So, after posting my fancast the other day, we have finally arrived at the OCs that go with it!! Honestly, I’m so excited to share these babies with you guys; Monster High was one of my first hyperfixations ever, and despite how long it’s been since I properly interacted with it, I’ve never stopped loving it. So without further ado, please observe my beautiful freaky babies!!

(Also gonna tag my beloveds @manyfandomocs and @ginevrastilinski-ocs, because I know they’ve been waiting for this!! <3)

Nyx Darkfeather, a fallen angel, Jackson/Holt ship. The daughter of two angels who fell from Heaven. A new student at Monster High because her parents homeschooled her for a long time, scared of her being hurt for what she is since fallen angels are so rare. Very stone-faced, blunt, and closed-off, but eventually gets pulled into Frankie’s friend group after they make it their mission to befriend her, and winds up slowly being endeared by Jackson and Holt. Pretty powerful as the child of two angels, with umbrakinesis and some psychic powers, but she doesn’t use them very often. Also becomes besties with Twyla, since they’re both very used to the shadows.

Aiko Inoue, daughter of the Slit-Mouthed Women, Deuce ship. An exchange student from Japan who eventually decides to stay and learn at Monster High. Kind of has a bad reputation at first because of her mother and how quiet she is, but eventually people start to warm up to her. Gets close to Deuce after she gets assigned to tutor him in History of the Undead shortly after he and Cleo break up, and they eventually wind up becoming a super cute couple. Intensely shy and awkward and often uses her spirit powers to turn invisible or disappear for long periods of time, but also very caring and loyal. Becomes really good friends with the hybrids, especially Neighthan and Serena.

Chester Hoppington, a wererabbit, Gil ship. Only attends Monster High in person part-time because he cares for his eight younger siblings while his parents work. An incredible artist who meets Gil when he decides to go swimming in the school pool while Chester is there doing a drawing of the water. Incredibly sweet and caring as a result of having to be a babysitter so often, but also surprisingly stubborn and never afraid to speak out for the people he cares about. Has bunny ears and a little tail, and also has a habit of rapidly tapping his feet when he’s frustrated or angry. Eventually gets pulled into the ghouls’ friendship, and even becomes really good friends with Lagoona despite her and Gil being exes.

Matthew Steam, a robot, Frankie ship. Robecca’s “twin” brother since Hezekiah built them at the same time, and got dismantled shortly after her when he tried to confront the Gargoyles about what they did to her. A lot more socially awkward than his sister, but surprisingly adjusts to modern life a lot easier because he was always more interested in science and mechanics and he gets incredibly excited about all the new advancements. A total nerd who goes on a lot of excited rants about his interests, which Frankie is only too happy to listen to. Also an iconic sibling duo with Robecca.

Bonita Calaveras, a skeleton, Heath ship. Skelita’s older sister by eleven months, so they’ve always been in the same school year. Does the transfer with her sister and Jinafire, because she’s always seen it as her job to protect Skelita. Tries to keep Heath away from Skelita when she learns how much of a flirt he is, but just winds up falling for him instead. Fiercely loving and protective of those she cares about, but also sometimes forgets to take care of herself. The best sibling duo with Skelita, and also comes really good friends with Jinafire because they enjoy judging people together.

Dabria Yelps, a zombie, Draculaura ship. Ghoulia’s younger sibling who uses they/she pronouns, and definitely the more creativity-minded of the two; an incredible writer who wants to publish romance novels one day. Also a hopeless lesbian who falls in love with Draculaura almost the moment they meet her, but it takes a while for them to get together because Draculaura still needs to get over her breakup with Clawd and Dabira is way too awkward to properly confess for the longest time. She’s also best friends with Howleen and Twyla, and kinda goes through it for a bit during the whole Shadow Genie ordeal.

Gaia Nature, child of Mother Nature, Abbey ship. Homeschooled in the forest for a good portion of their life, but finally allowed to attend Monster High because they’ve always wanted to meet more kids their age. A total and complete sweetheart because they’ve always been taught to be kind to all living creatures, but also tends to be kind of naïve and overly trusting because they haven’t really been around actual people very much. They and Abbey are a total opposites attract couple, but Abbey is very soft for them and also manages to toughen them up a bit, so they work very well together. Definitely besties with Rochelle, Robecca, and Venus, and frequently teams up with Venus on environment-saving endeavors.

Chord Nightingale, a siren, Manny ship. Head of the Monster High choir, which Manny is forced to join as a punishment from Headmistress Bloodgood after beating up another student. Totally outgoing and sunshiney, which doesn’t allow him to get long with Manny at first. Mostly confident but also scared of ever accidentally enchanting someone with his siren song after an incident that happened when he was a kid that he’s never told anyone about. Eventually grows close to Manny and the two of them start to open up to each other, until they finally get together. Doesn’t really have many friends despite being a social butterfly, but eventually becomes pretty close with the ghost crew - Operetta, Scarah, Serena, and Johnny Spirit - and they become kind of an iconic group.

Ok so I have some…big plans. Huge plans for my ocs that need to be discussed before I go through with them. This was going to be refined a bit more but yolo. Think of this as the real first intro to Aiko and Daia

Daia had been waiting outside of the hideout for quite some time, watching the sun rise as the minutes went on. The envoy, who was coming on behalf of Konoha, was not late by any means; but it was better to be early than be unprepared. This was something engrained in Daia from before her days in Otogakure, appearing to be at the ready before anyone else put you ahead of them. A meeting concerning trade was scheduled to take place later that morning, still far too early for any reasonable person. The aforementioned envoy she was meeting was said to be a girl around the same age as her, coming by herself. This wasn’t odd, seeing as it was the first meeting between the two villages. It almost made Daia chuckle to herself, imagining some hopeless girl thrusted into danger as a sacrifice. Typical of such a selfish village, in her mind.

A few brief moments passed before a person came into view. The information she had been given was true, the envoy was in fact a teenage girl. She was far shorter than Daia, stockier too. Her hair was white and her eyes were wide, almost innocent looking. Her stride wasn’t confident, she could discern that from a mile away. Despite the cold and dry weather, she was dressed in a short skirt. The nasty gear’s in the otonin’s mind began to turn, the venomous envy seeping in. Daia had made up her mind: she did not like this envoy. But alas, personal feelings weren’t something that belonged in this situation.

Stepping away from the entrance, Daia lifted her skirt as she bowed. “Welcome to Otogakure, may you find yourself of use here.”

“Greetings to you too,” the girl bowed back. “Why’d you do that thing with your skirt?”

“Please state your name and reasoning for being here today.” The taller girl ignored the question, her eye slightly twitching despite her robotic tone.

“Oh, right, right! My name is Furuhonya Aiko, I am here on behalf of Konoha for trade dealings.” The girl, now known as Aiko, explained. She kept shifting slightly on her feet, another sign of weakness in the other girl’s eyes.

Quickly activating her Jutsu, Daia began to comb through Aiko’s mind silently. She wasn’t lying, that’s for sure, but her thoughts seemed to be erratic. At the same time, there seemed to be a certain fuzziness overtaking certain thoughts. The latter of the two observations revealed that the shorter girl was a tad scared.

“Come with me. I shall show you to my lord.” With a graceful turn of her heel, the diplomat began walking into the hideout. Not looking back, she was followed by clunkier footsteps.

As the two walked side by side through the candlelit halls, the only sound emanating being the steady drip of some kind of wetness, Daia began observing the other girl. Aiko kept looking around, not entirely focused on where she was supposed to be going. The flickering of the candles seemed to be more important. She wasn’t seasoned, that’s for sure, but she held a certain charm. Being charming got you nowhere as a messenger, especially paired with her cowardice. If anything, she could break Aiko in one simple-

“So…what about you?” Aiko piped up, turning her head to meet the taller ninja.

“Hm?” Was all she received in response.

The white haired girl’s face twitched a bit. “You know, like your name? What you do? Maybe a hobby if I'm lucky? Cool abilities?”

Behind her cold demeanor, Daia was fuming. “My name is Inoue Daia. I am a diplomat and an interrogator. That is all you get to know about me.”

“Ok, uhh…that’s a pretty name! Very unique!” She tried to recover, but failed miserably. The dismay was evident by her facial expression.

The rest of the walk went without a word, just footsteps as the two descended. Daia kept mulling her thoughts around in her mind, expression almost unreadable. The right thing to do was to stay quiet until she reached Orochimaru, but Aiko seemed too annoying to grant that simple mercy.

“You are from Konoha, yes? Born and raised?” The otonin asked, suddenly stopping.

“Yes, actually! I live with my grandma in the village, nothing special really.” The girl’s tone instantly turned upwards, her expression matching it.

“So you know of Lord Orochimaru, seeing as he was once a legend in your village?” Daia leaned in, hands behind her back.

This gained a reaction out of the other girl. “Wait. ‘Lord’ O-Orochimaru? As in the lord you previously mentioned? As in the one we’re-“

“You ask too many questions.”

“As in the one we’re going to meet right now?!” Those wide, green eyes showed clear fear.

“Were you not provided with that information? Is your village that incompetent?” Daia openly scoffed.

Aiko began stroking the strip of hair that laid over her shoulder. “I was only told about you…you’ll be in the room with me, right?”

“We shall see.” A partial lie, she wouldn’t be in the room, but instead standing outside of it

As there was no immediate need for Daia within the actual discussion, she was officially tasked with “watching the door”. While the diplomat was known for her efficacy, actually protecting the people within the other room was the least of her concern. She couldn’t hear much, and Orochimaru would most likely sense her eavesdropping, so just standing close by would do. Not too much could be discerned, aside from Kabuto’s grating voice peeking through occasionally. It didn’t seem too worth it to keep listening in, so Daia backed off. Lighting a cigarette, the girl stared off into the flickering darkness of the hallway.

Moments later, Aiko exited the room. Her head was lung low and her eyes were red rimmed, matching her undershirt. Slowly realizing that she wasn’t alone in the hallway, the white haired girl quickly wiped at her face.

“The meeting’s over,” she sniffled, “T-they said you’d see me out.”

Without another word shared, they began the trek back. The same evil vile gears began to turn within Daia’s head again, but this time seemingly reversing. Aiko was not the perfect little princess the other girl thought she was, far from it. She could barely handle the assignment given to her, something that the diplomat would handle in minutes. Instead of disgust, a feeling of endearment began to creep in. The envoy was not unlike a wounded rabbit, bleeding out on the forest floor. Daia wanted to scoop her up, keep her within captivity-

“That guy…Kabuto I think, is he always like that?” a flat voice suddenly rang out, echoing slightly off the marbled pillars.

“Yes, and unfortunately he is allowed to get away with it. I never did like him.” Daia admitted, her hands returning to the front of her body.

Green eyes made their way back to her, a bit of light returning to them. “He kept speaking to me like I was a baby, I can see why no one would like him.”

“Between the two of us, both him and Lord Orochimaru are insufferable. Two power hungry fools, really. They were made for each other.”

“That’s…the most emotion I’ve heard out of you so far. You’re different from them.” A small smile found its way back on Aiko’s face.

The two eventually ended up where they started, returning to the daylight after being wrapped in candlelit darkness. Daia had begun to leave, her task had been completed, but she was suddenly stopped by a hand gripping her wrist.

“Before I leave, I wanted to ask you something.” The shorter girl started, grinding her foot into the grass.

Daia's nose scrunched up. “Make it quick.”

“Sure, sure,” Aiko let go of her wrist. “Would you…would you like to try to be friends? I know it’s unprofessional but you know, us girls gotta stick together.”

“...I am not opposed.” It took almost everything in her to force that out.

“Cool, cool. I feel almost drawn to you, I can’t explain it…” she trailed off. “Oh well, I guess that’s something for another day. Goodbye Daia!”

As Aiko strode towards the light, Daia returned to the darkness of the hideout. The white haired girl clearly did not belong there, but the otonin would find a way to ensure that she’d be staying there indefinitely.

“I WANT HER ĎÈAD.” Daia swung the ornate doors open, storming into her lord’s chambers.

“Now, Daia, I do not condone needless murder all the time.” Orochimaru responded, not even looking up at her.

“You do not understand, I have these feelings of abject rage that then morph into possessiveness! That foul witch has cursed me!”

“Don’t we all, Daia.” He still didn’t acknowledge her, “Maybe you should take this up with Kabuto instead of me.”

This seemed to set the diplomat off even more. “I do not want to speak to that bottom feeding sissy! I feel like I am losing my mind, I cannot make sense of anything! I don’t understand these feelings, Lord Orochimaru!”

Finally turning to the younger girl, who had draped herself over his chair, Orochimaru thought for a moment. “You have fallen for this girl, haven't you?”

“And if I did? You are in no position to speak about such a thing, considering your arrangement with him.”

‘This would impact your work, disregard it.’ Was fresh on the snake’s tongue, but a more sinister thought arose. “Seeing as she is still the enemy, do what you would like with her, Daia. I will not stop you.”

She perked up after hearing this, “anything I’d like?”

“As long as she remains alive…for now.”

“I can settle on that.”

Yes a lot ! Except when I'm proofreading otherwise I can't focus. Someone ask me the same question I went more in details that might interest you here

11- Books and/or authors who influenced you the most

Oh there is too many people but I'll say what inspired me for this fic especially

Eiji Yoshikawa who wrote a fiction about the life of famous swordman Musashi Miyamoto (who will inspired Takeshi Inoue to draw Vagabond by the way).

Miyamoto Musashi himself wrote his memoirs in the book of five rings.

Sun Zu and the Art of War.

Sei Shonagon she was a writer from the Heian court in the 10th century

Murasaki Shikibu, an other noble writer from the Heian court, she wrote the famous book The tales of Genji, and my Genji Hikaru is a direct hommage to hers. In her book, the prince is a poet running for honour and ladies and mine is like the dark version : "Naahh I don't want to do poetry...I wanna fight Madara Uchiha and conquer the world."

Ibn Khaldun a 14th century historian and philosopher, who wrote a universal history book called Muqaddimah. There is theories about civilisations cycles, sociology and economy.

G.R.R. Martin for his way to always surprise and trick the readers. I love how he built his plots.

Michel of Greece who is an actual European prince and an author, he wrote a lot of fictions based on historical figures. My favourite is Louis XIV, the other side of the sun a fiction about the life of the King of France who took back his power after having beeing traumatized by a nobles rebellion in his youth.

The clan of the Otori from Lian Hearn.

J.K. Rowling for the whole Harry Potter saga. I love her world building it's not too big like GRR martin, it's the right size.

Victor Hugo for Les Miserables and his poetry.

Talking about poetry hard to not mention, Arthur Rimbaud, Baudelaire, John Keats and Rumi. I'm obsessed by them.

Not a book in particular but the real japanese warring state era (from 1467 to 1615 BC) is a source of inspiration with his most famous figures : Oda Nobunaga, Ieyasu Tokugawa, Hideyoshi Toyotomi

24- Favourite genre to write and read

Without a surprise I like historical stories, with large world building intrigues and conspiracy. It's just an excuse for me to talk about everything at once lol : society, politics, psychology, war, love, family issue you name it... In future I'd like to write a romance, it's a bit a challenge because I don't think I'm really good at it. But I love true romance, not teenage love where there is nothing to loose. but when two characters have to deal a relationship which challenge their values and involve the world around them.

And a tend to read less fiction nowadays because I watch tv shows instead. But now I read more things who will teach me something like essay on philosophy and sociology and spirituality.

I'll take this opportunity to clarify who she is since I talked with some of my readers and there was some ambiguity (I'll rewrite it later when the book is finished) . She's not blood-related to Madara or Izuna. She has her own family. Madara's mother were her wet nurse and she breastfed both Izuna and Aiko in the same time. Both families were very close to the point Aiko can come inside Tajima's house without knocking the door. She was very loved by Madara's mother. In a way she was the daughter she never had. For Madara she was like a little sister.

The idea for this character came one day while I was scrolling instagram and I saw this video :

At the time I knew I wanted an OC who won't be a kunoichi to force Madara out of his comfort zone. But I have no idea of who? how? where? when? Then I see this mysterious girl dancing on a beach with so much grace and confidence, and yet we can't see her face... I knew that was this energy I was looking for. And then her backstory slowly flourish from there. For now (chapter 6) you don't know enough about her, but later it will make sense to you all.

[Daisuke Ando]: 0/10. Corpses cannot hug.

Vinícius Mata: 3/10. He doesn’t have much experience; he requests some time to study before trying again.

Sylvianne Dubois: 6/10. She’s hesitant at first, but soon her enthusiasm surfaces.

Bai Xue: 7/10. A pleasant scent lingers long after her embrace has ended.

Peter Paole: 4/10. Stiff and perfunctory.

Hashirou Minami: 5/10. He’s awkward but well-meaning.

Aneta Slaski: 3/10. She’s too nervous to make proper contact.

Alissa Grigori: 5/10. Swift and solid. An acceptable hug.

Hotaru: 6/10. She’s not bad, but you get the impression she’s mocking you internally all the while.

Kimi Yoshida: 7/10. She’s inexperienced, but she tries her best.

Eleuterio Torres: 4/10. Surprisingly comforting, but you wish it ended much sooner than it does.

Nozomi: 8/10. She’s a small girl who loves hugs!!

Kenji: 7/10. He’s a small boy who also loves hugs!! But he does get impatient if it goes on for too long.

Chizue Nakahara: 8/10. Her strength of mind bolsters your spirits.

Michi Takahashi: 6/10. Overzealous yet endearing.

Dael Cantor: 3/10. She has much better things she could be doing, you know.

Guistino Ferro: 7/10. He protests, but he gets into it once it’s been initiated.

Beatrix Godebert: 5/10. Nice, but over in a flash.

Melanthios Pachis: 4/10. His hugs are a bit too tight.

Mayeso Kaphiri: 5/10. Mechanically perfect, but you can’t get a read on what he’s thinking.

Bernard Porcher: 1/10. You feel a distant desire to get away. You don’t know how you got here. It’s so cold…

Miki Inoue: 7/10. She’s eager to comfort you for as long as you will allow her.

Hideyuki Aoki: 8/10. Surprisingly nice. He has a gentle demeanor.

Seishirou Kaiyou: 6/10. He’s more than adequate, but after all, there’s work to be done.
