the fact that the only reason anais can even attempt to resist those dream sequences with eilynn is the fact that she knows real eilynn would neve be so lovey-dovey with her.. the fact that it all seems so sweet but anais knows its all fake and that the only reason she can actually attempt to push her away is the fact that her dearest friend has been dead for years.. the poetic cinema of all that.. accepting the death of your loved ones.. learning to let go.. it hits me right in the feels
