#went to a club (properly) for the first time with a friend his wife and a workmate of his who was going through a rough time with her bf#we hit it off really well and even danced together for a bit while my friend and his wife did cringe relationship stuff (affectionate)#realised about halfway through the night i stsrted crushing on her#figured “oh well nothing new there shes in a relationship so ill get over it eventually”#got out around half 2 and said our goodbyes before getting a taxi home#tell my frinds wife about my situation the following day#wasnt going to say anything but my therapist said its a good thing to talk about my feelings to my friends#she informs me that she (friends workmate) broke up with her boyfriend that night when they got home#now im stuck in limbo of:#obviously im not gonna swoop in and shoot my shot when shes /just/ broken up with her boyfriend#and#why am i even entertaining the thought of dsting her#shes well out of my league and probably doesn't want a guy who's never been in a relationship (not since school (10+ years) anyway)#ugh#fuck my stupid baka life#wish i could just turn everything off
