Their worlds collide when Jimena, a junior fashion major, in an effort to broaden her perspectives and fulfill a general education requirement, enrolls in an environmental science course. Jimena finds herself struggling to keep up with the rigorous academic demands of the class. Recognizing her need for assistance, she seeks out tutoring services offered by the university.

This is how she meets Jebron, the senior environmental law major who serves as her tutor. Their sessions begin strictly focused on coursework, with Jebron helping Jimena navigate the complexities of environmental science. This eventually leads to them getting closer mostly due to Jebron making snide remarks about how her fabrics could be more environmentally friendly and Jimena retorting with “Is that why your clothes look terrible? Did you choose environmentally friendly fabrics over fashionable clothes?”

After a lot of arguing about different opinions in fashion and environmentally friendly fabrics, Jimena and Jebron start a collaborative project to make eco-friendly fashionable clothing. Amidst late-night study sessions, coffee shop debates, and collaborative projects, their friendship deepens, hinting at the possibility of something more.

Background

Jimena Rosalía Gallardo López del Carmen was born on the 20th of March, 1981 at St. Mungo’s hospital by Guillermo Gallardo Cuarón and Amalia López Santiago del Carmen. She had a happy childhood, for neither of her parents were Death Eaters and both of them were loving, nurturing and amazing parents to her and her younger sisters, Rocío and Almudena. She was homeschooled, taught all kinds of things, both muggle and magical until her Hogwarts letter came.

Hometown

The Finca Gallardo is a house that was once a mighty estate that fell upon the fall of ancient aristocracy. Her great-grandfather, Aurelio Gallardo, bought it to the government for 300.000 pounds and renovated it to the Chilean style of the time, though her grandfather and father had made some upgrades. The mansion is located in Gloucestershire, England, though she travelled often to Chile.

Half-English, half-Guatemalan, she was from a prominent family in Guatemala that fled the conflicts in Latin America during the wave of communism and the intervention ahem unneccesary meddling of the USA, her family came to England for better chances, for she had always dreamed of coming to London and make her dreams come true. She was sorted into Slytherin and in her fifth year she started dating Guillermo Gallardo, fellow latino, and the two fell head over the heels, which led to them becoming parents at only 19. She was happy nevertheless and raised her daughters with love and kindness.

Chilean who fled the Militar Regime in 1973 to England for better chances, he came late into Hogwarts, when he was only 14, in his fourth year, being sorted into Gryffindor. He struggled quite a bit with the British accents, for he was used to the American, but could understand it thanks to his father, who had lived several years; he was living with his grandmother because his mother was sick with breast cancer at the time and the father needed to provide money all the way from England. The moment he met fellow latina Amalia, he was whipped: she was smart, incredibly gorgeous, resourceful and witty. The two of them dated the year later and their love for one another was such that at 19, he was already a father, but he was overjoyed nevertheless. Though his parents chided him for not having a son, he loved his little princesses more than anybody, and tried his best to be supportive in this far more liberal, easy-changed world.

Jebron and Jimena weren’t from the same year, but Jebron had heard of Jimena and her sisters and the trouble they usually brought, and Jimena had heard of him and his twin brother Sinncere. In fact, Jimena first met Sinncere, for both of them were rebels and troublemakers, giving the headmaster a headache, especially during 1997 & 1998, when Umbridge, Snape and her goons all invaded Hogwarts. 

With his help, she formed a secret resistance in Potter’s absence and always brought trouble to the new biased staff, and with the secret approval of McGonagall, who gave them tips and trained them alongside Flitwick. During that time, Jebron and Jimena saw each other more often and eventually fell in love, and even fought together in the Battle of Hogwarts. After that, their relationship was cemented and Jebron became another member of the family, jokingly called ‘the token male’.

Her makeup style is very different from her sisters: while Rocío has a more discreet one and Almudena has a simple one of black eyeliner, big eyelashes and red lipstick, Jimena has a creative makeup, focused on her eyes, putting on glitter, stones, drawings, etc. Her mother says she paints her own paintings on her face, and she likes to go according to the dress code 

Her routine is not as exhaustive or laid-back as her sisters, but she likes to look neat, so she uses five hair products, two types of cream alonsgide deodorant, solar cream, special oil and facemasks. She always has a hairdo ready for the day. 

She’s an incredible gymnastic and she’s very elastic, which helped her many times. 

She also knows Jiu-Jitsu and has only used it when really necessary

Sisters of Rocío, who was born in 1978, they were both also sorted into Slytherin and were known to aim high, incredibly loyal and cunning and with a temper that no Englishwoman could match.

Almudena was born in 1980 and was the middle child of Chilean Ravenclaw Guillermo Gallardo & half Mexican Amalia Lopez. She was bright, loving and with a maternal side, though after her father's death, she rarely showed that side. She's very protective of her sisters and definitely steps in as a second mom.

Meanwhile Jimena has that youngest sister (1981) bravado and was a hatstall between Slytherin and Gryffindor. She was sorted in Slytherin, however, because of her high ambitions on making Chile and England friends and end their neo-colonialism forevermore. She can be quick-tempered and hates being told what to do. She's a Slytherin who should've been a Gryffindor, were it not for her ambitions...
