A Tale of Education and Transformation In June 2021, amidst the pervasive apprehension stemming from the looming threat of the Coronavirus pandemic, there emerged a sense of tentative resolve as individuals cautiously ventured beyond the confines of their homes. Among those individuals was myself, Umaid Khan, a recent graduate from NYNC, NMUJ, having achieved a commendable score of 82% in my B.A. studies. Despite having traversed various corners of Maharashtra, the enigmatic allure of the Vidharbh region remained uncharted territory in my exploration. Thus, fueled by a desire for academic enrichment and personal growth, I resolved to pursue further studies in law within the captivating expanse of Vidharbh.
My quest for a reputable institution in Vidharbh led me to the discovery of G.H. Raisoni University, nestled in the quaint surroundings of Amravati. Founded in the academic year 2018-19, this burgeoning institution stood as a beacon of educational excellence amidst the rustic charm of its locale. While the prospect of enrollment at this nascent university beckoned, I found myself confronted with the pragmatic consideration of tuition fees, which, though somewhat steep, paled in comparison to the allure of delving into the cultural tapestry and intellectual landscape of Vidharbh. With a sense of anticipation and fervour, I embarked on the journey to secure admission at G.H. Raisoni University, Amravati, confident that it would mark the commencement of a transformative chapter in my academic and personal odyssey.
As August unfolded, signalling the commencement of academic pursuits, there prevailed an atmosphere of subdued tranquilly owing to the lingering effects of the global pandemic. It was during this period that I embarked on my LLB3Y studies, stepping into the realm of legal education with a blend of anticipation and eagerness. However, my formal initiation into the programme occurred in November, post the culmination of MTE-1, a pivotal milestone in the academic calendar.
Navigating the intricacies of the educational landscape at G.H. Raisoni University revealed a distinctive examination framework characterised by its unique structure. This framework comprised Mid-Term Examinations (MTE) conducted in two phases, MTE-1 and MTE-2, preceding the Pre University Test (PUT), culminating in the rigour of End-Semester Examinations (ESE), carrying a weightage of 60 Marks.
Amidst the backdrop of academic pursuits, I found myself confronted with the realisation that G.H. Raisoni University operated as an autonomous entity, wielding considerable authority over its academic affairs. This newfound understanding shed light on various systemic challenges plaguing the institution. Among the prevalent concerns was a disconcerting rumour suggesting a lax approach towards attendance requirements, insinuating that non-attendance could be overlooked. However, this conjecture was swiftly dispelled upon learning that the university mandates a stringent 75% attendance threshold.
The revelation of this attendance mandate served as a sobering reminder of the ethical responsibility incumbent upon all stakeholders within the educational ecosystem. It prompted a reflection on the detrimental repercussions of misinformation and complacency, particularly on the academic trajectories of aspiring legal professionals. The cavalier attitude purportedly espoused by certain individuals stood in stark contrast to the ethos of academic integrity and professional excellence that underpin the legal profession. Indeed, it underscored the imperative for conscientious engagement and unwavering commitment to academic pursuits, safeguarding the future prospects of students and upholding the integrity of the educational institution.
Upon my initial arrival in Amravati, I was struck by the geographical remoteness of G.H. Raisoni University, nestled on the periphery of the city limits. However, as I gradually acquainted myself with the university’s ethos and operational framework, I found myself enamoured by its magnificence and unwavering commitment to fostering a nurturing environment for its student community. Despite its geographical distance from the city centre, the university exuded a palpable aura of inclusivity, cooperation, and student-centricity, thereby instilling a sense of belonging and reassurance among its inhabitants.
As I reflect on my experiences thus far, I harbour optimistic aspirations for the future trajectory of G.H. Raisoni University. I fervently hope that its sterling reputation for academic excellence and student welfare will continue to resonate far and wide, attracting a diverse cohort of aspiring scholars and professionals from across the country and beyond. Indeed, the prospect of witnessing the university burgeon into a thriving hub of intellectual discourse and scholarly pursuits fills me with a sense of anticipation and pride. May the legacy of G.H. Raisoni University endure and flourish, serving as a beacon of inspiration and enlightenment for generations to come.
The esteemed Head of the Department, Dr. Rajan Dubey, commands respect and admiration within the corridors of G.H. Raisoni University, Amravati. While his professional background may not be steeped in extensive legal practice, Dr. Rajan Dubey's tenure as H.O.D. is characterized by his exemplary management acumen and leadership prowess. It is his astute managerial skills and innate ability to inspire and guide that have earned him the esteemed position he holds today.
Under Dr. Rajan Dubey's mentorship, I gleaned invaluable insights not just into the intricacies of law, but also into the art of leadership and composure. Drawing parallels with the renowned New Zealand Cricket Captain, Kane Williamson, Dr. Dubey instilled in me the ethos of being a 'Captain Cool' – a leader who navigates challenges with equanimity and grace, eschewing aggression in favor of strategic thinking and level-headedness. Embracing this philosophy, I learned to maintain a calm demeanor amidst adversities, trusting in the clarity of thought that ensues from a tranquil mind.
Throughout my journey in law, Dr. Rajan Dubey emerged as a pivotal figure, offering unwavering support and guidance at every juncture. His keen understanding of my strengths and potential served as a catalyst for my personal and professional growth, as he consistently encouraged me to seize every opportunity and strive for excellence. Moreover, Dr. Dubey's approachability and empathetic demeanor fostered an environment of open communication and mutual respect, wherein I felt heard, understood, and valued.
To Dr. Rajan Dubey, I extend my heartfelt gratitude and admiration. His mentorship has not only shaped my academic journey but has also imparted invaluable lessons in leadership, resilience, and integrity. Indeed, his contributions to my development as a legal scholar and as an individual are immeasurable, and for that, I hold him in the highest esteem.
Upon entering the staff room following my meeting with the esteemed H.O.D., Dr. Rajan Dubey, I found it deserted, devoid of the usual bustling activity characteristic of a typical academic setting. Undeterred by the solitude, I seized the opportunity to peruse the notices adorning the walls, eager to glean insights into the myriad events and announcements shaping the university's academic landscape.
As I immersed myself in the contents of the notices, five minutes elapsed, punctuated only by the faint hum of distant chatter echoing through the corridors. It was then that the tranquilly of the staff room was interrupted by the arrival of Santosh Choubey Mam, a stalwart presence among the faculty members. With a warm smile adorning her countenance, she greeted me cordially, her inquisitive gaze betraying a genuine curiosity regarding my presence in the staff room.
In response to her query regarding my identity, I introduced myself with deference, conveying my eagerness to contribute to the academic endeavours of the institution. Without skipping a beat, Santosh Choubey Mam swiftly assumed the mantle of responsibility, assigning me to a designated class with characteristic efficiency and grace. Her seamless transition from inquiry to action underscored her unwavering dedication to her role as an educator, leaving an indelible impression on me as a newcomer to the faculty fold.
In that brief encounter, Santosh Choubey Mam exemplified the essence of professionalism and collegiality, setting the tone for my integration into the academic community. Her welcoming demeanour and proactive approach served as a reassuring reminder of the support and camaraderie inherent within the university's faculty fraternity. Indeed, it was a serendipitous encounter that marked the commencement of my journey as a member of the esteemed faculty at G.H. Raisoni University, Amravati.
Santosh Choubey Mam, despite her reputation for strictness preceding my acquaintance with her, defied my initial expectations during the three transformative years I spent under her tutelage. Far from being the authoritarian figure I had anticipated, Choubey Mam emerged as a beacon of support and encouragement, fostering an environment of growth and exploration within the classroom walls. Her unwavering belief in her students' potential served as a catalyst for my own academic achievements, culminating in the honor of winning the gold medal in my second year of studies.
However, my initial interactions with Choubey Mam were shrouded in a veil of uncertainty, owing to the ambiguity surrounding her gender. The juxtaposition of her traditionally masculine name, Santosh Choubey, with her role as a female faculty member sparked a momentary confusion in my mind. In a bid to clarify this discrepancy, I saved her contact information under the assumption of an error in nomenclature, only to realize later that her name was indeed accurately represented. It dawned upon me that perhaps Choubey Mam's name, inherited from her father, a valiant freedom fighter, served as a poignant testament to the indomitable spirit of women, reaffirming their equality and resilience in a patriarchal society.
Throughout our academic journey together, Choubey Mam's unwavering dedication to her students' welfare and academic success remained unwavering. Her propensity to challenge her students to explore new horizons and embrace novel opportunities instilled within me a sense of confidence and self-assurance that transcended the confines of the classroom. Indeed, the three years spent under Choubey Mam's guidance were characterized by moments of intellectual stimulation, personal growth, and profound camaraderie, leaving an indelible mark on my academic trajectory.
As I navigated the labyrinthine corridors of the university, seeking out the classroom assigned to me by Choubey Mam, I found myself momentarily disoriented amidst the myriad of classrooms clustered on the first floor. It was during this moment of confusion that I stumbled upon the esteemed presence of Nayla Mobin Mam, an esteemed former faculty member of the university, who graciously offered her assistance in directing me to the precise location of my class. Her kindness and generosity served as a poignant reminder of the supportive community fostered within the university, where faculty members extend a helping hand to one another and to their students, nurturing an environment conducive to learning and growth.
Nayla Mam’s influence extended far beyond the confines of the classroom, leaving an indelible imprint on my perspective and understanding of the world around me. Hailing from the culturally rich tapestry of Uttar Pradesh, her tenure as our lecturer at G.H. Raisoni University spanned a duration of one and a half years, during which she wielded her academic prowess to impart invaluable lessons that transcended the boundaries of textbooks and syllabi.
Through her lectures and interactions, Nayla Mam adeptly navigated the intricacies of societal dynamics, shedding light on the nuanced perceptions and biases that permeate our social fabric. With a keen insight into the harsh realities of society, she illuminated the myriad ways in which societal norms and conventions shape our perceptions and influence our interactions. Her candid discourse on these subjects served as a catalyst for introspection, prompting me to critically evaluate my own beliefs and assumptions in the broader context of societal norms.
Of particular significance was Nayla Mam’s role in facilitating my understanding of Muslim Personal Law, a subject fraught with complexities and intricacies. Despite encountering personal constraints that necessitated her return to Ghaziabad midway through the academic year, Nayla Mam’s dedication to her students remained unwavering. Her efforts in completing half of the syllabus before her departure laid a solid foundation upon which subsequent learning could be built, underscoring her commitment to academic excellence and student welfare.
Following Nayla Mam’s departure, the baton of academic stewardship was passed on to the esteemed Bhuvanesh Bawankar Sir, who assumed responsibility for guiding us through the remaining portion of the Family Law syllabus. Despite the transition necessitated by Nayla Mam’s absence, Bhuvanesh Bawankar Sir seamlessly stepped into his role, demonstrating a profound dedication to his craft and a genuine concern for his students’ academic progress.
The collective contributions of Nayla Mam and Bhuvanesh Bawankar Sir In shaping my academic journey are emblematic of the collaborative spirit and unwavering commitment to excellence that define the faculty at G.H. Raisoni University. Their mentorship and guidance have left an indelible mark on my academic trajectory, instilling within me a sense of intellectual curiosity, resilience, and appreciation for the profound impact that dedicated educators can have on the lives of their students.
As I settled into my seat for my inaugural lecture, a palpable sense of unfamiliarity and apprehension pervaded the atmosphere of the classroom. The gaze of my fellow classmates bore an air of curiosity tinged with skepticism, silently questioning the arrival of this new presence among them. Led by the esteemed Komal Khajone Mam, the lecture commenced, delving into the intricacies of the Indian Contract Act, 1872, a subject steeped in legal nuance and complexity.
As the discussion unfolded, the papers from the recently concluded MTE-1 examinations became the focal point of attention, with marks ranging from modest to commendable adorning the pages. However, my attention was diverted from the lecture itself, as I found myself engrossed in scrutinizing the performance of my peers. The disparity in marks, ranging from 14 to 22, served as a stark reminder of the diverse academic backgrounds and capabilities present within the classroom.
It quickly became apparent to me that the educational milieu within the university was characterized by a degree of leniency and laxity, where academic rigor often took a backseat to more relaxed standards of assessment. This realization served as a clarion call for self-reliance and initiative, compelling me to chart my own path towards academic excellence amidst the prevailing landscape of mediocrity.
However, amidst the humdrum of the lecture, a memorable incident unfolded that would leave a lasting impression on me. As the class drew to a close, Komal Mam issued a stern admonition directed towards me in front of my peers, emphasizing the importance of regular attendance and punctuality. Her words, delivered with a blend of sternness and concern, resonated with me on a deeper level, serving as both a source of inspiration and a gentle reminder of the responsibilities that accompanied my pursuit of education.
Yet, little did Komal Mam realize the unintended consequence of her admonition, as it inadvertently sparked within me a sense of determination and resilience that would come to define my academic journey over the ensuing three years. In my own unique way, I expressed my gratitude to Mam for her guidance and admonition, recognizing the profound impact her words would have in shaping my academic trajectory.
In retrospect, that moment served as a pivotal juncture in my journey at G.H. Raisoni University, Amravati, igniting within me a fervent resolve to navigate the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead with unwavering determination and fortitude.
Indeed, Komal Mam’s exemplary demeanour and unwavering support have left an indelible mark on my academic journey at G.H. Raisoni University. Her unique blend of firmness and compassion has served as a guiding light, illuminating the path towards self-determination and personal growth. Through her steadfast encouragement and unwavering belief in my potential, Mam has instilled within me a sense of resilience and fortitude that transcends the confines of the classroom.
The lessons gleaned from Mam extend far beyond the realms of academia, Imparting invaluable insights that resonate with profound relevance in all facets of life. Her unwavering commitment to her students’ welfare and academic success serves as a testament to her dedication and passion for nurturing young minds. Indeed, Mam’s constant support has played a pivotal role in shaping my character and instilling within me a sense of confidence and self-assurance that will undoubtedly serve me well in all my future endeavours.
As I reflect on the myriad influences that have shaped my educational journey, I am filled with gratitude for the myriad educators who have left an indelible impression on me. Each teacher, with their unique qualities and attributes, has contributed to my growth and development in profound ways. From Komal Mam, I have learned the invaluable lesson of self-determination, a quality that will continue to guide me on my journey towards personal and professional fulfilment.
As per my essence, the impact of Komal Mam’s mentorship transcends the confines of the classroom, permeating every aspect of my being and imbuing me with a sense of resilience and purpose that will endure for a lifetime. I am profoundly grateful for her unwavering support and guidance, and I carry the lessons learned from her with me as I embark on the next chapter of my journey.
The presence of Respected Sharvari Vadya Mam within the academic milieu of G.H. Raisoni University was brief yet impactful, leaving an indelible impression on my journey of intellectual discovery. Despite the brevity of our acquaintance, the experiences shared under Mam’s tutelage were nothing short of transformative, marked by moments of recognition and personal growth.
One particularly memorable instance occurred during a routine assignment evaluation session, where Mam meticulously scrutinised the submissions of her students. To my astonishment and delight, my assignment emerged unscathed amidst a sea of errors and inconsistencies, garnering praise and affirmation from Mam herself. This moment of appreciation served as a poignant reminder of the intrinsic value of diligence and commitment, validating my efforts and fueling my aspirations for academic excellence.
Despite the limited duration of her tenure, Sharvari Vadya Mam imparted invaluable lessons in legal language that transcended the confines of the classroom. Her pedagogical approach, characterised by clarity and precision, equipped me with the requisite skills and knowledge to navigate the intricacies of legal discourse with confidence and acumen.

SPOILERS FOR TROLLS BAND TOGETHER ENDING! (not really plot-related, but still spoilers)
ok but this ↑ x2 because apparently nsync is canonically part of the world of trolls, and it looks like they have a huge crazy fanbase [maybe even bigger than brozone?]
which, i don't get how that works, did branch pursue his singing career in the gap between brozone's breakup and rosiepuff's death? or was he living some kind of secret double life this whole time? but whatever i'm rolling with it
anyway i am a sucker for overlooked, underappreciated characters who are secretly amazingly talented, and i really really need to read a fic where original-movie-snack-pack somehow stumbles across rosiepuff's old pod or news articles from years ago or a secret nync concert and has the realization like wait wait WAIT is that who i think it is
as an unapologetic fan of the dreamworks trolls franchise, i have Many Opinions about the upcoming movie, but all i can seem to focus on atm is how wild things would be if the events of movies 1 & 2 hadn't yet occurred and one day john dory pops up out of nowhere looking for branch and the entire troll village tries to process the fact that branch, yes branch was once in a wildly successful boy band

Schitt’s Creek New Year, New Creek Challenge || 28. Favorite long-term arc
I always saw motels as a last resort, a dreaded pit stop. But I was wrong. Motels have the potential of offering a window into the unique charm of small town life. And that's exactly what the Rosebud Motel Group plans to do, open that window and revitalize the classic roadside motel for a new generation.

NEW YEAR, NEW CREEK CHALLENGE ↳ Day 1: Main character with the most growth
Like... maybe it realized that it missed the bigger pots that it used to grow in, and maybe it can't live up to its full potential in such a small space?

Zendaya always laughed at her height difference with Tom, the first time Lip NYnc and on an awards stage, I know it's friends thing to play, but her talk at GMA was hypocrisy
It's all friends and I get that but if I know my friend is insecure about something I'm gonna stop using it as a joke that's just being a good friend

Isto Eu Prometo a Você
Ooh, ooh
Quando as visões ao seu redor
Trouxerem lágrimas aos seus olhos
E tudo que cercar você
Forem segredos e mentiras
Eu serei sua força
Eu darei a você esperança
Mantendo sua fé quando ela tiver acabado
Aquele que você deveria chamar
Estava aqui o tempo todo
E eu tomarei
Você em meus braços
E te guardarei exatamente no lugar onde você pertence
Até o dia que minha vida tenha terminado
Isto eu prometo a você
Isto eu prometo a você
Eu tenho amado você o tempo todo em vidas anteriores
E eu te prometo que você nunca mais será magoada
Eu te dou minha palavra, eu te dou meu coração (te dou meu coração)
Isto eu prometo a você
Isto eu prometo a você
Isto eu prometo a você, querida
Apenas feche seus olhos, cada dia amoroso (cada dia amoroso)
E sabe que esse sentimento não vai embora (não)
Cada palavra que eu digo é verdadeira
Isto eu prometo a você
Cada palavra que eu digo é verdade, isto prometo a você
Ooh, eu prometo a você
