Am I the only one that feels like NTs HATE saying 'I don't know.'
You will not believe the amount of times I'll ask a basic objective question about a situation and they'll give me an answer, only for later the answer to be completely wrong. And then when I ask them why they would give me wrong information - they say 'I just guessed.'
I didn't ask you for your guess. I asked for the information. If you didn't have the information don't just GUESS. Say 'I don't know.'
I feel like NT don't realize that WRONG information is worse than no information.
If I want to know when an event will end and you say '5pm' - I'm going to be mentally prepared for 5pm. And if it DOESN'T end then, not only will I be out of energy, but I'll be irritated and confused because I'm in an unfamiliar situation with NO INFORMATION
Had you just told me 'I don't know what time it ends' instead of GUESSING 5, then I would've prepared for the worse. But now I have to literally rearrange everything in my head and talk myself down from meltdown cause I was given inaccurate information and also I thought I was going home.
But they act instead like saying I don't know is a moral failure.
My father used to yell at me all the time to not say 'I don't know.'
He'd always demand I figure it out and come up with SOMETHING no matter how uninformed or vague and that's how you have NTs walking around feeling like it's a crime to admit they simply don't know something
and instead they'll just shamble something together and hope that's good enough regardless of whether in the information is actually helpful or correct.
IT'S SO ANNOYING. JUST SAY YOU DON'T KNOW.
Stop guessing and giving me WRONG information because it only makes the situation worse and more confusing. Say you don't KNOW. It's FINE.

‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
embarrassing, embarrassing, embarrassing all around.
like clockwork, all of the rats are crawling out of the woodworks to double down and remain ignorant to the issue at hand. THIS is why publicly calling out an ALREADY public incident is permissible & encouraged even. it’s embarrassing the way they keep showing their ignorance.
so many of them defending what happened by claiming it to be a “cultural” thing and everyone else just doesn’t understand. so many of them saying Wesley and others were wrong to take to social media to condemn even though that livestream was also very much public, so no. they weren’t wrong. they just didn’t like being publicly called out on it.
when they say it’s cultural, they want it to be overlooked, and that’s one of the biggest problems with why racism like this continues to have such a stronghold in our society, and ESPECIALLY in Latino culture. It shouldnt matter if “that’s just the way it is” if it is has been and always been harmful to a whole group of people. that “cultural” defense is such a pathetic way to keep disgusting and harmful behavior around and to CHOOSE to remain that way instead of learning to be better is so incredibly detrimental. calling it out for what it is is probably the least anyone can do when being witness to it. they have to choose to be better or else they will continue to look like the pathetic and malicious clowns they are.

ilkay's national team retirement is so tragically beautiful because he is associated with for the 'dark', unsuccessful time of the national team like almost no other (which is such a big difference to how toni & thomas stepped back). he is one of very few football players who actually genuinely apologized for something he did when he was very young (and he still receives often racist backlash for). but he still always showed up, it always felt like he really wanted to prove that he can show up for the national team - which i always loved him for, because there were times it felt like no one really wanted to be there. i will miss him deeply!! and i hope he knows that he is appreciated & that he made this amazing summer possible!!
