@hellcheerweek Hellcheer Week: Day 6 prompt - Touch Starved and Devil
I really love how this one turned out!
Chrissy is a devoutly woman of god. Quite frankly she’s very much in need of a little change in her pious life. Unlike the old proverb, “Idle hands are the Devil’s playthings,” Eddie’s hands (and more) will certainly get the job done. Anyway, nun!Chrissy and Demon!Eddie everyone.

"What do you think will happen, demon? Will fucking me bring you salvation? Is that what you're hoping for?"
The demon you've captured writhes under you in your bed. He's already been weakened, his powers subdued by being on hallowed ground. He doesn't have the strength to overpower you, nor the magics to play tricks on your mind.
It didn't mean you were immune to his... other charms. His teasing touches, whispers in your ear, late night meetings in your quarters.
He shouldn't be here, you should be on your knees in prayer. Instead your knees bracket his slim hips, your habit bunched up around your thighs. You were sworn to a life of celibacy, a life long marriage to God and no one else. But you found no wrongs in pleasuring yourself.
"This is what you want, yes?" You lift your habit further, exposing the patch of hair at the junction of your spread thighs. The demon below you groans, tugging at his restraints at the head of your bed. "Do you think you can tempt me so easily, demon? This is a holy place," your fingers dip into your heat, spreading your folds open, drawing back the curtain for him to see your most sacred place. "This is no place for the likes of you. With your foul words, trying to lead me to temptation," you scoff.
You lean back on one hand, the other making quick circles around your clit. Your head falls back and you let yourself feel it, feel the powerful blessing of pleasure ratcheting up between your thighs. The demon under your thrashed and begged, pleaded for a touch, a taste.
"You're a tease, a whore," he spits venom but his eyes tell a different story, so full of awe, wonder... hunger.
"When I touch myself I honor him. He made me in his image, in his glory. I was made to cherish my body, to carry myself to ecstasy until I saw his light, his face," your words came in gasping, shuddering breaths. You could feel yourself inching closer to the edge. His election below you as well, the way it nudged and searched and longed to enter you, to plow its way past your holy gates, to fill you with its sulfurous seed. He could yearn for your blessing all he wanted, but a doomed soul would not be allowed entry, no matter how he pleaded.
"Your cunt is too pretty to not be filled, o' holy one," the demon smirked even as he gasped, watching your fingers get sloppier, sticky in your juices.
"Then I shall fill it," you slide two fingers in and instantly your pleasure ratchets higher. "And I shall coax out his blessing until you are awash with it."
The demon's curly head lifts, like he's trying to get a closer look at the way your hole flutters around your fingers. Your groans turn to shouts of leg shaking pleasure and you can see it, golden sparks at the edge of your vision. You reach your peak then, pulling your fingers free from your spasming clutch and with them releasing a torrent of your holy waters.
The demon shouts, his deep red skin sizzling as your fingers continue to work at your nub, splashing his chest with the spray of your ecstasy, the essence of your God. His blessing pouring through you and scarring the beast below you.
He roars, bucking under you and you can feel his release splash against your back, a sizzling heat that shoots all the way up to the back of your head coverings.
"Such a bad boy, making a mess," you slip your habit up over your head, dropping it on the floor to be washed later. The demon takes in your naked form, his fingers curling, claws digging into his palms until they bleed.
"It's time to send you back, Edward," you caress his cheek, his protruding horns, down to the mess you left on his chest. He's already healing, his eternal form bouncing back so he can live another eternity in hell.
"Let me stay, let me have you," he begs, rattling his chains.
You press a kiss to his forehead, your bare breasts hanging achingly close to his hungry mouth. But you pull away before he can latch on and taste your flesh for himself.
"You have to go back, Edward. I can't fuck your spirit whole."
The demon growls and before you can anger him further you close your eyes and will him away. His rattling chains fall silent and you know he's gone.

I feel like the first call was foreshadowing Buck and Eddie’s storyline this episode because Buck gets grabbed by the throat and his issue is that he’s panicking and struggling to come out to people (specifically Eddie) and then Eddie gets grabbed by the uh yknow and goes on to have issues regarding sex and romance and …stuff. Just another cool detail.

can i speak. i think that eddie Catholic Guilt is hard to believe and dare i say. not real. for many reasons. one of them being Not All Latinos Have Catholic Guilt especially not in the way that white catholics conceptualize it. and TO ME it’s a bit of a cop out . and i don’t think we should believe eddie when he says that’s the reason for literally anything bc it’s a really convenient excuse for being insane and repressed but i just don’t think it’s true . and i think that something much more nuanced is afoot (aka a complex racial identity and relationship with expectation).
to me he was really like. barely raised catholic tbh. he was raised AROUND folk/cultural catholicism which ofc impacted how he was raised and his perspective. but this kind of catholicism is so different from institutionalized (and white) catholicism it's difficult to even compare the two. and i honestly don’t think that the catholicism is the main problem. like his parents just don’t strike me as being devout in the way that imparts guilt onto their children (they have fun OTHER ways to do this). i think they are traditional and crucially. catholic when it’s convenient and when it allows them an avenue for control (biggest example here is eddie getting pressured into getting married to the girl he impregnated as a teenager.) but to me. this stemmed from complex cultural traditions and beliefs. which catholicism is an easy simple explanation for . but isn’t really the root of the problem. it's a part of it ofc but honestly i think things are often ascribed solely to catholicism bc catholic guilt is a widely applicable perspective when it honestly doesn't make much sense. like i think that eddie being a mixed race mexican-american has more to do with anything than catholicism does. and again. these things are interwoven. but not in a way that it makes sense to blame capital c Catholicism for things where culture (and cultural catholicism) makes way more sense as an explanation
like ik that eddie talks about how he was raised going to mass every sunday etc etc. but even the way he says that he just... stopped... says so much. like the fact that he was even allowed to do that tells me that his parents honestly never really cared that much about that kind of devotion. and the way he talks about it really makes it sound to me like he was one of those kids that never really bought into it at all and so the institutionalized teachings of the church never really got to him. what did get to him however is the folk catholicism/mexican-american teachings of Right and Wrong (aka you get somebody pregnant you commit to them. you feel emotions you tamp them down in order to protect others etc.) and this is not necessarily Catholicism in it's classic conception.
i have no idea if this makes sense and it is really hard to explain how this interplay works if you haven't grown up in it but basically.... hegemonic constructions of catholicism are vastly different from the kind of "catholicism" that i think eddie was raised in. and bc of that i think that "catholic guilt" is a weak explanation for eddie's perspective and best and just. inaccurate at worst. and we should NEVERRRR listen to eddie when he gives too clean of an explanation for his repression. that man is a liar
#source: i SAY SO#really happy to be putting my mexican american studies major to work in this way#i just think that people often ascribe hegemonic institutionalized and WHITE views on catholicism to characters of color#and it just..... doesn't work#the complexities of mexican american catholicism are far deeper than the shallow view of 'catholic guilt' could ever begin to uncover#and i think that eddie's mexicanidad gets left out sooooo often when like. to me. you can't talk about eddie without it#and that it's a far more accurate and true to character way to discuss him than anything solely about religion#but then again i'm a mixed race mexican american too and think that me and eddie are soul bonded bc of this#so that's MY bias. but i do genuinely think that discussions around characters of color get flattened so white people can understand them#and i just think you can't ignore his identity. in ANY conversation but especially not this one#911 abc#911#eddie diaz#and you know what yeah i do think that the whole marisol nun storyline was annoying.#like correct me if i'm wrong but has eddie literally ever mentioned catholicism with any sort of seriousness before that???#to me it kinda came off as them running out of ideas and being like oh eddie's mexican and so he must be catholic and have catholic guilt.#which is just..... boring and overdone work tbh. but maybe i'm wrong. but anyways i just don't think it's true#and it's just a convenient explanation for not wanting to have sex with a woman where the real explanation (being gay and being mexican) is#far more accurate

You ppl are so shallow, Eddie doing a priest?
He couldn't get it up with a former nun, what makes you think a priest would solve his problem with God?
Next person I see who talks about Eddie doing a priest and an old one at that is getting blocked, clearly our kinks don't match and it has nothing to do with faith.

Dude- Imaging fighting your whole life with the idea of god and how the catholic guilt took such a tool in your mental health that you end up in a semi-normal relationship just to find out that your girlfriend WAS A NUN.
Eddie Diaz, u might not believe that the universe is screaming at you, but it’s certainly laughing 🤣

As a practising Latin catholic, the nun storyline was freaking hilarious especially since I watched it with my mom whose boyfriend happens to be an ex-catholic priest

Woke up in the middle of the night thinking about Eddie Diaz getting his clothes torn off Thursday night and the tenth station of the cross, Jesus is Stripped of His Garments, and have they used the stations as a blueprint for Eddie’s story?
The potential spoiler today made me think of it again, because if Shannon is back in some capacity, yeah, it could be another near-death experience for Eddie, which would be the natural conclusion to the stations.
But what comes after the last station? Resurrection and ascension, rebirth

Ghost of a Girlfriend
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Gif by @stevenrogered)
During the periods of general joy in 7-06 (i.e. before & after The Great Disappearance), I think Eddie is as happy and relaxed as we’ve ever seen him. He’s gleeful, he’s snarky, he’s a little shit (and already planning whatever zinger he’s going to sling at Buck next time they’re not in a huge group that includes Buckley parents). He is just generally loving life and living for the moment.
The absence of Marisol is very, very loud. She is never even mentioned at all, even in a “Marisol had a family event out of town” passing way. She’s just…not…there.
I think this episode, more than any other, cements her fate. Eddie is happy with his friends and family. There’s no empty space or feeling of missing something being felt during her absence.
Once again, the ghosts got more focus. She’s not even a ghost. She’s barely an afterthought.
