Elyana is 19 (ish) and has already been fighting off marriage proposals for years when she loses her virginity to Criston and vice versa.

Alyse is a little older than Aemond, so I'd put her at around 17yo when she loses her virginity to not her husband Gareth.

Nyka'a is around 18 and Jaren is only older by a few months when they first sleep together.

Given the nature of her upbringing and the way in which she ends up on Tattoine and why, Inara'a is already well in her twenties when she - after a particular night of much needed fun and in a bout of utter contempt for fate as a whole - sleeps with her bodyguard and best friend Khaii and forever alters the nature of their relationship.

How many of your ocs have superpowers?

*opens handy dandy masterlist* 🧐

- Gol D Mira (Sairen Sun) has been given a Mythical Zoan Fruit that gives her the ability to turn into a mermaid and submit people to her will (she later learns to utilize her devil fruit power to tab into the Haki abilities she inherited from her father, but they are always intertwined with her Sairen form)

- Moira Finnigan, Evanora Black, Minerva Weasley and Olivia Nott are witches

- Mila Lebedev has been given a knockoff version of the supersoldier serum which makes her a little faster, better, stronger and less breakable

- as a fighter for Earthrealm in Mortal Kombat Katherine Chen has an Arcana - she can turn the kinetic energy of an attack and turn it into a shield

- Nyka'a Sundar and Jaren Korr are full on jedi and Inara'a Brae is a force sensitive seer and telepath

which of your ocs stands out the most amongst the others?

I mean... 👀

Sun's been holding my hyperfixation for close to half a year now, which is impressive.

Elyana has quite a lot of edits on her and practically sparked an entire "franchise" with her daughters and all ^^

and my girls Inara'a, Nyka'a and Moira somehow manage to always slide back into my mind no matter how long it's been, soooo... 🤷🏻‍♀️

BUT I feel like I can't pin point a standout OC, that's something my followers might feel about one OC or another, but I cannot pick a favourite child 🤗

Tell me about your fave backstory/random factoid you've come up with for your OCs

Ooooh... Hmmm.... 🤔 not at all my main Thing™️ right now, but I'm a sappy little shit so my favourite bit of background I've ever come up with is for my Star Wars prequel story "Starcrossed".

Nyka'a's first ever clear, comprehensive memory is of a three, four year old Jaren grabbing her hand while Master Yoda was telling their youngling clan a story that scared them.

I am naturally partial to all the lore I give my OCs, but this one always has me go "awwww" when I think about it 🥰

My Star Wars stories (because I really wanna do sth Star Wars) and why I can't just pick which one to work on -

- aka "my brain has unlearned to do things just for shits and giggles and I am making it yall's problem" ✌️

1. Star-Crossed (Nyka'a Sundar & Jaren Korr)

I love their story so much, but since the main focus is on them figuring out their lives and their relationship outside the boundaries set by the Jedi Order, I feel like the "Love Story vs Star Wars Story" scale might be tipped in a way ppl probably wouldn't be interested in...?

2. Distant Stars (Cassia of Aquilea)

It's the Star Wars WIP with the most writing done, so it would make sense to just continue with it, but I am having a hard time getting excited for anything Sequels (even though this particular story already pretty much eliminated everything about them save for Poe^^'). Also the last bit I posted barely got any reaction/feedback and that's never a boost in motivation^^

3. Rebirth (Jay Vendar & the crew of the Rebirth)

I'm in love with the overall concept - a ragtag crew of found family members gallivanting the galaxy in the wake of the Emperor's defeat, saving force sensitive children off of Malachore? What's not to love? Right about now, Ahsoka, apparently. I'm just not feeling her character/her upcoming franchise installment at all. So now I am left with three options- scrap the story alltogether (which would be kind of a shame), bite the bullet and try to work through it as is or scrap Ahsoka and replace her with another OC who happens to be a former jedi in need of a ragtag found family gallivanting the galaxy.

4. Through the Mist (Inara'a Brae)

Still running the same dilemma with this one - her whole background and plot is set up to coincide with what happens during "Kenobi" and the movies from there on out. Her whole story is intertwined with Obi Wan - because she was set up to be an Obi Wan OC, period. But then I accidentally made up a(nother) soulmate for her in the form of Khaii Al'Canthar and now I'm all over the place with where I want to take her (mostly because my heart can't take the thought of hurting Khaii ^^')

Long story short - I am still writer's blocked, yet so desperate to work on sth that I am standing in my own way 🫠

What do nyka'a and jaren do during the rule of the empire?

First they survive.

They stage Jaren's wreckage to look like he died (Nyka'a initially believed it, too so it's a solid plan) and change planets a few times to cover their tracks.

They also assume aliases (and pretend like they are married 🥰).

At one point they are discovered by the inquisition and have to kill a former fellow padawan.

In the end they settle on Jaren's home world and... they live. ❤️

As a matter of fact, I do have Star Wars OCs 🤗

First, there is my girl Cassia (and she even has two published chapters of a fic by the name of "Distant Stars", I can hardly believe it myself) - she is a Poe Dameron OC and the story takes place after TLJ.

Cassia is a street thief on the planet Lok. She first meets Poe when she pick pockets him amd steals his mother's ring. She later saves his life when he has a very close call with a Thrandoshan bounty hunter. After the First Order ceases his ship, Poe appears to be stranded on Lok. But somehow Cassia happens to be a dead ringer for the missing crown princess of the Aquelean system, so he and Cassia hatch the plan to pass her off as Princess Aelia and make it off Lok in the safety Aquleam escort.

If you thought "this kinda sounds like Anastasia in space", yes it does. It's a self indulgent Anastasia fantasy. With a side of Poe Dameron 🥰

And then there's my children Nyka'a Sundar and Jaren Korr who are prequel era jedi.

They grew up at the temple on Coruscant together. They are each other's first memories, they grew up in the same youngling clan, they were inseparable. So much so, they very narrowly didn't even get chosen to become padawans, because especially Jaren's attachment to Nyka'a was already starting to look like it could be an issue.

Aaand they weren't wrong. Jaren has been in love with Nyka'a for as long as he knew what that meant, maybe longer. Nyka'a takes a bit to catch up, but things come to a head sometime in their late teens. It's a lot of "but we can't!" and yet they do and Nyka'a breaks Jaren's heart when he basically lays his heart by her feet and asks her to run away with him, but she runs from her feelings and asks to take the trials.

Then the purge happens and they go on the run from the empire together while trying to figure out what to do about their feelings without the order standing between them.

They are so dramatic and star crossed and "I can't live without you" and I love them so much 🥰
