe most of the time, we’re just brought in to be entertainment for the rich boring people who never do anything with their lives and somehow think that we are ‘oh so strange’ because we have a purpose greater then ourselves and live lives rich in connection, tradition and duty rather then credits and luxuries. There are so many things that we could fill our time with rather then speaking with and entertaining politicians and corporate leaders and their guests. But Master Mace says that it’s our duty, so I go.
Also some of those senators and guests are so creepy and have wandering hands that they don’t seem willing to keep away from my lekku. Master Mace is usually such a gentle man, but he has an intimidating glare if he feels it necessary to keep some of them away. They don’t know how kind he is, so it tends to work. And the constant questions and comments on why I am wearing my robes and not a dress and how I should be wearing a dress get extremely annoying over time. I am a Jedi. I wear Jedi robes. I have formal robes for these occasions. I don’t go in my battle robes or the ones I would wear on a mission or around the temple. I always represent my order to the very utmost of my abilities. I just wish that we weren’t expected to attend these events and instead allowed to focus on being Jedi and on the Force.

Crash and Koll and Sinks are the jokers of the group. They are the ones who like to prank the others and cause trouble because they can. Crash also does a holovid series. just little things. Filming the pranks or fun moments during downtime, lighthearted short interviews with younger Jedi as they are walking from one place to another, Kyiari doing something that Aspect calls stupid and she calls fun or necessary. Kyiari getting yelled by Aspect for something she calls fun or necessary. dance trends with some of the other troopers. just random stuff. It becomes quite popular and brings more then a few of the coruscant girls to 79′s after he posts a few holovids from there
