Big Question!

So, I am working on an AU for a good while. I have a bit of stuff down about it as well! The AU is called "Neighborhood Watch Kill" or NWK for short. It's an 80's anime based television. So it's pretty much welcome home but in anime style, I guess. Though it doesn't disappear or whatever.

its always surreal to me to see people praise s2 of centaurworld. s2 was so spectacularly bombastic and aimless and it ended in this awkward forgettable fizzle.

i feel like a dick saying it b/c i really do love the show lmao. or, at least half of it lmao (/stares at tnwk). gf and i've been thinking about rewatching it just to write out our thoughts on why s2 was such a poor follow-up to s1 - from the tone to the setup to all the worldbuilding the narrative had to offer in between the (far more) memorable songs of s1. idk. it's sad because cw really had the bones of a cult classic, but idek if you can call it that.

ive seen a few posts commenting on its lack of popularity, and i feel like it certainly deserves more, b/c i do feel like it's a novel idea made w/ love, but the shift btwn s1 and s2 wasnt just in the plot. there was a full-on *fracture* in the quality and direction and i'm still scratching my head over it. more than i should be, probably. but, it's just a bummer.

She guided me gently but spoke very firmly as she maneuvered me toward the counter ,leaning me forward, bending me over.

"Are you sure that we should do this?" I asked, hyper-aware of the wooden paddles that seemed to hang from every wall. Her hands circles my waist, unfastening my jeans. "Not..." I began, trying to stop her, but she slapped my hands away.

"That's how it's done," was all she offered as an explanation as she yanked my pants down over my hips.

"Can you... pull my panties up, instead of down?" I begged.

"No," was all she said, leaving me in this ignominious position to collect a spoon from the crock on the counter, my heart sinking and my bottom shaking. "I think this will work best," she decided, smacking it fearsomely against her palm. Tears pricked my eyes.

"Put your hand behind your back where I can hold it," she directed before clasping my wrist firmly. She pressed against my left side. "Wrap your arm around my waist.

"See? All nice and secure," she concluded when I did so.

"This will only take a minute," she promised when she began.

Ok, maybe one more thing

Let's just say I've been thinking about a certain arcade game I came across on YouTube recently which I may or may have not came across in my childhood but it certainly feels nostalgic enough to show off. 'Super deluxe' arcade cabinets with curved projection screens like this were very commonplace back then! Kudos to Vectrex4Life to recording this rare look at the game.

completely deranged thought I had when writing my portal fic wip (you could argue all my portal thoughts are deranged but this one is special): since every personality core is a unique (albeit heavily modified) copy of caroline's data does that make GLaDOS and Wheatley's computersex scene actually Caroline on Caroline action??

the ghost copies of Carolines are fucking??? In MY portal fic!?? ....yes, actually

(and to clarify, yes, Wheatley IS also based off of Caroline. what that fact does to him is a fun lil subplot for the fic. but there are many more cores dealing with... similar situations. the Caroline infection spreads....)
