"Fuck" She breathed as she heard footsteps approaching the door. Scrambling she looked for where she could hide him, he wasnt supposed to be here. Cody and Summer panically looked at each other as they broke away from their kiss.

"Fuck, Fuck, Fuck." She scrambeled straighting her sheets "Cody where am i going to hide you??"

"The pillow?"

"No, I'm going to act like I'm sleeping i don't want you to suffocate."

"Shoot, under the blanket?"

"Even worse. My dad might want to talk and would probs sit on you."

"ew"

The footsteps became heavier. Summer and Cody were freaking out as she reached to flip the lamp off and position herself so it looked like she was asleep. In a hurry she grabbed him and laid on her stomach, Cody underneath her cocooned between clothed flesh and sheets.

"Humph" Cody whimpered at the sudden movement.

"sorry" she whispered as she put on her best fake sleep face.

The door twisted open.

Cody felt Summers racing heartbeat on top of him. She was afraid of being caught secretly hiding her lover. Though her parents loved Cody but they probably wouldn't appreciate him over without their knowledge, in their daughters bed…

Summers dad walked into the room making his way to the bed where they lay.

Cody could have swore that he could have heard his hummingbird heartbeat and smell the cologne Summer got him for his birthday. He bent leaning over Summer.. this was it this was the part they got caught.. but he smiled.

"goodnight sweetpea" he said leaving a peck on her forehead as he walked away closing the door.

Cody patted her chest asking if the coast was clear. A small "no" groan came from Summer, the footsteps outside became fainter and the lights peeking under the door went out. She pulled up from her position, him beneath her elbows looking down on him.

"Sorry I couldn't think of anything else" she said, Cody's clothes wrinkled and hair a blonde mop, "you look like shit sorry."

Leaning in she ran her finger through his hair trying to make it less messy. His cheeks flushed from the predicament that happened moments ago. They sat in silence for a bit as she messed with his hair.

"You know.."

"huh?"

"I didn't mind it, I felt so comfy and warm." Cody said with a soppy grin.

"Oh. My. Gosh. you Doofus"

They giggled as they went back to laying together.
