LIGHT OF LIFE 574
John 1:4
DIVINE ORDER 139: WORKING ORDER 34
Joh 15:26 And when the Comforter has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH WHO PROCEEDS FROM THE FATHER, HE SHALL TESTIFY OF ME. MKJV
THE HOLY GHOST IS WORKING 24 - HIS POWER TO RAISE THE DEAD 3
Following from our last lesson’s final statement, we see that the Pharisees were skeptical, yet fearfully anticipating the possibility of Jesus’ prediction of His Resurrection coming true, especially having seen His Power and authority, in deeds and words.
Mat 27:65-66 “I will send soldiers to guard the tomb,” Pilate replied. “Go with them and make the tomb as secure as possible.” SO THEY LEFT AND SEALED THE STONE, AND PILATE’S SOLDIERS SECURED THE TOMB. TPT
I hope you know, beloved, that there was not merely a stone rolled to cover the Tomb of Jesus but the stone itself was also SEALED, then soldiers posted to guard it all through.
But why would the authorities have been concerned about the Body of Jesus after it had been released to His Disciples by an official order from the Pilate earlier?
Mat 27:57-59 That evening a rich disciple named Joseph from the town of Arimathea went and asked for Jesus' body. PILATE GAVE ORDERS FOR IT TO BE GIVEN TO JOSEPH, who took the body and wrapped it in a clean linen cloth. CEV
Now, this man Joseph had indeed rolled a stone to cover the Tomb but not “secured” it.
Mat 27:60 And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed. KJV
I presume, beloved, that “securing” the Tomb by the Sanhedrin implied they cemented it or wedged it with other stones or heavy things.
I see now that God Himself moved them to do all these, just to further authenticate the profundity of His Great Power, by establishing witnesses of the Resurrection of His Son Jesus.
Even though they lied about it, they saw it happen and must admit to it on judgment day.
2Pe 1:16 We told you about the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. We told you about his coming. The things we told you were not just clever stories that people invented. No, WE SAW THE GREATNESS OF JESUS WITH OUR OWN EYES. ERV
Not only the Apostles but all His enemies and their appointed forces, saw His greatness and Power.
Jesus’ authority mesmerized everyone who comes in contact with Him.
Joh 7:45-47 When the temple guards returned, the chief priests and Pharisees asked them, "Why didn't you bring Jesus?" THE TEMPLE GUARDS ANSWERED, "NO HUMAN HAS EVER SPOKEN LIKE THIS MAN." The Pharisees asked the temple guards, "HAVE YOU BEEN DECEIVED TOO? GW
So, the impression the Holy Spirit makes of His Resurrection is undeniable and anchored on the potency of His authority from back then till now.
But besides the actual Resurrection of our Lord Jesus, the Holy Ghost still works to make the impressions in hearts of believers.
Gal 3:1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, BEFORE WHOSE EYES JESUS CHRIST HATH BEEN EVIDENTLY SET FORTH, CRUCIFIED AMONG YOU? KJV
How could Jesus, who had died and resurrected many years before this letter, had been “evidently set forth and crucified amongst” the Galatians?
It is the manifest working Power of the Spirit in the hearts of men as they listen and absorb the Gospel by faith.
Gal 3:2 Give me an answer to this one question, DID THE SPIRIT COME TO YOU THROUGH THE WORKS OF THE LAW, OR BY THE HEARING OF FAITH? BBE
For all those of us who were not around 2000yrs ago, God has arranged by the Holy Spirit, a “Revelation” of the reality of His death and Resurrection by faith in our hearts.
This is the Divine tool that produces penitence within the souls of men.
Zec 12:10 "I will fill the descendants of David and the other people of Jerusalem with the spirit of mercy and the spirit of prayer. They will look at the one whom they stabbed to death, and they will mourn for him like those who mourn for an only child. They will mourn bitterly, like those who have lost their first-born son. GNB
As an integral part of the Gospel ministration, every man coming to Christ has his conviction premised on the inner witness and view of the death and resurrection of Jesus.
Act 2:36-37 Therefore LET ALL THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL KNOW ASSUREDLY that God made this same Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ. AND HEARING THIS, THEY WERE STABBED IN THE HEART, and said to Peter and to the other apostles, Men, brothers, what shall we do? MKJV
May the convictions of the Death & Resurrection of Christ never leave your soul, IN JESUS NAME.
See you on Monday, as we proceed with this interesting Subtopic.

Quiet Time 2/29
What am I feeling today?
I feel rather relaxed and peaceful. I got to sleep in a bit and I plan on getting a lot of work done today. I just have one more big busy day ahead of me tomorrow and then I’m free for a week. So overall, I’m feeling pretty good😁
Women’s Midweek: What Happened to Miss Independent? (Part 1/3)
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month we have women’s midweek at our church where all the women come together and we get a mini lesson and then get time to fellowship with each other too!
Psalms 66:1-4 NIV
“Shout for joy to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious. Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies cringe before you. All the earth bows down to you; they sing praise to you, they sing the praises of your name.””
Stating that the whole entire earth bows down to Him and sing His praises! Let’s analyze though, on a scale of 1-10, where would we place ourselves, in comparison to this scripture, of how we praise Him? If you’re in the lower numbers, spend deeper, meaningful time with God. Pray to Him about it, ask for your heart to be soft and joyous!
I would say I’m around a 7 on this scale. I thank God every chance I get, whenever something good happens it’s the thought of how great God is! But I don’t feel that I always praise Him properly. That He deserves more from me, I’ll think of how to improve that.
Matthew 6:25-34
““Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
God knows what we need and He will provide it for us so long as we obey His condition in verse 33: But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. I can attest that when you obey this, He really does give you all you need and sometimes more. The Lord is so generous when you put Him first. That is not to say that you’ll always get what you want though, He gives what is beneficial to you and your walk with Him. Anything you get that pulls you away from your relationship with God is not from Him.
What’s the definition of “Independence”?
Merriam-Webster gives a multiple:
not dependent, not subject to control by others
not requiring or relying on something else
not looking to others for one's opinions or for guidance in conduct
not requiring or relying on others (as for care or livelihood)
showing a desire for freedom
In the Greek, the word χωρις (choris) means by itself, separately; without, besides, apart from, independent from
Further, the word independent shows up in the NIV Bible once:
1 Corinthians 11:11
“Nevertheless, in the Lord woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman.”
We’re not meant to be independent of each other, we need each other in our lives.
1) LOWER YOUR DEFENSES
What do we look to from our past that justifies our independence? I think for me, it was necessity, I had to grow up quick. I have a disabled father and he was the one who would stay at home with us while my mom was at work. Since he couldn’t do much for himself, once my brother and I reached the age where we could be helpful, that’s what we did. We did stuff for him and in turn had to do that for ourselves since he wasn’t able to. I’m not bitter at him for it, it was out of his control and my parents tried their best, but sometimes I miss having just been a kid. As I got older though, it did stem from some hurt - I was a lonely child and had a very hard time making friends so it was just easier for me to operate on my own and also avoid getting hurt.
With independence, when people approach us, we can feel attacked because at one point we were and we’re now unable to distinguish.
What are reasons we can struggle with independence?
fear of being abandoned
fear of being rejected
fear of trusting people
In all these reasons, being independent “protects” us
Practical:
Identify and write down experiences from your life that have made you feel hurt, abandoned, rejected, etc. and pray to God over it and to help you trust Him
I love to read and I always wanted to share cool things from what I read, pretty every time no one wanted to listen to me and shunned me off and that hurt, so I kept to myself when I read.
For the past five or so years, my father keep talking about how he was gonna leave. I don’t like to be abandoned, it affects me very much. With my father talking this way, I projected it on to God. I had believed He abandoned me too but I learned that I cannot compare my physical father to my spiritual one. To further this, about three months after I got baptized, he left. I took it very hard emotionally and spent a lot of time in prayer and the word for comfort. My father eventually had to come back because his health took a sharp decline and we’re the ones who care for him. I think he has realized the importance of his family now and will not try to leave again.
With rejection, that can come from a lot of places. Multiple times coming up to people to start conversations and being shunned. Or being in a group and no one acknowledges you. Or speaking and seeing that no one is paying attention. Or realizing that whoever you’re with doesn’t want to be with you. All of those can just pile and pile on and it leads to a lot of hurt.
But even with all this pain, God still loves me. God still knows what’s best for me. God’s plan is still perfect. I will inevitably still go through pain, but I know I have God by my side and there’s nothing I can’t face when he’s with me. I don’t need to be independent, I don’t have to do everything on my own. He’s here and has given me a spiritual family too.♥️

LESSON 66 SUMMARY & ANALYSIS, PART 2
There’s not a lot, but there’s some interesting bits.
Lucifer’s Unusual Niceness
This seems to have popped up again.
It’s been established that Lucifer is prickly when it comes to his time in the Celestial Realm: Diavolo opines that he never tells him anything about it, he brushes Simeon off in text messages, he insists he doesn’t remember anything to Beelzebub in S3, and he tells us he doesn’t have many fond memories of the place in Angelic Demons. And yet...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He has no problem with talking about the good ol’ days with Raphael. He does this in their devilgram, too. It’s a very strange and obvious juxtaposition against how he is with everyone else regarding the Celestial Realm. Mind you, it helps that he’s referring to an embarrassing moment for Raphael and not himself, but even if you remark on how close the two are he doesn’t even blink or deny it. It’s Raph who seems confused lol.
What does this mean? I have no idea. My guess is their relationship was much more cordial than S3 suggested, or Lucifer is trying to bond with Raphael as a way to help Simeon. I’m not sure how it helps Simeon, but he may know something we’re missing.
Angel Abilities
We got some insight in what angels are typically capable of. Previously, only Luke used his "blessing", and it's still very vague. But --
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
-- It's implied that angel magic is very effective against monsters, and Simeon normally shouldn't have any issue protecting himself against a juiced up chimera. Mammon himself is probably familiar with these abilities, being a former ex-angel and all.
We learn that Raphael has a spell that literally rains down (possibly holy?) spears and it seems he can intuitively sense what poke'mon types monsters are weak to. Beginning to wonder if he was the military strategist for the Celestial Realm (which could explain why Lucifer may have high regard for him, being a chessmaster himself).
Will this be significant in how things unfold with Simeon? Find out next episode. Or in the next after that.

Lesson 66
Lesson 66 = squeal!
*Spoilers* below:
Ok, so I loved this lesson, it’s been a little while since I was *really* into a full lesson. It made me laugh, it made me cringe, it made me worry for Simeon - and all the Solomon praised heaped upon MC? Swoon. I also am liking Raphael (he seems sweet) and Thirteen’s (I swear Solomon antagonizes her on purpose) personalities a lot more (Mephisto is still iffy in my book). I was also so proud of Mammon for once, before he inevitably did his Mammon thing. And the side lessons? Made me laugh.
There are other blogs that will provide an in depth look at the lesson so I’m not going to give away the whole story. But these SS made me so happy.

LIGHT OF LIFE 521
John 1:4
DIVINE ORDER 86: God Seekers 15
Gen 4:26 And a son was also born to Seth, whom he named Enosh. AT THAT TIME PEOPLE BEGAN to worship the LORD. NET
The Altar And The Sacrifice 1
Again brethren, we want to take note that the first mention of ALTAR was that of Noah.
Gen 8:20 And NOAH BUILDED AN ALTAR UNTO THE LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and OFFERED BURNT OFFERINGS ON THE ALTAR. KJV
But that couldn’t have been the first Altar built in the Bible because we can make inferences from a cogent factor seen in the Offerings of Cain and Abel much earlier in Time.
Gen 4:3-4 And after a time, CAIN GAVE TO THE LORD AN OFFERING OF THE FRUITS OF THE EARTH. And ABEL GAVE AN OFFERING OF THE YOUNG LAMBS OF HIS FLOCK AND OF THEIR FAT. And the Lord was pleased with Abel's offering; BBE
We can see that if Abel offered Lamb and “Fat”, they must definitely have been burnt offerings sacrificed on an Altar.
Now the question is: was Cain’s “fruits” also offered burnt?
The obvious answer is No!
Let’s just say that Cain’s offering was a “First Fruit” Offering.
Lev 2:12 AN OFFERING OF THE FIRST GRAIN THAT YOU HARVEST each year shall be brought to the LORD, BUT IT IS NOT TO BE BURNED ON THE ALTAR. GNB
So now, we have one son’s offering given plain to God and the other son’s offered as burnt on an Altar. We see that an Altar must definitely have been involved, but why was it not mentioned?
I believe that it is because God wants us to focus on what is presented than on what it is presented on. That is what forms the basis of this lesson today.
Let’s dig in more.
Gen 4:4-5 and Abel also gave an offering to the LORD. He killed the first-born lamb from one of his sheep and gave the LORD the best parts of it. THE LORD WAS PLEASED WITH ABEL AND HIS OFFERING, BUT NOT WITH CAIN AND HIS OFFERING. This made Cain so angry that he could not hide his feelings. CEV
There have been many controversial inputs as to why God accepted Abel but not Cain. Many say it is because Cain brought fruits plainly while Abel chose the best.
Let’s not go far beloved: God was not really looking for Offering but for the quality of their very lives.
God has to find the life of a Man acceptable as sacrifice [first] before considering his offering.
Gen 4:6-7 And Jehovah said to Cain, Why have you angrily glowed? And why did your face fall? IF YOU DO WELL, SHALL YOU NOT BE ACCEPTED? And if you do not do well, sin crouches at the door; and its desire is for you, and you shall rule over it. MKJV
Take note that God didn’t say: “if you DID well…”, but He said: “if you DO well…”. So, his being rejected was not about what he “had” done before then but about how he should steadily and consistently live his life [in Righteousness, Character and integrity] before God.
That is much more important to God that food and meat. God doesn’t eat them anyways.
1Pe 3:3-4 Let your beauty not be external – the braiding of hair and wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes – but the inner person of the heart, the LASTING BEAUTY of a GENTLE AND TRANQUIL SPIRIT, WHICH IS PRECIOUS IN GOD’S SIGHT. NET
If our concept of God’s worship in Church does not transcend wearing fine clothes, giving fat offerings and Tithe, and mere service “in His vineyard”, we are still far from redemption.
Isa 66:2-3 I myself created the whole universe! I AM PLEASED WITH THOSE WHO ARE HUMBLE AND REPENTANT, WHO FEAR ME AND OBEY ME. "The people do as they please. It's all the same to them whether they kill a bull as a sacrifice or sacrifice a human being; whether they sacrifice a lamb or break a dog's neck; whether they present a grain offering or offer pigs' blood; whether they offer incense or pray to an idol. They take pleasure in disgusting ways of worship. GNB
Beloved, this is again how you know that God is same from eternity to eternity and His requirements are not subject to Testaments or Dispensations but to His own Nature.
Rom 12:1 Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? I encourage you to SURRENDER YOURSELVES TO GOD TO BE HIS SACRED, LIVING SACRIFICES. AND LIVE IN HOLINESS, EXPERIENCING ALL THAT DELIGHTS HIS HEART. FOR THIS BECOMES YOUR GENUINE EXPRESSION OF WORSHIP. TPT
Isn’t this what God was telling Cain? “DO well and I will accept you and your offerings”.
May God lovingly accept our lives upon His Holy Altar, IN JESUS NAME.
See you on Wednesday, as we proceed with this Subtopic.

sdfdjf He’s so hot like >.< but I know his flavor isn’t for everyone… more food for us, then
Though tbh… He’s kinda more cute to me than he’s hot? He doesn’t really have too much of a smolder and more of a cozy fireplace vibe y’know? I honestly don’t think he’s as suave as people make him out to be. He’s a hopeless romantic and he can be smooth with a way with words when he wants to (like isn’t it interesting how he’s gone from not having the words to convey how he feels to busting out poems he’s found/written for MC?) but he’s also like… still a bit clumsy and unsure with love sometimes, like you get the feeling he’s still trying his best. Very cute.

LESSON 66 SUMMARY & ANALYSIS, PART 1
This was a fun lesson, though not very flattering for a few characters.
The Story
The lesson starts with our team attempting to eavesdrop on Lucifer's team as they ponder their objective, which requires figuring out a riddle.
Tumblr media
Raphael, being the only one in this group with a brain cell, recalls that it's related to a haiku Simeon once read to him... and wonders why only Lucifer's team gets the riddle. You get two answers to choose from, and ultimately he concludes it's because Lucifer's team is likely to overthink it.
tl;dr: the riddle is about Thirteen's octopus traps. Raphael catches on but Thirteen is slow on the draw.
Lucifer and his team inevitably catches us listening in. Raphael tries to make up an excuse but Thirteen is all like "hell naw, we WERE eavesdropping on you so what" and unleashes the Octopus trap on Solomon. Once the trap ensnares someone, it makes them see hallucinations of whatever they desire the most. It ensnares Mephisto and he dreams about golden demonus, while Lucifer and Solomon seem to resist its effects.
Raphael asks us to bind the transfixed Mephisto via spell. We do so, and Solomon admires our skillz.
Mephisto figures it out they’re supposed to get one of Thirteen’s traps right after we get him. Thirteen  gets offended at everyone misidentifying her traps.
Lucifer undoes our spell and they get right down to business. At Raphael's behest, we run off.
But of course they teleport.
This is a really unfair match up.
Tumblr media
We get to flex our magic skills as we attempt to repel Solomon's magic... all the while he compliments us. Thirteen apparently notices and doesn't take this well for... some reason?
Tumblr media
And attacks us instead.
The attack she unleashes at us puts a giant hole in the side of the school building and Lucifer is none too happy about it, so he jumps in and engages Thirteen. Thirteen is all too happy to participate, but Raphael tries to de-escalate the situation.
Solomon wants to fight us some more aaaaand...
Tumblr media
Mammon interjects! And sounds reasonable. He proposes solving the conflict with a demonopede race, which is the Devildom equivalent of a three-legged race. Lucifer is naturally suspicious.
We agree to the suggestion when Barbatos and Simeon finally start to urge us.
Tumblr media
Of course it was all a scheme. Mammon has tied us together using enchanted rope he got from the Anti-Lucifer League earlier. His team needs the Book of Incantations, which he mistakes the grimoire for (surprise: the grimoire isn't elaborated upon further at all -- it's just a plot macguffin). He keeps gloating while his team, in vain, tries to get him to check to make sure it's the right book. He runs off, leaving the other teams literally tangled up.
We try to use magic to undo the ropes, but apparently the enchantment just reflects whatever magic used on it. Mephisto declares he isn't going to suffer this humilation any further and attempts to run after Mammon while still tied up, setting off a chain reaction of everyone grabbing at and falling on top of each other.
Lucifer eventually jumps into his demon form and brute forces everyone out of their binds. We conveniently manage to break out of our own binds shortly afterwards through... more magic I guess?
We teleport the octopus trap away before Lucifer can get his hands on it. Unfortunately...
Tumblr media
... We teleport it to the finish line. Great work, team.
We run off to the coliseum, where the octopus trap and the grimoire await us. Mammon turns in the book to Diavolo, who reveals that it is predictably not the book Mammon was assigned to acquire and disqualifies his team. In his frustration, Mammon flippantly flings the grimoire to the ground. The seal on the octopus reacts to the grimoire which summons a stronger-than-usual chimera.
Tumblr media
It attacks Simeon. Lucifer, Barbatos, and Raphael jump in to save him while Mammon notes that Simeon should have no problem handling the chimera himself and loudly wonders why he isn't using his magic. This is how he presumably figures out that Simeon can't use it any more (though he doesn't come to that conclusion in this lesson).
The chimera is warded off and the others tell Mammon to stop questioning Simeon while they're all being attacked. We combine all our powers to --
Tumblr media
-- wait, no. Diavolo wants our team to do it alone. You see, up until this point we didn't demonstrate we work well together at all, and that was supposed to be part of our trial. Thirteen and Raphael are ready to take responsibility.
Tumblr media
And Raphael steps up to be the actual strategist and do our job, essentially. We just follow his plan.
Tumblr media
It works and we win. Lucifer turns in the octopus trap and wins the contest. And Diavolo makes a looooot of assumptions. That concludes the lesson.
Predictions
We’ll never hear about that grimoire ever again.
The next lesson will simply be a continuation of the sports festival with more sports/team-related shenanigans. I will say these past couple lessons have given us a good idea of how the new characters generally behave: Mephisto is a snob who likes to upshow Lucifer, Raphael is the “normal” smart guy who doesn’t get super energetic about anything, and Thirteen is obnoxious and rarely thinks things through (Raph’s opposite).
Thirteen and Raphael were centered in this lesson, so I’m hoping we get more of Mephisto in the following lesson. Since Mammon now knows Simeon can’t whip out the angel magic any more, he’s likely going to be insistent on having the questions he had answered, so that’ll be interesting.
My analysis part of this lesson can be found here.
