do my way too many yuu ocs have a dorm uniform for ramshackle and would i take the time to design them if they do?
yume asta: the girl's an idol, yes of course she has one that they designed with the help of sue. i would maybe actually design it.
yume rosalia: they are but an eepy baby. no time to make one for ramshackle.
silvester hatter: if harper was also taken to nrc? yes because he'd be so dramatic if there wasn't one. since it's just her, no.
yuu: they're currently making one right now. yes i would design it.
yuki (riddle got fucking isekai'd au): they aren't in ramshackle, L.
the yuu siblings (yukari, yuuki, yume): yes but they're wildly different from each other. yes i would design them.
apocalypse (doesn't have a name yet): riddle helps design one while they survive together and after the apocalypse ends, she asks crewel to help make it. yes i would design it since it'll be somewhat like luna nova's uniform from little witch academia.
dystopia (also doesn't have a name): nrc doesn't even exist here.

Chapter 1
"The U.A. High"
“… Y… Yuki…”
‘That voice… Who…?’
“Run!!!”
‘Why does it sound familiar?’
“THEY’LL KILL YOU!!! RUN!”
‘Why…?’
Cold sweat was mixing with heavy tears as they raced down towards the just-awoken girl’s pillow. The room was filled with the morning sun, tickling her face, the early breeze washing over her, granting her oh-so-much-needed oxygen. Choking down on her shallow breaths, she abruptly sat up, causing a headache to kick in. She felt her heart pound in her chest, as she clenched the cloak of her blanket, but a sudden knock on the door gave her little time to worry about it.
“Yuki!” A small, red-headed girl in a pink pajama barged in, immediately plopping down at the girl’s bed feet by her feet. “I heard you crying! Are you okay? Is it the nerves kicking you?”
“No…” She replied calmly, watching the red-headed girl’s fox tail wiggle and ears press down on her head. “Nothing to worry about, Ayumi, just a nightmare.”
“Oh… The same as before?” Ayumi’s voice was soft, yet full of concern. She sat up, deep green eyes looking straight ahead.
“Yeah… I… I can’t seem to remember who was it, but I feel like I know them…”
“What if it’s just a horror movie you watched before?” Orange tail proceeded to flutter from side to side.
“With my name in it? I don’t think so.”
“Oh! What if…” Suddenly a woman’s voice rang from outside the door, interrupting the theory-making train.
“Girls! If you don’t get up, you’re gonna be late for school!”
“Sorry, Mom! We’ll get ready in a second!” The fox-like girl jumped from the bed, excitedly dashing out to the bathroom. “Come on, Yuki! Today is a huge day!”
Exhaling a deep sigh, Yuki groaned quietly, rubbing her eyes. She was still half-asleep and half-shaken up. The unknown voice kept echoing in the back of her mind, making her anxious. She slowly got up from her bed, walking up to the full-height mirror by her desk. She looked the same. Short messy white hair with random blue strands that barely reached her shoulders, and bloodshot dark blue eyes with a hint of exhaustion. Somehow her light skin seemed even paler as if she had just been revived from the dead.
She headed to the bathroom to wash up and at least make herself look presentable. As Ayumi mentioned before, it was a big day for her. It was her first day at the U.A. High, №1 ranked high school for heroes in Japan. In a world, where superpowers exist, where having none would be considered weird, a Hero was the most prestigious profession. Everyone dreamed of becoming a hero, but very few people could ever reach this goal.
Shimizu Yuki was one of those few who got accepted.
And she didn’t plan on failing it.
~ ~ ~
Smoothening out her uniform, Yuki gazed at herself in the mirror for the last time before heading to get breakfast. The uniform itself was surprisingly stylish – a long-sleeve, button-up white shirt, a gray jacket with blue-green stripes, a red tie with a golden button on it, and a dark blue-green pleated skirt. Grabbing her school bag, she finally headed downstairs where she was greeted by a pleasant smell of bacon.
Her 14-year-old sister, Ayumi, was rocking excitedly on her chair. She squealed as soon as she saw Yuki entering the kitchen.
“YUKI, YOU LOOK AWESOME!” Ayumi exclaimed, earning a gentle but firm smack on the head with a wooden spoon.
“Ayumi, how many times have I told you to behave at the table?” That voice that called the girls out of Yuki’s room spoke sternly. The same fox-looking tall woman stared down at her daughter, raising an eyebrow.
“I know, mom, but I’m just so excited! Can you believe it?! Yuki is gonna be the best hero out there!” She smiled, mimicking the superhero pose.
“Yes, she will.” The woman smiled, as she took off her apron, then served two plates with bacon and scrambled eggs, a bowl of rice, a plate of green salad, and two pairs of chopsticks. “Here! Eat up, then you two better hurry.”
“Thank you for the food!” Two girls exclaimed in unison, immediately beginning to eat.
“Are you nervous?” Sitting up, the woman said gently, resting her chin on her palm.
“A little bit… But I don’t think the first day is gonna be that difficult. Better tell me, where’s dad? Is he asleep yet?” Yuki said, shoving a piece of bacon in her mouth.
“Ahh, he said something about an urgent meeting, so he left extra early. But he made me promise to pass you the good luck and a hug.” A sly smile made its way to her smooth face, showing off her canines.
“I see.”
~ ~ ~
Sliding the giant door open, Yuki stepped into the bright classroom. She was 15 minutes early, but there were quite a lot of students present already. Most of them she fairly remembered from the entrance exam.
She looked around, searching for her seat, nerves finally beginning to wreck her. Sitting up in her seat, she put her chin on her hands, observing her new classmates.
“Hello there!” One of the girls suddenly approached her, a wide smile on her face. Her skin was a light shade of pink, her eyes were black sclera and yellow irises, short fluffy, and unruly pink hair which was slightly darker than her skin. She also had two thin pale yellow horns protruding from her head. “My name is Ashido Mina! Call me Mina! What’s yours?”
“Oh!” Yuki stood up from her seat to introduce herself. Bowing slightly, she smiled back at the alien-looking girl. “I’m Shimizu Yuki, you can call me Yuki. Nice to meet you.”
“You too! What’s your quirk? I bet it’s awesome!” She clenched her fists in front of her enthusiastically, which kind of reminded Yuki of her sister.
“I uhmm…”
“Hey! You’re not allowed to put your feet on the table!” Whipping her head toward the voice that interrupted her, Yuki witnessed a typical scene of a right man and a delinquent, who then began growling at a new person with green hair appearing at the door. There was also a cute brown-haired girl with a round face behind him.
The blonde delinquent started screaming, making the atmosphere tense and uncomfortable. The green-haired boy was panicking, nearly scared for his life. The two almost started a fight, but the fire between them was quickly put out by a homeless-looking man who all of a sudden appeared at the door lying in a yellow sleeping bag on a concrete floor.
As it turned out, the person who looked like he hadn’t slept in weeks, was their curator. He looked exhausted. However, his voice, his attitude, and his gaze had that authoritative aura for an unknown reason. He introduced himself as Aizawa Shota and immediately commanded the whole class to change into their sports uniform, and then walk to the P.E. grounds by the school.
~ ~ ~
“I’m so hungry!” Mina sighed, dragging her feet out of the classroom. “Who would’ve thought that we’ll be having a quirk apprehension test on the first day!”
“Yeah… But at least, we all passed, so nothing to be scared of. Although, after today you can expect everything from U.A.” Yuki packed everything in her school bag, then flung it over her shoulder. “Doesn’t it make you a little worried?”
“Hmmm” Mina put her index finger to her chin, thinking. “Who knows? But it’s very exciting, isn’t it?”
“Maybe.” Yuki smiled gently, exiting the classroom.
“Just maybe?” Black eyes gazed at Yuki in pure confusion.
“Sorry, it must have come out a little insensitive.” Shimizu smiled apologetically, stepping out of the building. “But to be honest, I don’t think I’m cut out for the hero work, so I don’t have such strong feelings as you guys…”
“Huh?! Then why did you enroll in U.A.?!”
“Uhhh…” Yuki rubbed the back of her neck, nervously. “It’s a little personal if you don’t mind.”
“But I’m curious now!” She pouted and proceeded to swing her arms up and down. “Fine! But I’ll get back to it sometime later! Where’s your station?”
“It’s that way.” Yuki said pointing to the right. “What about you?”
“Oh snap! I’m going that way…” Pink finger going the opposite way. Mina’s pout grew even more. “All right… I’ll see you tomorrow then! Bye!”
“Oh, bye. Take care.” Yuki waved at the vanishing figure, then began walking towards the subway.
It was a nice evening. The yellow sky with a beautiful orange gradient set up a calming atmosphere after an eventful day, a warm breeze winding up white hair in the air. No matter what time of the day it was, people were always in a rush, not paying attention to what was happening around them.
Yuki, unlike some, enjoyed times like those – peacefully walking, almost floating, simply enjoying the atmosphere.
However, soon enough her attention was caught by a familiar red-white hair walking ahead of her in the distance. She frowned a little bit, trying to remember his name. Shoto, was it? He was walking fairly fast, but for some reason, Yuki decided to catch up to him, quickening her pace.
“Todoroki!” She appeared beside him, slightly startling the boy.
“Oh, Shimizu, right?” His surprised heterochromic eyes scanned his classmate for an answer to his non-verbal question.
“I prefer Yuki. That feels more natural.” She fixed her messy, from a little run, hair, walking now by his side. “I just saw you going in the direction of my station, and thought maybe we might as well go together.”
“Oh.” Was all he said before sealing his mouth shut.
“You did amazing on the quirk apprehension test.”
“Thanks.”
“Your quirk is awesome too.” Yuki uttered nonchalantly, making Shoto stop in his track. His facial expression suddenly changed. A hint of anger was visible on his face.
“…Thanks.”
“I’m just saying how it is. I’ve also heard that you got in through recommendation, so that means you’re also super strong.”
“What about you though?” Todoroki asked all of a sudden. His head turned to look at the girl walking beside him.
“Me? Well, I passed the entrance exam, so I guess you can say I’m pretty strong.” She said confidently, looking up at the sky. ‘I must be…’
“I see.”
The rest of the walk to the station went in a complete, yet comforting silence. Both of them were thinking of their own matters. She was thinking of the first day at the top Hero Academy, and he was thinking of why would a stranger decide to walk and have a talk with him. Even if it was unexpected, he didn’t mind too much.
“See you tomorrow, Todoroki.” Yuki waved her goodbye, stepping onto the train.
“Bye.” Again, that was all he said before going the opposite way.
The whole ride Yuki was thinking of him. Something in his eyes caught her attention. And it wasn’t the fact that his eyes were mysteriously mesmerizing, but also full of unknown emotions she couldn’t quite catch. She stood, holding the rails, as the subway car swayed from side to side.
Something in Todoroki Shoto was alluring.
Even as she stepped onto the porch of her house, she kept thinking about what was in him that got him stuck in her mind like that.
That was until Yuki opened the door, and was instantly greeted by a loud scream, as orange flashed before her eyes, tackling the future hero to the ground.
“HOW WAS TODAY???”

Ok K.O. Oc: Kimono Ice
Tumblr media
(( Is it wrong to have an Ok K.O. Oc in 2021? I definitely don’t think so!
NAME: Kimono Ice
REAL NAME: Irene Melodrama
AGE: 15
POW CARD/HERO LEVEL: 4
SPECIES: Yokai-human (SUB-SPECIES: Yuki-onna)
BACKSTORY: Kimono is the daughter of Snowdrift, her Yuki-Onna mother, and her father, who is retired hero Silver Mist. Unlike her Yuki-Onna ancestors, who are actually evil spirits, she wasn’t anything like that. She did inherit ice powers from her ancestors, but not the evilness of them. When Kimono was four, she and her parents moved to Lakewood from [Unknown]. When she saw all the heroes around the plaza, she grew interested in becoming a hero too, but her father told her that she wasn’t allowed to have a Pow card of her own. When she asked why, he told her that she was part Yuki-Onna, and that they weren’t allowed to have Pow cards because of their myth of freezing people to death during winter. Kimono thought that that was unfair, but she couldn’t do anything about it because she was still young. Kimono silently hoped that someday, she would be able to get a Pow card of her very own, but all she could do was wait. While she was still young, her father would treat her how to be a proper lady while at home. She learned how to be polite, not interrupting others when they were talking to someone else, and to never go against her parent's wishes. She was unsure about the last one, but she didn't ask too many questions about it. Every winter, when her mother would come and visit, Kimono was always showered with hugs and kisses from her mother, and her mother would gift her lots of presents. During one Christmas, when she was eight, her mother bought her a different Kimono, (the one she wears now), after she said that she didn't like the traditional white color that her ancestors wore. They had a wonderful winter that year, until they heard the news about the progressing rebellion against the Yuki-Onna’s and the card company. The news said that the Yuki-Onna's almost didn't win, but they eventually got the card company to agree to make some Pow cards for them (this was a few years before the episode “No More Pow Cards”). Kimono and her mother were excited and happy to hear about the spectacular news, but her father was still a little on edge. He still didn't want to see his daughter become a hero, because he didn't want to see her get hurt. She calmly assured her father that she would be fine. Besides, she had a hero father, albeit retired, and a mother who could use ice abilities/powers, and they could train her to become a great hero. Her father first declined the thought, making Kimono a little upset, but gave her hope when he said that he would wait until she was older, meaning that he, along with her mother, would eventually train her. When she turned eleven years old, her father thought she was ready to start training. Kimono couldn't control her powers at first, because she didn't understand how to use them, but with the help from her parents, her mother mostly, she was able to control them without making a huge, icy disaster. (She did freeze her mother once on accident when she learned that she could freeze people with her eyes.) She started to help other lesser known heroes to defeat mediocre villains (as like a sidekick), which didn't get her a very high, only a level .5, but she didn't care. She wanted to take her time to level up. She matured into a more shy and proper lady, with a slight stuttering problem. She didn't have the problem when she was younger, and she only just started showing signs. Eventually, she got to Level 4, and she felt glad.
She's one of the few people that K.O doesn't own a Pow card of yet. She likes hanging out with him, Rad and Enid. Sometimes, she’ll help them fight the Boxmore robots, but other than that, she likes hanging out with the three, and getting into their mischief (sometimes).
She’s very insecure about showing her eyes to friends, in fear of freezing them on accident.

POWERS/ABILITIES: Anything ice related
Ice Spikes
Icy Breath
Summoning (miniature) snow/hail storms
Cold Stare (She can freeze anyone just by looking directly at them. She has to keep direct eye contact on them, and they unfreeze if she breaks that contact. It can be hard to do this if fighting multiple targets)
Ice Punch
She can turn into a cloud of mist (for 30 seconds, and travels half human walk speed)
Can form anything from ice.The object has to be lifelike, though. That means things like flowers or birds (or other animals).

Note
Do you have your villain kids quirks
Yep, here's a list! Also it should be known my AU for MHA does follow the quirk doomsday theory in that quirks get more powerful with each generation and some more harder to control then others. So while some of the quirks I mention have already been seen in the anime my NG's do have a few other abilities
Also sorry if I miss any out
////
Jin (Toga x Mustard, then later on has Kotoba as a step-mum)
Quirk: Blood Control
The name is pretty self explaniatory, he can control the flow of his blood once it's outside of his body. He can control how it moves freely and harden it into any shape he wants. Tasting the blood of someone else will also give him all sorts of biological information on that said person (their blodo type, quirk, gender, all biological based stuff).
Jaakuna (Kashu (OC) x Compress)
Quirk: Magic
Magic allows the user to create large rings from their hands, Jaakuna can make the rings as large or as small as he wishes and can use them to help transport objects or people. While his quirk allows him to create rings he can also use them to trap people by shooting his quirk from his hands at high speeds, causing the ring to form around a person like a rope.
Yuki (Dabi x Unknown women)
Quirk: Cremation
Yuki's quirk is more or less the same as Dabi's, she can create blue flames anywhere on her body with minimal effort or movement. The flames are hotter then normal fire and lava, making her quirk one of the most powerful when it comes to the league kids. Yuki's body sadly is not capable of handling the temperatures of her flames, though her body is stronger then her fathers her body is still not strong enough to handle the extreme heat. She hardly ever uses her quirk due to this, Dabi has pretty much banned her from using it (fear he'll end up training her like his dad did so he just avoids the topic all together. Not the best parenting method but it's only cuz he cares)
Yurei (Yukubo (OC) x Mimic)
Quirk: Telekenisis
Yurei's quirk allows him to telepathically move objects or people at will, he can't move anything bigger or heavier then a fridge. When using his quirk the horn on his head starts glowing red, the brighter the glow to more of his quirk he has to use
Stain NG (He doesn't have a propper name yet - Stain x Lady Nagant)
Quirk: Flesh bending (name may change)
Flesh bending allows the user to freely control the movement of their flesh and bone even when their body is standing still. With minimal effort the user could turn their arm into a spear by splitting bone, or remove pieces of bullet by control their flesh to remove them from the wound and can even use the quirk to heal a wound, this requires the user to have some basic medical no how though- the drawbacks to this quirk are that overuse can lead to extreme pain and scaring
Rekkei (Rappa x A female pro hero - later adopted by Fatgum x Kumo (OC)
Quirk: Strong arm
Rekkei's quirk allows him to swing his arms at insane speed to throw an assault of rapid punches at an enemy, this takes little effort and Rekkei can use his quirk in seconds. Ontop of that Rekkei also has heightened hearing and physical abilities, he can run faster then some of his classmates and is remarkably quick and agile on his feet. Rekkei assumes he got these traits from whoever it is his biological mother is
Kiru (Setsuno NG, Tengai later becomes her step-dad)
Quirk: Razor sharp
Razor sharp allows Kiru to create blades over any part of her body, these blades can be any size or shape, and are strong enough to cut through metal pipes (commonly made of steel or iron) and able to withstand a point blank explosion. The drawbacks to Kiru's quirk is that overuse can lead to Kiru's own blades hurting her when she produces them from her body which can lead to long lasting scaring
Kowai (Adopted by Nemoto x Deidoro)
Quirk: Sloshed
Sloshed causes anyone who approaches Kowai to lose their sense of balance, falling into a state similar to inebriation. In order for the quirk to work Kowai must first ingest alcohol into her body, the more she drinks the greater the affect her quirk has. However due to poor circumstance and Kowai's biological mother Kowai has a weak immune system and ontop of being only 15 cannot handle the alcohol her quirk needs to function.

Connections Review Part 3
Storm Maverick- Category 5
And we return! This will be the final part of the Connections Arc. I had initial plans for this to be 2 parts but sadly Maverick got too big and therefore he required his own part. This is by far the most divisive part of the Arc as everyone seems to be content with the time travel and harems, but as soon as Maverick ‘Motherfucker Hellspawn’ Storm got relevant it all went downhill for some. So, what do I think?
So, this is part is less ‘What is Maverick doing’ and more of what I think of Maverick. As you guys know, I am aware that Maverick is a lot older than people seem to recognize as he has his origins in Askthedespairkids. And in the context of that blog, Maverick is actually a pretty good character. You have to remember that the blog was saturated with OCs and a lot of them suffered from severe sueness or edgy syndrome. I will not make names and I will not say who made the worst OCs because that’s the easiest way to start an internet war, but the two big reasons I got bored of Askthedespairkids and quit reading is due to how poorly written a lot of these OCs were and they hogged a lot of the spotlight, and the canon characters ended up being regulated to the side-lines, which didn’t tickle my fancy at all. True, Maverick was very over the top and what he ultimately ended up doing to his former classmates in Class 75 is incredibly graphic and probably worse than some of the executions and murders canonically, but I would rather blame the general OPness of that blog. Now this is on the Mod’s terms Maverick can hopefully be hit with the nerf hammer a bit more so he isn’t as ridiculous as he was in Askthedespairkids. Furthermore, you can’t call Maverick a Villain Sue and not apply that to Junko Enoshima, because yeah, she is a Villain Sue, that’s why I don’t like her.
But things are different now. Maverick is standing on his own, against only a couple of other OCs and canon characters. Furthermore, the Mod’s writing skills have improved since the Askthedespairkids days so there’s a bit more pressure on Maverick. I think there are two issues I find with Maverick. The first is that I didn’t like him making a move during this arc. The arc was fine just focusing on time travel and the various harems and relationships of the characters, adding Storm just bloated the arc and made it much longer then needed, I feel like Maverick could have been revealed next arc and the next next arc would be the next arc we are currently getting into. This gives me serious Oncoming Storm vibes where an Arc is ridiculously long and a build up to a (hopefully) big payload. Now let me make this straight, this Arc is a million times better then Oncoming Storm, I don’t think any future Arc would be as bad as Oncoming Storm, as that was long and boring whereas the previous stuff was interesting, its just that adding Storm made the Arc very bloated and artificially extended the length of the arc making it tedious. Perhaps a forewarning to the Mod when they decide to include someone like Mikado and Junko into the story. The second issue with Maverick is…he’s basically a poor man’s Junko. At the moment I’m really struggling to find any meaningful differences between Maverick and Junko. With Juu being around we already have our big bad villain for the second Session and if I’m right, Session 3’s main villain is going to be Mikado and Session 4’s villain is Junko. I know Maverick is important to the backstories of Umeko and Kyoji, especially Kyoji, but aside from tying up those loose ends, what is the point of Maverick? Does he exist to give the Quantum Crew a practise run against Junko? And yes, his threat level is higher as he’s kidnapping an obscene amount of people and is able to block us Anons, but Maverick shouldn’t know we exist. I really, REALLLLY hope there’s a logical explanation for that because if Maverick is somehow able to sense the Anons and see how much of a threat we are, then the accusations of Maverick being a Villain Sue do hold water.
Overall, I will be more critical of Maverick now then I was back then because he enjoyed being next to poorly written characters but that safety net no longer exists and there’s too many glaring similarities between him and Junko. Now for his actions yeahhh…. I did warn you guys that Maverick is that special kind of evil but I don’t think it was until Nikei revealed about all his foster families committing suicide that it really hammered home. It’s basically vindication of what I said before. The stakes are a lot higher now because previously yes there was all the girls being kidnapped but it was just Tokyo and one demographic, but here lots of people all across Japan are vanishing and being brainwashed by Storm, so the pressure is on for the Quantum Crew to stop him. And some familiar names as well as Damian, Aiko’s pen pal and Hiroyuki, Kiroko’s younger brother have gone missing alongside Kanon. Kanon vanishing means I think Leon is going to be important next arc because we did promise Leon that Hajime & friends would help her and he’ll be willing to throw his lot in to save his cousin. And the pressure is even more on because Yuki’s been taken as well, having traded Mikado for Storm. This is going be big, especially for Sora as she’s been struggling with how much she cares for Yuki and this will be a real test to see where her allegiances lie. Especially as its unknown what happens if either Yoruko or Sora dies, because if Hajime dies, time rewinds and he uses a life but what if Yoruko and Sora get offed? They don’t have lifelines so what happens if Hajime resets, does Yoruko revert to her old self or does Sora get erased from existence as she isn’t supposed to be ‘born’ yet?
Kyoji also got some development as we see him bonding with Monaca and the newly reformed Kanade, and it’s a very ironic twist that the two characters who are often nicknamed as ‘Satan’ in the fandom are now more or less siblings. As good as a caretaker he is for them though, his recklessness and self-loathing issues are still there as it prevents him from seeing Miaya despite a meeting between them being sorely needed and thinking she won’t want to see him again even if that may not be the case, and wanting to deal with Storm ASAP despite legit concerns that it could be a trap. Thankfully Chisa and Chiaki were able to talk some sense into him and rein in some of his more destructive behaviour. Given how manipulative Storm is and we have not one but two characters who are willing to go off the handle, possibly three if Nikei jumps the gun again, its going to be a very intense arc coming up as not only do the Quantum Crew have to fight against Storm and his backers, but also keep some of the more hot-headed members of the team from being reckless. The new members of the Quantum Crew are pulling their weight though as Kazuichi offered insight into the tech that Storm could use, Chisa obviously helping to keep sanity in check and Ibuki had one of her lucid ideas and managed to suggest how Storm delivered all the VPN password codes to his victims in a way that isn’t unnoticeable which is just mailing them a vacation brochure. I’ll admit, this was really clever by the Mod as that went over my head when it was delivered, but I should know about Chekhov’s Gun, which is don’t include something if its not going to be relevant later. Lesson learnt and I need to be more alert to detail now.
And that concludes the Connections Arc as the QR Code was scanned and they saw the welcome message from Maverick and Kyoji cursing Storm’s name. And my ranking shall be a C-. It would be a solid C but the inclusion of Maverick bloating the arc out and the fact that now he’s not being propped up by terrible OCs means the writing flaws of the character are starting to become more apparent and his similarities with Junko makes me question if he is a necessary character in the story or not. I will withhold too much judgement until the next Arc concludes but I did enjoy the Arc until the Storm part so its not enough to drop into D territory so C- it is. Either way, I’ll be watching the next arc with great interest and hopefully my new method of cutting down on needless wavering is making this easier to read. See you once the Storm calms down! -Review Anon
//Once again, thank you for the reviews. And admittedly, yes, I do wish I’d held off on introducing Storm’s plans until the ongoing plot threads were resolved and everyone came home. I can see all this being the beginning of the current arc and it probably would’ve worked better. That’s definitely the biggest flaw I can see with the last arc, though it’s important for setting stuff up and my desire is not for preparations to drag out, but for us to get to what’s important.
//After the Oncoming Storm, I’m wary of writing any more long preparation arcs, especially when I’m stuck in a long depressive episode ^^;
//I’ve never claimed to be a perfect writer or even a good one, but I’ve tried to improve on my writing since my early days. I had very little idea of what I was doing back then and it really does show. I only ask that you all go into the next arc with an open mind and not let past experiences of bad writing color your opinions, which I’m sure you won’t.
//I won’t spoil anything, but this upcoming arc has what’s probably my hardest decision as a writer to date and I’ve decided to committed to it, even if it hurts to think about.
//I do hope you look forward to what comes next ^^

Sign: Scorpio

Height: 162cm
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual

Hair color: Silver-White
Family: Mukami (Adopted)
Mukami Ruki (Brother) Mukami Kou (Brother) Mukami Yuma (Brother) Mukami Azusa (Brother)
Nakashima (Original)
Nakashima Takuya(Father) Marcier Raphaëlle (Mother) Nakashima Naoki (Brother)
Occupation: Vampire Hunter
Hobby: Sword Practice; Dart Practice
Favorite food: Caramel Pudding
Appearance:
Irin has shoulder-length snow-colored hair, which she usually keeps in a (kind of messy) braid with porcelain skin. Her figure is quite slender with a slim waist, but a little flat-chested.
Irin adores the military uniform style but is disgusted with the thought of school uniforms for female students or lolita fashion, believing it to be “frilly”. She normally wears her favorite set of uniform: a navy hat (black with a golden brim); a long-sleeved shirt (black with silver accents); shorts (black); a pair of socks (white); and a pair of leather shoes (black with silver accents). She usually slings a briefcase over her right shoulder (though no one knows what it contains...yet) and a drop leg bag (also a secret).
Tumblr media
Personality:
Openness > low; Conscientiousness > high; Extraversion > low; Agreeableness > low; Neuroticism > high
Cold (look at her eyes) and collected, Irin is a girl of few words. (Almost) All came to conclude that she resembles a sharp dagger made of ice, being on guard, calculating and manipulative, also very good at hiding her true feelings. But under all that, she actually feels very vulnerable deep inside and is often paranoid though she doesn’t show it. She prefers being on her own instead of making the effort to gain friends and relationships or to cooperate.
Irin becomes even more insecure when she comes to have a significant other and tries to refrain herself from questioning the hell out, checking their chat history, and stalking him / her everywhere. Becomes bad-mouthing and bitchy sarcastic towards anyone trying to build a relationship with him / her.
Abilities:
Growing up with the tedious training of a vampire hunter, Irin has mastered the use of poison and drugs, darts, knife-throwing, and shooting, going for swords next which already became one of her hobbies. She has also obtained an unknown amount of silver weapons of all sorts.
Fun Fact:
1. Irin used to love the combination of icy blue and silver, but now sees it as “childish” and switches to pure black and silver.

Note
Tell me about your ocs!
I got two people actually say they want it and a few more liking the post so here we go, in no particular order:
Takashi Shimizu
Male
His quirk allows him to change the pressure of water, allowing flow to increase or decrease in speed. Can be deadly if worked on.
Hero outfit is currently just a wet suit and cap. It has a logo that says “logo” in kanji.
Cheery
Made for an attempt at a collab classroom
Has artwork made
Ayame Togata
Female
Made as one of the two Big Three twins I made
Has an upgraded version of her father’s quirk that allows her clothes to stay on and even clip through dust particles, making her appear to float in the air.
Actually a villain
Is a villain because she, quote “wants people to fear her instead of respect her”
Has artwork made
Tomomi Amajiki
Male
Other twin
Also has an upgraded version of his father’s quirk. It can last longer and have more unique effects when he eats meals or combined foods.
A currently unknown to him combination allows him to see the future.
Is currently hiding the fact of being able to see the future because he doesn’t know what causes it.
Haruto Ueda
Male
Quirk allows him to manipulate clouds, including if they have lightning in them or not.
Hair is cloudlike, but not in the same way as our canon cloud boi who I’m forgetting the name of.
For the collab classroom
Has artwork made
Kaori Yamasaki
Female
Quirk is spider. She’s spider-like and can do things spiders can do. {climb up walls, produce silk from her mouth, venomous bite etc.}
For the collab classroom
Has artwork made
Mao Maki
Female
Quirk allows her to grow flowers on any living or once-living surface. If it’s an animal, it’s one that works with their personality or species. If it’s a plant, it’s the type they normally grow. They sting badly and fall off after a few minutes.
Very serious about becoming a hero.
For the collab classroom
Has artwork made
Sherley Zima
Female
One of my examples of “this started out as a planned self-insert but now she’s her own thing” OCs
Quirk allows her to manipulate the temperature around her. The closer to the center of her radius {her} you get, the stronger it’s effects. Unless you’re on top of her. Then there’s no effect at all.
She’ll pass out if she uses it for long. The effect will slowly dissipate in those instances.
Exchange student.
Is now part of the collab classroom
Has artwork made
Kumiko Hisakawa
Female
Don’t remember her quirk
Was made for the collab classroom
I really should try and remember her quirk
Has artwork made
Yuuma Aizawa
Male
EraserMic child
Quirk allows him to erase the quirk of others with vocal commands. Vocal commands are also needed to deactivate it. Can only erase one quirk at a time.
The vocal commands are along the lines of “stop”, “cancel”, and their reverses.
Mostly reclusive personality.
Didn’t discover his quirk until he was about 13.
Might change him to nonbinary but still using he/him pronouns
Kageko Yukimura
Demifemale
Self-insert villain made to ship with Dabi because shut up
Quirk manipulates liquids at the molecular level, allowing her to boil or freeze any liquid {that can boil/freeze} as long as she has physical contact on it.
Ultimately her goal is to kill 99% of all people who kill innocent people and any “heroes” that don’t kill killers or at least advocate for “this person should be killed ngl”
????????
He/Him
Villain that I haven’t given a name to yet
Has a horrifying quirk that’s a type of brainwashing that makes the affected person believe they were acting of their own free-will as they’re under it.
Activates with wrong answers to questions.
Yuu Ikeda
Genderfluid
Any pronouns but he/him are allowed.
Quirk allows them to quick heal and regenerate any lost body part, from skin to full limbs to even organs.
When regenerating, their frame can change, along with other things. The only thing they can’t change is their eye and hair colors.
Ran away from home because their parents weren’t accepting
Is a black market villain at the age of 11.
Keeps selling their own organs to stay alive
Is actually very kind and probably would’ve tried to be a hero if they had an accepting household.
Is one of my favorites
Hoshiko Kaminari
She/Her
One of three Denki Kaminari x Ibara Shiozaki kids I made because It’s my rare pair and I choose if they have kids!
Oldest
Her quirk is that she has electric fence wiring as hair. As a result, she needs an insanely high amount of iron in her diet.
Side effect to her quirk is that she’s immune to all electricity-based attacks.
Doesn’t know how to swim, and even if she did her hair would weigh her down.
Hair needs to be cut with wire cutters or similar, as it doesn’t stop growing unless she stops getting her needed iron.
Hair-wires stay live for about 10 seconds after being cut
Another one of my faves
Rai Kaminari
Male
Middle child, younger brother of Hoshiko.
Has the same quirk as his father, but can withstand higher amounts of voltage before frying.
Hinata Kaminari
Nonbinary
Youngest of the family, Hoshiko’s younger sibling.
Quirkless
Yuki Tetsutetsu
Female
Name is not written as “雪” {snow}, but as “勇気” {courage}
Don’t have another parent, probably just someone I’ll make later {unless someone else wants to}
Quirk allows her to make any metal she holds stronger and can be unbreakable with focus. It can still get knocked out of her hands, though.
If I have to explain who her dad is....
David Jerome
Male
Made for my AU story “Reborn”
One of the reborn individuals {you’ll understand what that means soon}
Quirkless
Was an American tourist at death. As a result, is Japanese isn’t perfect
Died in a car crash, along with his mother and father. Only his younger sister survived on their end.
Kind but quiet. Very supportive
Default emotions are fear and regret
Yuuki Hayashi
Female
Made for my AU story “Reborn”
One of the reborn individuals
Don’t remember the quirk I had given her, but it wasn’t an impressive or powerful one.
Died from anaphylactic shock
Default emotion is disappointment in self
Kohaku Mizushima
Agender
Made for my AU story “Reborn”
One of the reborn individuals.
Quirk allowed them to make a ball around them as a defense. It was hard to break and could hold in whatever was already around him as well. Couldn’t be seen through and wasn’t recommended for long use.
Died from... drowning... that may have been self caused...
Harsh, but very much protective
Default emotions are sadness and anger
Ryou
Male
Made for my AU story “Reborn”
Quirk allows him to resurrect anyone who has died within the last 24 hours. Upon resurrection, the revived {which he calls “reborn”} will have different colored sclera than before that relate to how they died in one way or another. They cannot die from the same thing again, and he cannot revive someone more than once.
Has a friend that works for the hospital, allowing him to revive random people easier than otherwise
Tries to keep is quirk hidden from the public because can you imagine what would happen if word came out about a quirk like that?
Whenever he picks a child, which is actually rare, he’ll take care of them. The previous three are under his care.
Is rich
Chaotic Neutral
And I believe that’s all of them besides Ryou’s friend, but he’s literally only named and given his job.
Any more questions? Maybe about individual ones? Send em here or here!

OC Name: Miko Hirokei
Age (Birthday?): 20-22 [12/21] - Late teens/Early adult when recruited
Original Village/Background: The Land of Permafrost of the Yukigakure.
Miko was born for the simple fact her physical being could withstand and contain the beast that terrorized the borders of the two villages. Once the beast was sealed within her, she was given up by her parents, giving her to two surrogates that pretended to be her parents but were high ranked Shinobi entrusted with her care and training for her to be used as a weapon in a possible shinobi war. The beast was given the ironic name of the Yuki-Onna, it was a frightening beast as most who encountered it died a icy death and could still be found in their last positions as they were frozen solid.
Her training lead her to take the Chunin exams with a team she knew for less than a month and ranked up fast, eventually becoming an A.N.B.U. around her mid teen years due not only her skill but dedication to protect the village she loved. She was even recognized by the village leaders to be an important asset to them.
She never questioned any mission she was on and was thorough when it came to discreetly taking out anyone who posed a threat; every death looking as if the person passed from hypothermia and frostbite. She was effective and the chakra boost she gained from the monster inside of her made her a force to be reckoned with. She had gained the respect from the village she loved so much and those who didn’t know the truth about her showered her in gifts and praise when they saw her. She was genuinely happy and worked harder to upkeep everyone’s expectations..
She was kept from the files of her origins, it didnt last for very long. She knew her ‘parents’ weren’t hers; their appearances didnt match hers in the slightest. During the night she broke into the most sensitive files of the village; what she found out made her entire body freeze, metaphorically and physically. She left the room before she was found and went off to find her real parents, hoping that they would want to get to know her after seeing all of her accomplishments.  She was wrong. They started screaming and yelling about how she was a mistake and how she wasn’t theirs due to her birthing reasons. Her heart broke into thousands of pieces. She left their home quietly and set out on a personal mission. She waited for the village leaders next to attend an important meeting, in her ANBU uniform with the mask, and immediately dispatched all of the leaders. She didn’t make a clean getaway, instead she made sure to leave a mess behind, leaving a note. She didn’t have any qualms of leaving the village soon after, leaving the frozen lands she knew and began her travels under a false name, Maiko. She’s listed down in the Shinobi bingo book as “Do Not Engage” as she is a expert dragging out battles with those out for her before toying with him and killing them.
Appearance: Images above drawn by Me. Better sta.sh link to better Res
Powers: She has a dual chakra nature for being from the Snow village, both wind and water. She can super cool any water jutsu she knows into ice, altering its original purpose and vice versa for super cooling the wind with water. She uses both the Snow release style and Ice release style jutsu; always working on ways to make them more and more potent. Her skills mostly are to hinder and tire out the opponent then going in for the kill. The more and more she fights with a person, the more snow will start to form around them, making her jutsus more potent as the snow was filled with her chakra. Her trump card jutsu is a personal creation called “Hyoton: Yuki-Musume” It creates an impenetrable snow storm that can be as isolated as five meters in diameter or can get to roughly 30 meters depending how strong she needs it. She uses the snow storm to strike, using  Yuki Henge Yusuo no Jutsu to come at the enemy from multiple directions; disorienting them then knocking them out  she needs them for information, or killing them if they pose a threat to her personal being or to her mission.
The beast inside of her gives her not only an expansive chakra reserve and stamina boost but also a strong resistance to the cold. Unfortunately this can be used against Miko as she is very susceptible to extreme heat and Katon jutsus. The heat can weaken her quite a bit but only makes her that much more aggressive towards whoever is attacking her. The beast; who she lovingly calls Yukina, refuses to let her die and when she is overly exhausted it will slowly freeze her body into mild coma after a major fight to speed up the recovery process. It will throw off those who arent familiar with her but once she is mostly recovered she will “thaw” out and act as if nothing had happened.
Personality:
She finds fun in a good fight, jovial at times with the right people once she’s comfortable; will make jokes and whatnot. She’s normally pretty easy to get along with; she’s very calm and compromisable on most things. Though will not hesitate to question motives if it doesnt align with what she thinks is the best course of things. Its caused plenty of infighting when she was a chunin and jounin but didnt hesitate to still do her job. She doesnt see shinobi as black and white, only as grey do to their leaders pulling the strings so she doesnt blame those who try to carry out their missions; only those who gave he missions and caused the loss of life. She has no qualms with killing at her age and has no hesitations unless its a small child or someone she knows is truly innocent.
Motivations/Goals:
To take down the very village that deceived her from the day she was born and rebuild it to what she believes is the right way.
Nail Polish Colour (VERY IMPORTANT): icy blue
Ring Kanji (message me if you need help picking a kanji!):  冷 - Cold
Is it ok for other people to make art of your OC?: totally! Just shoot me a a mention in the post or tag me in the tags!
Is it ok for other people to use your OC in fanfic? Yeah! I’m so for it! send me a link to it too or shoot me a message if you want clarification on Miko’s character! I’ve had her as an OC since I was 12 and she’s like a child to me!
Any other notes:
Her fighting style could be somewhat compared to dancing, her movements being extremely fluid to those who are watching from the sidelines. She uses a segmented staff with an open ring in the middle; the metal on the ring and chains being highly chakra conductive and she uses it to flash freeze parts of the opponent to slow down their mobility.
When she is getting the boost from Yukina, parts of her skin will begin to frost, or freeze, over. It being a side effect of the beast being inside of her. It mostly numbs any pain she would feel for a short time before the cold would start to burn her instead. Its not meant for a long time boost.
She was recruited while travelling through the waterfall village. Itachi and Sasori were dispatched to recruit due to both being able wield fire, Kakuzu was dispatched on a bounty run once again. It was definitely a battle either side were expecting. It ended up in more or less a draw, Miko’s ice heavily damaging Sasori’s puppet joints and Itachi’s katon burning her more than once. Her being recruited was for there to be a large jutsu range for the Akatsuki to have in their arsenal. She would be paired up at random with preexisting members for certain missions.
There are certain interactions between herself and other Akatsuki members. Her and Konan have a mutual high respect for each other. Both strong willed women who have unknown potential. She’d do anything Konan would ask with little to no hesitation. She has a mild distrust of and respect for the artist duo, she respects their dedication to their craft but they an easily counter her abilities so she keeps a small distance while friendly.  She and Itachi work well together, the biting cold and the severe heat of their combos being a deadly force together. She works best surprising with Kisame and Kakuzu, their natural chakra natures blending well with her own. She has a hard time working with Hidan however, him not sticking to plans and going off on his own making it hard to truly get the missions done as quickly as possible; their pairing up would be a very rare team up.   She’s only spoken to Pein a handful of times between missions, not having any good or bad feelings towards him; just very neutral with a respect you give a higher ranked officer. She’s only seen and spoken Zetsu a few times, him just only really passing along the message that she’s needed for a mission.

Writing Challenge Day 11
For @fic-writer-appreciation‘s writing challenge of July. Day 11: Mermaid AU!
I’m trying this again with a few of my OC’s so I can develop them a little more. If you have any questions about my OC’s my inbox is always open! Here goes:
The calm blue sea resided in her eyes. In those family eyes that ruled the waves. In the deepest depths of the unknown sea a royal lineage spanned eons of mankind's existence. It was common knowledge to them that any mortal foolish enough to dive into the dark deserved whatever grave fate befell them.
After all it should have been common knowledge to the humans that the terrifying dark of the ocean had a reason to be feared. Following the disaster of encroaching ships and settlements on land that used to belong to them the creatures of the sea did the last thing they could to survive. They traveled to depths that even the most equipped and brave of the humans dared not dwell. Past meters where the ocean currents would crush their soft limbs to dust. Here they would stay and here they would protect the last remnants of their once great kingdom from further threats.
Centuries passed living in this dark domain. Now for the first time since before her grandfather’s birth humans were once again exploring the depths. At first they came with lights and little machines that helped them glide through the water like the fish. Then they began staying for longer periods of time in the depths. Cutting off samples of the coral and weeds that grew in the ailing soils of their land. Next they dared to interact with the wildlife, bringing paltry, meager pellets meant to trick the starving creatures into a sense of security.
Her grandmother said it was the end of their time in the reef. Her brother said it was stupid mortals doing stupid mortal things. Her sister looked upon the humans with a lip curled and a vow that they would pay for attempting to take the last piece of land they had to their species name. Her mother said it was a tragedy. Her father said it was an act of war.
“After the crimes they committed to our people 300 yeas ago the only reason they would break the peace we had is war!” he roared in the throne room as he paced and his court decided how to handle the new threat. “They’re a hateful species that want us wiped from existence,” he went on.
Maddie sat up straight and nodded in agreement when her father happened to pass by her. The rest of the court seemed content to all voice their opinions at once until the usually silent throne room was filled with yelling and shifting scents.
“We must attack before they get too close to the kingdom!” Her brazen uncle yelled. Uncle Jirou had a sharp voice that cut through any conversation. It was heard no matter how many other noises tried to drown him out. It was a voice that matched the rashness of all his decisions.
“We must not provoke what hasn’t turned sour yet. They have not acknowledged our existence here there is no reason to assume-” her more calm minded aunt piped up. Aunt Tsukiko usually stayed quiet in matters of diplomacy yet Maddie could almost feel the tension leaking out of her words as she challenged her older brother.
“Assume?! Were we assuming anything when these humans destroyed our home 300 years ago?” In-Law Lila interrupted, once again acting the voice of bitter resentment.
Maddie felt the water move beside her as Tsukiko swam a little higher in the water to make her voice travel over the cacophony of arguments going on. “The minute you can provide proof of what exactly these humans did 300 years ago is the minute I’ll believe they are here to harm us.” Most of the other voices had hit a quiet point and suddenly the entire room could hear Tsukiko’s controversial statement. Once again the room burst into heated arguments, her father’s voice traveling above them all.
“Have you forgotten the war stories passed down through countless generations! These humans are bad news Tsukiko, don’t tell me you’ve taken their side.”
“I propose the notion that a mere head nurse should not be allowed in debates on political matters.” Lila spoke up with annoyance.
Tsukiko was silently fuming as an onslaught of voices argued for her position on or off the king’s court.
“Drop the petty resentment, Lila,” Monty, Maddie’s cousin and voice of reason tried to say in the sea of noise. His small voice was drowned out among the still arguing court but Lila caught her name and began another one on one argument with him.
“Tsukiko has only the care of our people in her mind that is why she’s in this court room!”
“Regardless we’re missing the point. Strange men have encroached on our land and we are not treating it as it should be. An act of war!”
“We need to take action against these humans. Order a troop of soldiers to capture and detain the next representative they send down to our depths.”
“I don’t think you’re in the position to be making those calls, Linton.”
The arguments continued as a muffled tremor behind closed doors when Maddie walked out. Once alone in the corridor she let out a deep sigh. Political debates with her family, all of whom held spots in the Kings court got exhausting after a couple hours of needless arguing and zero progress.
She had joined as a junior diplomat in the hopes of aiding her people by forcing the court to get along and come to a decision that always seemed to take them months to agree upon. The indecisiveness of the court had cost her family’s kingdom precious resources and soldiers in wars long ago.
She remembered Monty telling her there wasn’t enough people of reasonable minds in the court and Maddie took it upon herself to aid him in that endeavor. Together they had once thought they could break through the family drama petty disagreements. But every day that once-thought was surely becoming the impossible dream of an innocent youth.
“What’s got them tangled up this time, child?” A familiar voice asked. Maddie sensed the presence of the mermaid who had raised her in the darkness of the depths. She was coming closer to her with a bag full of what sounded metal and sharp. Living down here in the depths for so long, eyesight became useless. And the merpeople developed sharper senses of smell, taste, hearing and feeling as a result.
Maddie sighed again, trying to rid herself of the negativity she left behind those closed doors. She swam beside the mermaid who raised her, no not her mother. Her mother was always too busy with diplomacy and matters of the slowly dying kingdom to pay attention to any of her seven children. Nanna, an older woman who felt larger and hugged with more of her body than her mother did. Nanna was there for all of them, no matter how big or messed up family affairs became Nanna provided the ears to listen that they all needed.
“Father’s calling for a declaration of war. Uncle Linton’s trying to take over Yuki’s soldiers again and Lila is asking for a revote on Aunt Tsukiko’s seat in the court.”
Nanna let out a breathy laugh of disbelief. “Sure sounds complicated. I swear every time that family of yours gets bigger it only seems to add more arguing heads.”
Maddie clenched her fists. “Father just lets too many people into his court. He doesn’t adhere to the royal line and then the ones who gain power through matrimony think they can control more of the court than was promised to them.”
“Careful with your words, little tadpole. Your royal blood don’t make them any better or worse at running a kingdom. I’m sure they’re all just trying to push agendas they firmly believe is better for the kingdom. And that’s where the arguments come from. Because not everyone thinks a court oughta be run the same way.”
Maddie rubbed her head. “Politics are hard.”
Nanna stopped walking and the water shifted around them as she turned. “Yes it is, tadpole. But don’t you worry none. You got more brains than even the most experienced diplomats in that room.”
Nanna pinched Maddie’s nose. The same habit that had been born from a gesture of affection that Nanna adopted around those she loved most. Maddie giggled. “Even Uncle Jirou?”
Nanna let out a breath of air and Maddie could feel the gentle nature radiating off the large mermaid. “Your Uncle Jirou’s a particular man that’s for sure. And one who does a lot of good for our people. But you got something he doesn’t.  You stick with that and you’ll find a way to convince them. Maybe they’ll even stop their fighting after listening to what you have to say.”
Maddie stood awestruck for a few moments. Nanna began to swim away but Maddie reached out for the mermaids disappearing form. “What is it, Nanna?”
“Hm?”
“What do I have that even Uncle Jirou doesn’t?”
She felt Nanna pat the top of her head. “Well now if I told you that I don’t think you’d be learning nothing. Stick with your gut, little tadpole,” she said poking Maddie’s chest and disappearing once more in the dark of the hallway.
Maddie took a deep breath and turned around. Stick with your gut, little tadpole. Nanna’s words echoed in her mind on repeat. With boosted confidence she swam as fast as she could back to the door that still held arguing voices behind it. Maddie gripped the seashell handles and made her demeanor confident before throwing open the double doors.
Stick with your gut. She knew what she had to do. Little tadpole, you’ll be just fine. It was time for a change out of this presiding darkness. It was time her people took back the meaning of their royal blue seas.
