lots of confused feelings rn - i’m not good at goodbyes, especially to fictional characters. but it was inevitable that every beginning has an end and i’m more than glad that so many people were able to get involved one more time and have some fun solving this horror, as well as being able to see people they haven’t seen in a while, or even met.

for me, the qsmp has introduced me to new content creators whose content i now adore, speaking languages i may have not picked up before (heck i’ve dreamed in portugese!) as well as allowed me to be a part of and meet wonderful communities who speak all different languages, it’s something i’ll carry in my heart forever. 💓

I’ve been inspired to make a little letter to qsmpblr cuz y’all are the best :D

My first post was my pinned post almost a year ago(HOLY SHIT ALREADY) and honestly I don’t know why I decided to make a tumblr but I’m soooo glad I did. I’ve been watching qsmp since the start but I only ever watched vods until late 2023 after purgatory. Qsmpblr is such an amazing community and I don’t think I would be the silly hyperfixated guy I am today without y’all. NOT TO MENTION MY FUCKING LOVE AND APPRECIATION FOR BRASILL LOVE YALL🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷

To Dapper and Pomme

As someone who was simply a watcher of the QSMP, to someone who spent hours engaged in your world, I want to thank you both for the work you did.

The eggs were the reason I started watching the QSMP. To this day, I still can recognize all the early cries from the nightmares that happened when the eggs died, and still cry at them.

Though I have been much less active recently, and probably will remain as such, I want to just say thank you if you ever stumble upon my silly little blog. Thank you for the amazing work you did, the characters you played, the work and time you put into them with every other egg admin.

As a fellow roleplayer, as someone who admired your work and still does, I will take this "see you later" to mean everything. To see you later, the characters you play, as we both hide behind this veil of the internet. I hope you two only have the best and get the chance to spend time with the people you've met, as in the end this server did it's job of breaking these boundaries set by languages.

i do prefer when the qsmp streams are done live like this because like just now with qtubbo where he was able to spy on the conversation and actually interact with that lore without it being metagaming ya know? opens more possibilities for the players to learn about stuff going on

because now qtubbo learned from that was richas mentioned something about egg island to elena. saw them exchange books. then understood the final sign saying obrigado to elena. and the best part about the language barrier here is that he couldnt understand all of richas signs. just the egg island part so he saw some very important information while also not fully realizing it

I am not the same person I was a year ago.

I wanna thank the QSMP for the massive positive impact it has had on not only my life and how I see the world, but how it has impacted the gaming and streaming spheres as a whole.

I have never participated in such a crazy venture and the lessons I have learned I will carry with me always.

The fandom, though not perfect (as no fandom is), has been such a source of joy (and extreme emotional trauma thanks to the talents of the animators, theorists, fanfic writers and fanartists. You know who you are.). Thanks to everyone who made this fandom so vibrant and alive.

I can't wait to see what each member of the (ex) islanders do next in their creative endeavours, especially my main man Quackity. Well done Big Q, what a crazy ride.

I've been watching qsmp and it's amazing how much Spanish is coming back to me, I end up forgetting to put subtitles on and still usually know what's being said! I even know some basic words in Portuguese now too, like "fofo" and "obrigado" and "Richas bota o armadura". I'm having a ROUGH time with following French tho so thank fuck for the live translator.

It's awesome to watch actual adults communicate in multiple languages and work together and be friends and make such a cool riveting story!!!

okay qsmp sappy time for me (and all my cc pictures under the cut)

I think today really showed me just how much the QSMP means to me,, I felt like myself for the first time in months because I found people who were so accepting and people who liked the same things as me,, and then meeting all these creators who have made so much impact on me was actually unreal

I think my moment of realization was meeting Quackity. Without me saying anything, he immediately complimented my costume and I had these bracelets I’d been giving to all the QSMP CCs I could find, and I asked him to give the rest to the creators I hadn’t seen. And he said yes! And I think being acknowledged for my adoration of this project by the creator himself was absolutely life changing

So… obrigado, mucho gracias, merci beaucoup, and thank you QSMP!!!

Im so so so grateful that I have gotten to be a part of the qsmp community for this year and met so many amazing and wonderful people. This year has had some ups and downs but this server will always be a love of mine. I’ve got to watch so many creators that I’d never even heard of before and found some new favorites!!! I’ve learned new languages and cultures through this server that I don’t think I would’ve ever found if I want apart of this amazing king community

Even though lately it’s been kinda rough, I’m so incredibly grateful for my qsmp friends and the fun memories. This has genuinely been the best year of my life and I hope that it continues just as strong💕💕💕
