A random snippet for the coffee shop au. This is 900-ish words with no plot, written in like 20 minutes. Forgive any errors.
Elros goes over to his cousin to hide give Elrond and Celebrían some privacy.
He never had felt the need to do so. Ever. It isn't something that just crosses his mind and makes him show up on a Wednesday evening around ten in only his pyjamas and socks, wet from the pouring rain outside looking miserable enough to be mistaken for a homeless person.
Now he does feel the need to because his brilliant and foolproof plan backfired on him and he has nowhere else to hide. One more day in the presence of these two lovebirds and he's going to break something and neither he nor his brother would appreciate that to happen.
He also kind of panicked but that is totally reasonable given his situation.
Once he is dry, wearing some spare clothes and has successfully cocooned himself into a pile of blankets on Ereinion's couch perfectly hidden from the outside world, he feels more than ready to spend the weekend there.
Ereinion looks at him with a somewhat amused expression on his face. He tries to cover it up by taking a sip from his iced tea as soon as Elros looks his way.. but they both know that this was just a pitiful attempt.
Elros doesn't mention it.
He is in too much despair to do so. And because he needs someone to show him sympathy. He had hoped Ereinion would be that person but once again he is proven wrong. Lady Fortuna hates him apparently.
He probably should be a bit more frustrated by the lack of sympathy but then again Ereinion has been in a relationship for what felt like the last decade (it was) and probably was immune to the embarrassing behaviour Elros was forced to witness every day. He most likely didn't even notice.
"It was your grand plan to get them together," Ereinion says and puts his glass down.
Very helpful. Not.
Also still no sign of sympathy.
"Yeah because their pining was getting on my nerves." he replies, trying to not sound too pissed. It almost works. Hopefully. He tries to do a good job at it anyways.
"And now their relationship is?"
Ereinion is supposed to do anything to make him feel better, not make him feel like garbage! Not fair, especially after Elros worked so hard on getting his brother to admit his feelings for Celebrian. It wasn't his fault that they had to become even more embarrassing afterwards.
"No! Of course not!" he says without hesitation and sits up straight. The blankets shift around him. His fortress of safety falls apart. "I mean I'm happy for them and everything but do they have to behave like this?"
A little bit of panic rises inside of him and he looks at his cousin in horror. " Is everyone like this?"
Ereinion shrugs. Then:
"My dads are."
He didn't need the mental image of uncle Maitimo and uncle Findekáno looking at each other with heart eyes during breakfast, thank you very much.
God he will never look at his uncles the same way again. Uncle Tyelko is now the cool uncle.
He never thought he would think this. No... wait bad idea he should reconsider this. Uncle Tyelko was awesome but also the kind of person to leave two six year olds behind at the gas station in the middle of nowhere. Not the best choice.
He doesn't have many options left though, most of his dad's brother's are awesome but not in a cool way. Then there is uncle Daeron who is creepy but kinda cool but he's also kind of his dad (in a weird way). Maybe uncle Beren? But he's the normal uncle.. His mom's family live too far away for him to consider any of her brothers to be the cool uncles on a regular basis. Although they might deserve this title the most.
Wait no, he's going off track.
"How long do you think they're going to be like this?" Elros asks after forcing this train of thought out of his mind, locking it up and promising himself to never let it see the light again.
Ereinion bites his lower lip and thinks.
"Dunno? A few months? A few years? If you're (un)lucky they'll be like this for a while."
Elros wants to bury himself somewhere for the next decade and come back once his nieces and nephews are born and his brother has stopped behaving like an idiot.
Ereinion's couch wasn't going to be a permanent solution.
"You could try talking to him?" Aracundo suggests from where he is studying at the kitchen table. Elros turns his head towards his cousin. He wants to hit him but he has to admit that he's kinda right.
Well not even kinda. He is right. Like always.
Elros doesn't need someone who is right right now. He needs someone who smacks some sense back into his brother for him or alternatively provides shelter until the worst is over.
But then again. Aracundo is right and Elros at least has to admit that out loud or that realisation is going to kill him.
He picks his words carefully.
"After I complained about them being completely incapable of having a conversation? Yeah I probably should."
Ereinion makes a noise in agreement and looks over at his boyfriend. Aracundo returns the gaze and blows him a kiss.
Elros looks up to stare at the ceiling.
Maybe he should've gone hiding in his grandparent's attic instead. The bats at least would have been nicer and less lovey-dovey company.
He eventually rebuilds his fortress, buries himself deeper and quietly accepts his suffering.
Tomorrow he should probably have that conversation.

Chess
@tolkienocweek day one - shipping. Aracundo, Gil-Galad, a bet and chess, also cuddles and my very clumsy first attempt at romance. I should have gone with Headcanons instead probably.
It wasn't unusual for Aracundo to wait until way after midnight for him. Council meetings were a matter of long debates and advisors always found a way to make them even longer, mostly by discussing a topic that on other days would've taken mere minutes for such an extended period of time that it seemed downright exhausting for an outsider. But he knew that this was part of his husband's duties.
Husband.
The thought made him blush a little and he looked at the slim silver ring he wore on his right hand. Husband. They had only been married for four years and yet Aracundo was sure he would never tire of it. It made him happy in a way he hadn't been in a very long time.
Not since… not since ever actually. He couldn't recall a time in which he had been as happy or even happier than now.
His childhood had been a mess to put it lightly. He didn't like to recall it. His adolescence he had spent fighting in a war. His adulthood however he would spend married, loving and in peace.
He was sure of it. Now came a time of happiness. An eternity of love and security.
While he waited Aracundo used his time to run over some formulas that had been invented during the First Age and that had survived the sinking of Beleriand. Their purpose had been lost over the chaos of the war and the deaths of those who invented them but Aracundo had made the decision to rediscover their purpose even though they seemingly had none. Most of them he had quickly realised were indeed only brain exercises, theoretical concepts without any further usage.
But there were exceptions to this and whenever he found one he was overjoyed. His husband was very profound in putting them to use whenever or wherever they could be applied.
While he went through the sparse notes of a Gondolindrim scholar who had sadly not survived the Fall of Gondolin he glanced over to the table beside the large window where a chess game waited to be finished. A smile formed on his lips.
-
"Chess? What's so interesting about that?" Ereinion asked and picked up one of the pieces Tyelpë had carved for Aracundo out of soapstone. It wasn't his brother's best piece of work but Aracundo loved them regardless, it was the latest begetting day gift he had received, the first in their new home. He treasured them.
"It's a good exercise," Aracundo replied and smiled. He pointed to the seat across the chess board. "Why not try and learn? I can teach you."
Ereinion set down the piece again - not quite where it belonged but Aracundo was quick to fix that - and looked at him for a long time, without saying something.
"Why would you want to exercise in your free time? That doesn't make much sense. Free time is free time after all."
His logic didn't make much sense to Aracundo. Exercises were fun after all, especially when they had something to do with thinking and logic. What did Ereinion do when he had nothing to do? Did he just laze around in the midday sun and do nothing? Aracundo couldn't be able to do this. He would be overcome with the desire to do anything.
"It's also a lot of fun," Aracundo tried. "At least for me. But if His Highness isn't interested in learning I wouldn't blame him."
His attempt at getting out of a discussion before it began took an unexpected turn for him. Instead of nodding and turning away to go and laze around, Ereinion frowned, pulled back the chair on the other side of the table and took a seat.
"It isn't that I'm not interested," the prince stated, avoiding Aracundo's eyes. He chewed on the inside of his cheek. "It's just that I've never played before…"
Aracundo beamed.
"Then I'll teach you!"
Ereinion blushed and nodded.
-
"You win every time…"
"I have more experience than you, Ereinion. When you have played some more and figured out a strategy I'm sure that you will be able to best me. You learn really quick after all."
Ereinion looked at him with skepticism but didn't say anything more. Aracundo wanted to laugh but didn't as he arranged the chess pieces once more in their starting position on the board. His new chess pieces - ones one of his distant uncles had brought with him from across the sea, originally meant for his mother who like him loved to play - too pretty and expensive for the old run down board they were using. Wood was rare these days. Aracundo didn't want to waste even a little bit on something trivial like this.
"Do you have time for another game?" he asked his friend with a smile. Ereinion nodded.
"As long as nothing comes up I should," he said. Both of them knew that something could come up at any moment, that these peaceful games were the most leisure Ereinion got these days. As High King and as General he had a stacked schedule and had to be ready for battle at all times. Aracundo on the other hand just like Tyelpë had been removed from all battle activities because of his Feanorian blood. No soldier from across the sea or native to Beleriand wanted to fight on the side of s Feanorian. It didn't bother Aracundo. He could work with the tacticians while Tyelpë repaired weapons and armour.
"Well then," Aracundo said as he finished rearranging the pieces. "Since you lost, you may begin."
Ereinion looked at the board thoughtfully. It was the sort of look he got when he was thinking about something that he was very serious about. Aunt Lalwen had said that he looked very much like his father when he did so but Aracundo couldn't testify this.
"How… about a bet," he said after a while, his gray eyes sparkling. Aracundo raised an eyebrow.
"A bet?"
"Yes a bet, not that I'm going to win it any time soon but if I win just one game you have to grant me a wish, no matter what."
The smile Ereinion gave him made Aracundo's poor heart skip a beat. A bet. Oh dear that could end one of two ways and Aracundo wasn't sure if he was ready for either.
"I won't humiliate you!" Ereinion added hastily. "It will be harmless I swear!"
"No swearing!" Aracundo said automatically, very serious and sincere. No swearing. That was a rule.
"But I mean it. I won't humiliate you, won't force you to do anything you don't want to. Promise."
Aracundo nodded.
"Alright…"
-
Throughout the war he didn't win a single time. For some reason though he didn't seem bothered by this at all anymore, instead any time he lost he seemed more and more eager for the next game. Aracundo could feel himself falling for this stubborn, stubborn man.
Oddly enough this made him anticipate the day the other one finally won even more.
-
The day he did win was some few years after the war. They were seated in one of the many gardens of the royal palace, on a blanket amidst the flowers Aracundo had planted himself. Their chess board was new, made and decorated by Ereinion himself, yet they weren't using the new pieces along with it. Ereinion had insisted that they use the old ones made by Tyelpë.
"Like when we were children."
Aracundo could not say no to him, not anymore. He had discovered quite a while ago that he couldn't deny the other man anything anymore, no matter how silly or trivial. Only a few days ago they had gone and collected seashells and lazed around on the beach the entire afternoon. Aracundo had forgotten what it was like to be without worry and as it seemed so had Ereinion.
Their chess games were a wonderful distraction. The only time either of them felt truly free from any duties. The only leisure time they allowed themselves, even though the bet was an ever present factor during their games.
The bet that was now over. Aracundo looked at his king, trapped and with no way of escape. He had lost. They had played this game consistently for nearly a century and a half and this was the first time Aracundo had lost. He couldn't be more proud.
He looked at his smiling friend.
"Congratulations!" he said and Ereinion nodded seriously but instead of demanding his price here and now he sat up and began to put the chess board and pieces out of the way, back into their chest, making room on the blanket in between them. He took his time but Aracundo could see how his hands were shaking with excitement.
Once finished he shifted a little, seemingly uncertain of what to say. That was new. Ereinion had never been someone who struggled with his words.
"You promised no humiliation," Aracundo reminded him. Ereinion nodded, his ears red.
"Not for you," he said, voice cracking.
"Why would you want to wish for something that would be humiliating for you?" Aracundo found himself asking.
"Because I know I would also like it very much. It's just that I don't know if you will like it the same way I would…"
Ereinion shifted a little closer, their noses touching.
"Because," he said. "I wish for this."
Aracundo's first kiss was not like how he had read about first kisses in those romance novels the Edian tended to write. There was too much nose, too little experience on both sides, the feeling of other lips on his was weird but it was the best possible outcome for this bet.
He felt like it was the perfect first kiss regardless.
-
He awoke when soft lips touched his earlobe. His mind had drifted away from the waking world too caught up in his thoughts. He slowly blinked away the fogginess that had settled in front of his eyes and was met with his husband's gentle smile.
"You should not wait for me, Aryo," he said quietly and kissed his brow. Aracundo made a small noise in protest. Of course he would wait for his husband. It was only fair… yet he had drifted off again instead of staying present and awake. A shame.
"Rest is important for you. Your mother was very clear when she ordered me to take care of you on our wedding day, you know? And if we're both being very honest with one another, I fear both her and your brother more than most things…"
Aracundo huffed a little and lifted his head from his papers. One of them stuck to his cheek but was swiftly removed by his husband's gentle hand. One more kiss was placed on his face, this time on his forehead.
"Are you coming to rest with me?" Aracundo asked. "Or do you have more meetings to attend?"
"In the morning again but for this night I'm all yours my dear."
He held out his hand for Aracundo to take and let him past the side table with their unfinished chess game and past the balcony where the two wine flukes were still waiting and past the normally closed doors into their shared bedroom.
Aracundo could only stand still as his husband lifted the circlet from his head and removed any ornaments, earrings, rings (save for their wedding band), bracelets and necklaces that he was obligated to wear because it was Noldorin tradition.
Aracundo had never really cared about Noldorin traditions that much, his mother being Telerin and him growing up being surrounded by mainly Sindar and Edain. But when he wore the small trinkets Ereinion had gifted him over the years of their courtship made his husband's eyes sparkle with happiness.
So he continued wearing them.
The small smile that graced his husband's features was worth any annoying tradition.
When they were done undressing and changing into simple light nightgowns they huddled together under the covers seeking each other's warmth and comfort. Aracundo buried his face in the other man's neck, breathing in the smell of ink and pine trees, while soft fingers combed through the long white strands of his hair.
"I'm exhausted," Ereinion proclaimed quietly. "Here I was thinking that ruling would be easier once the war is over and we all can return to a peaceful life. And yet.. yet they come and ask about taxes and land and legal privileges."
"You are doing great I'm sure," Aracundo replied and looked up at him. His husband smiled fondly but there was still a frown in between his brows. Aracundo was determined to make it go away.
"You think so, Aryo? Or are you just saying that so that I don't feel bad?"
"No, Ereinion, you're wonderful at organising and planning. You will most definitely find a way to make the people happy. It will just take some more time and effort. Tirion wasn't built in one day either "
He earned a kiss on his bare shoulder and one on his cheekbone for this, as well as a smile half hidden in the comfortable darkness of their room.

First time I write something that's exclusively about my Tolkien OCs. The PoV character is Maglor's daughter Gilrin, Aracundo is Curufins secondborn son. Might as well share it now, maybe I find the inspiration to write more about these two layer on!
Sometimes Gilrin would look at her cousin and wonder what would make him smile again, what would erase the frown between his brows, what would make the dark shadows under his eyes go away, what would spark happiness in his empty stare but she could find no answer.
Talking to him is no option.
Aracundo doesn't talk.
Ever.
She cannot remember a moment in which she has heard his voice before, heard him laugh or even whisper. There was always silence surrounding him.
She wonders if he is mute by choice or by a strike of bad luck like her sister Gilloth.
Fact is he doesn't talk. He uses hand signs he developed himself to communicate with Elrond and Erestor, who are about the only ones who know the full language. She suspects that her mother knows a handful of signs too but she herself doesn't and so she can't talk to him.
She can talk at him but that is boring. She doesn't like having one-sided conversations. She has had enough of those with father on his really bad days and most of his better days as well. Just talking on end about this and that without knowing if the other is even interested just feels as if she is intruding somehow.
She doesn't want that.
She thinks about painting something for him. As a gift. But when she sits down in front of her canvas she realises she doesn't even know what Aracundo likes. Does he even like paintings? Would he like landscapes more or rather a still life?
She has never seen the inside of his chambers so she doesn't know.
It frustrates her to no end.
This is her cousin, the closest member of her family aside from her parents and her siblings and she doesn't know anything about him.
He certainly knows a lot about her, she can imagine that. She has grown up around him, he has had a lot of time to watch her do so and maybe listen to Elrond talk about her. Elrond loves to talk about them, his siblings and children. It's just a very Elrond-like thing.
And Gilrin knows for a fact that Elrond spends time with him ever since Aracundo came to reside at Imladris for an extended period of time. She imagines that they do this because Aracundo is so silent and sad - she doesn't want to say he is depressed because she has no clue if that is the right way to describe Aracundo's current state.
Elrond should be able to help him regardless. He is a healer after all, a very powerful one at that. The best Gilrin's mother would insist and Gilrin very much agrees with her.
She stares at the empty canvas in front of her.
It's difficult, so so difficult. A totally different kind of difficult, than the kind she faced with the painting she did for her sister's and Erestor's wedding or the one's she did after Celebrían sailed and Nelladon… when Nelladon died.
Gilrin suppresses the tears that form in the corners of her eyes as she thinks about her beloved big brother. He would have known what makes Aracundo happy. He had known their cousin for much longer. Perhaps Aracundo had been happier when Nelladon had been a child.
She throws her head back and looks at the ceiling. What to do? What to draw?
She could draw him. A portrait maybe… but that doesn't sound like the best idea for a gift that is supposed to make him happy. Maybe the sea? She kind of associates him with the sea. Mainly because of his hair which is white like sea foam but still!
She could… maybe draw them together?
Gilrin looks at her canvas again.
Aracundo doesn't like to talk with people. She doesn't like to talk at people without getting a response.
Maybe this could help?
She could show him that she wanted to be friends with him, that she saw him as family and didn't want him to be sad and suffer. If words weren't a good solution maybe a painting like this will?
One with the two of them, the sea, the stars and a lot of heart and soul poured into it.

hey! yo! you mind talking a bit more about the extended fëanorian family ocs you have? how many there are, how they’re related, when they’re born, the rough arc of their life?
Hello thank you for your ask! No I don't mind talking about them at all! I love them all very much but please be prepared that this is going to be a long one and that I couldn't even fit everything I want to talk about in here
I have talked about Maglor's, Caranthir's and Curufin's wives before so I left them out on purpose. So I'm just going to talk about the third and fourth generation here.
If you exclude Elrond and Elros Maglor and his wife Cellin have four children and in order of their birth their names are Gilloth, Nelladon, Gilrin and Belegur. Gilloth has a son named Arrod, none of the other three are married or have children. Curufin and his wife Aiwë have one more child besides Celebrimbor, Aracundo. Celebrimbor himself has a son named Aenion. Caranthir and Calairie remain childless. I'm not sure yet where Gil-Galad belongs family wise in my headcanon but let's just assume he's Orodreth's son for convenience.
I don't exactly have stories for them all. Aracundo, Nelladon and Aenion are probably the most fleshed out one's when it comes to their stories but I love them all regardless.
A badly drawn family tree for reference. If you want some more details there are about 2k words of bullet points under the cut :)
Gilloth
Daughter of one of Maedhros's guards and Maglor's second in command
Born some time before the Nirnaeth Arnoediad
Both her parents die in the Nirnaeth, and she is taken in by Maglor and his wife Cellin and is raised as their daughter
Loses her voice during the War of Wrath but refuses to tell anyone how it happened (possible Trauma related?)
Helps Celebrimbor run Eregion in the S.A
Is very interested in architecture and has great talent
Also helps with the construction of Rivendell and moves there after Eregion falls
Has great impact on her siblings upbringing
She and Erestor start courting after Glorfindel locks them in a room together and only allows them out after Erestor confesses his feelings
They marry mid Third Age
Their only child is called Araráto or Arrod in Sindarin
Because Maglor has given all his children a father name (be they his real children or not) she got one as well
It's Tintanárë (Sparkling Fire)
She's very close with Aracundo especially during the latter half of the second Age and the early Third Age
Her favourite people in Middle Earth are dwarves. She gets along well with them and even learns some Khuzdul from Narvi because she can't just reveal the secret
She is very strong at Oswanë and uses is constantly to communicate
Elrond has a lot of headaches because she directs her absurd thoughts at him to annoy him
Arrod is her sunshine and she would die for him
Not a very good warrior but she's doing her best
Aracundo
Second Born son of Curufin and Aiwë of the Teleri
Fathername: Artafinwë (Exalted Finwë)
He's my depressed disaster gay
Tall boy™ (maybe even taller than Maedhros?)
Born: 464 F.A (same year as Turin because reasons) in Nargothrond
He doesn't remember his dad because his parents parted ways after the Lúthien incident
He grows up in Cirdans care because that's where his mom took him
His best friend growing up was Ereinion even though the other is several years older than him
He doesn't have a lot of temperament and is more like his mother, calm and sensitive
Fights in the War of Wrath as Ereinion's second in command but is more known for his strategies and not for his actions on the battlefield
He and Ereinion get married early into the Second Age (yes he's Gil-Galad's husband and they love each other very much fight me)
He goes absolutely berserk once he sees his brother used as a banner of Sauron's forces after Eregion falls and probably takes down half their army by himself
People who knew Maedhros had a very very vivid flashback that day
When his mother sails not long after he remains in Middle Earth to fight Sauron
He gets much more quiet and reserved after losing his brother, mother and nephew in one go
He is very much pro Last Alliance and openly supports Elendil but mostly because he wants to avenge Celebrimbor's death
Uh… you know who dies during that battle? Ereinion and Aracundo blames himself for it
He stops speaking and becomes a shadow of himself afterwards
Refuses both the crown and Vilya
Lives with Cirdan for some time but moves to Rivendell after Celebrían sails to support Elrond
Has no big part in the second ring war
He sails alongside Cirdan and Celeborn
His life gets from good to worse to tragic to suffering
But he gets reunited with Ereinion in Valinor so it's not a total tragedy
Nelladon
Maglor's and Cellin's first biological child
Born: 1700 S.A
Died: 2770 T.A.
Has Nerdanel's signature red hair but otherwise full on takes after his mother's side of the family
His fathername is Russanáro (copper fire)
Aso has the epithets Copperhead from the dwarves, Pityatinto (Little Sparkle) from his grandfather and Tyalmahto (Toymaker) from the Numenorians
Self sacrificing idiot (we'll get to that later)
His passion is toymaking but also woodworking but he's also a great singer and loves storytelling
For every new baby family member he makes an abundance of toys and when all of them grow up he travels the world to make toys for the children of other families
The only members of his own family to never receive a toy from him are his younger brother Belegur, as well as his cousins on his mother's side of the family (all of them are born after his death)
A very good boy, only wants to make the people happy
He finds Aenion again with the dwarves of Erebor after they establish their kingdom there
Tries to talk him into visiting their family but stays unsuccessful until his death
Speaking of his death and self sacrificing
He dies during Smaugs attack on Erebor while he tries to make time for Thrain and Thror to escape. He faces Smaug in the throne room with nothing more than a iron shield on him
And burns
He fully knew he was going to die but he did it for his friends
Probably aroace
Also the first member of the House of Fëanor to get re-embodied
Gilrin
Maglor's and Cellin's only biological daughter and Fëanor's only biological granddaughter
Born: 20 T.A.
Like Celegorm she takes after Miriel in terms of appearance but inherited her grandfather Tinwës blonde hair
Not the tallest but still like half an inch taller than Fëanor and Curufin
Has a lot of artistic talent and can paint life like images
She painted the wall painting of Isildur cutting of Sauron's finger only with a very bad sketch from Glorfindel and a mental image provided by Galadriel as a reference
Basically always happy and smiling
Hates it when she has one-sided conversations, feels like she's intruding somehow
Celebrían is her big idol and she was devastated when she got hurt and had to sail
Was even more devastated after Nelladons death and isolated herself for a while
Starts traveling with Gildor and his group from that point on to get some distraction and is among the elves who meet Frodo, Pippin and Sam in the Shire
Will not sail until her parents do
Does her best to support Aragorn as the new king of Gondor because she feels like that's what's she owes to Elrond and partially also Elros even though she never met him
The most Avarian out of her siblings
Belegur
Finwë 2.0
Seriously the boy looks like Finwë as much as Arwen looks like Lúthien
People find it quite disturbing (People are Maglor, Glorfindel and Cirdan)
Fathername: Cuináro (living fire)
Born: either 3019 T.A. or somewhere between 10 and 50 Fourth Age
Youngest member of the House of Fëanor even younger than his youngest nephew
Elladan, Elrohir, Arwen and Arrod call him little uncle and he hates it (he loves it but pretends he hates it)
Spends most of his childhood in Gondor because his parents moved the like almost immediately to be with Aragorn and Arwen
Has a deeper connection to men than all of his other siblings (aside from Elros for obvious reasons)
He feels weird when he sees his best friends from childhood grow up, get children and then see those grow up and have children of their own all while he himself is still a child/teenager/going adult
When Elfwinë's son Éomund II. who he was closest with dies, Belegur is devastated
His relationship with mortality becomes rather complicated afterwards
Dedicated scholar and historian
Also only sails when his parents will
Has a very easy time befriending people
Probably the best warrior out of his biological siblings just because Gilrin hates fighting and Nelladon just doesn't care about weapons
In possession of the one Feanorian Braincell might as well have inherited it from his mother)
Aenion
Celebrimbor's son
Born somewhere between 1620 and 1680 S.A
I have no idea who his mother is, any suggestions?
Thought about making him the love child of Tyelpë and Annatar but this feels kinda weird but also hilarious
Looks like Curufin acts like Caranthir
Cantëacurufinwë™ (blame the fact that Tyelpë is called Nelyacurufinwë)
Aenion probably isn't his real mothername but he calls that himself and everyone just does the same
Grumpy cat™
Raised by dwarves after Eregion fell and stayed with Durin's line until the Sacking of Erebor (Thrain brought him to Rivendell)
Speaks almost no Sindarin but is fluent at Westron and Khuzdul
Has no interest in learning Quenya
Creative use of swear words
A Smith like almost everyone else in his father's line
If he is Sauron's child, he has very much cat eyes and you can't convince me otherwise, also the Ring would probably love him
He goes back to Erebor after the dwarves retake it and helps them rebuild it
Feels very guilty for Nelladons death because he couldn't convince him to flee with him
Can't look Cellin or Maglor in the eye because of this
Fights during the War of the Ring alongside the Dwarves of Erebor
Sails with Gimli and Legolas
Arrod
Son of Gilloth and Erestor
Born sometime after his parents wedding
Takes more after his father in terms of appearance but has been influenced a lot by Glorfindel growing up
A total goof
One of the elves who 'greet' Thorin and company when they arrive in Rivendell
Gets into unnecessary fights very often
Very protective
Loves Estel to death and is very sad when Aragorn grows up and doesn't want to be carried around piggyback style anymore
Does it anyways
Idk I have not thought about him a lot
Here and here are Picrews that visualise them :) || Tolkien OC Overview here

Meet my Tolkien OCs
I saw that @yellow-feathered-faerie did a similar thing for their OCs and I thought why not do it as well! They're listed in alphabetical order with some extra information on the side.
The list might be expanded over time!
Aenion - Also named Cantëacurufinwë. Celebrimbor's and Sauron's child and therefore both extremely talented and probably very cursed. He was raised by Durin's people.
Aeweneth - Thranduil's sister. Still mourning the death of her wife and father in the last ring war.
Aiwë Nendil - Curufin's wife. A Telerin Silversmith who only went to Beleriand for her child's sake.
Andis - One of the Dúnedain and a very skilled healer. The wife of Gilorn and mother of the half elven Meneldil and Isilmir.
Aracundo - Curufin's younger child, Gil-Galad's husband. Highly intelligent mathematician and physicist. Refused the crown after his husband's death and hasn't spoken since then either.
Arrod - Maglor's grandchild through his daughter Gilloth and her husband Erestor. Extremely lively and mischievous.
Ataniel - Eldarion's twin sister and wife of Elfwine of Rohan. A just and strong willed princess and queen.
Belegur - Maglor's youngest son. A dedicated historian and scholar of languages. Has great love for mankind.
Calarië - Caranthir's spouse. Though born with a male body she always saw herself as a woman.
Carmatan - Nerdanel's brother. He assisted Fëanor in the making of the Silmarils.
Cellin - Maglor's wife, Daeron's soul sister. Her determination and dedication towards her family made her last through many hardships in life.
Curulaereth - Thranduil's wife. A Silvian woman renowned for her fighting skills and hatred towards the giant spiders.
Curuwen - Mahtan's wife, Nerdanel's mother. Her stone carvings decorate the walls of the royal palace in Tirion.
Elumir - Son of Meneldil Adassarion and Silwen Thranduiliel. Takes a lot after his great-grandfather Oropher in character and appearance.
Éofin I. - Grandson of Elfwine of Rohan. His soul bond with Belegur is what earns him the opportunity to sail westwards.
Eorl II. - Son of Elfwine and Ataniel. People call him the second coming of Helm Hammerhand.
Ethir - A marchwarden of Doriath and personal guard of Princess Elwing. Dies in the Second Kinslaying.
Finrod I. - Son of Eldarion and crown prince of Gondor. He inherited the golden hair of the Arafinwean bloodline.
Gilloth - Adoptive daughter of Maglor, wife of Erestor. Lost her voice during the War if Wrath and developed a strong sense for oswanë afterwards.
Gilorn Adasser - Maglor's brother-in-law, husband of Andis of the Dúnedain. A formidable warrior.
Gilrin - Maglor's younger daughter. A very skilled artist and a gentle soul, who was especially close with Celebrían and idolised her a lot.
Isilmir - Half elven son of Gilorn Adasser and Andis of the Dúnedain. Felt always more drawn towards his human half but ultimately makes the choice for immortality upon his death in battle.
Ithilion - Son of Meneldil Adassarion and Silwen Thranduiliel. A wild spirit that uses every opportunity to cause trouble wherever he goes.
Iúlien - Handmaiden of Melian and Ethir's mother. Her fate is unknown.
Mancariel - Nerdanel's youngest sibling.
Maquentima - Mancariel's wife and the daughter of Rumil of Tirion.
Meneldil - Half elven son of Gilorn Adasser and Andis of the Dúnedain. Bears an uncanny resemblance to a certain tragic figure from ages long past.
Mirwë - Brother of Miriel Therindë. Refuses to go west with his sister and only reunites with her many ages later.
Morgil - Oldest child of Tinwë and Norian. Their grim expression hide a gentle and good natured soul.
Mámandil - Maia of Irmo Lórien, who guides young children to sleep. They establish the tradition of counting sheep to fall asleep.
Narwë - A member of the Nelyar. Father of Norian, who died early in his daughters childhood.
Nelladon - Maglor's oldest biological child. A skilled woodworker and toy maker. Sacrificed himself in Smaugs attack on Erebor to buy the dwarves some more time.
Ninquelotë - Youngest Princess of Gondor. Holds all life in high regard, devoted follower of Yavanna.
Norian - The fierce and devoted leader of the Lanyar tribe. Mother of Morgil, Cellin and Gilorn Adassar.
Nólemë Cestarë - Finwë's sister. Felt obligated to take care of those who did not wish to go westwards.
Silwen Erassil - Thranduil's daughter and wife of Meneldil Adassarion. A lively soul and lover of small animals.
Tawandil - Thranduil's oldest son, crown prince of the Woodland realm. Lost his eyesight from the poisoned bite of a giant spider.
Thulwë - Curufin's father-in-law, Cirdan's soul brother. The best sailor in Valinor before Eärendil 's arrival.
Tindelómë - Maia of Lórien, also called the Dreamwarden. The first one to take up arms against the nightmares caused by Melkors corruption of the world.
Tinwë Lórnammon - The leader of the Lanyar, husband of Norian. Lost his eyesight shortly after he awakened but remained ever calm and caring.

Random Coffee Shop!Au Headcanons nobody asked for
I came up with this AU a while ago, in which Elrond and Elros work at a coffee shop and Celebrían is one of the regular costumers. Elros suffers through Celebrían's and Elrond's mutal pining.
Elrond and Elros are Maglor foster children for reasons I haven't actually figured out yet
Maybe their parents are dead, maybe they didn't think they were capable of raising twins or ready yet and decided to give the boys into foster care because of this
Elrond studies medicine, Elros law and politics
Both of them went to military service after High School, which is why they started studying when they were around 24
Celebrían is her parents only child but when she was fourteen Celeborn took in the ten year old son of a distant cousin who couldn't care for him anymore
Amroth and her have some differences but they generally get along pretty well
She studies art and design
Elrond has been going through a bisexual crisis ever since he met Gil-Galad for the first time (who wouldn't?)
When he was sixteen Elros decided that he didn't want long hair and shaved it all off
Maglor nearly had a stroke when he came home to a lot of hair in the kitchen and Elrond crying in the bath room
Despite popular belief Elros was actually the better student in High School in everything except for languages
The twins work at a coffee shop on campus to earn some money on the side (Elrond for some books he wants to buy, Elros probably for a video game or something)
Celebrían goes to said coffee shop to study because the library is too full for her liking (aka the places near the windows are always occupied)
Gil-Galad is the adoptive son of Maedhros and Fingon
He's is in his final semester
He studies child psychology and education
Elros still has a huge amount Trading Cards from TV show he last watched when he was like ten but they have like emotional value to him
Elrond thinks it's ridiculous while still holding onto every single postcard he ever received
Both of them have their strengths but neither can draw
Out of all of them Gil-Galad has the best and Elrond the worst handwriting
Elros makes the best coffee, Elrond just has a very very good eye for decoration and aesthetics
They share a flat near campus that Maglor rents for them
Their style is a mixture of IKEA and secondhand stuff they found at the flea market
Speaking of flea markets: They go there like every weekend after work. It's their bonding time and they never leave with empty hands
One time Elros brought back the ugliest stuffed monkey ever
He named him Mr Charles and he now lives on their couch
Elrond hates that thing but doesn't say anything against it because it makes Elrond happy for some reason
Celebrían loves it but only because she's into really weird stuff
Gil-Galad never sits on the couch when Mr Charles is there NEVER
He'd rather poke a hornets nest
Gil also spends more time at the twins place than his own unless his boyfriend comes to visit during the holidays
(In case anyone's interested his boyfriend is my OC Aracundo but I don't think he has that big of a role)
Celebrían still lives with her parents because Galadriel and Celeborn live in a reasonable distance from campus
She makes her own clothing something she learned from her grandaunt Findis and earns herself a little money on the side with this
Elros plays Horror games despite hating it when he gets scared but he feels like he needs to prove himself something
Elrond rarely gets scared by anything
There's still Finwean family drama going on but like their generation just doesn't care about it lol

Aiwë Nendil || Wife of Curufin
She was the daughter of the Telerin shipwright Eärillo and a distant member of the royal family.
Born with a gentle heart and soul, she was often easily brought to tears, yet she was determined to reach her goals and follow her passion. She found great delight in the making of jewelry and often ventured to Tirion, so that she could learn from the Noldorin craftsmen. Her great love was the crafting of rings, a passion she made sure to pass on to her children.
It was in Tirion where she met her future husband Curufinwë and they bonded over a shared love for smithing and crafting. It didn't take long for them to develop a mutual desire to keep eachother company, which eventually led to their marriage.
She followed the Noldor to Beleriand for the sake of her older son Tyelperinquar. The relationship to her husband remained tainted throughout the first age because of what had happened at Alqualondë. Nevertheless, she gave birth to a second child, Aracundo, who resembled her in face and heart but had inherited his father's great intelligence.
After Tyelperinquar's death, she returned home across the sea and sought healing in the gardens of Lórien. Although she knew she could never forgive her husband for what he had done, she longed for him and her sons to return home to her one day.

I was bored and this happened. Now I present to you... all the Tinweans (Maglors wife + in-laws)? Or at least the first and second generation. From left to right you have: Tinwë and Norian, their children Morgil, Cellin and Gilorn.
Everyone inherited mom's eye colour.
Also while we're at it have some Aracundo (Celebrimbor's brother) and Aenion (Celebrimbor's son) as well because I have not talked about them enough but here's something to visualise them for Future reference:
Made with this Picrew, Tolkien OC Masterpost

Hi! For the ask game 12, 20 and 22?
Hello thank you for your ask 🌸
12. Likes to talk to code
(My English left me here but I assume this means speaking in a made up secret language??? Maybe?)
Aenion (Celebrimbors son) He has a lot of fun talking to people who he doesn't like in his own made up Sindarin dialect to mess with them. Sometimes he just talks backwards or pretends to not understand them. He also speaks Khuzdul (dwarves raised him after Eregion fell) and since this is kind of like a secret language I guess it counts?
Also Aracundo (Celebrimbors brother) who is selective mute. He uses hand signs he developed himself to communicate but only Elrond, Cirdan and Erestor know what they mean.
20. Talks in song lyrics
Tinwë (Maglors father-in-law) when he's in the mood aka when he wants to annoy some important people who want to force him into some kind of social structure he doesn't agree with. He is not good at talking in song lyrics but it does the job of getting those people to avoid him.
Meneldil (Legolas's brother-in-law, also Maglors nephew) needs to be the right amount of drunk. If he drank too little he's just himself but kinda disoriented and if he is too drunk he will pass out immediately. You need to find the right amount of alcohol and he will talk without stopping but in song lyrics. (Please don't make him drunk)
22. Is smol
BELEGUR (Maglors youngest child). Ok he's only smol because he's baby and still a literal child but he's smol regardless. Smol and adorable.
Otherwise it would be Nólemë (Finwë's sister). She's like a head smaller than your average elf but just because she's small doesn't mean she doesn't know how to pick a fight. Don't fight her...
The only two of these OCs I have ever talked about here on this blog are Nólemë and Tinwë and I guess I mentioned Belegur and Meneldil in passing but... Aracundo and Aenion have never been mentioned and they're some of my oldest OCs
I love them all
#i love Aracundo#he's my depressed gay son#and aenion is a little shit#Meneldil is a good guy but a bit grumpy (unless he's drunk)#Belegur is baby Finwë (like he's very much like him in terms of appearance and personality)#Nólemë looks like a cinnamon roll but could actually kill you#ask thingies#tolkien ocs#my ocs#niphredilien

20, 23, 28, 39
Thank you so much for you ask!
20. Likes to talk in song lyrics
Already answered here :)
23. Would murder someone if given the opportunity
Hmm... that's a difficult one but probably either Tawandil (Legolas's older brother) or Andis (Aragorns Aunt). Andis is the personification of the 'I'm a healer but' meme if you know that one. Tawandil wouldn't murder elves but everything else if they threatened him or his family or any of the Greenwood elves. He's always right at the front when they have to fight goblins or spiders.
Aside from them? Éofin probably (he's a rider of Rohan I wrote for a fic years ago and he kinda stuck with me). He has a lot of build up frustration and loves to let them out on orcs. He's kinda ruthless in battle though.
28. Would keep up with celebrity gossip
Gilloth? (Foster daughter of Maglor, actually the daughter of one of Maedhros's guards who died in the Nirnaeth Arnoediad) Probably her. For the most part she keeps Aracundo (Celebrimbors brother) company and they listen to the gossip that's going around court. So Aracundo too even though he doesn't care.
Ninquelótë and Ranyariel (Aragorns and Arwens daughters) too! Both for different reasons though. Ninquelótë uses the gossip for her own enjoyment and so that she can stay up to date, while Ranyariel probably has a hidden agenda (not that I know what she does with the gossip but that's the reason why it's a hidden agenda I guess).
39.Can knock out someone’s tooth in one punch
Badass Lady squad: Norian (Maglors mother-in-law), Nólemë (Finwë's sister), Curulaereth (Thranduils wife) and Andis. All of them without question. Don't fight them, don't make them angry, you'll loose a tooth.
Also Aenion (Celebrimbors son), Tawandil and maybe Nelladon (Maglors son) but if that happens it's most likely an accident.
Once again a lot of OCs I haven't talked about in length yet but I really need to.

Thank you so much!! I love him so much! He's absolutely perfect! 🌸💕♥️
Hello, I'm so glad you liked my edit! Since you offered me a drawing can I ask you to draw my OC Aracundo for me please? (He's the one with white hair. I would have written you a direct message but couldn't) I hope you're having a great day/night ^^
Oh my goodnesses!
First of all, I wanna thank you again for the Alacurnis' moodboard you made for me. She's been my Middle-Earth companion for years now and seeing her like that, from a totally different perspective, is priceless.
And for that...
Tadaaa! Here's my vision of your OC, Aracundo!
Plus...
... a few more Aracundos!
Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy, enjoy and enjoy!
