There it is, the most redrawable scene from Howl’s Moving Castle! Also oc/self insert reveal. I call her Foehn in my own mind but that’s just the name I use for myself (and I don’t like names that sound too main character-y for ocs inserted into existing stories) so I’ve been considering Nicole. If you have name suggestions I’d appreciate them though! There’s also a rough draft of a storyline but I’m gonna have to rewatch the first season and a half to decide exactly how it’ll begin.

I love doing ghibli redraws, it’s art without putting effort into doing the poses. Except if you count the entire hour I probably spent on Starscream’s hand.

Hi hello, I’ve been pulled into this space by @dynamo-propaganda and @trislosher-propaganda by the virtue of playing ranked with these two and cleaning house Playing since Splatoon 2 and I’ve been an anchor main for a good majority Who knew support is way more fun when you have comms up Anyway I will probably be using this blog to dump my brain out about my OC as I have no artistic talent to vent it out, and also clip dumps maybe -Foehn

hiii hope this is alright but I kinda wanna talk about my current ocs I'm obsessed with and saw your post :) Ciel Finlay, aka Maelstrom is the first one, not quite a wind of destruction but definitely up there in Desperado's rankings. cybernetically altered after an accident and therefore in quite a bit of debt. he's been modified so if you put liquids in a certain container in his body, he can then emit said substance from his pores, and uses this for things like poison. does it make sense? absolutely fucking not. but I think it's fun.

second is Dr Alice Foehn, one of the scientists at World Marshal who is on the run post MGRR. she specialises in cybernetics, but grew interested in a side project concerning a Metal Gear with an advanced AI much like Bladewolf. she grew obsessed. she eventually had her brain placed inside the Gear, and the two work in unison, human and machine blended together piloting the metal body. main antagonist of a fic I'm writing.

final is Julia Welch, aka Gaseous Snake, a lost clone who is trying to live her life as best as she can as a bar singer after a rough time in the foster system, but unfortunately has been kind of dragged into Big Boss' mess. she's facing a lot of existential dread due to accelerated aging.

all of these are very well thought out and are absolutely awesome... 10/10 would draw them myself thank you for sharing with me THIS IS SO EPIC WYUWUAUU!!!!!!! its always on brand for one of bbs clonekids to get dragged into his mess i think!

A concept doodle from my notes for Cynder’s mother. She’s a Shadow/Fire dragon and themed after a lunar eclipse. And I am STRUGGLING with her color scheme. Cynder has to have at least one morally ambiguous goth mom. Them’s the rules. It may have been done dozens of times, but it WORKS. 

However, it is extremely hard to do something unique with this concept. People have been making designs for Cynder’s mom for over a decade. It is very hard to not make her look too much like other people’s cool OCs (*coughcough* Feuriah and Therma *coughcough*). *buries head in hands* I’m thinking either Schade or Deske/Duske (no, I did not make those names out of thin air, they are middle/old English forms of “shade” and “dusk”) for her name, but any name suggestions are welcome (the more they sound like they belong to a goth metal frontwoman the better). Cynder’s other parent is a melanistic continental Wind dragon called Foehn or Stormich.
