the vibe im getting from FHJY is that this is the season where they really lean into the high school aspect. that probably sounds bonkers since its called Fantasy High, but like. hear me out.

Freshman year, they come at high school from the "John Hughes" "80s teen movie trope" vibe, which is to say different from the real-world experience of high school.

it works great! operating in that frame of reference makes everything flow really well, and hits all the high-school-related-media notes in a very satisfying way while putting its own spin on it and not getting bogged down by the actual slog that is high school in reality.

there's still a lot of more modern inspo, but it stays in the kinda expectation-suspension-tropey area of how 80s movie high school works.

Sophomore year is spring break! I believe in you! They're not at school! They're on an adventure!

They lean into being a teenager and coming-of-age themes a lot (obvs), but the only big reference point to the institution of high school is that it'll be worth 60% of their grade.

A huge point, to be sure, and the exact kind of objectively unfair but somehow not against the rules shit that happens in high school, but not the main driving force of the season.

arthur aguefort also does a bunch of wack shit but it's more fantasy than it is high school although its a lot of both.

they lean into adventuring as a set career path much more, with the school giving money for hirelings and offering a basic incentive for other students to go, so that's a loose connection to the real-world career counseling high schools have, but again, not the main thing.

VERY Important though: we are now very much in the present. The viral shrimp party, livestreaming Kalina, online banking, the epic of Gorgug building a cell tower? this isn't john hughes 80s town anymore, this is now. (at least in Solace).

Junior year

almost everything in the trailer is about academia

we've got the cool doodles-in-the-margins style art and intro

in the interviews and BTS (so far), the cast have talked a lot about what they were like in high school (not the 80s)

and the precedent that The Seven set where the MacGuffin was getting their GED? It's time.

we're getting into what is actually hell about high school - the institution itself. the arbitrary standards that academia in the US holds, and how it leaves behind, punishes, and fails its students in its extremely important role of preparing them for life as an adult.

i could talk about this all day, but personally for me the quote from the trailer that shot me back to my junior year of high school was "You have perfect grades, and it still might not be enough for you to graduate"

riz's arc this season is shaping up to punch me in the academia trauma and personally i can't wait for the catharsis

Brennan has shown time and time again that he Gets and wants to tell stories about the ways in which the US education system affects, hurts, shapes, traumatizes, changes people, and how they survive and recover from it and make their own lives. I for one am so so ready to see that reflected with the bad kids.

It's kinda sad that we don't get a yandere character. Like, I mean, some would make great yanderes (or almost all of them), but for now it feels like barely a tease. Like, I expected subaru to be the yandere-ish one (like kylar from dol), but it ended up being bait and switch.

Yes, I know Towa is right there, but his is more like being the big boss around, there's no stalking and unhealthy obsession.

It is but since it's a joseimuke it's not really like. . .a romance focused game/story? So a character who's romantically obsessed with the player might be too idk derailing? So I understand why they wouldn't have one--on the other hand, A3! has Masumi who's kinda yandere afair(may have been toned down? It's been years since i was into a3 and my memory isn't good so) so it's not like it's impossible.

(and obvs it works for DoL because 1. Kylar is dismissable and heavily ignorable and doesn't have a ton of impact as far as main story goes atm, 2. There's a ton of other stuff going on in DoL that a character who's obsessed with you is kind of the least of your worries and wouldn't necessarily do much to impact the plot or setting or the character's mission of survival. The story in TDB is linear, so to actually give a yandere any impact they'd have to be present a fair amount more, at least from my perspective. Then again they could be like. A background yandere, obsessing and collecting information from the shadows and it only comes up the rare times they show up at all, but. . .I dunno.)

I definitely agree a yandere would be nice if only because it's one of my favorite character tropes haha but maybe later on in the story? It's still really early, everyone and the dynamics and the worldbuilding and the relationships and such are still getting introduced, so there's still time for things to develop--and for additional characters to be introduced! (The previously missing Dionysia students are still alive for example! We'll probably meet them at some point.) Never hurts to have a little buildup!

I will note that one of Subaru's expressions is labeled "yandere".

(none of his homescreen dialogues use this expression and the way the actual scenes are coded is different so I can't view expressions in scenes to try and remember if this expression was used anywhere in game haha) it doesn't feel very yandere but it's important to consider that yandere characters are characters whose love is unhealthy and obsessive, not necessarily characters who are stalkerish or violent in their behavior. He actually looks a little regretful to me, as if his unhealthy attachment is something he's aware is bad and he feels stressed out by it--which fits his character, if he does turn out to be yandere in some way, that it'd bother him. It'd also fit with his affinity line about not trying to seem like he's testing you and worrying he's being weird. . .because he knows his internal feelings are quite weird. He's always bottling things up, so he restrains all the yandere lol.

And Towa has some yandere energy, but it's more directed towards Haru than the player lol. He does straight up try and poison Ren with flowers after all. As far as we know he's not obsessive towards him though, so it's just a vibe. You're right in that he is, by his own admission, the boss from his own perspective, especially when it comes to anomalies. He's kind of like if the ~domineering ceo~ type was full of whimsy and silliness lolol.

theories + predictions before tgr comes out

not in any particular order. spoilers for tsc and obv aftg. if any of these happen individually i will be insufferable. bonus if more than one of these ends up being true. feeding my god complex fr.

jeremy killed a sibling. either accidentally or on purpose both works for me. tho it would be a million times more interesting if it was intentional. obv there are a million and one jeremy theories floating around but something about jeremy being a repented murderer endears me to him the most. like THAT'S the nora sakavic kinda character i know and love. anyway yeah there is definitely something weird about jer and his siblings tho. cat mentions two brothers, but so far we've only heard about annalise and bryson. cat also hesitates before saying "two brothers" so we can safely assume something happened with one of the brothers. my bet is that one of them is dead, that's why she hesitated to say. jer probably (definitely) had something to do with it. annalise also says that he ruined the family. and references the fall banquet of his freshman year. but idk if the siblings stuff and the banquet stuff is actually connected.

bryson tried to kill jer/they had a huge ugly fight/bryson was just abusive in general. i get these vibes. jer was desperate to avoid him and mentions him like once the whole book. cat mentions that he's a "tool" and a "jerk" and jer's convo with lucas about grayson is also notable, but that last part might just be bc jer's a nice guy, not to do with his own sibling issues. but yeah i think this is pretty likely, like they always had tension between them, then after mystery brother died, all of it came to a head and they had a really bad fight and someone was badly injured/nearly died.

annalise dies. this isn't very likely but i think this would be a PERFECT book two plot point. just imagine how it would WRECK jeremy. all of jer's carefully constructed masks and facades and fake smiles and pretending everything's fine would all come crashing down and it would essentially force my long-awaited jeremy crash out into action. it would force him to confront family issues, his older brother, his parents/step-parents??? and also the fact that he is deeply Not Ok™. also it would be a neat parallel that both jean and jer would now have dead younger sisters. bonus points if she dies in a car accident. if this happens i'm actually god.

kevjean interview goes horribly wrong somehow. my delusional ahh NEEDS neil to crash it but i can admit that that isn't likely and that i just miss my shayla. whatever. i'm pretty sure it's confirmed that kevjean IS having an interview together???? and since kevin is confirmed showing up in tgr i guess this will be it??? ok listen. i know nora said in the ec that kevin and jean would never be friends again, but i still have HOPE for them ok. kevjean you INVENTED one-sided homoerotic yearning. anyway i have no real thoughts about how it would go wrong probably just an interviewer stepping out of line and either jean or kevin crashing out during it. if someone attacks jean, i honestly honestly believe kevin would defend him. kevin is NOT a coward, and especially now that riko's dead and tetsuji is out of the picture, and after the whole "i've never been skiing" thing i doubt kevin is gonna be living in fear and paranoia and secrets anymore. and if he's gonna defend anyone to the press, it's obviously gonna be jean. and jean would do the same for kevin. guys i'm holding out so much hope for kevjean it's gonna ruin my life.

grayson death. is this not like, confirmed??? whatever i just need to see it happen. or hear of it happening. and i'll smile contentedly knowing that neil ordered the hit on a napkin at a thai restaurant. GOD i love that man like nobody can. it would also be very interesting to see jean, lucas and the other trojans' reactions to his death.

gameplay!!! i will admit, neil made me somewhat of an exy junkie asw. i'm so interested to see how jean narrates exy games and how the trojans play in their comps. unfortunately i doubt we'll see any championship games in book 2 but i'm hoping for book 3 and we get to see the trojans become champions for the first time!!! i have mixed feelings about the trojan red card thing but i wouldn't be mad if it happened. i kind of think it seems unrealistic tho tbh. but it WOULD be fun. yeah ummmm and i need to see like a scene where jeremy gets hurt and jean realises he cares IDC i am a SIMPLE simple girl. also i'm curious to see how the exy storyline plays out w jean. it's confirmed he never makes court, but i'm interested to see if he ends up actually enjoying the game, bc i think it wouldn't be a fitting end to the trilogy if he continues to play but resents it. i do think it is possible for the trojans to teach him how to actually love the game, but we'll see.

jeremy family drama. idk this is just a general note for uncovering more info about jeremy's complicated family. i need to know like, what's up with his dad. his dad is either dead or out of his life, because he only refers to his mother and stepfather. also why jer doesn't like being referred to by his last name and what he did to tear their family apart. contrary to popular opinion, i actually don't think it has anything to do with him being gay. i acc don't think his family knows he's gay. i feel like otherwise they would've just cut him off completely. like why is he still involved in campaigns and shit???

To me the core theme of arcane is this specific type of conflict that repeats over and over again in all the main aspects of the story that centers around 'sibling relationships'.

Starting with the two cities. We have Piltover and the bad side of Piltover. Technically they're supposed to be one and the same but one is the 'golden privileged child' while the other is disadvantaged and needs to rely on the rich side of Piltover for support, they can't do it by themselves. And then the rich side of Piltover fails in its duties of taking care of/protecting/supporting/whatever the poorer side and a split happens. Zaun is created and it becomes so dangerous and volatile, it becomes a menace and an active threat to itself/the outside and there's no going back. It's the monster Piltover created and even tho the Undercity suffered unfairly at this point it has become so monstrous there may be no improvement/redemption for it.

And obvs that's the exact same thing that happens with Vander/Silco and Vi/Jinx. However it's also imo completely applicable to Jayce/Viktor and even Heimer/Singed. Jayce and Viktor will only reach their break-up era in future seasons but it's a given this will happen but I know I obvs need to explain the Heimer/Singed example.

Based on what we know about them Heimer is just naturally immortal/long-living, how lucky for him, and completely lacks any ability to relate to beings who from his perspective live short life-spans. Meanwhile Singed is just a human and on top of that he had a 10yo child who died from some kind of disease(maybe?). Currently he is obsessed with discovering immortality: experimenting on ppl, mutating them, resurrecting corpses etc. possibly in an attempt to find a way to heal/resurrect his daughter. And we know him and Heimer were partners and that Heimer didn't help him and threw him out of the university or smth for his research. So the exact same dynamic as the other pairs.

So notice how we've got the cities, and then each city has its storyline, and each storyline has a pair of protags who reflect the conflict between the cities, and then each pair also has the pair that preceded them which also reflects the same conflict. In Zaun all these connections are about family ties: brothers, sisters, fathers/daughters, with inherited political/social roles like the Piltover sympathizer and criminal/revolutionary. Meanwhile Piltover storyline connections are about 'progress': science buddies, mentors and students, with Jayce succeeding Heimer as the barely-scientist-moreso-a-politician and Singed/Viktor being mad scientists. We've even got zaunite 'older siblings' associating with Piltover and piltovan 'younger siblings' being from/associating with Zaun.

Just really nice parallels all around.

But I actually have an honorable mention to add here at the end lol.

Mylo and Claggor. Obvs they don't quite fit cos they never develop into this kinda dynamic and they were never meant to but I can't help but notice the similarities. Claggor being the pure hearted hero archetype, looking like Vander, naturally good fighter, seemingly lacking insecurities, seems like the 'second in command' after Vi (second best with the fighting machine, Vander speaks to him second to get info about what happened), meanwhile Mylo giving off 3rd child vibes, full of insecurities and needing to prove himself, physically looks like a stick bug, a bit of a bully, "weird" lock-picking talents that he struggles with and isn't respected for (like Singed/Viktor's science, Powder's bombs or Silco's dream) that are actually super useful and impressive (like he could have been robbing millions from Piltover banks if he got adopted by Silco instead lol).

Interns & Teachers hcs best to worst

Morris obvs we know doesn't wanna trade his mentorship with Milla so they must get along well, or at least he thinks so! I think he really respects and admires her, and wants to impress her. Milla on her part is textually a very good teacher and caregiver so she probably has given Morris a lot to work with to grow and improve. Maybe Morris was even more of a rascal and trouble maker before we met him and Milla taught him to at least put that energy toward something productive. Like Pirate Radio!

I don't USUALLY like going to extra material for things I think are true but the art book says Adam is senior to the other interns which I think implies he actually has spent plenty of time with Truman, rather than the impression the game gives of "none at all hes in a coma, lol".

That being said I imagine their mentorship is on a very professional feeling level. they get along and maybe Truman even tries to be friendly and casual with the boy, but Adam is super focused on being a good student and working on his big historical project. After the mole incicent though maybe he loosens up! He nearly lost the chance to talk to his mentor ever again after all.

Gisu and Otto are super duper casual in contrast to Adam and Truman. Gisu skateboards into his lab, yells WHATS UP TEACH! Otto says something abt his latest project before throwing a wrench at Gisu who catches it mid sick skate flip because Otto just expects her to help with said project in exchange to credits + not having to do homework for a week. They barely talk outside of this bc the agreement is not spoken and just based on vibes and knowing winks.

After the games I think Lizzie swings back to Compton's and he gives her a stern look and a raised eyebrow like you didn't do my assignment? and Lizzies like dude I tried man. and she thinks shes gonna get a lecture but instead Compton's like I'm sorry about that, let's start over, and then they play chess and he wins 3 times in a row. He learns Lizzie likes "weird" and "ugly" animals like bugs and rats and he makes some new assignment about just observing them in the wild, maybe try to talk to them if she can! and reporting back to him. Lizzie still thinks thisis a bit lame but at least she doesnt have to set up a Goat Trap so its an improvement

Sam learns what Coach did at camp and she doesn't do anything actively malicious but she does give him horrible stink eye for like a week. afterwards they go back to getting along surprisingly well aside from all the times Sam says some shit that sounds oddly like a threat but it goes over Oleander's head like half the time.

If Adam and Truman are a good professional vibe, Norma and Hollis are a bit of a stinky professional vibe. Hollis obviously thinks shes a capable young girl, she did let her teach class while she was off meditating about bills. But Norma wants so much more than that and tries so so so hard to impress her even though she ALSO thinks her homework assignment is boring and childish. She goes to Hollis' office like I want a different assignment, with the unspoken want "do not treat her like a child". and Hollis is like oh ok do you want to learn some advanced techniques that come from reading this big dry book of theory as big as your head. and Norma is like well, no. and Hollis is like ok then do your assignment very neutrally and Norma leaves thinking SHE HATES ME!!! bc I think Norma probably has. bad responses to rejection.

Hopefully Norma improves over time though bc I think! I think Hollis could possibly see a lot of potential in her!! She might even see a girl who's impatient, prone to rash decisions, and wants to prove herself so badly, and see herself in her. which is something that's only just occured to me but i enjoy the idea a lot so thats where I'll end this.

I watched TMF 2 days ago because of edits I saw (and gacha phase didn't really left me after 5 years). Then I watched it again yesterday just for Drew & Jake interactions, wanted to see their rights and wrongs

I'm mostly on Drew's side even if he was the bully one, I mean it's understable that Jake wanted to be in the club and was afraid that he will lose his friends (and maybe get bullied by them) that he knew for 3 years. BUT I'm honestly mad at Jake that he didn't tell his best friend that his girlfriend is cheating on him. He also ignored the messages Drew was sending or even their group chat. If it comes to Drew: he didn't want to loose Jake and even if his actions weren't perfect (maybe toxic some ppl would say), he had good intetions. At least for Jake because he really thought they are using him (I kinda think Drew could have been in situation like this)

While watching their final fight, I felt like watching break up: Drew's broken voice especially on "freak" part, dull eyes, I mean everyone even disappeared after like it was only their moment. Drew lost the person he didn't want to loose, and he obv had a crush on him too. And then Jake after losing his friends, he is just thinking about club like the other ones were nothing. I know Jake misses them, even on stage he thought he saw these three. But why does he gave up on them so easily - I kinda understand him sometimes but I also don't

I saw your headcanon post and Drew begin biromantic is just perfect and I love it cause it fits him perfectly and also me too and it just made me love him even more and I totally agree and it is canon end of discussion

I kinda agree about Jake begin straight but he could also have been bi (that also has no idea about most of the orientations anyway) and not knowing this because he only accepts his girl crushes (boys are only "I was just embrassed" or "everyone like complements alr" I won't forget this mini small blush when Henry wanted to watch anime with you)

Even if their fight was messed up it wasn't that bad yet. I mean: Jake was in worse terms with the club after the audio because of what he said. But they made up and were even closer later. Some scenes *cough* break up *cough* made me ship Jake and Drew and even if Jake was kinda toxic, he didn't mean it and I really want him to try better and fight for their friendship

I love juffering and druffering but I also really hope that it won't separate these two permanently (Drew deserves better but I know Jake can be better, he just need to work on this)

First: Yes, I loved the Drakeup but I can definetly agree that Jake seemed to move on too quickly. And I think it’s implied he’s trying to mask, but honestly I think this is just a flaw in the overall story-writing. As much as I love TMF, it definitely leans more towards telling than showing, and this problem is especially apparent with Jake. We’re told Jake cares about the Jomies, but we never see it. What we see is Jake running off to the Music Club, ghosting his friends, lying to them, and hiding the fact his best-friend’s girlfriend is cheating on him. So that’s probably why it felt so quick. And I wish we had more scenes of Jake with the Jomies, showing that he actually does care about them. I wish we had at least one other moment of him feeling upset about losing his friends. Hopefully this’ll be explored more in S2, and I’m praying we get more showing and less telling in the future.😭

Second, YESSS I’M SO GLAD U AGREE WITH MY DREW HEADCANON HIS BIROMANTIC VIBES ARE CRAZYYYY but also I totally understand what you mean about Jake. To be honest, I’ve seen so many different interpretations of Jake regarding both his sexuality and gender, and honestly all of it makes a lot of sense. That’s something I love about Jake’s character from a writing standpoint: there’s just so much room for interpretation. I may see him as a clueless straight guy, but I’ve seen people headcanon him as bi, transmasc or genderfluid. We’re all just having fun coming up with our own little ideas for him and personally I think that’s beautiful.

And finally, OMG IF ROSY LEAVES DREW AND JAKE SEPERATED I WILL RIOT. But thankfully, I highly doubt this’ll happen. With how much Rosy’s been hyping up Drew’s character, there is no way their fight won’t at least be acknowledged. And as much as I’m hoping for Drew redemption, I also wouldn’t mind if we got a Drew villain arc either. Either way I’m super hyped!

And I also feel like Drew’s characters been way too built up to just mot be explored. Like they don’t even need to make up. I just want them to acknowledge what happened and their friendship. If they were just done the rest of the series that’d be such a sour note to end on. I’m so fucking excited for season 2 I’m praying for Drew redemption but if Drew decides to have a villian arc I’m certainly not gonna complain. I’m just overall hyped lmao.

Found this cool drawing i made, possibly a concept of demon lupin before i made his actual design.

orrr it could just be a cool outfit i wanted to draw on him. either way it made me want to also share my other concepts of dem lup and ang goe and explain my design

i knew the first one wasnt gonna be final obvs because i was kinda thinking on dem lup's initial role. when i landed on him being kinda the prince of the underworld and deciding he aint for that i wanted to show through his outfit that he's carefree and chill but also has a rich kid vibe lol

seeing the lupin's canon design already sorta shows it I didn't really change much of it in the end. the punkish? outfit above was just too extra for him imo

before i wanna show the design i landed on I also wanna mention this drawing since this was the drawing that started the au in the first place. i casually drew this in class along with angel goemon, and lupin was the only one that ended up getting redrawn on digital.

this was very rough and rushed since I didn't really think this au was really gonna be serious and stuff (still isn't but im sorta invested in developing it in my head now)

one thing youll notice is that lupin's horns are red for most of these drawings and also much longer. while this is fine i decided to change it to stubby white horns later on for a more symbolic reason.

Lupin's personality is this au is leaning more on cagli lupin with some roughness to it. he's deep down a kindhearted character. bros totally fucking chill he's really not evil at all. but given how he's raised in a pretty fucked up and evil place he still behaves a bit like a rat

to show that behind that scary and evil exterior, his horns are white to show his purity and kindness. they're also stubby to show his lack of aggression

demon's horns in this au also show their inherent mental and physical health in a way. if they're long and sharp they are healthy, if it's the opposite they're probably not doing so well. I'll let you guys figure out what this could mean for lupin.

the main reason why that first reference above was not kept was because of how bad the outfit for goemon was, i was honestly embarrassed at myself even then for not figuring out something better and i really struggled to make the colors work LMAO

eventually as i developed his personality and beliefs, the more this got easier for me and i finally arrived at the design you see now.

i think you can tell at this point that i really really love using colors to convey symbolism throughout my designs.

for this au it is primarily white and black. white represents what you typically think of the angel, a purehearted being. and black is the impure and demonic color, it represents the ugly side of things. even then black does not represent evil or should be interpretted as a sign that the character is bad.

this is especially with goemon. the outfit you see above is the one he adorns after he has accepted his demon half.

before this his outfit would have been completely white, to show the repression of the trait that he felt hatred and disgust towards because he has been taught that it was dirty and ugly. lupin would end up helping him realize that it is not the case and he should accept the way he is.

but yeah anyways this design is way better lmao. also note that i also changed his wings to be half-bird half-bat, so this means he would not be able to fly during the beginning because he wants to conceal his demon side. it is not only ruining him mentally but also physically.

anyways, since ive explained lupin's personality i should also explain what I've changed for goemon too. i think it's best to say that its a combination of anime and manga goe, since he is a bit more serious, stubborn, and misguided, but still has the gentle and graceful mannerisms of manga goe. he's also a bit sassier too, he counters and compliments lupin's carefreeness

anyways this is like totally not organized at all lol, I just wanted to ramble on about these designs since I've put a lotta thought into it and wanted to share it given the nice feedback i got on the reference post. (if you haven't seen it, check it out!)

Ooooh I love that yes their dynamic is very push and pull and lol literally I was having this thought about them whilst I was driving to work this morning but they literally have their hooks in each other!!!

And it’s funny because obvs from Pete’s side he’s bewildered by this because he was never trying to hook Vegas at all!! That was never his intention- there was no intention for that whatsoever. But meanwhile you have Vegas who fucked around with no intention beyond cruelty and then literally found out there are better things than that and now wants his hooks buried in Pete so deeply that others would be able to tell JUST by looking at him that he belongs with Vegas. For them first out it’s wildly about instinct and then it slowly shifts into intention where Vegas wants this to be everything and Pete just wants to explore this desire and stare into the dark place and follow it through without flinching or running away. They both got on the ride at different times but now neither of them have any plans of getting off!! Whether consciously or not.

Yes you’re so right they could absolutely not separate now without being wounded by it (in slightly different ways but wounded all the same)

Yesssss that moment is going to be very crucial for Pete finally making the subconscious conscious in a way that he’s been otherwise avoiding. Like that situation forces him to bring his feelings (beyond the physical) to the forefront of their relationship and finally acknowledge that it has a real place there- even though we all know he’s been subconsciously acting on those feelings for a long while now. That moment is Pete finally looking in the mirror and realising exactly what he doesn’t want (with the stranger) and by default why that means he only wants it with Vegas instead.

It’s a very big moment for Pete because even though he is more shy/ reserved that moment will make it impossible for him to deny his feelings in any believable way anymore. And we all know he’s had that escape hatch sitting there ready for a while now in case he ever needed to back out and deny everything and protect himself. But Pete finally taking that step means he’s locking the escape hatch so if he ever did want to end things he won’t be able to fall back on a ‘denial of feelings’ excuse. He’s really placing his faith in Vegas there and even though he’s annoyed by the reality of the situation- still measuring it as a loss and win game, man does Vegas absolutely come in and deliver everything he’s asking for ;) no wonder they half destroy the bathroom stall by the time they’re finished with each other lmao

Every time a new member is joining the manor, the entire population gets very lively

There are people chattering excitedly, wondering if they'll be friends with the new person

There's other's grumbling about how there's too many people as is

The list goes on

And once said person finally arrives, huge "meetings" (they're closer to parties, actually) are held to welcome the new memeber

But when word gets around that it's a child joining, the vibe is a little more...sad

A lot of the creeps come from bad childhood, so when they hear that the situation is so dire that they couldn't just wait until they're 18, it really just tugs at some heart strings

When this happens, the chatter is softer and kinder, and the "meetings" are not as big, only really including Slender, a few of the creeps that are good with kids, and the other kids

And of course, vegan friendly pizza and juice <33

BEN, being the shit demon he is, does not ever get invited to these smaller meetings

The kids of the manor don't really like him all that much (except for sally, but she likes everybody), and he doesn't like them

So when you toddle over to where he and heff are hanging out at on the second floor, he gets kind of anxious

He's playing mario 64, so thats good, but he and jeff tend to have pretty foul mouths and they are both nicotine addicts

He just doesn't wanna do anything that could bring up trauma for you

But instead, you decide to crawl up onto the couch between the two, looking up at BEN and asking if you can play

Short answer: My top 4 drivers are Charles Leclerc, Max Verstappen, Oscar Piastri and George Russell in that particular order and the rest of them are not fixed and are interchangeable with each other!

and my favourite team is Ferrari but i think you must have gathered that from my pinned post.( I will be biased be warned )(i also support Williams!!)(yes im always suffering thanks for asking)

and my take on RPF you ask? my answer is yeah sure why not. (you might catch me posting about lestappen!)(just memes i lack the cognitive function required to write)(also emphasis on the big F in rpf, I don't think all of them are actually in love with each other obv)(I just like parallels okay.)

well first of all i want you to know that i don't hate any drivers so don't come up to me saying that you hate XYZ cause they have upset you or your driver. i won't like that. keep your hatred to yourself and we'll be fine <3 i will only hate them if they have committed heinous crimes in their personal lives(for example nikita mazepin f that guy).

and if I'm trash-talking a driver or if you think I'm trash-talking a driver (which I don't do) it's probably cause I'm frustrated with them atm, come morning I will forget about it because it does not affect my life and it should not affect yours either

LOL I warned you about this like I get complaints but no I'm very polite i promise no one has ever said a bad thing about me.

4. George Russell

(British individual(derogatory), king of radio messages (oh crikey), has an evil aura which is probably why he gets along with Nando, makes amazing powerpoints(facts!!), head of the gdpa and he takes it V.E.R.Y seriously probably the admin to the f1 driver group chat, part-time driver part-time strategist, he's a better driver than people give him credit for unpopular opinion but I think he can be a wdc or least a close wdc contender if given the right car I think if he was in lando's car in 2024 he probably would have taken the fight to max idk about winning but he's for sure no easy breeze, f3 and f2 wdc too, very memefiable or wotever the word is) ( T pose)(t.a.l.l.)(one sweaty boi)(a very very good qualifier i swear you guys are sleeping on this guy)

5. Lewis Hamilton

(7-time world champion, goat behaviour, was friends with P Diddy, rich cool wine aunt, #blessed, fashionista, Hammertime, Fernando Alonso's nightmare gremlin, don't ever mention 2016 in front of him, is haunted by Nico Rosberg, is neighbours with Nico Rosberg, will avoid Greece for the rest of his life, had a very public divorce, thus vegan, Silverstone 2008 you will always be famous, this Barbie is an f1 driver, still we rise guys, Toto Wolff and David Croft will sacrifice their bloodline for him, certified Micheal Massi hater, certified Bottas lover, we love him and Seb being the activists on the grid, this is getting manipulated man, did not survive Abu Dhabi 2021, did not survive Abu Dhabi 2016, has had caps thrown at him, Left family for Italian mafia, uncle I beg you please get your qualifying form back pls pls, is embarrassed by those toxic #teamlh and you cannot convince me otherwise, has let 2 baddies named Nico slip from him, ISS THAT GLOCK???, Bono my tyres are gone)

6. Carlos Sainz

(Spanish chilli, smooth operator, dog lover, says bye to his racing career after 2024( no wait let me tell you something let me finish let m- *shot*), certified zoning out( Carlos has been called to the stewards), Lewis Hamilton hater prolly, certified Fred vassuer hater, poor guy really he leaves whenever a team is getting good like come on, has had very good teammates and has been friends with them, in 2025 will become the third person in history to have raced for Ferrari, McLaren and Williams, I feel like he lacks a bit of aggressiveness in his racing like he operates smoothly and intelligently sure but yk you should have a bite yk )(whenever he finds this said bite and aggressiveness it's usually against his teammate I'm observing you Carlos I'm noticing)( loves Lando Norris, golf master but humble about it, Maria Karey, one of the mature drivers on the grid, excellent at all sports, James aeiou has a crush on him, Lana del Ray coded, him and max were torro rosso nepo babies).

7. Lando Norris

(twitch streamer first f1 driver second, McLaren boy, hates papaya rules, has been multi21nd, mental health has been made very public by his own goddamn team, party-boy and DJ, fakes knowing how to play COD and Fortnite, very consistent racing good for him, terrified of first laps and poles, best friends with last laps and fastest laps(let's go Lando), shit at golf and geography but it's okay he makes up for it by being funny, probably misses being Carlos's teammate, but like Carlos lacks a bit of aggressiveness that is required, McLaren PR's nightmare gremlin, opposite of polite cat, has somehow managed to anger every fanbase and his car is the sole reason for the unification of RedBull, Ferrari and Mercedes, has been dealing with the wrath of Australia since 2021, at the end of the day just a curly haired guy ).

8. Fernando Alonso

(Spanish devil , Disney villain ahh character, 2005 and 2006 world champ, is looking for his 33rd win, Michael Schumacher's nightmare gremlin, grumpy old man first f1 driver second, lance lover(rare), Lawrence stroll's sugar baby, fast, prime Alonso I am scared of you, goat behaviour, holds a special grudge against McLaren and Lewis Hamilton(Alonso is sick of his ass), no more radio for the rest of the race, believes in karma, has dated Taylor swift apparently but is in love with Mark Webber( Jenson button is also somewhere in there), is known as El padre and has an el plan(everyone should be afraid), racecraft out of this world, 2005 Suzuka you will always be famous, all de time you have to leave da space, Alonso radio my love, aggressive but good racing the likes of which I have never seen and probably never will, what do mean by "I knew he'd brake earlier because he has 2 kids and a wife at home" like who says that what what??, worse career decisions than Ferrari strategies, bad luck so much bad luck, so chaotic so much chaos, has adopted Oscar and has plotted the downfall of alpine with him, Flavio haunts him, do not bring up Singapore 2008 in front of him especially not if Felipe Massa is present there, has driven the 2014 Ferrari and has not recovered from it, has outlasted Renault in formula one (wild), give Fernando Alonso 5 more points and he would be a 5 time wdc (even more wild), bye bye I'm still the bad guy)

Not acknowledging kmag's great defending is a crime, he is here to cause menace no matter how many penalty points he gains or races he's banned from he's really coming for Ocon's penalty points honour tbh. Shame really that this is his last season... just when things got interesting *sigh* (off the track he's a chill girldad) (hulk and kmag had an enemies-to-lovers story arc and I think that's beautiful)(kmag you legend)

(aka New Zealand's revenge on Australia) (he did a fantastic job in 2023 and has been doing a fantastic job in 2024) (his idol is Lighting McQueen.....so now that everybody knows that he's Genz you can probably understand why he is beefing with Nando and Checo(boomers) (I think he drives aggressively but not as smoothly he is yet to find a balance it looks like but hey it's working out for him no?)(off the track he's quite an expressive person but I don't think we have seen much of his personality he's friendly for sure and I mean he's a cars fan like come on he's a Pixar kid) (idk something about him says yeah I'm Genz but I still go on Facebook) (not that it's bad not saying the vibes are bad just Liam show more personality).

You see i view lance as an outlier, cause i know he's a great person, lovable, fun to be around, you can tell, look at the secret santa videos you can tell just from that, he's got that typical canadian aura, and although I made fun of him saying "lance lover(rare)" it's not actually rare, most of the drivers love lance the person. hell I love lance the person. I just don't understand lance the driver cause sometimes he's good fantastic even but the other times from what I see he does somethings that don't sit right with me. 3.5 spoilers

ok, so i’ve thought somewhat about how much of existing kaeya’s lore hoyo would be retconning by making him not know he’s from abyss order bloodline and i think the most logical way i can reconcile all of the existing in game drops and the 3.5 dialogue is that kaeya knew he was from khaenriah, but was raised to believe Alberich clan are the regents of khaenriah, without being told of the abyss order connection. like i don’t think they’re retconning him knowing anything at all

bc like i can understand that things change in long-term projects, so if it was only the starting game lore, it’d be one thing. but hidden strife didn’t happen that long ago and based on the hidden strife alone kaeya’s dad called Alberich bloodline “regents of khaenriah” and casually referred to king Irmin, which implies Kaeya had at least basic grasp of khaenriah’s history and politics. this also tracks with his voice lines about Fischl and being descendant of lost royalty. so like, i believe he still Knows Shit and much more than he lets on, but maybe not very systematically.

but also now that I think about it, if I was dad!Alberich and i was preparing my son to plant him in Mond’s family, I would probs not tell him “hey sweetie, you and daddy are from the long proud line of the founders of the Evil Order. Yeah, you know, the Evil Order, which does Terrible Things, that’s us!” and instead present yourself as the noble regents, who picked up the pieces after royals fucked the country up, which like based on what we’ve seen of Chlothar, they’d probably sincerely see like this. this lets Alberichs to claim Khaenriah as both their legacy and responsibility, and it’s better to tell small kid he has a duty to his country, for which he is the last hope, instead of being like “cutiepie, one day when you grow up, you will be an important part of the Nefarious Crochet of Destiny, which our Evil Order has been planning for generations”

that would explain how he didn’t know about the abyss connection, but still picked up enough of lore and hints, which explains him referencing “sinners” in his voiceline about khaenriah frex. like after what we’ve learned in this archon quest, alberichs probably used “sinners” a lot in reference to themselves and khaenriah, so kaeya could catch a lot of religious shit and ideology, without knowing it’s connected to abyss order, bc like. this whole time we didn’t know shit fuck about sinner too! even Dain didn’t know about it and he was abyss sibling’s boyfriend. it’s a pretty well-hidden shit.

like kaeya obv never was supposed to know what his “mission” was, since even old mona’s voice line says “he thinks he made a clean break with the past”. which would very well lead to his state of anxiety, where he knew he’s planted in mond with *some* purpose, not knowing what that purpose it is and having to keep a secret that he was planted here strategically, but also since he was a smart kid who picked up enough to get Bad Vibes, feel preemptively guilty that MAYBE he’s a living timebomb which will be used against the country he grew to love, including his adopted family, but also not being able to tell so to the said adopted family bc he was raised to believe he has duty to his homeland as it’s last hope. like i think this uncertainty checks out better with his characterization from the start than being certain you’re from the Evil Order the whole time.

Sinner: is at the hotel redeeming n is miserable, yes that is a skirt i saw that idea in 2 fics n it havent leave my mind once, it would be the closest thing he got to a robe, was thinking bout like a garderner apron but it look off so leather jacket it is. Off-coloured wings or no wings? On one hand having him curl up crying but unable to wrap himself in the wings is a delightfully painful ass image i would love to use but i also feel like without the wings it feel like its missing smth (cause technically it is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) maybe really small wings??? like enough to lift him off ground but not enough to fly around n be use as a blanky how r we feeling bout that hmmm.
