My FIRST ever Sonic OC's backstory

Time to FINALLY talk about an OC I made when I was like... TEN. But I was never able to find a good way to show her off.

This is Nadia the Hedgehog (ナディア・ザ・ヘッジホッグ). She was originally named "Shadina" and was a bit of a "Mary Sue". But after I got into so many fandoms after STH, I decided to destroy the original idea and remade her from the ground up and renamed her "Nadia".

Like Shadow, she is a Black Arms/Hedgehog hybrid who was codenamed "Project NADIA". She was basically made to be Shadow's partner and to make sure he did not sway from their purpose. But once the raid happened, Nadia was put into a secret escape pod and managed to escape. She then spent the past fourty-seven years in hiding and watched over the people of Central City.

During the year of Sonic Adventure, she met Emma the Cougar (another OC of mine) who was a manager from Shining Star Records, a very popular music company. She asked Nadia to be a part of SSR after hearing her singing voice which was very beautiful. Nadia refuses at first due to viewing Emma as just some random civilian. After saving Emma from some rogue Black Arms aliens with her singing that seemed to hypnotize them to retreat, she decides to become a part of SSR and has Emma be her manager.

In the AU that I've come up with, she is the one who sings "Open Your Heart", which ends up making her a bit popular with the people. In Sonic Adventure 2, which would take place about two years after the first Adventure game, you would see some billboards of her doing brand deals like showing off a new jewelry line, putting on a new brand of lipstick, and drinking from a "Nadilshake", which is just a French vanilla and dark chocolate milkshake, showing that she has gotten even MORE popular. As for the songs she sings, she does both "Escape from the City" and "Live and Learn".

Gairin the Nightmare AKA The Chaos Gaia. A part of Dark Gaia that was infected and corrupted by the Positive Chaos Energy of Super Sonic and later expunged from the original entity to preserve the balance between light and darkness. He roams the world with only fractures of memories from his creator revolving around Sonic, hence taking on the form of the Blue Blur, and has gone into hiding on the surface world looking for answers to his identity. Gairin's no longer connected to Dark Gaia due to the Positive Chaos energy's corruption severing his link to the Dark God, and giving him a sentient, individual, and independent mind. He doesn't crave destruction or mayhem as those primal instincts were burned away by the Positive Chaos energy, The fusion of Dark Gaia essence and Positive chaos energy created a new and powerful force of chaotic neutral alignment, creating a balance between good and evil in his heart.
