Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures s1e25 “The Prince and the Pirate” is one of the best Star Wars stories ever told.
perfect, beautiful culmination of the characters’ arcs this season while still showing they have room left to grow. gorgeous animation, some of the best action sequences in the franchise, fan-favorite characters that fit perfectly in the story, it’s perfect.
yes, the show is designed for a younger audience, but it understands the heart of what makes Star Wars and the Jedi great and tells amazing stories with it.

Okay so I had a drinky juice (yes I am an adult and I can only handle these very childish storylines while a lil bit tipsy cause drunkies are like toddlers) and I am watching Young Jedi Adventures and I am now on episode 3 1/2 which is an episode where Nubs gets sick!!!
1: the little sad noises Nubs makes while saying he feels icky is clenching my heart and 2: HE HAS A FULL ASS ROCK CLIMBING WALL IN HIS BEDROOM!!!
All I’m saying. Is that Jedi really do specialize rooms to species or preferences and we really need to stop pretending they don’t.

at the end of the high republic phase iii marchion ro will challenge the strongest jedi to single combat. of course the strongest jedi ever is nubs, who will single-handedly kick marchion ro’s ass and save the galaxy. i am speaking this into existence.

idk if I'll ever publish it but here's an excerpt from my "the cast of thr meets the cast of yja and the former get protective over the kids" fic
After what felt like forever, Kai heard the whir of a ship, and saw a huge Jedi Starcruiser land in the open-air docking bay. A look at Nash confirmed her eyes had gone wide with excitement.
Before Kai was fully conscious of his legs moving, he was running, and he heard the others behind him. The ramp hissed downward, and Kai saw seven figures walking down toward his group of Younglings.
Always excitable, Nubs jumped up and down and waved, greeting the group in rapid Poobian. Almost at the same time, Kai heard Lys gasp next to him.
“Wow,” she said in awe, focusing on one of the two Jedi with chalk-white skin, and Kai instantly saw why. “Is that a Krinnan? I’ve never seen one in real life before!”
Lys ran up to the group of Jedi, who, despite their worried looks when walking down the ramp, broke out into smiles of varying sizes.
The Jedi with the Krinnan on their shoulder knelt, but kept a protective hand on the creature.
“Correct—good eye,” the Jedi confirmed, smiling at Lys.
The Krinnan cooed and strained toward Lys, tail twitching as it preened itself.
“And he seems to like you,” they said, tone growing softer, the hand dropping.
Kai saw a green-skinned Twi’lek and the kneeling Jedi’s twin exchange a look.
