Flynn's lore may need a rewrite bc of the Risa stuff not being over the course of years as I thought BUT. The biggest thing I want to keep was Old Flynn having that Makeover ™ Look. You know the ones. Where the nerd girl gets a makeove and is suddenly more confident than ever? Except with Flynn she's told that it would make her feel more confident, but she feels more uncomfortable and even more shy than anything.

New Flynn is her pretty much going back to what made her comfortable, but also moving forward in her life, taking life by her own hands. This outfit isn't actually what she wears in canon! She actually wears a white button up with some floral designs on the sleeves, a long pink skirt and some blue boots. You can tell she's based on Aevia a bit lol, though overall,pink and purple are her main colors. But yeah! Even this outfit reflects flynn better than before - clothes that are more comfortable to her! Still pink and purple but there's no push to stand out or be confident. She just Is. Her brown hair also makes everything feel more. Cohesive? Less in your face? I dunno. It's nice. Flynn's very pretty :>

Hauyne, startled: Nothing.

Flynn, approaching Hauyne: That doesn’t look like nothing. Let me heal you.

Hauyne, backing away from Flynn: I said it’s nothing. It’s just some scratches. They’ll go away on their own.

[As she said that, Hauyne accidentally disturbed one of her wounds. She grimaced and let out a soft hiss in pain. Blood oozes down her front paw.]

Flynn, frowning: Don’t be stubborn. Those look quite bad. If you don’t let me treat them-

Hauyne, snarling at Flynn: I said it’s fine!

[Flynn jumps back, frightened by the abrupt show of aggression. A flash of guilt and horror passes over Hauyne’s face as she realises what she had done.]

Hauyne, guilty: Flynn, I-

Flynn, shaking from suppressed sobs: For once... just once...

[Flynn suddenly whirls around, wearing an uncharacteristic expression of rage, worry and hurt.]

Flynn, yelling: WHY CAN’T YOU JUST ASK US FOR HELP, JUST THIS ONCE?! ARE WE SO UNRELIABLE? NOT WORTHY OF YOUR TRUST? WE’RE A TEAM, AREN’T WE? SHOULDN’T TEAMMATES RELY ON EACH OTHER?

Hauyne, stunned by the passionate speech: ...

Flynn: So sit down and let me heal you, for Arceus’s sake! You can’t go on like this. Wh-what if... what if you never come back? I-I... I don’t want to lose another friend... Not like this... please...

[Hauyne said nothing. Slowly, hesitantly, she limps over to Flynn.]

Hauyne, looking away: ...Alright.

Flynn, surprised: What?

Hauyne: You said you want to heal me, right? Then do it. But make it quick.

[Flynn smiles in relieved joy.]

Flynn: Thank you, Hauyne. I promise it won’t take long.

[Flynn begins to cast her Heal Pulse over Hauyne.]

Hauyne, thinking to herself: Huh. This... this feels strangely nice. Maybe I’ll just relax for a bit...

[Before long, Hauyne was lulled into a deep slumber, soothed by the comforting aura of Flynn’s Heal Pulse. It took longer than expected, due to the severity of the wounds.]

Flynn: Alright, done!

[No response. Alarmed, Flynn tried to check for a pulse, freezing when she heard a quiet snore from Hauyne.]

Flynn, exhaling a relieved breath: Thank goodness, she’s only asleep...  

[Flynn carried Hauyne over to her bed so she could rest. After heaving her onto the bed, she found herself plagued by a nagging question.]

Flynn, thinking to herself: What Zorua fur would feel like...?

[Curious, Flynn stroked Hauyne’s fur along her back, freezing up in shock when she felt a content purr rumbling beneath her fingers. It took her everything to not squeal from the cuteness overload and wake Hauyne up.]

[Hours later, Arrow and Imani would find Flynn asleep on the side of Hauyne’s bed. Both girls were smiling contentedly in their sleep, with Flynn hugging the Zorua like she were a stuffed animal and the latter snuggling into her embrace.]

A pink butterfly flutters past Tyler who had been working on his next project. As he looks up to see the crystal being fly away his eyes turn to the box now next to him. It looked to be a standard cardboard box decorated in flower stickers wrapped up in a green bow. Upon opening the package up he saw a rather adorable stuffed hedgehog along with some pins, he had been wanting to get more. Along with that there was a box full of chocolate stuffed with tropical flavors like coconut cream and passion-fruit but most surprisingly coffee. As he enjoyed one of the little treats he read the letter with a little smile.

"Hello Tyler. I hope today's treating you well and you've taken a rest for yourself. I just want you to know how much I love you. You might not see it but you have nothing but the best. I love you so much. Please take good care of yourself and I'll call you later."

The actor had just came back to his room having finished rehearsals for a play when he spotted a dancing pink butterfly holding a box for him. It was fairly normal looking, apart from being covered to shiny star stickers and topped with a deep blue bow. Taking the box he tips his hat at the creature as it flies away he sets the package down before looking inside. He felt a smile spread across his face, a tiny bag decorated in constellations and upon opening it he spread the shimmery sky night inspired dice onto his desk. With one in his hand he turned to the box of chocolates. There was semisweet and dark chocolates, each filled with a chocolate mousse along with little bits of hazelnut in each bite. He would enjoy the sweets later as he lies in bed with a letter to read.

"My North star, I miss you dearly. How I long to be in your arms and fly into that sea of stars. My bounty is as boundless as the sea, my love as deep. So what do you think of my acting? I'm only half joking, I do love you on this special day. If you see me tomorrow, greet me with a kiss~"

It happened so fast, Gabrielle was simply cleaning her blades and was about to leave for the regularly scheduled D&D session when she noticed a little pink butterfly flying in with a package. It was dressed with red, black and gold ribbons all over and she stared at it until the creature fluttered away. Like it was a bomb about go off. It nothing happened. So very carefully, she opened it up and peeked inside. Immediately she noticed the red with white polka dots fabric and upon pulling it out she realized that...it was a dress. A homemade dress with a belt and even a necklace to complete the look. She stared at it feeling her face grow warmer. Letting out a cough into her hand to hopefully stop her heart from beating any faster. Pulling the dress on her bed she quickly took the letter from the box, ignoring the box of chocolates she went off to her club. But she read the letter while walking increasingly faster.

"To my dear dragon. I hope this letter finds you well, I know you're probably blushing right now but I won't jest. I really hope you like my gifts, you can wear the dress the next time we go out. Preferably somewhere more private. If you want to give the chocolates to Tesa I don't mind at all. But know this, I love you so much. I love you and I can't wait to see you again."

Erin: ( turns away) So you want to go back to how things were. Is that what you're saying?

Flynn: .....I don't know. Being brave....is so hard. E-even now but- ( she takes a deep breath) I-I want to be a person who can at least try to be! S-so.....so!

Flynn: ( takes a step toward, taking Erin's hand) I want to get to know you, Erin!

Erin: ?!

Flynn: I-I always thought that- that being your friend was just some far off dream.

Erin: ....You really thought that?

Flynn: Y-yeah! Y-you were always so cool....a-and a little scary but....you were still always there. I-I would imagine t-talking to you, b-but never had the courage too.

Erin: ( shrugs) Eh. No offense, but I doubt I'd let you in, back then ( looks down at her hand in Flynn's) ......You really want to know me?

Flynn: ( nods, eyes brimming with determination) Y-yes!

Erin: .....Heh.( takes Flynn's hand, and grips it a little tighter. She smiles a little) The name's Erin. Nice to meet you.

Flynn: ( smiles with confidence that she thought would never exist) My name is Flynn! I hope we get along well!

pkmn interactions are rlly fun. Sometimes u get so far w a team u gotta create their own team dynamic and their own story. Even ships. Beau and Xenon get together mid-story and Bonnie and Clyde also have smth non-platonic going on there. Dynamite and Clementine (Cinccino) are also together. It’s oc ception -JJ

SO REAL!!!!

I so that a LOT with my oc teams. It's harder to do that in fangame teams bc I generally have A Lot of pokemon,and thus don't usually have the energy to give personality and thought into each and every one of them. However I think of all my ocs, I think the Rejuv trio has pokemon with the most defined personalities.

Imani: There's sooooo much i wanna talk about given her main team but hnnnnnng it'll be so long and I'll go insane. So I'm forcing myself to focus on June and Sunflower ( I mean there's gonna be mentions of others but it's mostly through said pokemon's perspective)

June ( Primarina, Male) is the leader of Imani's whole box, with Mira ( Nidoqueen) being his second in command. He's very much like Imani, someone who's bubbly, cheerful and always an optimist! Though upon evolving he became much more of a calming presence, and was really shining as a leader ( not that he wasn't before lol, just that fully evolving made him feel more sure of his ability to lead). Him and Mira have this " older brother, big sister" vibe towards the rest of the group, ESPECIALLY with Sunflower and Autumn ( Leafeon, male). His leadership has gotten the ire of Opal ( Milotic, male), and the two would often go back and forth a lot....though if you were to ask Mira, she would say something shifted in their arguments. They're softer, and tend to enjoy each other's company more. Either they don't realize what's shifting or don't want to realize it. Either way their relationship is getting a bit better day by day so! That's a plus, right?

Sunflower( Chandelure, female) is the youngest of the team! Well. If you want to be technical, she is older than all of them, but mentally and physically she's the youngest and acts like it. Ever since she was caught she had wanted nothing more than to explore everything and anything. Her curiosity tends to get her in trouble. A lot of trouble. And it doesn't help that she doesn't exactly have a filter so she's pretty blunt. But her team loves her so it's fine. As a mentioned before, June and Mira are like older siblings to her ( June miiiiiight tetter in fatherly figure), and she adoooores them. Whenever they're genuinely upset over something she did she gets so upset at herself. She just wanna help! Next to them, though, is Autumn, who is both her partner in crime, and also her biggest victim. I think Autumn is older than her, but only by a bit. Both of them are the youngest of their teams and thus, both tend to stick to each other. If you consider Sunflower pestering Autumn when he's brooding ( " I'm NOT brooding !" ) sticking together. They do care about each other though. Autumn is usually the one that tags along with Sunflower whenever she wanders off - mostly to make sure she doesn't get into any serious trouble. But also bc they do get into shenanigans together and it's fun! Despite his " I'm too cool for this" attitude ( me realizing he's basically a young teen compared to everyone else hgvhvgvgvcg), he's very protective of those he loves, including his little sister Sunflower... something that Sunflower never fails to point out! He always gets embarrassed about it when it's mentioned hvcfsghufhgdvd.

Flynn: Hopefully this will be shorter this time! Like Imani, I'm choosing two, but really these two are kinda Flynn's aces/ signature pokemon.

Sakura ( Meganium, male) was Flynn's first pokemon. Atm, how they met is kinda being rewritten since Flynn as a whole is getting a slight rework. Before, it was a starter pokemon given to her by the Blakeory's ( Flynn's parents had something going on with them - and no they weren't rich, this was very much a dept thing). But recently, upon realizing Flynn wouldn't have been born and raised in GDC ( she would be younger if she did), I think she met her Chikorita as an abandoned pokemon in Oblitus town ( she's from Oblitus Town btw). He would have been her first patient....and they've been attached ever since! Flynn is a very very shy person and Sakura....is not. He's much bolder than she is and isn't afraid to get defensive on her behalf. Even when he evolved, he never was afraid to confront things, and even pushing Flynn to get out of her comfort zone now and again. As for the relationship with his team it's. Nooooot as indepth as Imani's, sadly. I can say that he gets along with June very well, and probably picked fights with Opal on his behalf ( yes, it would be a losing battle both in terms of type weaknesses and Sakura being a more support/ defensive pokemon, but that's not gonna stop him lol). I think Sakura and June have a similar sibling esc relationship that Imani and Flynn has ( J: Oh I don't want to be mean... S: Don't worry, I do. J: Sakura!)Sakura kinda gives me the impression that you either vibe with him or you don't. He doesn't hold it against you if you don't as long as you're civil about it. He's very loyal, and isn't above confrontation as you've seen before. But he isn't foolhardy either.

Horis ( Hydregion, male) is kinda the start of Flynn collecting more pokemon. He's not the second she had, that's her Audino, but he's definitely the third. No he's not related to Dylan. Maybe. We'll see. The two met in the hospital, Horis being a Dieno that wouldn't let anyone near it despite its need for treatment. Flynn, by some miracle, was able to worm her way into his heart and he's been following her around ever since. Once a guarded dragon is now a big ol puppy. Loves Flynn, loves it when she pets him, loves it when she baby talks him, loves making her happy!!! I think that protectiveness has made it hard for him to get along with other pokemon though, especially as Flynn started expanding her team. He may be. A smidge jealous. Just a smidge. But I think he's overall a pleasure to be around. Very excitable, and while it will take a while for him to get used to anyone, he likes playing with others. Sometimes he forgets he's bigger than he used to be though lol. Sakura and him definitely had a bit of a rocky start. Sakura was concerned for Flynn's safety after what he's heard and Horis was privy to anyone who wasn't Flynn. Much to Flynn's pleasure, they gradually got along better as time went on ( specifically bc the girl got wrapped up in Plot and the both of them could agree that Flynn's wellbeing was more important than any distrust they had).

Arrow: .....maybe this will be shorter? Only one bc I'm losing steam aaaaaaaaah-

Firecracker ( Charizard, male) - Arguably the oldest of everyone I mentioned here, same as Arrow. Despite this and the scars that he has, he's genuinely a softy. Likes looking out for others, a great sparring partner and an amazing flying buddy. He's a sweetheart! He's known his team for a loooong time, with only a few recent additions I think. Him, Jester ( Gliscor, female) and Sunny ( Helioptile, male) go waaaaaay back to Arrow's youth, and are three peas in a pod. Not as bashful as Jester but not as outgoing as Sunny. A good balance and thus, is easy to talk too! I think the other younger pokemon look up to him ( something he gets bashful about hgbfgbnjfdfhj).

And that's it! God this was long. It reminded me I should think about my ocs pokemon to pokemon dynamic more. Imani's team is really fruitful in that regard but I feel like the others are lacking so. Yeah! Something to keep in mind.

what are your rejuv OCs opinions on neved? i love that man

Hmmm. That's hard bc I don't feel that much about Neved myself? Not saying that he's a bad character or anything, in fact he's really interesting! I love his story with him and Maman, and adore his relationship with the other xen members. I just haven't really clicked with him, ya know? Maybe i'll feel more about him when I get to replaying rejuv again( and even that's a maybe bc of how long it is).

What I can say, however, is that Imani's thoughts on Neved are mostly tied to her relationship with Maman - in which she feels sympathy for the man. Or maybe it's pity. I'm not sure. But I do think in learning more about Maman, she comes to understand Neved just a bit more. It doesn't shake off the fact that 1) he tortured one of her friends/ crush for no reason other than the fact that she was Keta's daughter. Which. Is just vile, in her eyes. And 2) was threatening to harm a whole island + actively aiming to hurt her and her friends. And there's what happened to Nancy. So. Uh. She can feel sorry for the man but I am unsure if she actually likes him or not. I feel like her thoughts on him will evolve whenever I get to replaying rejuv, though. I think it could be complicated, given what her past life was like,and how Imani views parents.

Flynn was just terrified of the man lol. She was there in terajuma and was having the worst month of her life ( spoiler: it gets worse for her!). Other than that, doesn't have much opinions on the man. Hopes she doesn't run into him in the future.

Arrow: Fuckiiiiiiiiinnnnnng hates the guy. Doesn't know him, never really battled him I think, but just the mere fact he's part of Team Xen makes Arrow hate him. I feel like if Arrow knew Neved's story, the hatred would only grow.

But much like Imani, maybe their opinion of Neved will change with a replay. I do think Neved is an interesting character, I just haven't clicked with him personally like I have with Maman.

Will - similar boat to Flynn except he was an interceptor and got the brunt of it. Fears him. Hates him. Happily doesn't think about him in Paragon.

Myo - Does not give a shit. Everyone gets a baseball bat to the head equally.

Rejuvenation

Imani Ambrose (she/her, 17-18) - An energetic and cheerful gal who wants nothing more than to protect her friends and make people smile! Her hope and determination for a better future knows no bounds! Though it can come at the cost of not listening to her own needs. She’s into fashion and has a bit of a mischievous streak!

Flynn Fujimori (she/her, 18-19) - A student from Axis High that aims to become a doctor….or at the very least, that’s what her parents want. Her parents want a lot of things from her, actually, and while she is good at medicine, she doesn’t really know what she wants for herself. Admires Risa greatly.

Arrow Chalcedony ( they/them, 25-26) - An ex bladestar grunt on the run not from the organization but those that were once close to them. Still with a heart of justice and rage, they can’t help but look out for Imani and Flynn when circumstances bring them together. Maybe then they’ll stop running away from their past, and face it head on.

Devil (he/him, Old, but physically looks like he’s in his 20’s or early 30’s. Haven't decided) - An entity that has been alive since…well the beginning of the universe and can only really be seen by Imani ( at least right now). He is very tight-lipped about his origins, only saying he is here to make sure Imani is on “the right path”. Pretty ironic for someone who names himself Devil. There’s a deep amount of sadness and regret in his eyes…though it seems to lessen whenever he speaks to Imani . Just a bit. He can still be an asshole though.

Will (he/him, 17-18/ 23) - In renegade he was an incredibly reluctant and scared person who followed the wrong lead…until he took matters into his own hands. A reset to everything, a desire to free himself from the role forced upon him, as well as to hope for a better future. In Paragon, he is a simple florist who has a loving partner and hangs out with his best friend Myo. How much does he know about his past life? Who knows.

Myo(sotis) Bluebell (they/them, 17-18/18-19) -  In Renegade, they were a half - servant, and an abrasive one at that. They valued their freedom, and had an incredible hot head. Despite this, they were a softie that valued their friendship with Will, and a love for small, cute things. Not that they would admit that. Their life in Renegade ended in tragedy, but in Paragon, they’re fully human, happier with no recollection of what their past life was like. Most of their worries are struggling to keep a job and accidentally running people over while skateboarding.

Isaodor Arkwright (he/him, 21-22?) - A man who presents himself like a kind, reliable and heroic sort. Underneath that mask is someone who is bitter with blood on his hands. Someone who so desperately wants to be the hero that he would end the world for the slim chance of being the one to “save” it. He got his due diligence though. Stabbed at the chest, and with Will’s wish, he was made to become a guide to whoever holds the interceptor title next. Any trace of who Isador is erased as a result. The world goes on without him.

Theodore "Teddy" Arkwright (he/him, somewhere in his 20’ or early 30’s???/21) A hero twin. The beloved one. Slain by his own brother who he adored, taken up by Spacea and Tiempa to become their perfect little soldier. He believed in them.He truly did. But once they didn’t need him anymore, he was disposed of. All he ever wished for him and his brother to be reunited again. In Paragon he…is an only child. And despite it having been all he has known, he can’t help but feel…lonely. But as always, he smiles and helps where he can. It’s what he's good for, after all.

Reborn

Leo Joshi ( he/him, 19-20) - Formerly a rich asshole, now a runaway to Reborn for a new start, and hopes of becoming a better person. He presents himself as cool and confident, but is constantly grappling with his self-loathing and desire to be seen as good. Still, he tries- even when he’s trusted as the hero of a region, he tries. The amount of cats he collects is a big bonus though. 

Suraya Indu Joshi ( she/her, 22-23) -  Leo’s older sister who followed her missing brother to Reborn. To many on the outside, she’s the perfect older sister, destined for great thing…things that have already been decided for her, as the oldest. And she believed it too but…maybe she can start thinking of herself. But first, she must find Leo. She practically raised him after all.

Blair Winters (xe/xem/they/them, 24-25) - An assassin for hire turned bodyguard after getting hired by Suraya to travel with her around Reborn in search of her brother. Xe are cold as is, more so focused at the task at hand rather than any emotional attachment. They have many demons, as well as a deep hatred for Team Meteor…so maybe xyr heart isn’t frozen over as xe thought.

Lilith Winters( she/they, 12 at death) - Blair’s younger sister and the light of xyr life. She was always an oddball, her bluntness and dislike of lying grew irritable to some. Still, she was ever the optimist, choosing to believe in the good of others time and time again. She’s gone now…..and yet, they can’t help but linger. They don’t like seeing Blair so sad.

Nightingale “Gale” ( they/she, 18-19) - A protagonist of the zekrom route. A wannabe musician that hails from Orre in order to find their long lost older half-brother. They quickly find the man, only to realize he’s part of a terrorist group. So now she has it her personal mission to beat said group to the ground and get their brother some much needed therapy. 

Sasha - A high ranking meteor member that acts as their last line of defense before the big-wigs come to play. He doesn’t act all that menacing though…in fact he’s rather friendly, if not a big flirt. Nor does he seem so jazzed about Team Meteor as a whole. Still, he’s rather secretive, a man who holds his cards close to his chest, and walls are up rather tight. Just who is this guy?

Desolation

Asra Reverie ( they/them, 20) - A goth that carries a parasol around them everywhere. They were known to be calm and collected, someone that people can rely on. And they upheld this fact- someone has to keep everyone grounded. Though they do have a more intense side, with their competitiveness and their deep passion for battling. Overall, they are a pleasant person to be around, especially when chatting over a cup of tea

Lupe Caballero (he/she, 21) - The eldest of two siblings and a pokemon ranger, Cande is an extremely warm force to those that know him. He works hard to not only provide for her family, but also in general, wants to help where she can! This does mean he ends up pushing himself a bit too hard, something that has been a source of arguments between her and her little brother. But! As long as his siblings are happy and healthy - emphasize on the healthy - then she’s happy.

Philomena ( she/her, physically 28) - A strange and mysterious woman that Asra sees frequently throughout their journey. She’s rather carefree, too carefree some might say, and seems to allude to things than can, or has, happened. She seems to know a lot more behind that causal smile of hers but also…nothing at all? What an odd woman indeed.

Sometimes xe are so comfortable with said person that xe end up falling asleep when that person is simply running their hand through xyr hair. Also xyr hair is very fluffy.

Suraya - Ever since she cut her hair, she likes gently playing with Saphira 's when they have some downtime together. Edit: Heh, accidental soft hair hcs.

Flynn - Horis, her Hydregion, sometimes like to cuddle with her at night. He's a big ol pillow for her.

I'm.....not really sure! Flynn is a rather timid and fearful person in general but I don't know about any irrational fears. Same with Blair and Raya.

Blair - I think Blair gives off the vibe of someone who is incredibly cold hearted and distant. Which. Was the case lol. But xe gradually got better and more open.

Suraya - She....always was assumed to be the responsible one. And she is. But that kinda defined her to the point that she doesn't really know who she is outside of that. Suraya is responsible, yes, but it comes with a lot of weight and lack of knowing ones self.

Flynn - Everyone and there mother knows that Flynn is shy and gets spooked fairly easily ( not counting horror movies). So no one expects her to be a pokemon trainer, let alone battle, let alone battle in such a high stakes situation. And well. Neither did she but here she is!!!!

🌌 MILKY WAY - what was the inspiration behind your oc? what was the first thing you decided about them?

For all of them, they were based off the canon protags in some way! Suraya is arguably the most different from Lucia though, outside of skintone, hair and eye color. Flynn was based on Aevia and Blair was based on Decibel!

🦊 (fox) - How intelligent is your oc? Are they a mastermind pulling all the strings? Or are they more dim-witted with a big heart? If they are smart, what do they use their intelligence for? To create? To get ahead?

Hrmmmmm. When it comes to intelligence I generally think of Flynn. Not saying my other ocs are idiots lol, I think they're all fairly smart - I think what I'm thinking of is that Flynn is very book smart. She has a high education, a prodigy honestly, and is good at understanding big heaps of information at a time. I wouldn't say she's a mastermind ( that would be her cousin. Or at least he tries to be LMAO). As for what her intelligence is used for....well, originally, her intelligence was used by her parents to get ahead in life. Not for her sake lol, for theirs. Now she often uses it to help others....so not fully unlike how it was before, but now it's something by her own volition. She hopes one day she can travel and simply explore and learn more about the world though.

🥭 (mango) - What is your character’s general outlook on life? Are they a pessimist, optimist, realist or something else? Whatever they may be, how does this outlook affect the way they live their life?

Asra, I don't talk about them much. I....would say Asra is a realist leaning to optimists. Their whole thing is that they are rather grounded, the rock for everyone. They have this presence that's generally calming and I feel that reflects in their mindset. They keep things grounded to reality, but aren't opposed to a more idealistic view point - I think they would encourage it even, but at a healthy amount. They mention more negative outcomes not as a way of being pessimistic, but simply laying all possibilities on the table. Though I think they would prefer not too.

🔥 (fire) - What drives your character in life? Is it a belief? A person? A goal? Whatever it is, what do they want from it and what are they willing to do to get it?

Flynn never really had much motivation for herself, rather than simply trying to appease her parents. It wasn't until the night are school where she wanted to do something for herself for once and ended up rather recklessly deciding that she'll join Imani and everyone else in their efforts to stop Team Xen. Is she over her head? Maybe! But she likes Imani and Arrow a lot and wants to prove that she can be useful, so she's here to stay :)

Arrow used to run on vengeance, when they were apart of Bladestar. But after running away, most of drive came from staying hidden from said team. What drives them now? Well....I think they still want revenge on Team Xen like before. I don't think that ever gone away, just that it isn't all consuming like it was before. They also desire to keep Imani and Flynn safe, not wanting to have them carry anymore burdens on their own anymore.

🌅 (sunrise) - What does your oc look forward to every day? Do they have something to look forward to in the first place? What makes them wake up in the morning? Why do they want to be alive?

Before joining Imani, Flynn would always look forward to her trips to the garden within the city or route 9. Those are her moments where she gets to get away from the city life and simply relax with nature. Post joining Imani, I'm not sure, outside of simply being with her new friends. I think the newfound purpose she feels with her life - finally going something on her own accord and not something that her parents wanted

Arrow, I feel, always liked the smaller things in life. They're the type of person who wakes up early,gets some tasks done and maybe fly around in the sky to watch a sunrise. I think the hope of a better tomorrow pushes them a lot. But also their own anger and desire for revenge. I don't think it ever truly gone away, even after joining Imani n Co. They just got a lot better at managing it. Living another day means spiting those who has caused them great harm so. They keep on going. Plus, now they have the new goal of looking after Imani and Flynnn

✴️ (eight-pointed star) - Is there anyone your oc admires or looks up to? What qualities of this person does your oc admire? Do they want to be like this person one day?

Flynn admires Imani's positive attitude and bravery. She also admires Erin's bluntness and ability to stand up for herself. She ultimately wants to be true to herself one day, but also wishes to as brave and as forward as Imani and Erin!

Arrow admired their mother's optimism and can do attitude, as well as their father's calm demeanor. They're gone now, but they're both people Arrow looks up to and still do.

🐦‍🔥 (phoenix) - What has your oc had to overcome to get to where they are now? Were the challenges emotional or physical? Would you say they had to go through a “rebirth”? How did they change, if at all?

Ooooooo boy. Flynn is kinda in a weird spot right now, but I know for a fact that she had to break free from her own restrictions, as well as what others expected of her. This is shown with her parents, of course, but also her relationship with Risa - even if I'm currently reworking that lol. Flynn had zero confidence in herself once, simply doing what others told her to do. It was very hard to get her out of that mindset. Terajuma was something needed for her, as traumatic as it was, since she was put in a situation outside of her parents, her school, her peers. In a weird way, it was freedom to just be that put her on the path she is now. Again, it was all very terrifying, and definitely scarred her but. Overall, it was a push in the right direction.

Arrow feels kinda self explanatory. They're anger towards Xen led them to Bladestar, only to realize Bladestar is Terrible and had to make a run for their life getting out. On the road they kinda became a shell of themself? Still Arrow, but....more of a coward. Not willing to confront their past, to simply run from it. Terajuma is like. A big breaking point for everyone, huh? Cause being forced to see old faces, interact with them again, etc all ultimately got Arrow rethinking their approach to everything. Realizing how running away isn't going to fix anything. So yeah, I guess you can say they do get "reborn" into a more fiery version of themself,haha.

Imani's birthday possibly happened somewhere during chapter 13?? ( which is soooo funny given that's where she meets ren again) ( October 21)

And Arrow's birthday happens during the training arc in chapter 15, specifically a day before melia and erin train together. ( November 14)
