I was going to wait until I had found videos uploaded for each of these routines, but I am impatient so I’m just going to post this now and maybe add links as I find them. 

disclaimer: these are just my personal picks and I was trying to keep the list short! there were certainly some other great skates!! I also clearly have more for the solo events, oops. these are also in no real order!

Men: Yuzuru Hanyu (SP and FS), Shoma Uno (FS), Nathan Chen (FS only. If you want to watch his SP, watch a video from a different competition), Javier Fernandez (SP and FS), Adam Rippon (SP)

Ladies: Satoko Miyahara (SP and FS), Dabin Choi (SP and FS), Karen Chen (SP), Evgenia Medvedeva (FS), Mirai Nagasu (FS from the team event, SP),  Kaori Sakamoto (FS, although her SP is a good example of how to backload a program and have it still be pretty interesting to watch)

Pairs: Sui/Han (SP and FS), Savchenko/Massot (FS), James/Cipres (SP and FS)

Ice Dance: Shibutani/Shibtani (FS), Virtue/Moir (FS), Papadakis/Cizeron (FS)

@obsessionfull Yes! I read the Anne books over and over growing up. They're just the best and i think the show really nails the spirit of it. And for the most part it is very, very true to them.

Oh shit what’s happening

Apple deleted the app from the app store because Tumblr has been conquered by the porn bots, and apparently the bot that Tumblr set loose to reign in the porn bots started targeting popular user blogs instead. Looks like a whole mess and given that I don’t think Tumblr’s ever turned a profit, I’d be surprised if whoever owns it now (is it still Yahoo?) kept pumping money into fixing it rather than just cutting their losses.

Tranquil mages in DA:O don’t have them -- I don’t think Owain in Kinloch Hold had one either. But I think it’s canon that all Tranquil are supposed to have them, it just wasn’t something they included in the designs in DA:O at the time (like how the reason they didn’t have Sten have horns was technically because they couldn’t make it work right with the helmets in the game, so instead they just added lore that some qunari don’t have horns). If they did a remake of DA:O at some point, I’m guessing they’d have the Tranquil have sunburst brands. At least, that’s my guess.
